Speaker 3 (01:00):
Isn't that very exciting?
Speaker 1 (01:02):
Indeed, we are getting somewhere in the world.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
I wouldn't say that it's step one of the world
takeover stepwell.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Yeah, the wise business take.
Speaker 2 (01:17):
But to get into the meat of the podcast, this
year's Oh god, this episode's year is two thousand and eight.
If you don't know this format, this this feature we
pick our favorite movie or TV show, our favorite music
of some sort, and favorite video game from a particular
(01:41):
randomized year each episode. So this this episode's year is
two thousand and eight. Who would like to kick off?
Speaker 4 (01:53):
Well, well, judging for the fact that Arrow, you know,
forgot the year entirely, it's probably leasing to last. I mean,
I'm happy to happy to start if you like, so
I can steal some of your suggestions. I won't do
that because I very much that it. Yeah, definitely, it's
still your video game. Because the video game i'm actually
(02:16):
looking I can't find. I know that you said there
was Okay.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
That you like and now it's scrolled down far enough.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
But yeah, mine, mine, no is is the the one.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
I mean, it didn't style, but it started it all
for the love of the thing, which I actually don't
really love that much now unfortunately.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
But is call Duty, Oh god, Jammy is the one
that it is literally the one that started like my
Xbox gaming career.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Do you know you even had the game?
Speaker 1 (02:52):
Yes, me and my brother would always play zombies and
all that kind of stuff together. Well, it was the
campaign I played lots of time.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Well, good because now you've got a bit of time
to think of something else. But yeah, it's brilliant, like, yeah,
it is the introduction to zombies. So the zombies are
really weird because I remember it was. I remember going
around someone's else which won't be named, and they told
(03:23):
me about World War and they're like, oh, you know,
there is zombie mode. And I was like, I mean
came ho older ones at the time, but I was
youngish at school whatever, and I was thinking like, oh, scary.
All this stuff played, it is brilliant. And then I
remember I had to walk back home like and it
was like dark and it was really foggy, which is
all I was Zombies was like anyway, So I thought,
(03:43):
oh my god, like this is actually really creepy now
just because simply playing.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
This game, I mean, it's just so ridiculous.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
But but yeah, no, the introduction to Zombies was so good,
even like the first couple of maps, I wasn't that
bothered about is any when de Reise came in, which
was the call it the fourth one, Shino Numa, Yeah,
fourth one, which was so good.
Speaker 3 (04:06):
It's just so damn good.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
Like it's so simple, and you think about what's what
zombies is like now and call duty it's so like simplistic,
yet it's better than what they do now because what
they do now is they get these all crazy story mode.
Speaker 3 (04:21):
You know all this Oh you've got to do this,
You've got to find.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
All these things, and it says it's just rubbish, Like
bring me back to basic zombies, that's what I want.
But yeah, the Zombies was brilliant. Multiplayer is amazing. Like
multiplayer was so good at that time. You know the
thing when you only the top kill streak you get.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Was dogs, which is like it was a dog.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
It's like seven kills, and that was like the top
kill streak. You don't get a new quote any of
that other stuff. But yeah, multiplayers absolutely fantastic. Maps are brilliant,
and yeah, the campaign is probably still my favorite campaign,
have all of them.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
It's so good. And I'm always sucking.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
For World War two stuff anyway, So the fact that
that was that, and I've actually just finished campaign for
Cars World War Two, which is really good at that
but yeah, it's.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Absolutely fantastic game. I don't know, did Rescue of You?
Did you play much of the World at War? No?
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I never had it. I think I've played the mode.
The game mode I've played the most of World of
War is Cheese CUBEA limited.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Oh god, it I forgot about that.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
To that game's you know longevity that say zombie like
a modern map if anyone doesn't know, and it's really
stupid like that you're in like a like a tall
tunnel made of cheese and there's like even what they
call it dark cheese like rising from the bottom that
you have to like outrun. And also you can collect
the pieces of and become iron Man in it. Anyway,
(05:52):
we have actually stream that is on the old channel.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
I think we should do that again at some point.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Well, the problem is that Arrow can't World of War
are from the Steam because ran out of cd P
s A. Don't buy World at War on Steam because
if you and this has changed in the last few years,
which you may have, but if you buy World at
(06:18):
War on Steam, you get the game you downloaded and
it opens up saying there's no license KEI entered, which
is crazy because there just isn't any license keys for
Steam to like put in.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
I mean, they shouldn't be able to sell it though,
should they? Really? I can't believe that.
Speaker 2 (06:32):
It's a weird, isn't it the whole thing?
Speaker 3 (06:34):
Yeah, so strange, But yeah, it's real shame because that
was brilliant.
Speaker 4 (06:39):
Some of the other modern maps are great but we
do need to get the Black Ops three one at
some point when I can actually run Blacks on a PC,
that would be great. But yeah, so it's for my game. Yeah,
I've chosen the world Wolf and apparently so.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Yeah, to move on to me on the song.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
The songs difficult because, like I said to you before
we started, I wanted to go for st pop just.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Because I've gone for rock or metal every time. Like
you know, it hasn't.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
It was a good year for pop music, so you know,
it's one of those things where we're at that age
where you hear it all the time and it's not
as terrible as now. But I do think going for
the lest looking what there is, it's difficult, but there
is one standout. There's definitely one stand up for me,
and that is can you guess Rascal?
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Can you get?
Speaker 2 (07:35):
I began for music? Yeah, mm hm, oh, not from
the pop I've looked at. Well, unless you unless you're
stealing mine, But you said pop. Yeah, it's not expecting
R and B, that's for sure.
Speaker 4 (07:54):
Oh, because I got a choice of doing two and
I didn't realize they both come out, they're both on
the same day.
Speaker 2 (08:06):
That's not pop at all.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Wait, yeah, well hold on, hold on, so my choice
and I would.
Speaker 4 (08:14):
Choose actually because if it is right, I'm going to
choose the opposite one to one you had chosen, I think.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
So I'm going to choose Closer by.
Speaker 6 (08:25):
Pop song by it's not a pop song, you know
what pop like?
Speaker 2 (08:37):
By that logic, sleep to pop right now, because.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
They should be. They should be. It was that the
one you're gonna choose, You're going to choose the other one?
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Did you take Closer? I was too annoyed to even
you know, I was actually going to say Misindependent.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
That's what I thought to be honest, I saw.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
That I got hang on, let me check this. Wait
you carry on though, because it's just for mine.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
So okay, Yeah, Closer, fantastic song, the same as mister Independent.
That's what I was going to choose that until I
look down as all Closer, and because.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
I knew you were going to pick it. But yeah,
Neo Backings has an eight.
Speaker 4 (09:15):
It's so damn good, like oh, I mean, it was
like it's just such there's such a beat, like it
has such a good flow. I love love that kind
of music, and I really am a fan of you anyway,
I do like mainly it's all the stuff like you know,
you had so sick and sexy level all that back
(09:35):
in the day. But yeah, I think it's just I mean,
there's not much to say apart from fact that it's absolute.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
Banger and it is such a good song.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
I mean when I hear it on a night out,
it's just a perfect song.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
It's got like that perfect beat.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
Like Mister Independent, they both have like fantastic actual music
as well as lyrics.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
It's this is a round song like it's brilliant. Yeah, no, yes,
that is my pick for music.
Speaker 4 (09:58):
And lastly, I will say my choice was very very
easy for movie because I opened IMDb other sources and available.
Speaker 3 (10:10):
And I saw Dark Knight, so which is probably one.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
I think the Dark Knight, which is Batman. I think
it's actually it was the third or fourth top film
of all time. It's something ridiculous, like it's so so
highly rated, such high regard.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
Yeah, I don't think. I mean you seen you watch
you probably have.
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Yeah, I had on DVD with the what's it the
holographic front where you moved in?
Speaker 3 (10:40):
I remember that, Yeah, I remember that.
Speaker 4 (10:43):
What what a brilliant film is though, and he Fledger's
joker is just perfection.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
I just don't. I don't care why anyone says.
Speaker 4 (10:51):
A lot of people are like, obviously something the older
Batman because like the ones that County in the name
of from my head right now.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
But I just can't.
Speaker 4 (11:02):
It's such a good film and everything that happens in
that film is absolutely brilliant, Like it's you know, you
got the impression of Harvey Dent.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
You've got just the things that I see meaned most
of the time. To be honest, now beca can't remember
most of the film.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
But because it's so old, but like, yeah, there's so
much in I really like that trilogy anyway. I really
like the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy, which is probably a
hot taker. Some people would say they're crap, which I
totally agree. And Christian Bell I think is a brilliant Batman. So,
you know, I haven't seen the new one, so I
need to watch the New Batman, you know, the new
(11:38):
one Robert Patterson. But yeah, no, honestly, it's it's quite funny,
Rob Patson.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
I've just seen what was second in the list as well,
But honestly, Dark Knight is a brilliant film. Rescuer. You
could that you should.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
I know that you act haven't watched any of them,
but honestly, that trilogy we need to definitely have a title.
A whole podcast will just dedicate to you watching All
the Batman.
Speaker 3 (12:06):
That would be good.
Speaker 5 (12:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (12:08):
No, seriously, brilliant films and it deserves to be like
one of the top films all the time.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
That's what I want to say about it.
Speaker 4 (12:14):
Yeah, that's my my choices for the good old year
of two thousand and eight.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
Who want to.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
When you wait?
Speaker 1 (12:23):
Yes, I'll go next, because I don't think that stills
anything else that I say.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
Anything hopefully, but I got back up. That's fine.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Yeah, So what did you start with?
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Guy?
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Was it?
Speaker 2 (12:44):
I start with order.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Because guy took my video game? Where's that one? I found?
My mouth is being weird.
Speaker 3 (12:57):
You can't even remember the game.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
I remember the game, but I lost where it was
on the list. But I'll go with because I like
I liked playing it when I had it. I've still
got it, but like I liked playing it when I
first got it was Mirror Edge, the first person parkour game.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
Game.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Yeah, I think I played it for the Xbox and
then I finally owned it when I bought it for
the PlayStation. So yeah, yeah, that's that was a pretty
good game. Like like guys said, was it. World of
War was going to be my first choice because obviously
it was where my gaming that and like obviously when
(13:45):
I think, I know, I haven't said anything yet, that'll
probably come up with another year of the other game
that got me into gaming. But it was one of
the games that got me into gaming because obviously, like that,
as guys said, zombies and all that kind of stuff,
and it was just the like where you didn't need
online to enjoyer game. It was you could just play it.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
The campaign was good and all that kind of stuff
you have described PC gaming error.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Yeah, but nowadays it's like, yeah, there's more it's more
to do with multiplayer than actual campaign stuff.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
This is this is true.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yeah, that's because that's why it's they bring out the
new cords and all that, people like, can the campaign
actually be decent instead of them focusing just on the
white player. But yeah, my mine, my other choice was
Mirror Edge. Loved it, the parkour, the city, everything about it,
like the.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
I remember it looking really good at the time.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Yes, what I mean, it looked really good, like for
the art, for the like graphic wise and art. Looking
at other games back then, it did seem a little
bit of a head like with its graphics.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
Yeah, yeah, no, yeah, I must be. It's one of
those games. Though.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
It's really weird because I've never actually I've read a
fable two game years.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
For God's sake, there's a lot we need to go
for it. But yeah, I realized it's one of the
games I actually quite enjoy.
Speaker 4 (15:07):
But I don't think I've ever completed it because I
tried doing it.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
Was it?
Speaker 4 (15:13):
Did they get a re released on PS four like
a remaster? I don't know, but I tried playing it recently.
Maybe it was on my p S three. I just
couldn't get I was following a guide and you know,
of course, trying to get the platinum, and I just
couldn't get that far into it. I bounced off it
quite hard, and I don't know why. I think I
watch a bit where it got bit hard.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Yeah, I think that's where I first fell off it,
when it got a bit difficult. Because with a game
like that it was, I think it would have been
a more easier if you were a third person, but
because it's first person and the way you're moving all that,
you kind of have to like get with the jumps
right and stuff like that.
Speaker 3 (15:46):
Yeah, it can be quite jarring. Yeah, there's a lot
of like turning like you can.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
I obviously came sharply and like the whole blur that
you get from the camera is crazy.
Speaker 3 (15:55):
Then it just goes.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
I think it goes.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
I think it did get re released as a as
a remaster or something, because I have that addition where
it came with the statue of her that I had.
Speaker 4 (16:06):
Sure that's not the because of course it was a
sequel in there.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
I think it's the first I think it's the game,
but I think it's the remake of the first game.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
I think with that, I've got Mirror's Edge Castles, which
is the second game.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
That's that's the only one I've gotten. I think it's
the only one I've got.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
I'll put in the discord, but yeah, I've got one
of them on disc and I think it's yeah, because
I think you have to start again, but yeah, that
was my game choice. I think I'll go with music.
You well, I had a bit of trouble funny music.
(16:50):
So I dove into my pre getting into K pop music.
I found out what came out in two thousand and
eight that I actually, you really enjoyed when I was
getting into K pop in the early twenty twelves. I
think it was with a certain song that came out.
But yeah, it's a song called Love Like Oxygen by
(17:13):
she Me, and it's just got a good vibe to it.
And it was the outfits and all and the dance
and stuff is like very like early two thousands, and
I kind of like that style because like one of
them was like a bowler hat at the back of
the head. That was quite cool when I first watched it.
But yeah, and they I used to listen to a
(17:34):
lot Seni anyway, So for lucky, I found out they
did a song or two other night, and I will
I will show you guys afterwards. I mean, you're looking
at the music video. It's all gone square now.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
It is like a horrific quality. Yes, but carry on
with your game if you like years the game. Yeah, actually.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Game, I've already done my game. Yeah, your anime, I'll
do a movie and then I'll do anime.
Speaker 2 (18:11):
I am listening to you addro via Apple Podcasts because
it was the UK to subscribe via Apple podcast, Google Podcasts, Spotify,
your chosen provider, carry.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Out, Rescue you sell out anyway For myself, yeah, I
guess the movie that started all the franchise and everything
that obviously carried me carried on watching all these movies
and it was iron Man.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
Iron Man came out in two thousand and eight with
Robbie Dannel Jr. As Iron Man, and it started the
franchise and started my Marvel all over again with the
a CD song tracks and everything all.
Speaker 3 (18:56):
Good Time, all good Time. That was really like it went.
Speaker 4 (18:59):
Marvel was actually really good and obviously when they first
started and it's just yeah, we're talking.
Speaker 1 (19:06):
Be live and looking at the popularity. It is number
four on the list and as a guy said, the
Dark Knight is number one on this list. Yeah, I
can't believe Twilight's here on number two.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Understandably, it's crazy back in the day when everyone was
going on about Twilight.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
God indeed he loves them vampires, which brings me onto
the anime choice.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
I'm kidding.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
That would scare me.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
There is a few.
Speaker 3 (19:39):
Huh.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
I was gonna say, what was your anime choice is
going to be. There was, man, what were you picked from? Anime?
Speaker 1 (19:47):
From anime? Yeah, it's I was going to say one
beginning with a certain layer of the alphabet, but I'll
leave that to rest.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
I think that magical.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
What Yeah, that's what going to say.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
You beat me too, But yeah, my there there is
quite a few in two thousand and eight that obviously
I watched with you guys, so it became like the
Group's love show, if that makes sense. But the one
show that was like, I guess you could say mine
was a scientific no, not scientific, a magical.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Said that.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
I don't know why I said the other one, but yeah,
it's basically, yeah, the one I carried on watching when
you guys started watching the other one and all that
kind of stuff. So yeah, that's my animate choice, which
is a certain magical index.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
I just thought, I mean, obviously you probably know what
I'm going to pay. Yeah, that's why I didn't pick it.
But then there's like, okay, I'll just I'll talk there
when it's my turn.
Speaker 1 (20:51):
I was gonna make it joke because I thought you
thought I was going to pick a guy's favorite Razire vampire.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
No, I saw that there, but I thought you were
going to pay index. Which the one I thought guy
would pick to annoy me is chaos Head, which you could.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
Head.
Speaker 1 (21:08):
Chaos Head wasn't on the list that I first looked at,
but I quickly scammed through, skimmed through Winter, Spring, Summer
and all two thousand and eight on MAW and yes,
chaos Head and everything else popped.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
You could have had song you know, special that.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Way super special. Yeah, but yeah, that is my choices
that I know. There is two that I would have picked,
but they're more of a group love, which I know
Resk is probably going to pick one of them.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
I could. Really I'm actually debating change in mine.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
From my gut there is two. I know there's two.
I can see that Rescuer will have hard that.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
Actually on paper it shouldn't be but anyway it away.
I'm gonna obviously start with the game though, And a guy,
did did you think at first I was definitely going
to pick.
Speaker 3 (22:09):
Me on it?
Speaker 4 (22:09):
Fo Yeah, yeah, I saw the one and I thought, well,
I actually I am not sure.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
I mean I'm assuming so yeah, yeah at.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
The MS four and then the other one, I mean,
if you'd like me to say it is a Little
Big Planet must.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Be what it was, Prince Persia, yeah.
Speaker 3 (22:30):
Pack, but.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
Yeah, I wouldn't know which one you choose. I think
I know which one, but I would let you.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Yeah, I have to go with a Little Big Planet.
It's really hard to pick against MGS four because that's
one of those games that, like I don't know, had
an impact on me. I guess, you know, yeah, and
it's I see it just like that's absolute classic. But
(22:58):
but a Little Big Plan it is, had a way
more that that changed the path of my life more
so than the other one. I stopped playing games at
some point during the PS two era, right, I think
towards the end of the PS two the only game
I bought was the Simpsons game, and that obviously came
(23:23):
out on PS three and such as well, but I
had it on PS two because that's all I had, Like,
I didn't have a new Coon, so I wasn't interested
in playing video games, but I wanted to play that
game because of Hit and Run and you know, obviously
it was a bit disappointing ing of Maarson. But anyway,
what prompted me to get a play station three when
I did, and then to essentially continue playing video games
to today. It's slow Big Planet I saw. I don't
(23:48):
know if they exist anymore. I saw, I don't know how,
But on the internet I saw videos of a group
called the four Player Podcast playing a Little Big Planet beta.
This was obviously a while after the to like the
game was already out. They're playing the beta and they
were playing like a Futurama level. They had like a
phone a sponge version of the spaceship from the Futurama
(24:09):
that they had to rocket on. You know, you can
imagine the sort of erratic flying that that did if
you played a Little Big Planet. And I thought that
looked so much fun. So I got a Little Big
Planet and a PlayStation, and I just the amount of
time I spent on that game, trying like loads of
different levels. I spent a lot of time creating levels,
(24:33):
and really it's probably, along with maybe a couple of
other things, it's like the first time. In fact, really
that's the first time I like created something and put
it out to the world, you know, I guess that
could yeah, and more than that like that, you know,
because when you make a Little Big Planet level, to
make a good one, you have to follow generally speaking
(24:57):
proper rules of game design, because what you doing is
creating a level of a game, no less than making
a real video game. So I learned, you know, you
learn from the best people in that community, like things
like breadcrumbing and the little like it indicates the developers
give the players, and so I corporated or tried to
(25:18):
incorporate these things. My levels weren't that good, of course
they weren't, but you know, it was an interesting time,
and I bought Would Be two and my sister also
got into it, and we spent a lot of time
playing and making levels for many years. And it's a
shame that this franchise is dead. There is there is
(25:41):
a legally distinct remake coming on to Steam at some point.
It's called I think it's called Restitched. You speak, called
a Little Big Planet Restitch, just not anymore. I think
so only had a word. It's called Stitch, and the
idea is that it's a you know, indie version of
(26:01):
what A Little Big Planet could have been, especially you know,
I mean LBP three was amazing when it moved to
the PlayStation four, although we had issues in other ways,
but you know now that we have you know, well
in theory it could be on PC. The limitations are
all gone from what we What we had making levels
of the p S three were so restrictive, and my goodness,
(26:24):
if they can pull off a legally distinct little big
planet on PC is going to be just absolutely amazing.
And I hope it actually grows a little because I'm excited.
Speaker 4 (26:34):
Yeah, And honestly, it was fantastic. I used to love it,
and it's actually funny enough. It's probably the at least
the first game I can remember where I actually started
getting into trophies because of it, because I remember, of
course I didn't your Planet for it, because there's too
many online ones that you did get the plan.
Speaker 3 (26:52):
You have got the plan on you for?
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Yeah, you five feet already, Yeah, but I just couldn't.
I couldn't do the which what was it, the great one?
Probably which I want? You had to get all the
hearts and stuff. I just can do something good enough
to get that.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
So the trick with that was to do a lot
of somewhat good things and eventually just end up fifty.
And I remember I got the Platinum for a Little
Big Planet one after a Libiy Planet two because I
was still making levels in LP two, and you know,
(27:30):
I got to like, you know, I think I got
to like forty eight, and I realized I had two
other PlayStation accounts. I did the last two and then
I took out the disk. I put in WP one
and I fired it up. And I remember a friend
of mine because I shared that, I think in our
group at the time, a friend is like, how did
(27:52):
you know exactly when the trophy was gonna pop? Because
you have a you have a photo beause of course
can screenshops real, right, a photo of like the trophy popping?
How are you that quick? And it's like I knew
the trophy was.
Speaker 3 (28:03):
Going to pop, Yeah, exactly pre planned already.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Before before anyone said anything about me hearting myself on
other accounts. I since then acquired several more hearts, so
I do have a legit fifty fifty plus.
Speaker 4 (28:17):
I just want to point to get the plan and
you go, you know, you've got to do whatever you
can you So that's the rules.
Speaker 3 (28:24):
Heart.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
I never did heart for heart. I just want to say, oh.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Yeah, there's one of our friends and that all the time.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
It's so cringey, the heart of heart, and I just
don't want to do it.
Speaker 3 (28:34):
I just it's too cringey. I hate it.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
Yeah, yeah, brill yeah, great, great choice, you know, and
it's it is a shame that it's sort of gone
now because you know, we as you know, and it
was well.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
We did do a recording previously.
Speaker 4 (28:49):
But you can have a brilliant time on the big
planet like you and I especially just laugh our heads off.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
And just some of the most cupid crap more.
Speaker 2 (28:58):
To a combat featuring LMFAO but in lo quality.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Yeah, it's so good, it's so good.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Ah shame yeah, oh man, yeah, yeah, it means a
lot of me, I guess. So I had to pick
it good song. Earlier I said I was going to
pick mis Independent, but you made me on that argument
that that brutal steel and the winning of My My,
(29:33):
My part you unlocked a core twenty sixteen memory of
mine because that's when I happened to find this song
from two thousand and eight. And I'm not going to
say Misindependent. I'm going to say miss Independent part two.
Speaker 3 (29:47):
Okay, Yeah, do you do you know that?
Speaker 2 (29:50):
I feel like I showed you it once.
Speaker 3 (29:51):
Yeah, I don't think. I don't really remember it, but
I do know it. I know its existence.
Speaker 2 (29:56):
Yeah, so this is yeah, I had to I had
to check that. It came out December, so it's kind
of wow. I almost got fucked by that as well.
But this song is it's it's a realm. It's called
a remix of Misindependent, but it's also got its own title.
She got her own, but it's also called Miss Independent
(30:17):
Part two and it's Neo but featuring Fabulous who is
a rapper I don't know, and Jamie Foxx and I
quite like the intro to it, where like Neo is
like I brought a friend along show my appreciation right way, ladies,
mister Jamie Foxx and he just he's on the piano
and music video and I realized the song it's I
(30:38):
really chill and he obviously has a similar theme to Misindependent,
right in terms of words saying about And yeah, I
listened to this is shitdown in the summer of twenty sixteen. Yeah, sixteen.
There's a song that I used to listen to it
with remember I can't remember, but yeah, I remember no longer.
(31:07):
During that workplace was rage on what I would listen
to and it became Misindependent Part two.
Speaker 3 (31:17):
What's pretty weird that.
Speaker 4 (31:20):
It's like with like the part two is like it's
the same thing with Usher's Confessions Part two, Like I
don't even I actually don't even know what the original
confession is even, like I don't even know what the
song how it goes because I only listened to part two.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
I don't even like.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
What about pass? You ever listened to part one?
Speaker 3 (31:41):
No? Exactly on the second one?
Speaker 2 (31:45):
I don't know the extra one. But part one of
is great as well.
Speaker 4 (31:48):
So yeah I should listen to but yeah, well what
tune that is? But yeah, that's it's weird. It's like
there's a loads of Part two's that and I didn't.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Even realize that.
Speaker 4 (32:01):
I don't know because you you've listened to Paramore's which happened?
Speaker 3 (32:06):
Is it? I guess it is the album that's got
a fun and everyone? Have you listened to that full album?
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Which album the.
Speaker 3 (32:13):
One that's got like ain't it fun? And like spinning
to you? And like the songs you like? Basically a new.
Speaker 5 (32:18):
One that's not the that's the is it?
Speaker 2 (32:25):
I'm trying to think if it's the I can't remember
the new song that was really popular. There's it's not
hard Times, Yeah, it's not that album okay rights as well.
Speaker 3 (32:37):
I don't care what's called the album.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
But anyway, yeah, I've probably listened to this, remember.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
Just simply because there's there's a song of part two
on there. Yeah, And I was like, I didn't think
of anything, and I was listening. I was like, I
recognize a song, but I don't know what from. But
it turns out it's basically like a continuation of once
from the Arab or Riot albums Let the Flames, Yeah,
(33:05):
Let the Flames Begin.
Speaker 3 (33:06):
And I didn't even realize it, and I listened. I
was like, oh my god.
Speaker 4 (33:09):
It was like it's one of those realizations like suddenly
like wow, okay, it's actually like carrying on or like
it's sort of speaking in past tense instead of present tense,
which I think is really cool.
Speaker 3 (33:21):
Like it's such a like cool little like nod to it.
Speaker 4 (33:23):
And this is what I want to also bring because
you need to do it is the sleep token, like
they very much.
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Go back to, like or they sing about.
Speaker 4 (33:33):
It's almost continuation of songs from like year like when
they first started, and it's all like you can tell
that they've like some of the lyrics.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
You compare it and it's like once again like the
present tense.
Speaker 4 (33:45):
You know, it does stuff like this, and it's it's
so I love how they do that, bring it back
to like you know, it's like a little easter exit
in songs.
Speaker 3 (33:53):
It's like a little nod to like that song.
Speaker 4 (33:55):
And of course they use similar sound like with those
with like Slee Token the Cameral two songs is but
basically they sound almost identical, but the tone of the
song is completely different, like one's a bit more aggressive,
whereas the next one's quite calm.
Speaker 3 (34:12):
So it's like Steve Token. One best thing about them
is that they have a story.
Speaker 4 (34:17):
The whole thing is like, if you listen to all
of it, it's a story, which I think is awesome.
Speaker 3 (34:21):
I think that's so cool. I don't want to have
tangent too much on slip Tooken, but you need to
listen to listen, listen to all of them. It's so good,
so good.
Speaker 2 (34:32):
By the way, if you search Pastier on YouTube, you
have to throw it down very far to find part one.
Speaker 3 (34:41):
No one knows it. That's why.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
Anyway, my movie Slash TV show Choice, I'm still I
got it as we get right out to it, because
I and it's hard.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Well, if you pick one, then we couldn't say the
other one is the group collective because knowing knowing the
two choices, that will probably be the right call.
Speaker 2 (35:11):
That be hard though, because even with the other one
you're thinking of, we, like many of us, had the felt.
Speaker 7 (35:19):
Sorry, yeah I did, I already.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
And it would be guy you're paying probably unless you
already got rid of it. But okay, I am going
to hopefully and not pick Planet off the story.
Speaker 1 (35:43):
I thought you were going to pick that.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
I know it's really hard not to buy would explain
my workings. I am going to pick Tora.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
Dora, ID know, I didn't know even then came out
and hasn't it annoyed it?
Speaker 2 (36:02):
I mean I took Cloud out immediately again of mind,
but then I saw Todora and I'm like, oh, I
have a difficulty here, and I really do to do right.
It's a it's a you know, teenage school life romantic comedy.
I can talk about it like the way I talk
about your name, which I have done on this podcast,
where it doesn't Toro Door doesn't reach very far, but
(36:26):
but it nails what it does very well. And I
after my first watching of it. I enjoyed. I loved
it the first time, but it got better the more
I watched it. And this is the only time I'm
going to say this, particularly when they released an English
dub for it. Normally I wouldn't have bothered to try
(36:46):
it that because even if it's a good dub, like
you know, what's that going to add? I don't know why,
but I felt like, for tor Dora, the sort of
show that is, it kind of would be good to
watch dubs. So I tried it. I tried it out,
and they really really nailed it. Like just the vibe
of it they like, you know, teenagers being silly, and
(37:10):
just the way that they interact with each other in
English for me, added so much more to it. Every
time I think I joked it, like every time I
watched it, I increased the rating by one on male
because I think it literally from seven to eight to nine,
or now I think I went from eight to nine
to ten.
Speaker 3 (37:27):
Like I think I actually.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
Pat a ten in the end, like it was an
eighth person of all it's now a ten. It's like
right up there along with kind of an after story, right.
I don't know, it's just something about it it's like, really,
it sort of has built in nostalgia. Somethings like that, right,
they have nostalgia. I'm a very nostalgic person anyway, but
like somethings just have nostalgia before the first time you
(37:49):
watch them, you know, I don't know, that probably makes
no sense, but it's got that effect for me, whatever
that means. And the characters are great, the intagiously, it's funny, heartwarming,
it's a lot of great things.
Speaker 1 (38:03):
So for nostalgia for Risca, he is saying he gets
followed by a girl with a wooden sword to thrash
it around at him when he was in high school.
Speaker 2 (38:15):
No, unfortunately, but yeah, no, I mean is good.
Speaker 3 (38:21):
So oh, it's brilliant.
Speaker 2 (38:24):
I did not pick Clannard after.
Speaker 1 (38:26):
Story because I but like, obviously was it. Code Gears
also came out that year as well, so I was.
Speaker 4 (38:37):
It's not that's not content. I'm really those if it's
just do I mean, look what else is there? But
with those two already, I'd be exactly the same position
as Rafa.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
I wouldn't. I would have no idea which one to pick.
Speaker 4 (38:48):
I think I probably would do exactly say though, because
I'm in the same boat where I watched it. Every
single time I watched it, the rating went up and
up and up and up, and I was like, this
is just like it's a master feece. So at the
end of the day, it's like it's abstutely but it's
just brilliant and class story is basically the same. But
I think with the fact, I mean, Iron played the game,
(39:08):
but I think I would, I would imagine playing the
game is a better experience anyway than than.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
You know, watching after story.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
Do you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (39:18):
Yeah, Well, that's that's part of it, right, because if
I watched our story again, and I've tried to watch
the Clan anime again, I watched maybe five to eight episodes,
and having played the visual novel, those that opening part
of clanet like, quite frankly, it's bad, Like it's not good.
(39:40):
It's not a good adaptation of the vision novel, which
you would never know if you hadn't played the visual novel,
but if you have, you realize it's bad. And then
after story, without going into spoilers, but there's a a
lot of our story doesn't won't suffer from the same
issue because it's a more cohesive storyline anyway. However, it's
(40:02):
a few points at the end of it where like
at the time it's probably too caught up in the
emotion to care too much, but knowing how it's meant
to work, how watching how it works in that I'll
be like why. I mean, I don't know why because
it's impossible otherwise, but like it's I'm gonna watch it
(40:22):
and be like when I wasn't as good as the game.
That doesn't make an he's in that, so I know
if I watch it again, it won't be as good
as the initial emotional hit that it had, but it
is very good in a lot of ways that show.
Speaker 1 (40:38):
And I would have had a better experience of Triangle
Ahead didn't ruin it for me over a three sixty
voice chat.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
That doesn't even ruin Hill.
Speaker 4 (40:48):
I was like, what's that Hill got to do any
of it?
Speaker 2 (40:52):
I mean, you've seen Kladen now and you know that
that technically isn't even a spoiler, but yes, that did happen.
Speaker 1 (40:59):
Well, if someone who's watching it wouldn't expect it, then yeah,
probably it did hit because I was like, I thought, oh,
he's probably lying or joking, like like just to throw
me off. But yeah, it was just one of those things.
Uh yeah, I do you.
Speaker 3 (41:15):
Think, sorry just quickly?
Speaker 4 (41:17):
Do you think though the emotional do it with the
lives tore around plan after story? I think the emotional
level that clan had actually had it is like, to
this day, I don't even think there's really anything else
that's actually made me feeled that way as that show.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
That show did where it was almost I don't. I
don't even know how to describe it.
Speaker 4 (41:38):
It's just so it's so strange to have something like
be that emotionally like damaging, I guess in a way
because it's just I just don't. I mean, you know,
at the end of the day, I don't want to.
I won't spoil it in case people haven't seen it,
but you I mean, it's not seen. It about how
it's mental, but it really is like the ending and
(41:59):
everything and all the lead up to it is but
it is so it's so there, it's so there. It's
like one of the top thing piece of media I've
ever seen that's made me feel like, wow, this is
just it's it's brilliant, absolutely brilliant. But yeah, Found Clouds
would definitely on power.
Speaker 1 (42:20):
Me so.
Speaker 2 (42:23):
Yeah, but that's the third one that might have snuck
in there in a way is Spicyle. That's that like,
that's a nice thing that is just going to be
ignored because the other two remake also a Shooter music
video that obviously sparked an entire franchise. Indeed, but we'll
(42:50):
talk more about Mek a bit later on.
Speaker 3 (42:56):
That's not.
Speaker 2 (42:59):
Right. I guess we're done with the year segments.
Speaker 4 (43:02):
Yeah, I mean saying it's got any honorable mentions they
want to say about.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
The horrible mentions or horrible mentions way a stratituy and
like the Gratitude two eights. What the hell Pixar movie
(43:27):
come out in two thousand and eight? Have think No,
I'm googling, going, oh my god, it was as well
horrible mention Wally? I love that?
Speaker 3 (43:42):
Would you chose that over? No?
Speaker 2 (43:46):
It's say that's right, however, like Wally is really good though.
Speaker 3 (43:51):
What actually never seen the way through.
Speaker 1 (43:55):
Talk about Wally This month, I don't know which day
is they're really they're they're releasing a new lego set
of Wally and Eve with mop interesting, which I might
purchase your parents.
Speaker 2 (44:20):
That is solid. I even know characters like you, I
like Wally because it has like the opening forty minutes
or so, has no actual dialogue in a children's movie,
And I think, yeah, sure, you're Disney, you can. You
(44:40):
have the money to try these things. But like that's
pretty adventurous, I would say, And you know, you could
argue that, like, you know, big name animated movies for
a long time, especially after Wally, but even before Wally,
are not that's creative as an adventures is. Maybe I
(45:00):
wish they were, But the opening stanza of Wally is,
and I appreciate that. It was also the first thing
I had a Blu ray of and I watched on
Blu ray on my parents brand new like hag TV.
Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (45:14):
It's so I watched it in the cinema and never
watched it again. Unfortunate noise once when I was on TV,
but other than that, yeah, it's just cinema. It was good,
and then never got around to watching it again.
Speaker 2 (45:31):
Did you put on your Sunday clothes? Lots of world
out there? Huh, it's Wally reference anyway, pointing out whenever
I watched The Apprentice with my parents, I would always
point out when they use soundtrack of Wally because they
did it many many, many many times in that Wow,
(45:53):
I don't know, well I should watch or had the
soundtrack on your iTunes as.
Speaker 1 (45:59):
I you're fine an segment time and yeah, who's in
it in the first one? Oh it's guy with who
I'm seeing here? It says w or L.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
Yeah, I mean in fairness like it's loads of videos
come out.
Speaker 3 (46:20):
But anyway, so.
Speaker 2 (46:21):
Yeah, why is this specific Instagram video the.
Speaker 3 (46:26):
Sound I just didn't got to like, you just didn't
do anything. It's just stupid.
Speaker 4 (46:31):
But yes, what I'm mentioning the upcoming game of folloween,
which is going to be cool.
Speaker 3 (46:38):
I think it looks pretty cool. I do like a
bit of a horror game.
Speaker 4 (46:41):
And when I saw everyone, I mean, people are going
crazy about it, probably because they actually like Halloween. I
don't think I've seen one of them. They're pretty cool. Like,
you know, Michael MEAs is cool saying everyone knows the
song as well, you know, everyone knows a little tune
that he has a pretty cool of course, like by
like brings that stuff out more anyway, But yeah, I
(47:03):
don't know what it's going to be like, I'm assuming
like a Friday the thirteenth fesc game ish like more like,
you know, there's someone who plays as Michael Myers and
the others the people trying to escape, basically like Friday
the thirteenth, and I people don't really like Right the
thirteenth game, but I generally think it's a really good game.
Speaker 2 (47:24):
I've thought when when you said showed this, it's like, yeah,
as far as I know that game is bad, played it.
Speaker 3 (47:34):
Do you not play Friday? No? Really did? That's the
reason for you do ad it? But yeah, yeah, I
mean it's not anything. I think that the problem with.
Speaker 4 (47:47):
That game was the fact that they needed you needed
like I think I think he could be.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
Sport Survivors and then someone playing.
Speaker 4 (47:56):
Is Jason Vorhes, and like if you had all of
those people, it was really good because you could have
like a group, you know, one of who's playing as
Killer like that. But I don't I guess you know,
it does it better, but it is like can get
a bit boring. So but yeah, I I generally think
it looks like it'd be pretty cool. You know. I
(48:18):
want more horror games, and I like horror multiplayer horror
games instead of like Jump Scarce Central ones because I
won't play.
Speaker 3 (48:25):
Those because I'm too much a baby to play.
Speaker 4 (48:27):
Those, but anything like you know, you can get friends
on go online. It's like, I don't know if you
guys have seen it, but the Outlast Trials, like they
think that that would be.
Speaker 3 (48:36):
A really good game to play and stream.
Speaker 4 (48:39):
It looks quite funny, but I don't know.
Speaker 3 (48:43):
If it's on PlayStation. PlayStation might be, but I'm not
paying for it. But yeah, it's generally looks quite quite interesting.
Speaker 4 (48:50):
I want to see what they do with it, and
you know, just sort of yeah, it goes, I guess
throughout the years, so whenever it comes out, I don't
know when, but interestedly.
Speaker 2 (49:00):
I just watched like another video of it, like on YouTube,
and it has the music, and honestly, the music to
me is just By Daylight music at this point.
Speaker 3 (49:09):
Yeah, I know that's the issue.
Speaker 2 (49:11):
That is the issue making a horror like some you know,
what's what's the word asymmetrical multiplayer game, which is probably
what it will be. It's hard to beat Dead by
Daylight even with all its flaws, because I mean, you've
got like every killer ever anyway, including just K pop
artists as killers and ship Yeah, a spongebobbin area and ground,
(49:34):
which honestly, I'm all therefore, I think both of those
would sway me. I'm sure, but like, yeah, I don't know.
I feel like, you know, it's good. It's like it
was hard to play.
Speaker 3 (49:46):
It a lot.
Speaker 2 (49:47):
Probably I don't know. I obviously have to see what
it is and how it is.
Speaker 4 (49:51):
But I mean, if you, I guess, if you play
for the thirteenth, like I said, I'm assuming it probably
more like that, which I think I don'tally think does
better than does anyway, because I think that by daylight
it's just a bit the premise I always finds weird anyway.
It's like you've got to generators to then get a
door open. You're like in this place, you know. I mean,
(50:11):
there's obviously lord to describe it, but it's just a
bit like it generally feels like, oh, let's put as
many micro Jones actions and popular figures in this, and
there's not really a law, like not really a story.
It just feels a bit bland, whereas like probably the
farateenth is just basically the story of Friday the farteenth.
Speaker 3 (50:28):
You know, you're the.
Speaker 4 (50:29):
Council where council work as well the camp counselors and
you're just trying to escape and you can escape by
different means like buy a car by phone in the police.
Speaker 3 (50:38):
Like, so it's cool. Like that's what I liked about it.
Speaker 4 (50:41):
And you know, it just didn't get as much love
as it probably should have, which is a shame. But
hopefully this will this will you know, pick start something else,
so be interesting to see.
Speaker 2 (50:54):
We'll have to see next up from a row there
are number one era with two hundred and thirty six minterviews.
Came about Dereamon Hunters. It's officially the most popular in
Netflix film of all time.
Speaker 1 (51:07):
Way too goodly and you're basically read what I was
going to say.
Speaker 2 (51:10):
Anyway, it's only now you otherwise you would have just
said it would.
Speaker 1 (51:19):
But yeah, it is. As Resker said, it is now
become the most viewed Netflix movie of all time. Came up.
Demon Hunters has been thrashing, breaking records music wise, in
the charts now movie wise with Netflix. It keeps growing
(51:40):
and growing. It won't stop. I've watched it. I need
to watch it again. But I wanted to watch it
while I was showing other people because that's where us
how I like what rewatching stuff is to like do
when I'm watching with other people afterwards. But I do
need to get these guys to watch it because it
is actually worth it even if you're not into like
(52:01):
the whole K dramas or K pop in general. It
is as good as a standalone movie if you can
get past the title. Because it has mentioned before a
few people were put off because of the title because
they're not into that kind of stuff. But it actually
is like it will make it standalone movie without people
into K pop music or K dramas and all that,
(52:24):
which is loosely based on But yeah, it is now
it might be more, but yeah, it is now two
hundred and thirty six million views on Netflix and it is.
I'm on Netflix now and I'm checking to see if
it's still number one slotka for some reason on why
app it's I can't say, oh no, it's been Oh
(52:46):
it's now moved down to number three on the top
ten of the UK of the UK charts is just something.
The top two top two is something that's just come
out called The Thursday Murder Club, which is literally I
guess the game that we played, but it's the other words.
Speaker 2 (53:09):
And it sounds like.
Speaker 1 (53:12):
And unknown number of the High School Catfish, which is
number two, is number three. Number four is Thanksgiving which
has been added, but number five which has just been
recently added as well, which is the K Pop Demon
Hunters sing a long version that was released in the
(53:33):
So those versions of the movie are in the top ten,
still high numbers, but they have been number one for
for a very long time. I think the US might
might still have it number one, but I've got the
UK version. But yeah, I've got some k Pop Demon
(53:54):
stuff on the way that I have pre ordered that
it's coming out soon, so I'll be tweeting, blue skying
or and discording those things when they arrive.
Speaker 2 (54:06):
YouTube community ing.
Speaker 3 (54:08):
YouTube what No, he hates he hates YouTube, darn.
Speaker 1 (54:13):
I will yeah, I will make a short video on
my YouTube channel.
Speaker 3 (54:18):
You can you.
Speaker 2 (54:18):
Can know, you can make texts and image person on YouTube.
You must seen them. I've shown you my war but
like you must see them browsing.
Speaker 1 (54:27):
You're going to be partnered for that? No god, no, okay,
well if you.
Speaker 2 (54:32):
You might have to verify your channel, but like.
Speaker 1 (54:34):
Okay, if you can help me with that, I will
do it on YouTube as well. She's keeping on all
my socials and has the socials with the stuff that
I will be showing off the wecals. Yes socials, because
it's my turn again. I'll say it this time. So
Rescues is still my thunder. But it is something for
(54:55):
Riscer because I know how much likes his pickles. So
thing for him to go back to Canada to try
is the new KFC pickle menu hashtag not sponsored, but
I wish we were KFC as long as the pickle
PEPSI in Canada. It is part of a new pickle
(55:16):
filled menu with a chicken sandwich, fried pickles, outloaded.
Speaker 2 (55:23):
Fries, loaded fries. Isn't even necessarily pickle. It looks like
it's oh yes, pickle.
Speaker 1 (55:33):
So pickle rick memes. There will be probably Stuart pickle stuff,
you know if it was a.
Speaker 2 (55:42):
Stew pickles man. Beyond that light, it's actual pickles like
the food. So no, if it does mhm, oh.
Speaker 1 (55:58):
Well, if it does well, and as we're in the UK,
we will probably do a taste video.
Speaker 2 (56:05):
I can just be camera man for that one.
Speaker 1 (56:07):
Fuck that, Nah, you'll be trying the pickles. We'll order something.
I guess we'll order the one and then we'll share
it and like give off verdict. I don't mind them
because I have them in like the normal burger when
I go to mcdonta. Anyway, do we have to eat
from both ends of the burger? Yes, if you want so,
(56:29):
we can meme it for our fans who like meming
us that way, Let's go with that. But yeah, that
would be interesting. Anybody in Canada, do let us know
what it's like?
Speaker 2 (56:42):
I have I have, I have insider info for you.
I saw this when you post it this. I sent
it to uh the racing betuber who I know that
as obsessed with pickles and lives in Canada, and she's
tried it. She mam soul has tried this and and
she said it was and I quote dog ship.
Speaker 3 (57:04):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (57:08):
I want to know what the drink is going to
be like, because that's that's that's a bit of an experiment,
I think.
Speaker 2 (57:17):
I mean the picture I don't have the picture is
like the actual thing, but like it's literally pepsi with
some pickle slices in it. I'm like, that's that's not
like good in any way.
Speaker 1 (57:30):
I know you do that with fruit and drinks, but
like you know, that's a bit of a yeah, a strange,
just like I'll have a side with like you know
where they put like I'll have it in a fancy
wine glass where they put like the fruit on the
rim of the glass. I'll have it with a side
of pickle going through the glass like the.
Speaker 4 (57:50):
Because obviously you've got a picture of the they're banging.
Speaker 3 (57:55):
They're really good.
Speaker 2 (57:56):
Is a lot of popcorn chicken with pickle in.
Speaker 3 (57:58):
It shuoming issues the slim chickens?
Speaker 2 (58:03):
Yeah around.
Speaker 1 (58:08):
That would be yeah, interesting if it does make its
way over here. But a lot of stuff probably we
don't get fancy, weird concoctions in this country. It's maybe
maybe I should on myself, but I guess it's now
(58:30):
Guy's term with his little soul. I do too, but
he's here, he is saying things.
Speaker 3 (58:43):
His canceled. But yeah, what what is my next thing?
Then tell me what is that?
Speaker 1 (58:50):
If I just read it out, let's just be seeing
me taking it like rescue. But you're gonna be just
introducing the topic news from koy more.
Speaker 3 (59:07):
It is the problem I do.
Speaker 1 (59:10):
But then you give me the thing to read out
in the first place that I put in the first
places of you reading all of it. But yeah, it's
obviously guy, you're sure segment on video games take it away?
Speaker 4 (59:20):
It is, yes, video games, and that's the end of
the segment.
Speaker 2 (59:28):
Stole fool.
Speaker 4 (59:31):
But anyway, so the plus games, I mean, I don't know,
like you guys as seen which games these are. I mean,
do you have strong opinions about these, because I'm not impressed.
Speaker 1 (59:45):
I'm kind of the same here. But I thinks is
going to kick himself because one of them is for
free that he literally has bought.
Speaker 2 (59:53):
I mean not actually saying that game. So no, it's
not a big deal. And plus it's it's as four version. Anyway,
I played that game with mods. Stardo Valley is one
of the games. I played that game in mods, so
obviously PlayStation four version will not have that. I don't
(01:00:13):
know if you find it. It looks like is that going
to be like a Pokemon Snap like but without Pokemon
sort of thing.
Speaker 3 (01:00:20):
I'll tell you what, because I have actually played a
bit of you Finder, Really is it?
Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
It's actually a game, which when I saw it announced,
it was like, I don't care. Then I realized it's
actually a game I've been It was keep my eye.
I on like last year it came out. But what
you do is you.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
It's just it's hard to explain. It's obviously got some
sort of story behind it.
Speaker 4 (01:00:43):
But you pick up photos and then when you you
pick them up and you place them down and they
become the environment. So, for example, you place the photo
down in front of you, like it's a puzzle game.
So you put a phote down in front of you.
Maybe there's one that's got like a bridge on it,
so you place that photo down to then make a
bridge and it becomes free D. So the two D
(01:01:05):
image you place down then becomes free D in the world.
So it's actually like a really like I find it,
Like it's a really cool sort of puzzly like you know,
it's one of those typical games, like I said, it's
as far as I've only played, like a few minutes,
not a few minutes, but like a half an hour
maybe out of it, and it's I don't know what
the story is, but you go through levels and yeah,
(01:01:27):
you find these pictures and you've got to find your
way to pick up like a battery or or get
through this door. You know, there's like a gate. One
of them is like a blocked off door and then
you pick up a photo that's got like an archway,
an open archway, and of course you place it in
front of that door and then you can walk through it.
Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
Sort of thing.
Speaker 4 (01:01:43):
So it is quite cool and it's a bit like,
I guess, like The Witness in a way if you
play that, like a very puzzly sort of thing.
Speaker 3 (01:01:51):
It's not as hard as that, but it's you.
Speaker 4 (01:01:54):
Know, it's not right game like, and to get it
for free, I don't care, you know, fine fine for me.
I mean, yeah, Starting Valley is is one that's probably
I'd probably play the most out of those, but I
have it anyway, so it's a bit pointless, and I
haven't played it since then.
Speaker 3 (01:02:12):
But we should.
Speaker 4 (01:02:14):
I think we all should play it and do our
own farm saying.
Speaker 3 (01:02:19):
Yes, yes as farm.
Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
I wonder what we'll find the warm news, so yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:02:33):
Yeah, anyone played that, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
I probably give the puzzle game a try, But other
than that, they don't really look.
Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
That interesting that they don't interest you.
Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
I guess. With the next segment, it's kind of it
of both mine and Rescue because I'm the one that
told him about it. But he's himself, so I will
let rescue this one, because the next one.
Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
I wrote was and I quote pink digestive. It was
a five exclamation five question mark.
Speaker 1 (01:03:10):
And that's what. Well, the context is digestive biscuits. I
recently had white chocolate ones and told me how good
I bought them.
Speaker 2 (01:03:21):
Today four have gone already, and I've considered getting them
during this recording, and it's bad.
Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
I was when we were talking about it. I was
slightly choking on them, but other than that, and then
I found out they were they were my sister's biscuits anyway,
so I got pulled off for that.
Speaker 2 (01:03:39):
That's how the conversations died.
Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
Into your room.
Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
Well they yeah, they did come into my own cale.
Have you have you had any of these? And I've
had a couple Whilst I was chewing one, I was
choking anyway, Yeah, but digestive biscuits. Otherwise, we've got the
golden ones as well, which are like the caramel kind
of ones, the double chocolate ones, and now I have
(01:04:05):
seen but not tasted the new whatever they're called pink
digested pink, which I don't raspberry and cream, and I
do like raspberry, so I when I get If I
ever get the chance of find them and buying them,
I will buy them and do a taste test.
Speaker 4 (01:04:28):
Can I Can I just say no? Can I just
stay for like a biscuit sash cookie? If you had
the Subway raspberry and my chocolate.
Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
Yes, that was my go to it every time I
had a subway I'm not a subway in a year,
but anyway, those were That was my go to cookie
when I had a subway cookie. But I so keep
an eye out for I guess socials as well, because
once I have tasted it, I will let you know
(01:04:56):
my thoughts. If not tweeting, wise, mention it in the
next podcast if I get one. Yes, but now I'm
going to roll over to the next one. I am
going to But if there is any Pokemon shiny hunters
out there, there has been an actual discovery of a
(01:05:18):
real life shiny animal because a rare bright orange nurse
shark has been discovered in Costa Rica, which.
Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
You have a question.
Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
The doctor sharks, Doctor Stone, No, No, they they've gotten
They got the name because they're the more like friendly
shark species. See, that's one of the reasons why they
call them shark.
Speaker 2 (01:05:48):
Why doctors aren't friendly, so they we hate them.
Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
Anyway. Yes, so our real life shiny animal has been
discovered because it's at the moment is the one of
its own kind and they usually are a light brown
to gray color, but this one has been discovered and
hard to miss because it's bright orange, which is pretty cool.
(01:06:17):
And if I ever do go to Costa Rica, I
want to try to find it or find if it
has any offspring that also orange. But that is quite
an interesting find that we're actually getting shiny speechies in
real life.
Speaker 2 (01:06:36):
When when when's the norse shark getting a community to
day because.
Speaker 1 (01:06:43):
One of its kind unless it has offspring, And it
gets like, that's.
Speaker 2 (01:06:49):
Not how shiny work, and you know it, come on.
Speaker 1 (01:06:53):
But I have I will do my research on this
for the next podcast. But there has been quite a
number of animals that have had this phenomenon. But I
need to research because at my head I can't think
of anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:07:05):
It's basically a natural selection sort of thing happening.
Speaker 3 (01:07:08):
Right.
Speaker 2 (01:07:08):
It is a mutation that may or may not.
Speaker 1 (01:07:11):
Yeah, may or may not like yeah, because it will
even though it's a shark, being bright orange will make
it an easy one will make it a more visible
target because usually where they're in the depths, where they
are in the ocean, they're light brown to gray color
kind of like blends them into the background. Yeah, target,
(01:07:34):
I don't know what might try and take this out
as a snack, but it will be interesting to see
if this guy survives or if somebody doesn't end up
stealing it, because as a rare collection, like you hear
a lot of them in the in stories where like
rare animals get like that kind of treatment or what
(01:07:54):
a safer bet. I hope as research visicity has taken
it in for a while, just like basically look after
it for a bit and like do some studies on
it to see why it was, why it was born orange,
or if there's been any more genetic changes to it
that makes it a little bit different from its counterparts.
But I hope it's doing well. I will probably do
(01:08:16):
some more research on this and see how it's doing.
But yeah, it's quite an interesting story because I do
like secreatures as well, so yes, wow, I guess that's
me makes as well as and if by the looks
a bit of what I put in.
Speaker 3 (01:08:30):
Their thing, start putting stuff in.
Speaker 1 (01:08:34):
I think, yeah, so this might be a good thing
for a guy, because I know how a guy loves
his Caller Duty. But Paramount is reportably in talks to
inquire the movie rights to call a Duty franchise. Yeah,
take on this, and what do you think they'll do
with it?
Speaker 3 (01:08:55):
Think on me?
Speaker 4 (01:08:56):
I don't, I just because like it depends if they
If they want to stick to the games, it'd probably
be all right, But then they're probably going to do anything.
Speaker 3 (01:09:05):
I would imagine if they're actually going to do it,
and I don't know, if they have the character, isn't
it great?
Speaker 4 (01:09:11):
You could easily be a good series, slash film, whatever
they do of it, because.
Speaker 3 (01:09:16):
Well, let's face, everyone knows the games.
Speaker 4 (01:09:18):
Will make the best TV series and all films. At
the moment, they're massively high.
Speaker 1 (01:09:23):
Paramo did that with Halo. I think they've done two seasons.
Speaker 3 (01:09:27):
Yeah, I think that's crap. But I think that'll be
the exception of the rule.
Speaker 4 (01:09:32):
I don't know, but yeah, generally yeah, I think, well,
you know, if if they can do it, do it, well,
there's no reason why it shouldn't.
Speaker 3 (01:09:40):
You know, it shouldn't do well, It'll be interesting, it
would be interesting.
Speaker 1 (01:09:45):
Why do you think WESCO with all these live actions
being made of certain franchises, I mean, I honestly, I
bet I probably wouldn't go and see a Call Duty
movie anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
That's kind of where I'm at with that.
Speaker 1 (01:09:59):
I mean, I cared much about many of the campaigns really,
so it's like watch something unless I mean, I mean
it's probably animated when they make this movie.
Speaker 3 (01:10:14):
Massively heavily c GI.
Speaker 2 (01:10:17):
Doing doing the like ice pick on, you know, on
the cliff face scene in real life, that's for sure.
But I don't know. I mean, if it's if it is,
like if it's a Black Ops movie specifically like the
original Black Ops, then yeah, you know that that that
campaign was very good. I thought that's probably it. I mean,
(01:10:40):
maybe she's keep a limited movie would be good, you know,
get Marvel involved.
Speaker 1 (01:10:44):
I never never thought, obviously the campaign itself is a story,
so I never, as I was talking about, I never
thought maybe they could just turn the campaign into it
into the story.
Speaker 2 (01:10:56):
That's that's kind of my one thing. And I think
back like Modern Warfare three would I watch, Like I'm
not compelled to go back and replay a more war
first three as campaign, So why would I watch a
movie of it of that campaign, right, Like, I'm not
if it's a new story, which is probably most likely
what it will be, then also why should I care?
(01:11:17):
I don't know. I wouldn't be that interested if it
is black ops And yeah, maybe it'd be kind of interested.
Speaker 3 (01:11:21):
I think that cinematic.
Speaker 2 (01:11:24):
It was a cinematic campaign. I think about the scenes
at the end that I do remember, and it's like,
that'd be cool. I mean, part of it is, you know,
to change a lot because a part of it is
it's very choreographed for a first person view. Yeah, so
it would be very different anyway. But you know, it's
a good campaign and maybe it would work. But I
(01:11:45):
think it would be a brand new, like original story,
which which does doesn't interest me.
Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
Yeah, game games turned into movies and TV series. I
did like when I come which company did it? I
think it was Netflix made The Assassin's Creed into a
movie that it wasn't because I went to watch in
the cinema, so it would have been Yeah, so I
went to go.
Speaker 8 (01:12:19):
The problem is that movie was bad enjoyable because it's
like an Assassin's Creed story, and I liked how they
came up with their own like Animus where you're like
connected to it and you can still do You're moving around,
like you can see where you are, You're not like
lying on your table.
Speaker 1 (01:12:39):
That one was pretty cool. How they came up with
another version of the Animus, but there were but on
a slight tangent though they are going to Really they
are working on Assassin's Creed TV series, so I'm going
to look forward to that and give them my ADVERTI
that would work because my Assassin's Creed franchise games it's
(01:13:00):
just stream I did and then I stopped. But on
other news, Apple Music now let you transfer your music
and playlists from other services such as Spotify.
Speaker 2 (01:13:18):
I mean, that would have been good at the end
of twenty sixteen when I switched from my three months
of Spotify a head to Apple Music. However, honestly, I
just added I just Readded Hamilton and Ariana Grande songs
to my library and like then I was done. So
(01:13:39):
that was fine what I wanted to, I mean, to
be fair, I was using iTunes before Spotify, right, so,
like I already That's why I got three months of
Spotify because it was like fifty nine p's right. It
was like, yeah, why not? And then I've realized, oh,
I like having all the music in the world available
streaming in my phone.
Speaker 3 (01:14:00):
Good.
Speaker 2 (01:14:01):
And then it was when when that three months ended,
it's like okay, time to sign up for Apple Music,
not Spotify. That's what my music was anyway, And I
do really like what Apple does with like if you
have stuff that isn't in their catalog, Like let's say
you buy a song from Bandcamp from a band that
is non streaming, that will upload it like added iTunes
(01:14:23):
uploads it to the cloud and then you could stream
that to your phone even though it's not on streaming
and like that's like super worth it for me.
Speaker 1 (01:14:32):
And about Spotify Quickly, which I found on the news
quite recently, do you what do you think of the
ability to DM other people on Spotify?
Speaker 2 (01:14:44):
I mean, it's not much even to dming with people elsewhere.
Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
It's a bit is it's weird interesting because it's a
music streaming site.
Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
Yeah, well you see it's interesting that, like, let's go
into a little bit of a history music streaming services.
I have to remember, I got to remind myself what
this was called. Well I'm about to talk about but
these services I mean, Apple are in a lot of
like pies and their fingers at pies, right, but like Spotify,
(01:15:12):
Spotify is very like one lane right. Yeah, they have
the audio books and podcasts, but you know that all
comes under like the music umbrellery. What Spotify, I'm sure
want to do is to add features and stuff like that,
to expand beyond that a little bit and make Spotify
a place that you stay on because right now you
go on these your music app whatever it may be,
(01:15:33):
to listen to music, and that's it for Spotify as
a business. They probably wanted you to say on a
bit more if it became a music social network, Well,
wouldn't that be good? However, this has been tried before.
H Do you remember, and I haven't thought about this
in a long time. Do you remember iTunes ping no vague? Yeah?
(01:15:56):
iTunes and not Apple Music iTunes right, because this is
a long time ago. iTunes tried to implement a social
network within like iTunes, right. I don't even sure this
appeared on mobile like this launched a twenty ten and
was just discontinued in twenty twelve, so it was not
a success. Long story short, but yeah, there was a
(01:16:19):
social network within iTunes, and there is a little bit
of it an Apple Music, but it's mainly just following
your friends. And then if I scroll right down to
the bottom of the homepage, I actually follow you guys
on there. I don't know why we don't. Yeah, it
comes up telling me what my one friend is listening to.
Sometimes I wonder if he sees all the vature. I
don't to this skuy much anymore. We're at all for
(01:16:41):
a long time. Did he see like the YouTuber songs
I listened to?
Speaker 3 (01:16:46):
Think?
Speaker 2 (01:16:47):
Yeah, I wonder, so that's funny. But yeah, I don't know.
It's a logical thing of Spotify to try and do
it has been tried before. I don't think it would
take off, but it would be interesting to see because
I already feel as an Apple Music user, I feel
a little bit. I mean, it's the right talking to
(01:17:08):
you guys because you guys happen to also be Apple
Music users. But most people aren't, right. And then what
I want to say about this feature, this importing stuff.
I want to import other people's playlists, That's what I
want because people, there's loads of Spotify players. Everyone does
it in Spotify, you know, it's the default platform for
I play. This share of sharing music is Spotify, right, Yeah,
(01:17:28):
I want to be able to like, hey, that link
into my Apple Music app and like it generates it.
That's just what they should do with whatever they built already.
But yeah, I don't want Spotify torik a more of
a central thing. Just talking about like the usability and
popularity of the thing here more than anything else. Like
if Spotify becomes like the hub of music talk and
(01:17:51):
not that I'm involved in that, but you know what
I mean, Like, if if Spotify becomes more the place
to be, it's kind of annoying as someone who doesn't
use it. I could use it, but as I mentioned
with the stream, I mean, I don't I like what
Apple offers to future wise, like.
Speaker 4 (01:18:05):
I did try because when I be follow up of
music well before probably existed.
Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
I guess I did try Spotify, but I never could
click of it. I don't know why. I just I
just didn't like it's like interface.
Speaker 2 (01:18:17):
I just I actually agree, yeah, genuine, I really we
have it at work, right, we have a just shared
Spotify account. How I was in the office and so
I don't even use the app for that. I just
got on the website and it's already linked to the
speaker or whatever. But like I can't find the library,
like I know, it's weird. I can't. I can't see
(01:18:41):
my music like I'm I feel like a boomer, but
I can't find my actual music library in the same way.
At least the Apple Music presents such a thing, and
of course iTunes prior to it, it still does so
like you know, you can customize your homepage your library page,
and Apple is it a bit but I've got you know,
it's large as album songs and a few other bids
(01:19:02):
them I recently added. I feel like in Spotify it's
just entirely presents you with you were recently added and
recently played and then like obviously featured things recommended. I'm
sure the mix is very good, like your automatic stuff is,
and I'm sure it's fantastic, probably better than Apple Music,
but like, where's my library met?
Speaker 4 (01:19:23):
The most important thing about having a music you know,
it's just your songs, So I don't know, yeah, I
think it's one of those again, there's and it's like
the same old question with like phones and that is
like it just depends what you're used to and what you.
I guess you brought up with or what you tried first.
You know, it's always it's always the same sort of thing.
But yeah, I do find it weird that people like
(01:19:46):
you said that everyone I know basically uses Spotify and
will only use Spotify.
Speaker 3 (01:19:50):
And I'm like, but you have an iPhone.
Speaker 4 (01:19:53):
I'm like, I just feel like you're an iPhone, like
Apple Music is the normal choice to make.
Speaker 1 (01:19:58):
I don't know, it just seems that's what that's my
problem as well, Like I'm I've got Apple Music. Well,
to be fair, I got I had it wow because obviously,
like all the deals I got was like, oh you
can have it for free for three months, and kept
rolling over and all that, so I just kept using it.
And then yeah, like as you said, it's just it's
easier on because obviously with an Apple device, and because
(01:20:19):
you go from iTunes to like Apple Music, it's the
same app. You just search the song instead, you can
add it instead of like buying it. Oh yeah, but
then talk to my sister and my brother their friends
or whatever, and it's just, yeah, Spotify seems to be
what they are using when like they put music on
(01:20:40):
the car or something. I just saved money. If you
guys would using Apple Music, I could do the Yeah,
That's why I kept saying it's run out. Can I
do the family plant? No, because we use Spotify and
say I'm you so yeah, I help. Yeah, It's just
(01:21:02):
weird seeing like like I got all my like songs
and playlists from Apple Music, and then like when it
runs out, they all just like disappear off my phone
and then you really you read buy it and then
you say sync to the library and it will come back.
Speaker 4 (01:21:16):
I never had I don't think i've actually since I've
had a music I think I've ever not had it,
which is weird.
Speaker 2 (01:21:22):
I guess, you know, mine expired last year, and I'm
going to have the same things that happened to me
one thing to you know, I guess because I can't
stop the ordering you, which is a good thing to do, obvious.
But the problem is if it if it, if you
don't like, if you let it be expired, it's delete
(01:21:43):
all your downloaded stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:21:49):
But I thought it real loaded because all you have
to do is go back into your settings and go
sync with library.
Speaker 2 (01:21:54):
And if you I mean, I mean, I mean.
Speaker 1 (01:21:59):
On like it like it does with mine.
Speaker 4 (01:22:01):
Because I literally download every song on mine because I've
got a lot of space on my phone.
Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
Yeah, but I.
Speaker 1 (01:22:10):
Don't download. I only use the streaming part because I
have a lot because I shawsam every anime opening and
ending that I like, and then I put on my phone,
So my phone is full of songs.
Speaker 3 (01:22:21):
That's how he cheats have very funny.
Speaker 1 (01:22:25):
Because I don't watch a lot anyway. Let me say,
put the train back on the track. Talking about downloading, Yeah,
I only the only songs I have downloaded when I
do that is the songs that I've turned into like
my ring tone or message stuff, because you've got to
download them first before you can make them into those
(01:22:46):
sort of things. RH So yeah, other than that, I
just use the streaming thing because like everywhere I go,
like four G always works apart from one stretch of
the roads. But because it's they covered couple of stuff
that you listened to a lot, it kind of like
does like a memory things and then it doesn't cut
out as often.
Speaker 2 (01:23:06):
Yeah, it's very good at like it loads kind of
the next handful of songs before like it's actually it
does a lot because the only reason I download right
is because I need I need scientist ify flights, right,
so I download, like some albums, I'm like, I don't
like Hamilton has to be downloaded. That's a right. Is
(01:23:26):
there a podcast I haven't mentioned?
Speaker 1 (01:23:28):
How Honestly, it's like when you try to get me
into Hamilton now because you found a nightcore version.
Speaker 2 (01:23:36):
Nightcore out. This is a sea they put up. It's
just official. By the way, they put up a nightcore
version of some Hamilton.
Speaker 1 (01:23:44):
Yeah, because you only see that when you're on the PC,
like the whole list that it shows that Rescuer was
trying to say, look at the song titles but on
the mobile, but I was pure, Oh it's nightcore.
Speaker 3 (01:24:00):
Is good.
Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
But I'll.
Speaker 2 (01:24:03):
Even cause it like nightcorese sped up in the fucking description.
But yeah, it's funny.
Speaker 1 (01:24:10):
I will do fair. I did listen to Hamilton with
the Korean version. That one was good.
Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
Hamilton is good.
Speaker 1 (01:24:16):
Yeah, the Korean one was good still Hamilton, because.
Speaker 2 (01:24:22):
I was gonna, what were were talking about before that?
Hamilton before Hamilton.
Speaker 1 (01:24:31):
Apple Music and Spotify, and then you were like Hamilton
and then Hamilton.
Speaker 2 (01:24:37):
Oh downloading that was it?
Speaker 3 (01:24:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:24:39):
Yeah. But what I did on on like a recent
flight was like obviously before I go into the downloaded music,
I'll let it continue whatever it was doing before. I honestly,
it's probably like at least half an hour of music,
if not more like just cashed ready to play that
wasn't downloaded, but like because it was in the queue,
(01:25:01):
not even a manual, I think it was just like
an auto Q thing. Yeah I didn't. I was like
on the flight airplane mode. Anyway, music kept coming, you know, like,
so that was funny, it actually catched.
Speaker 3 (01:25:15):
Yeah, it's good.
Speaker 4 (01:25:16):
That's quite useful, and it is always yeah, it's always
weird when you me where I live. It's never great
in most places and get me a real paying in
the ass, but it's.
Speaker 3 (01:25:27):
Yeah, you just you know, you know when it's running out,
which is weird.
Speaker 4 (01:25:31):
You know when the cash ones are running out, and
you know that I shouldn't keep skipping because if I
keep skiffing what, I literally have no option.
Speaker 3 (01:25:38):
I have nothing like unless I go on to download
it or whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:25:41):
But yeah, it's it's cool for eature, you know, And
that's why I do like Apple Music. It's just music
is for people like us. It's very easy to use,
so it is sosphir.
Speaker 1 (01:25:54):
Yeah, it just it just it just kind of it's
a little bit differ from when you're using it for
like when you're streaming, like for streaming music, because was
it my Yeah, my most listened to throughout the year
was ruined by obviously me streaming it with the streaming songs,
and it was all the songs that are used to streaming.
Speaker 2 (01:26:16):
Yeah, and then that would happened on Spotify too with
the raph.
Speaker 3 (01:26:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:26:21):
Whenever I need stream music, I do not. I know
that now twenty one like I had are coming up
in my recommenders, like I don't like this, all right, Yes,
I just wanted to talk about why I have upcoming
(01:26:43):
next weekend. So a week and a half from now,
as this episode goes out beyond Silverstone, I'm going there
for the European Lamon Series weekend, which is good. I
went too when the World and Jurnans Championship and the
European The Months Series were at Silverstone last decade. I
(01:27:06):
went to four out of the last five that happened.
I missed twenty seventeen, and yeah, it was a shame
when in like twenty twenty, I guess they stopped going
to Silverstone. It wasn't just because of COVID. It was
a few things, which is why it hasn't come back.
And this weekend, well, next weekend is back at Silverstone
(01:27:27):
the European the Months series. That is next year it
will also be there and hopefully, hopefully the year after
the World Insurance joins them, but we'll see. So I'll
be there, so I plan to do an IRL stream
as I often do when I got a racetrack. Not
too sure if I'll do that Saturday or Sunday. Perhaps
Sunday because that is when the race will be on.
(01:27:48):
It might be the best in terms of pointing the
camera at the track, so that was Sunday afternoon European time,
But maybe I'll do a Saturday just so that it's
a bit more chill around the track. I might be
the play I might also try and do like a
mini stream on Sunday morning for the pitwork. We do
(01:28:09):
have pitwalk tickets, so I could walk up down the
pit lane try and get some autographs see what's going
on there. Also at the event, you'll be able to
try out a new update from Lamon Ultimate, featuring in
particular Silverstone, because that's coming to the game and they're
going to have a future update of the game available
(01:28:29):
to play there, so I will try that and hopefully
maybe on the Friday afternoon Slash evening, I will publish
a video giving my thoughts and impressions on such an update.
So a few bits of content coming out from Silverstone
on Location next weekend.
Speaker 3 (01:28:48):
There's a game called mom Ultimate.
Speaker 2 (01:28:51):
Yes, it is. Essentially it's the official World Insurance Championship game.
And instead of just calling it, you know, World Insurance
Championship T twenty five, it's called Lamon Ultimate because it's
the ultimate gain to race Lamon in even though arguably
there's one that's better. But yeah, that's a different topic.
Speaker 1 (01:29:11):
So they bring an Ultimate edition. It is going to
be the Ultimate Ultimate Edition?
Speaker 2 (01:29:15):
Wow?
Speaker 1 (01:29:16):
Maybe yeah? Well oh lord, okay, interesting keeping out on
RESCU his socials on that matter, which I'll be doing
that as well.
Speaker 3 (01:29:32):
Where you're going as well?
Speaker 1 (01:29:34):
Yes, I'm sneaking into his backpack.
Speaker 3 (01:29:37):
Nice. Well you probably just say it.
Speaker 1 (01:29:40):
Do you take a backpack with you? I mean yes,
Well there, I'll fit in the backpack.
Speaker 2 (01:29:46):
It's all good in the field.
Speaker 1 (01:29:50):
Look at this backpack. Well you need a camera und anyway, so.
Speaker 3 (01:29:54):
We could do that.
Speaker 2 (01:29:57):
I'll also be meeting our bunch of raising vestables. Are
we meeting up with Asa Xu, Riley Cohi and I
few other people be around from our extended community, like
co is there with his Emplower teammates. I believe Taylor
Mills and Olivia Heywood will be there. So yeah, going
to meet like a huge number of people from the community,
(01:30:19):
and that's super cool. It's going to be I love that,
Like ELMS comes back to Silicone and everyone fucking goes,
you know, supporting the event, which is good and that
is what we need to get work back. So I'm
glad everyone's coming out and it'd be great to meet everyone.
Speaker 3 (01:30:37):
So yeah, I can't go either, So.
Speaker 1 (01:30:42):
Yes, it's there.
Speaker 2 (01:30:47):
One I would do more to can walk around.
Speaker 3 (01:30:53):
I don't care.
Speaker 2 (01:30:55):
ELMS is cheaper and more enjoyable and more value for money.
Speaker 4 (01:31:00):
But I went, I won't be able to seal the
f one start Like when you and I saw.
Speaker 3 (01:31:11):
Not Yeah, I can't say where, but where we saw?
Who is it?
Speaker 2 (01:31:19):
That? Yeah? Yeah, that's the whole fucking sky off one team,
didn't he That's funny. I was thinking Jackie Stewart because
I saw him a similar event on a big screen id, Yeah,
I don't think you were there for that one A
bit further afield.
Speaker 3 (01:31:39):
And to them, we didn't talk to them.
Speaker 2 (01:31:42):
We should talk to They were like a private area.
I don't go in there. However, I did meet talking
about Worlder Durance Championship. I did meet in Miami Louise Beckett,
Lane reported for the Modern Durans Championship. She was waiting
for an uber on the fucking strip wherever you call it,
you know, Miami Beach. I don't know. Yeah, I passed her,
(01:32:07):
and I'm like, I believe me, I actually did this right.
I walked past and I'm like, I'm like, I'm pretty
sure that's Louise Beckett, who was up at Seabring, you know,
and watching the race, which is why I was in
Florida that that I went to Sea Ring. I turned around,
I was like, excuse me, are you Louise record? You
knowing full well exactly who she is. And I had
(01:32:31):
a brief aquard conversation with she was like, stressed out
because you just waiting for this uber, and then then
she indeed got an uber. So but anyway, yeah, what's
call it? Autograph?
Speaker 3 (01:32:45):
Autograph?
Speaker 2 (01:32:47):
Yeah? I mean, I didn't think about anything else time, So.
Speaker 3 (01:32:51):
Hell, is there anyone else actually?
Speaker 4 (01:32:54):
Well, on topic of I have a famous famous people,
has anyone actually met any unfamous people like I just
spoke to them like something.
Speaker 1 (01:33:08):
I've met a few famous people, but they're only famous
in smaller fields.
Speaker 4 (01:33:14):
And so what like it's just in a field in
the middle of just the countryside.
Speaker 1 (01:33:20):
I've met I've met I can't remember off the top
of my head, but there's a few people I've met
who who like I saw as they did their acts
and then they went on to Brits Goot Talent and
then became more famous because of Britain's Got Talent. But
I met them before they were Britain's Got Talent people
(01:33:42):
and after they were Brits Got Talent people. So I
have their signatures in the book somewhere. I think one
of them was sub because of z who is a ventriloquist.
A couple of ventuloquists I met who appeared on BRIT's
Gone Talent. Yeah, people are that.
Speaker 4 (01:34:04):
Yah, I mean, I'm just traffic. I don't really I
don't think you want to speak. I've accidentally spoken to
people and once again I won't say where, but there's
a few people I met I've met like well, I
mean he's still still irrelevant now. But wait, old Jeremy Carl.
Speaker 3 (01:34:32):
Many many years ago when he said a show.
Speaker 4 (01:34:37):
I've met like some Rod Stewart and people like Alan
Shear and stuff. I'm true, certain jobs and that, but
you don't really I mean you can say hello to
them whatever, but like I've never been the title Mike.
Speaker 3 (01:34:52):
Woman sat very close to me, but I hate him anyway.
But like, there's not many.
Speaker 4 (01:34:56):
There's not many like times you're going to just go
and like torch them and I I just don't they
like stars trek thing never really.
Speaker 3 (01:35:04):
Hits me. I just I don't really care.
Speaker 4 (01:35:06):
Like if they're a nice person, yeah, fair enough, maybe
go speak to them.
Speaker 3 (01:35:10):
But most of the time they're not. I'm right, well,
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:35:14):
You see him and you're like they really bothered by
me going up and asking for like an autograph or
a photo photos laughing.
Speaker 3 (01:35:21):
I want from them anyway, Like you know, it's just.
Speaker 4 (01:35:26):
I feel like they're bound to want They're not there
to be your sort of oh you know I want
to do to do do stuff for me, dance with me.
You know, they're just there for whatever they're trying to do,
if they got a day out or whatever. Yeah, but
I don't know. I don't yeah, I see, any I did.
Martin Cluton was actually in one of the that's crazy we.
Speaker 2 (01:35:52):
Didn't meet it.
Speaker 3 (01:35:54):
Yeah, I've met Martin Clune in one of them, in
one of the vets I've gone to. He was there
with his dog, like.
Speaker 2 (01:36:04):
I spoked to him, damn. But was some like I
didn't really meet him because like it was like an
event that our school took us to and he was
sort of folding it.
Speaker 1 (01:36:15):
I was about to mention, however, he was.
Speaker 2 (01:36:17):
Using the bathroom the same time as me.
Speaker 1 (01:36:19):
So yeah, I missed that. I can't believe that.
Speaker 2 (01:36:26):
I'm trying. I don't even know what school I was.
Speaker 4 (01:36:29):
Well, I don't remember it, so it can't have been
the same one.
Speaker 3 (01:36:33):
I don't think it was that one. Anyway, it could
have been, I guess, just different.
Speaker 1 (01:36:37):
Oh you about the other story never mind, No, the
other one where you met out of school. Oh yeah,
I was because we talked about that last actor star
Oh yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:36:53):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, okay, but we didn't meet him though.
We didn't meet him, But you were those.
Speaker 4 (01:37:01):
And some of the because we were like one of
the top years, I think the younger years that actually
meet him and he went into their classes. But we
didn't get any of that. It's just like just the
show and then that's.
Speaker 3 (01:37:14):
Like, yeah, that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:37:17):
I have been on a couple of film sets, but
not but not close to the actors I want quite.
I know you're as a prince. I have my ways
of getting into films.
Speaker 3 (01:37:34):
Na.
Speaker 1 (01:37:36):
Yeah, been a couple of film sets or locations where
things have been filmed. I wish I got the chance
to go to the Spider Man one that happened recently.
That's too far away. He's done now anyway, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:37:55):
Get extra work, that's why everyone.
Speaker 1 (01:37:59):
Then, yeah, I know that's one of the things that
I wanted to go to. I am on and I'll
cast an extra an extra casting calls website my profile there,
so I haven't been called yet. I nearly did for
a World War World War two casting, but then the
(01:38:19):
location was too far away for me to like travel
and then come back, travel up there, come back kind
of thing. World War two film as a vic as
a as a as a young lad. So I say, Victoria, No,
that's World War One I think it was World War two?
(01:38:40):
Is World War one TV show? Or I could have been,
but the location was too far away.
Speaker 3 (01:38:47):
So yes, location, location, location.
Speaker 1 (01:38:49):
I am broadening my acting career for whatever were for
that start doing now I'm of YouTube. Yeah great, great, Yes,
it is talking pictures.
Speaker 2 (01:39:07):
Who new? Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:39:09):
So, I guess And just.
Speaker 2 (01:39:11):
To go back to uh, guy mentioned he wanted to
see his Formula one stars. There is one driver in
the European mon series field as a son who has
Formula one stars. So you will see a Formula one star.
Speaker 3 (01:39:25):
Oh no, I don't see that.
Speaker 2 (01:39:27):
Pietro Fittipaldi, who has specifically two Formula one starts.
Speaker 3 (01:39:32):
I haven't been watching any of the season the Formula one.
Speaker 2 (01:39:34):
So good stuff, right?
Speaker 3 (01:39:41):
No?
Speaker 5 (01:39:42):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:39:44):
Yeah, who the Piastre went?
Speaker 2 (01:39:46):
He did? Yeah, there was a crash that was quite
a few. Yeah, because because Lando had an engine failure
and past three one, there is now for the first time,
a rather large gap in the champion ships. So unfortunately
at this point, yeah, maybe it's not so interesting, but
you know a few races left to go.
Speaker 3 (01:40:09):
Yeah, I don't know. I may. I always like watching
one's weak.
Speaker 4 (01:40:14):
We start watching it and then I just get to
point where I miss a race and like or like,
there's one that doesn't interest me, and yeah, exactly, yeah,
but we should explain that at some point, but not now.
But yeah, it is sort of when I miss one,
I was.
Speaker 3 (01:40:33):
Like, okay, well I'm watching the next one. Then I
just don't do that either, and it's just a point.
Speaker 4 (01:40:38):
I'm like, well, I just miss sing all the races
now and I don't have time for it, probably working
on the day it's on, and I just yeah, it's
a bit of shame. But you know, I may watch
it next season when out of hearing it or whatever.
Speaker 3 (01:40:52):
Maybe maybe.
Speaker 1 (01:40:55):
How the.
Speaker 3 (01:40:57):
Big Cadillac, What the hell.
Speaker 2 (01:41:01):
That that impression is exactly my Cadillac car more and
more in motor sport. They've been running in sports car
racing for many years.
Speaker 3 (01:41:09):
Is that is that move like a Cadillac sting like
a beam? Yes? Uh, it's good.
Speaker 2 (01:41:25):
Anyway, Next up from guy, I can't say it? Why
I'm not allowed now?
Speaker 1 (01:41:34):
No? No, no, no, no, it's.
Speaker 3 (01:41:38):
Myself what wait? What wait? Which wait wait wait well.
Speaker 1 (01:41:43):
We're under the Silverstone bit, so it's your third guy
versus you can't say it because if he reads out,
he reads out what you're going to talk about.
Speaker 4 (01:41:56):
I mean he can read out because it's fine because
I mean when you read there not then I would
go into details.
Speaker 2 (01:42:01):
But anyway, State of Play presents Double oh seven first,
like keep dive on September third to get ready for
over thirty minutes of new gameplay full details, Colon space
Hate GTPs, Colon slash Slash t dot co. I want
to do the rest of that.
Speaker 3 (01:42:18):
Yeah, please, the rest of that.
Speaker 4 (01:42:20):
It's a lot of just you'd have to also capitalize
ones and the uncapitalized on.
Speaker 3 (01:42:25):
But yeah, I'm for this man. I think you are
too as well.
Speaker 2 (01:42:30):
Yeah, you know it will be if you're watching this
as soon as it's come out, well it's probably already happened.
Actually yeah yeah this uh this State of Play from
PlayStation double teven first, like, yeah, I would definitely be
checking that out when I can. And yeah, I am
more about this game. It looks good. I want to
(01:42:51):
see I want to I want to know more.
Speaker 3 (01:42:54):
Yeah, the same yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:42:57):
Today, if you're watching it as it goes out.
Speaker 3 (01:43:00):
That's true.
Speaker 2 (01:43:01):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:43:04):
Yeah, so I mean it really.
Speaker 1 (01:43:06):
Is how we hop on and stream it.
Speaker 2 (01:43:11):
That is I think what that guy said.
Speaker 3 (01:43:14):
Oh no, we could do. Yeah, hu, it will help
my life.
Speaker 4 (01:43:20):
Yeah, but I think it was gonna be interesting because
that that could I wouldn't. I'm not going to say
it's a game of the Year because you know, I
simply just I think there's there's too much this here
that it actually could be game of the year because
backed uh, I was gonna.
Speaker 3 (01:43:38):
Actually, okay, be right. I thought it was the end
of this year, but maybe it is wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:43:43):
I thought it was next year.
Speaker 4 (01:43:44):
It probably is actually actually because it was it wasn't
announced what like last a couple of months or weever.
Speaker 1 (01:43:48):
So yeah, six game.
Speaker 4 (01:43:52):
I'm glad that it isn't this year because it it
would really struggle with you even though it looks like
really good.
Speaker 3 (01:43:58):
I think it will be this dissius mental actu mental.
But you know, I'm looking forward to this.
Speaker 4 (01:44:05):
I think this could be I do love James Bond anyway,
and it's that sort of game like and chartedy sort
of looking act adventure like we're missing though it's like.
Speaker 3 (01:44:15):
What whatever happened in Child? Why? Why did it just
die off?
Speaker 4 (01:44:19):
And you know, it's such a good series and I
miss I just miss having like, you know, adventure games,
and I responds cool as what. Everyone loves James Bond.
So you know, it's just it's it's gonna be It's
gonna be good. I can't see it being a bad game.
But yeah, I'm hyped this, so I'm definitely watching it. Well,
you're probably have to remind meeting probably forget.
Speaker 1 (01:44:41):
We're definitely watch we are, We'll watch it. I wish
I was James Bond just for a die song I
can in this game. This is who they says it all.
Speaker 2 (01:44:56):
I'm not sure I like whether you have sorry to
say on them.
Speaker 1 (01:45:01):
I was just saying, it's a game where I can
be James Bond, and that song was quite fitting for it.
Speaker 2 (01:45:07):
Is James Bond game. Indeed, yes, James.
Speaker 1 (01:45:12):
Next up, actually it's by you, which is where you
put Oh damn, what.
Speaker 2 (01:45:21):
Did we want costumed this? No, I was just responding
to the stay of place. But actually, next up is
The Metal Fine is ten years old.
Speaker 3 (01:45:36):
That's crazy, isn't it.
Speaker 2 (01:45:37):
That's crazy. First game I on PC. Basically that wasn't
Project Cars. Yeah, I canmon, it's been that long.
Speaker 4 (01:45:50):
Yeah, it's I mean that is. We had discussion at
me about twenty fifty much in the year and that
was one of the games that, yeah, I would have
picked because oh man.
Speaker 3 (01:46:04):
What game?
Speaker 4 (01:46:05):
One actual game And the more I see because of
because I'm seeing loads of stuff now about MGS three,
you know, Delta, I really want to play that because
it just looks brilliant graphically. It looks amazing like it
did back in the day. Anyway, it just looks so
damn good that I really want to play it.
Speaker 3 (01:46:22):
But yeah, I do.
Speaker 4 (01:46:24):
I need to dive back into all the older ones.
I need to play, you know, the original three anyway,
with the collection, and then I want to I'll still
only playing just four and it's stupidly it's the first
ever MGS I ever played, but I never completed it.
Speaker 3 (01:46:38):
I think I only played like a couple of hours
of it. And I remember playing it when it came
out and I was like, why there so many cuts
scene the cuts?
Speaker 4 (01:46:49):
Not realizing does it still hold the record for the
longest cut scene in the game, I can't remember.
Speaker 9 (01:46:55):
It's like, after you complete, how as long as the
individual cut scene, I mean to be fair even when
they are because they do them one out for another,
so like, how do you define.
Speaker 4 (01:47:09):
Them on one end and one I suppose it's between gameplay.
Speaker 2 (01:47:13):
I mean, after the last bit of gameplay, there is
about over an hour of cut scene. Is it really
I want to say crazy and that, but that all
that is what made me want to play the franchise
as well? Is that specific.
Speaker 3 (01:47:34):
Really is strange? But yeah and yes and yes five
it's is my favorite one.
Speaker 4 (01:47:40):
I know that hungry playing in the others, but it
is like I just love the way it works, and
a lot of people who don't like it as much
as I do with the fact that it's more open
world and you know you can't sneak, you know you can,
you don't necessarily need to be doing a lot of stuff,
which I feel like a lot of the other ones
are very You get a lot penalized a lot if
(01:48:02):
you don't use any if you if you're not used
the stealth as much, but I do. Yeah, it's thinking
about that game. It's really good and I'm fann to
keep for subling as well, so that always helps. But
it still is is the voice of Snake, you know,
don't get me wrong. Yeah, it's crazy crazy as it's
ten years old now, it just chows once again old
(01:48:23):
we are.
Speaker 1 (01:48:24):
When does the new one come out the Gear. Oh yeah,
it's a mental Gear Solid Snake Eater, which is the
third one which has been remade. Yes, the third game
of Frenchise. Because I know this because someone I watched
streamer wise or concrete wise got to play it. He
got flown out to somewhere in America to go and
(01:48:47):
he knows. Yeah, of course, Uh throw me off that
my favorite Conic creator one of the match, the Sea Dog,
got flown out to play it before it was really
was before it was released, which his video was released
on it about eight days ago, and he was in
(01:49:09):
a room playing it with Pete with other content creators
playing it, and it was just quite funny like sometimes
it would just have a camera just be shoved past
his face to the person next to him because they
don't care when they were calling the b footage or whatever.
But he but on his channel, he actually has the
lady a comembrand name. She sings the song to Metal
(01:49:32):
Gear song. He's got her to play a bit of
the game on his channel. So on the on his
video of him playing, she is also playing it. And
then behind her is the voice actor Snake, who he
got to meet whilst he was there as well. On
another tenure as well, he had to also play a
hide and seek game where he was hunted down by snake.
(01:49:56):
I'll let people watch the video to find out if
he want or not, but that was quite funny short
watch for its video to watch where there's like color
boxes around in gillie suits and hiding in trees and shrubbery.
By then you have to be found by other YouTubers
and stuff like that. That was quite cool. That's the only
thing I know about Marketlid is the number remake because
(01:50:19):
of the people are watching, who's playing it?
Speaker 2 (01:50:23):
You should play it?
Speaker 3 (01:50:24):
Yeah, I think it's they.
Speaker 1 (01:50:26):
Do say it is the like it is the like
the third one is that you could just jump in
and play it. The third one.
Speaker 4 (01:50:32):
The third one is the basically is the start, isn't it.
It's the technique.
Speaker 2 (01:50:36):
Yeah, is the first one despite actually being the fifth
game in the franchise. That's what saves me. But yeah,
so it's not a bad starting point. Probably better to
start with solid one anyway, But like, yeah, it's it's
not a bad especially to remake in twenty twenty five
(01:50:59):
if they are playing to remake more. This is the
logical starting well, I.
Speaker 4 (01:51:02):
Feel like they're going to, aren't they? Because I feel
like this is probably gonna do pretty well. I'd be
I'd be surprised if it doesn't. It doesn't do amazingly well.
Speaker 2 (01:51:11):
To be honest, I haven't play through like I kind
of kind of wanted to play through. I wanted to
play through like the first two and then play Delta
when it came out, But obviously it hasn't happened, so
I still want to. I'm going to leave until I
actually play through the first two on stream and then
play the third. But yeah, matter of finding the time.
Speaker 3 (01:51:34):
To do that, that's the problem.
Speaker 2 (01:51:37):
It is the issue, all right. Next up is me again.
Yesterday I went to say Colorful Stage the movie Amku
who can't sing? This is what is just being referred
to generally as the hats and name Meku movie, because
(01:51:59):
indeed is a movie where Miku is a character along
with some of the other crypt and vocaloids. It's a
bit confusion, though, right, I mean this movie right, It's
clear obviously is an advertisement for the mobile game which
I played that was it called Project Sekai or something.
But the first thing that's weird about that, right is
that like sekai means world, right, and they say seki
(01:52:25):
many times in this movie because the idea is like
there's's there's several groups of characters, right, and each each
of them have like their own style of like music,
and and they like when they're at home, they can
just enter like this virtual world and talk to their
own version of Miku. Like there's different versions of Meku's
(01:52:46):
and I think they are like play enough of like
the design of Miku you might see in several music videos, right,
because are always different, aren't they so, and there's all
by the way, there's also like it Luca, Mako, Rina, Lent.
And what's really jarring is when these characters are in
(01:53:07):
the this alternate world talking to the vocaloids, because obviously
the normal you know, voice actors voicing the characters, but
when one of the vocal characters talks back, it's just
it's the vocaloids software talking, right, So it's really weird,
especially like because Kaito and Mako sound awful, like they're
(01:53:30):
really robotic, you know, Mika doesn't sound great, but some
of them are real bad, So that's pretty jarring. And
also I'd say they say seki a lot in the
in the film, right, but in the subtitles it's never
translated to world. It is Sekai in full caps every
(01:53:52):
time because you should dowload the mobile game, I guess.
So that was weird. And also so I mentioned there's
like these different groups of characters, this movie has too
many characters. Like there's like there's like four groups of
five characters that are all interacting with the main Miku
who can't sing basically, and I can't name like any
(01:54:17):
of them. There's so many. However, it was an enjoyable
movie overall, and particularly towards the end there's like a
sequence of musical performances of various sorts, including a band
one which doesn't quite have the kick of let's say,
the Harry one, which is like the gold standard of
(01:54:39):
course for band scenes and anime. But it was it
was good. Nonetheless, its pier works movie, and they use
their lighting an art to make that scene look pretty good.
And it was an enjoyable movie. But uh yeah, it's
does feel a little bit of a cash in just
because they like crammed all these characters in which I
(01:54:59):
assume a like characters in the game I don't really know,
like because of course, you're the sort of thing where
you probably collect characters and stuff like that, so I
feel like it's all of those. But I don't know.
I don't play the game.
Speaker 1 (01:55:11):
You basically choose the characters you want start like the
group you want star Wise, and I actually went for
like the kind of like what's it called. I went
for like the kind of like idly group friends and
the rock band version of them.
Speaker 2 (01:55:33):
Okay, does the idly one have like an orange hair
character that looks like yeah, so it's okay, So that's
exactly right. So the rock band one's cool though, and
they on Apple Music or probably other streaming services, they
have like a whole ass album from them, and it's
not presumably it's like original songs, but there's also they
do a load of vocal covers in there. Two and
(01:55:53):
I'm actually listening to on the way home from the cinema.
Speaker 1 (01:55:57):
I only found like the statues, but like, I'll show
you the group that one of the groups like I
chose in that game and see if you recognized them.
I went for the blue guys. He kind of looks
like me, but yeah, that's there in the movie, So yeah,
that's the group I went for mostly the girl with
(01:56:17):
the backwards cap and all that, but I can't remember
the group name off the top of my head because
I haven't opened the game and quite a bit. But
I was always playing it. But I am going to
watch that movie at some point to see.
Speaker 2 (01:56:29):
I have had an additional screening.
Speaker 3 (01:56:30):
So I thought you two going to go.
Speaker 2 (01:56:35):
Three times and he didn't answer.
Speaker 1 (01:56:38):
I missed the Yeah, I missed seeing it on the thing,
but yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:56:44):
I talked to you about it last week in the VC.
Speaker 3 (01:56:47):
Missed that as well.
Speaker 1 (01:56:50):
Miss I missed my brain. But yeah, I tried to
go on the game now and it's asking for more content,
exception rules and all that kind of stuff. I've just
closed it for.
Speaker 2 (01:57:04):
Now more more more. But yeah, that's basically what I
want to say about that where I thread here. Oh yeah,
last up as go Shore, Oh go.
Speaker 4 (01:57:22):
Sure, that's me, that's me. Yeah, just only it's the
tiny little things. Just I've come to the calorie counters.
But basically because I was thinking with my job and
I think I'm quite sort of active, so I wanted
to see how many, basically how many calories I need
(01:57:42):
just to sustain, you know, to keep my weight the
same because I wait nowhere here as much I used to,
and I was going through it obviously with my job
like working that like I'm burning like a thousand calories
or something today, so I've got and then.
Speaker 3 (01:58:01):
Eat like so I think my my height, my weight and.
Speaker 4 (01:58:05):
Everything at the moment is like two six hundred and
seventy one I think calories a day. But of course
the problem is because I'm obviously burning a thousand off,
that means that I've got three thousand, seven hundred calories
here to day, which is I find nearly impossible. I
just can't actually eat that much food. I mean, I
keep it on the protein. I'm not even hitting the
(01:58:25):
protein goals either, like because I can't eat enough food
to do it.
Speaker 3 (01:58:30):
And that's that's not even like I'm not trying to.
Speaker 4 (01:58:32):
I mean, I want to bulk ideally, so obviously you
know when because I'm weightlifting and stuff, I want to bulk.
Speaker 3 (01:58:39):
So I want to get bigger, bigger muscles, et cetera.
As anyway you can do it, but I'd have to
eat more.
Speaker 4 (01:58:44):
I'd probably have to eat like a thousand carries more
than that, and I'm like, I don't even know how
I'm going to fit that much food one in my
mouth and two.
Speaker 3 (01:58:52):
In the days I actually have to do it. You know,
it's crazy. I just can't. I can't see like people
do it.
Speaker 4 (01:58:59):
Like people tell you should get those like fat fat shakes,
basically like ones just obviously full of calories.
Speaker 3 (01:59:09):
Yeah I wasna I'm pretty sure you were, but I
just can't.
Speaker 4 (01:59:12):
Again, I don't really want to have I mean not
saying that necessarily waste of calories, but I'd rather eat
protein or something that's actually going to benefit me more
than like have to basically bulk me out of that.
Speaker 3 (01:59:25):
But I understand it.
Speaker 2 (01:59:26):
Because it the whole point bulking is eat a lot
more more. So it's gonna be a bit weird if
you're used to.
Speaker 3 (01:59:37):
Well the problem is, well, yeah, the.
Speaker 4 (01:59:40):
Thing is I was cutting beforehands, so like basically I
was eating a lot less and like I was, you know, cutting.
I mean, I can't well wait, I started off with
but I must have lost in about or five months, probably.
Speaker 3 (01:59:52):
About two and a half free stone. So it's and
I'm not obviously huge, really I'm not. It's not easy
to just wait at my weight. But simply I was
having one meal a day.
Speaker 4 (02:00:03):
And like bad breakfasts, have like a drink, one of
those like protein stake drinks, and then my meal in
the evening. Whilst I was saying, I'm burning like a
thousand calories a day anyway by just my job and
the gym even more so, I just eventually lost so
much weight and like, well now I need to do
the opposite where I've got the most of the bat
and now I need to bulk up.
Speaker 3 (02:00:24):
But yeah, it's difficult.
Speaker 4 (02:00:26):
And the calorie counter things great because it tells you
like it has everything on it is.
Speaker 3 (02:00:30):
It has like if you just say, like you want
Greg's roll, for example, what you just put in, you
put in.
Speaker 4 (02:00:37):
It will literally have all the stuff from Greg's, like
all the stuff from like Tesco as to whatever. Like
it literally has anything you think of, even like I
know this is crazier. I didn't know, but the pumpkin
spice latte would come out brilliant, you know. That's what
I've drank one every day so far in September, just two.
Speaker 3 (02:00:53):
Days, and yeah, this has coming on.
Speaker 4 (02:00:57):
It's got like ten grams of protein in it. It's like, shit,
I don't have to have like three or four of
these days now I.
Speaker 2 (02:01:05):
Guess that's served with milk is from the.
Speaker 3 (02:01:08):
Yeah, I'm assuming that's all. It's fun.
Speaker 4 (02:01:10):
I don't know if it's even probably because the syrup
they're just surely they're just like sugar and flavorings.
Speaker 1 (02:01:17):
Aren't they everythin nice?
Speaker 3 (02:01:20):
It is because the Punk of Spices had a whole podcast.
Speaker 1 (02:01:26):
Well, the last thing that rest wore talk about. I
found the band that they are called in the one
I frequently use, and I am still laughing at their name.
Vivid Bad Squad is their group name alongside all the
other ones. Leo Nead is another one, more and more jump.
(02:01:48):
I can't read the other one because it's in Kanji.
No yeah jamany boys in japany the other one twenty
five and then the rest in Japanese, and then the
virtual singer, which obviously is the vocal. Would be interesting though,
which one the rescue will choose as his default group
(02:02:08):
when he ever plays the game.
Speaker 3 (02:02:12):
I would like to say as well before we end.
Speaker 4 (02:02:15):
Yeah, since I don't think TV, but one of my
friends has gone to I went to Japan like start
of last month, and I completely can't say about it,
but like she was showing me all of the pictures
and stuff from it, and I am to go back now.
Speaker 1 (02:02:33):
Oh you're desperately good back. I see, I'm I've been
telling you that I want to go back.
Speaker 3 (02:02:41):
I want to go back.
Speaker 2 (02:02:44):
Imagine this though, where's streaming trip to Japan?
Speaker 1 (02:02:48):
Or that will come on? That will be great. We
need to plan.
Speaker 3 (02:02:51):
That you don't stream member, so we can't.
Speaker 1 (02:02:54):
We go to Japan. I will literally know, will know
you were, my decent cameras, my recording equipment, everything. Just
the chance to go back, the.
Speaker 3 (02:03:08):
Chance to go back. It's like it's his place that
you can. I just need to get back.
Speaker 1 (02:03:13):
Please, I want to go back. There's been The last
we went was twenty seventeen.
Speaker 2 (02:03:19):
Yeah, I know somewhere you go every other weekend.
Speaker 3 (02:03:24):
No, it's literally halfway across the world.
Speaker 1 (02:03:27):
I can go back. I just didn't. I just didn't
want to do the solo trip. I still want to
do it with a friend or guys.
Speaker 7 (02:03:35):
Even a friend of two or even you guys, because
when you.
Speaker 1 (02:03:40):
Guys said it earlier, like a few years on you
with you, if any you might you might not go
back fix And I was like planning to see who
else might go and blah blah, blah. But now hearing
guys saying that he is interested to go back.
Speaker 3 (02:03:53):
I mean I've always wanted to go back.
Speaker 4 (02:03:55):
I've always said it's one of my top places. Like
you know, I have traveled a lot, and it's it's
still one of my top five easily.
Speaker 1 (02:04:05):
And there's and now because I've watched a lot of
chris Boro that there's a lot more places and stuff
that I know we will we can go to and
enjoy because I what do you mean stream?
Speaker 3 (02:04:21):
I will?
Speaker 1 (02:04:21):
I will go to the lost I will go to
the Lost bar. See if you can find out how
to open the door, guy, that would be funny. And
we can use the dedicated streaming room with a nice
view whilst you have the shoe. Oh yeah, and the
shoe in the it's still.
Speaker 3 (02:04:43):
There in the well. I like what I'm drinking.
Speaker 1 (02:04:48):
No, there's outside the window there is a sign, like
a three D sign, and someone's thrown a shoe and
it's like landed perfectly in one of the letters and
it's still there. I'll show the video a minor feature
of this area.
Speaker 2 (02:05:06):
It was pointed out in one of the videos.
Speaker 1 (02:05:08):
I'll show the video that that that it's quite funny
because resc is like, oh my god. Laugh. But saying
that to Rescuer before we finish up. That video of
the racetrack is coming out soon, so watching, yes, And
there's quite a few people that might want to watch
as well, so I might do a discord watch alone
when it comes out. You should, yes, so look out
(02:05:32):
for that. I will probably tweet about it. I'm going
to stream damn it.
Speaker 3 (02:05:43):
Right.
Speaker 2 (02:05:44):
Yes, Uh, let's wrap up.
Speaker 1 (02:05:47):
Yeah, we'll wrap up. Rescu Is just vanished for all
the for the video watchers. Yeah, Rescuers now disappeared.
Speaker 2 (02:05:54):
Well, Steamer went down. Oh yeah, yeah, let's wrap this up.
Speaker 1 (02:06:02):
So thank you for joining episode ten of the podcast,
and we'll hope to see you in the next one.
Speaker 3 (02:06:10):
Good Bye, and we'll say the same time
