Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hi, this is Danzy from coffee with Kenobi, and you
are listening to Star Wars Reactions. Elegant discussion for a
more civilized age.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
Aaron, you do it better, buddy. I did my best.
It's been awake your fat.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
In nineteen seventy seven, George Lucas formed a legacy. I
am inspired by mythology. His sokka has become a passion
for many. His legend has become our story, one of resistance, rebellion,

(00:43):
and redemption. I am like my father. This is Star
Wars Reactions.

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Remember we'll be with you always. Well, hello everybody, and
welcome to Star Wars Reactions. Actually, welcome to Saga World
Report for September twenty sixth, two thousand and twenty five.
That's right, we have a great episode for you today.

(01:11):
We're going to go through and hit on some of
the news that we haven't we've kind of missed over
the last couple of weeks. Of course, let's get introduction
out of the way. My name is Aaron Harris. I'm
one of the hosts here on Star Wars Reactions, and
for those of you that are new two Reactions, Saga
World Report is basically a news episode that we do

(01:33):
where we just recap some of the news that has
been happening in the world of Star Wars over the last,
in this case, couple of weeks, because we've been pretty busy,
so let's let's jump right into things here. Of course,
the week that we're of course, this week we're like
I said this for September twenty or September twenty sixth.

(01:55):
This week has been huge for Star Wars because we're
I've basically nicknamed it trailer Week because we got back
to back trailer releases this week, and these are going
to be fun to talk about. The first one that
was released was earlier this week, and this of course
was for the upcoming movie Star Wars, The Mandalorian and Grogu.

(02:22):
This is more of a teaser trailer, gives us some visuals,
not a lot of talking or anything like that. Actually,
I don't remember any talking, and I've watched it a
couple times. And this, of course is from May will
be released May twenty second, twenty twenty sixth of the
movie that is, but that is available right now on YouTube.

(02:42):
You can find the video on all of our socials
as well, and you can watch it and enjoy it. There.
It looks really good. Now, I'm not going to go
into a lot of detail talking about this because that's
something that in our next episode of Star Wars re Actions,
David and I are actually going to be sitting down

(03:03):
and discussing the teaser trailer for Mandalorian in Grogu. So
join us for that one. There we'll go into more
detail about what we saw, what we think is coming,
and so forth. It's gonna be really good. It's a
fun video. If you haven't seen it yet, watch it.
You know, never has so much been said with so little,

(03:27):
so very very exciting. The other trailer that was released
this week was actually for Star Wars Visions. The third
volume is coming out on October twenty ninth. I believe
it is, yes, October twenty ninth, so we're less than
a a little over a month away from that being released.

(03:51):
Of course, they gave us a whole bunch of information
about what to expect from the third volume as it
goes back to the Japanese roots of Season one. Actually
be a volume one into that bureau with those anime studios.
What's cool about them doing that, though, is they also

(04:12):
get to resurrect some of the stories from volume one
and continue telling stories with those characters. Three of which
they're doing that with, of course, is Lakara from the
Ninth Jedi f from the Village Bride. And what we'll
make David excited and happy is they're bringing back his

(04:33):
favorite character, Ronan from the episode The Duel. So those
will be coming out February on October twenty ninth, And
just to give you a brief idea of what to expect,
they gave us a list of all the studios the
episode names. They gave us a brief synopsis, as well

(04:54):
as the voice cast for the English and Japanese versions
of the pisodes. Now, that is a lot of information
to go through. It's all available there on Star Wars
dot com. I'm not going to read everything because that
I would be here all night and we're not gonna
do that. But I'm onlyst gonna let you know what

(05:15):
studios are making one episodes and let you know what
the synopsis says. Okay, So first up on the list
is the studios Kama Kazi Douga plus Anima. This will
be for the Dual. Payback is the name of the episode.
Snops us for this is with the help of some

(05:36):
unexpected allies, Ronan faces off against his greatest foe, a
twisted Jedi known as the Grand Master, who is bent
on revenge. That sounds pretty good, all right. Next up,
we have Studio Exsume Me Project Studio Q the episode

(06:00):
The Song of Four Wings. This episode's about a princess
heard rebel who protects a child from the might of
the Empire on a snowbound planet. Production LIG is the
next studio up, and they're bringing us the Ninth Jedi

(06:21):
Child of Hope. Pursued by Jedi hunters and blasted a
drift into space, Kara encounters a seemingly abandoned ship tended
by mysterious Droyd. That sounds interesting too. This one, I'm

(06:41):
actually very curious about. This one is by the studio
w I don't know if it's pronounced Wit Studios or
fitz Wit, but Witt Studios is giving us an episode
entitled The Bounty Hunters. This one is about a rogue
bounty hunter that takes on a job for a shady
industrialist that has unexpected consequences for her and her droid.

(07:08):
So that one does sound sound curious to me. I'm
kind of curious to see where that one goes. Now,
the next two episodes are actually by the same studio
Kenema citrus Co h They're doing two episodes in this volume.

(07:28):
They're doing Uko's Treasure, which is about a sheltered orphan
that teams up with a streaked rat kid to rescue
his droid caregiver and find a long lost treasure. Sounds
like a combination of Aladdin and Indiana Jones. There. The
second episode they're doing it is called the Lost Ones.

(07:50):
This one, of course, is a continuation from volume episode
of In volume one, after assisting refugees escape a natural disaster,
an incognito f is forced to confront the ghosts of
her past when their refugee ship is intercepted by the Empire.

(08:14):
Next up, the studio called Trigger is bringing us the Smuggler.
A desperate for a quick payday, a smuggler takes a
job to rescue a fugitive from the Empire. And of
course we have Polygon Studios which is bringing us some
so called Birds of Paradise. And this one is about

(08:37):
a hot headed Jedi padawan who is blinded in battle
and must undergo a series of spiritual trials in order
to overcome the temptation of the docs side into sting.
Now it's unique about this one. As one of the
voice members, I know I said I was gonna go

(08:57):
into all this, but one of the English voice casts
is by Star Trek and Clone Wars veteran George k Akaa,
Mister Sulu and last but not LEAs and probably what
sounds the most intriguing episode for me, what I'm looking
forward to seeing the most is by a production company

(09:18):
called David Production, no relation to David Martyrs that I'm
aware of. David Production is bringing us an episode called Black.
This episode is a psychedelic battle between past and present,
light and dark and life and death and plays out

(09:41):
in the haunted psyche of an Imperial trooper who's on
the cusp of defeat. See now, that one sounds interesting
and I'm really am interested to watch that one and
then pick David's brain about that, because you know our
David psychologist. Anytime there's a psychological drama, I want to

(10:05):
pick his brand about that one. Of course, this is
still going to be produced by James Wall, Josh Rhymes,
and Jackie Lopez Star Wars Visions Volume three will be
on Disney Plus exclusively October twenty ninth, twenty twenty five,

(10:25):
so be on the lookout for that. We will do
our own reactions to it when it's released, so be
on the lookout for those as well, and of course
you can always let us know what you think of
it when it's released as well, so check that out.
Next up on the list, have We're going to talk

(10:46):
about and Or for a bit? Season two of and
Or walked away with five Emmy Awards at the recent
Emmy Awards earlier this month. They were nominated for a
Whole Bunch, but walked away with five wins. They won
for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for the episode

(11:09):
Welcome to the Rebellion, written by Dan Gilroy. They won
for Outstanding Fantasy Sci Fi Costumes for the episode Harvest.
They won for Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative, Period
or Fantasy Program one hour or more. That is a

(11:30):
mouthful to read. That is for the episode who Are You?
Who are you? Sorry caravass squirrel Anyway. They also won
for Outstanding Picture Editing for a Drama Series for the

(11:50):
same episode who Are You. They also won for Outstanding
Special Visual Effects in a Season or a Movie, and ultimately,
last but not least, winner for Outstanding Sound Editing for
a Non Fiction or Reality Program. Those last two are

(12:12):
for the whole series, not for an individual episode, so
congratulations to the cast and crew of the of the
Series and or like I said, they were nominated for
a whole bunch more as well as The Acolyte was
nominated for two as well, so congrats to everybody on
their nominations. Congrats on the wins. Huge, huge day for

(12:37):
Lucasfilm at those last DEMI Awards earlier this month. Fantastic news.
Also last but not least for our episode. Before we
go into wrapping things up and closing things out, it

(12:58):
was announced via social media that the new upcoming Star
Wars movie, Star Wars Starfighter has started filming. They have
started filming off the coast of Sardinia, Italy in the Mediterranean. Yes,
that's right, I said it. They're filming in the Mediterranean

(13:20):
at sea. Director Sean Levy posted on his Instagram a
photo of the actors from the movie of Course, stars
Ryan Gosling and Flynn Gray. A picture of them on
out but appears to be out at sea. We're not

(13:40):
sure where they are, we're not sure what characters are playing.
We just know that production has started and it looks
like it's going to be great. The film is reportedly
set five years after the events of Rise of Skywalker,
so set the Army defeated, the Sith Fleet is defeated.

(14:03):
First Order is still out there, so he could see
some First Order ships show up and some First Order
troopers showing back up. So that could be interesting. But
it'll be fun to see now. Of course, this movie
is scheduled to be released Star Wars Starfighter on May
twenty eighth of two thousand and twenty seven. This, of course,

(14:28):
will have visual effects done by ILM, and of course
the movie will be co starring Mia goth Aaron Pierre
Simon Byrd, Jamal Westman, Daniel Ings and Amy Adams and
the second Best doctor Matt Smith. Yes, I said it,

(14:49):
what you're gonna do, just kidding. I liked Matt Smith.
He was a great doctor. If you know what I'm
talk about, I'm talking about doctor who. I know it's
off topic, but Matt Smith was a doctor. He's still
the second best. Everyone knows. David Tennant was the best AnyWho.
If you don't like that message, David, he'll let me

(15:10):
hear about it. Trust me, I'm pretty sure he will.
H I crack me up sometimes met any who. That
pretty much wraps up the news that we have for
this week. Of course, as we come out with more news,

(15:31):
we will let you know and we will talk about
that as time goes on. Like I said, for our
very next episode that we will be doing, David and
I will be sitting down and breaking down and sharing
our reactions to the Mandalorian and Grow Group trailer. We
may even discuss the Visions teaser trailer there as well.

(15:53):
Actually the Mando Grow Groups the teaser trailer. You may
talk about the Visions trailer. I don't know, we'll see,
but I do. We're definitely talking about Mandalorian and Grogu,
so that's coming up. Then after that, of course we'll
be talking it. We'll be doing our reviews of the
Lego Star Wars Build the Galaxy episodes from Pieces of

(16:16):
the Past, the new ones that were just released as well,
and of course we'll go back and do the original too,
because we haven't done the original one. So yeah, we
got some catching up to do there. That's what happens
when you have a crazy year that keeps you from
doing stuff. But we got a lot happening and it's
going to be great. A lot of great things coming
