Speaker 1 (01:15):
I I I h.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
M hm, we are live. Welcome to another podcast, episode
five of Taki Toasta Tray Club. Who wants a soda?
Who wants a soda? I don't know that's who we are. Indeed,
(07:24):
we are my other piece, your piecing like you here,
you're one piece, so regular I'm gonna start reading the
One Piece. Thanks for reminding me.
Speaker 3 (07:34):
Really, yes, this is now an impromptu topic.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
I am.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
I am tempted to watch One Piece.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Live action or the anime regularly.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Live action doesn't cover everything.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
No, but I do recommend the live action one as well.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
Over the animated one.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
I've only seen the live action one, but I do
say it is a good live action of an animal
fair and it is quite popular. And they've just finished
season two, like film, Can.
Speaker 1 (08:11):
We just go back to why rescortants watching the first
Why do you want to go.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Oh yea, Why do you suddenly want to bring out
what is it? Because of the trip?
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Well, liv has talked to me a bunch about One Piece,
But the more I hear, like, I mean, I watched
One Piece film read a couple of years ago, right,
and that was like really good on its own, right,
I really enjoyed it, and just the more I hear
about One Piece and the way the story progresses, and
like how it's getting like so like crazy towards the
(08:43):
end now because they are really near the end now,
it's like, damn, this kind of sounds like actually really cool.
Speaker 2 (08:51):
They've done another thing where it's like the season splits
off and they've done something else as well. That's what's
on the Netflix one. But saying that, do you know
where you can watch the One Piece anime? Which surprised
me as well? Where BBC I Player?
Speaker 3 (09:10):
Oh really, yep? I mean I won't be watching it there.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
Yeah. The box set for the manga one to twenty
three volumes was on sale, so I picked I purchased it.
I've got what's the word? I got print number forty seven,
so it's the forty No, hope, thanks touch Wood. It's
(09:38):
not yeah to thank thanks, thank It's not yeah. Because
their paper quality is bad.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Why do you hate having print? What have you got
against Italian print?
Speaker 2 (09:51):
Because the Italian print? Because in manga, the Italian print
is like thinner paper and it's very horrible quality. And
when you have them all, like with the non Italian print,
they're smaller books as well, so it doesn't look right
when it's on the shelf as well. That's another reason,
but most most of my because obviously be after COVID,
(10:13):
they obviously used a lot of like cheaper ways to
try and bring more out. So a lot of my
reprints series that I missed out on our Italian print,
but then I try to find some that aren't. So
I go through and open the book and look at
exactly what print it is first before buying it. But yes,
(10:35):
what topics shall we go today? First?
Speaker 3 (10:40):
Start with guys, idea, we really have to do that.
Speaker 2 (10:46):
I have nothing in my bro I don't know what
it is yet.
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Okay, hold on, what are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (10:53):
You that?
Speaker 2 (10:58):
I know?
Speaker 1 (10:58):
No question?
Speaker 3 (11:01):
I either issue with it. I'll do it.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
We haven't literally have no idea what I came in?
What you put?
Speaker 3 (11:10):
Yeah? Okay, try again?
Speaker 1 (11:15):
Clear for a bit.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Regularly thinking of doing something different. Let me know what
you guys think. We do a little segment where we
pick a year at random and come up with our
three favorite forms of media from that year. An example
is like a favorite song moving game from two thousand
and eight nineteen five, Well, anything my favorite song from
(11:44):
nineteen eighty five is nineteen the song.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
The one thing I thought back to the future and
you guys didn't get.
Speaker 3 (11:58):
That reference, No, you can, You said five.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Nine, Yeah, but ninety five was back where Back to
the Future was set.
Speaker 1 (12:08):
Yeah, but we were thinking of the song.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
Yeah, but that's why I jokingly said it was from
nineteen eighty five, which obviously is not true.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
We did just all its exactly sad carry on.
Speaker 3 (12:26):
So do I want to like google random year picker
or something.
Speaker 4 (12:30):
Either that, or if you've got people live in the chat,
because you know, someone could pick if Riley, if you're there,
could pick out a year, maybe we could. I mean,
I guess the thing is it's going to be we'll
have to look up unless we just know off by hand,
like what year is something?
Speaker 1 (12:45):
The least because I.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Remembering exactly.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
You can just think what you enjoyed in that year. Though,
That's what I was saying to the other day. It
wasn't it.
Speaker 2 (12:56):
Like oh yeah, yeah, But then I have to work
out what was what I.
Speaker 1 (12:59):
Was a.
Speaker 3 (13:03):
Lot, I'm a random year generator, and I said it
from from twenty to twenty twenty five, which I feel
like is reasonable. Like before two thousand, probably a bit tough,
but there's like related tools like random Pokemon type generator,
Xbox Gameta generator, Elf name generator. Might need that name
(13:28):
generator you have, I have. I have ten elf names
right here for you. Are you ready, right, Gormer, Raylan,
We're on Leolin, Glen, dwell, Elmyre, Rava, marsh Lesleo, Lamin, Siler,
(13:49):
Chayhorn guitar.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
Literally for that, you've got to go for that.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Well, Dana that sounds like Japanese, but not right in
that way. Calaurel luro and axuya crazy that sounds like
a girl related to us on this l O tr
name generator.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Is anyway a year.
Speaker 3 (14:20):
Okay, I do do this generator?
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Oh I hate that year. I don't pick that one.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Alright, the first one. See Okay, I'm going to change
this because it generated fifteen years and so it's come
with every year of the almost every year of what okay,
two thousand and seven, Okay, okay, I know what I'm
going to say.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
For a game.
Speaker 4 (14:44):
Into that, why I think, but well, why do we
try you? Because we give bad a little bit of
time to see it. Definitely take weill and I'm To
be honest, I can't really think of much about the
game on top of my head.
Speaker 3 (14:56):
Game is the easiest one of the they say it
you will number one. Realize why I would know it
a number to be annoyed that you didn't say it first,
probably because I'm going to say Little Busters seven, Yeah,
absolutely are playing.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Well, No, it doesn't. It doesn't really need to be
playing it because if if it was ninety eighty five,
you were watching the future?
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Are you No?
Speaker 2 (15:25):
That was a joke, But like I thought, we had
to pick what we were doing exactly in that year,
release that year.
Speaker 3 (15:33):
No, but what what I mean that rose If you're
having real trouble figuring out something that actually came in
that year, I'm sure we can accept something you were
doing in that year, because I mean, who cares?
Speaker 1 (15:46):
True?
Speaker 4 (15:48):
But we are, you know, I mean the release is
what we're actually aiming for, is the release of you know,
being released in that year, because I'm not just leaves
you open to a lot of other things.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
But go on.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
It's a Little Busters if you don't know, is a
visual novel developed by released in July twenty seven, two
thousand and seven. I am actually looking this up now
I don't know that. I know Clanet is April twenty eight,
two thousand and four, because it shares my birthday. I know, Adaro,
it was not it's talk about planet.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
I was just throwing out there because some of them were.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Low Busters is not originally porn.
Speaker 2 (16:32):
I just said, hey, so you went with the harp.
Speaker 3 (16:36):
Yeah wow, yeah, translated for people who might be normal.
But no, yeah, it's a visual novel and it's a
very emotional. If you have heard of such anime as
Clanet or Angel Beads, those were the too much popular ones.
Low Busters is by the same people. Oh yeah, it
(16:58):
came out in two thousand and seven, as would be
like for me, like the most I don't know, emotionally
impactful piece of media I have consumed. No, yeah, Little Busters.
Now I have to trouble for the other two things.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Can I say I say something that came out in
two thousand and seven that I really liked and you
guys memed about it all the time. Sure, Bamboo Blade nice, Yes,
one of the animals I watched. I loved it, and
you guys meaned about it. But I just girl A
Gang came out then as well.
Speaker 3 (17:35):
I was gonna say two thousand and seven. Wait, can
I say Clane it for this as well?
Speaker 2 (17:43):
I see.
Speaker 1 (17:46):
What?
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Yeah, okay, so my my TV show of two thousand
and seven, Clanet from the creators of such things as
Little Busters, Way the Way, the Cough Hour. Oh well
I could have I could say Lucky Star, Yeah that
(18:08):
was it. Yeah, the Lucky Stars two thousand and seven. Yeah,
you could say luck a Star as well. You know
that's not one of my absolute favorites, but that's relevant
and could movie though movie I'm gonna say, Rasha, I'm
gonna come us A seven My god, I think yeah,
I was trying to think of that. Cars of two
(18:29):
thousand and six, I think rety to two thousand and seven,
and I actually love I don't talk about that enough,
but I've seen that. But after your Name and wait, well,
so I oh and Disappearance of Harry Susimir, I think
Ratatu is probably my third most watched movie, So that's notable.
(18:49):
I love It's really fun, and weirdly, the weird thing
with the Rattatu is that actually talking about whether we
watched it in that year or not. I think I
didn't go and see Ratitum. I thought it looked rubbish
and then ever one, Yeah, I didn't want to go,
I have no interest, And then I ended up watching
it years later and I really liked it, and yeah,
it's one of my favorite Pixar films still. And I
(19:11):
had the PSP game, which is actually pretty good, and.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
It came out like PS three Stuffternoon.
Speaker 3 (19:18):
Probably Okay, it's like one of the last sort of
of those you know those days where like you see
an advert for a movie game on TV and at
the end of the advert they'd have like displayed out
image of like five hundred different consoles. It was like
one of the last of that period, I feel, because
I feel it helps when PS three sort of came properly.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
In apparently the first iPhone came out in two thousand
and seven as well.
Speaker 3 (19:44):
Indeed it did.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
God, I feel I had with brick one that was
called a three G iPhone three G.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
That was the second iPhone.
Speaker 2 (19:55):
Yes, that's what I remember. The most super bad Transformers, don't.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
You don't need to go through the film I'm.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Reading the ones I've watched. Paris Caribbean War than.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
Man three would actually be my film that i'd picked
for you. What film he's got Bully McGuire and we
all just appreciate Bully maguire, please.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Billy legend.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Bully. I thought.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
I thought he was name was Toby it is?
Speaker 1 (20:33):
Yeah, it's not, is it?
Speaker 2 (20:36):
Because he's like because he's.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
He must have seen the where he's just doing the dancing.
Speaker 1 (20:43):
Is that that's Bully maguire?
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Okay, I know that one's meaning the best dancing.
Speaker 1 (20:52):
You know where he goes said the stuff like gonna
get you and all that stuff.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Surely you've heard a guy quote that like one hand
times years ago.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
Every day this movie, now, do you remember?
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Well?
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Probably guy, I probably watched it, the epic movie.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
You know what's funny. I thought about this recently because
during the Maria corporate retreat in Toronto, we randomly watched
scary movie, which that was funny, But I if weirdly,
I never watched any of the scary movies or anything
of those. But I did watch epic movie in the cinema.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
Even it was the well it was the main story
was it was a Narnia parody.
Speaker 3 (21:50):
Yeah, I think they'd sort of run out of steam
with that style, I guess at that point.
Speaker 4 (21:56):
But then movies like what arguably one of the best ones.
I think, oh, that's hilarious, that's for good. It's got
so many just like ridiculous things in it, Like they're
not ridiculous in the point where it's unfunny and it's
just you know, it's too much.
Speaker 1 (22:11):
It's just generally like laugh out loud it.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
I don't think they'll be able to make it this year.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
I just, by the way, can I just say that
you're forgetting arguably one of the biggest games of the
year and one of like what what pushed forward modern
day gaming, and that is Nope, because I think Layer
it is modern Wolf.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Four Cod four, which is so weird to say, because what.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
A game, like, honestly, what an absolute classic. I mean,
I remember just playing it when I first got my What.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Did I first remember?
Speaker 4 (22:52):
I think I had get Xbox or sixty players actually,
and then I saw it, But I remember playing that
obviously being too young.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Player's so good, so good.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
They're so different than any other card as well. It's
just of the time. You know, it's before the crap
that we've got in it.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Now, in the glory days.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
But that means you can blame Cod four for the
crap we have now.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
True, but there was some good games.
Speaker 2 (23:19):
You don't want to blame the game that came out
in two thousand and seven. B Movie game, you don't
want to blame that.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
I mean, we can blame that for a lot of things.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
We did a film come that is generally a funny film.
Speaker 2 (23:38):
The game came out in two thousand and seven, and surely.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
The UK release for B Movie was fourteenth of December
two thousand and seven, which is real.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
We go for we go for the UK release and stuff.
But yeah, that's I mean, that's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
Guitar Hero three came out. Oh game, I don't know
if it was the third one. I think was the
third one that I played on the Wii put we remote. God,
I love that, but.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
Like the yeah I love I mean, whenever we go
out and we go to arcade bars, it's like.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
Oh, yeah, thank you. Ever once you did, didn't you?
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Guy?
Speaker 4 (24:22):
I think I did play on Yeah, but there's there's
always just people playing even.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Remember, yeah, we were.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
Laughing, you mean laughing, we will laugh you were laughing
when you were playing?
Speaker 3 (24:37):
Are we laughing at you?
Speaker 2 (24:41):
Next topic?
Speaker 3 (24:46):
Yeah, did you do the things you wanted? To say
on that.
Speaker 4 (24:51):
From you, honestly, No, Well, I mean I guess I
can actually looking up which I can't seem to find
anything that I can finger on top of my head.
You film wise, I don't really I mean generally B
movie might actually be a good shout and not Gona lie.
I can't really think of anything else that came around
in that year.
Speaker 1 (25:06):
For some reason, it's t thousand and seven.
Speaker 4 (25:10):
It's like that weird time though chausand and seven where
it's like the coming of age year, or like maybe
just before the coming age year. It just feels a
bit sort of like that between I mean, we were starting,
like you know, we're going into like a different school
and everything, and it's all a bit different. But I
don't know, I don't really sure. I'm not really sure
(25:33):
of anything else. I mean I can look it up,
but I don't know. I think I'll stay with and
actually I will say Katira because Katiro changed my life,
like for the fan that sounds really bad, but like
for the fact that, like my music taste is completely
because of Katira, which which is insane, like a game
having that much power over like simply what you listen to,
(25:56):
you know, and it's all I'm trying to think of
songs from it, but like there's so many absolute classics
in it which I.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Would have never heard otherwise. So I think is a
pretty strong choice.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
And I think I've actually basically picked two of the
biggest pioneers in gaming. So I think I'll stay with
it and b Moe it's a good shilm.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
You like, we can't mention being movie and not talk
about the dream sequence, which is just.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
I can't even go about that. I forgot about them entirely,
it being like one of the only people that was laughing.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
I think I remember talking. Yeah, so there's a dream seat.
I'm gonna just say because there's a dream sequence in
B movie, but it's not it's not obviously a dream
sequence at the start, I don't think I can't remember anyway,
he's like imagining like being on a date with the
female protagonist, which is I mean, yeah, but anyway, like
a picnic or something. And but then it like cuts
(27:05):
to like he's flying along and she's flying along next
to him in like a biplane. So the big guy
he does like a loopy loop right and then and
then she goes Barry Benson, thank you. And then she
she follows and does like a loopy loop in a biplane.
But as it completes the loop, a mountain comes into
(27:27):
view and she smashes into a fiery explosion. It's so
sudden from what is going on, this lovely little date
dream sequence, and then and then he wakes up because
it's a dream exactly. It is so unexpected and so
anything else in that movie. And I think, Guy, I
(27:49):
don't think I talked too much when that movie was
a thing, but I think I remember talking to you
years later about how you burst out laughing over the
only People. But then I think my experience was the
saying when that happened, it's a sort of humor that
we like, isn't it? Love It absolutely out there. I
think I just burst laughing watching it the first time
because it's so expected.
Speaker 1 (28:10):
It's just random, like there's no lead up to at all.
Suddenly like actually dies. It's like, it's pretty horrific.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
I've also found a blasphem the past that was always
playing when people the Gummy Bears song came out two
thousand and seven.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
Oh God, I am a guy.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
There, I am a god.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
The right time to move on, I don't remember that song.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Yummy yummy.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
Next topic is also from guy Sure. It says, everyone,
what do you think.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Read reading asking for.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
Scenes?
Speaker 3 (29:04):
It's a good idea, Guy, I think we should tell
you do it on the five of the podcast. Thank you, Thanks,
where you go? Also from guys Sure, I mean, I
got to say he has been carrying the topics. I'm
going to zoom in on this screenshot trying to figure
(29:24):
out what you were listening.
Speaker 4 (29:26):
I don't know what I know idea.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
A female with a purple outfit?
Speaker 1 (29:32):
A female?
Speaker 3 (29:33):
Do you? I mean, you can look at the screen
shirt yourself. But anyway, that's not all the focus of
the screenshots. The focus of the screenshot is that myself
and guys Sure have reached a one hundred day friends streak,
O duo lingo.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
Learning.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
We are both learning German.
Speaker 1 (29:57):
Yeah, wow, you look? Why not?
Speaker 3 (30:03):
I want to tell you what. What's annoying though, is
that I have watched a little bit of anime recently,
by which I mean two episodes the other day. Why
is that YouTube post coming through that's not meant to
happen during a shared chat? That happened?
Speaker 2 (30:24):
You get your plug?
Speaker 3 (30:25):
Okay, no, genuinely that is set to turn off in
a shared chat situation, and that has always been the case.
But it has its broken that's interesting. Anyway, it's clearly
working because it posted it, but then it did not
post it. But anyway, Yeah, I watched a couple of
(30:45):
episodes of anime recently in Japanese and the amount of
because I did for a brief period try and learn Japanese.
But the way I realized I still pick out like
a whole bunch of of words and and and just
things for from that. Not that I really know Japanese,
but like what I mean is like I pick out
more from that still than I probably do with German,
(31:09):
despite the fact that I have seven hundred in well,
I haven't done today yet, but it will be a
seven eighty day streak.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
That's a lot. That's hell.
Speaker 3 (31:22):
I was watching as dandar down. I was watching and
I noticed how the subtitles had localized the way they
were talking, because there was there's a line where like
the Turbo Granny in that she's she's saying, yeah, I know,
currently they're looking for his balls which she lost. Yeah. Yeah, Anyway,
(31:46):
there's like as a conversation between the Turbo granny and
the female protagonist, where I heard the female protagonists say
Maggie respecto right, and then but the translation of what
the granny responds with is like, oh, you should you
should use proper you should speak properly, not use slang,
(32:09):
because I think the slang was like mad respect right,
And the translation from the granny's response was, oh, you
should shouldn't use slang like that. However, obviously in Japanese
she used an English word respecto, right. But then the
granny's actual dialogue in Japanese uses the word ago for English.
So in the real, in the actual like I could
(32:33):
somehow I could tell enough that she's talking about how
she used English and how the translation localized it by saying, oh,
it's you're using slang. Obviously they're all they're all using English.
It's like, I don't think I could have that watching
a German subtitled thing, And honestly, it probably means I
should like do something other than do a lingo to learn,
(32:55):
because probably eight days and not being able to pick
out things like that, it's probably.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
Bad saying you're watching the Japanese version, you're going to
miss quite a bit of the added English humor and
jokes and stuff that they added with the dub.
Speaker 3 (33:13):
I mean, okay, but I can only watch one version.
Speaker 2 (33:16):
Exactly do you watch two? They've got both one.
Speaker 3 (33:19):
I'm not watching it again. I mean maybe I will,
but not before.
Speaker 1 (33:25):
Oh yeah, I would tell you that. Yeah, it is.
Speaker 4 (33:29):
It is weird language because I'm actually quite similar with Spanish,
Like I know, I learned that in school and some
reason I can pick out a lot more.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
Spanish than I German. I mean I probably hear.
Speaker 4 (33:42):
Spanish bit more, to be honest, because you don't really
actually hear German very much like in any media or anything.
You know, Spanish is quite popular because of America. But yeah,
it's strange. It's strange though when when I do lingo though,
and I'm literally not even looking down at the screen.
(34:02):
I'm sort of maybe stoning space, having coffee whatever, whenever
you're doing it, and I'll be listening, but I already
know what it is, and I'm just like, but then
I'm also in mind, like how does my mind know
how to basically translate this for me? Like it just
then makes me have like this existential sort of crisis
of like language, Like how weird, is it?
Speaker 1 (34:22):
You know, like what do people think? What language people thinking?
And it's all like, oh my god, I just say
I asked somebody funny enough to day, who's Polish? I said,
I asked him what language do you think in? And
he's like, I don't know.
Speaker 4 (34:35):
I'm like, how do you not know what language you thinking?
Like you speak both fluently, But he's like, I don't know.
I guess I just I just know what I'm saying.
And I'm like that just makes me even more confused.
But I just don't get it. It's such a weird concept.
Speaker 3 (34:50):
But yeah, good people who actually fluent into language that
they don't think about, Like it's not like you translate
one to the other. You just know, you just know,
and you do it in multiple languages, and has always
been bizarre to me as someone who cannot do that at.
Speaker 1 (35:06):
All, very impressive.
Speaker 4 (35:08):
I've always been very much jealous people are fluent in
more than one language, because it.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
Would be so cool.
Speaker 4 (35:15):
Yeah, it would just be so so good to like know,
you know, to be able to talk, especially especially English.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Isn't your first language. English is impressive, you know, but
very useful.
Speaker 2 (35:29):
One day I just won the language topic. Recently, I've
been watching I've been watching a live stream of Sea
Dog where he's in Wales at the moment, and he
brought people you don't you don't need explain this before. Yes,
(35:50):
they're in Wales. Like every time like they need to
say it or excuse me or something, they always say that.
They always Pie's always caught out saying Simo sen and
adegatto and all that when like he's speaking to English
people or Welsh people. It's quite funny. Kind then kind
(36:12):
of just switches between English and Welsh because like there's
surprisingly everywhere they went every most people were speaking Welsh
and there was like Welsh written everywhere and like to
the cap. So yeah, it was quite funny how like
Connor would like go from English to Welsh and then
(36:32):
some Japanese sometimes and then like Pet's just there and
like some of the other crew as well, like you
could if they bump into like Ohm said, because they
they're in Japanese mode because obviously, like they had to be,
you have to. It's the constant words you had to
use in Japan. So I guess it's quite daunting when
you come.
Speaker 1 (36:48):
Back to an Are you sure? Though? It was just
a week.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
No, it's because they live in Japan, and I think
Pete's nearly got residence residency, residency. And I've also learned
as well that Caraman Paul is older than I thought
he was, and he did a lot more than I thought,
so that was an interesting.
Speaker 1 (37:10):
His name is cameraman.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
That name he's known as Cameraman Paul came apparently he did.
He did a lot of Japanese songwriting in the UK,
original songwriting, and then became a singer in Japan to
then work in behind the camera. So he's done a lot.
(37:33):
When they were sat down talking about like what they've
been doing, surprise surprised me. But yeah, language detour because
obviously I was just like walking around England and they're
still using Japanese works because obviously they're so used to
saying even though they speak mostly English, M makes sense?
(37:53):
Makes sense?
Speaker 3 (37:54):
Please?
Speaker 2 (38:02):
I don't know, but.
Speaker 3 (38:03):
I find that Welsh is funny, like like it's amazing
that you can hold on to being able to speak
Welsh of all things fluently while you live in Japan,
Like it's just so crazy.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
Right because he always has to say the very long
Welsh town name and there she went there. It was
quite funny and like the whole station is just the
whole big sign, just the name of the town. The
only bat last bit I know is Gorgle. It's the
ending part of it. But I'm not going to try
to tell it.
Speaker 3 (38:37):
A colleague of mine messed up with that, because what
it was is that if there's new people at my company,
my new company because it got quired, they sort of
have to do an intro of I think I mentioned
this before because one of them said they did I
racing and beat rumors barrack, like introduce yourself. And this
person was Welsh, right, like I know, right, But my
(39:03):
colleague meant to put in like one of our like
more private group chats this, but he accidentally put it
in the chat of this team, like he put it's
not bad. Actually he put, I bet she can't say,
and then it was I'm not sure if you read
it out, but he probably just said, I bet I
(39:24):
bet him she can't say the name of this the
long town, you know, the long Welsh town name. But
it ended up working out great because she saw that
at the meeting chat and immediately was like, actually I
can say, and then realed it off perfectly to like
just do that, which was quite.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
Funny themselves put in.
Speaker 4 (39:48):
I didn't mean to put that in, to be honest,
it's quite tame and compared to what.
Speaker 3 (39:58):
Yeah, I mean, he wasn't gonna be like absolutely leave
s like talking ship. It was just sorry. Is that
he Every Welsh person he's met apparently can't say it,
and also he has looked like to himself to say
it so he can say it. So, yeah, the one
ending in Go Go.
Speaker 2 (40:14):
Go, Yeah, you've got to you've gotta when you pronounce
the whole name, you've got to sound like you have
something in your mouth. Well, I'm not gonna say what
it was. Hold on, I'm not going to kinda said
(40:36):
on the train track.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
Something crazy style.
Speaker 1 (40:41):
Yeah, but.
Speaker 2 (40:44):
That was you know, he says, you've got to sound
like you've got like something in your mouth.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
That was the joke. Obviously insert the rock raising Iron.
Speaker 2 (40:55):
Brown because I'm a show streamer.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
You know. You know the rock's official sound effect is
from among us as you know. Uh, but yeah, language
next topic we were going to talk about is the
(41:20):
topic monthly. Well you know what I've been to hot
topic now.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
Oh well, now you have to speak about the hot
topic is you know it's what?
Speaker 3 (41:35):
No, honestly, no, I'm going to add hot topic to
my list of Toronto trip things.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
To your list of great We're gonna have a family
trip Rescer going about like look at my slide show.
Speaker 3 (41:48):
I mean, I'm not prepared slideshow. But you hate I
am Rescer exactly.
Speaker 2 (41:54):
I hate, I hate I.
Speaker 3 (41:57):
Am rest Awe. It's known. But yes, June Monthly PlayStation
Plus Games. We have emoji. We have basketball emoji, NBA
two K two five, Flashlight Emoji, Alone in the Dark
twenty twenty four, Roller Skate Emoji, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and
(42:19):
Ring the Planet emoji Destiny to the Final Shape opinions.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
Ah, I've play I've added them all, and I've played
one of them a little bit of and I'm excited
to stream one of them.
Speaker 3 (42:35):
Which one we never know.
Speaker 2 (42:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (42:42):
Okay, actually I do know.
Speaker 2 (42:44):
I need to read it properly. Bomb Rush, Bomb Rush, Cyberfunk. Yes,
NEAs say I nearly say something at the end of it. Yes,
it reminds me a lot of jet Set Radio, which
I used to play in the past. But I don't
know if it's trying to be, but it's the same
graphics style and the same thing you have to do
(43:04):
in the game exactly. You have to go around and
roll the blades tagging your area. Yeah it is, it's
literally jet Set Radio. But I don't know if it's
a new like them bringing back jets Jet Radio in
a new way, or it's just a game that's got
the same stuff's going on.
Speaker 4 (43:24):
But I feel like it'd be too coincidental wise if
they were using basically the same art style, the same gameplay.
Speaker 2 (43:34):
Is exactly the same. But I did want to play
jets A Radio again, but I can't point it any weird.
It's been taken off Steam. I think there's a PlayStation No,
I look there as well, at.
Speaker 1 (43:47):
Least it where it used to be.
Speaker 4 (43:48):
And maybe if you look on your PS five, because
it may be a PS four only like literally like
you have.
Speaker 2 (43:54):
To get on your Vita, but obviously there'll be hard
to streaming if I did get on my Vita. Yeah,
but yeah, that that one looks exciting. The basketball one
I would have played if it was Croakner Basket, but
I might give it a goodness.
Speaker 1 (44:14):
Sick. I was gonna say, Alone in the Dark looks
like it would be.
Speaker 3 (44:20):
Someone I don't know anything about that.
Speaker 4 (44:23):
Actually, what happens is you're alone and it's in the dark,
isn't it. No, it's it's more horror like it's so
the original Lane of Dark. I mean, it's sort of.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
Similar to the Resident Evilish.
Speaker 4 (44:40):
I want to say it's not the same, but it's
sort of. You know, you go around, there is mysteries
and stuff happening, but there's many monsters that you've got
to like kill or whatever. But I haven't really the
only I mean, if you look at the original game,
it just looks so stupid that you wouldn't even want
(45:01):
to play it, Like it just looks awful. But yeah,
I know it might be right, Like it's not going
to be awful. The issue is because it's on Plus,
does think it's not that great? Like they weren't just
putting amazing How old is.
Speaker 1 (45:18):
This last year?
Speaker 2 (45:22):
Some of the recent game.
Speaker 4 (45:24):
Real quick look twenty for the third twenty twenty four.
Speaker 3 (45:28):
Okay, so it's a year old. That's yeah, that's not
necessarily a sign its ship because it's on Plus. I
would say you're not getting any sales anymore for that
sort of game. Of a year plus and that was good. Well, yes,
but that's one game.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
But that that probably would actually now be a flop.
Speaker 3 (45:51):
Because City by All My Tricks was an unsuccessful game,
I believe, as much as I think it's great, it
was unsuccessful to quality and success are not unfortunately not
linked always.
Speaker 1 (46:08):
Yeah, I don't know these these games. Two K twenty
five I just don't like that still. Also, I'm not
going to be playing that.
Speaker 4 (46:16):
And I've got two K twenty five of W anyway,
so obviously going to play that over this. And then
the other one that Bomb Russia.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
Is he platinum?
Speaker 4 (46:27):
Maybe I don't know, only plan I won't be playing it.
And the issue is a having my list of things
to play, and it will. They'll be there for years,
be there just in my library, never played.
Speaker 2 (46:43):
Probably, can I interrupt slightly?
Speaker 1 (46:46):
You always doing?
Speaker 2 (46:47):
Yep? I've been handed my dinner for the this evening
and is a maclin Oh.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
You'ven handed your notice or no?
Speaker 3 (46:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (47:00):
And I've been given a chicken catch you curry wrap delighted.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
They're really bad. One before I don't like him as well. Okay,
it's a much something in his mouth and he's got
wrap now like, jeez, he's going to wrap. He's gonna wrap.
Speaker 3 (47:21):
Now I can get.
Speaker 2 (47:28):
But yeah, carry on talking while I go and use
the bathroom.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
You're eating your wrap in the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (47:40):
No, I just happened to need to use the restroom
before I eat with the rap.
Speaker 3 (47:46):
No, okay, okay, I wanted to answer. Actually, and I
think Ada probably has equal man notes me on this,
so we don't need him on the Destiny two's on here,
which makes me remind me of this marathon coming out.
(48:06):
That's bungee, right. I've heard that this is shit or
expected to be ship do you know anything about this guy?
Speaker 1 (48:13):
I've even Finn heard for a long time. To be honest,
a by it sort of died a bit of like
this out of the meds. It like this is so bad.
Speaker 3 (48:28):
His release and I have not I'm looking at Okay,
apparently I came out in twenty first of December nineteen
ninety four for the Apple. The funny thing is, okay,
it's almosly been important. This is the wrong game, I know,
but it's funny that it's the original. The three platforms
of this are the Apple, Pippin, Classic os, and iOS.
(48:51):
But obviously it probably got portant marathon. Bungee. Let's look
this up. Oh yeah, I was going to say, okay,
tell me this year it's coming hello going on, but
it is. It is from the same series as that
one I mentioned.
Speaker 1 (49:08):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (49:10):
It's funny marathon from Bungeee, and I'm learning bungeelare now
interesting because of course Halo was originally on the back, right,
I remember that being a thing, and then obviously so
was this marathon. And now it's funny they're making a
new marathon. But I hear it's going to be ship.
Speaker 1 (49:29):
So I think it's really like snickers.
Speaker 3 (49:32):
Ah, that's good joke.
Speaker 1 (49:35):
That's good joke.
Speaker 5 (49:38):
But anyway, it's so hard to google for this. If
you search Marathon game, you get the nineteen ninety four one.
If you search Marathon Knew, you get the New Forest Marathon,
like an actual you.
Speaker 1 (49:54):
Run that sounds. That sounds probably better than.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
The game marathon. Bungee brings up the right game, despite
the fact that the old marathon is also Bungeee. But whatever,
I've heard that this is looking ship and people aren't
expecting it.
Speaker 1 (50:11):
To be good.
Speaker 4 (50:12):
Another bland game again, and it's like there's too many
of these now, there's too many games that just look
like they're just the same thing again, like it might
as well be Destiny.
Speaker 1 (50:20):
I don't know it just why do I want to
play it?
Speaker 3 (50:23):
I really looking at it now, the art style is
at least it's not grim Dark Triple A. It's a
bit brighter. It looks like I didn't play this, but
it kind of it was split the game with the
portals and the FBS with the portals give a similar
vibe to that. Because it's a bit it looks more indie. Honestly,
(50:45):
I suppose you could say it just has bad graphics
for the for maybe, but but but then that's not
necessarily an issue. I feel like it has a pretty
strong art style. Looking at it, it's more so more
interesting art style than say Destiny, indeed Halo in my opinion.
Speaker 1 (51:02):
Yeah, yeah, I just don't sure. There's nothing screaming out
of that game, like me thinking, oh wow, you play
like it looks amazing, Like I mean, I as we
just seen.
Speaker 4 (51:14):
I've basically forgot of its existence and we didn't know
it was out yet, like you had no idea, Like
it's just and I don't know it just doesn't seem
very it just seems very boring. Like my taste in
gaming has changed completely now because I don't I don't
play like cords and stuff anymore.
Speaker 1 (51:32):
I don't really play anything.
Speaker 4 (51:34):
That was just you know, the typical gamer would play,
you know, like FIFA card all that stuff. I mean,
I still play fee for a little bit, but I
haven't played that in months now, so it's just a
bit play death surrounding. At the moment, I'm like, oh god,
that's it's actually really good. You should play It's really good.
Speaker 3 (51:50):
Yeah, I need to play that especially that mean, no,
I don't think if you want.
Speaker 1 (51:59):
No, I wouldn't say you, yeah, well you can play,
but I don't think you'll have the same interest as
mainly GA game. No, it's kajamas a very high back
I would assume.
Speaker 3 (52:14):
If you want a game recommendational on those lines, it's
the Metal Solid franchise, not stranding because you haven't played
that yet.
Speaker 1 (52:21):
Yeah, yeah, exactly so.
Speaker 4 (52:24):
But but that is that that's the sort of game
I like where it's really different, like nothing, nothing that's
the same.
Speaker 1 (52:31):
It's not got the same features as other games.
Speaker 4 (52:34):
You know exactly, you're not holding Cargo and other games
and makes it fall over and then it go down
a stream and then you're running after your cargo, which
is really weird.
Speaker 1 (52:45):
All there's beats.
Speaker 4 (52:46):
And really it's just kagemery. Though it's soemery. It's great
in that aspect. Really, you know, it's and that's what
I think these sort of games are missing. And it
is because they're trying to be trible a games, trying
to be like call g. They're trying they want something
to sell, of course, so the heart is gone and
look you look at some of the things, and I
(53:09):
mean to throw back to Expedition Very Free, which is
made by what like fairy People, is arguably going to
win Game of the Year and they would.
Speaker 1 (53:20):
Have spent theirwn ear as much money as as this.
Speaker 4 (53:22):
Will probably spend this marathon whatever, and that will probably
sell a crap because people will play it be like
oh shit, basically we will find out, oh no, it's
actually not very good and then and that's what it
takes this especially this day, and it's like it was
not like when we were younger, when you had to
I mean, you could look at reviews, but it was
mainly you go out by something and.
Speaker 1 (53:44):
Hope that it's good.
Speaker 4 (53:45):
You didn't really have any idea, especially as a kid,
you had no idea what was good or bad, So
you just picked somebody like, oh, I'll play this because
of whatever reason.
Speaker 1 (53:54):
If it's good as good, if as bad as bad.
But yeah, this day and age, all you have is
people reviewing it all the time.
Speaker 4 (54:00):
So they review it, say it's bad, and then you're
probably never going to pick it up.
Speaker 1 (54:04):
At least for myself, That's why I do. I don't
watch people review stuff, but if there's a load of
bad reviews media about it, I will just be like,
what's the point? People were generally not generally right if
they if many people say something, it usually turns out
to be the case.
Speaker 4 (54:18):
So but yeah, I don't. I don't know, Like there's
there's some games. I don't really think there's much this
year though. Honestly, people going out how good this year
is going to be, and I'm unless this, you know,
the the thing later on changes that they may do.
Speaker 1 (54:34):
But the only game looking forward to is Guess three.
There's literally the only game I'm looking forward to this year.
I don't I can't think.
Speaker 4 (54:42):
Yeah exactly, I want to know it's like August August,
but that seems too like that that's.
Speaker 1 (54:54):
Two months away. Man, two hours are getting guests followed
free remake? Like what the hell?
Speaker 3 (55:00):
I was supposed to stream as playing well at least
one and two I could. I could manage that, right,
I could manage one and two before delta. Yeah, yeah,
I just have to actually do that.
Speaker 4 (55:10):
I mean, you know how to play them as well,
so you obviously got the bonus you know, playing them
before at least.
Speaker 3 (55:17):
Yeah, I might actually play Twin well, you should play
these things.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
I don't know I have. I've seen all Less Snaky,
I have not played.
Speaker 3 (55:29):
To play. I might actually play is playing MG just
one proper which I have obviously you played. I might
actually play the gamekeeper on Twin Snakes. I have hear
good things about that these days, so I better quality,
like graphically than the O G.
Speaker 4 (55:50):
Yeah good, I have played actually the first one to
be honest, play.
Speaker 1 (55:56):
Around mind I played on my phone, didn't I those days?
Speaker 3 (56:00):
Oh yeah, bloody.
Speaker 1 (56:04):
Best friend ever made. I'm having right now.
Speaker 3 (56:08):
I'm having that scene from Ratitui where the guy is
the food and then he is like flashed back into
his chower. Ratite references the stream. Yeah, by the way,
just to circle back to the two thousand and seven things,
because I've now successfully signed into my iTunes as while
we've been talking, would you like to know the the
(56:30):
eight songs I added to my iTunes library in two
thousand and seven, which would have been probably mostly iTunes
purchases or lime Can I guess?
Speaker 1 (56:41):
Can I try and guess? Yeah? They all like pop um.
Speaker 3 (56:48):
Okay, they are all but two are popular songs of
the time. The other two are probably more like eighties.
Speaker 1 (56:57):
Wows seven.
Speaker 3 (57:00):
It's from a movie that's been mentioned today at No No, No,
no attitude.
Speaker 1 (57:08):
I believe that The Futures was probably a power.
Speaker 3 (57:11):
Love Parallel was added to my library on twenty third,
third of April two thousand and seven. That's so well,
m that's.
Speaker 1 (57:20):
Jobs I even think of pop songs for that.
Speaker 4 (57:25):
I mean, I feel like some reason, I feel like
Replay came out then, but maybe that was the year.
Speaker 3 (57:31):
I'm not that I feel like that may have been
later either way. I first, really, I think that's more
like twenty ten because I was playing on the ski trip.
Speaker 4 (57:38):
Could have been Yeah, I could have been earlier than that.
Speaker 1 (57:43):
It must be some black eyed peas surely.
Speaker 3 (57:48):
Actually, Okay, the year before I added My Humps to
my library. Excuse that My Humps, Yeah, you know, My
homes is a classic.
Speaker 2 (58:00):
I heard it at my home.
Speaker 1 (58:02):
What are you gonna do with?
Speaker 3 (58:03):
Oh there, I'm gonna get you drink?
Speaker 1 (58:09):
Is such a check?
Speaker 3 (58:11):
Any other suggestions? Music?
Speaker 1 (58:13):
Here's another eighty song.
Speaker 3 (58:16):
Okay, let me clarify the year of that, because I
might have go okay, nineteen seventy seven. That song is
oh wow, okay, Uh the way I don't think so.
I don't know why. I like particularly felt like purchasing
(58:37):
this song on iTunes for seventy nine P but I
did archetypes.
Speaker 1 (58:41):
Uh, he gives more, give it curious, give us more,
give us more.
Speaker 3 (58:46):
I don't know how to Okay, I mean, like, how
is it?
Speaker 1 (58:50):
A group? Said artists?
Speaker 3 (58:51):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (58:52):
Two?
Speaker 3 (58:52):
Three? Three of these songs from the same artists who
was a very popular pop artist around the era thousand
and seven. Two of them are by a rapper who
these days says controversial things. One of these, yeah, so
I have touched the sky and stronger here oh wow,
(59:13):
Yeah you mentioned jay Z. Jay Z is featured on
one of the songs. Have Umbrella and.
Speaker 1 (59:29):
The other.
Speaker 3 (59:31):
Two other songs.
Speaker 1 (59:32):
Yeah, is it Disturbia?
Speaker 3 (59:35):
No, I think that's later than this.
Speaker 1 (59:38):
Ponder replay.
Speaker 3 (59:40):
No, but you're closer that.
Speaker 1 (59:42):
Oh what unfaithful? No? I know more than that. Four.
Speaker 3 (59:51):
One of them fits my theme, my vitube theme.
Speaker 1 (59:59):
What what's.
Speaker 3 (01:00:03):
Racing cars?
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
A song about racing chasing cars? That's not reality?
Speaker 3 (01:00:11):
Yeah, that's not the song I'm talking about?
Speaker 1 (01:00:13):
What you know? Racing Rihanna song I Can't Think?
Speaker 3 (01:00:18):
Or driving?
Speaker 1 (01:00:20):
Oh, shut up and drive?
Speaker 3 (01:00:23):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (01:00:24):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:00:25):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
And now another really is the other Ranna song? Why
would you have it?
Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
I feel like it was for me. Observing seven it
was the most popular of these, except for perhaps Umbrother brother.
Speaker 1 (01:00:38):
See that's the one I always find in the popular
and only go in the World's too.
Speaker 3 (01:00:42):
Late, it would have been. Remember it could be earlier
as well, because I added in seven seven it didn't
come out.
Speaker 1 (01:00:49):
It's another Rihanna song.
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
Same album as Pond the replay.
Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
I think is it album?
Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
This is like the most popular song from that album,
more popular than Ponder Replay?
Speaker 1 (01:01:04):
I think, yeah, it probably is. I can't think of
it obviously so annoying. I'm not going to even know.
I'm just it's going to oh, for God's sake.
Speaker 4 (01:01:17):
Yeah, I thought that was later Again, I don't know
why I thought that was a Lates song. I thought
that was on the same album as like California King
Bed and stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
But that is like only ten.
Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
If the Good Girl was gone Mad, I would say good,
go go bad?
Speaker 1 (01:01:36):
What time? What time is you are alive?
Speaker 3 (01:01:38):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:01:38):
Like honestly legit.
Speaker 3 (01:01:43):
The other song that was not mentioned at all is
window Shopping fifty cent Wow, yeah wow.
Speaker 1 (01:01:55):
I would have never got like a million years. It
wasn't even go surety.
Speaker 3 (01:02:02):
In this in this library right here?
Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
What great time? They're right? The week thing.
Speaker 3 (01:02:07):
Is right there are Okay, I'll stop talking about my
actions library in a moment. There are seven thousand, nine
hundred and seventy one songs in this library, right. Obviously,
it's very easy to add songs to Apple Music now, right, Yes,
it's essentially free. However, before anime, right, only one hundred
and twelve of those hundred and only one are pre anime.
(01:02:32):
The one hundred and thirteenth song is Raspberry Heaven by
Oranges and Lemons from Aza Magadia. And that's so much
of my life is post anime he says, he talks
into his fortuber model on a stream. It all adds up.
(01:02:52):
I guess where did you see any I want to
see my number even iTunes or your five.
Speaker 1 (01:02:58):
I mean you can look at your focus.
Speaker 3 (01:03:01):
I mean maybe, but I writes for these sort of things.
If you go to songs in the library and oh,
do you have the bar at the bottom or not
bar the why not? Is there a bar at the
bottom that says how many items days and gigabytes your library?
Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
Then go to.
Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
Oh view and shows status SPA view, sure, and then
you can see a number of items, show activity window,
state of SPA state.
Speaker 2 (01:03:40):
Oh okay, how many songs did you have?
Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
Seven and seventy one?
Speaker 1 (01:03:46):
Damn?
Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
Even with all my anime that I keep shazaming every
time I watch something new four thousand and seven and forty?
How many eleven point two?
Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
Nineteen point one?
Speaker 1 (01:03:59):
Interesting? Yeah? But I thinks is that.
Speaker 2 (01:04:04):
As soon as I got Apple Music, I was like
adding everything I liked.
Speaker 4 (01:04:08):
I mean, once again, I won't be able to look
at iTunes, But I mean if I could find on
my phone or but I.
Speaker 1 (01:04:13):
Don't know where that would actually be, don't Why don't
I just tell you.
Speaker 3 (01:04:21):
It's in your it's in settings somewhere, I think on
the phone, but it's yeah, I think I might only
tell you how many you've downloaded as well, rather than
your total library, because more relevant to your phone storage,
I guess, but.
Speaker 1 (01:04:34):
I think you can.
Speaker 4 (01:04:35):
I mean, like I've done a way before where if
you go, let's just go into my actual library. If
I go into the library and then go into songs
and then.
Speaker 1 (01:04:45):
Like I'm going to play a song though, but I
just try and play a song and hopefully it won't
destroy my thing six And then if I go into
the list and then stra the way down because it
can't load.
Speaker 4 (01:05:01):
Yeah, so I've got three thousand and thirty five plus
one hundred. So I've got three thousand, one hundred and
thirty five.
Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
On my phone.
Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
Well beating guys.
Speaker 3 (01:05:13):
I already thought you'd have fucking tons.
Speaker 1 (01:05:15):
Wait was that downloaded?
Speaker 3 (01:05:17):
It was one of one of the two thousand would.
Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
Be a lot, it would be.
Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
Should we compare MAO lists? Then no, it's kind perhaps
I'm nearly two thousand.
Speaker 3 (01:05:32):
Km's briefly going back to PlayStation Plus, there was also
the extra premium.
Speaker 6 (01:05:40):
I mean, guys, you have any strong opinion on that.
I mean like ass but yeah, and they liked it.
They like making sure people are disappointed. That's their favorite thing.
Speaker 3 (01:05:51):
G three is so random when like, yeah, the real much.
Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
The good thing of that, I suppose you know, they've
got the so they've got the watch to call it that. Yeah,
that is the remaster. That GT three, that's the reommaster.
Speaker 3 (01:06:07):
It's just that one.
Speaker 1 (01:06:09):
Yeah, just that one. But yeah, I mean they're they're
like extra games because it's like days of plays and
they're like extra thing you added on you know. It's
like it's cool that they've done it. Like scorn Bones
on there, which is basically a Sassa's Creed Black Flag,
but not as good, and I'm like, well I may I.
Speaker 4 (01:06:29):
May try that because you know, why not. Another Crab's
Treasure is quite good though. That is like a legit
good game that they've actually added, because it's like a
soul's game, like souls Born whatever you call it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
Yeah, and it's it's just obviously you're a crab, a
hermit crab. It's quite cool because you pick up armor
by like you know, picking up stuff like a hermit
crab one, which is a cool concept and it is
a highly rated game, you know, and I went not
stupidly higher rated, but you know, it's it's better than
probably everything else on there. And I guess, like again,
(01:07:03):
you know, it is like okay, well they're giving us
stuff free on top of the stuff we've already got
for free, so that's cool. But it's just it does
feel and like the last thing that I've actually now played,
the blue Prints that has actually that was free on
like day one. Great, Like that's that's what they should
(01:07:23):
be doing.
Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
And I feel like they some reason don't do what
game Pass did and just have that like you know,
basically everything's free, so the first day, you know, it's
all free, like you know, you'd have to pay for
a full fledged game, which is amazing, and some reason
PlayStation I just I don't know, they just sort of
don't do that because you think how how well off
PlayStation I know put off anyway, but like how will
(01:07:45):
they be telling that like package if you could get
like say The Last of Us when it comes out
or Lose God when it came out, would have would
have sold for that, would have would have just sold
that whole thing.
Speaker 1 (01:07:58):
If you get God War regnarockme. But they just some
reason don't do it, and it's like, well, you've got
Xbox doing it, so why why are they not doing it?
Why are we not doing it?
Speaker 4 (01:08:09):
What's what's the problem. And that's why Game Passed was
so much better, Like it was the best best value
for money by far, Like I mean, I'm talking like
twenty twenty one or whatever.
Speaker 3 (01:08:21):
It was really good, wasn't it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:23):
Well, yeah, exactly streams Yeah, I mean crazy how much
we actually use gate well, I mean the Xbox One.
But it's yeah, just wasn't it exactly? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:08:36):
I had Game Passed?
Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
Yeah exactly.
Speaker 4 (01:08:39):
The man who never plays games. But it's it's mad
that the premium. I wish, I wish it was slightly better.
It just has to be a little bit better. Bring
out these PS one classics, like where's kroc Whe's Crop two?
Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
You know where is that? Where's the Eminem's shell Shocked game?
Who knows? You know? Not that some reason I remember
that game. I I remember that some reason I remember
the Eminem's sponsored game simply because I think I got
it from like a Blockbuster or something back in the day,
like rented it. Like that's how old. It's so old, man,
(01:09:13):
but there's so many games.
Speaker 4 (01:09:14):
I remember just from back in the day of just
going to a Blockbuster and renting it out and ah man,
good times, good times.
Speaker 3 (01:09:25):
Good Diames, good times. Next on our list is the
PlayStation State of Play, which is tonight. It's is it
about two hours from now? I think, yeah, sorry, I
read the European time. Yeah, it's fifteen minutes away. Yeah,
we'll have to end.
Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
Yeah, I will want to watch that, So I mean,
I think that's going to be quite interesting. I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:09:54):
Once again, you get your hopes up to these games,
or you get hopes up for PlayStation stuff, and it
usually lets down.
Speaker 1 (01:10:00):
But there's.
Speaker 4 (01:10:02):
Most people know what's going to come, don't they, because
there's always leaked.
Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
There's always something's leaked.
Speaker 4 (01:10:07):
Beforehand, like when Metal Gear sort of free, you know,
we all knew it was happening before even came on.
Is a bit like, oh, it sucks for me, but yeah,
like the rest of you will nine would be cool.
You get to play the boy Leon Rescer, so you
know you love you love it Leon, and we're pretty
certain that's going to be announced. Well, there's there's crazy things.
Speaker 1 (01:10:29):
Like people saying like new God of War. I knew this, this, this,
and that, Like.
Speaker 4 (01:10:33):
You know, it's PlayStation one, so it will be there
should be some good stuff in there. But yeah, I
guess we'll just wait, wait and see how it goes.
Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
But I don't know.
Speaker 4 (01:10:44):
I don't want to get my home from There's too
many things, too many games I want to happen. I
just want l s Across six Man. Well, why why
could never get that? Why why we've got Oblivion before
Cross six Well, that was going on.
Speaker 1 (01:10:57):
I hate it. I love Blivion though, but I hate that.
But it's just that game was announced like must be
ten years ago now.
Speaker 3 (01:11:06):
Because yeah, I'm not sure if I think I'm like
like wanting because I follow the rumors, but I will.
I will blindly wish for Crass Crash Bandicoot even though
it's not happening, doesn't have a division, doesn't have a
studio left to make it because they're all working on cords.
Speaker 1 (01:11:27):
Now is the issue? Yeah, I think I'd love you.
Speaker 3 (01:11:33):
Card for you ruined.
Speaker 1 (01:11:36):
Everything?
Speaker 3 (01:11:39):
But yeah, isn't that funny card for led to Crash
Bandicoot not gain games, Despite the fact that at the
time of four coming out would have been like what
crash tag team racing or something.
Speaker 1 (01:11:50):
Yeah, probably.
Speaker 3 (01:11:52):
Never mutant.
Speaker 1 (01:11:53):
Yeah, yeah, which is a bad game.
Speaker 3 (01:11:58):
Yes, funny how things all come together, right, No, I
don't know. Next on here is Spider Story.
Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
Oh yeah, I'll do it quickly because I want to
do the other thing afterwards.
Speaker 1 (01:12:18):
Well.
Speaker 2 (01:12:20):
Yes, so I was in my bed sleeping. I was
in my bed one morning a wrap.
Speaker 3 (01:12:29):
No, that's what.
Speaker 2 (01:12:35):
I saw at the corner, and I thought nothing of it,
so I went back to sleep.
Speaker 1 (01:12:42):
So he's like in a dark group and he sees
a shadowy figure.
Speaker 2 (01:12:45):
No, it wasn't it was quite It was not dark.
Speaker 1 (01:12:48):
It's a guy who lives here.
Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
Can I just say, can I just before you continue?
I thought Spider Story was going to be the name
of an anime because it's grouped, and how I realized
this is completely a different story.
Speaker 2 (01:13:03):
It's about my life. Well, it wasn't quite dark, and
it wasn't quite light, but it was enough to like see.
So it's also at the corner. I saw nothing.
Speaker 1 (01:13:13):
What. I'm confused because you said you're go to sleep,
so surely.
Speaker 3 (01:13:17):
Was I was?
Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
No, I was in bed sleep, well sleep like in
and out of sleep, because obviously it's not.
Speaker 1 (01:13:27):
Yeah, trying to get out of shut up all.
Speaker 2 (01:13:30):
Right at the car, My eyes thought nothing of it, closed,
my eyes went into a weird, deepish sleep, and then
as I was coming around to wake up, I on
my face. I went oh, and I smacked it and
I joted up. I looked on the floor and crawling
(01:13:53):
around was a massive spider and actually had to look
it up because obviously, like we've seen a these running
around before, and I didn't think we had them here.
But it was a false widow. So it was a
massive black spider with red legs. And ironically, this one
on its abdomen had a golden skull symbol on its abdomen.
(01:14:17):
And if that bit me, I would have been in
trouble because it's one of the it is a venomous
species of spider. So luckily it didn't bite me, but
it was on my face.
Speaker 1 (01:14:28):
Oh you deserved it there, but I mean a little
fairness she did hit it.
Speaker 2 (01:14:33):
Well, I was on my face. I then found out
that my sister had in her bed and it bit
her leg and yeah, it's swallowed up and everything. So yeah,
they are not dangerous, but they are biters and got
some sort of.
Speaker 1 (01:14:52):
Yes, so I wouldn't want to get bitten by anything
spider only.
Speaker 2 (01:14:58):
Only deadliest thing I've been bitten by was a python
called a heather.
Speaker 1 (01:15:06):
I should call it monty. Why when you call a
python monty?
Speaker 2 (01:15:09):
It was the one naming them. But she was eleven
maybe you should have eleven foot yep. And that was
the spider story. I got a picture of it. I'll
put it on the discordus at some point of what
it is. Yes, it was a false widow.
Speaker 1 (01:15:28):
I think we know what spiders.
Speaker 2 (01:15:29):
Yeah, but the species, the type of spider.
Speaker 1 (01:15:32):
Was was it? Was it spider man.
Speaker 3 (01:15:34):
I don't don't just post the picture of spider and
at first because some people will not take.
Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
Yeah, that's got people spiders.
Speaker 1 (01:15:46):
Oh that's somebody.
Speaker 2 (01:15:50):
You've already mentioned the movie, So bringing that up again
because obviously men I.
Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
Didn't mention no, excuse me, oh he's killed. I didn't
really mention it. I just said Friday. But you feel
free to say what that actually is, because it's not
a movie.
Speaker 2 (01:16:06):
Lastly, last year, before Down the DWN Season one came out,
they released the first two episodes early in a movie
kind of format in the cinema. I me and Rescer
and my brother went to go watch it was really good,
and then obviously then we watched the Dawn series. Rescuer
is a bit so he's still watching it. But this
(01:16:26):
time around for season two, they're doing the same thing again,
but they've actually gave it like a title of its own.
I think it's called Dead Eye or something. Now, oh,
Evil Eye.
Speaker 3 (01:16:38):
Story Arc or something.
Speaker 2 (01:16:39):
Yeah, and it's the same premise again, first three episodes
of the second season before as in the cinema and me,
Restker and my brother are going to go watch that
again on Friday in a very fancy cinema.
Speaker 1 (01:16:53):
Is it that fancy? It is?
Speaker 3 (01:16:54):
It will not be that fancy.
Speaker 2 (01:16:55):
It is a fancy one. It looks fancy.
Speaker 3 (01:16:58):
Ah, well, it's more like retro. It's more the opposite
of fantasy, but in a good way, to be fair,
because it's at least this is huge anymore. Guy, Well, yeah,
I mean the chain of you.
Speaker 1 (01:17:12):
It is that.
Speaker 4 (01:17:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
Well, at least this time around we won't have our
ears blown out because of the audio was bad for
that one advert for I was a Detective Conan.
Speaker 3 (01:17:26):
Well yeah, yeah, the audio the cinema last time was
like super fucking loud, and I don't really know why.
Luckily the dan and itself was a bit lower than
some of the adverts, but yeah, it was still pretty
loud on Friday. Will be better, yes, okay, So next
(01:17:47):
on the.
Speaker 2 (01:17:48):
Thing is anime. The Anime Awards were was a couple
of weeks ago, and obviously I held off from like
talking about it because some of the stuff I've heard
for did uh and it was presented just the year
was presented by Gaunt and I remember the I don't
(01:18:08):
know them.
Speaker 3 (01:18:09):
I can't like the the clothing company, the guy that
tells you you always got to travel.
Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
YouTuber.
Speaker 2 (01:18:23):
He's also friends with Connor and all that, but like, yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:18:26):
So he stole the name from the fashion he was.
Speaker 3 (01:18:28):
He was, are you're not thinking of a Gant guy?
Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
That's what we said, Gant. I assume he's doing it
like A.
Speaker 3 (01:18:38):
Can't is a g A r N T? I believe?
Speaker 2 (01:18:43):
Okay, uh yeah he's the BBC. He yeah, yeah, him,
him and I A Mass were presenting the award show.
I need to still like watch it, ball clips of
it all that, and I'm going to go through the
nominees and then actually what won for the category as
(01:19:05):
well to so if people know some of the shows.
So Anime of the Year, the nominees down to Don
Delicious in Dungeon Free, Ren Beyond, Journey's End, Kaiju Number Eight,
Solo Leveling, or The Apothecary Diaries, and it's going to
(01:19:27):
be the Dan Free right, surprisingly, which I was weirdly
because like, yeah, people do like this show and all that,
but it's not like I didn't think it was a
big deal. But apparently Solo Leveling the Wow anime won
it of this year. Surprising Anime Film of the Year,
(01:19:49):
So you've got High Q, The Dumpster Battle, look Back,
The Phantom in the Rain, My Hierocademia, Your Next, Spike's Family,
Collde White, or The Colors Within.
Speaker 3 (01:20:06):
I don't know it was a voting thing.
Speaker 2 (01:20:08):
It was, yeah, you have to vote. Yeah, like Country
Roll Game.
Speaker 3 (01:20:10):
I have no idea, what would.
Speaker 2 (01:20:13):
I haven't seen this movie yet or even heard of it.
It's called look Back, and it's a commonly rama.
Speaker 3 (01:20:19):
Well, you know, I think that that was part of
the eslay last year, but I did not go to
more than one film of.
Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
That, so I think it's right.
Speaker 4 (01:20:27):
It's just like actual Awards, where it's basically bad wins
like it's it's not it's like the actual movie awards,
when usually the actual movie is not the best movie.
Speaker 3 (01:20:37):
Can I well, I think I prefer yeah, But then
I think as much as I don't like panel type
awards ceremonies like the Oscars, I still think that's better
than a voting based public one, because then it's just
a popularity contest. The best anime movie of the year
is probably not the most popular of the movie of
(01:21:00):
the year every year, honestly, like in the fact that
there's so many franchise movies you reeled off there, like
none of them should be even eligible in my opinion.
Speaker 2 (01:21:10):
But being kind of global Global Impact Award, there's no
nominee for this apparently season season great, No, but the winner.
I don't know why there's no I don't remember it.
Speaker 3 (01:21:27):
Not a voting one, I imagine they.
Speaker 2 (01:21:28):
Just Global Impact Awards. Which did crash the Crunchy or
Service a couple of times because people were trying to
watch it was the final season of Tackle Titan, the
Final Chapters, which was that it's the two movies that
ends the whole Tackle Titan, and it was pretty good.
Speaker 1 (01:21:48):
Oh thank God to spoil it for me.
Speaker 3 (01:21:50):
Did Aaron finally drink jaeger.
Speaker 2 (01:21:54):
Uh No, but they did drink some funny wine.
Speaker 3 (01:21:59):
Business. Let's not go any further before you actually spoil
the show for someone who would.
Speaker 1 (01:22:04):
Actually care too much.
Speaker 2 (01:22:07):
Best Continuing Anime Series One Piece Bleach Thousand Year Blood War,
Demons Chair, the Training Arc My Hair Academia season seven,
One Piece, One Piece Osino Co. Which is The Idol
(01:22:29):
Show Season two or Spikes Family Season two.
Speaker 3 (01:22:33):
I am again not sure what would actually went out
of this. I feel like I feel like it's either
one Piece of Demons.
Speaker 2 (01:22:37):
Layer, but Demonslair Training won that one.
Speaker 3 (01:22:43):
I think it's I'm not even guessing what I think
is best. I'm guessing what got voted for.
Speaker 2 (01:22:49):
Best New Anime Series for some reason, the Anime It's
the same as the Anime of Year Awards, So that
was your solo leveling Best Origin No Anime, Butchie Girl,
Gury Bochie Gurry Girls Band Cry, Jellyfish, Can't Swim in
(01:23:15):
the Night, Metallic Rouge, Ninja kam Or Trained to the
End of the World.
Speaker 1 (01:23:25):
I have no idea.
Speaker 2 (01:23:26):
I've only seen two of those shows. I think. Let
me open up this one, double check what this one
is oh yeah, I've only seen two of those shows. Uh,
the winner was Ninja Kamoi.
Speaker 3 (01:23:41):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:23:42):
Best animation nominees are down to Don Delicious in Dungeon,
Demon Slayer, Harshery Training, Arc Free Ren Kaiju Number, or
Solo Leveling.
Speaker 3 (01:23:57):
If Demon Slayer beats Standard down and this a you know.
Speaker 2 (01:24:01):
Well it actually did beat because it was the winner.
Demos was the winner of that one. Because but you
when you do, you will you will agree with you said.
Speaker 3 (01:24:13):
That about season one though, and that looks better than season.
Speaker 2 (01:24:16):
One episode where this is probably referencing from where that
whole animation thing that that that yes, that will that
will show you.
Speaker 3 (01:24:26):
I feel like it shouldn't be based on one episode though,
because you.
Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
Say, like Demons has really nice animation to begin with,
especially with all the like like this the right.
Speaker 3 (01:24:39):
Demons Slayer. Demonslayer has nice art. There's very it doesn't
have other than like I've only seen the first season obviously,
but other than that one episode, but the amazing animation,
the animation movement is not like it's it's not bad,
but like the whole is fucking silent sorrow going crazy.
Speaker 2 (01:25:02):
Yeah, come on, well, I'm going off by the hol
of Tames there where. Yeah, there was the season one.
There was a few episodes. Obviously you wouldn't think it,
but like going forward, animation with the fight scenes and
everything was spectacular.
Speaker 3 (01:25:18):
Can you say it's only one episode again.
Speaker 2 (01:25:19):
No, I'm saying they went overboard in the last episode,
which was probably what gave it the extra push, which
you will agree you've once you've seen it.
Speaker 3 (01:25:31):
Maybe you're right, because I haven't seen it. But let
me tell you, even fifteen years ago, people were saying
that Fate zero had amazing animation. And while Fate zero
looks great, it's just not like it's just not like that.
It's not the animation that made it look nice. It
just looks nice in general. The animation is the fluidity,
(01:25:55):
the movement, the smears, the choreography of a fight scene.
I guess I don't know. It's the fact that people
are still voting for I mean, yeah, that's the thing,
but looks great.
Speaker 2 (01:26:11):

there's Raymo and a half Ocean no co uh they
exclu the Elusive Samurai. Sorry, I did watch that one.
(01:34:00):

Speaker 2 (01:34:09):
Apparently I need to watch so the leveling if it's
winning everything, Okay, this one was. This one was good
as well. Best Anime Voice Performance Artist Voice Performance Japanese.
And then we'll finish with the English one. Uh Aoi

(01:34:34):

Speaker 3 (01:35:12):
Well, yeah, but I don't know who would win.
Speaker 2 (01:35:16):
aUI Yuki as Momo mamou sorry from The Pothcarry Diaries,
which I've only seen the dub of, But it wouldn't
surprise me because it was. It's a good show all
around anyway. Best anime voice artist performance. That's Arabic, that's Portuguese,
that's Spanish, all right, English? Uh a j as okron
(01:35:41):
o'karun from Downton Dawn, Alex lightly for solo solo leveling,

Speaker 3 (01:36:14):
By the way, Yuki, thank you for the hydrate and
welcome in Hope You're doing good.
Speaker 2 (01:36:19):
I have no idea for this Harley. It was Alex.
Alex is spelled like, yeah, I think it's Alex, but
it's spelled l A L e K s as jing
Wu in sort of leveling. I think he also plays
a character in Donda Dam which I haven't met yet,
(01:36:39):
which he's really funny. And the rest are French, German, Hindi, Italian,
and Spanish. That's it the Anime Awards.
Speaker 3 (01:36:55):
Cool uh. Next up, last topic we have on here
is my all Toronto trip.
Speaker 2 (01:37:03):
Yes, let me just sleep.
Speaker 3 (01:37:04):
I talked about a bit on last tream. I got
to wake up.
Speaker 2 (01:37:08):
Now because any input whatsoever, it sucks.
Speaker 3 (01:37:18):
Of course, I thought you'd give you your opinion on
them more than just read them, because I mean, yeah,
that was just the list of all things. This was
trying to get some of these.
Speaker 2 (01:37:31):
Yeah, but I didn't know for some of the results
because I didn't look all the way through. But some
I did agree with with, like the Slice of Life
and all that because I've seen that one, so I
did agree with that one and some of the music choices.
The rest of it was so leveling, which I never
seen so leveling yet. But I'm playing to now because
of all the results demons agreed with.
Speaker 1 (01:37:51):
I'm sorry still comment, but.
Speaker 3 (01:37:57):
I said I got to wake up now.
Speaker 2 (01:37:58):
Oh yeah, it's obviously yes, yes, yes, So.
Speaker 3 (01:38:06):
I went to an anime convention.
Speaker 2 (01:38:08):
Yes, well anime to then wake up to talk about
an anime invention.
Speaker 3 (01:38:16):
So I spent at this anime invention. I spent one
dollar Canadian and yess what I purchased.
Speaker 1 (01:38:26):
The I think.
Speaker 3 (01:38:29):
Yes, I bought an among Us iron on patch for
one Canadian dollar that's approximately fifty p.
Speaker 2 (01:38:35):
Why are you going to put it?
Speaker 3 (01:38:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:38:39):
You have a cool jean jacket.
Speaker 3 (01:38:41):
Go on jean jacket. Maybe I guess I should. I
guess I should use that.
Speaker 2 (01:38:48):
But with everything that there, you went to a big
anime invention, with everything there, why did you only buy
one among Us iron on patch?
Speaker 3 (01:38:57):
I mean, honestly, there's normal one there to be honest,
you know, you know the one thing I would have bought.
One of the people we were there with sheet Mom Soul.
She was buying like every single meeky figure she could
find her eyes. Yeah, yeah. But then I overheard, like
I think I think Lyth mentioned it. So all the
Androids conventions now right, they're all like newer ones, right,
(01:39:22):
the numbers are in the in the in the the hundreds,
even thousands. But I heard that they I think there
was with that said that they had seen number thirty three,
which is like whoa like a actually old Android. I
would have remembered seeing available at like London Comic Con
(01:39:44):
in two thousand and thirteen or whatever, and I was like, oh,
you know, why am I actually buy that? And then
Sol immediately brought it not not the only thing else really,
just because it's like and old Neanderoid number.
Speaker 2 (01:40:01):
Oh it was another Miki one. I'd search up the number.
Speaker 3 (01:40:03):
It was Miki. Oh yeah, yeah it was Miki. Yeah,
I should have clarified.
Speaker 2 (01:40:07):
I hang on, but what was the last android you
ever bought? Was the one you bought for me and
sent me a picture of you putting it down the toilet?
Speaker 3 (01:40:16):
I don't think so. The most recent android I bought
was a hol of Life feature were Hatchama, which I
forget I bought, and I'm kind of surprised I did.
I have actually just bought an android online in like
twenty twenty one or something. God, no, they're all bogsed away.
Speaker 2 (01:40:34):
Oh yeah, yeay. The one thing I did regret is
not ask you to get the her novels.
Speaker 1 (01:40:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:40:41):
I saw a bunch of Yeah, I saw a bunch
of hardcover Harry novels. To be fair, I think I
did look up those at least stay on eBay and
stuff the price they had it for is similar to yeah,
where you can get online, and by which I mean
it's not very expensive anyway, at least those ones. So
I don't missed out too much on that. But yeah, Amazon,
(01:41:05):
Yeah that was just nice to see. Yeah, I mean
you're only you go away to buying used anyway. I
presumably ones I had were somewhat used. It a good
quality there, I guess the advantage of buying it. They're
at the cons that you know that you can see
the quality before you buy. Yeah, they were. I've had
a sound They had one different one I think, but
(01:41:25):
one was the same as the other one. And that
was surprising. Yeah, just surprised to see a couple of
hardback hory novels in Time twenty five. So that was amusing.
But you know, I don't need to buy them because
I have them. Yeah, that wasn't a me either. Well,
yeah that is uh yeah, I've pre ordered that on
Ama John, so that's coming soon July. I think that
(01:41:49):
is as well, after I hadn't even read the previous one. Actually,
nor can I really remember many of the later novels. Whoops.
But yeah, and North, Yeah, i mean I'm just you know,
I don't watch love anime. The idea of buying like
spending the money on anime merch is Yeah. I wasn't
going to so, and I knew that's why I didn't
(01:42:11):
bother like getting it. I didn't. I didn't even get
any check luggage from my trip because you had to
pay like over fifty pounds each way for check luggage,
which I thought was exhaortionate when all the long haul
flights are done in the paths of THELU did that,
and I thought, fuck it, I'm going to manage with
my massive backpack that counts as cabin luggage and did so.
But that did me. I didn't really have any room
(01:42:32):
to like take a figure back, but I to say
I wasn't going to buy one anyway. I could have
probably squeezed that maker in but yeah, I'll live without it.
I don't even have wanted it because it's old and
seemingly rare. It wasn't even to expensive, so probably isn't
that rare, But it's just a fact that they had
it more than anything else.
Speaker 2 (01:42:50):
Well, did my Tina to pin arrive safely?
Speaker 1 (01:42:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:42:56):
I have that re memorable now. Friday he gave that me.
Speaker 2 (01:43:02):
Which I hardly no one knew where it was from
except me.
Speaker 3 (01:43:06):
Well, anyway, it says hike on it.
Speaker 2 (01:43:08):
Yeah, but you know hike you Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:43:10):
I just didn't want the pin. I guess.
Speaker 1 (01:43:13):
You.
Speaker 2 (01:43:14):
What do they do by all?
Speaker 3 (01:43:17):
I have no idea. They just have it.
Speaker 2 (01:43:19):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (01:43:20):
It wasn't even it wasn't even from the corn we
went to. He just had it already, okay, just didn't
want it, happy to give it away. I was given
actually a love Life blind box that contained a Maki
so I have a little Machi figure. But again that
wasn't from the corn. He just had rank. You just
had a I love Like blind box to give away.
Speaker 1 (01:43:42):
So I have that.
Speaker 2 (01:43:43):
I'll take that. A few of macky No.
Speaker 3 (01:43:45):
I like mak hockey is my favorite. Oh. We also
did a big watch long stream. You may have watched
it on Frisky sky channel. We watched eighty five hundred
arm stream, but we also watched the Marco Grand Prix
and Cook six offstream, and that was quite fun to
veg out and watch most sport as a big group
in our streamer house streamer AIRNB, which was quite fun.
(01:44:11):
In five hundred in particular was pretty entertaining. So that's funny,
and the last time we'll have I called it most
support Christmas because Monica Grand Prix CO six hundred and
five hundred typically falling the same day, but next year
and onwards for some time. I believe Monica will move
a week later at least, so that triple header doesn't
(01:44:31):
exist anymore, So last one of that for some time. Well,
that does mean that it's a bit easier to run
the world that I racing, because they don't clash as much,
which I'm happy about. We went up the CN Tower,
which I like to call the China Tower, but I
think it stands for something else. Probably the sea is Canada,
which is giant like it's like Turkish skytree, but in Canada.
(01:44:51):
And Jordan was carrying the Marai flag because later that
day in Niagara Falls where were going to take a
picture with it, and did so, but it got confiscated
by security. I guess you can't take any flags up
there to like, you know, put up a political message
or something. So Jordan had to collect that afterwards and
note down that it was a murai flag. I'm not
(01:45:14):
sure what they'll do with that information down that in
its details sounds funny if you use from up there
are really nice. And one of the interesting things about
Toronto that I didn't know is that apparently have a
name for this, but like, there's a lot of trees
in the city and you can see that when you
view it from above. You can see in between all
the buildings and blocks and stuff, there is a lot
(01:45:35):
of green over the entire like city scape, if you like,
which is pretty cool. Tokyo certainly is not like that.
Tokyo is just tarmac and buildings forever. We played Married Party,
so I got very mad at Married Party because it's
(01:45:55):
bullshit and it is bullshit because Married Party, I don't
I don't even know where I finished, and when I played,
probably very bad. I think lit one and Jordan finished second,
and Jordan went to get dry Queen before the end anyway,
which is quite nice. And we would go to nagrafold.
Who did take a picture? I think I least to
be edited and posted because I don't know if I've
(01:46:15):
got a personal tool yet. That's amazing. By the way, guy,
have you been to Niagara Falls? I think you have right?
Speaker 1 (01:46:22):
Hold on, hold on, can you hear me now? Yeah? Yeah, okay,
that's something that's going wrong with my head. I don't
know why. Yeah, no, I've been eyed falls. Yeah, I
went up with Well, actually, what side was I on?
Speaker 3 (01:46:36):
You're probably imagine, right, No, I was on the Canadian side.
Speaker 4 (01:46:39):
I think I'm trying to think because they always say
there's one side that's worse.
Speaker 3 (01:46:44):
The American side is the worst side.
Speaker 1 (01:46:46):
Yeah, if you're on the American side.
Speaker 3 (01:46:49):
Or the American side is the side with the falls,
so you can't really look at it, whereas from Canada
you can look at it from opposite it for more
of it at least.
Speaker 1 (01:47:01):
Yeah. Yeah, no, I mean I did. I did.
Speaker 3 (01:47:06):
If you were at the Canadian side, did you see
the incredibly corny town right.
Speaker 1 (01:47:09):
By it, what with like the huge casino and stuff?
Speaker 3 (01:47:14):
Well, is there a casino maybe, yeah, it's a massive building,
but they got really it's like it's like cheapass Las
Vegas kind of like signs and ship you know.
Speaker 1 (01:47:25):
Yeah. I was going to say it reminds me of
like a seaside.
Speaker 3 (01:47:28):
Like yeah, yeah, yeah, that's yeah, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (01:47:33):
Exactly. I remember.
Speaker 4 (01:47:37):
I remember when I went and I was I was
sort of looking around. I thought, well, and I was
saying thing, I was like this remising somewhere, and I'm like,
I don't want to be here.
Speaker 2 (01:47:46):
In a way.
Speaker 1 (01:47:47):
It's like this is actually like, yeah, it's really tacky
in a way, isn't it.
Speaker 3 (01:47:54):
I was really weirded out because we drove there. Obviously
I was driving. We went to a car park, right,
and then from the car park, we walked towards what
appears to be a theme park. You know, it gives
off that sort of vibe, right, and so I felt
like that was the car park for this tourist attraction.
(01:48:14):
Then I noticed says like cars driving through this, and
I'm like, like, guys, is this just like a town?
Is actually what this place looks like? And it's like, yeah,
this is just a place. It's obviously just a kind
of tourist trappy thing because it's right by Nagger Falls, right,
that's the exactly way. But I was like, wow, this
actually feels like it shouldn't be just a real place,
(01:48:35):
you know what I mean? But yeah, way to describe it.
Speaker 1 (01:48:41):
Sorry, did you take a did you do one of
the boat rides?
Speaker 2 (01:48:44):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:48:44):
No, we weren't there. No, that looks scary. There was
going right up to the point of it, and it
was like so I'm like, people do that, You're crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:48:56):
It looks because I.
Speaker 7 (01:48:59):
Went when the web was pretty bad anyway, so it
was already raining, and I'm looking down like, well, I
guess they're already soaked anyway, because they're right extra they're
going to get pelted by water.
Speaker 1 (01:49:10):
But I was like, it just looks cold and very uninviting.
I was like, I think I think I'll leave it,
thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:49:18):
It wasn't raining when we were there, but the closer
you get to the falls on the Canadians, yeah, of
course the water is hitting you on the top of it,
like you need to put your head up and avoid
the rain. Because even though it's not rain, did you
go right up to right by the edge of the
(01:49:40):
on by that building. That's amazing. I took a four
K video of that.
Speaker 1 (01:49:45):
Nice.
Speaker 3 (01:49:47):
Honestly, this is there's so much fucking water. I know
it's obvious, but I can't put into work seeing that
the power of it in person, like it's I don't
really know what to expect, but like I was like, wow, okay,
this is actually you know something where when you see
it for real, it's like I can see why people
(01:50:11):
talk about hecrophos.
Speaker 1 (01:50:12):
I guess exactly.
Speaker 3 (01:50:14):
It's actually quite impressive.
Speaker 1 (01:50:17):
That was cool. Yeah, oh good good, good times, good times.
Speaker 3 (01:50:22):
And I went to Hot Topic of the World in Canada.
Uh yeah, that was I kind of knew it was
like I don't know, you go there for emo fashion, right,
That's what I knew it as. But like, honestly, it's
because they have like have you ever been to one
(01:50:42):
guy when you were in.
Speaker 1 (01:50:45):
For some reason, I never saw one. I would have
if I saw it, but I never saw one.
Speaker 3 (01:50:50):
So well, there's like loads of like obviously like sort
of anime slash other pop culture t shirts, but then
like just actual merch and then there's like a slide
but just has straight up like emo type clothing, like
you know, red or white lad skirts and that type
of attire. And it's like, wow, this is like the
(01:51:12):
like I knew of the meme of Hot Topic, but
I didn't the real thing to truly be to be
the meme. Yeah, not to that level anyway, And it
really was funny.
Speaker 4 (01:51:25):
I mean it's strange because it's places that I feel like, like,
surely they went out of business years.
Speaker 1 (01:51:31):
Ago, because who who now dressed like an email anymore?
Like nobody right, that was all twenty ten or mad
to be honest, Yeah, adroid does, but pop nobody else does.
Speaker 2 (01:51:45):
You know.
Speaker 3 (01:51:47):
I feel like it's probably more popular than you think,
to be fair, but they got like pop cultures, merch
as well, and stuff like that's been getting more popular
over the years. Isn't it nerdy things being just cool?
Speaker 1 (01:52:00):
Well, apparently everyone loves it.
Speaker 2 (01:52:05):
It wasn't cool when we were.
Speaker 3 (01:52:08):
When we were.
Speaker 1 (01:52:12):
Paying again, know how much of that came through? Yeah
we heard it?
Speaker 3 (01:52:19):
Yeah, okay, good, Yes, I think that's most of what.
On both the flight out to Toronto and back from Toronto,
I had people sitting in my aisle who specifically asked
from the drinks trolley tomato juice?
Speaker 1 (01:52:39):
Oh? Why?
Speaker 3 (01:52:40):
I know? Apparently Canadians drink tomato juice?
Speaker 1 (01:52:43):
Why do they hate life so much? Like? I mean,
that's the videot.
Speaker 3 (01:52:50):
Does she drink tomato juice? That's funny because she's a vampire. Yes,
I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:52:58):
They can't get blood. They drink to much.
Speaker 3 (01:53:03):
I want to say of Toronto. A guy I watched
part of Lord of the Rings because the guy diagonally
in front of me was watching it with subtitles on his.
Speaker 1 (01:53:12):
Plane he's watching.
Speaker 3 (01:53:15):
I don't know, Okay, it's the main guy, Frodo.
Speaker 1 (01:53:19):
Well, yeah, one of the main characters, and.
Speaker 3 (01:53:22):
Like his companion on his trip. Maybe they arrived at
some place and he did a long speech about how
in battles they never gave up or something, they never
turned back and that's why this, that's why those stories
get told.
Speaker 1 (01:53:37):
I was like one of the best.
Speaker 3 (01:53:40):
Of the second It did look pretty good and like
it may have been a dramatic moment if I had sound.
Speaker 4 (01:53:56):
Like yeah, basically never go up and like the story
is the story be written about, you know, the victor
sort of thing, because it's such a huge thing undertaking
and it's just please watch watched.
Speaker 3 (01:54:10):
I also saw them knock on the door of some
tavern and they were asking for a Gandalf, but he
hadn't been seen for six months. Also it was Gandolf
on a horse leading thistch This guy watched. It was
(01:54:30):
in my peripheral vision, and he watched two of the films. Yes,
and the way someone started watching another one and I'm like,
and then on my right side side, I can see that.
Speaker 1 (01:54:43):
Films. Watch a plane, I thought, I well, I.
Speaker 3 (01:54:48):
Think I don't on the way back, nothing because I'll
try to sleep because that was overnight flight. So I
literally watched nothing and didn't even go on my switch.
On the way to I watched The spy X Family,
which was actually quite quite good anime good, and I
(01:55:08):
played Loopers from Key on my switch. So I played
a visual novel. I must continue that. I started that
in twenty twelve. Sorry, no, twenty twenty two. I didn't
play again into twenty twenty five, so I need to
continue that and finish it before I forget it again. No,
because it's I don't think a big good industry. It's
(01:55:31):
just a visual no and not not very popular one either,
and there's no choices or anything.
Speaker 2 (01:55:36):
So it's just well, you should have watched it and
you would have finished.
Speaker 1 (01:55:40):
All of that.
Speaker 3 (01:55:43):
Yeah, well I didn't think I didn't have time to
like download it, because I would have had to download it,
and and I was editing videos until I left.
Speaker 2 (01:55:54):
Yeah, you know, gotta be on that grind, you know, Yeah,
where you were or was it you left? And then
every and then the discorder pingsing or risk has posted video. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:56:05):
I queued over a week of shorts every day, and
I even uploaded I uploaded. Yeah, I mean I don't.
I don't do shorts anymore. I've said that before. However,
you know, I was away for a week, so I thought,
let's upload a bunch of twitch clips of shorts for
a week that they don't know. Okay, I guess no
(01:56:25):
no viral ones. But also I did upload the thrust
and four hour guide video while away. I edited that
and recorded it, and then while there I inserted the
two bits of information that I needed to wait for
and then export and published it while I even made
something else everything before I left, and just to go
on my laptop so on that grind.
Speaker 1 (01:56:50):
Oldmit get me.
Speaker 3 (01:56:52):
Yes, that's my Toronto trip. Oh, by the way, I
a m W Burger the fast free place has prepped
as coffee and kind of just saying I'm strange, I know,
apparently practice the thing in.
Speaker 1 (01:57:04):
Cand Did you get any of the first places the
way I.
Speaker 3 (01:57:08):
Went to a few? Yeah, an w I had breakfasting
there also had what did we have? Remember whether we
did have Chick fil a, which I just that's just
plain chicken.
Speaker 1 (01:57:23):
It wasn't.
Speaker 3 (01:57:26):
We saw that at least, but we did not buy that.
But I saw the bad milk, Yes, and as Frankie
always points out, the the Homo milk modernized milk. We
saw that too, uh, and I kind of a lot
of fast food into definitely was somewhere else we must
have gone. Surely we had breakfast. If I had what
(01:57:49):
I called it griddy, would they say it, Actually, I
don't like that. I don't know what you had, but
mine was like it was like pancake chicken berg basically,
it was like it was like Mapley as well. So yeah,
that was quite quite good, like the pancake burgers with
in Japan kind of, but I think it was better, yeah,
(01:58:14):
in Japan, because I knew. I didn't like the one
in Japan. I don't remember, but I didn't like the one.
It was like too too stodgy. I guess.
Speaker 1 (01:58:23):
I don't know. Oh, I want to be fair bad news.
But the state place by the start, so we have
to wrap up already.
Speaker 3 (01:58:30):
We should probably wrap Yeah. What are we streaming next week? Guys?
Speaker 1 (01:58:37):
Nothing? I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:58:40):
That game.
Speaker 3 (01:58:41):
I might want to stream some Oh when are you
assuming that when I put a schedule? Okay, look forward
to that and enjoying our discord to to know when
that gets posted. I'm sure there would be an event.
Otherwise we'll be back on Wednesday with a game perhaps Minecraft.
Speaker 2 (01:59:00):
Yeah, yes, Minecraft, because I want to hunt down for
some cherry trees.
Speaker 3 (01:59:08):
Interesting. I'll be back, you know. I'm tempted his stream
tomorrow because I'm doing some racing, but am I just
race off stream? Otherwise I'll be back on Saturday with
the Nurburg Green twenty four hours and on Sunday with
an IRL stream from Brand's hatch. I'll be at the
nest Car euro Series race and Riley may well be
joining me on stream, so look forward to that. Ayo, right? Cool?
Speaker 2 (01:59:35):
I put their name in the thing and their name
is Raindrop Lily, friend of mine. They're actually live this
that I can catch them on and they're playing yeniin Impact.
(01:59:56):
So yes, another blue head between another blue hair to
be too. And yeah, since it's wise, podcast will do
wis raid sure and I need to instigate it because
I'm typing it. I think that's just right? Yes, yeah,
(02:00:22):
ready when you are me and rescue off to watch
the Donda down season two film thing on Friday, and
he'll be back on Saturday with some racing. Maybe is
that what you said?
Speaker 3 (02:00:34):
I said Nubrigan twenty four on Saturday and i RL
from a stream from brands Hatch on Sunday.
Speaker 2 (02:00:39):
Yes, and I'll stream at some point, just keeping on
our discords.
Speaker 3 (02:00:43):
I'm not so sure.
Speaker 2 (02:00:44):
Yeah, all right, yes, alon z uber
