Speaker 1 (00:00):
A state military official was asked a direct question about
UFOs this week. His answer, I cannot discuss that. In
an open testimony, that same official admitted he is aware
of incidents near federal facilities, but he wouldn't say anymore.
And this comes after eight Wyoming sheriffs reported unexplained objects
flying over power plans and energy fields four months no
(00:23):
one has claimed them, and on Capitol Hill we have
learned that unelected staff have been blocking UFO disclosure legislation
that has bipartisan support. As always, I'm here to report
the information without bias, and you can decide what to believe.
You can find the sources in my detailed articles at
ufonews dot com, along with in the description box below.
(00:45):
Hey you follow yours. I'm Christina Gomez and welcome to
this episode of UFO News Updates. During a state appropriations
hearing last Friday, December twelfth, Wyoming Senate Appropriations chaired Tim
Salazar asked a direct question to the States General Greg
Porter about unidentified anomalist phenomena over Wyoming airspace. When as
(01:06):
specifically if there had been any incidents of UAPs, Porter
responded that for their airspace, no, but then He added
that he is aware of some incidents near other federal
facilities that he does not think he could discuss in
an open testimony. Let me say that again. A state
(01:27):
military official acknowledged awareness of UAP incidents near federal facilities,
but declined to elaborate publicly. Senator Salazar told the Cowboys
State Daily he asked the question because news of UAPs
frequenting US military installations has become more of a concern
following national media reports, and there is good reason for
(01:51):
a concern because what has been happening in Wyoming simply
isn't normal. Here's what reporter Claire McFarland meant mentioned to
Cowboy State Daily on what she found when she started
investigating all of this.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
I called every sheriff in Wyoming, and of the ones
that talked to us, which was most of them, eight
have mysterious drum sightings. Three of these cases they were
flying over power plants, oil gas fields, coal mines, and
that kind of thing. And so in some of these
energy rich counties, the sheriffs are like, what are they doing?
Casey Laar said he reached out to energy companies working
(02:28):
in his area and no one has come forward as
saying that they've deployed the drones. So that's rather mysterious.
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Law enforcement agents have confirmed the sightings, but so far
no one has come forward and admitted to operating any
of the drones.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
But it only gets more interesting when Clara compared what
Wyoming sheriffs were describing to what officials in New Jersey
were seeing in twenty twenty four, the descriptions matched almost perfectly.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
I had been talking to New Jersey mayors and these
military officials living in New Jersey, and so I have
this very locked in description of what these guys were seeing.
It's who over the mayor's house, and so he gives
me this description of how they fly, how they sound,
and so the sheriff doesn't know that, but he described
them pretty much the same way. So even though the
(03:15):
sheriff didn't get close enough to see the size like
these guys did, he's describing like, oh, yes, locked formations.
One group will do this pattern, one group will do
this pattern about four hundred feet altitude.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
And a retired command sergeant major of the US Army
made a very important point.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Every time governmental agencies deflect, deny understanding of the drones
or refuse to identify their origin. They only drive people
deeper into distrust.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Which brings us back to Friday's hearing. When Porter was
asked if the Wyoming National Guard has any capability to
deal with these objects, he admitted that they don't. When
Representative Jeremy Haraldson asked if they are at the shotgun
level of technology, Porter confirmed that they are. So, you
have unexplained objects surveying energy infrastructure for months, law enforcement
(04:06):
confirming sightings, no one's claiming responsibility, and now a state
military official who knows something about incidents near federal facilities
but will not discuss it publicly. Now, let's move on
over to Capitol Hill, where members of Congress are pushing
for UFO answers. Congressional UAP Caucus co chair Tim Burshett
(04:27):
has confirmed the meeting with Secretary of State Marco Rubio
next week will take place and UAPs will be part
of the conversation. Now, he hasn't confirmed if he will
get that fifteen minute meeting with Trump that he was
hoping for, but Burshett thinks that he is making progress
talking to those who he thinks should be in the
know when it comes to UFOs. And other things. And
(04:50):
this comes from an exclusive interview with journalist Matt Laslow
of Askopole. Take a listen if you add your fifteen
minutes with President of Trump not yet?
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Yeah, I'd asked for it.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
I'm gonna now, but I'm I'm mating with.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Marco Rubio next week.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
But I'm kind of moving up the chain.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
A little bit.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
Are you gonna talk to Ruby about you AP a
little bit?
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Yeah? Yeah, we'll see.
Speaker 3 (05:14):
What do you say?
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Cool?
Speaker 2 (05:16):
See what he says.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
There is also news of another public UFO hearing. Andy Ogles,
a member of the Congressional UAP caucus, confirmed to ask
a Pull that there is one in the works. But
do we have our hopes up for this one or
should we keep them really low? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:34):
I supposed to have a hearing coming up.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
I don't know when it's scheduled for it. It should be
pretty soon.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
I may public because of the holiday. Yeah, anywhere? Another
public hearing?
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, are you going to maybe try to bring in
this age of disclosure guys or some of the people
who were in that documentary?
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Are you guys already yet? I'd see a lot of
those are already in it.
Speaker 1 (05:56):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
But again, I'll prefer to Burlison.
Speaker 1 (06:00):
The previous hearings brought forward military veterans who testified about
objects interfering with equipment and displaying capabilities that simply could
not be explained. Burshett wants fresh testimony or new evidence.
He doesn't want to repeat has already been said publicly,
and I think everyone can agree with that statement. But
(06:20):
we still have so much more to cover about the
latest development. So don't go anywhere, because this may be
the most significant news of this update. The UAPDA, which
stands for the Unidentified Anomalist Phenomenon Disclosure Act, is bipartisan
legislation introduced by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senator
Mike Rounds. It was modeled after the JFK Records Collection
(06:43):
Act from nineteen ninety two. Now that bill would have
created a non member independent review board to assess UAP
related records and create a path for public disclosure. It
would also have required the government to secure possession of
any recovery UAP material that might have been transferred to
private contractors. This bill has been introduced and stripped from
(07:08):
the National Defense Authorization Act multiple times. In twenty twenty three,
the key provisions were gutted in twenty twenty four and
again in twenty twenty five. It failed to make it
into the final bill, but now we finally know who's
blocking it. Congressman Eric Burlison has been working to get
the UAPDA included, and at the end of November, House
(07:30):
Armed Service Committee Chair Mike Rodgers told Burlison that he
would be fine with including it. So where is the opposition?
And this is very interesting to note because Mike Rogers
has had a lot of fingers pointed at him stating
that he was the problem as to why the UAPDA
was never passed.
Speaker 3 (07:50):
Did you find out where the opposition is?
Speaker 1 (07:52):
It sounded like there's some I don't even move.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
It's the members of the Senate side that the Senate.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Approached staff feel like it's their turf and they don't
want to So we need to have that conversation.
Speaker 1 (08:06):
I think Senator Rounds is going to have to kind
of that conversation. Interesting, So it wasn't even a member,
not a weird So it seems that the opposition is
not coming from elected senators. It's coming from Senate Appropriations
Committee staff members who view this as their territory. Burlusen
(08:27):
added that Senator Mike Rowns is going to have to
have a conversation with those staff members. So you have
senators and representatives from both parties supporting this bill, you
have House Armed Services chairs saying that he's fine with it,
and it keeps getting blocked by unelected staff who feel
that it's their territory. Every time officials deflect or refuse
(08:52):
to answer, it drives people deeper into mistrust. Questions are
being asked at every level of government and official keep
declining to answer them in public. So what do you
make of the Wyoming General refusing to discuss UAP in
open testimony? Do you think the Brishette and Rubio meeting
will lead to real movement? And who should testify in
(09:16):
the next public hearing? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
