(00:00):
Hi. My name is Kelly Copeland, and I am so blessed who have
grown up in the household of Kennethand Gloria Copeland. And in our house
we walked in the word, wetaught the word, We walked and lived
by faith. And that's what Ilearned as a young girl. And you
know, looking back over my life, I'm so grateful that they taught me

(00:24):
to believe God. If I wanteda bike, my parents would say,
that's a great faith project. SoI would look to the Lord for all
of those things. Well, youknow, that's great. You got a
horse, you got a bike, you got this. So you received a
boat, you received your needs met. And who has a need, you
know, when you're seven, eight, nine, ten years old. But

(00:46):
when I became an adult and hadchildren, there came a point in time
where those little things, those seeminglyunimportant things where God had met me supernaturally,
became important. When I was believingGod for my children's lives, I

(01:07):
had two situations. The first thingthat happened was my eighteen month old daughter,
Jenny, was in a car wreckand I wasn't with her. A
friend was driving her to her daycarewhile we were having a convention downtown.
Well, the car flipped and rolledover seven times, flipped four times,

(01:29):
and she was thrown from the car. And someone actually miraculously felt like he
needed to go visit his in lawsthat morning, and he was right behind
her and the young men driving theirlong story made shorter. They called we
went to the hospital. We weregetting ready for a big convention downtown or

(01:51):
stepping into that. I was gettingdressed to go to church that day.
But I went to the hospital downtownand her miracle began speaking. We began
praying. They put us in ain a private room, I think because
we were making the noise, youknow, praying in the spirit and speaking
to her body in the name ofJesus, in declaring, well she went

(02:14):
from They said she wasn't gonna makeit to coming out of the hospital in
four days. Four days, shecame out of that hospital in a full
on body cast. And every singlething they said that that was gonna happen,
or she was gonna expire from,or this is a problem, this

(02:36):
is a problem. God met meright then with every single thing, and
you know, looking back on that, I began to ask the Lord,
how could this happen. You know, we're believing God. We pray Psalm
ninety one, and the Lord beganto talk to me about two things in
that moment. He talked to meabout angelic protection, beginning to press into

(02:59):
that receive it, believe it.See what the word said about angelic protection.
And then the other thing that hetalked to me about was the blood
of Jesus. And I had we'dpray the blood of Jesus, but I
didn't understand it. So when someonementioned to me, you need to study
the blood of Jesus, because Ikept asking people, how do we keep

(03:21):
this from happening, I'm a questionto ask her, how do we keep
this from happening? How do Ikeep things like that from happening? And
I began to study about the bloodof Jesus. Well, fast forward several
years later, my older daughter,Lindsey, she was diagnosed with meningitis and

(03:44):
actually Christmas Eve, she wasn't feelinggood, so she never even came down
to celebrate with us. But thatnext morning she did not. She was
not conscious. She was moaning shedidn't know who where she was, She
didn't know who she was, andso we rushed her over to the hospital
and they did the test to seeif it was meningitis. There had been

(04:05):
several kids in the metroplex who haddied from meningitis, and so they tested
her and the doctor looked at mein the eyes and he said, it's
meningitis. And I remember just turningaround walking out of that emergency room exam

(04:29):
room. I walked into the halland my sister walked up to me and
she could see my face and shesaid, what what is it? And
I remember that when he said thatto me, I just felt this clamp
down. It's as though the enemy, as if someone had me in a

(04:49):
stranglehold physically, only it was onmy spirit. There was the word of
God in me. There were allthese scriptures, all these truths that had
been implanted in me about our deliverance, our healing, our restoration, and
so I just couldn't say anything.Though I could, it wouldn't come out.

(05:11):
And that was fear. I feltthe fear. But I looked at
my sister and I love the Lord. The Lord will do this for you.
He will put words in your mouthif you'll give him your tongue.
That's the best way I know todescribe what happened to me. Next,
I looked at her, and Godput these words in my mouth, and
I said, I refuse to fearbecause I know fear's the killer. My

(05:36):
dad always taught me that fear connectsyou to the enemy's plan the same way
faith connects you to God's plan andto God's words. So I just that
came out, and I felt thatthing break. I felt the fear just
like leave, and I couldn't seeit leave, but it felt like I

(05:59):
could see it, like a littlewhipped puppy or something just running off.
And that fear left. And thesecond I said those words, and that
fear broke off of my soul, clamping. That was clamping down the word
of the Lord, because you know, we have to speak. We have
to declare the word. It's notenough to know the word out of the

(06:24):
abundance of the heart. The mouthspeaks. It's good to have the word
in you in abundance when those timescome, but we have to declare it.
Our words have power and they createand they rebuke the enemy. So
when I rebuke the enemy like that, out comes this flood. And I

(06:44):
told you about learning about the bloodof Jesus. I had been pleading the
blood of Jesus for over two yearsin the in between those two incidents,
and I just begin I said,no, there's blood between me and Jesus
over Lindsay. She's gonna live andnot die. And I couldn't stop the
words coming out at that point.Well, they told me they would start

(07:11):
do it. They would test tosee what kind of meningitis it was,
and come to find out, afterthey did all the tests, it was
the most deadly. It was niceriameningitis, the most deadly strained. I
sat in the room with the doctorand he was telling me how bad this
was, because when we got tothe hospital, Lindsay was really almost She

(07:34):
had had it for over twenty fourhours and she was almost gone. And
the doctor said to me, we'regoing to start her on these antibiotics.
And he said, we're gonna starther on the antibotics for every kind of
strain there is. But he saidthe antibotics take at least twenty four to

(07:55):
thirty six hours to have any kindof effect. But he looked at me
and he said, sadly, thesekids who have this don't have that long
because this kind if it's nyicyria. It's a twenty four hour killer. And
he goes, they can be happyin the morning and dead that night.
This is what the doctor's telling me. And you know, I'm very grateful

(08:18):
for having learned. We did not. You know, you can be informed
by your emotions, you can enjoyyour emotions, but please don't be led
by your emotions when you're in asituation like that, the circumstances, the
emotions of a hysterical mother or afearful mother, which is the direction that
I was headed, that does notpromote what God wants in that situation.

(08:46):
And so I'm so grateful to Himthat I recognize the fear. Those words
came out, the word of theLord began to come forth. And I'm
grateful that I had been pleading theblood of Jesus for all those years,
or all those years two years, and so there was a hedge built up
in me. There was an awarenessbuilt up in me from pleading the blood

(09:07):
of Jesus, receiving angelic protection. That said, no weapon formed against her
will prosper. It said, theblood of Jesus is surrounding her and will
carry us through this thing without death. That the death angel will pass over.
So this is all in my mindwhen I'm pleading the blood of Jesus.

(09:30):
I looked at that doctor and Ifelt so calm. I look back
on that now and I call ita bubble. It was like the Lord
just encased me in this bubble ofpeace, of the awareness of his plan
for Lindsey. And I said,I understand what you're saying. I said,

(09:50):
but the Word says that she willlive and not die. The word
says Jesus paid the price for this, and I just I wasn't mad at
him. Often tell people, youknow, if you feel tempted to just
get angry at the doctor and say, I don't really believe that report.
They're not your problem. You're fightingthe war on the wrong front. It's

(10:11):
the enemy who's tried to come andsteal your child, steal your spouse,
still your parent, whatever the situationis. Satan has come to do what
he does, and the Word sayshe comes to steal, kill, and
destroy. It's interesting, isn't itthat steal is first? What's he coming

(10:33):
to steal? He comes to stealthe word if he can steal the word
out of your heart by the circumstances. By the fear, then he can
kill that has to do. That'sthe truth for properties, that's the truth
for you know something God's calling youto step into marriages, family, sickness.

(10:58):
It's just the truth and comes tosteal the word to kill and destroy
what God wants to do in yourlife. So when we stood, I
just stood and it wasn't hard becauseof that place that had been built up
in me. Well, he justlooked at me, and I don't even
know that he was a Christian, but he looked at me and he said,

(11:20):
well, I can't agree with that. And so that was at three
o'clock. They started the antibiotics, and remember it takes twenty four to thirty
six hours for those to even havean effect. So we went to she's.
You had to like do all ofthe you know, has matt suit,

(11:43):
you know, the for germs andeverything. You had to get put
all the suits on to go seeher. She was out of it.
She was not conscious, she wascompletely incoherent. And I went into a
chapel room with pastors and with Jerryand Carolyn, Sabel dear family friends and

(12:07):
ministers of the gospel, and wetook communion, and brother Jerry Sabel said,
as suddenly as this came on,it's going to turn Well. I
just went back to her room becauseI thought my husband has to be he
needs to come. So I ranback to the room. He went in
and had communion. But when butbefore he did, I walked into this

(12:30):
room and it take me about tenminutes maybe fifteen to get changed and get
in there. And she was awake. My daughter was awake. And I
said what happened? And he said, well, about fifteen minutes ago,
she popped open her eyes and said, Merry Christmas, Daddy. I thought

(12:52):
only one of my children would sayMarry Christmas coming out of a coma.
But she woke up and she beganto mend. The really neat thing that
I love about this story is myparents were in Colorado trying to get a
flight home, and at the samemoment as we took communion the Blood of

(13:16):
Jesus, we partook of the bloodof Jesus. At that same moment my
parents were taking communion. At thatsame moment, this woman who loved that
she was a prayer intercessor. Shedidn't work for the ministry. She just
loved my parents and prayed for themincessantly. She felt to take communion.

(13:39):
We all at the same time. And it was at the same time that
Lindsay woke up well out of Shegot out of ICU before the morning.
They got her out of there ineight hours. They were looking for a
room for her in eight hours. To get her out of ICU. She
began to mend. Over the courseof the next Your God supernaturally restored her

(14:01):
hearing. He's a miracle worker.Let that story just encourage you. He
will do the supernatural in your life. It's his desire. It's never his
desire to withhold what Jesus bought andpaid for for you and for your loved
ones. So rebuke the fear, stand against it verbally, and then let

(14:24):
the word of the Lord come forAnd if you said, well, Kelly,
I don't feel like I have thatword in my heart, grab a
friend, phone a friend. Thosefriends will stand with you and you can
be led in declaring the word ofGod. But you know, you just
invite Jesus into the situation, andhe comes with all of his mighty,

(14:46):
mighty power. He did it forus, and he'll do it for you. Zo
