Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey everybody, This is Aaron with Star Wars Reactions. The
episode you're about to listen to is our live coverage
from Ocala Comic Con from this past weekend. We had
a blast. Just wanted to hop on beforehand though, and
let you know. There are some slight audio distortions through
there that I can't we couldn't help. Unfortunately, It's just
(00:23):
part of doing a live recording. When you're out and about,
you don't realize what's going on until you're going back
listening through it, So I apologize for that. Hope you
enjoy our coverage of Okella Comic Con twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
This is Vanasa Marshall, the voice of Harrison Doula. We
have hope, hope that things will get better, and they will,
especially if you listen to the Star Wars Reactions podcast
with Aaron and David. May the Force be with you, Always.
Speaker 3 (01:00):
Have your fund. In nineteen seventy seven, George Lucas formed
a legacy and I am inspired by mythology. His saga
has become a passion for many. His legend has become
our stories. One of resistance are kindly, rebellion and redemption.
(01:29):
This is Star Wars reactions.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Remember always all right, everybody, we are here, live on
location in a hotel room. Welcome to reactions after dark.
Just kidding, we're not. We're sitting here. We're going to
(01:54):
recap our day one at Okella Comic Con. Here in
the lovely city of O Cala, Florida, David Martters back yard.
So we got an all star panel for you. It's
me and David and just kidding, it's me David and
(02:16):
Greg and Greg mcgloffin from the Rebel based card who
flew in for the fun today. So let's uh, let's
let's let's go have at it. It has been a
long and it has been a fun day. It's longer
for some of us who had to fight planes to
get here too, and some of us had to drive
(02:38):
a little further. You had to drive in fly Greg,
So it's been a longer, longer, longer day for you.
But uh, let's let's talk about it.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Let's I'll start with you, David. Let's talk about your
first day. How have you? How did you feel your
first day at Calakoma Con.
Speaker 4 (02:57):
Went, Oh, this was incredible. You know, we did this
two years ago. We were hoping that you would be
up for this in twenty twenty three, we weren't able.
It didn't work out, but Mary and Chaz got here
and there was a bit of a Star Wars presence,
you know. We talked about Sam we're being here. He
did a panel that was about it. Although we had
the people from Jedi Fallen Order, Cameron Monahan and the
(03:18):
person who played Maron, but nothing like this, and this
blew the doors off everything that we did today. How
much we talked to Star Wars voice actors and celebrities
was just incredible and we can run through that. But also,
like you'd hinted at, it was probably just capped off
because you got Marian Chaz coming out. But then Greg
(03:41):
coming down from the Greater Chicago land area, which was
awesome and we were so hoping you get down here, buddy.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
So absolutely it was a great seeing every mean, that's
one great thing about doing these conventions, being with people.
It is being with the people, being with our friends
and seeing people that we don't get to see all
the time. And extra special Greg, because you flew in
and joined us from the Great White North and uh
(04:12):
and came down to our lovely overheated Florida Sunshine. So
welcome to Florida, my friend, how was your how was
your day?
Speaker 5 (04:22):
No?
Speaker 4 (04:22):
Thank you?
Speaker 6 (04:23):
And you know, it's it's kind of funny because, like
most people when you say, you know, if you're down here,
we lived down here for a time a couple of years,
many many years ago, and so you find that there
are transplants and there there are very few actual like
native Floridians. But it was kind of fun to come
back and fly through Tampa and get on you know,
two seventy five and seventy five, and we lived here.
Speaker 7 (04:45):
We lived off of two seventy five in Saint Pete.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
But you know, I.
Speaker 7 (04:49):
Think that there was a couple things. One is up,
you know, my wife works.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
For our an airline, and so we were blessed with
you know, standby flights, but it's still you know, it's
availability and and things have to line up. And so
this morning it lined up that I was able to
get down and you know, I had a car and
then was able to catch kind of the second half
of it.
Speaker 7 (05:09):
But what I caught here was really amazing.
Speaker 6 (05:13):
And I think that the thing that makes these kind
of cons great are the fact that you're smaller to
mid size shows. One there was a huge lineup, but
given its proximity, given where it's at, there's a lot
and you guys will talk about it a lot of
chances for really incredible interactions that you're not going to
(05:36):
get at a larger show like a Seto or a
San Diego comic on or you.
Speaker 7 (05:39):
Know, these bigger ones.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
And so you know, although the prices I think have
started to rise across I think, you know, you got
to really pick your spots, but I do think that
what you're getting value wise is so much more.
Speaker 7 (05:53):
And and of course you know, knowing that you guys would
be here, that.
Speaker 6 (05:56):
Mary and Chaz would be here, and you're like, all right,
this is a great chance because normally we only see
each other from the from the zoom up.
Speaker 1 (06:03):
Yeah right, And so.
Speaker 6 (06:04):
It's it's just really nice where you get to see
you get to see a full figure.
Speaker 7 (06:07):
To Aaron and David and uh.
Speaker 6 (06:09):
And then the only thing I'm worried about tonight is
I've got the I've got the the rollaway here.
Speaker 7 (06:13):
But as Major League was on TV, I'll just finish
this real quick.
Speaker 6 (06:17):
I half expect to see my my bet out by
the track like you know Willie Mays Hayes in Major League.
I expect to wake up the more and go dang,
I got cut all ready.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Well, I got to say you're the first person I've
ever said it was fun to be on two seventy
five and seventy five again, because those roads are never
fun of being not here, but yeah, I mean for me,
I've got to throw it out there. It was a
great day. And I've talked to you Greg, and to
(06:53):
you David and uh Mary and Chaz too, and it
was communicating with them throughout the day and you know,
and today was so much fun. It was such a realief.
This is really this is the first time I've seen
you David face to face and you too, Greg, since
everything transpired in March and April and May and the
(07:16):
passing with my mom getting sick and passing, and it
has been a struggle of a year. So doing this
this weekend and today has been, like like I told you,
I was very therapeutic for me to get out here
and just have some fun and see things and really
(07:41):
get care free literally and have well awsome steam, have
some fun, have some great interactions with friends, but also
with star Wars celebrities, because, like you said, David, we
have a full lineup of Star Wars celebrities here today.
(08:01):
This is you know, you look at comic cons and
they usually have a mix of people from all different
parts of the of different fandoms and everything. But this
is really a small Star Wars convention.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
It was.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Because you have Manny Jacinto from the Acolyte that's here,
and you had Tate Fletcher from the Mandalorian. You have
Emily Swallows from the Mandalorian, you have Katie Sakoff from
the Mandalorian, and Battles Star Galactica you have, and of
course if you're a fan of Big Bang Theory, she
(08:40):
was a nice little episode there which I loved. Then
there you had of course your Rebels reunion, Steve bloom
is here, is here, Vanessa Marshall, Taylor Gray, Tia Sir car.
So it was very such a great Star Wars presence
(09:05):
here at the at the con, and we were able
to attend several I know you got here a little
later in the day, so you missed the Mandalorian uh
panel which we got to see with Emily and Katie,
which Tate Fletcher flewid late and We were actually joking
around Craig because he was supposed to. They were like,
(09:27):
they posted online he should be here around three. Then
you were like, I'm going to be here around three.
Were like, he's going to roll in with Tate Fletcher,
isn't He gave him a ride. He gave him a
gonna roll in with Tate. But so but we got
to experience that panel, which was great. Then of course
the Rebels panel and the Q and A with Manny Jacinto.
(09:50):
So it was all around just a fantastic day. I
know you had the shorter day at the con compared
to the rest of us. But for your they hear,
what was your favorite part of the day that you've
got you got to see and be a part of
at this convention so far?
Speaker 6 (10:10):
Well having done, you know, I went to Huntsville and
hung out with the Molders, you know, Frank and Amy
a couple of years ago at Huntsville Expo, and that
one that was that I wasn't intending on getting there
that late, but I ended up getting there with about
an hour left, and so I was able to kind
of case the floor a little bit. But I ended
up having a great little moment with doctor Pershing because
(10:32):
much like here, you know, the tables where you go
and get autographs. I mean, they were even closer than
what they were here, and so when I was kind
of walking around, he's kind of like by himself, and
you know, it's one of those things where you don't
you you want to respect the table. You're like, all right,
I know that you know you have you know, prices
for autographs and stuff, but most times I think they'd
(10:53):
be fine.
Speaker 7 (10:53):
And I just said, hey, I just want to let
you know you're awesome in you know, doctor Prairie.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
Level of this, and we because we've kind of locked
eyes and so I have to say something, and I
was like.
Speaker 7 (11:02):
Well, that's great.
Speaker 6 (11:02):
That was That was a perfect you know thing that
I wouldn't have gotten at a bigger con.
Speaker 7 (11:07):
I wouldn't, you know.
Speaker 6 (11:08):
But that's what I kind of liked here is like
one being able to see like we got to see
a couple of years.
Speaker 7 (11:13):
Ago in Nashville and I see see see.
Speaker 6 (11:16):
They had a rebels readied panel and it was I
mean a much larger deal, but it was still great
to see them all out there. But to have that
plus many a sinto to see it, because normally when
I go, I don't I don't really have time for panels.
But it was nice to kind of see it and
you go, oh, this is great. And then really having
kind of been towards the end of the con season,
like I've kind of gotten my fill of any of
(11:37):
the figures or any of any of the dude ads.
I'm here to see people and anything else is you know,
is gravy.
Speaker 7 (11:44):
But I would say one of.
Speaker 6 (11:45):
The things was just that whole one side was all
dioramas by the Droid Builders and the Fibo First and
the Rebel Legion.
Speaker 7 (11:52):
I mean that was huge.
Speaker 6 (11:54):
I know that you know at C two they have
like the fan the family zone of the Fibo First
and you know And and Company usually have a great
display there, but this one was huge. And so there
were several opportunities and and like I was getting into
and some of the recordings I did where you know,
basically David was flagging people down to take our pictures
in front of this and that, you know, I was
(12:14):
telling him, like I show little man, you'll you'll get
somebody come up right away.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
I felt that short leg it worked. Next thing, I know,
we had three people offering to take our photos.
Speaker 6 (12:25):
I'm telling you, just you's gotta you just gotta you know,
you got to the right the right methods to do it.
Speaker 7 (12:29):
But I would say, you know, once and then marry.
Speaker 6 (12:32):
When Mary and Chaz came up from the Steve Bluem
Marathon session, I think they were I think they were
airlifted supplies at.
Speaker 7 (12:40):
One point for the amount of time they spent on line.
Speaker 6 (12:43):
You know, I don't think West Berlin was as well
fortified as as these.
Speaker 7 (12:47):
Folks in line. That's that's okay, that's an old but you.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Just aged, just age yourself, my friend.
Speaker 7 (12:55):
The West Berlin airlift was. That's about what the line
was to do.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
For Stephen.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
I don't think he saw daylight until the very end.
But once everybody was together and we kind of realized.
Speaker 7 (13:04):
Like, wow, this is great. Yeah, but that that was
kind of the favorite thing.
Speaker 6 (13:08):
And during the rebels spanel, just just briefly, you know,
I got in behind and so you guys were watching
in the seat behind you opened up and I was
kind of sitting there watching and I got this great selfie.
Speaker 7 (13:17):
I'm like, don't tell anybody.
Speaker 6 (13:18):
I was waiting for somebody because I was trying to
text David, and then later on you were saying like
he doesn't take as one that well, like okay, I
was waiting for somebody to try and go.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
You know, you're you know, man, I didn't know.
Speaker 4 (13:31):
I was mesmerized by the panel. I mean, like you know,
from the last time we did a big Rebels panel
was twenty seventeen where.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
They were all over there. They told us it was canceled.
Speaker 4 (13:41):
Yeah, exactly, So it was so nice to see them back.
But I the piggyback off yours, Greg, I was I
was thinking about it was so neat to see all
these Rebels people. We started with Rebels reactions on coffee
and have gone from there. So that holds a special
place in her hurt. But I really think that Greg
has said this a lot on the Rebot based Car
(14:02):
podcast about different sized cons, but he just mentioned it.
But what we were able to do today with this
size con it's not happening like you said at C two,
It's not happened at celebration, but the time for me,
it was a joy to watch Aaron interact with an
sm Marshall teaser car Taylor Gray. He snuck over, he
(14:27):
got he got a Katie sack Off. We I was
I was actually uh following Greg on that one because
Greg was doing meeting Vanessa Marshall and getting his stuff
with her at that time, and so me and Chaz
and Mary were with him. But where's hearn And of
course he's over hanging out with Bolcatan and so you know,
I don't know what's going on, and he's he knows
(14:49):
what he's doing. So but I think that was the
joy that was seeing you because the time that they
took when you talked to them about some of the
stuff that you were talking about with them, and the
pot of rebellion which I got to and to watch
all that. I just that was a joy for me
to see you with all the rebels, you know, voice
(15:09):
actors and stuff like that. And so hopefully we'll be
able to do the same thing. I don't think we
won't be able to get that time with Steve Bloom
just because of the length of his Him and Katie
set Off were the two longest lines, no question, But
that was the most afternoon. Yeah, oh my gosh. Yeah,
So that was the most joy was seeing that and
how they really wanted to talk with you. Yeah, and
(15:33):
Vanessa knew you like.
Speaker 1 (15:34):
I I'll say this.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
I want to put this on here. There's several times
where we were waiting in line to get up to Vanessa.
Actually I think we were. We at Taylor first, Taylors first,
We're and Taylor, and then I kept looking over and
she was looking over looking at Eric. So she knew
him from Star Wars Weekends from you know what, twenty
fourteen field, so she absolutely remembered him and that was
a lot of fun. But so that was my biggest
(15:56):
joy was was watching you interact.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
With all the Yeah, that was that. That was that
was something special for me because you mentioned Potter Rebellion
and everything that's there. If you aren't familiar with that.
That is another podcast that Vanessa Marshall, t sur Card,
Taylor Gray, and some other guy. I can't remember his name,
(16:20):
so I don't know who they do this up that
they do this podcast. Basically, they're doing a Rebels we
Rewatch podcasts and there for some of them, they hadn't
watched these up they made them. But you know, like
even Katie said during their their show, yeah she never
(16:41):
watched Battle Star Galactica and she's talking about doing a
recast up. But for Potter Rebellion, it's those three doing
watching Rebels and then talking about what they remember from
the episode and making it and and it's a lot
of fun, and so it was. What was so special
about this for me is one of course, if you've
listened to the show anytime at all, you know I'm
(17:02):
Rebels obsessed. I loved Rebels, And you know, if you
followed me for any time, you know I started podcasting
with Rebels. I took over Rebels reactions for Dan and
Corey at coffee with Kenobe and halfway through the couple
episodes into the second season, and took off from there
and hosted it till it ended so and had a
(17:28):
fantastic time. So it's always meant a lot to me
because that's where I started, and it's just a show
that connected with me. You know a lot of people
were connected with Clone Wars because it came out and
they watched it from the beginning. They have that special
For me, it's Rebels. And when they launched pot of Rebellion,
(17:49):
it launched while my mom was in the hospital, So
I was commuting back and forth every morning, every evening,
back and forth to the hospital she was fighting, and
as they would release their episodes, I'd listen from the
beginning and got to listen and it was a very
(18:12):
I used this word before, but it's the only way
I can really say. It was a very therapeutic show
for me because it would take me out of where
I was at that moment with dealing with everything and
bring me back to something that you know, I love,
I love Rebbles, I still love Rebels. But that show
(18:35):
helped even though it wasn't you know, it was one
episode every so often, it was something that really moved
worked for me, and it helped me. And one of
the many things that helped me get through You David, you,
Greg and Anthony King and Mary and everybody that jumped
in and helped out and communicate. Daz would message me
(18:56):
every so often from the UK and we would and
just to check up and then you this family really
got me through and a pot of rebellion. I got
to say it's part of that because they helped me
as well. And I just one of my goals for
this con when I found out they were all coming,
was to get with those three in italyte and thank.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
Them for it.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
And when I thank them for it, and then explain
to them why they were. Of course they were all
taken back, but you know, for like, like I think
Taylor said it best, he goes, you know, we sit here,
we do this for fun, like we all do. We
all podcast for fun, and you you don't know who's
(19:38):
going to listen, You don't know how it's going to
be received. But then to hear a story like you've
just shared, it means a lot because it means that
you know, it's not only people are that are listening,
but it can actually bring people some sunshine and dark
times whether it's which is not what we intended, but
(20:02):
it's what it's doing, and it means it meant a
lot for them to hear that, as much as it
meant for me to say it. So we had some
very there were some deeper discussions with them about that,
and y'all saw Tia just gave me the biggest hug tailor,
(20:22):
I mean, after we threw ourself. He just I didn't
see that one coming. He blindsided me with that big
old hug, and it was it was, it was, it
felt good, it felt it was It's the only where
I keep coming ups Therapeut, which it was, and I
meant this week, this day, this has meant an absolute
(20:48):
ton to me. And and You're right, I did slip
off and steal Katie all to myself. Literally. I got
done with Tia, was packing up my bag, putting my
folder back in there, and I look up and y'all
are all over at Vanessa again. I'm like, and I'm
looking down the road and I see Take Fletcher there
(21:09):
because he hadn't been there all day, so I'm just
going to scroll down and see what he's doing and
how I get down there, And he's got twenty five
people in his line, and I'm looking at the sign
and with the times and everything, and I'm looking at him,
and I glance over and I'm like, there's only two
people at Katie Sakoff. And I look behind the table
(21:32):
and I'm like, well, there's the handler and there's a
security guard, but there's no Katie. So I'm like, are
they done for the day? If I scrolled down there
and just to peek and I turn around, look and
I still see David. You pick David out of a
crowd in this arena. So I see David still down
at v with Greg, and I knew where David was
(21:55):
there would be Greg, Mary and Chaz also, and so
I just move on down. Uh, and I stand at
the sign checking out.
Speaker 4 (22:05):
Katie simes.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
I'm like, no, she's signing till six. And I look
up and I'm watching and they're all just standing there,
and all of a sudden threw the curtain. Boom, there's
Katie's out of and I went, crap, I.
Speaker 4 (22:22):
Gotta get I gotta get the autograph.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
Note. I turn and look down the way, and if
you check your phone, I texted you and said I
met Katie's. I didn't there should be a I met
Katie's and so I'm like, I gotta do this. So
I got up and then I got up there, and
then I had the impossible task of picking a picture,
(22:45):
which I did pick one, and then just had a
nice little chit chat with Katie and she signed a photo,
asked about the con I was enjoining the con, asked
how she was enjoying Okawa, and then we took our
picture and that was it. And I came walking back
down the way and y'all look at me. David's like,
where'd you go? And I'm like I was naughty. I
(23:08):
was naughty and it was fun.
Speaker 4 (23:10):
It was fun.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
It's overall it was just a fantastic day, quite enjoyable
and uh I had fun.
Speaker 6 (23:20):
Well, one thing I think you bring up is I
think so freaking you know, like we know that you
know the the autographs and the pictures and all that,
you know they're they're not cheap.
Speaker 7 (23:30):
You know, you save up and you're like you're gonna
take it from your pay there or whatever.
Speaker 6 (23:33):
But I think if you're going in with the right expectations,
and especially with something like this, where you can kind
of pick your spots right.
Speaker 7 (23:40):
So I mean like here it was fairly clear you.
Speaker 6 (23:42):
Had Steve bloom and and and Steve illumination is over
on the one corner literally, and everybody else has kind
of open up. And I think that you know, if
we were going if we're going to a celebration, if
we're gonna go, like there's one thing where if you're
gonna go get McGregor and you're gonna you're gonna.
Speaker 7 (23:58):
Pay that kind of money.
Speaker 6 (23:59):
It's like that you know what kind of experience you're
going to get, and you're an idea like Greg and
you know, Amy have talked about like trying to come
up with something to make that interaction go as long
as possible. But I would say that if I had
the option of getting let's just say an eighty dollars
Manny auto at fan Expo versus like somewhere, We're like, here,
I'm going to do it. I'm going to go to
(24:21):
a smaller con because it's going to be the pressure
is going to be a little off.
Speaker 7 (24:25):
I'm going to get a little more out of it.
Speaker 6 (24:26):
And you know, all, you know, we kind of bring
in you know, you bring in your expectations of what
you're what are you expecting? And this is something I'd
love to have Dave uh, David elaborate on, elaborate on
where and so in this case where you know, I
was like, well, I knew that a couple of them
we're going to offer audio and I'm like, you know what,
(24:47):
I did this with Timmy Taylor at I See CX.
I'm like, you know what, I'll either have you know,
Tia or Vanessa do an audio drop. That'd be fun
because that way it you know, you know, sometimes the
pictures go in the books and you don't see me
on the cards can go in the books, but the audio,
I'm like, I can bring that up every now and
then if I have an episode, and it's kind of
fun because it's a great reminder of But in this case,
(25:08):
you know, it was towards the end of the day.
I went there, and you know, I was able to
talk to a little bit about before it.
Speaker 7 (25:13):
I kind of prepped.
Speaker 6 (25:14):
Not like kids, if you haven't listened to some of
these drops these guys did today, they're insane.
Speaker 7 (25:20):
You're absolutely gonna love it. I mean, I was like,
I was happy with what I have. These guys have
Sheep's kids.
Speaker 6 (25:27):
But that's also it's nice where it's like, but this
is something where you can do that at and you
can have a little time and you can have those
impromptu reactions where you can kind of go over and
even just say hi.
Speaker 7 (25:37):
Like Manny Cincinto, I was just like he.
Speaker 6 (25:40):
Was getting ready to pack, and I was like, hey,
you know you were talking about you know when you're
kind of talking about like your favorite Filipino food, or
they were talking about like representing.
Speaker 7 (25:48):
And you know, my wife Filipino, my kids are have
Filipino And it's.
Speaker 6 (25:50):
Like it meant a lot to me that you guys
were up there, and I just wanted to say I
told him, I just wanted to say.
Speaker 7 (25:54):
I loved it when you were talking about Synagonue because
I was.
Speaker 6 (25:56):
Like, text my wife going he said synagogue and he
kind of laughed about it.
Speaker 7 (25:59):
I'm like, I know.
Speaker 6 (26:00):
That he's not like a huge talker, but it was
fun and there was that one question that could ask
about and where he kind of was like he was
trying to come up with that movie and some guy,
and all of a sudden you could see where the
lights clicked on and he was like really engaged.
Speaker 7 (26:13):
And so these just these little moments.
Speaker 6 (26:15):
But I'm like, when you're doing this and you're deciding,
like hey, I want to go to a con to
do a thing, to get a thing, think about your
expectations of what you want, and you know, sometimes traveling
out of your way to get to a place.
Speaker 7 (26:27):
Would be you know, like it's not like these cats
go all over to place.
Speaker 6 (26:31):
They're making the tours and it's great because they also
not only do they get along, but they go all
over the place. But it might be better to get
a vansa marshal or to get you know, a cay
sack Off at a place just like when you met
Emily Swallow earlier this year, where it's like they're just
kind of being now obviously, and you better have enough
battery to talk about the dinner because that kids, you
(26:54):
got to wait around the podcast for this.
Speaker 7 (26:56):
But pick your spots, is all I'm going to say,
and I'm going to turn it back to David.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
Well, No, you were talking about expectations. This exceeded them
because you know, again going back two years ago, you know,
Mary Chess and I got in pretty quick, almost at
the very beginning, and we went right directly back to
Sam whitwork. And you know, Mary's been very clear about
how different different cons are run well and somewhere not
run well at all. And so my concern was, you
(27:23):
know what, Erin and I have enough time to hit
some of these, although there's two days that really helps.
But because of the way it started, we got in
I think just before Mary and Chess and I think
they ran into a big rush that Aaron and I
did not get. I think Eron and I were here
at nine to fifty five ten o'clock. I think they
got here ten ten, and Mary said it was kind
(27:46):
of a mess for a little bit yeah, to get in,
but we didn't have that. So we immediately come back
and we have to talk about Nika Fotnreman, the voice
of a size ventress. And I already loved her before.
After talking to her again, Greg expectations at a con.
You know, here, here's what you can do. Right. So
she's got a autograph and selfie. Did that right? She
(28:08):
did have audio, a video, a video option like some
people don't do that right, a video option. But when
Aaron was picking out his picture, I'd already gotten mine
and I'm talking to Nika Futterman. I said, are you
can you do a little audio drop, like a little
bumper for a podcast? She goes absolutely, you know. And
and again I don't know if a bigger cons, they're
(28:30):
gonna just kind of stick to it. But there's where
she does something extra. It's just like I go back
to to Aaron. He gets the autograph and selfie Vanessa
Marshall autograph, selfie with Taylor Gray, autograph and selfie with
tiasur Car, But all three of them spent more time
with him after that, I mean after that, like when
(28:54):
Aaron said more and I kind of stepped back. He
was talking privately with them, you know, but I'm just
watching the whole thing. But that's the three of them
spending extra time. And you can tell the concern and
the care they have for him when he told them
what kind of what kind of year it's been, And
you're just like, I already love these people, and I
love them even more now. But but that kind of stuff.
(29:15):
Anika Futterman and what she did, I'm sure Aaron's gonna
put Vanessa Marshall's bumper in this one. Probably Nika Futterman's
in this one. But like Greg said, they were outstanding.
And so this first day is absolutely exceeded expectations. Again,
these individuals don't have to do this. They don't have
(29:37):
to do this, and they all took extra time or
did extra stuff and I'm just so impressed.
Speaker 7 (29:43):
And on top of that, and.
Speaker 6 (29:45):
On top of that, they've seen several people, I mean
many people throughout that not as many as Steve Blom.
Speaker 7 (29:50):
Steve Bloom seeing everybody.
Speaker 6 (29:52):
Everybody who paid admission today saw Steve Bloom, not everybody tomorrow.
Towards the end of the day, right, you know, some
of these people are tired. And one of the nice
things about you know, like the Rebels crew is like
they've done enough of these that they have you know,
they have they they they've got their chops ready to
(30:13):
go and they're there and they seem like they're having fun.
Speaker 7 (30:16):
And that's why I didn't like with.
Speaker 6 (30:18):
Vanessa RuSHA because I'm like, you know, A, she's a collector,
she's a nerd like us. She's having fun and you know,
even her even her handler Molly, was great because you're
just kind of talking with her.
Speaker 7 (30:29):
But you know, so it's sometimes the.
Speaker 6 (30:31):
End of the day, like you could be saving up
for this and thinking that like, okay, end of the day,
it's gonna be quiet, and they just might be. And
but I think it's tough for them because they all
they have to be on the entire time because if
they let their guard down somebody has a bad experience,
it's gonna hit their bottom line because they're going to.
Speaker 7 (30:49):
Go online and say, like, man, this person was.
Speaker 6 (30:51):
A blah blah blah blah blah and they didn't you know,
so it's almost it's almost a can't win.
Speaker 7 (30:55):
But I do think if you go A with expectations.
Speaker 6 (30:58):
And B with a great ad it to like agents,
can I get on your flight. Yes, great, just be
nice kind you know, like what the thing that Aaron
says to tells you every episode because it's gonna come
back at any rate.
Speaker 1 (31:13):
That's yeah, and a perfect model of kindness and patience.
It was Emily Swallows and Katie Soakoff at dinner tonight.
So you brought that up. I got it, got it.
So so we get back to the hotel after we
literally stayed at the con literally till they threw us out.
(31:37):
Literally if you if you listen to Greg's coverage on
his show of the con, you'll hear them coming over
the speaker saying get out before that, get out, exit
the building. But so we get back to the hotel
(32:02):
and Mary and Chaz come with us. Gregg's here, David
and nine. We go down to what was the name
of that place, Yellow Yellow Pony, uh And this apparently
is a horse capital of the world.
Speaker 4 (32:16):
According to David it is.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
I still think it's like University of Central Florida claiming
the national championship. But that's a discussion for another day.
But we went to the Yellow Pony for dinner, the five,
the five of us, and we get nice seat out
on the patio and by Joe who is sitting in
the corner across the patio, Emily Swallows and Katie Soko,
(32:42):
So we could say we actually had dinner with them, yes,
although we didn't get to talk to them see what
they were eating or yeah, yeah, what did over say?
What you say is true from a certain point of view,
So we did. We did.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
We did dinner.
Speaker 1 (33:00):
Yeah, we had dinner with Katie's half off and then
only Swallows tonight. And that's my story and I'm sticking
to it. But picking your time. Uh, we're sitting there,
and of course, you know, we've been at the con
all day. They have been at the con all day.
We see them, we know exactly who they are. But
we're not going to bother them. We're leaving them alone,
(33:22):
letting them unwine, We're letting them vegge. You know, if
they'd have been there when we left, we probably would
have been like he waved. Yeah, they're catching up, they're talking,
they're unwinding. They're probably sitting there like, oh my god,
did you see that? About just kidding they but they
had they were having fun. They were they were having
a nice relaxing evening. And next thing, I know, and
(33:45):
we're all sitting there. Next thing, you know, this guy
just walks up to the table and he does not leave.
He's just standing there brutal, talking and talking, and they're
sitting there looking up at them, and then of churse,
you could tell they're they're being nice or being polite.
Then after a while you can see they're getting a
little Swallows just kind of got her hand on her,
(34:10):
loving her temple. And of course I think Katie sack
Off handled at the best. Her glass of wine went
from full to empty in a matter of two and
a half minutes as she chugged the thing. We almost
send new glasses over to them to help them. And
we're sitting there going somebody. We're sitting there like somebody
(34:31):
needs to do something. And somebody did do something. His
friend brought him two cups of beer. So now he's
standing there double fisting two cups of beer while talking
to Emily and Katie and I'm sitting there going and
we're all all of us, all of us are sitting
there and we're just dying inside. We're like, this is
(34:53):
this is terrible?
Speaker 6 (34:54):
To be fair, it could have been something now early
early in the early and interaction. I thought it was
somebody that was maybe a handler and associate, you know,
someone that's been on a project. As it went going on,
the the percentage I'm seeing, like you know, like the
you like a video game percentage of just dropping of
that that realized, like, I don't think that's And then
(35:15):
when you see his other friends standing there awkwardly, wait,
you're going like, this is not a line to get to, like,
this is not the evening the evening session with Katie Sachoff,
this is not a panel.
Speaker 7 (35:28):
But at some point they finally did.
Speaker 1 (35:30):
Yeah, he finally walked away with his beers before it
became a drinking fame of like you know, and so
so our advice to you wherever you are around the globe.
If you go to a pant a convention, then go
to a hotel afterwards and you happen to see somebody
(35:54):
from the convention, a celebrity having dinner, leave them alone, mhm,
let them unwine. They are just as tired and exhausted
as you are. Be kind. Let that be your nice,
your kind deed for the day. Leave them alone. From
(36:15):
from the depths of my heart, please leave them, because
I felt so bad for the Lily and Katie.
Speaker 4 (36:21):
It was painful to watch for a while.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
It really was, It really was. But oh so we
got uh, got a long day tomorrow too, because Greg,
you're flying back out to back home tomorrow, yes, uh,
and David and I will be perusing day two of
(36:45):
Almost AID Central Florida Comic Con.
Speaker 7 (36:47):
What panels here tomorrow?
Speaker 1 (36:50):
Tomorrow? There is a voice acting in video games panel
with Vanessa Marshall, Bloom and somebody else. Is it Emily Swallows?
Is Emily Swallows because she's not some video games? Then
(37:12):
then there is a Q and A with Steve Bloom,
And then there's one more, yes, a Q and A
with Nika Futterman. And actually I think the Nika Futterman
is not Emily Swallows. It's Nika Futterman is the is
the other one for the video game panel? And those
are Those are the three panels that will be going
(37:34):
to I don't know is there any others tomorrow? I
don't think there is. Those are the big panels. So
there's a couple of fan panels in a very small
three row room. Uh, well, it's not really been a room.
It's more like four curtains and a door.
Speaker 6 (37:52):
But one thing I do want to ask, you know,
for going tomorrow, right, so all these great interactions today,
maybe David can speak as well as like, so what's
going through your mind as we are? I mean, we'll
we spend You'll be spending a decent amount of time
there and you know, you can circle the floor.
Speaker 7 (38:09):
Maybe you'll do some shopping.
Speaker 6 (38:10):
But I am kind of curious how you go in
and then what happens? You know, do you almost not
even go down to that section because you we're on
the high of highs, right, So we had this great
interaction and if you saw, like I mean, now you know,
not everybody can have the mean qui uh, you know
the interaction that our friend has Davis.
Speaker 7 (38:30):
Had where she basically adopted him.
Speaker 1 (38:31):
And took him home.
Speaker 6 (38:35):
But I but I am wondering, It's like, what are
the what are some of the things also that you're
thinking in your mind tomorrow?
Speaker 7 (38:40):
Because it's it's another.
Speaker 6 (38:41):
Day, it's a fuller day even with that, but what
are some of the things that you would be looking
forward to doing.
Speaker 4 (38:47):
I I'm really hoping that this can work out with
Steve Boman. I'd love to see I'd love to see
Aaron be able to interact with him really make it
a four for four. I mean, he seems so fun
on at the panel. He's just always cracking jokes and
he really has got a lot of zeb in him.
And I hope that. I hope we can do that.
(39:09):
I mean he said a few care bads up. That
was great when you said stage and that's Aaron's like, uh,
you know word whenever we podcast. But uh, I'm really
hoping for that. I don't think I'm just just it's
just really I think what it is is expectations are
are lower. This is super high, you know, just getting
to see everybody, seeing you, Mary and Chez and Aaron
(39:31):
and and just being here and being able to talk
to all these people we want to talk to, So
expectations lower. Hope to see some stuff, enjoy these panels,
just set and relax and watch those, but but really
have gotten to to interact with really everybody want to.
But I'm really hoping that that can happen with Steve
Bloom tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
Yeah, you know tomorrow. You know I would love to
see Steve. Love to go to those panels. But you
mentioned the floor too. We actually really have not walked
the floor and looked. So that's one of our things
tomorrow is to walk around because I've seen a couple
of people that I want to talk to. Alan Grimes
that we see in Lakeland all the time is here,
(40:13):
who does some great art stuff, has done some stuff
for tops card art cards. Then the Brittany and Brittany
Arts here. We stopped to talk to her for a minute,
but like to really go back and talk to her
some more and then just explore the rest of artists, Ali,
explore some of the shops, see what's there, go back
(40:35):
through and get some good footage, video footage of all
the five oh first stuff ront lining that wall, because
that's just that there's stuff there that you know. I've
been the Celebration, I've been to multiple Central Florida comic cons,
I've been to Mega Con. Some of this stuff I've
never seen before, and I really would like to get
(40:56):
some nice footage to share with the reactions family on
socials and stuff. Then, so that that's really what we're
looking for for tomorrow. So that's right, that's right, That's
that's where we're at. So so let's uh, let's go
ahead wrap this up. We had a long day tomorrow
and we will be back discussing day too soon.
Speaker 8 (41:22):
Hello, this is a sage ventrest. If I will you,
i'd listen to Star Wars Reaction or else you might
get a little visit from all right.
Speaker 1 (41:36):
Day two Okalla, Comic Con is almost in the books.
We're here having had a great day. Me me, David,
Mary is with us again, and Chaz is here as well.
Kind of a great day. Greg had the head out
early this morning, so he's not with us, but we
(41:58):
had a great day one with him. So let's let's
talk about day two. We saw a couple of panels,
We saw saw a couple of people, talk to a
couple of people. Yeah, a pretty well good day, David,
kick it off, tell me about your day.
Speaker 4 (42:14):
Yeah, No, this is our Our goal was to get
here early and get in line for Steve Bloom and
we did it. We got here, scooted around second in line. Sorry, Mary,
this is this is a whole thing, Mary, this is
the whole thing. But it it, you know, it worked
out really good. Let me tell the story. All right,
(42:34):
let's do it. So we get up there and Aaron
is getting getting an autograph, right, yeah, telegraph and selfie
and a selfie, and so then I had my Star
Wars Insider, which I gave a copy of the Taser card,
gave a copy to Vanessa Marshall. This is all from
twenty fifteen, a decade ago. And so we get up
(42:56):
there and Aaron shows Steve the picture from twenty fourteen
of Star Wars Weekends, him and Aaron, and so Steve
Bloom was immediately like, wow, you were there before rebels,
even Aaron. And Aaron's like, yes, I was, and he
was so thankful for that. Right as he was saying
(43:17):
that I had opened up my Star Wars Insider and
I want to show him that, you know, we were
there at fourteen and fifteen. And so he saw it
in a picture of me and my kids with him
doing the zeb kind of growl and all that, and
so I said, you would you like a copy of this?
You know, I didn't know, you never know, And he's
like are you what? Are you sure? And I'm like, yeah,
here's a copy, and he's like he kind of welled up,
(43:39):
remember right, he kind of did this whole like really,
he comes out from behind the table, he gives me
a big old bear hug and then gives Aaron a
big old bear hug and then goes to do the
selfie with Aaron, and then he says, well, wait, you've
got to come in after this, And so then we've
got a wonderful picture of Aaron and I. Aaron's being
(44:00):
basically attacked. You tell the rest, because it's great because.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
When when he brought you into the selfie, who is
him on the side, me in the middle and you
on the other and you and him and got your
arm stretched out doing the ze thing and I'm just
kind of standing in the middle acting like I'm being
mad and uh. Then he then in all of his
zeb glory, he goes say, Choppa sucks, which is the
(44:24):
wrong person to say that too? Is me and I
and the best zeb I could, I went, I can't.
He's my favorite, to which to which Steve replied, but
he's a criminal, and I go, but that's why I
love him. This is a whole thing, the whole thing. Uh,
(44:46):
And yeah it was. It was a great, great time
there and great encounter. Then of course we went and
we saw Nika. We saw a gaming panel with Vanessa
Marshall and two.
Speaker 4 (45:00):
Other games.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
And Knickerbocker and sand or something. Sorry, I don't know
their games. I don't know their names. It's not Star
Wars related, So I failed. I apologize. I would go
read a sign, but they just wore it down because
they're packing stuff up. But we had a great time
at that panel, and then we had roamed the floor
(45:24):
a little bit, then went to uh the Nika Futterman
panel and Q and A and then the Steve Blond
Q and A which was awesome. And now we're just
back kind of roaming the floor and we're actually standing
here looking at Katie Sakoff uh signing him with last
autograph as she's passed packing up, and Tate Fletcher over
(45:47):
there playing on his phone because nobody's there, and you know,
he had a few people there a few moments ago,
and pan Up just packed up and left. And but uh,
of course our reb rebels plan is still here, Tia
and Ezra or Ezra, Tia and and Taylor and Vanessa
(46:08):
and of course Steve Bloom still has uh hundred people.
Yeah he is well, they said last night he was
here until seven.
Speaker 4 (46:18):
I don't know, because that's his line for seven hours.
We're here. You take the microphone, you may this has
been a whole thing. This is a whole this. We
want to tease you, but we're not sure how much
we tease you about this.
Speaker 5 (46:32):
This has this has been a thing. And it's not
like I haven't stood in lines for celebrities in the
last twenty years anyway. But and it was not Steve
Bloom's fault. It was not his handler's fault. It wasn't
really a Colla o'kella Comic CON's fault. It was Okella,
Comic Conn's wifi's fault. They they got backed up, cars
(46:56):
weren't working, and they were being very diligent to make
sure that when cards the card readers were reading the
cards that they weren't double charging people because it wasn't
reading that it was reading that it wasn't reading again.
And yes, so, and of course he had obligations. He
had to go do the rebels panel, he had to
(47:18):
do photo ops. The poor man had to eat and
go to the bathroom at some point because he was
at that table NonStop all day. And it is still
at what four o'clock on Sunday afternoon, it is still packed.
But we ended up we did stand in line. It
(47:38):
was a special autograph that we were doing for one
of Chazz's best friends for as a gift, and it
was for us standing in line for although it was rough,
like it's rough, but you know, we stood in line
from ten thirty to one thirty, did a little tag
teaming a couple of times, they I mean were really
(48:01):
until three o'clock we stood in line and then they
did let us go to the panel for rebels and
we came back and we finally talked to him and
met him and got the autograph at four forty five.
So from ten thirty to four forty five, I got
to know a lot of people in the Steve Blue line.
Speaker 4 (48:20):
See.
Speaker 1 (48:21):
But you know it is as horrible as that being
in coming to a kind of being in line for
that long is you hit the ma on. You got
to meet a lot of great people. And that's you
know one although I don't think I could would have
lasted as long as you did in the line. That's why, yeah,
that's why you all taged team. But just having the
(48:42):
opportunity to talk to me, like the like the guy
we met this morning in Steve Balloon's line, David Jay.
We met him this morning right in the line, and
he was just so excited he was getting to meet
Steve Bloom. It was one of his one of his
bucket list said he was to meet Steve Bloom before
he left Earth, and the fact that he came to
(49:02):
his hometown of Okalla just made it icing on the cake.
And uh, like when I tectually said we were second
in line, he was number one in line. And the
only reason he was number one in line is because
I stopped him from walking away. He was actually going
to go roam around till they started and I grabbed.
I'm like, no, don't do that. I said, this line
(49:23):
was horrind just yesterday said you go away, you will
probably spend your entire day right here, and you don't
want to do that. So so we we kept him
from taking the roaming mistake. But uh, but yeah, it
was great and seeing it, just seeing his face light up,
meaning Steve for the first time, was I was exciting
(49:46):
for him.
Speaker 3 (49:47):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 1 (49:47):
It was very exciting for him. So now we've been
here both days, we had a lot, we've had a
lot of fun. We'll talk about highlights. What has been
your highlight of Ocala kama Con.
Speaker 4 (50:04):
I think I said it last night, you know, when
we were recording with Greg that I think maybe my
highlight is seeing the interactions that you've had with all
of the Rebels voice actors see Bloom tsur Car, Taylor
Gray right, and Vanessa Marshall. They were just incredible And
it was a highlight for me too, giving those copies
(50:27):
of Star Wars Insider with them in it from ten
years ago. That was a real highlight for me. Is
spending time with all of them, the Rebels crew, And then,
of course, you know, even more important than all of
that is seeing Mary and Chaz and Greg getting down
you being out here with all of you, being here
in Ocala, spending time with you guys. I just walk
(50:48):
on the show floor just now. But those are the
biggest highlights. Time with all of you, and then time
with the Rebels crew, which is really what this con.
This con was really a Rebels heavy, which is perfect
for all of us. So merry thoughts.
Speaker 5 (51:03):
I agree with you. I mean, it's always good to
be with friends, and you know, you make friends, and
we've always laughed at we all knew each other at
some point before we knew each other at this point.
But yet and I have learned over the years that
cons have gone from let's see how much we can do.
Let's see how many celebrities we can see, Let's see
(51:25):
how many this, this, this, that we can do to
Let's see how many interactions we can have that are
real interactions and be with friends and people that we
don't see once a year, once every two years or whatever.
And then get to the new people we've talked. Chas
(51:46):
and I have talked to a number of the vendors
this weekend that are local, that are either Okala local
or Orlando or Jacksonville local, and just we're pleasant and
wanted to talk with you. They didn't care whether you
spent a dime. They wanted to just interact, which is
always very good. So it's really nice. We've said it before.
(52:10):
We said it at Central Florida Common Com. We've done that,
We've said it here, We've done this a couple of
years ago. The smaller cons are where you can relax,
have a good time, hopefully not stand in line for
seven and a half hours, but at least, you know,
be able to interact with friends, and you know, to
top it off, we got to have dinner last night
(52:32):
in a gorgeous setting here at the World Equestrian Center
in o'kalla. And you know who can beat that?
Speaker 1 (52:39):
Yeah, no, exactly right. You know, the beauty of the
small con is and not necessarily how much can you
do in the one day. It's the quality of the
stuff you can do in the one day, going to
the panels, spending time with people you meet, meeting new people.
(53:00):
If you get to get an autographic and celebrity, that's
icing on the cake. And this has been I would say,
with with getting to spend time with all of y'all
and Greg flying in and being with us yesterday, has
has made this a just probably the one of the
probably the greatest thing I've done since Star Wars weekends. Honestly,
(53:22):
even better than than the celebration I was at right
because at least when I walked left the celebration, I
left with a broken hand, so you know I'm still
intact right now. Knock on a hard floor. There's no
wood around, so uh's knocking on her head. But it
has been a tremendous experience and a tremendous opportunity to
(53:46):
just have fun walking and I like what you said.
You mentioned the vendors.
Speaker 4 (53:50):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (53:50):
We were talking to Alan Grimes, who's based out of
Lakeland that we see all the time at Central Florida
Comic Coom. We've seen him here, a he prolific artist.
And then I'm trying to remember I just blanked on
her name. We were talking about where I got the
chopper sticker from. Oh, I've got her card, Proximate.
Speaker 4 (54:09):
Yeah, yeah, I got her card.
Speaker 1 (54:12):
Yeah, there it is Proxima. I don't know. I don't
have reading glasses. Proxy Proxy Dreams Art there, talk to
her there, Proxy Dreams Art, who's local here to Okaala.
You talk to your comic, local comic book broker.
Speaker 4 (54:27):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (54:27):
I was always but.
Speaker 4 (54:29):
Yeah, the Beard of Browncoat, they're the they're right on
the marquee beard of brown Coat. Comics and games that
support my local comic shop, those guys, and you know,
and I wanted to give a shout out to to
Dan and Corey. I've been texting them, sending them pictures
all weekend. I told them that we've been thinking about them,
and really a lot of how rebels you know, started
(54:49):
and Aaron started and I started marrying all that, and
so I just wanted to say hi to both of
them because they've been texting and they were so happy
that we're all together. You know, Dan's like, look, got
all those guys, they're they're having such a good time.
And so just shout out to Dan and Cory absolutely
and you know that.
Speaker 1 (55:07):
And I hear I hear him. I hear him yelling
at the top of his lungs right now. You know,
I got gotta give it, gotta give cred to to
to to Patty. Uh he I mean, he just killed
killed killed the stage this year, as he always does,
(55:27):
and he just kept the kept the flow going. Let
basically hosted fantastic panels. Oh great, he did a fantastic job.
So hats off to him and hopefully you'll be hearing
from him on the show at some point because we
would love to pick his brain about his con experiences.
(55:47):
Uh but yeah, overall, fantastic, fantastic con Okala Kama con.
Great job this year. Uh, looking forward to next year. Yeah,
I'm definitely looking forward to next year. We will we
will have to go ahead and put it on the
books for next year and uh plan on doing this again.
(56:10):
Any final thoughts before we wrap up and call it today.
Speaker 5 (56:15):
I'm just thankful for our Star Wars family. Just as
David and Aaron said, you know, a lot of us
got together, or most of us got together because of
coffee with Canoby and Dan's Air and Corey Club starting
that and Tom Gross being their wing man all these years,
and so you know, without that found family, I know,
(56:35):
Chaz and I wouldn't be able to do a lot
of the things that you know we've been able to do.
And and it's been a joy and a pleasure to
be able to share this time with all of them.
Speaker 4 (56:48):
And I was just in terms of final thoughts, Uh,
Mary nailed it. I'm so thankful for this time together.
I'm so thankful you and Chaz got up here. Both
days had some challenges earlier this morning on the turnpike.
We've all, Aaron and Mary and Chez and myself have
all dealt with the Florida Turnpike between Orlando and here
quite a bit. So so thankful for that. And then
(57:09):
Aaron got up for both days break got down and uh,
the Star Wars family, our found family, and just that
we had such a great time here. So we really
appreciate that, so.
Speaker 1 (57:20):
Absolutely absolutely so, yeah, we have a great Oh look
at that. Look at that.
Speaker 4 (57:33):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (57:35):
David is receiving Nika Fetterman's banner from her from her
autograph area. That is amazing.
Speaker 1 (57:46):
Nice, wow, nice.
Speaker 5 (57:49):
Nice ie scored it. I'm just grabbing a couple of
fair days real quick.
Speaker 1 (57:57):
Look at that. I'll send him that.
Speaker 5 (58:00):
Maybe they can share them with everybody.
Speaker 1 (58:05):
That is amazing. Look you there, look you there, Look
at there. David's going home with the ultimate souvenir, the
Nika Futterman banner for a official telecoma con banner. The
way they had hag over her thing over her table. Fantastic, fantastic.
(58:26):
We will have to definitely get some photos of David
with that, which we'll share. But dude, how does that
make you feel? Man? I was just trying to do
final comments.
Speaker 4 (58:37):
And my guy Jeremy there, he remembers us from yesterday.
He was one of the handlers for Nika. Really neat guy.
He made it run so smooth, made it so fun.
You meet guys like that, you know, and all these
all these guys did a great job, all these many women.
Speaker 1 (58:51):
And that was super cool to get a little banner
like this. So yeah, that's one and a million souvenir.
My friend an a million. That is that's incredible, That's incredible,
And uh, I got I got a text while we
were while you were doing your final thoughts that drag since,
(59:14):
which is why I started laughing. And uh he sent
the text saying there's a reactions Horse Capital sticker in
the works at some point. Uh. If you don't know
that has been a running yag for me and David
this weekend. Fine.
Speaker 4 (59:33):
Greg, Fine, this is the horse capital of the world,
and you guys will ultimately see it, particularly when Aaron
comes up here in October, November, December, January and sees
all the horses.
Speaker 1 (59:44):
Reale, you have yet to see a single horse since
I've been here. Yeah, I'm at the World I am
at the World Equestrian Center, and I have yet to
see a horse. I'm like I told him last night,
I'm beginning to think this is just them pulling a
University of Central Florida. But uh, no, no, no problem.
(01:00:05):

things up, make sure you check out, Uh, give us
a following all the socials. We'll be posting all the photos,
all the the videos and stuff that we've taken. Uh.
