Aloha, wave riders! Get ready for an epic surf week in Hawaii that's about to light up our shores with some serious swell action.

South facing shores are gearing up for a multi-day surf fest that'll have you stoked! Tonight kicks off our first long period swell, with waves building to a solid 5-6 feet by tomorrow - right in the sweet spot for summertime surf. But hold onto your boards, because things are about to get serious.

Late Thursday, a massive south swell is rolling in that'll push surf heights to a jaw-dropping 8-12 feet - well above advisory levels. This monster will hold strong through Friday, gradually backing down over the weekend. And just when you thought it was over, another long period south swell is waiting in the wings for early next week.

East facing shores aren't sitting this out either. Strengthening trade winds are generating some tasty wind waves that'll rise to seasonal averages by late Wednesday and stick around through the weekend.

For you north shore enthusiasts, don't write off those typically flat summer conditions just yet. Typhoon Krosa in the western Pacific might serve up a small northwest swell this weekend to keep things interesting.

Across the islands, consistent surf ranges are looking solid: South facing shores will see 3-5 feet tonight, ramping up to 4-6 feet tomorrow, and peaking at 5-7 feet. East and west facing shores are serving up respectable 2-4 foot waves tonight, trending up to 3-5 feet tomorrow.

Weather-wise, expect mostly sunny conditions with scattered showers, east winds around 10-20 mph, and temperatures hanging in the mid to upper 80s.

Surf's up, Hawaii! Stay safe, watch those rip currents, and enjoy the ride.
