Speaker 1 (00:00):
I us.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
M m mm hmmmm.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
Mm hm.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
H m m m mm hmmm.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
H h.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yeah, yeah, oh wait here it's good stuff.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
There we go. For some reason, my microphone settings went
to default instead of the link system.
Speaker 3 (05:58):
So did you wait? Did you sort out the voice
chat as well?
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Yeah, it's all in one thing.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
Okay, cool, there you see it's system.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
Yeah, we're all back. Sorry about the technical difficult I
didn't know it was broken until we started. Uh, we
are live. Welcome to episode three of the Tachy Toasted
Tree podcast.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Fairly good, say, now you.
Speaker 2 (06:23):
Get back in the group of things. It's been a while.
Stuff is happening. But I'll hand you over to Risco
where I look at something quickly over.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
Yes, so the first thing I want to talk about
is a bit, a bit, not a bit, not very
topical anymore because it was now and we missed the
last week. But who was the Soda Racing team, newly formed,
competed in its first race, a twenty four hour race,
(06:54):
no less, and I feel like we sh talk about
that because it is Where's podcast? And yes, I see
two of our drivers are already in chat. We competed
in the race for a cause twenty twenty five hosted
by Prismatic Motorsports and raise money for it belonged to Ireland.
And what was the final amount that was raised, not
(07:15):
by its specifically but just in general by the whole event.
It was six one hundred seventy nine euros and sixty
nine cents, which is nice. And what I can't even
remember the position now what there were? Top ten, wasn't it.
I can't even remember. It's been so long already. I
(07:39):
can't remember what position the car finished, but I'm pretty
sure it was top ten P nine says Jay. Okay,
thank you, I should really remember that boot whoops. Yeah,
so a fantastic run, beating the MARII car which I
was driving, So clearly I'm washed.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
Compete against yourself with the worst car as well.
Speaker 3 (08:02):
Yeah, I was like Deddy Hamlin in NASCAR who drives
for one team but his team owner of another team
and competes against his own team that he co owns
with Michael Jordan of all people.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
So you weren't driving the worst car. You were driving
for me right in that one?
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yes, yeah, I almost moved across. But but when Pluto
put her hat into the ring for that there was enough,
so I stayed in the MARIAI car, which was a
bit of a clown car with many people. I probably
still could have moved across, but I think the team
in the worst car had a fun time. Anyway, Yeah,
(08:42):
that was great, right, and I would like to I'm
not sure shared chat's working. Probably did you set on
I didn't start shared chat? Okay you yes, your fault,
not mine for once, that one was my fault. Yes,
so I don't see the YouTube chat in my compy chat,
(09:02):
which is kind of weird.
Speaker 2 (09:03):
But hell, in the YouTube, I have to have open. Oh,
we've got someone in the YouTube.
Speaker 1 (09:09):
We've got someone. We've we've.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Read a line and sinker. Did you say it was
a charity thing as well the racing, because I heard money.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
Yes, we raised money. Yes, it was a charge race
benefiting belonged to in the Republic of Ireland, which is
like an lgbt Q plus charity, which is a meaningful
charity to in particular one of the drivers of Prismatic
I think organization, if not that driver is Irish. But yes,
(09:46):
lots of money raised for that. They smashed the original
target they had for the event and smashed the previous
year's target, which or the previous year's total, as you say,
which was the first running of the event. They smashed
that by a long way, and partly thanks to Who
Wants Soda And we got loads of we helped, we did,
(10:10):
We got loads of mentions on the broadcast. There was
a whole live broadcast on YouTube for the whole event,
and they love that name who Wants a Soda. They
were constantly talking about, oh, what's everyone's favorite soda and
stuff while showing our car on the on the stream.
(10:30):
So that was really, really, really cool to see. And
I am very proud that that was a thing and
that our five drivers represented was in that way. It
was very cool and I would love to do more.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Yeah, that's pretty cool. By press.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yes, yes, the American name for the British people.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Mm, you're not British.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
I'm from somewhere no one knows. I was about to
say a random country, but then I hang on.
Speaker 1 (11:08):
Maybe I have to prove that you're from that country.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yes, I'll bring my passport. Yeah, I was going to
because obviously resk of talking about charity. I was going
to segue it to the other charity things that we
have on our list, which was the Cyclophone a couple
of weeks A couple of weeks ago. Now, on the
thirteenth of April, Sea dog Va and Chris Broad cycled
(11:34):
from well what's it called now, I've forgot the name, Kaido,
Japan to Tokyo. So fifteen days cycling raising money for
the IDF, the Immune Efficiency Defense Defense.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Immune Immune No Immune Deficiency Foundation Foundation.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
That's it. It's that they call it the Iron maass Defense.
That's why I got That's why I got it confused
there for a second. I was using my marbles today,
excuse me. Yes, soho through the cold of Hokkaido to
the rainy places near Tokyo to then finish in Tokyo
with a whopping over a million dollars, which they broke
(12:23):
last year's record, which were by sixty seven dollars. I
think they're still the link still open anyway for for
a while. So, yes, they smashed the million record on
the last day, which more slashing. Yes, it makes me
want to pick up a bike now and do cycling.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Yeah, when do we get in the cyclist on eh?
Speaker 2 (12:48):
Yes, but the one we've been planning for for a while,
now we we will it is in the works. We
all talk about it a little wads adventure with bikes.
But yeah, I was proud of the everyone that was involved.
Peter Pie showed up, uh Gun showed up. They actually
(13:08):
had Iron Mouse show up. She was on an iPad
strapped to the bike. Well, she was talking to them,
singing as well on the trick. It was just a
lot of fun. I enjoyed watching all the VODs the
next day because obviously they were a live during the
time where I will be asleep, so I had their
VODs on in the background and it was quite enjoyable.
(13:29):
I do see so.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Nice cool. I don't I don't really know anything about it,
so I don't even know who any of the people are,
to be honest, it's just like, yes, yes, random people
are doing such charity, which is great, you.
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Know you Pewdy Pie.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
Who's pe Pie?
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Okay, Yeah, I mean it's not like I've mentioned way
more famous than the rest, to be fair.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Yeah, but I do remember when you mentioned stuff like that.
You go on about a half hour rant and I'm
just well, yes, my brain just employed must Iron is right. Yeah,
I've seen the film.
Speaker 2 (14:17):
You can talk about your thing that I've seen written
down here.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Which one I got many.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
The one I don't know, There wasn't one that really
ties into the both charity events that we've just boken.
Speaker 3 (14:28):
I don't need to go his sport. And speaking of sport.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
Yes, oh yes, maybe the best best thing that happened
the entire year Liverpool winning. Oh yes, it's been too
long coming now they've they deserved it. I mean in
all actual fact, they're like last few games they've played,
they've been pretty ship but like it's just been basically
(14:56):
I don't know how much I'm rescuers more like to know,
a bit more like Man City. You've just been dominating
Folk the last what three four years and then suddenly
Liverpool coming in Man City being terrible as well, absolutely
awful this season, so they were I actually thought that
there's a chance, like at one point they were going
to get relegated, which would have been what's fantastic news,
(15:19):
But no, yeah, it's been as a Liverpool fan of
course myself, as you somehow you know, if you didn't
know as a Liberol fampire now you definitely do now.
But no, it's really like so good and the thing
is right, it's when I was because I actually I
watched it where when you and I met up Rescer,
it was on on that day of course the last
(15:41):
game that would basically mean if Liverpool won, like they
were going to Sttenham and if they were, they were
the champions, like that was it. And so I found
myself in a bar and I was like, I just thought, well,
I'm going to have to I can't go home because
it's too long to get back home. And then obviously,
so I found myself in a bar and I felt
like like on the bar, which is very like modern
(16:02):
day you'd never get that anymore. So it's actually on
a stool by the bar, and the people will sat
next to me as man and woman, and they were
they was watching a game as well, and like I
can't I don't want to ask the like for whose
fan they were, but obviously they're a fan of I
were a team, and I was just sort of sat there.
And of course as soon as like my boy, most
(16:24):
Salah scored like most Salah the best player, but scored
like they were like ship, like it's just like a
Manchester or something. This is gonna be awful.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
It turns out they are Tottenham fans but they're Tottenham
fans who hate every other team, so it's like, okay,
so but then they were right with me because they're like, oh,
you know, it's fine.
Speaker 1 (16:46):
But and in this game of one, Liverpool beat Tottenham
five one, so you can imagine that they were they
were pretty Yeah. Yeah, they absolutely thrashed Tottenham, like completely
thrashed them, and you can imagine they were a bit
hissed that. But part of that note is really good.
I mean it's a bit of a shame really because
(17:07):
you had, I mean Liverpool's anthem of you never walk alone.
If I didn't have any sound on because it was
a bar annoyingly like I did as sound on but
they couldn't find the remote to do it. Yeah, annoying,
And of course they had that you know, typical music
on anyway, and yeah, they started when I got back home.
(17:29):
I watched like the end and like you know, watched
everything afterwards, and I couldn't believe, Like, if you listen
to the crowd at anfield sing you never walk alone,
it's like almost emotional, like you get goosebumps, like it's
like a real because it's such it means so much
to these people more than it means to me. Like
(17:51):
you know, these people who actually go and watch every
single game, who live up in Liverpool, and it's just
it's crazy, like you've you've never heard anything like it,
like a whole stadium it's just so loud. But it's
just it's so impressive that all singing this song. You know,
the players are getting emotional as well, like a crowd
and get emotional. It's like, this is why I love sport,
(18:13):
because where else you gonna get like something like that,
Like every single person is basically emotional simply because a
team have won their sport. It is mad and that's
why like the Premier League like here in England is
it's just fantastic because and actually not just Premier League,
just load of the other leagues as well, in you know,
in football, but like they're true passionate fans. And I
(18:37):
just couldn't leave it, and I was just fat there
just thinking like wow, this is It shouldn't mean that
much to me because it is just men kicking a
ball around, but it is just so like, I don't know,
there's something about it. I wish I was there, Like lastly,
I wish I was there just to hear them singing,
you know, especially because it was at Anthod it was
at home, Like it's it's just so I don't know
(19:00):
what the word is, but yeah, it's just it was
all emotional ordeal. But yeah, no, it's that is well,
that's my year. So already is a.
Speaker 3 (19:12):
Crazy thing about that. I mean, it's not that crazy
because most of my sports are the same, bar one,
and if you're a racing person here, you know which one.
I mean, you don't know which game is the championship game.
But it might not be even at home, right, it
could it could have been anyway. It could have been
the I that's like the most random game. It's not
like they beat Man City in an amazing face off, Like, no,
(19:36):
they beat Tottenham easily, which would have happened in the season.
Like it's kind of a I know, that's how a
championship scored by points is one. But everyone is the same, right,
you don't know which race will be the last one.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
It could be the last, It could be like second
to last. It could be way for them. Yeah, it's crazy,
it really is, Like yeah, and it shouldn't. I mean
I still think that they probably wouldn't have if Man
City were on the form they had always been for
the last few years, then there wouldn't have been I
(20:15):
don't think we'd have won. But it's just, yeah, it's
there's something to be said about watching when football matters.
It's like, well, you know you're you watch England, don't
you play, And it's like when you watch that, there's
something about it, isn't there, Like because there's like a stake,
(20:35):
you know, there's you've got something to gain out of it.
Like I can understand it could be born for someone
who doesn't support anyone and that and that's fair, but like, yeah,
it's just people, like when you get behind England, it's mental.
Let us getting like the final, like obviously the Euro
it's just insane, like the whole country.
Speaker 3 (20:59):
That Euro a few years ago. That was like the
first time I'd watched any Yeah, I watch a fair
bit of sport. If you can't race him and I
lost sport, but I'm usually I'm watching him partially For
the most that England final was the first time where
I'm watching a sporting event with high stakes where I
genuinely have like a side and the emotion like do
(21:23):
Premier League and maybe like NFL fans just go through
this every week.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
Like.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Yeah, I mean that that is it. Like, you know,
there's people that I just like, yeah with of course
there's any sport, just these die hard fans, these people
that have this kind of motion in your teams there,
you know. And it's like even throwing back to the
like the Super Bowl where I didn't really I wanted
the Eagles to win because I hate Nancy the Chiefs,
(21:54):
but like go fight back to that, I was like
that was crazy. Just the atmosphere there again, like it
wasn't even there, but like watching that was it was amazing.
Like there's something so good about watching that compared to
you know, like just watching a random game. It was
so like just final It's just fuper amazing. I'm just like,
(22:16):
and that's what makes me want to go watch NFL
because of that. I'm just like I really want to
watch it now. You know. It's oh sports, just all
around sports brilliant. I just love it. I just love
any kind of competition like that. Like crickets starting again.
Now this sounds so English, so ridius English, but I
love the cricket so I'll be watching that as well.
(22:38):
But oh, I just can't wait and can't wait.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
I guess something I've never managed to understand. I don't
really know how it works, but.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
It's yeah, it's good.
Speaker 3 (22:48):
Hard to get yourself into.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
I think. Yeah, if you watch like the T twenties,
which are like they're twenty overs, which I'm not going
to go into experience what you just said, but that
one's good because like as well, because it's a funny
day as well. It's usually because it always in the summer,
it's usually a sunny day, and it's usually you know,
you get a few pints in you it's just a good,
(23:12):
good old time, you know, and you get to like
the crowds thing stupid songs. And they always play a
song like at the end of every over sort of
six balls per over. Basically when they do that, they
play like some sort of song and it's usually Domino
by Jesse j or something, you know, the typical playlist.
But yeah, they just it's like a real party atmosphere.
(23:35):
The T twenty because it's it's quick cricket, not like
the quicker. It's just quicker than like the old you know,
like it's not like a test matress all day.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Wait, that's in my head, that is what cricket is.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
But yeah, yeah, you probably enjoy it. It's a good
once again, it's really atmosphere because obviously the local team,
which won't say who it is, but like you know,
the local county would be like that. Most of the
people there are just in it for just the laughs
and just for a real good time. Yeah, another good
(24:13):
thing to watch.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
But yeah, all right, let's deviate from sports and go
like to the complete opposite and sat on your ass
type ship, we're gonna talk about video.
Speaker 1 (24:28):
Games sports sports, mate, you know it actually works.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
For we need games now, please.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Well, let's let's go with the one that is out
and a guy. I'm gonna kind of really well, I
guess so, but I feel like it's a logical place
to start with these the Elder Scrolls before. Yes, it's
been over ten years since the Elder Scrolls five. And
what did they finally come out with Elder Scrolls four?
Speaker 2 (25:04):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (25:05):
Do you have a guy? I?
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Yes, I have it. I love it.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
It's so good.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
Well context, if you didn't somehow hear the news Oblivion
the Skyrim was remade.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Yes, yes, I heard everyone was talking about it.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Okay, I just had no cree about it. Do you
play Skyrim?
Speaker 1 (25:31):
No? No?
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Yes, what the hell I think I played? It was.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Everyone and I played Skyrim.
Speaker 2 (25:40):
Yeah, I remember the scene at the beginning where you
just wake up in a cart.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
And then Thomas the tank engine comes down, right.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
People mean it where like something happens Skyrim.
Speaker 3 (25:55):
Yes, that is the meme that means.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
I've seen so many of that now because of this game.
Of course. I people were like starting Oblivion then they
somehow end up in Skyrim, and it's just so.
Speaker 2 (26:06):
NPCs are really glitchy. I've seen a lot of videos
about that's.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
Every bethes the game honestly, Yeah, feel NPC clips was
so funny. Honestly, I never played that.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
I do like it. It's just funny that that's the thing.
They're like as much as they can glitch and stuff,
it's just actually hilarious, Like it actually makes me laugh
out loud. That's how the stupid because sometimes they just
fly across the room and stuff and you're like, what
is going on? Like they're just like, oh, there's like
sort of talking and they're like burning to death, like no.
Speaker 3 (26:43):
Matter what is happening to them, their intonation and usually
their eye contact to you as a player will not change.
Speaker 1 (26:53):
Killed.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
I don't know if it's Skyrim or a different game,
but I saw a guy told an NPC and then
after we talked finished talking to him, the rock moved
up and squished and and brought.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
It back down.
Speaker 2 (27:08):
And then another NPC went to go revive the NPC,
but as he's still on the rock, he shot back
up and killed them both.
Speaker 1 (27:16):
That was that is Oblivion, because that's like an old
like that's the original bliving game. But yeah, he like,
I mean, it's just stupid stuff that happens. I've actually
got I've saved videos of like what's happened when playing Oblivion,
which I may actually release into a video once the
better did it.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
But like stupid TikTok return, it could be the return.
Speaker 1 (27:40):
But yeah, so it is like Oblivion is fantastic, like
the thing I still for Skyrim, because I might love
Skyrim whenever die, but this is like it's just about it,
like the actual like you could tell when you're playing.
As much as it looks new, and it does look
hell of a lot better than it used to, it
(28:02):
still feels very early, like you know that like cusp
of like ps two to PS three, but of course
it's like I think I had this on three sixty,
but like it's that like because it was an early
I don't think it was a release game. I can't remember.
It may have been actually for PS three at least,
but it feels very much like a you know, turning
(28:23):
point to that from the like that generation of the
PS two, the Xbox of the original Xbox to like
the three sixty and the PS three, where like you know,
all those games are sort of it's just a mix
of the two, like graphically looks a bit better, but
then it's like it plays like a PS two game,
but like this plays like a bit like it's open world.
(28:44):
Of course it's the same as Skyrim, but it feels
like very much like there's not much that seems to
happen in the world like Skyrim does. Whet. It's a
bit sort of like when you're running around, there's like
stuff like a dragon or something, but you know, like
all this shit like you know, people around me five
or whatever, like and like the quest as well a
bit more like okay, tortssperson, go there, finish that ports
(29:09):
person more so than it is in Skyrim, because I
know Rasco basically it was like that with Skyriam Life,
but it is very much like Point AD Point B,
which I don't mind. You know, it's fine and the like,
I understand the game's not really for me when I
have played the original, but hardly, Like I wasn't really
into it, and it's what pointing off Skyrim for ages
(29:31):
because Oblivion wasn't that good. But I just didn't understand it.
I just didn't It wasn't my type of game at
the point. But playing it now and I found it
looks amazing, like it's it's just fantastically like typical sort
of these huge worlds that prefers to do so well.
And it was in a time where Befesa weren't as
basically crap as as they have been recently. You know,
(29:54):
this is this is Skyrim. I're like, well, they're fantastic.
I want more. I'd love to have more sort of
elder scroll games, like all of them would be fantastic,
but I understand the limitations of I mean, like, I
don't know how much you know about like the other ones,
but Dagger, for which is the second one that map
is is just under the size of Britain basically, like
(30:16):
that's how big the map is, Like it is is
literally that big because of course it's like an old game,
so they don't need much like graphically at all. You're
just a sort of it looks a bit like Doom
sort of thing, but it's just a huge, huge like
that's just ridiculous and compared to like Scarring anything else.
But yeah, this is it is a really good game.
(30:36):
Like it's like a real solid you know, like it
goes on nostalgia, probably a bit more so then you would,
you know then not like if one of you paid,
for example, you probably wouldn't enjoy it as much, like
even Netline. Like I said, I've only played a bit
of the original, so I don't remember hardly any of it,
but like, yeah, I just I love this these type
(30:58):
of games anyway, so it's right down my.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
But I did enjoy Skyrim. I did get like tired
of it, but like I had complete the main quest
a bunch of other ship like I did, I was
it dadred Not so like would I enjoy oblivion oblivion oblivion?
Speaker 1 (31:23):
I don't know. I mean I feel like if you
if you did all of that in the Skyrim if
you did like the main like the whole main question,
and you've done like a few more and you've got
because I don't know if you remember like the Dark
Brotherhood or Thieves Guild or doing those sort of thing.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Because I did at least one of those.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
Yeah, so they're both back in this and the brother
Dark Brotherhood missions and this really actually really fun. But
I I honestly, at the moment, I'm not even only
complete the main story because I've I've just gone like
which I never ever do in these games ever, but
I've got to a certain point in the story and like, right,
I'm going to do all of the like guilts and
all of that's the quest stuff beforehand, and then I'm
(32:02):
going to go and do the story laps, which I
never do because I just usually plow for the main
story and then do like all the side stuff. But
actually doing this way it's quite nice because I know
what I'll do because I'll get to the end of
the main quest and I'll be like, Okay, I've done everything.
Yeah exactly, I'm done. So when i haven't, I'm nowhere
near done.
Speaker 2 (32:20):
You know, I do that too, I do the side
stories and all that first so then I know I'm
going to at least complete those, yeah, and then enjoy
the story because sometimes when I'm playing on the PlayStation,
it is obviously some of the platinums, some of the
trophies is doing side stuff. So just get that out
(32:40):
of the way and then just plow through the story.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
Yeah, I mean, that's the thing of this game, is
the actual the platin for the plantin Trapee plant trophees
dicks easy. It's just literally there's no trophy, but just
completing missions, like they're literally just complete all of the
stuff in the Dark Brotherhood and you get like heaven
the trophies are doing it, and then the fire is
guilled and then just the main quest and that that's
(33:04):
literally it. And I was a bit like, I'm actually
a bit disappointing that because i'd rather, because I don't
really know the game very well, I'd rather there was
like oh do this quest, do this quest, or like
oh kill this thing and you know, go here, because
I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm just, you know,
if I want to get the trophies, and that's why
I am taking my time for it, because I don't
want to just follow just do all the trophies. Well,
(33:25):
i've done platinum. I'll play again because I know I
would never never play again if I get the platinum.
I know that for a fact. Yeah, I've played Skirram
three times, three times. I've played Skyrim planning at three times,
and I will never probably play it again. Oh, I like,
because I probably will play again, but still no good game.
It's a very good game.
Speaker 3 (33:45):
I got the complete opposite of you normally, guy, because
I think I remember when you asked me how many
hours I had on Final a Fantasy fifteen, a game
to this day I have certainly not completed. And I
was like in, like I had reached there's that city
that's like on a cliff, like after the first area, right,
(34:08):
and I was like there, and I told you my
playtime and it was huge. I've done so many side
things in the first area and You're like, how are
you only there? It's like I just I just didn't
didn't regret. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
It's it's how you play a game, isn't it. There's
so many different ways, And like this is why I
never be like now, I would never be like, oh
it should be already here, because I'm just sort of
like unless you are literally not doing anything in that time,
you're just leaving the game on and it's accumulating out.
But like, yeah, a lot of times these games are
just so worth having a look around and just doing
(34:47):
whatever you want. It's just you know, sort of though
it's a typical stupid cliche thing to say. But it's
to make your own story, isn't it. It's the whole
point of an RPG, I suppose. Yeah, but yeah, very
good to play it.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
We will follow this with the other big game franchise
that has not had its sixth installment in over years,
Garfield Card. Yes, no, Garf Theft Auto. Actually feels weird
(35:23):
to say six, like it should only be followed by five.
Speaker 1 (35:27):
There's only five.
Speaker 3 (35:29):
There was never a one, two, three, four or six
or anything else.
Speaker 2 (35:35):
Because it was san and Dress and all the others
didn't have numbers.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
Well yeah, but I was still a free in a
four as.
Speaker 3 (35:41):
Well, which doesn't make any sense because the technically this
is going to be eight then, but whatever the bowling.
So we got a trailer and a delay all this week.
I wonder if the trailer was it's kind of odd time.
Did they like rush finish this trailer because they delayed it.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
I don't know. I think they've intentionally done it to
stop like they shadow dropped it. I guess in a
way to trans fop it being leaked for one just
to And I guess it's because it's like almost a year,
isn't it until it's out? So it's like I.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
Have, Yeah, I have a theory that it's not a
delay and it was just what they wanted to release
it as, so that they just said it was a
delay a year later.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Then why would they announce the wrong.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
Date first, Like I don't know, because they want to
give people hope.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
I don't know, but I just I wish game developers
or publishers are more like would just name a date
that's a bit too far away, because then it's time
you just bring it up, you know. I imagine how
good the pr is if you're like, oh, hey, you
know GTA six was coming out in May twenty twenty six, Well,
(36:56):
we're going to move it to late twenty twenty five
because we hate we're done.
Speaker 2 (37:01):
Like it would be amazing, right, No, I think in
that aspect, I think it's because I've seen a lot
of stuff where they do like when movies may get
made or games get made, they have to have set
particular day that they think they're going to be finished by.
But I can I don't know if they can bring
one a release forward, they have to always bring it.
(37:23):
If they have a delay, they have to bring it
further away, because I think changing schedules earlier is a
little bit difficult than making a delay. Perhaps that's probably
why no one's done it in the industry. I don't
think where like they bring it.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
But then but then there's things you could do instead
where let's look at Oblivion, which I mean that wasn't
even announced, But the point is they just decided it
was coming out at that moment when they announced, right,
I mean, I guess I didn't have any physical copies.
I don't know if it's getting physical, But why not
(38:00):
just be like yeah, like when it's done, then say
it's done. I guess, I don't know. I feel like
there's just a better way. Like we see so many
games delayed and no one likes to hear it. It's bad.
Pr it's never, it's never. It's never a good thing
to delay game, right, Like, how how is it happening
(38:21):
so much? You know, I know the issues with the
gaming development industry, but surely with that in mind, you
should plan these things further away anyway, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
Well without games and stuff and content is getting created anyway,
it's I think it's I know people don't like it,
but I prefer a delay and the game finished and
not like super buggy or broken or whatever, or their
staff getting overworked to try and finish a deadline that
it being come out quick full of bugs. Oh yeah,
(38:54):
the people are like half dead from the experience. You know,
it's happened in the past.
Speaker 3 (39:00):
I'd rather a delay than an unfinished game, like for sure,
But why are you putting these release dates out that
you're seemingly never I think.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
They're trying to get to that. I think they want
to try and do those particular dates, but obviously then
they know it's unrealistic. But then they don't want to
disappoint the fans, so they have to give them something.
So I think that's what And then.
Speaker 3 (39:21):
Also they were doing at six as an example, like
it's been a very long time since the last game.
Speaker 2 (39:28):
Yeah, I think that's why they were trying to like
say there is a six come in here it is
and then sorry, it's going to be delayed kind of thing.
I think that's why we knew we.
Speaker 3 (39:37):
Knew A six was coming though, like I feel, and plus,
with the amount of time it's already been in development
in how can you not know when it's finished this
far in because no matter no matter how it like,
they must be like ninety plus percent done. I know
you can't really quantify that, but like they must be
(39:57):
in the end point from when they announced it ages ago,
right because it had already been so long that they
must be in the last phases and how and surely
in the last pace. Like at the start of the development,
I can see how it would be very difficult to
accurately predict how long it will take. But in the
end part of the development, I feel like you should
be much easier to accurately figure it out. But even
(40:20):
a GA six, along with every other big release game,
seemingly gets delayed. It's like, of all games, how does
this one manage?
Speaker 2 (40:29):
Well, you don't actually know when when they're in the
business partner that you don't know if like a tester
found something and they have to like work on that section.
So that's why they did the file went missing or
file corrupted or something. There is things that will cause it.
No one's going to just sat there going, oh, we're
(40:50):
just going to delay it because we just feel like it.
Speaker 3 (40:53):
Well I didn't say that, but that's.
Speaker 2 (40:56):
Basically something has to have happened for them to go
or we have to delay it so we can fix
the problem.
Speaker 3 (41:02):
Yeah, and then then it's seemingly it's seemingly every single
game ever.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
I think games are getting bigger, more technology involved. A
lot of things can go wrong.
Speaker 3 (41:17):
But then surely you put your release state with all
these things in mind, Like that's something.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
Even with time frames, you can't generally one hundred percent
sure it will be sorted by that time frame.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
I agree away, But why is it seemingly zero percent sure?
Like they all get delayed or finished with or get
released with bugs. Like can you think of a big
release game that got released on time and without bugs,
Like I don't think there is one for a long time.
Maybe Astrobot, a game from the ninety Yeah, probably, but
(41:51):
then that's just have the hype and release date right anyway,
because I don't think anyone cared until it.
Speaker 2 (41:56):
Comes with the console, didn't it.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
Or just you're thinking of Astro's playroom.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
Is a phenomenon. It deserves to win Game the.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
Year, just saying I don't know about their teams either,
because obviously, like they've got some of their teams working
on DJ five still, were like stuff that's happening on
that still and keeping that running, and then obviously the
people working on the sixth.
Speaker 3 (42:20):
So that's true, but we know how lazy the content editions.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
And I just interject as well, though, have you guys
seen about this Expedition thirty three that is a thirty
man squad? There's you would love it by you're asking
because it's very fun and fancy. It is, I think
or user rating. It's one of the highest things ever.
I think that sits a ninety seven on Metacritic. It
(42:47):
is literally it's a thirty man team. It's only come
out recently, but this game is I don't know how
young heard of it, to be honest, because it's got
huge height. It's called Claire Obscure Expedition thirty three.
Speaker 2 (43:03):
Never as in the name Claire.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
Yeah, it's a team. Yeah about any where?
Speaker 2 (43:10):
Are you talking about football?
Speaker 1 (43:12):
No?
Speaker 3 (43:12):
No, I'm kidding, like Final Fantasy type World I'm just looking.
Speaker 1 (43:19):
Like, yeah, honestly, you're asking. I mean, I'm going to
play it. Like I've literally held myself off of playing
it because I wanted to play Oblivion. I wanted to
complete Oblivion first. But I'm desperate to play it, man.
But it just looks like it's like the music, Oh
my god, the music. Seriously, I've heard some of the
soundtrack and like the scores, it's fantastic, Like it's like
(43:41):
Final Fancy esque. It's like, I mean, some of them,
it's like the same thing from the Devil May Cry series.
But it's just incredible. Voice acting is incredible in the
game as well. They've got Ben starring it, who's the
leader voice in Final Fantasy sixteen. He's incredible. It's just us.
Speaker 2 (43:59):
I've got it. I see it after I found the
Space Program Expedition of thirty three, so I had to
go through all that first before I found it.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
But the point was that, yeah, this is a group
of like it is less than thirty people, and they've
made a game that is going to probably win Game
of the Year for one and two is to be
that high on Metacritic, to be literally one of the
highest games in existence, is another, Like, I mean, that's
(44:29):
just that's incredible.
Speaker 2 (44:31):
I've never heard of it until you just brought up.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
No one I knew it was coming out, like because
it was announced, like it was one of the State
of Plays or something last year, one of the later ones. Yeah,
I remember seeing it. I remember seeing you think England
just looks like a yeah, it just looks a bit there.
But it's all these little things. It's like it's got
(44:56):
its own art style again. And it's like the fact
that it's got every figure. It's got really good combat.
It's term basis, which I'm so glad it's turn basis.
I love turn based combat. But it's got like turn
based combat. And it's got this like parrying system which
looks really cool as well. Like graphically it looks amazing.
Soundtrack is just incredible, Like characters are really like so
(45:17):
just everything. This is why it's doing so well is
because it is that technical thing again where less is
more in a way that they've got hardly anyone at
the studio yet somehow compared to all these game companies
that have hundreds of people that are just way too
many people out of fur to your people, you can
make a game that is that highly rated just basically
(45:40):
proves the point of these bigger companies are doing something
wrong in the way that they're not peasing the actual
people playing either go they're an agendas or whatever. But yeah,
this game highly played it, but I'm desperate to play it.
Speaker 2 (45:56):
I'm seeing someone play it right now. It does look
good from the streamer themselves. Is just dancing in a
red dress before doing anything first awful, horrible, I don't
know what. Yeah, I'm on at least.
Speaker 3 (46:10):
Be a yellow dress.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
Just them dancing in their red dress before they press
the fighting button, just like. Okay, but the game looks cool. Well,
the it's just kind of very person I think.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
Well based fantasy like pen It's sort of just it's
just typical j RP. Turin based of the of old,
which is why I think a lot of people liking
as well, because it's it's not being it's the combat.
It's not being like, oh, we want to be like
sort of hack and flash, but you know, round based whatever,
you know, tactical, it's just like, no, we're just going
(46:47):
turn based stuff. We know people love based stuff as
much as theyone denies it. Probably older people like it
a lot more because it's nostalgic in a way, but
like ourselves. But like it's just tell yeah, want to
play this badly?
Speaker 3 (47:01):
Actually, anybody interest?
Speaker 2 (47:03):
I will play it if I can get hold.
Speaker 1 (47:04):
Of someone buy it for me, please, that's the end.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
Fantastic Okay, okay, then I'll bring up this game. Then
what because you talked about that, Well, they're remastered of
geez War coming out. Oh yeah, that is That was
my childhood playing Gears of War even though you shouldn't
play it as a child, but still.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
First played on three sixty mental I think it was.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
One of the first couple of games I played on
the three six.
Speaker 3 (47:41):
Remember playing I have a question about this game, Yes, okay,
I will ask you. The thing in our chat to
have this is PlayStation Gears of what coming.
Speaker 1 (47:58):
To p S five? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (48:00):
What the fuck?
Speaker 2 (48:01):
The was an Xbox?
Speaker 1 (48:02):
This is? Yeah? This is all this is the line
of those games.
Speaker 2 (48:06):
Like there's no Xbox exclusives anymore.
Speaker 3 (48:11):
Yeah, that's just crazy, right, It's like PlayStation tweeting this now.
I mean I'm sure Xbox did too, but like, yeah,
even mentioned almost like if you just saw this tweet,
you'd be like, oh cool, war has come to PlayStation specifically.
Speaker 1 (48:30):
Yeah, it's mental though. I mean, once again, that is
it's crazy to think that all these Xbox the things
that basically keep an Xbox is a competitor. I feel
have just it feels like the Thrown and the Town, like, yeah,
they go PlayStation, just have everything. It just it's a
bit sad in a way. This is you know, like
(48:52):
it's just say, it's like a free sixty. This is
like what's what's the word? Like, it's a free sixty
Like the Board of the Gate. It was so like
but you have to obviously have an Xbox player like
back in the day, and it was so just nostalgic
and it was such a brilliant game for it. I
love the Give War series, so have not PlayStation. It
(49:14):
fantastic because now I can play it again. But it's
a bit like, yeah, well it will be yeah, definitely,
that's one of the things.
Speaker 2 (49:22):
I was the guy that ran around instead of shooting.
I would just around with the Lancer and just try
and change so as many people as I could. Before
I was yeah that that was it because I was
how many was there like three of them? Was there four?
I think four?
Speaker 1 (49:39):
And then I think there's like a one called like
Tactics or something. I feel like there's like a you know,
like what you call it, like a Age vampires, and
I don't know, maybe game mixed up. I don't know.
I think I thinkthing else.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
From the game.
Speaker 1 (49:56):
Yeah, I think the first one is like I don't
know how they're going to capture it in this release,
but like the perform was so gritty and like it's gray.
Like all I remember from the game is the colors
were gray and red, because red was just all over
your screen.
Speaker 2 (50:13):
Eventually, Yeah, because said at Night, wasn't it in any
of the missions?
Speaker 1 (50:17):
Well, it's just as well. It's that typical gray, gray blue,
the greeny weird where it's just the Xbox for like
three sixty old games were just not very colorful, like
they had that gritty like it's that three sixty ps
three Like you look at most of the this like
steepier tone or like it's beige, very beigey, Like I
(50:40):
think I saw a clip of MGS four the other
day actually, and I was looking, Oh my god, it's
so like beigey orange e like that's the only color
of that game. And it's but then it's still one
of the best games on playstage for three. But it's
just like, I look at a thing in God, this
is what we used to play, man Like, these games
looks so gritty and just no color in them. They
(51:03):
just seem so colorless, but they were still brilliant. So
but you know it, Gus War, I'm I'm hiped. I'm
very hard to them.
Speaker 2 (51:14):
Yes, that's coming out what August twenty sixth apparently, Yes,
no delays just yet. I think there's another game on
the list that rest could put in at the very top.
Speaker 3 (51:31):
Yeah, I think I've had this on the last three,
like it's a funny one. We've only known three. But
we're not We're not near the end. So I'm going
to actually bring up the Carters two as they released.
If you don't know what the Carters two is, well,
first of all, there is no Carters one. I think
it got removed from Steam because it was bad. But
(51:54):
the Carter is coming out soon. This is a car
racing game. It will be on PC. It's like an
indie game, and what I like the most about it
is that the control scheme is heavily inspired by Crash
Team Racing m HM so if you know the podcasting.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
You know the podcast with the Crashing Racing.
Speaker 3 (52:16):
Yeah no, this is now a Crash Team Racing podcast. OK.
Speaker 1 (52:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (52:22):
If you know the mechanics for Crash Team Racing and
why they are good, then you will know why this
game is cool. And of course it's a modern game, right,
Like I mean, the classic Crashing Racing is a classic
and that has online. Now we should probably actually try
playing that someday. But then there's a new Crashing Racing
but it's only on console and the online is a
(52:43):
bit crappy. Oh adaw has disappeared and I was back.
Speaker 2 (52:48):
Purpose I just did it too late.
Speaker 3 (52:51):
Yeah, well I got YouTube up in my peripheral vision,
so it's so delayed. You probably did it with good timing.
Speaker 2 (52:57):
Yeah, I'm sorry. Don't think it's being picked up.
Speaker 3 (53:02):
No, well not on Discord anyway. Dam But yeah, so
this is you know, it's a PC game, it's a
modern HD game. It has obviously online multiplayer. I don't
know how many players off the top of my head,
but a fair amount as many as Marcott World of course.
But speaking about Marriacott World, they have decided to release
(53:22):
this game which has been developing development for some years now,
and we're never having we're never having an actual release date.
They have decided to release it the same week as
Mario Kart World. But I think it's actually quite logical
because switch To is well number one expensive, number two
already sold out. Everyone wants married a new card game
(53:46):
because they see all the friends and streamers playing Maryacott World.
They'll find this newly released carter just too, and maybe
they'll give that it might actually be the best time
to release this game.
Speaker 2 (53:58):
And will be playing that too, because we have got
Horror of Ice Switches.
Speaker 1 (54:02):
Well, I did do the what's call it? Just do it?
Why not, like because you know me may get it.
I'm not that bothered though, it's still like it's I
guess I'm going to have the same I'm worrying the
same thing with PS five, so I don't need it,
(54:23):
And then when everyone's getting on, it's like I can't
need it, but.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
Like, oh's got this and all this, and you were
dropping like where to get them, and you were trying
to get hold of them, and then we all tried.
Speaker 1 (54:34):
Yeah, I'm basically desperate to like get them at at
one point because it's just like, I don't know. The
PS five is a pretty decent step up from PS four.
I'm glad, Like if they reached per six now or something.
I can't think of anything that would make me think
on but now I need that one because like the
(54:54):
main thing for me is simply the cell of sixty frames.
I'm like, that's all I need. I just don't want
to playing thirty frames because it's disgusting. But like, yeah,
it's just with this switch too, though there's not enough
on it. Marrick, Yeah, that'd be cool, but the other
games are like, oh, they're just releases. Don Kyong one
looks pretty cool as well, but it's not enough. It's
(55:15):
not like Mario or Breath of the World. It's not
the same, not the same.
Speaker 3 (55:23):
Well, yeah, every Pokemon that makes me really want one.
Speaker 4 (55:27):
So all they have to do they put like Pokemon
xt in colum and like all the married parties on
the GameCube thing, or least I probably would have been desperate,
but they the game games are like, yeah, okay, cool.
Speaker 2 (55:42):
I guess you guys haven't noticed either that even the
switch ones with the new update has given it the
kind of switch to layout with all the new features
including the the the what's it called the cartridge thing,
the download game cartridge mode, and stuff like that. It's
(56:04):
all been added to our first switches that I have switch.
That's kind of they changed the layout now. So if
I don't know if you guys have update George yet,
but that's the new update, you better do that otherwise
your battery might not work. That's a good point because
they say six months and it might not work.
Speaker 1 (56:26):
Mine's definitely six months.
Speaker 3 (56:31):
It's definitely been every year for me play switch game
for stream.
Speaker 1 (56:38):
I mean I probably will I well, i'll probably do
to get us switched to, will be selling my switch anyway,
and probably a few games. But I don't know. I
just I not love what I mean. I'm glad if
there's more stuff that comes out for.
Speaker 2 (56:53):
It, but yeah, switch to. Do you know? Do you
what do you think of the two versions of the
switch to the one that we can get and the
Japanese version of it.
Speaker 3 (57:04):
Isn't any difference that one only has Japanese. Yes, well then.
Speaker 2 (57:11):
It's cheaper.
Speaker 1 (57:14):
We can't get it.
Speaker 2 (57:15):
No, do you know why they've done that as well?
It's because they stop they're trying to stop scalpers from
going to Japan, buying them all out and then trying
to sell.
Speaker 3 (57:23):
It.
Speaker 2 (57:23):
Doesn't stop the European ones being sold on scalpul.
Speaker 1 (57:27):
Hits about us at the end of the day, like
people are going to do it anyway, So it's just
it sucks. I mean, Nintendo are pretty bad with anything
to do like any kind of their material going off,
like piracy. They're so so and like they're crazy anti piracy,
which I get because.
Speaker 2 (57:45):
It's because it kills it. It kills the industry for
them to make more because people aren't spending money for
them to be able to make it.
Speaker 1 (57:51):
Yeah, but it doesn't really kill it because there's enough
people spending money on it. But I'm not like Resk.
I mean, I'd never pirate.
Speaker 2 (58:02):
You are a pirate? Are are.
Speaker 1 (58:06):
No one? No one to sing that to me? I'd
cry if that to God.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
I missed watching LazyTown. I'm told for LazyTown.
Speaker 1 (58:15):
You only stopped the other day.
Speaker 2 (58:17):
No, I'm not sport.
Speaker 1 (58:20):
Oh you haven't stopped.
Speaker 3 (58:23):
You are number one, number one, you say, but yes.
To finish up on the actual topic, look to turbo
Charge launches twenty Fi Sorry June second, twenty twenty five,
and it's technically Steam Early Access even though it's been
in development for like four years. But it is like
one guy making it. So by the way it has
(58:46):
modding and and if it's had moding in like the
beta versions for some time, they have over one thousand
mods for this unreleased game. Like that's crazy, It's pretty crazy.
So yeah, I'm looking forward to that. It's less than
a month away now that I read this, So yeah,
I mean expect expect to stream with that, perhaps just
by myself if these guys don't want to. I mean
(59:08):
I think neither of them can probably run it. Actually maybe,
but we'll see. But yeah, I will certainly be streaming this.
I'll marry her current world week so.
Speaker 2 (59:18):
Forward because the space boy can't afford to switch to.
Speaker 1 (59:23):
Space.
Speaker 2 (59:27):
Actually, I want you to. I want you to cover
Spaceman by who's seeing Spaceman one of the Jonas Brothers
Spaceman traveling.
Speaker 1 (59:41):
You've done, look what you've done.
Speaker 3 (59:43):
I'm not doing a Jonas Brothers cover.
Speaker 1 (59:46):
Of year three thousand, which the Americans believe.
Speaker 2 (59:49):
Is Yeah, I had that conversation with someone last year.
I think they go off about the year three thousand
and they go oh, Jonas bro No, I said it's busted.
Busted was the wrong that sung it? They go, no,
surely it's a cover, like, no, yeah it was. It
was a back and forth conversation with this other YouTuber
(01:00:11):
about trying to tell them busted was the original singers.
Now it's muck busted because they both play together.
Speaker 1 (01:00:21):
They're back, They're back to bust it. Now.
Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
I want to sing Thunderbirds, my favorite song, you Get
You screenway comes around playing it shave On another game topic,
then the monthly games that I've added to my console
which don't look appealing.
Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
They are are they? I didn't know that.
Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
It's a day late, bud, Yeah, but they came on
the sixth of May. And I think ARC is the
new ones that I will probably give a go because.
Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
I know a lot of no no, no, no, hold on.
Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
I know a lot of people play art Pro is fantastic.
Speaker 1 (01:01:05):
You should play Blatro. It doesn't say twice anywhere, but
Ballatro is so good. It's so good, like it was
called that's what no seriously.
Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Comic guy disappear. But also the all right, I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:01:35):
Understand Bilater I've seen and I'm like, what the fuck
is you make poker.
Speaker 1 (01:01:43):
Hands, but there's a load of crazy like be like
what who even thought of it?
Speaker 3 (01:01:53):
Like what like what's going on?
Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
Balance? It's crazy, like is like weird cards that do
weird hitting it like that are just not normal, like
you know, like you're playing. You start off with just
a normal hand and then you get like you keep
going and go, and you could buy stuff in the
store on it, and it gives you like weird boosts
and stuff, and it's just it's addictive. It's one of
(01:02:18):
those games where you start playing it and you think,
like like you have like they said, it's just poker,
it's just just a poker game, like who really cares?
And then then you realize that actually is really good
and it's really addictive and you want to keep playing
and it's it's, yeah, it's really good. I'm glad that
it's a good game to have on this. I know
(01:02:38):
it's not my player, I think, but it at least
means that. No, I don't think, well I don't unless
that Scotch multiplayer that I've somehow missed, but I'm pretty
sure it's not.
Speaker 3 (01:02:51):
It's on here because it's I mean, maybe the initial
hype is fading already, but that's a popular game. I
was surprised to see on there is it?
Speaker 1 (01:03:02):
Yeah? Nice?
Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
Oh yeah. At least a month or two ago, my
feed was fucking full of Plater like everyone Plater, I
get it, but it was everywhere.
Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
For me nomine. So yeah, that shows how how high
up it I mean to get that.
Speaker 3 (01:03:21):
You know, it's actually on here with you know Arc and.
Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
That I mean, I mean Arc. Maybe I don't know,
like is it even worth playing that? I don't know
like people do like Arc. It's a game that yeah, yeah,
you know dinosaurs, Jurassic Park. Basically, I wish that was
just a good drastic park game.
Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
And a survival game where you build things and it's
like Minecraft for three D.
Speaker 3 (01:03:46):
It's one of those games I'm just not gonna put
the time into. So no, I'm not going to.
Speaker 1 (01:03:50):
It's a time consuming game. Yeah, definitely. I think that
that's the issue it's going to be. There's gonna be
so much like it's one of those games again, like
there's so many games like it where you have to
put in time just to actually get what you want
out of it. And it's like, do I want to
put my time into dinosaurs. Well, I don't know. I'm
not that bothered, so I don't know. Yeah, I may
(01:04:12):
play it, like if we want to stream at some
point maybe, like you know, I'd be happy to do that.
Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
But it's free anymore on the game up front before
we move on to something else.
Speaker 3 (01:04:26):
I think that's everything that game related we have on here,
So you know you want to move on to Yeah,
we're not done yet.
Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
It's low yes, I mean it's not trying to cut shortly.
Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
I'm going to sell your topics.
Speaker 2 (01:04:42):
Actually, wait, how many did I put down?
Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
Well?
Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
One might be a joke.
Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
However, there are three things to the announcement that I
have Yeah, yeah, the announcement hang on me, I've closed
the thing by and oops, where's the thing? Make it bigger? Yes,
the announcement is WRES will be soon releasing a jazz
(01:05:08):
song cover.
Speaker 3 (01:05:11):
This is a joke.
Speaker 2 (01:05:15):
Hello, I don't think it worked because I don't have
any of my redeems set up for the podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:05:22):
I do apologize.
Speaker 2 (01:05:25):
Otherwise you would have had a talking orange cat from
Resa's favorite anime.
Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
Wait what orange Cat? Yes, Yellow Garfield?
Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
Hello, how are you hell?
Speaker 3 (01:05:43):
That was yellow? I thought you mean the one you
never remember your father cates.
Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
Yes, the one I have as a redeem for hello
when someone yes, because it's super allowed, but only I
hear it when.
Speaker 1 (01:06:01):
It's what is this? Why why have you suddenly mentioned
a jazzing? Well, what's what's.
Speaker 2 (01:06:08):
The It was a joke. I put it in there
as a joke because I said.
Speaker 1 (01:06:15):
I thought I was actually singing jazz. Well, I do
want to sing and we want you to as well.
Speaker 3 (01:06:23):
My dream.
Speaker 2 (01:06:24):
No, it's because you know. It's because I put in
the discord server happy National Jazz Day when it was
jazz Day, like jazz, and then I put a jazz
song that I liked underneath it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:40):
Is that why I had the dream?
Speaker 2 (01:06:42):
Probably that.
Speaker 3 (01:06:44):
Of April.
Speaker 2 (01:06:46):
Yeah, that's when I put it on.
Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
No, that's when you put it on. I've had my
dream on the twentieth of April, ten days prior.
Speaker 2 (01:06:56):
I put my dream. Let me zoom up after Yeah,
we go the thirtieth of April. April, Yeah, April, Happy
International Jazz Day.
Speaker 3 (01:07:09):
Yeah that's what I said.
Speaker 2 (01:07:10):
But when's your solo jazz music podcast?
Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
Yes, but that was a reference to my dream on
the twentieth.
Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
Oh, I didn't know you, but you never mentioned a
dream prior to that, I did as a dude reader
that yeah, you're where did you put it?
Speaker 3 (01:07:33):
Just general? How far on the twentieth it's twentieth, so
quite far. Hourmist before I posted the initial.
Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
D shoes like wait the shoes that I want?
Speaker 3 (01:07:44):
Yeah, it's right before you posted a picture of eighty
six on your Twitter. What what it was was? I
said that I had a dream, Oh.
Speaker 2 (01:07:54):
Yeah, when I was sleeping during it, I had a
dream that Aliro posted a really long announcement post about
his solo podcast about jazz music.
Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
So there's nothing to do with International Jazz Day. I
just dreamt you had a jazz podcast, like.
Speaker 2 (01:08:11):
And then I talked about jazz on International Jazz Day,
and then you brought it back up again.
Speaker 3 (01:08:16):
Which I so forgot even though I replied to it.
Speaker 2 (01:08:20):
Jazz don I jazz.
Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
Let us know in the comments in the chat if
you want to hear a wazz jazz cover a wazz
cover jazz, wazz and jazz.
Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
I will be wearing Bumblebee outfits.
Speaker 1 (01:08:42):
We will be wearing the Transformer outfit.
Speaker 2 (01:08:45):
Oh look, I guess because we talked about music, we
can bring in another music thing that me and guy, like,
I don't know how much RESC likes them. Okay, they're
bringing out their twenty anniversary vinyl box with all their
(01:09:05):
albums as vinyls in a massive like a Japanese rock band, right,
and is a Japanese rock band, Yes.
Speaker 1 (01:09:12):
Yeah, they're quite. They're quite sort of like.
Speaker 2 (01:09:17):
They're very americanized now because yeah, because it was American
label picked them up after a while and they became
very Americanized.
Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
They have gone like their newest album is a bit
like I said to you, it's like there's quite a
bit of Japanese, isn't it. It's more than like the
previous one that I had nothing apart from the Japanese version.
Speaker 2 (01:09:38):
Yeah, I keep getting even because I listened to them
when they were just making their Japanese ones, and then
I would now just keep getting the Japanese album which
has has the songs in Japanese on it, but then
they also have the songs that they sung in English
and the American version Japanese. That's why it goes like
in brackets Japanese version even though it's on the Japanese album,
(01:10:01):
because not because not all of them were Japanese in
the first place. So it's very americanized. He's got a
very what is his name? Am I getting confused with
the initial?
Speaker 3 (01:10:14):
All you can think about now?
Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
I did watch MF Ghost last night and it was
really cool, really good. They were they were racing Volcano
Volcano land, so they were slipping and sliding on ash
in the rain.
Speaker 1 (01:10:27):
Differ, that's terribly old.
Speaker 3 (01:10:36):
It's a reference to a Grand Turismo's six lobby name
that different different a bitter Diffiden.
Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
You must bounce on it crazy style.
Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
What I think he's watching certain things he should be
talking about. Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:11:05):
It was a meme from the Cyclophone and I wanted
to bring it in randomly.
Speaker 3 (01:11:08):
And it was it was it's from the what that
means it's.
Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
From a movie or TV series or something. And then
they just kept quoting it and it was just funny.
I know I'm doing it.
Speaker 3 (01:11:21):
There you go.
Speaker 1 (01:11:23):
You copying something from an animal or.
Speaker 2 (01:11:26):
Yes, the Cyclephone was an anime, of course, it basically was.
Speaker 3 (01:11:31):
Iron Mouse was in it.
Speaker 1 (01:11:32):
Yeah, series.
Speaker 3 (01:11:38):
You had imagine if you had Iron Man, Iron Mouse
and the Isle of Man and Iron made.
Speaker 1 (01:11:49):
To which I have two tickets, baby baby, Yeah what.
Speaker 3 (01:11:57):
If they I don't know? Did at.
Speaker 2 (01:12:06):
News about actually iron most life. Just remember she's spoke
in Congress. I don't know which. I think it was
today or yesterday.
Speaker 3 (01:12:13):
In Congress.
Speaker 2 (01:12:14):
She's spoke in Congress about the charity event in America America. Yeah,
it's a it's a. It's a. It's a clip on
Collins Channel. He talks about that. She talked Congress.
Speaker 3 (01:12:30):
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:12:32):
Is it's big. It's uh, it's uh, it's out there,
it's big. I'm surprised.
Speaker 3 (01:12:38):
Yeah, that's mad.
Speaker 2 (01:12:42):
Well, they did raise over a million dollars, so surely
somebody's watching. And it's their fourth one.
Speaker 3 (01:12:52):
To keep with the topic of anime, I think this
is anime. What is to be hero X?
Speaker 2 (01:12:57):
Oh, yes, I'm glad you brought that up to b X.
Is to be hero X Sorry? Is an anime series
airing which is about superheroes and it involves streaming culture
and being things for and doing things for the fans
and all that kind of stuff. It's where heroes only
got their powers because of their audience backing, and they
(01:13:21):
can only do certain things with how their audience responds
to certain things. And I like the animation style. It's
done by Chinese and a Japanese animation studios, and they
go from like a three D kind of movie star animation,
and then when something really cool happens or fights in apples,
it kind of like smashes into a comic book two
(01:13:45):
D style. And the music's great. I like the opening.
It's done by what's his name? It's the one that
has like a long name, and then if there's someone
else singing or something, they put their name at the
end of it.
Speaker 3 (01:13:58):
I don't know if you heard that, know, with blessed
for or something like that. I don't know that was
That's what comes to mind when you say that.
Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
So here hero Yuki and then brackets end ZK racket.
Speaker 3 (01:14:16):
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, well that yeah, that's
a cool soundtrack probably then yeah, and.
Speaker 2 (01:14:24):
Then he does more of He also does the background
songs as well, so a lot of them are obviously
some are not sung by him, but they just have
his name underneath him because he's the one that, like
what's the word, help make it? They composed? That's it,
because he's a composed usually more and a music producer
(01:14:44):
and singer. But yeah, it's really good. It's on par
with how popular to me, how I think how popular
My Hero Academy is this one as well, because it involves, yeah,
the streaming kind of culture as well around it, because
like I said, the heroes are controlled by their actions,
(01:15:08):
are controlled by how their audience responds. And it's done
and it's simple dubbed as well, so when it comes out,
it's Japanese. Oh well Chinese first, Mandarin Japanese audio, and
then English dub. I am watching the English dub because
I just clicked that the first one and it was
(01:15:30):
the English dub, and then I just they picked quite
good to cast, and then if I ever do rewatch it,
I will rewatch it in the other languages. But yeah,
it's a Chinese and Japanese animation and I like the
art style of it, and.
Speaker 3 (01:15:44):
The story sounds pretty neat.
Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
I will post more about it in the discord as
I go, because it's quite a good show. I think
I shared you in our prior discord a picture of
it once. But apparently it is late as a sequel
to all the other two B Hero series, but it's
I've watched the last previous two before as they were airing.
(01:16:12):
They're just linked in the way. They're just to do
with the same universe and kind of the same heroes.
But this one is where the animation styles completely changed
from all the other two. See I'll post, yes, I'll
post this picture. I think. Oh, yeah, the main character
(01:16:32):
is the hero is called Nice. I'll give you that. Yeah,
he wears all white, he's got white hair, and he's
called Nice. That's the main hero. We focus on. Very
strange and it gives it just gives me like three
D animation movie style for the most part, and then
(01:16:52):
obviously that's when and then they change into two D
style when something happens or a fight scene happens. We'll
like when it gets impactful. But I've posted in our
private discord Risker what the style is just to show
you what I mean.
Speaker 3 (01:17:08):
It reminds me of I haven't seen this, so I
might be wrong, but I think of like Arcane and
stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (01:17:18):
Yes, that's it, that's the similar style. Yes to Arcane. Yeah,
which I then realized it's not an actually anime either Arcane.
Speaker 3 (01:17:28):
It's made in America, I guess.
Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
Yeah, I think it's done in America, like because I
did that with the New Devil May Cry series. I
thought it was an anime. Wanting to put it on
Mau and then turns out I couldn't put it on
Mouth because it's an American animation.
Speaker 1 (01:17:43):
Landric like anime. How dare they? No?
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
I really like this one. I don't watch a lot
of American animations because yeah, obviously I'm a bit biased.
Speaker 1 (01:17:54):
How like, No, not new.
Speaker 2 (01:17:57):
It's because generally am done in Japan or other or
slightly Chinese studios are done to different called a different
I don't know what's to what's the word you can
tell there's a difference between storytelling, and obviously I grew
up with American and British and actually anime as well
(01:18:21):
before I knew what anime was and all that, and
generally the ones that I thought were good turned to
be the ones made in Japan. But I am watching
a lot more American ones now because I thought they
were anime at one point, because people would say they're anime.
But obviously restklers pointed out animes just Japanese for animations,
so they can call it an anime even though it's
(01:18:41):
not made in Japan. And they've been quite good, even
the Devil May Cryer one. I don't know much about
Devil May Cry, but I enjoyed the animation play it.
But I've also put my plan to watch lists the
original Devil May Cry anime that came out in two
thousand and seven.
Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
I probably wouldnt watch that.
Speaker 2 (01:19:01):
That's not right yet, but they're already gonna make The'll
Make Cray season two. That's in the works now anyway, So.
Speaker 1 (01:19:09):
Wat sort of the things I do need to watch,
actually catch up on a few things, but I do
want to watch that. Ah.
Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
We also have here another adro topic, new Pepsi flavors. Oh,
I didn't know there were any pepsi flavors and who
has got bored of pepsi? Max Sherry and move home
to Doctor Pepper zero.
Speaker 2 (01:19:43):
I think Risco will go back to pepsi now because
I have tried both new flavors of pepsi not sponsored,
and they were really tasted and I can drink a
lot more of them because I when I first tasted
the cream soda one, uh, because obviously I try to
(01:20:05):
get hold of the strawberries and cream one, but that
one was sold out because it's really nice, cream tasted.
I went taste a bit flat, but I read the
can and it says low carbonated, so I guess that's
why it's not as powerful fizzy as a normal pepsi.
And the taste is very nice, little sweet, but then
(01:20:30):
the more sweet version of it is distribuans and cream one,
and I prefer cream one, but those both taste great.
And I do like the can design as well, the
colors all sorts. It makes me want to keep the cans,
but obviously I'm not going to be a horder and
keep them, but you know, I like the design and
they're very tasty. I just ran out, so I need
(01:20:50):
to get some more at some point when they're not
sold out everywhere.
Speaker 1 (01:20:55):
And.
Speaker 3 (01:20:57):
I have to try and track these down there.
Speaker 2 (01:21:03):
They are in most big supermarkets that I found, and
some other random ones as well, but yeah, they're they're tasty.
I've also been drinking some more ramone soda that I
found in my local supermarket, so I bought bottles of them.
I had the strawberry one was very nice. I'm just
(01:21:25):
gonna wait.
Speaker 1 (01:21:25):
For they weren't finished.
Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
Ah, yes, the finished. Yeah. When I try to order
it at another restaurant and they go, oh, it's finished,
I think, yes, that's what I mean. We've already talked
about it last podcast. That's the that's the genuinely finished
even though it's a bottle, I don't understand, And even
(01:21:52):
all the other drinks were finished as well. It didn't
make any sense, but I finally got a drink in
the end.
Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
Very funny.
Speaker 2 (01:22:01):
Yes, it was.
Speaker 3 (01:22:03):
The other food or thing you've got on Here is
the new bisk Off dairy milk.
Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
Oh that almost tasty. I finished all of it. I
had to get through quite a bit of chocolate to
begin with, because Easter happened and they had a mountain.
Why did you get through them? I didn't want to, like,
you know, stare out chocolate and.
Speaker 3 (01:22:25):
I had only had zero, only zero. I couldn't. I
think it's I can never bring myself to buy an
Easter egg, even though.
Speaker 2 (01:22:33):
One now where they've gone down to they are.
Speaker 3 (01:22:36):
Like, well, okay, I haven't seen any clearance ones where
I have been, but yeah, like it's like they are
overpriced for the amount of chocolate, right, and it's like.
Speaker 2 (01:22:47):
Uh, but it's the tasty chocolate if you get the
dairy ones.
Speaker 3 (01:22:51):
Well, even the dairy milk egg, like the egg itself
is that actually dairy milk?
Speaker 2 (01:22:59):
Yes, think it is they're not going to make it.
Speaker 3 (01:23:03):
Well, not a lot of them. Like for example, let's
say a kit Cat egg that's KitKat about the egg itself,
nothing right, I had cat aspect in there, even if
it's the same chocolate. You don't buy the kit Kat
bar for just the chocolate, right, because.
Speaker 2 (01:23:23):
You get given kit cats in it. Because I've got But.
Speaker 3 (01:23:25):
Then I could just buy some kit Cats. The egg
is over the egg plus the bars is so overpriced
compared to buying a bunch of bars.
Speaker 2 (01:23:36):
We're talking about that. My last egg to go is
the kit Cat one. And this one's special because literally
I'm staring at it right now, and you were talking
about kit Cat and I've got the kit Cat one.
They came with the white chocolate bar and the normal
chocolate bar, and the egg is half white, half other chocolate.
Speaker 3 (01:23:56):
Okay, well that's interesting, So I've got that.
Speaker 1 (01:24:00):
That's but going back to the.
Speaker 3 (01:24:05):
You must no, yes, that is once that came over here,
I was always buying it.
Speaker 2 (01:24:15):
I don't know, I haven't seen it in a while,
but I've been getting the white chocolate versions of things,
the white chocolate twigs and the white chocolate kick cap.
Oh my god, it's very nice.
Speaker 3 (01:24:27):
As a white chocolate enjoyer. I'm not gonna lie.
Speaker 2 (01:24:29):
I do. It's like a flavor. I've never had it
on before. If it's just the white chocolate milky bar
and all that.
Speaker 3 (01:24:37):
Guys, have you tried white chocolate digestives?
Speaker 2 (01:24:41):
I tried the camera I have.
Speaker 3 (01:24:45):
Came was pretty good. But I mean so the dark chocolate,
but they're not new to all. But like I mean,
I mean that's the milk chocolate is pretty good. I'm
not gonna lie. The planes are pretty good, but the
white chocolate.
Speaker 2 (01:24:57):
As soon as it's coming out of wood works. But yeah,
the bisc of one, it really does taste like a
bisc off covered in dairy milk chocolate, and it's very Yeah.
But you know what favors where they go like it
tastes a bit like it or that's not really the
(01:25:17):
fla not really substance signed it, but it is. It
really is just a bisk off covered in dairy milk chocolate,
and it's very tasty. I wonder if they would do
a white.
Speaker 3 (01:25:28):
Chocolate broo, it wouldn't be dairy milk.
Speaker 2 (01:25:31):
They would wait, does their milk have a white chocolate?
Speaker 3 (01:25:34):
Well no, because the dairy milk is, well, dairy milk
is specifically that recipe of.
Speaker 2 (01:25:42):
Yeah, but dairy milk itself is the name of a
brand because they always say they.
Speaker 3 (01:25:47):
Dairy milk is a specific chocolate that's half of milk.
They say, right, yeah, I'm getting.
Speaker 1 (01:25:56):
Right because Cabris is the actual company.
Speaker 3 (01:25:59):
Yeah, I know it, ran, You're right, but like it's
quite specific and not most cabre chocolate bars don't use
dairy milk. And it was a bit of outrage years
ago right when changed their chocolate to Generics instead of
hairy milk. Specifically, they are.
Speaker 2 (01:26:17):
In that sentence the way Rescuers says, Oh, they were
going to call it and then you said dick, So
I thought, wait what they called it?
Speaker 3 (01:26:23):
Dick? I was like, no, you just call them, you say,
can I.
Speaker 1 (01:26:29):
Just like, way quickly, have you seen this TikTok? I mean,
it was like it's probably not in TikTok, it's probably
so old. It was like a YouTube thing or even
a vine. But the Australia and like they have a
sider called Dickens Cider and there's a load of people
just like doing it. And this is why I love
(01:26:50):
dick Insider and all this stuff, and of course, like
you can tell what the joke is straight away from
the name, and when they're saying it in their Aussie
accent as well. It's so funny because it's like a
TV but no one seems to get what the actual
what they're trying to say.
Speaker 2 (01:27:07):
You're saying it's the drink, but it's the Australian TV
commercial that I remember being funny was when they were
trying to say the word deck when they were talking
about painting their deck, but it sounds like they're saying dick.
And that was the funny part because they just you
were just hearing I'm painting my dick.
Speaker 1 (01:27:30):
Yeah. Well the he's like some of the really strong accents.
You're just like, oh my god, it sounds that sounds
so strange.
Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
Another bit of a.
Speaker 1 (01:27:39):
That's it's cool a bit.
Speaker 2 (01:27:41):
Of course.
Speaker 3 (01:27:42):
I didn't plan this at all, but today I bought
the Darim brisk off because I saw it. Shall I
try it?
Speaker 2 (01:27:53):
Take a bite right now on stream and have them.
Speaker 1 (01:28:00):
Wait, what it okay? While you're grabbing your dick, while
you're grabbing the have you I don't think you've You
wouldn't have had it added on this when that day.
I think it came out today. But the Bisco mcflurry.
Speaker 2 (01:28:13):
Yes, I did, but I've had that as soon as
it was announcemer like my sister's crazy about McDonald's, I
went McDonald's. I'm having this. I tried. I tried the
basins of mcflurry.
Speaker 1 (01:28:29):
New new come out like yesterday or before.
Speaker 2 (01:28:33):
I've had it. I've had it months ago when it
came out last time. And the new one I tried
as well was the sour apple for the minecraft.
Speaker 1 (01:28:41):
I had that.
Speaker 2 (01:28:41):
That was so nice.
Speaker 1 (01:28:44):
That was great. It was quite good amount of numbers
and crapping it. You know, there's probably a lot, but
it was. It was quite good.
Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
I also had the chicken cats to wrap.
Speaker 1 (01:28:58):
I don't care about that. Well, I mean, that's a bit.
Speaker 2 (01:29:01):
Boring to curry, the only curry I can eat without dying.
Speaker 1 (01:29:07):
But it's not even like most courage that you've probably
had a mild yeah, like take a mass.
Speaker 2 (01:29:14):
Yeah, but if I go over the spice threshold, You've
seen what I'm like when I have my chicken, which
I actually bought from the local supermarket because obviously they
have the the the Japanese restaurant Kiosk and I just
picked up some Yeah, I also died. Then this is
just the ghost.
Speaker 1 (01:29:34):
It's not even hot.
Speaker 2 (01:29:37):
You should try for a toilet for the load I
have it. It does kill me and you've seen. Yeah,
nice kick to you. There's like a kick to the
face to me, a literal.
Speaker 3 (01:29:56):
God, just a segway from McDonald's. Stormsey has responded to me,
who to you, storms? Yeah, well, if I'm pretty sure
I've spoken to you guys about the Stormsy meal and
the inclusion of sprite. Well, in what I could only
(01:30:18):
describe as a response to myself, specifically, Stormsy's put out
a distract day for me, I could only assume it's
a distrack at me. Ah, it must be. I know
nothing else. There's a line in it that says, I
heard they want to hang me out to drive for
a nugget meal in response to criticism over his his
(01:30:44):
work with his work with McDonald's, I think in general,
but maybe the content of his nugget meal, as he
puts it, maybe the sprite in particular was a sticking point.
So Stormley has heard the complaints of of waz for
me and has responded in a distrack to rescue here.
(01:31:07):
So that's the only thing I can describe, is this
being what happened?
Speaker 1 (01:31:14):
Man like, It's so was rubbish, generally rubbish, I don't.
I hate that the minecraft made more sense, the meal,
the adult happy more if they want to call it.
I just don't get at all.
Speaker 2 (01:31:34):
The only thing I wanted was to be but I
didn't want to chance it again all the other crappy ones.
I wanted the bee toy because the bed looked cool.
The rest of them looked me. I didn't want to
waste and get like all the other ones before I
got my bee.
Speaker 1 (01:31:51):
Digging jerky.
Speaker 2 (01:31:54):
Don't get me started about that. I've watched too many
news articles and news things about the whole mind craft
memes and people going crazy throwing popcorn and making a
disaster for the stuff working out just because tiny ass
zombie sat on a chicken that is in the game anyway,
(01:32:15):
which no one mentions, And as soon as it's on
the movie and they go chicken jockey, everyone loses their
minds and throws things everywhere.
Speaker 1 (01:32:26):
That's cool.
Speaker 2 (01:32:26):
It was ridiculous. Another they're releasing it again with another
theater release of a singalong version.
Speaker 3 (01:32:38):
This is the thing. It's like the room in the cinema,
not the whole people spoon bit. Yeah, people bring plastic
spoons to chuck on a specific thing and their shout
spoons once they shout at fork. Because there's that one
fork scene.
Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
Well he threw a TV in the movie. They're gonna
throw TV's at the cinema screen to do.
Speaker 3 (01:33:06):
Minecraft movie will enter this niche you know, cult classic
sort of type of movie where the cinema screenings are
stupid on purpose and when when it becomes that and
not like interfering with actual normal cinema workers. I want
to go see that. I want to go see the
Minecraft movie in a similar setting to how I watched
(01:33:29):
The Room from Tommy, which was one of the most
hilarious and brilliant cinema experiences I've had. I haven't seen
it anywhere.
Speaker 2 (01:33:38):
Let's do a whole wave trip and watch the Minecraft
movie and then give it a rating.
Speaker 3 (01:33:43):
Well, I can probably rate it now, but.
Speaker 2 (01:33:48):
I obviously I know there's a lot of size of
people say it's bad and some people say it's good.
But the only people that says it's bad of the
adult gamers of my but someone said it it's good.
I say it's good when it's because it was aimed
it's me. It's aimed at kid humor, where it's like
(01:34:09):
the most stupidest things that people find funny because kids
finding funny, but we won't find funny. But people who
play the game thought the movie was catered to them,
but it's not. It's just catered to just a generic
kid movie.
Speaker 3 (01:34:24):
Well, my main issue with it is is looks cheap
as fuck, Like Steve is just Jack Black with a
T shirt, just jacked back and then and then Jason Momoa,
like it's just him like that. I know he's meant
to be transformed from he traveled into the world from
the real world or whatever, but he's just there's no
(01:34:45):
character design, you know what I mean That it's it's
just some guy. Steve is also some guy, and it's like,
could you not have put a bit more money into.
Speaker 2 (01:34:53):
The funny thing is as well with that the word
to be where he turns up and goes, I am Steve.
They changed the he says it in the final cut
to the actual trailer, and that's the most stupid thing ever.
That's anything I found about it, But I haven't seen it,
yet we'll watch it at some point.
Speaker 1 (01:35:11):
So once again, like it may look like cheap and
stuff and you completely understand that there's there's gonna be
like it's not gonna be fantastic, but once again, it's
done incredibly well, like probably the memes of course, and
I helped, but it generally looks like a good kids movie,
like as in like it's sort of funny and like
(01:35:33):
some of the stuff on it, I feel like, yeah,
maybe it is sort of this bit's targeted mortal adults,
and you know, it's like like a little sort of
subtle things at all. But it's just like Ja Black
as a man, like he's just brilliant, Yeah, pretty good.
I like him.
Speaker 2 (01:35:48):
I like I liked him in school Rock and all
that kind of stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:35:52):
Yeah, he was great and even like you know, and
he always has to release a song all the time
because we've got Peaches like twenty three, which was a
fantastic song, and then now we've got a Lot of Chicken,
which is actually on the actual radio in the top
forty and it's.
Speaker 2 (01:36:09):
Just singing about a lot of chicken. Is exactly the
last mean that I remember because of cinemas, was any
other film to do with funimation. I think it was
people would just randomly shout Aaron Yag before the movie started,
and it had nothing to do with tact or anything.
(01:36:29):
If it was another movie, they would just shout Aaron
Yeager and that was the big meme.
Speaker 1 (01:36:33):
Do you not remember that?
Speaker 3 (01:36:35):
Yeah, I vaguely. I remember hearing it from you more
than anything else.
Speaker 2 (01:36:39):
But yeah, because it happened when we watched a movie,
an anime movie where it went quiet just before the
movie started. A random guy with was.
Speaker 3 (01:36:47):
That at the festival? Because I mean they're just meaning, yeah, that.
Speaker 2 (01:36:50):
Was the festival. But yeah, it was just like we're
talking about movies. Guess what's coming out May fourteenth in
four K in the cinema?
Speaker 3 (01:37:00):
But isn't a movie?
Speaker 2 (01:37:01):
No, it's the Demon Slayer train movie. When I don't know,
but I've seen people, there's someone, there's a there's a
friend of mine in Australia who's watched it. So it's no.
Speaker 3 (01:37:15):
They're not in Australia.
Speaker 2 (01:37:17):
Huh.
Speaker 3 (01:37:18):
I had a friend in Australia who's seen it. But
they're not in Australia anymore.
Speaker 2 (01:37:21):
No, they live in Australia.
Speaker 3 (01:37:24):
Yeah, no they did, but they don't anymore in the
last few days, they're no longer living in Australia.
Speaker 2 (01:37:31):
Are we talking about the same person.
Speaker 3 (01:37:34):
No, almost certainly not.
Speaker 2 (01:37:36):
So don't confuse me.
Speaker 3 (01:37:38):
I tell you I just said the same.
Speaker 2 (01:37:41):
Same Oh you mean saying they've seen it.
Speaker 3 (01:37:44):
Okay in Australia. Who has seen it?
Speaker 2 (01:37:49):
Because it's out in Australia. First, Yeah, because I haven't
seen anything people.
Speaker 3 (01:37:55):
Between us that have seen it in Australia, didn't.
Speaker 2 (01:38:00):
I have a running with Meku twice in his life,
in my life so far, yeah, but I mean like
randomly more like I know, like when we go to
Comic Con that's more expected or stuff like that. But
I mean, like general, in general day to day life,
you've only met you've bumped into a Meku twice or
(01:38:21):
been more than twice.
Speaker 3 (01:38:24):
What was the first one?
Speaker 1 (01:38:28):
Years ago? That was weird. I was more interested in
the book because that was a way cooler. Yeah, I
remember like the Yeah, I mean the other day. I mean,
I won't go into much detail because I'll be doxing
myself whatever, but basically I saw someone in the middle
of Wednesday, liked like any other Wednesday, in the middle
of the day.
Speaker 3 (01:38:49):
Just dressed, just just casually, probably getting in the mood
for the worst podcast, which.
Speaker 1 (01:38:57):
I would imagine that. Yeah, isn't that what everyone does Wednesday? Anyway?
Is it like church? Like it's basically people do on Wednesdays.
Speaker 2 (01:39:05):
We are now becoming a religion. We are now taking
donations and praise.
Speaker 3 (01:39:11):
I like it.
Speaker 2 (01:39:15):
Well, give you instead of the holy water and a
bit of bread, will give you a soda can and
and a bisk of chocolate bar.
Speaker 3 (01:39:28):
Speaking of bisk off chocolate bar, are you going to
take and I will now eat a slice of chocolate?
Speaker 1 (01:39:36):
Is it?
Speaker 3 (01:39:41):
Mm hmmmm hmmm. I need, I need, I need the
thing to split the wine into except it's chocolate.
Speaker 2 (01:39:53):
I even would even flow out in the mouth properly.
That's because it is melt in your mouth. If you
try to spit it out, nothing will happen.
Speaker 1 (01:40:11):
Well, I think it will.
Speaker 3 (01:40:12):
If you powerfully spit, which obviously would be very different
to spinning out wine, then you could probably get most
of it. But I already think it through because it
was a joke, just trying to taste of chocolate like
I was wine tasting, which is why I said, like,
good body, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:40:28):
But you know with jokes, I'm going to take them
apart and question it reality. But you don't have a
tea to wash it down with, because it's very nice
when you eat a bit of chocolate it melts and
then you drink your tea, it's very nice. I've tasted
coffee the stream and it was not a good thing.
Speaker 3 (01:40:51):
That was very funny.
Speaker 2 (01:40:52):
I died.
Speaker 1 (01:40:55):
The best drink you can have. Exactly, you didn't die
very well.
Speaker 3 (01:40:59):
I'm your right half life.
Speaker 2 (01:41:01):
I don't know what it's called.
Speaker 1 (01:41:02):
Still here, still.
Speaker 2 (01:41:04):
Here, Still. I realized the rhyming work of that.
Speaker 1 (01:41:14):
I love.
Speaker 3 (01:41:20):
Yeah, I think we've covered all topics and that's anyone
questions before we look at some question.
Speaker 1 (01:41:30):
Do we have a questions?
Speaker 3 (01:41:32):
We still have leftover questions from the start? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:41:40):
What did we.
Speaker 2 (01:41:40):
Example like remember.
Speaker 3 (01:41:44):
Well, I fact did we even I actually lost track?
Did we do YV tubing? Yes, yes we did, Okay,
I thought we did the.
Speaker 2 (01:41:56):
Moment we did the favorite car We don't.
Speaker 3 (01:41:58):
Look, there's there's a huge one on here from We've
definitely not got to like that is a full podcast
length discussion waiting to happen. But I think before that,
we have a couple from d d M favorite Car.
We already did that.
Speaker 2 (01:42:16):
We've done that because Driver Across we did the whole
I did the whole conversation with initial d and post cars.
We we definitely haven't done this one, which is, would
you rather have unlimited bacon but no games or unlimited
(01:42:37):
games but no games? That makes no sense. You will
have limited games with no games, but then I don't
have games or limited of the games. The bacon is
out of the question.
Speaker 1 (01:42:54):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (01:42:55):
You could. You could just get bacon anyway, like bacon
doesn't cease to exist with the second option, no, but
games but games.
Speaker 2 (01:43:03):
Games don't exist, but you have games. That's the part
of a game.
Speaker 3 (01:43:08):
You have to think about it. You gotta think about
it philosophically. Okay, for example, in my Steam library, Oh, you.
Speaker 2 (01:43:17):
Have unlimited games, but technically you don't have games because
you have too many to play and then you don't
know which ones to play. Technically you won't play any that.
Speaker 3 (01:43:26):
I think that's the hidden meaning in I've Got It,
I'm a genius. Screw you. Unlimited bacon, unlimited bacon, probably
not unlimited bacon but no games or unlimited games but
no games.
Speaker 2 (01:43:48):
Damn it. But Anyway, we've got people on our chatters.
If any chatters want to write a question, feel free.
Speaker 1 (01:43:55):
Well in the meantime, if you been doing anything exciting recently.
Speaker 2 (01:44:00):
Having my blood drained, I went for a blood test
for an MT basically because of health stuff. That's why
I've been not very streaming lately. I've been going through
a lake. Yeah, well for a while, twenty one days
in counting twenty one days. Yeah, I've been having medical
(01:44:25):
tests because of certain aspects of my health. I went
from my blood test, the nurse went, oh, you've got
a very good vein. Tapping my arm with the vein
is oh, I know what you're thinking. It's disgusting. Anyway,
(01:44:45):
she was a bit asked, she was a bit awary
to do it or not because it was right. He
was right next to an artery. I didn't want to
get arteryal blood instead of vain blood, so she just
went for it. Yeah, two vowels of blood. I'm still
and I'm still waiting for the results. But yes, I
(01:45:07):
had a whole m O T of everything.
Speaker 1 (01:45:11):
And they don't know what's wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:45:12):
You know, this is my second blood test in two
years and they still don't know what's wrong with me,
But there is still there is something wrong. They just
can't work out what the imagine.
Speaker 3 (01:45:23):
They come back to you, you know, you visit again and
they can't come out to you with the results. They
look at their clip and say, I don't know, I
got bad news about the diagnosis. It turns out you're
a v tuber.
Speaker 2 (01:45:36):
Oh god, the irony, the iron play, the irony kissing
the iron.
Speaker 1 (01:45:52):
Your test.
Speaker 2 (01:45:54):
I like it. I don't know why I did it.
Speaker 1 (01:46:00):
I like you.
Speaker 2 (01:46:02):
I like it now. But yes, hopefully fingers crossed. Everything's fine.
They just I'm just born the way things have been
happening to me. If not, I'll become the new Iron.
Speaker 1 (01:46:16):
Mouse, become the new Iron Man.
Speaker 2 (01:46:20):
But hopefully streaming with my end because I'm streaming now
with the podcast that I will get back into it,
like actually properly, because I am dying to get back
into the streaming things. I miss it. I found out
I missed it after not.
Speaker 1 (01:46:35):
Doing it, like stream down my cry and stuff. Cool.
Speaker 2 (01:46:41):
I don't know. I well, I don't have any of
them yet, and I don't know which one to start with.
So maybe you can help me with that one. Yeah,
but that's I games like that. I don't know which
she wants to start with, because you know, like with Persona,
it doesn't matter what number it is.
Speaker 1 (01:46:55):
Its most games matter. Most games like basically unless they're
from I mean, I was gonna pay from Japan, but
the Cry. But like obviously j RPGs and stuff like
RPGs probably in general don't really matter. They all seem
to share the same thing, like part of Palancy, where
they don't follow from each other. I'd still probably say
(01:47:18):
play them in order, not necessarily a pint of Falancy
probably for like seven onwards, but like or maybe six onwards,
but like the others, yeah, like I mean that might
cry well, I mean the first one if you play
in chronological order of the events, the third one is
the first, but you're not going to play you'd have
to play the third, the first, the second, the fourth,
(01:47:38):
the fifth.
Speaker 2 (01:47:39):
It just seems weird, like, yeah, I remember, it's the
only after before I watched the DEVI anime. I know, Geezygo.
The only Devil May Cry game that I saw being
played was someone playing it. They came over my house
to the play games, but then they ended up just
playing del was just.
Speaker 1 (01:47:56):
Yeah, and that one isn't even part of the thing,
you say, the red.
Speaker 2 (01:48:01):
Coat always wearing a red coat.
Speaker 1 (01:48:04):
He's always wearing the red.
Speaker 2 (01:48:07):
Jumping around with a red coat. But I just something
popped in my head, Rescuer. I know you like the
color yellow, and you know you like cars that are yellow. Yes,
how do you feel that the yellow car in MF
Ghost is an Aldi R eight V ten.
Speaker 1 (01:48:30):
I love aldrs.
Speaker 3 (01:48:34):
I mean that's pretty cool. I'm not a big fan
of the l d R A.
Speaker 2 (01:48:38):
Well, it's the only yellow car in the series, so
it's you know, when you've got I'm afraid there's a
green car, but I can remember the makers. It's got
the three I think, what's the what's the car with
the badge where it's three prongs in a circle?
Speaker 3 (01:49:01):
Mercedes?
Speaker 1 (01:49:03):
Yeah, I'm not which one you there's I think there's more.
Speaker 2 (01:49:06):
Than there's a green Let me let me look up
the cars again. But there's one green one and there's
one blue one. But the blue one is I'm I'm
not sure about.
Speaker 1 (01:49:18):
It though.
Speaker 2 (01:49:21):
Hey, yes, and a French guy drives it to get here. Ah,
the ghost green car?
Speaker 1 (01:49:41):
Yeah, I was thinking a trident as well. Actually, that's
what when arrested. That's what I was thinking straight away.
But I don't know if he means that.
Speaker 3 (01:49:49):
With three prongs in it, that's that's Mercedes. But yeah,
I don't know, I got way, I got it completely wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:50:00):
Apparently. Wait, I can't be right. You website just crashed
on me. Yea, yeah, it's it's a Mercedes M A
M G G t R. I see, yes, I found
(01:50:20):
another one. But there's another green car that shows up,
and it's an Aston Martin.
Speaker 1 (01:50:28):
Is it as Martin Green though?
Speaker 3 (01:50:31):
Hm?
Speaker 2 (01:50:32):
Yes, driven by Emma Green.
Speaker 3 (01:50:37):
That's convenient, absolutely nice.
Speaker 2 (01:50:41):
She has a dark green car and it's yeah, it's
I was in the peerage. Yeah, but yeah, it's that's
gonna appear in the show.
Speaker 3 (01:50:50):
After the show.
Speaker 2 (01:50:53):
Wait, Jauar Jack, No, there is no I in Jaguar No.
I think that website gave me a virus.
Speaker 1 (01:51:05):
Oh well, oh well that sounds.
Speaker 2 (01:51:09):
I was on the coast to Wikipedia and it just crashed.
Speaker 1 (01:51:12):
Uh, presca what we'll even do recently? Anything interesting?
Speaker 3 (01:51:17):
Raising? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:51:18):
You want on racing today? I saw before we jopped,
before we made the podcast.
Speaker 3 (01:51:22):
I was I had to cram in some practice, right,
I'll say my justice schedule now because I have yet
to say this. I did have on my schedule to
Indy five hundreds on Saturday. Jesus. Yes, However, currently there
are zero Indy five hundreds happening on Saturday for me.
(01:51:44):
I will do the Sunday one. But on Saturday I
had a call from a certain ruby Nekomata who needed
a driver, so I will be She needed a co
driver for an endurance raced person. So that is a
real person.
Speaker 2 (01:52:02):
They're a cat. They're not real.
Speaker 3 (01:52:05):
Cats aren't real.
Speaker 2 (01:52:06):
No, not the what.
Speaker 3 (01:52:12):
Close your hair is like teal blue?
Speaker 2 (01:52:17):
Oh, I got the wrong person. Never mind, sorry.
Speaker 3 (01:52:20):
As yes, yeah, she's the Australian friend that no longer
lives in Australia. By the way, she now lives in Ireland.
Speaker 2 (01:52:29):
What a weed transition.
Speaker 3 (01:52:32):
Actually, okay, that makes much more sense. Actually moved back
all back Okay.
Speaker 2 (01:52:39):
I was just like, who would leave Australia for Ireland?
Speaker 3 (01:52:44):
I mean there are there are advantages to living in
compared to Australia.
Speaker 2 (01:52:48):
Depends on which side of Ireland because of the U
stuff is there.
Speaker 3 (01:52:53):
It is the Republic of Ireland, so that is the South.
It's the Republic of Ireland. Yeah, so the South it's
called the Republic of Ireland.
Speaker 2 (01:53:04):
Which is south of Island. The North of Island is
the one that's.
Speaker 3 (01:53:07):
Still there's Northern Ireland and North of Ireland, which is.
Speaker 2 (01:53:14):
It's the south.
Speaker 3 (01:53:17):
Yeah, but but there are parts of the Republic of Ireland.
They're more north than anywhere in Northern Ireland, which I
find exactly. So it's all dumb anyway. But anyway, all
of this is irrelevant because what I tried to say
is that I will be joining Ruby necka Mata in
(01:53:37):
the Samantha Tan Racing East sports car in the Majors
Endurance Championship race on Saturday at SPA, so no pressure,
but I'll be on like an actual Esports Teams roster
with Ruby. So I was crabbing in some practice and
(01:53:59):
trying to get my times down because I want to
do my very best in that race, to the point
where I am considering not streaming to be more focused,
like I might not stream of that. I think I will,
but i'm I might not, wait and I believe will.
Speaker 2 (01:54:18):
I'm confused, I might not.
Speaker 3 (01:54:20):
Ruby will be streaming anyway, either on her channel or
on the Samantha Tian Racing channel, and uh yeah, I
may probably stream, but I I want, I want to
really have a good go at that because that is
a huge, huge opportunity, I guess in a very good well.
Speaker 2 (01:54:44):
I have found something that because told about racing that
I posted in our Discordan didn't post in the right section. Uh,
the Formula Legends announcement trailer for PS five and PS
four game. I know of you guys saw that when
I passed.
Speaker 3 (01:54:59):
Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. We didn't put that
in the thread, did we. That is it's called Formula Legends.
It's like an arcade style racing game. I think, kind
of like Art of Rally if you've seen that that style,
or maybe cross that with Circus Superstars. But what it
is is is an arkad racing game. But all the
cars are like it's F one cars, right, but from
(01:55:20):
like every era, so they have like modern F one cars,
but then they have like really ancient F one cars
or like the seventies F one cars or whatever. But
it's an arkadecit game. But I think not like not
like kart racing level, but like it's not a sim
simulator either, right, it's in between and the cars are
kind of Chibby style if that makes any sense. So yeah,
(01:55:45):
and it was fun and cool. Obviously not licensed or anything.
It's you know, just generic F one ish cars that
look clearly like certain teams and cars of all of history.
But it looks fun, and yeah, if that's not like
a console and we can get it, maybe we should.
Speaker 1 (01:56:03):
Obviously with the older cars, I mean, are they going
to have like different stats because surely if you've got well, I.
Speaker 3 (01:56:11):
Think you're similar categories. Yeah, they only showed in the
trailer cars from the same period racing each other, so
maybe it's not even possible to mix some match, which
seems like you.
Speaker 1 (01:56:23):
Would have a huge disadvantage.
Speaker 3 (01:56:25):
But yeah, and they showed like DRS opening. I don't
know if they have like hybrid stuff as well, but
like it seems like stuff like that it's modeled. I imagine
like the massive turbos in those cars that had them
should be simulated to as they simulated, but like you know,
it would be a thing you have to think about
when driving it. So it seems like there's some level
of like, hey, you got all the features and aspects
(01:56:45):
of this Formula one car, even if he is you know,
turned into an arcade racer. If you ever played Circuit
Superstars or saw that. I've seen that once on the
West Channel like one hundred years ago. That's similar because
that's like a top down range, so right, But but
like all the cars behave like they should, because all
sorts of real racing cars and even have pit stops
(01:57:07):
and you know, you'd refill your fuel and you'd have
higher wear. It will be very simple. But like it's
it's quite good for an arcade game to have things
like that, you know, it's it's interesting cross of sim
and arcade. And maybe the formula what's it called formula
something for superstars not Superstars? Is it the one I
(01:57:28):
was Legends, Formula Legends, Formula Legends. Yes, so yeah, that
will be interesting when it comes out. I'm not sure
when it comes out, but I'll be looking out for that.
Speaker 1 (01:57:45):
Nice nice I was going to say, actually, just completely
off tangent and go nowhere near like what anyone's been
talking about today. I've actually been getting into reading again now,
like not wow.
Speaker 2 (01:58:02):
Excuse me, excuse me, I re novels.
Speaker 1 (01:58:09):
I've started to read because I've told you before, I've
got this massive Lord of the Rings.
Speaker 2 (01:58:14):
He's become a man.
Speaker 1 (01:58:17):
I was an old man.
Speaker 3 (01:58:18):
No, you just shared your read to.
Speaker 2 (01:58:25):
I had to because i'mated there's a prince.
Speaker 1 (01:58:28):
But anyway, anyway, Yeah, I've been reading The Lord of
Rings again, the whole collection with my massive book, and
it's so good man, and it's sort of inspired me
to read. Like I'm I really want to get into
like sort of not well, I'm sort of trying to
find originally the podcast of people either reading or doing
(01:58:51):
certain things, but I want to really get into like
these horror sort of books because I actually realized the
other day when I was just sort of skimming I
went to one of the local water stones and I
was looking at like, man, I really I really enjoy horror.
Like the thing I hate about horror is jump scares,
Like I just think it's just cheap and it's just annoying.
But like an idea, the idea of like horror and
(01:59:13):
the sort of the feeling you get when you read
or like watch a bit of horror that's actually good.
It's like so good that I'm just like, oh, man,
I really want to get into some but I just
obviously have no idea what to read. I have like
zero like where to even start. Like you know, do
you go to like what read like Dracula and Frankenstone,
which I've already done anyway, So it's like I don't
(01:59:36):
want to read those. They're really old as well, and
it's it's the point where they're so old that actually
the horror in it is just it's menial, like it's
not great. But I mean, I'm actually, I mean, I
don't know if either of you. You must have read
some of their stuff before. But Anthony Horowitz's stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:59:55):
Oh yeah, for sure, I liked obviously I liked Anix Schroder.
But also which I never finished, The storm Breaker.
Speaker 1 (02:00:05):
And the many other books.
Speaker 2 (02:00:07):
Well, I only watched the storm Breaker and then the
TV series Alex Ryder. Now apparently there's a good I
know it's Japanese and all that, but a good horror
books are done by jin Jin ging Ito Itoing. Yes,
(02:00:30):
he is the famous person with horror, and I do
still I've watched some of the shows.
Speaker 3 (02:00:35):
I wrote, what.
Speaker 1 (02:00:37):
What's the books?
Speaker 2 (02:00:39):
Well, books by him, he's done Frankenstein, he's done a
version of that Red anyway, sorry, he made in nineteen
nine nine.
Speaker 1 (02:00:52):
I can see what is it like?
Speaker 2 (02:00:55):
What I don't know? S T. E. I nd that's
still Stein in the literally I read it, but there's
like his story collections and stuff that I have, and
it's just like all these stories in like one book
and it's yeah, it is horror, and it's like that
kind of horror I do recommend.
Speaker 1 (02:01:16):
Yeah, I mean I know there's a lot too. I
mean the main reason I was saying aunt because I've
read a lot of horror itz books before I've read, like.
Speaker 3 (02:01:26):
I have to interrupt because I think ADAS thought you
were talking about horror books, which is why he I
know the guy's name is Anthony Horz. I just want
to that. I was a bit confused there, but I
thought you may have mentioned a horror book. But I
think that's I thought.
Speaker 2 (02:01:43):
He was mentioned he wanted to get into reading more horror.
Speaker 1 (02:01:47):
Yeah I did say that.
Speaker 2 (02:01:48):
Yeah, that's why he was going on.
Speaker 1 (02:01:53):
He thought I was saying I.
Speaker 3 (02:01:55):
Was a horror it. I was like, wait, is that
why this conversation have?
Speaker 2 (02:01:58):
No, I I wanted to mention that horror but and
all that, but also another horror is Tokyo Goo. That's
a good horror.
Speaker 1 (02:02:08):
No. No, I mean I think I will start horror.
It's just to start with because like I said, I
mean if Ada Rochol definitely read them. The House of
Silk and the Moriarty books that he's done, which obviously
Sherlock Holmes are fantastic, Like they're amazing. You should read those,
but like, yeah, I do need to get into reading
(02:02:30):
a bit more. And you know, like I do that
the idea of like on screen horror, Like I really
like old fashioned ones like I've watched like Friday the
Thirteenth and you know, like night Men, Elm Street in
the classics, and they're really good because they're actually that
they're horror and they're not like, oh, jump Scar, because
I don't think jump Scar is horror, like making someone
(02:02:51):
jump isn't That's not what horror is. Like it's when
you play like Dead by Daylight, for example, and you
know that part comes on it gets your adrenaline going,
and that that's horror. Like it's the idea of it,
not just And that's why I didn't play Unti Dawn
because I was just jump scared Galawn, Like it's just
that's not scary, that's just to the point where it's
(02:03:11):
annoying because it's just like I don't want to keep jumping,
Like what's the fun in just jumping or flinching all
the time. It's great. It doesn't make me think, oh,
I'm just scared. It makes me think that's a pain
in the ass. And that's why, you know, I want
just horror. There's some games that are fantastic for just
atual proper like old school Horror, which I like that
(02:03:32):
by Daylight is good in the aspect of the horror,
but it's you know, it's a bit silly. It's fun.
You know, it's not exactly like it's scary in anyway,
but it can be, you know, when you're on on
one with the killer or something, that can be quite
sort of you're a bit like shit, you know, by
myself last it is the last line defense something. But
but you know, I think that you know, getting I
(02:03:53):
want to just get more into it, get more into
reading anyway, and you know, the sort of see see
how it takes me.
Speaker 2 (02:03:59):
But like as you said, I read like horror stuff,
and I like horror shows and stuff. But guess what
scared me more than anything that I used to hype
behind the sofa or hide behind pillow anytime.
Speaker 1 (02:04:12):
Let me get let me, let me get mirror.
Speaker 2 (02:04:15):
Mm hmm, do you say the mirror?
Speaker 3 (02:04:20):
Yes I did.
Speaker 2 (02:04:21):
Yeah, I was just too great for any mirror. They
couldn't produce my shyness, shyness, shininess. No, it was the
skeletons from Paris the Caribe, your closet anytime they came
on as the skeleton version of themselves. Scariest thing. But
now I can watch horror.
Speaker 1 (02:04:45):
So back then we were like, you know, when that
film came out, it was.
Speaker 2 (02:04:52):
Yes, they are creepy. As an adult, they're creepy, but
as kids they were fine, like that whole Like liar
the lion on the two D lion on the the skateboard,
that's freaking terrifying. Look up the look up the lion
on your dreams, look up the lion Frompes and tell
(02:05:13):
me that is not creepy.
Speaker 3 (02:05:17):
Yeah, yeah, I remember this. If you google it, you'll
remember it. But it's such an obscure part of the
Teley tuppies, honestly. Yeah. The stupid thing is it's clearly
on wheels anyway.
Speaker 2 (02:05:36):
It's his face and his eyes the way he just.
Speaker 3 (02:05:41):
Like, well, oh no, the bear was worse.
Speaker 2 (02:05:47):
Oh yeah, the bear.
Speaker 3 (02:05:48):
Oh that was so creepy is actually awful. Imagine this
moving with its arms, right, what.
Speaker 1 (02:06:00):
Your kids show stuff? They're our context so.
Speaker 2 (02:06:01):
Creepy is they don't make them like?
Speaker 1 (02:06:06):
No, I do remember that bear. I actually I do
feel like I remember hating being afraid.
Speaker 3 (02:06:10):
Of that bet. It's coming out from behind the trees
in this shot that's uploading.
Speaker 2 (02:06:15):
Them, and they're hunting them. They're not friendly. They were
there to hunt the Talleytoby's.
Speaker 3 (02:06:21):
That's actually horrific.
Speaker 2 (02:06:24):
Riley, why are you why? What's the word postmaic stress?
Speaker 3 (02:06:30):
What are you doing?
Speaker 2 (02:06:32):
I don't have nightmarees of the bloody bear and the
lion from Talley Tubbys.
Speaker 3 (02:06:40):
What game is this? Gary is added the lion to
Garys and.
Speaker 1 (02:06:45):
I don't want any of those that will creep me out.
I don't want either of those because.
Speaker 2 (02:06:53):
I'm throwing rioty in front of that bear if I
see it in my dreams.
Speaker 1 (02:06:58):
Just weird. It's like, why you can show got some
weird creepy things like that, like and kids don't seem
the thing is creepy, And then everyone else is like, yeah,
this is incredibly creepy.
Speaker 2 (02:07:08):
Oh yeah no, now all it is now is baby
shark they like they basically what they I think with
our TV growing up, they kind of like I was
testing the waters of what they could get away with.
And now it's just all that same three D animation
all looks the same annoying song. They don't make them like.
Speaker 3 (02:07:33):
You kids mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (02:07:36):
On YouTube kids, Yeah like even that. The kids now
just watch normal YouTubers and grew up with them. With
they there's no need for TV kid TV shows anymore.
Speaker 1 (02:07:47):
They watched a lot.
Speaker 2 (02:07:50):
We are their favorites.
Speaker 3 (02:07:55):
That's the best influence.
Speaker 2 (02:07:59):
Getting them into dry. We've ruined the doomed this all you're.
Speaker 1 (02:08:06):
Killing the was and boring, I'm pretty sure. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:08:10):
From the extre ybrid cars on occasion, even electric sometimes yeah,
drive electric. No, there aren't enough electric race car.
Speaker 2 (02:08:19):
If I can't get an electric car, the car I'm
going to get, I'm going to rip the engine out
and replace it with an electric engine.
Speaker 3 (02:08:26):
You won't do that because you'll realize how expensive that
would be, I know, or just turn.
Speaker 2 (02:08:33):
My manual into an automatic.
Speaker 3 (02:08:38):
Just getting automatic and I was the car I want.
Speaker 2 (02:08:42):
It doesn't make an automatic. They do make an electric version.
Speaker 1 (02:08:46):
There's so many factors before you get this car. Like
you need to learn how to drivers like that.
Speaker 2 (02:08:52):
Before I know, I showed my grandparents my driving skills
on that g T a short of me and that
four by four unrest are losing himself. They can watch
it how I died across the road.
Speaker 1 (02:09:04):
It's not real though. I mean, you're going to try
real life.
Speaker 3 (02:09:06):
Are you know?
Speaker 2 (02:09:07):
But I just say I was just being funny, was like, oh,
this is my driving skill at the moment show if
you can't even watch it. I do want to practice
more simulation driving before I then want to drive. But
then it's just trying to find the right game.
Speaker 1 (02:09:24):
I just don't play any of them, to be honest,
Look look at how I turned out exactly.
Speaker 2 (02:09:31):
Dol and boring and covered in pitts.
Speaker 3 (02:09:34):
Those are three things that describe me.
Speaker 1 (02:09:35):
Yes, exactly.
Speaker 2 (02:09:38):
Perfect, perfect, perfect indeed, Well, I are.
Speaker 3 (02:09:48):
We ready to wrap up?
Speaker 2 (02:09:49):
I am like Sheldon.
Speaker 1 (02:09:52):
What.
Speaker 2 (02:09:53):
I'm smart and annoying and always right and humble, the
humble one. Sheldon's no, Sheldon's the autistic guy who is
always has to be right.
Speaker 1 (02:10:10):
But it sounds like you. I hate I honestly, like
I hate the bank very I can't stand it. It's
just not funny.
Speaker 2 (02:10:21):
I used to watch it all the time because I
could because I could see myself in at least at
least I could see least no, I could see my
part of me in each character because each character was
based off a particular type of person. But then I
would basically see myself in something from each because I
wasn't just the one person character wise, like I got
(02:10:44):
a bit of Sheldon, but then I've always got a
bit of Leonard.
Speaker 1 (02:10:46):
The way he give Sheldon's just like too it's just
too much.
Speaker 2 (02:10:51):
Is very autistic. I am partly autistic, okay, but I
mean he's just as a character.
Speaker 1 (02:10:57):
I think he's just too much, Like he's too.
Speaker 2 (02:10:59):
Much funny artistic person the way he is.
Speaker 1 (02:11:05):
Well maybe I don't know, but I mean I don't
know because I haven't done that. But like he should not.
Remember the show supposed to be a comedy. I just
don't find him funny.
Speaker 2 (02:11:14):
Oh, I agree with you on that there was some
funny moments, but it gets ruined when they do the.
Speaker 1 (02:11:21):
Well. I don't mind the can laughter because I love friends,
but like, I don't mind some of it is funny
because I'm not going to turn and go around none
of it's funny, and I'm just gonna be those people
that don't laugh because I don't like it, but like
it's not enough for a comedy, Like it is a
comedy at the end of the day, and it's just
a bit like I get to the point where I'm like, okay,
like I actually feel I mean that the can laughter
(02:11:43):
probably doesn't help, but it just it honestly feels like they're.
Speaker 2 (02:11:46):
Like, yeah, therefore ising it, but like there is some
funny stuff.
Speaker 1 (02:11:52):
When you don't if you don't know notice the can laughter,
which I don't even have friends because it is actually
generally for I find generally funny, Like I don't never
even notice laughter. I know a lot of people don't
watch it because of it, but it's like I don't
even notice in that. But in Big Bang Fair, really, I've.
Speaker 2 (02:12:11):
Seen friends so much throughout the years that the jokes
are don't hit as as they don't as they used
to when you've just constantly just always having on TV.
But yeah, it was kind of fun because it was
also showing how our lives are technically, like minus the
(02:12:35):
university stuff.
Speaker 1 (02:12:38):
They're really not though they're the whole.
Speaker 2 (02:12:40):
Comic con episode all that which is about comic con
and stuff, the doctor who references and all that.
Speaker 1 (02:12:47):
You know, it's it's more like us all though, really
like if you none of us are like them, like
to the point where you can relate to them, because
I even think they're like I mean, obviously they're incredibly
smart than us, for one, anyway, and it's just a
bit like that they're not they're nerds, but they're not.
It's not funny for I feel like anyone who's a
(02:13:09):
nerd it doesn't seem to like the show so obviously
doesn't really.
Speaker 3 (02:13:14):
Is a show that's written written by people who are
not and the intended audience, and the intended audience is
also not nerds. So yeah, whereas like let's say I
T Crowd for instance, I feel like that is yeah,
brilliant that is enjoyed by a lot of people. But
(02:13:35):
I feel like that the style of nerdy humor, let's say,
is kind of more like something that nerdy people would
actually annoy.
Speaker 1 (02:13:44):
I don't know exactly. This is just like almost like
a mainstream show that it's like, well, we've we've got
to have a synopsis or we've got to have like
ideas for these characters and you know, people laugh at
nerds like I'm not saying like you in a bad way,
like they're taking them piss whatever. But it's just a
bit like oh look, because I've had people like, oh,
you know, you guys must be like that sort of thing.
(02:14:04):
It's nothing, nothing like it at all, Like it's so
like over the It's one of these things again where
it's like over the top nerdy, like even THO when
they speak and that it's like really easily and like,
you know, just over the top, like it's not they don't.
I mean, I guess actually the guy who plays Shun
does sound like the guy, but he sounds similar to him,
and i've heard him what's his name, Jim's the passing
(02:14:27):
But like it's just so but it's so I don't know,
it's so forced again and I just I understand why
people like it. I generally don't hate the show, Like
I just don't find it funny. It's like something fact
I can never change my opinion on.
Speaker 2 (02:14:43):
Me when I like first came out and or watched
a bit of the reruns and stuff, like I enjoyed
it here and there, but now yeah, I won't watch
it but like, yeah, it was just something to watch
and it was yea had its moments. There's shows like
that that do have their moments where it's like good
in some aspects and all that, but yeah, it was
just mainly just showing, yeah, just the nerdy life. I
(02:15:04):
guess in more.
Speaker 1 (02:15:05):
Way, it was better when they had the serious moments
in that show, like when they actually had like character
development and stuff, I was like, Okay, I can get
behind this a bit, like there's actually a serious plot
point going on, which is much better than the stupid
comedy that isn't actually stupid and isn't funny. You know,
it's just there's some good fit. There's actually good stuff
(02:15:26):
in that show. It's just they've got just unlikable characters,
which I definitely am on the minority because people love
the characters, but I really just don't. There's not a
character there of any of them that I think I
can one relate to or to even think anything about them.
I actually watched Carl lobbing though theory, like against my will,
(02:15:47):
and it's just like it's.
Speaker 2 (02:15:49):
The same person that watches Friends a lot.
Speaker 1 (02:15:54):
Yeah, but it's like I watch Friends, like I know, but.
Speaker 2 (02:15:58):
They they they obsessed with Friends to the point where
they are friends.
Speaker 1 (02:16:04):
Friends is though, like I would say, is the best
sitcom you're ever going to get. But that would definitely
be people definitely agree with that because there is a lot.
Speaker 2 (02:16:13):
Of I think Friends only got like its fame after
it was broadcast, became more like other generations than what
it was.
Speaker 3 (02:16:25):
It was obviously popular, it was a successful show already, right,
but the sort of modern day like last ten years,
I mean it's faded off a bit now, but like
ten years ago, let's say, it was like blowing up
a bit more, right, resurgence for whatever.
Speaker 1 (02:16:38):
Yeah, the younger generation basically get into it. But but yeah,
no it has Yeah, that that did have a big thing,
which you know, it's quite cool when obviously I mean
I watched the last episode at least last I'm thear ing,
and that just four Like that's just insane, Like certainly
people would have been live, which is mental. But you know,
(02:17:01):
it's like it's such a classic, and I I still
do find it, like, even though I know what's going
to happen, of course I've seen it multiple times, I
do still find it quite funny, and I do still
find bits that like I'm like, oh, actually I didn't
realize that the first or like first few times I
watched it, like this joke or you know there's a subtle.
Speaker 2 (02:17:20):
Like we actually get now when we did when we
first watch it.
Speaker 1 (02:17:25):
Well, yeah, the kids or what they were young, a
lot of younger.
Speaker 2 (02:17:28):
My favorite character is still Chandler.
Speaker 1 (02:17:34):
Matthew Perry recipes. But you know it's like I do miss, Yeah,
channel's a fantastic character. Like to actually make a character
that is it is it incredible? But they are you know,
it does have its flaws like everything else of course laws,
but yeah, I do, I do miss. I missed the
idea of a good sitcom though, like a really like
(02:17:57):
nothing hit is ever hit like that for me since friends,
Like I mean even if I loved The Going Through You,
that that one ages ago, you know, years ago, that finished,
so it's like there's nothing.
Speaker 2 (02:18:06):
Like that anymore, like a new one now of anything.
Speaker 1 (02:18:11):
No, no, not really, I mean I can't I don't know.
I mean I don't really follow everything, but I can't
think of it into my head. That's like it. I mean,
Modern Family is quite good. If you've ever watched that,
well that's that's quite.
Speaker 2 (02:18:22):
Funny not going out my favorite.
Speaker 3 (02:18:26):
That's kind of dead there.
Speaker 1 (02:18:29):
Series.
Speaker 2 (02:18:31):
I don't know, Yeah, where he's you know, where he's
married and everything in the house.
Speaker 3 (02:18:35):
I thought that will ended.
Speaker 2 (02:18:36):
No, still going he's just he's just recording The One
Percent Club, which I watched, me and my whole family
watch and play along.
Speaker 3 (02:18:44):
I've gotten all the way before, he's all the way everything.
Speaker 2 (02:18:49):
It was very it was a very hard, very hard questions.
Speaker 1 (02:18:52):
It was I've done that, I've just call it. Watch
that a few times. They're not I don't even that
hard questions as.
Speaker 2 (02:19:04):
As like they look easy on paper, but then when
you try to do it, you can get them wrong
quite easily.
Speaker 1 (02:19:10):
It's a lot of wordplay. But the problem I have,
but it's actually not they're not logic. They're more like, oh,
you know, I don't know if you've seen it, resk
of it. It's like basically it's a quick show where
you like literally goes to one percent. So the last
question is like one percent of people that they basically
(02:19:32):
asked this question.
Speaker 3 (02:19:34):
It's pointless. No, No, it sounds remarkably because.
Speaker 1 (02:19:39):
Start off, it starts off on it's nothing like it.
It's fine, don't worry but anyway, like what I was
going to say is it's like, yeah, the questions are
a bit like strange that they're like they're not they're
logic thinking like in a way like of not like
a general no question. I'm trying to think a good example.
(02:20:02):
But it's basically like wordplaye away like it's oh I
saw the other day. It basically although the answer was
in the question if you see what I mean, So
it was like the word was actually there. It's like,
what do you get when you take this over?
Speaker 3 (02:20:17):
Then?
Speaker 1 (02:20:17):
Blah blah blah blah. I was like, wholesome was the answer.
But it was like when you take away whole you
get when you dig a hole, you know, it's like
stuff like that, And the answer was wholesome. It's like
almost like a riddles. It's just that sort of mentality
which I don't really like, and I don't really think
it takes much to sort of like not I guess
(02:20:38):
I guess it is brain power, but I don't know.
Speaker 2 (02:20:40):
That is what Your mum calls you in for dinner
on a Monday at eight pm. For the rest of
the week, she calls you in half an hour earlier
each day on Saturday night, the clocks go back an hour.
What time does she call you in for dinner on Sunday?
Speaker 3 (02:20:57):
Well, it could be any fucking time.
Speaker 1 (02:21:01):
And didn't you hear a question? But I'm just going
to say it was the time that he originally was.
I don't know you.
Speaker 2 (02:21:07):
I've got the question, but I don't actually have the answer.
I find the answer, but.
Speaker 1 (02:21:17):
I'll tell you. We'll maybe laugh. Right, there was one,
so the ninety percent is like ninety percent people obviously
got to right. So in other words, easy as hell.
And there was a thing saying what it was two
pictures and it said what word did you get adding
these pictures together? Basically? And there was a dog and
it was a thermometer. Now, what would you like? A
(02:21:37):
farm to? Showing it was like quite high? What would
you say? Was the answer to that? So farm to first?
Then a dog? What would you say?
Speaker 3 (02:21:45):
A hot dog?
Speaker 1 (02:21:46):
Exactly? Do you know? About fifteen people went out on
that question and they were like they each dog the
true dog. Oh yeah, because this is ridiculous. Honestly, it
(02:22:08):
is so stupid. I just found it so hilarious. And
if you were like, yes, I didn't know an idea
and it's like, why do you on this show man?
Why are you hearing?
Speaker 2 (02:22:22):
This is when like the answer before you're really answered
that all the lights go off of people who got
it wrong.
Speaker 1 (02:22:28):
Yeah, it really embarrasses you basically like shows who got
it wrong and it's like all these people stupid faces.
It was so funny, I mean something, and Lee Mac
is actually quite good.
Speaker 3 (02:22:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:22:40):
I like Mac because he's so quick with like one
liner like jokes.
Speaker 1 (02:22:45):
It's it's post watershed as well, so of course you can't.
You can be a bit more, you know, like loose
to what you say, which is nice as well actually
because you can be a bit more. Like he's making
all these like sexual jokes and stuff, and it's like, yeah,
it's funny actually for a quiz show. It's just weird
to see, but it's also quite funny. But yeah, no, no,
(02:23:06):
that's just what I came all we were talking about.
We started the same just off the blue.
Speaker 3 (02:23:13):
Yeah that was that was a tangent in itself.
Speaker 1 (02:23:16):
Yeah, I don't definitely don't remember now, so but yeah,
I guess so well, I mean we should probably wrap
it up really because we are sort of probably a
good time. Yeah, it's a good time to good time
to call it. When we do our twenty four hour
(02:23:38):
race Slash podcast, we will do it race cast race cast, Yes.
Speaker 2 (02:23:44):
Exactly, got anyone to raid on his end?
Speaker 3 (02:23:48):
I do have someone I'd like to raid actually me.
It is racing Betuber egg.
Speaker 2 (02:23:58):
But egg met Are they an egg?
Speaker 3 (02:24:03):
No, but I'm going to assume they are an omelet.
But anyway, they are not racing right now that it's
an art stream. But specifically they are three D modeling,
some racing shifter all things. But they shift field music
and while they while they model and chat, so that
(02:24:23):
sounds good.
Speaker 2 (02:24:25):
Yeah, oh god, rest you send me the name. I'm
just staring at this bear. Oh my god, there is
no there's no escape from the bear.
Speaker 1 (02:24:38):
But I have seen.
Speaker 3 (02:24:40):
Obviously I have seen like you know, lifts wheelbase model
he has that was obviously a Mets work as well.
Speaker 2 (02:24:47):
Sometimes ago, I'm going to post the bear in the wads.
There are just a scare everyone.
Speaker 3 (02:24:53):
Are you initiating the race now?
Speaker 1 (02:24:55):
Uh? Oh?
Speaker 2 (02:24:58):
For Frick's sake, because I covered the freak picture, the
name's gone.
Speaker 1 (02:25:01):
Hang on.
Speaker 2 (02:25:04):
I copied the name and didn't realize after copying the
picture the name will disappear.
Speaker 3 (02:25:09):
But yes, you can enable clipboard history in the way.
Speaker 2 (02:25:13):
I've initiated the raid August. Yes, it's a WAZZ raid
because it's all of us and it's a WAZ Wednesday.
I hope you enjoyed our latest podcast and we will
be back with some more streams hopefully I will soon,
probably tomorrow or the day after. Hopefully. I need to
pick a game. Well, Risker's got some racing I think
(02:25:34):
on his schedule.
Speaker 3 (02:25:35):
Yeah right, I'm racing on Friday, IndyCar Night, which I
hopefully won't cancel in favor of practice for Saturday, and
after that the big Racel Saturday, which again I might.
Speaker 1 (02:25:46):
My stream.
Speaker 3 (02:25:48):
Good schedule so far I think I will. It'll be fine.
So yeah, that's eight hours of spar As Ruby for
Samantha Tan racing Big Day, and then on Sunday I
do do a fixed Indy five hundred followed by virtual
oval out to Kansas.
Speaker 1 (02:26:01):
So what do you we can use?
Speaker 2 (02:26:05):
Yes, I will drag guy to one of the streams
to try and gain streaming. Uh show Chelly who
Speaker 1 (02:26:14):
Vallaball
