Waves are rolling in at a solid 2 to 3 feet, perfect for some intermediate surfing action. The winds will be dancing northwest around 15 miles per hour before shifting northeast in the afternoon. Water temperatures are sitting pretty in the lower 70s, which means wetsuit optional but recommended for longer sessions.
The UV index is blasting into very high territory, so sunscreen is absolutely non-negotiable. Pro tip: reapply every two hours and don't skimp on coverage.
Over in the Georgia coastal zones around Glynn and Camden counties, conditions are similarly sweet. Expect similar wave heights around 2 feet with northwest winds between 10 to 15 miles per hour. Water temperatures are slightly cooler in the upper 60s, so consider a light wetsuit.
Looking ahead, the weekend and early week forecast promises continued sunshine with gradually warming temperatures. Sunday will see slightly calmer conditions with lower rip current risks and more gentle waves.
Monday through Wednesday should deliver consistently sunny skies with temperatures climbing into the lower 80s and surf heights mellowing to 1 to 2 feet.
