Surf conditions are looking mellow with waves ranging 1 to 2 feet. The UV index is cranking up to very high, so slather on that sunscreen and protect your skin. Pro tip: grab your sunglasses and maybe a light cover-up.
Tide dancers can plan around some sweet timing today. Jacksonville Beach will see high tide at 11:36 AM, while Fernandina Beach peaks at 12:22 PM. St. Augustine Beach riders can catch their high tide at 11:44 AM.
Looking ahead to Friday, expect southeast winds picking up to 10 to 15 mph and slightly larger waves measuring 2 to 3 feet. The weekend continues the sunny trend with surf heights climbing to 3 to 4 feet on Saturday and holding steady through Sunday.
Weekend warriors can anticipate temperatures creeping into the lower 80s with continued southeast breezes. Monday looks partly sunny with surf settling back to 2 to 3 feet.
