The water's sitting at a crisp 67 to 72 degrees - wetsuit optional but recommended. Expect mostly sunny skies with just a hint of potential showers to keep things interesting. The UV index is cranked up to high so sunscreen is your best friend today.
High tide times are rolling in throughout the morning - Vilano Beach hits its peak at 7:42 AM with Jacksonville Beach following close behind at 7:21 AM. Pro tip: time your beach adventure around these tide schedules.
As we cruise into Friday the surf mellows slightly to 4 to 5 feet with a moderate rip current risk. The wind shifts to a southwest direction promising some interesting wave dynamics. Temperatures will climb to around 80 degrees with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Looking ahead to the weekend surf enthusiasts can expect smaller waves - Saturday brings 2 to 3 foot swells with northwest winds around 15 mph. Sunday drops even smaller to 1 to 2 feet with calm north winds.
