Speaker 1 (00:00):
What if everything we're seeing in congressional UFO hearings is
just orchestrated. Theater journalist Ross Coulthard just dropped some very
interesting information about the September ninth hearing, calling the public
UAP sessions a dog and pony show, and then information
on Weaponize is also coming into play in all of this.

(00:22):
As always, you can find the sources in my detailed
articles at ufonews dot Co along within the description box below.
Hey you fologers. I'm Christina Gomez and welcome to this
episode of UFO News Updates. Today we're breaking down two
pretty explosive new revelations from two different news sources that
expose the vast gap between what Congress actually knows and

(00:45):
what they can tell us.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
To some degree, the the public hearings are a dog
and pony show. You know, we're being shown and told
what we're allowed to be told. There's a hell of
a lot more that's known about inside the private skiffs,
the secure skiffs inside the Congress where briefings have been
given congressmen and senators. Congressional representatives and senators know a

(01:09):
hell of a lot more public privately than they do
or can talk about publicly.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
That was ross on the latest reality check. And here's
what we know about the confirmed September ninth uf OF hearing.
Congressman Eric Berlason has officially announced witnesses, all described as
first hand witnesses. And we're talking about a former US
Air Force veteran discussing five UAP incidents, a Navy officer

(01:35):
with direct UAP encounters, and another Air Force officer with
first hand experiences. At least hopefully they come forward, they
give their testimony, and they give us some good information.
As noted in articles like in the debrief, these hearings
are heavily influenced by intelligence community input regarding what can

(01:56):
and cannot be discussed publicly. And we heard that very
same thing in one of the previous UFO hearings.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
And in fact, we're met with people not wanting us
to have hearings. We're met with people not wanting us
to ask you questions. In fact, many of us were
told not to ask some of you certain questions on
certain topics.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
There's far too much intelligence service inputs into what people
are and aren't allowed to talk about inside a public hearing.
The UAP community was recently buzzing about something called the
skiff flu, the idea that witnesses were deliberately avoiding classified briefings,
and that was really coined by Anna paulin Aluna, where

(02:38):
she spoke about that on the Joe Rogan podcast. But
Mike Gold, who was actually there I wanted the skiffs,
sets the record straight, stating it was simply a miscommunication.
On the Weaponized podcast, Chris Mellan genuinely had the flu,
while others like Luela Zondo had legitimate scheduling conflicts about

(02:59):
multiple last minute changes. Take a listen to this next
segment from the Weaponized podcast.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
What is skiff flu and what do you see in
the skiff flu? Is a myth today I hope to
inoculate you against it, And normally it shouldn't be that
difficult to get a skiff, but I think other members
of Congress were making it challenging for Congresswoman Luna, for
Congressman Burlson to go and get the skiff. And that's
why I give a great deal of credit for them.

(03:26):
But the challenge that occurred here for the skiff meeting,
I believe this was in May, although the original meeting
was supposed to be in April that there were multiple
attempts to get the skiff. So I was going into
the skiff along with Lou and a number of others.
But I think literally three times we were told it

(03:48):
was going to happen and then it didn't. And that's
easy enough for me living in Washington, d C. But
for someone like Lou who has to come in from Wyoming,
you know, that is very are very challenging and expensive
and costly for someone of their own time to keep
trying to come in only have the meeting canceled. Now,
that's not the member's fault, that's just the nature of

(04:11):
trying to get the skiff and some of the difficulties
that they fixed.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
This reveals something crucial about how difficult it is to
coordinate these classified briefings. As Gold explains, who works for
NASA and also used to work for Robert Bigelow, witnesses
like Luelazondo had to fly in from Wyoming multiple times
only to have meetings canceled at the last minute, and
the logistics alone are creating barriers to disclosure. But the

(04:41):
real story isn't about missing meetings. It's about what's actually
being shared in those classified sessions versus what we see publicly.
But there is a whole lot of drama with the
skiff Flew allegations, a battle of he said, she said,
with Elizondo and congress Woman Luna, who is really telling

(05:02):
the truth. Well, that is for you to decide. Legal
expert Richard beckwith author of Need to Know, breaks down
exactly how the government maintains UAP secrecy. Two key mechanisms
are killing Freedom of Information Act requests, the mosaic theory,
and state secrets privilege.

Speaker 5 (05:21):
So mosaic theory is the theory that although a particular
piece of information may on its surface appear to be
innocuous or unimportant, if placed into a larger mosaic or
a picture, if you will, of a much greater scheme
that's taking place, these little mosaics or these little pieces

(05:45):
of information can be pieced together over time by an
enemy or an adversary to determine what sorts of things
you are working on. They're not going to disclose it
until you pry it from their dead, cold fingers. It's
just not going to happen up and then these you
can have all the hearings in Congress you want, But
the gatekeepers, and I think, you know, some of us

(06:07):
have may have some idea about who those gatekeepers might be,
but those gatekeepers are not going to let that information go.
There is no altruism at the level of people that
are uh safeguarding this information. There's a real lack of
concern for fellow humans at.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
That at that level, and Ross argues that real disclosure
will only come from presidential action, not Congress. The Intelligence Committee.
The intelligence community appears to be successfully managing narrative control,
keeping even presidents in check with carefully crafted briefings that

(06:50):
justify continued secrecy.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
I defy the White House to maintain its bs line
that these are Federal Aviation author Federal Aviation Administration authorized
research drones. That was a lame line put out by
the White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt back in January when

(07:13):
the President was forced to honor a promise he'd rashly
made to the media before he'd had his briefing, where
he basically wanted the White House Chief of Staff to
find a quick explanation for what these drones were. And
so we've been given a whole series of contradictory explanations.
Now we've had two generals go on US sixty minutes,

(07:35):
CABUS sixty minutes and admit that they've got no blooming
idea what these drones are. But they're a concern because
they're obviously operating with impunity over the continental United States.
Either way, however you see this, this is a national
security and flight safety risk.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
There are indications that some presidents have been briefed on
UAP programs but convinced that national security requires continued classification.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
I always wonder what happens when, you know, let's say,
if we're a genetic experiment, or if there is something
about us that is a product. What happens when the
subject of the experiment becomes aware of the experimenters. Is
it time to start over and wipe the slate clean. So,
you know, when we talk about disclosure and we talk

(08:25):
about aliens, you know, it's one thing to tell people
that you know there are aliens, you know that we're
being visited by some higher intelligence or some different intelligence
from another part of the universe. That's one thing. But
it's a completely different thing to tell them that they're
the product of an experiment.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
I think these raise really profound questions about humanity's place
in the larger cosmic context, and whether disclosure might fundamentally
alter our understanding of reality itself, not just us being
a in the universe, not just us being visited by
et or interdimensionals, but just reality as a whole. So

(09:08):
here's where we stand. Congress knows far more than what
they say publicly, which we already know, and the secrecy
apparatus built around this issue is more sophisticated than most
people realize. You can't just be fed information on a
silver spood and hope for the best. There's a lot
more layers to it. So the September ninth hearing will

(09:31):
likely provide, hopefully some valuable insights. And given what we've
learned about the limitations of public hearings, do you think
grassroots pressure will force real disclosure or will it ultimately
require presidential action? Will the president come on national news
and say, guys, I have something to tell you aliens.
