Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, fly, guys and girls, this is Ross Hollivan a
phanto tracks, and you're listening to Aaron and David, the
heroes of Star Wars Reactions. Elegant discussion for a more
civilized age.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
There's been annoy your father.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
In nineteen seventy seven, George Lucas formed a legacy being
I am inspired by mythology. His saga has become a
passion for many. His legend has become our story, one
of resistance.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
We are at a like.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Rebellion and redemption.
Speaker 4 (00:42):
I am deject father.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
This is Star Wars Reactions.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
Remember the course we'll do with you always.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Well, hello everybody, I'm welcome to Star Wars Reactions. We
are so glad you're joining us. And uh we were
going to have a little bit of a different episode
this week because it you'll understand why here shortly. Uh
So let's get some introductions out of the way. My
(01:14):
name is Aaron Harris. I'm one of the hosts here
at Star Wars Reactions and joining me as my friend,
my pal, my brother in the force. The David Mothers
David brother.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Was a was that my brother?
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:33):
I'm just here recording again with you excited to do it,
you know, after a long year. It's just it's been
so enjoyable to record again on a consistent basis, and
uh and to do that with you and we hopefully
our our friends and other listeners to enjoy. And I'm
(01:55):
ready to react, ready to talk and just have a
good conversation with you.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Absolutely, absolutely so. This this episode's, like we said, it's
going to be a little bit different than our normal
normal episodes where we're reacting stuff. This of course is
going to be if we had the title of the episode,
which there will be a title on it, where basically
this is going to be a storm reactions. Look back,
(02:28):
we're recording this October ninth, twenty twenty five. It's about
nine o'clock, about quarter after nine pm on the East
coast of the United States at the time we're recording this,
and twelve months ago at this exact time, I was
(02:50):
David and I both were in the midst of Hurricane Milton,
which came through central Florida and wrecked a lot of
people's worlds and caused a lot of chaos. And uh,
it literally, if you look at our our history, knocked
(03:11):
knocked us off the air for a while it docked.
UH at least knocked me off the air for a while.
I know you jumped in with with some friends of
ours Greg and Anthony and Mary and UH and and
UH Colby and and some others who jumped in to
help us out and record a few episodes for us.
(03:34):
But UH, twelve months ago tonight UH started, you know, Honestly,
I think I put it in our group chat earlier, David. Honestly,
I dubbed I've pretty much dubbed the last twelve months
of the year of l UH, kind of ripping it
from us from the title of a UH Star Trek
(03:57):
Voyager two part UH episode, but because it literally has been.
For those of you new to the show that doesn't
know what's happened over the last twelve months, Milton hit
and completely. It completely turned my family's life upside down.
(04:23):
Our house flooded, We lost a lot, and we lived
in a house without walls, without floors and doors. We
had no doors and we were living on concrete slabs
and stuff for about ten months. It took about ten
months to get everything back and together, and we're about
(04:48):
ninety i'd say about ninety eight percent houses about ninety
eight percent restored. At this point, we're missing a closet door,
the closet doors and uh door for the hall closet,
and just little knick knacks here and there that need
to be touched up and finished, but pretty much back
(05:11):
intact and through all that. I know, like I said,
it was, it wasn't just that. A lot that happened.
My mom got sick, my mom passed away, and it
was just twelve months of just complete and total insanity,
(05:33):
to say the least. And I know it was David.
You came down from Ocalla, the horse capital of the world.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
I have sorry, we got to have some humor in
uh in this yeah difficult.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
The horseless cat pittle of the world. I have yet
to see a horse there. I'm sorry, and I'm going
to ride this horse till I beat it. Beating a
dead horse here, aren't I.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
There's too much material for you. It's too easy. It's
too easy, I know.
Speaker 4 (06:20):
But anyway, you came down from Okalla just days after
the storm. It came through on a Friday, Thursday, and
Friday was Thursday night into Friday the ninth into the tenth,
(06:40):
and you came down on the twelfth and brought a
generator and brought some stuff down to help us out,
which was at the time, I was just I was
I'm still still looking back at everything that that happened.
I'm it's still my mind still at a loss at everything.
(07:05):
But you got to see the devastation firsthand when you
came down, and when you came down, we had a
house full of people from our church that came in
and were just trying to get the wet stuff out
to at least save what we can because we didn't.
The longer the wet stuff, the wet flooring and the
(07:26):
wet wall stayed in place, the greater chance of mold
and everything. And my wife is deathly allergic to mold,
and so it literally, in a matter of hours, we
went from a soaking wet house, intact house to a
soaking wet house without walls, doors, or floors.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Or electricity.
Speaker 4 (07:49):
Electricity. Yeah, we had the electricity because you brought us
a generator, which was a huge blessing, and it was
it's still it's still hard to to discuss and comprehend
wrap my head around everything that happened, even though it
(08:13):
has been twelve months. It's hard to believe I was
sitting at work today and looking at the calendar and
knowing I went to bed last night knowing today was
the one year. Yeah, I went to bed knowing today
was the one year anniversary of the hurricane, and yesterday
(08:34):
the eighth was the six month anniversary of when my
mom passed. So it was literally back to back memories
hitting hitting hard. But you know, we sit here and
we're back behind the MIC's regular as more regularly now
(08:57):
than what because I was out for months, and I
legit was out for months, and there were months we
went without shows, and we did have some great people.
I know, Greg jumped in, Greg McLoughlin, our pal, jumped
in head first, trying to keep some content out there
(09:21):
for us, and it was awesome spearheading a few episodes
there for us, which was a blessing, and he got
some great guests on and did some great things for us.
And then of course, I guess a lot of people
were reaching out in this touching base and trying to
(09:44):
keep trying to encourage and stuff, and it I don't, honestly,
you know, I don't. I'm getting tongue tied here because
my mind is going a thousand different directions and just
trying to put together what what all happened and where
(10:13):
how we got I honestly, sitting here, I still can't
tell you how we got from point A to point
B at this time because just looking back everything is
it was just so insane. And but and I'm not
saying this just to woe is me stuff, because I
(10:35):
could if I wanted to woe as me you, I
could go into a lot of a lot of detail
and a lot And now that's not my intention. My
intention is to make a point that if it wasn't
for friends and fam our friends and family, things would
(10:58):
be very different today. And that's what that's why this
Star Wars community is so important to me because we
have you, David, we have Greg Mary h. Daz Over
in Wales, and Anthony King jumped in yes yeah, yeah, uh.
(11:27):
But so many people just kind of stepped up to
the plate and either for helping record episodes. But Christina
Stevenson from Australia was mess just just the messages. Well
there's just random messages here. Messages there, text messages, phone calls, uh,
(11:53):
Facebook posts, d ms, Hey how you doing or thinking
about you? Keep your chin up. The encouragement and the
love I got from our this Star Wars family helped
keep me going. And I can't tell you how many
times I was in my lowest of lows where I
(12:20):
had been and you don't even know this, David. There
were days where I would just be lying in bed
and Shannon was at work, the girls were at school,
I had taken a half day or something just too
that I would just lie in bed and just you know,
(12:43):
ball my eyes out because I did not know what
to do. And there would be and during those times
I would and it would be days like that, and
there were a couple of them that that that happened,
and I'd be lying there, just trying figure out, and
all of a sudden my phone would shine and there'd
(13:06):
be a text from you. There'd be a text from Gregor,
or a message from Daz over in Wales. I can't
tell you how many times he messaged me just to hey,
how you doing, thinking about you, how you're holding up.
And it was those things that got me going again,
(13:29):
oh wow, and picked me up from my bootstraps, put
me back on the road, and kept pushing me forward.
Because if if I did not have this Star wars family.
I wouldn't. I don't know if I'd have had the
strength to pick pick pick us all back up and
get us going again, because between between the storm and
(13:53):
the house being devastated, and then being out of state
for two almost three months, while with my mom sick
and then passing, I was I didn't know what to do.
I mean, I was, I couldn't do anything. And there's
(14:18):
nothing more helpless. There's nothing worse than that feeling of helplessness.
And I felt that a lot over the last year,
and y'all, y'all really did something for me, and it
really made a difference and a lot I asked. The
(14:41):
main purpose of what I wanted to say in this
episode was just thank you. Thank you for just being
there for us, thank you for caring, thank you for
your support, thank you for the encouragement, for the pets
(15:03):
on the back, for the long distance hugs. Yeah, that that,
you know, really really made a difference. And I can't
thank everybody enough for that.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
Well I would, I'd say this, you know, when you
you were going through all that and we weren't on
you know, for a long time, you know, we really
talked about family first. We've always said it. We've done
it prior to your mom's stuff and your house. You know,
I was you were flying up to Alabama. I was
(15:42):
flying to Michigan, you know that for a number of years,
trying to clean all that up with my dad's passing
in then my mom's and of course you held down
the ford through that old thing. And uh and we've
always done that. And you know, something I was going
to say is that, you know, do a little psychology
(16:04):
corner here that might help our listeners. Is and you
were hitting on an air and is that you know,
we all it's like when does it hit right? When
do we have And I was talking to a client
about this earlier today at the office. You know, when
when are our coping mechanisms outstripped right, our ability to cope?
And you said you feel helpless. There's so much that
(16:26):
happened to your house. I saw it, you know, like
you said, within days I'm down there. The water was
still so high around Lakeland and you know, all of
Polk County was unbelievable seeing that. But for anybody listening,
any man or woman of any age, when you get
stressed beyond your coping abilities, you know it all happens.
(16:50):
I've had it happen, You've had it happen. If our
listeners haven't had it happen, unfortunately, they will at some
point because they live on planet Earth. I don't want
that for them, for you, for any of us, but
it's going to happen if you live on this planet.
And so when that does happen, it is critical for
us to have support systems. And you know, not just
(17:15):
like you said, Aaron, with your family, but this Star
Wars family and how much we love you and and
you know, these are just such good people in the
Star Wars community. And I know when my coping mechanisms
have been outstripped that have my family to help. And
then you know our Star Wars friends, and it's another support.
(17:35):
It's scaffolding, right, we talk about this scaffolding. It's support
and we need it because again, we're all going to
deal with times where our coping mechanisms are outdone by
the stressors. And so I'm so thankful that you and
I are part of this Star Wars community that's helped me,
(17:57):
but most importantly helped you.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely, it's yeah, it's something that you know,
we don't ever want to see anybody else go through.
It's I was talking to somebody at work today and
he's like, I was actually I was talking to my
boss today at work and because he knew it was
the year, and he came up and he's like, how
(18:22):
you doing. He's like, it's been a year. I want
to check in on you, see how you're doing. I'm like,
that's it's here. He's like, you know, he's like and
he was like, you know, knock on wood, nobody. We
don't get hit any we don't get hit this year.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
And I'm like, like, I don't want to, like knock
on knocking, knock on wood. I'm like, I'm just praying.
Like honestly, I don't know if I can handle hurricane
this year, after last, after the past twelve months. I'm like,
I don't know if I could, if I could deal
with I mean, if it came through, I would have to,
but you know, it's I really don't want to have
(19:02):
to deal with it, unfortunately. But you know, I I
know if it did, I'll be okay, we'll be okay.
But you know, it's just one of those things that
it has been. It has been a long road and
I wanted to tell everybody thank you and let you
(19:26):
know where we were at, you know, because it has
been when we start, when we started recording back trying
to come back regularly. After probably a month, after month
or two after Mom passed, I was still I mean,
the house was still devastated. We had to have a
(19:49):
simbilance of privacy. And where the walls were cut out,
my wife had put Christmas wrapping paper up and wrapped
it around the walls. That way you couldn't see straight
through into the bedroom, so we'd have a semblance of privacy.
And had uh bought sheets and pinned them up to
the door so the doorframe, so you could have some
(20:11):
kind of privacy. But it was but we're we're, like
I said, when it comes to the house and everything,
we're we're back almost one hundred. We're about ninety eight
percent back to where it was before the storm. Everybody's
health is good, everybody's doing well. The furniture has been
(20:36):
replaced and things back to as about as back to
normal as it could go. So so the material side, material,
the physical material side is is taken care of. And
I'm not going to sit here and say the mental
journey is not done because it's not I'm gonna be
(21:02):
I don't. I don't see me wrestling through this anytime soon,
because that there are good days, there are bad days,
and they're there. I mean nothing. I mean the last
I'll stay here in flat out to you. The last
two days have not been good days. I won't deny that.
(21:24):
But you know, my family has gotten me through. David
Mary Purdue Gray Dads are our group. Chat has gotten
me through. We've had off, cracked me up. Uh, of course,
Greg's we're recording it. Greig's on his way back from Milan.
(21:45):
Spent spent what a week in Milan? He was over there,
and uh, seeing pictures of Milan and stuff, and and
of course I am I'm sorry, but I do have
to randomly ask if you had seen any horses. It's
I'm never gonna let that go, David.
Speaker 2 (22:04):
No, it's it's it's here forever.
Speaker 4 (22:08):
I will say. You know, back in the day, in
the early years of another podcast, not one of ours,
but another podcast I used to listen to. They used
to talk about every episode they would review of the
Clone Wars. They would be like, oh, what's the Trade
(22:29):
Federation guy?
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Oh, Gun Ray.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
Yeah, nuke gun Ray at the beginning. At the end
of every episode, they they would be like, nuke Gun
Ray was not in this episode. Again at the end
of every episode. And if you if you know that,
you probably if you've listened to Star Wars podcasts a
long time, you know what show I'm talking about. But
they would always do that, So I honestly thought about
saying it. I've done another week of not saying a
(22:54):
horse in Okalla, but I've excited not to foregow that
since I torture you with the dad joke of the week.
You know it's enough, I know, right, But but yeah,
it's it's we're getting there. The journey is. The journey
is still ongoing, but I wanted to at least let
(23:16):
y'all know that we are We're getting places, you know, houses,
houses that I'm actually in the middle of trying to
assemble my office slash reaction studio. It's it's it's coming,
it's coming along. I'm just sorting through because when we
(23:37):
packed everything up after the hurricane, it was not a
quick it wasn't a organized let's put this in this box,
this in this box. It was a arm on the shelf,
slide it across and shove and everything just falls in
the box and you close it. So I'm having I
got like twenty boxes I'm sorting through. Okay, I need this,
(23:59):
need that, don't need this, Let's put it in, reorganize
and actually packing stuff up because you know, previous incarnations
of the studio had six seven bookcases to display stuff on.
I will have three, so I can't display as much
(24:20):
as I used to. So it's a matter of picking
and choosing what I'm going to display when it comes
to the collection and go from there. But we're getting
we're moving, We're moving. And of course as soon as
the Reaction Studio is done, there will be a video
tour nice so don't so be on the lookout for that.
(24:45):
I'll probably probably will be toward the end of October,
maybe early November before you see that, because I still
got a lot of work and I can only do
it on weekends when I'm off of work because I'm
too busy during the rest of the week. So tis
what it is. So anyway, that.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Was that was a good update. Man, that was a
good update.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
Yeah, it was a good update. So I wanted to
share because this family means a lot to me and
I appreciate y'all and wanted to to share because y'all
have done a lot to support us. So so with
that being said, you know, we're not going to just
(25:31):
have a melancholy episode and be done with it. We're
still going to talk a little bit of Star Wars,
a little bit of lucasfilm. We got a voicemail, It
actually came in about a month ago, right before Okalla
Comic Con came through and all that from our good
(25:55):
friend Daniel Contreras, and he had an interesting question which
we're gonna let y'all listen to. And then David and
I are going to discuss our thoughts there and I've
I've got I've got got some interesting ideas. But let's
let's play this and uh see what we got you ready,
(26:18):
I'm ready? Here we go.
Speaker 7 (26:23):
Hi David, Hi Aaron. This is Daniel from Southern California calling.
I had a question. You guys both live in central Florida,
and I thought this would be kind of a fun
question for you guys. Uh, giving your proximity to all
those theme parks, if you were granted the wish of
changing any single thing park into a into a Lucasfilm
(26:44):
focused like a Lucas Land or Lucas World, any park,
Disney Universal, anyone, and uh, you could do it to
Star Wars. You could add Indiana Jones, it could be
any of the Luke Redtails, Howard the Duck even and
you were to basically use the same layout, the same
(27:05):
ride systems, but just transform it into Star Wars or
Lucasfilm themed, you know, rides and experiences and stuff. Which
theme park do you think you would choose to make
that happen? Yeah, so it could be outside of Florida too,
if you if you have knowledge of the other theme parks,
(27:25):
But I thought your guys' location would would be You
guys would be like a great group, a great show
to pitch this too. So yeah, I just think about it.
It'd be kind of a fun exercise. I'd love to
hear kind of how you would transform it into the
Lucasworld or Lucasland theme park. Okay, talk to you later.
Speaker 4 (27:49):
All right. First off, thank you Daniel for sending that in,
and thank you for your patients while we waited. We
responded because I know it took us a little bit
to get to it. But yeah, very interesting premise. Any
theme park turned into Lucas World, Yeah, what would it be?
Speaker 2 (28:17):
Do you have some ideas? I have a little bit.
Maybe you have an idea or some ideas.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
I would say Universal Studios, okay, the uh Universal Studios.
Here's why, because Universe would I would start with uh,
Harry Potter World, because they have green Gots there, the
bank and everything. I would turn Green Gots the I
(28:48):
would turn Harry Potter World into Indiana Jones World, the
Green Goots coaster, under the Greencots coaster through the thing
that would be perfect for a Raiders of the Lost
Dark or not Rachel Lost Dark, Temple of Doom.
Speaker 5 (29:07):
My car ride.
Speaker 4 (29:10):
I think that would be perfect. I think that would
be great. So that that's where I would go. Then
of course you have uh Simpson World, which would you
could eat or actually back up from Simpson's World, let's
go over to the kid area, sous the area that's
(29:34):
turning into Young Jedi Adventure complete Young Jedi Adventure. UH
will take uh the Simpson World, uh turn it into
I would turn I would turn that into Clone Wars Land. Oh,
(30:00):
a Clone Wars themed area up up front where they
have the doctor doom Drop and the that would turn
into Lothal. Doctor's doom Shrop would be the perfect tower
Ezra's communication.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
That would be perfect. Dude, that's awesome.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
And I'm running blank because I don't know all the
worlds that Universal has now, so I can't go like, like,
I know, they used to have ET and they used
to have stuff like that. I don't I'm going to
age myself here. The last time I was at Universal Studios,
(30:43):
my daughter was My daughter was an infant. She's currently eighteen.
So it's been it's been it's been eighteen seventeen years,
eighteen years since I've been at Universal Studios. So I'm
basing this on stuff that I've seen in videos and
stuff I've seen online because I have not been there.
(31:05):
It's not that I haven't wanted to go. Yeah, it
wasn't a pri it's never really been a priority. But
at the same point, you know, you know, between between
the cost of a day ticket versus other things, it's
not been a priority. But but yeah, I would go
(31:28):
with Universal and turn it to there. I think that
would be great. Wow, Honestly, that's where I would go.
Do some Indiana Jones do do some some Star Wars
all over the place. I mean, man, you can even
(31:53):
mm hmm, I'm sure. I'm sure I could sit here
and really crank out some more stuff. What do you think,
sir Well?
Speaker 2 (32:01):
I was thinking about individual rides. I really like how
you took the whole thing, and like Daniel was saying, like,
take a park and transform it into Lucas World, you know,
or and Lucas World would yeah, you'd have some Indiana
Jones and and Star Wars like. I was, gosh, you know,
I know they're going to transform the dinosaur ride at
(32:23):
Animal Kingdom, right, one of the four main parks here
here at Walt Disney World. They're gonna try to, you know,
make it. You know, they got the ride system that
they have out in Disneyland for Temple to Forbidden. I
but that's kind of the only only ride there. I
(32:47):
don't know. I was just thinking they've got the Khalie
River rapids there. Now my brain is starting to go,
like you could have a river ride like kind of
like when Indian and I think going back to Temple
to Doom, it seem like him in short round and
all of them are. Of course they're going down snowing
on that too, but like some kind of you know water,
(33:08):
they go down into water too, though, don't they buy
the end of it? It feels like but oh, I
know you have the oh my gosh. I just was
thinking about Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I guess I've
kind of gone off as Star Wars, but I was
trying to think if they could do a lot of that.
They've got the gosh you'd have to do. You know,
(33:30):
they've got the big Killiman Jarl Safari back there with
the trucks. Could you make that into you know, the
one that you see, you know, where Indie and Maryon
are in it and then their son is swinging through
the vines on Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. But I
don't know. I guess I just I got pulled over
there my brain starts to whirl. But I was I
(33:53):
was going back to Hollywood Studios, you know, because you
already have the foundations there, right, you have the Indiana
Jones stunt spectacular, right, that's been there for a long
long time, right, and of course you got Star Tours,
(34:14):
and then you've got Galaxy's Edge back there. But I
was just trying to in my mind's eye, visualize what
could you do, like well, Tower of Terror. I thought
about like what you had mentioned with uh, you know,
Doctor Doom's free Fall, and I've been on that. But
you can make something kind of similar with Tower of Terror,
right up and down, up and down, Star Wars, Demen Rebels, Steamen.
(34:38):
Trying to think of other stuff. They you know, they
replaced the Great Movie Ride with Minny and Mickey's Runaway Rail,
which is so good now. Piggybacking off what you said,
you could make that a Young Jedi Adventures, uh, a
little fun ride and and and I'm trying to remember
(35:00):
the name of the ship that the Young jedis fly
around in there. But you know, you could have something
like that. They could be on Tenew that's the planet
they're on, and have a little adventure in there. Wor else.
Of course, you got Toy story Land back there. You
change Slinky Dog into some kind of ride like you
(35:25):
can make it. You can make it like a pod racer,
like you know, versus you're sitting in Slinky Dog. That'd
be kind of fun and you're shooting around because there's
a spot where you speed up, you know, on that ride,
and that could be real fun for the kids. And
then I was thinking about Toy Story Mania, which is
such a hit, and you could theme that in there
(35:46):
with you know how each time you stop and you shoot,
like you shoot pies at the different targets or you
throw darts at the balloons or whatever, and you could
theme that out to one's Clone War Ones resistance. You know,
you and I had a resistance. You could you mentioned
a little bit earlier, but you could you could really
(36:09):
make that a lot of fun, like maybe something on
Coroussant something where you're I don't know, just trying to
get as many I don't know, well, no, I just
backed up, you know, I just going back to rebels
you could do and throw as many Yogan fruit or
MELEEU runs at you know stormtroopers, you know, like zeb
(36:32):
and ezraduced. So you know, just trying to just do
this off the top of my head where I'm trying
to run through all the different ride systems there, you
know at Hollywood Studios. And like I said, you already
have a really strong start with the Indiana Jones presence
and the galaxies Edge presence there. So just some.
Speaker 4 (36:55):
Thoughts, absolutely, definitely some thoughts and either way, it would
be fun to see something like that happen. But it's
also been fun trying to think brainstorm about it too.
I will admit I had a few more days than
David to think about it, which but it was a
(37:18):
great it's it's a it's a good idea, and I
appreciate sending that in Daniel because it actually it was
fun to discuss. You know, it'd be interesting. I would
love to hear what some of y'all think about that.
What if there was a park out there, a theme
park out there that you would want to see converted
into Lucasville, Yeah, George, Lucas World, Lucasfilm World, Lucasfilm Studios,
(37:45):
whatever you want to call it. What, what would it be?
What would y'all? What would y'all do with it? That
would be interesting to to hear and see what happens.
So I don't know, so let us know. I mean,
you can leave us a voicemail, just like Daniel did
it speakpipe dot com at Star Wars reaction. Excuse me,
(38:08):
speakpipe dot com slash Star Wars reactions. Or of course,
if you don't want to leave a voicemail, you can
type it out and send it through email at SW
Reactions at gmail dot com, or you can do the
whole social media thing and you can either post it
(38:28):
or dm us either way, Facebook and x or SW
Reaction spot everywhere else Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, threads, Blue Sky Tumblr,
it's all SW reactions. We would love to definitely hear
from you and hear your thoughts on this as well. So, David,
(38:51):
if somebody wants to talk to Star Wars with you,
my friend, how would they go about doing that?
Speaker 2 (38:55):
Absolutely true? Three ways, I guess. The first one is
at Twitter x, it's at even Underscore Motors, also Instagram.
Just look for my name David Matters. And then if
you send anything to the Star Wars Reactions socials, Aaron
gets those and he's always forwarded those to me when
(39:16):
they come in. So those are three pretty easy ways.
Speaker 4 (39:19):
Absolutely, those are very easy ways for you to do it.
And of course you can hit me up. Of course,
like David said, I'll be on the opposite of any
message you sent through our social media. You can hit
me up there, or of course you can hit me
up on my personals. That would be Tia Harris twelve
ten seventy nine on x and Instagram as well. So
(39:43):
there we go, and of course we will be back
next week with our regularly scheduled shows. Not next week,
we're actually going to be jumping back in time to
September twenty four as David and I sit down and
discuss and share our reactions and thoughts to the lego
(40:10):
Star Wars Rebuild the Galaxy series. We're going to hit
the first series that came out last year next week.
Then after that and a week or two we will
hit up part two that was just released, Pieces of
the Galaxy. So a lot of great things coming up
here on Star Wars Reactions. We got Visions Volume three
(40:32):
coming out, which we're looking forward to. So yeah, a
lot of great things happen, a lot of great things coming,
so stay alert, stay on your toes.
Speaker 5 (40:42):
So David, oh, we're in in the show, right, We're done, We're.
Speaker 4 (40:53):
Done, we're ending, we're wrapping things up exactly exactly we
have we're going to end it. We're going to end it.
That's right, and we're going to end it exactly how
we always end it. My friend, you can't escape.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
That's a trap, literally literally.
Speaker 4 (41:14):
Literally we are of course, going to end it with
a Star Wars Dad joke of the week, because it's
not Star Wars reaction without a Star Wars Dad joke
of the week. So here we go. Are you ready?
Speaker 2 (41:29):
I am ready, not as ready as you can be.
Huh that's right.
Speaker 4 (41:34):
So here we go. Where did it go? I just
lost it? There it is? What do you call a
sith lord who likes to go fishing?
Speaker 2 (41:44):
Oh? Oh, what do you call a sith lord that
likes to go fishing?
Speaker 4 (41:50):
Darth waditer?
Speaker 2 (41:53):
Oh my, that is so bad. Oh grown, growns, all
kinds of growth on the galaxy.
Speaker 4 (42:06):
Ah, I just found that. I just I just found.
Next week, I just found I just found a future
one as well. Okay, this one's good. This one's good.
Speaker 2 (42:17):
There's there's too much material out there for you, dude.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
I know there is, I know there is. Oh it's
a great, great time. So, David, my friend, thank you
so much for this unconventional episode this week. I appreciate it, absolutely,
absolutely so, And thank you everybody for tuning in. We
we appreciate you. We love y'all. Y'all are the best.
(42:43):
You are our truly family. Uh, and we don't say
that just to say that we mean it. Y'all are
our Star Wars family, and we never truly understand how
much we we appreciate y'all. So remember to go out
and do something kind for somebody that week. Like I said,
throughout this episode, of your kindness got me through the
(43:04):
past year, and I'll never be able to repay that.
So all I ask is that you go out and
continue to spread that kindness to other people as well.
So remember this is your place for elegant discussion for
more civilized age.
