Trail is about a fifteen minute drivefrom her home and as a four point
five mile out and back trail nearVictor, Montana. This trail is rated
madly complex and is frequented by hikers. It offers a breathtaking view of Bear
Creek and the surrounding mountains and bothstunning wildflowers. Donna woke up feeling unwell

on the morning of the hike anddecided not to join However, Barbara and
Jim still wanted to go, soaround eight thirty or nine am, Barbara
informed her husband Carl that she andJim were going to the overlook and would
return later for lunch. Carl thenspent the morning working on a carpentry project.
Nanna grew concerned around noon when sherealized that Barbara and Jim had not

returned from the hike. However,Carl reassured her that Barbara was an avid
and experienced hiker who knew the areawell, so there was no need to

his wife missing, Karl rushed tothe Bear Creek Overlooked trail hoping to find
her. However, she was nowhereto be found. Jim Bramiker reported that

he and Barbara hiked the entire BearCreek overlook and stopped for lunch. During
their hike, they encountered two youngmen on the trail and spoke to them
for about half an hour. Afterfinishing their meal, Jim and Barbara started
to head back to the trailhead.At one point, Jim stopped to admire
the view and looked back for aroundforty five seconds. When he turned back

around, he discovered that Barbara,who had been walking ahead of him by
about twenty or thirty feet, hadvanished. Despite calling her name and searching

area had loose shale rock, whichwould have made it difficult for anyone to

help, which made it less likelythat Barber had fallen over the overlook.
Jim eventually gave up his search andheaded back to the trailhead. However,
he found that the road leading tothe trailhead was closed for maintenance that day.
And construction workers were there. Jimbriefly described Barbara to them and asked

if they had seen her, butthey said they had not. However,
the workers did recall seeing two youngmen with a black and white dog leave
the trail earlier. Jim reported Barbaramissing shortly after this. After two weeks

August sixth, twenty fourteen, fiftyone year old Avid hiker Arvin Walter Nelson

was dropped off by a friend atChina Camp near Tassahara Road, high and
deep in the Los Padres National Forest. Arvin had lived in the Big Sur
area for years and was familiar withthe surrounding wilderness areas. He was possibly
en route to Pine Valley Pine Fallsfor the Black Cone Trail. Arvin was
supposed to finish his hike at BigSear Station from Sikes and the Pine Ridge

Trail and contact his friends on Augustfourteen. When Arvin failed to arrive at
the Big Sear station on August fourteen, as expected, a massive search and
rescue operation was initiated. On Augustsixteen, the Monterey County Sheriff's Department,

and the Coastguard, scoured the areawith helicopters, dogs, and ground crews.
Despite their best efforts, the searchand rescue operation was unsuccessful in finding
Arvin. Sadly, authorities were forcedto call off the search for Arvin on

an accomplished mountaineer from Albuquerque, NewMexico, was going for his forty

seventh summit of a fourteen er bysolo climbing either Pyramid Peak, Maroon Peak,
or North Maroon Peak or possibly allthree in the White River National Forest
in Aspen, Colorado. Dave,a former marine with a wealth of experience
in the back country, was wellquipped for this trip. Unfortunately, when
Dave failed to return home, hisfamily immediately knew something was wrong. His

wife, Marine described Dave as akind and caring person who wouldn't just leave
his family. Dave was reported missingto the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday,
September twenty twenty sixteen. During theinvestigation, deputies learned that Dave arrived
at the Maroon Bells Snow Mass Wildernessarea shortly after eleven am on Monday,
(09:28):
September nineteenth. Dave was seen onMonday September nineteenth hiking near the trail to
Maroon Peak. Additionally, Dave's cellphone ping cell towers and Aspen and Gunson
Counties later on Monday. The Sheriff'soffice said is not unusual for cell phones
and high elevations to ping sell towersfrom the wilderness. Dave was also reported

to have been seen on Tuesday morningby a US Forest Service employee near Maroon
Lake, the last confirmed sighting ofhim. This sighting and other details directed
search teams to focus their effort inthe Maroon Bell's snow Massed Wilderness area.
After eight days of searching with noresults, the Pitkin County Sheriff's Office suspended

and on Alaska, Washington. Hewas an avid out doorsman and was always
in good shape. He loved spendinghis weekends in the wilderness, but always
remembered to keep in touch with hisfamily and co workers. Delmert was also
known to make last minute changes tohis plans, but he always informed those

who needed to know. Therefore,it was highly unusual when he went missing
and didn't show up for work.His family and friends knew that something was
wrong and began to worry. Onthe weekend of March four in two thousand
and five, Delmert planned a RESTfultrip to the woods. According to witnesses,
he was seen at a gas stationaround eleven am on March four at

the intersection of Interstate five and Harrisonin Centralia, Washington. Is believed that
delmer then continued his journey to Tillamook, Oregon. However, three days passed
without any contact from delmer and whenhe failed to show up for work,
his employer reported him missing. Apress release by The Chronicle reported that an
employee at the Chehalis Walmart failed toshow up for work. The Lewis County

Sheriff's office was notified the situation.The article also mentions that the employee,
delmer had never taken an unexcused absencein the fifteen years he'd worked at Walmart.
As a result, the Lewis CountySheriff's Office launched an investigation and initiated

the police would obtain their first clue. Elmer told his friends that he planned
to travel to Tillamook, Oregon,over the weekend of March fourth, two

Dan had entered the park with hisloyal dog to search for el candlers.

On that day, Dan had enteredYelstone National Park and was dropped off
with his one year old Australian shepherdhealer mix named Freckles at the hell Royin
Creek trailhead. Unfortunately, this wasthe last time anyone saw or heard from

and a search and rescue effort waslaunched. According to sources, Dan only

packed a small amount of gear ashe did not plan on staying in the
park for law. As the weatherchanged and thunderstorms rolled in, concerns about
his safety and well being grew.Despite being experienced outdoorsmen with extensive knowledge and
pole cutting, Dan stood a littlechance against the elments without proper equipment and
clothing. During the search, authoritiesfailed to uncover any sign of Dan or

Freckles, which led his family tobelieve that he had met with foul play.
In the months after his disappearance,Dan's brother Billy Campbell told the Helena
