the four of them step out. The workshop is a
large square shaped field. The inner walls are embedded with

Whoa, Ashley, what are you doing?

Ashley flies directly above Jonah, holsters her antler guns, and
then claps her hands together.

the second level of the workshop.

Ashley squints her eyes towards down, then turns her attention
to Jonah.

They're splitting us up. This shield will hold for about

Ashley struggles to her feet. She charges at As the

of the workshop the shield protecting him is still holding up,

shield flickers and fades, and then cj approaches him with
a slow, swaggering confidence.
Speaker 6 (28:32):
Wooh, would you look at that? Never knew Donn had
that kind of mean streak. Right, of course, Ashley's adoption
probably has something.
Speaker 11 (28:43):

Speaker 8 (28:44):
Wait, Ashley's adopted Oh.
Speaker 6 (28:46):
You seriously didn't know. You think all that pluckiness and
positivity runs in our blood.
Speaker 8 (28:54):

sit back and let Dawn slaughter her up there?

Jonah stands to his feet and considers for a moment.
Ashley's shield is bound to break. If he steps out

land a surprise attack on his little brother. Quickly, Jonah
jumps into the air, then somersaults, rolling upward then forward,
exiting the shield of protection in the same motion. The

Speaker 2 (29:48):
Cj easily side steps the attack, smacking Joan in the
back of the head and cackling. Then he points at
the eyes of his helmet.
Speaker 6 (30:00):
These cameras predictive, AI. This suit has already seen everything
your spade dragon has to offer, So go ahead, keep
on swinging and keep on missing. You're gonna drain your
reserves to zero and I won't even need to attack you.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Undeterred, Jonah presses forward, rapidly, twirling the flaming sword with
expert precision. Jonah slashes over and over and over again,
but he can't manage to land a single blow. CJ
pushes him away, then blast him in the back with
an energy beam. Jonah goes down.
Speaker 6 (30:47):
Oh you know, for years I used to be so
jealous of you. I thought you were so brave, standing
up to Dad the way you did, ruining his plans
to have you take over Opus Corp.
Speaker 11 (31:04):
But then I realized it was the opposite. You weren't
brave or strong. You ran away, left us, left.
Speaker 6 (31:15):

leap in front of Jonah and repel the blast.

Dawn steps forward, her typical poise, seemingly rattled for the
very first time in her lifej.
Speaker 7 (34:34):
Please please tell me you didn't kill our father.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
CJ looks up at the ceiling of the workshop, closing
his eyes and reflecting on the last time that he
saw his father. He can remember the smell of the
hospital room, the cold, chill in the air, his father
resting peacefully, not berating him, not humiliating him, not making
(35:06):
him feel like the worst person in the whole world.
So peaceful. What if this peace could last forever? And
that's when he saw the syringe next to his father's bed.
Speaker 6 (35:24):
C J answer me, Winning, he's sweet, but winners are cool.
Speaker 14 (35:38):

Speaker 7 (35:40):
I don't believe you.
Speaker 6 (35:41):

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Ashley steps over to Jonah and helps him to his feet.
Speaker 4 (35:50):

I thought you said Dad wouldn't approve of three against one.

As CJ mumbles to himself, the other three Opus siblings
regard each other, nodding with the silent acknowledgement that something
inside of their brother was truly broken there. Dawn gathers herself.
Speaker 5 (36:46):
It's going to take the three of us to beat him.
His finisher is one of the strongest in the Alpha division.
More importantly, those AI cameras can predict our attacks. However,
there is a spot where on the top level of
a suit's cervical spine, where the helmet connects to the
rest of the armor.
Speaker 7 (37:07):
I can get to it, but I'll need you to
to draw his attention.
Speaker 8 (37:10):
Sounds like a plan.
Speaker 7 (37:11):
Let's do it.
Speaker 2 (37:12):
The three of them attack together. CJ evades every attack,
dodges every projectile, moving and swaying with effortless technique. No
matter how hard they tried, none of them, Dawn, Ashley
Jonah could lay a hand on CIJ. His suit is

just too powerful.
Speaker 6 (37:39):
Clays over.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
CJ grabs Dawn by her throat. As he lifts her up.
Jonah comes running behind him with his sword.

Spade, Dragon Flash.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
Jonah leaps into the air, twirling dynamically in the spiral
of flames, this hearting from his blade. CJ steps forward.
His AI cameras have predicted a counter attack.
Speaker 6 (38:08):
Oh, dear big brother, We've seen this before, and we
know how the story ends.
Speaker 9 (38:18):
However, the.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
Spade Dragon exo suit detaches itself from Jonah's body. The
pieces of Jonah's suit fly directly into CJ's face, covering
up each of his AI camera eyes.
Speaker 9 (38:41):
Now Dawn.
Speaker 2 (38:45):
Flood extraction, Don's talon clawed hands glow with violent red energy.
She jams them into the back panel of exosuit, directly
into CJ's blind spot, ripping out its core and shutting
(39:05):
him down.
Speaker 9 (39:06):
Spade Dragon retrieval.
Speaker 2 (39:10):
The Spade Dragon reattaches itself to Jonah. Ashley approaches him.
Speaker 4 (39:15):
That's pretty cool. I didn't know Finishers could do that.
Speaker 8 (39:19):
HiT's a little trick that Dad worked into the earlier
Finisher models.
Speaker 2 (39:25):
Meanwhile, Don stands over CJ, her eyes bursting with fury.
She rips off the helmet of CJ's suit, then shapes
her hand into a red glowing blade. She points it
at CJ's neck.
Speaker 8 (39:41):
Hey, that's enough, Dawn, back off. He's done.
Speaker 4 (39:44):
Why should she he killed dad?
Speaker 8 (39:46):
He says he killed dad. CJ says a lot of things.
Speaker 4 (39:49):
Why would he lie about that?
Speaker 7 (39:51):
Because he wants to die. He wants us to kill him. Oh,
CJ was our father?
Speaker 9 (40:00):

Speaker 15 (40:05):
You're such as was such a disappointment. Your mother would
still be alive if not for you, would you possibly

Don lowers her glowing hand, then backs away from c J.
As he lays his head down to weep. Jonah gestures
an open hand towards his brother.

out of here, out from Dad's influence. Who's driving me insane?
Look what it did to c J. Look what it's
doing to us right now, all for some legacy that
we didn't even ask for. It's time for us to
move on from all of this. It was hard for

meet him officially, but I will not bring him anywhere

Speaker 4 (41:27):

Ashley, No, Don, what are you doing?
Speaker 5 (42:28):
The Opus Family Battle Royale will continue until only one
finisher remains active.
Speaker 7 (42:34):

Speaker 5 (42:36):
If we want this to end, then we have to
see this through until its final conclusion, as our father intended.
Speaker 8 (42:43):
Down You're still caught up in Dad's crap. But I'm
telling you it doesn't have to be this way.
Speaker 7 (42:49):

Speaker 5 (42:54):
Look, Jonah, you found happiness and I am delighted for you,

bout of the Opus family battle Royale. The two of
them began to fall back into old combat patterns that
they used to practice together as children. Their father watching
over them as they performed their violent Beautiful Dance, a

dance of light and energy of technique and impact of
metal and memories. This realization brought a smile to Jonah's face,
despite the near infinite sea of resentment that he harbored
for his father, because these relationships with his brother and sisters,

for better or worse, are a part of him. Down
and Jonah each land their final attack.

Speaker 2 (45:46):
Down goes down first. The blood orchest power Corps has
been depleted to zero. However, Jonah has taken significant damage
as well. He falls to his knees and crawls towards down.

All right, Jonah, a few ever earned the victory the company.
The assets are now yours. It was always supposed to
be you anyway. By my calculations, the Spade Dragon still
has about three percent of its core energy left. The

Speaker 8 (46:39):

any of us. And that's why that's why I'm gonna

behind together.

so we would establish a path forward together.

Jonah takes her by the hand.

Don nods back. Then Jonah flips a switch on his
exo suit and the Spade Dragon powers down. Both suits
are depleted to zero. The four of them, Don, Jonah,
c J, and Dashley stand to their feet. The elevator

doors of the workshop open. They regard each other for
a moment, and then Jonah makes his way towards the exit.
Following him is CJ and behind him is Ashley. Down
takes a final view of the workshop, observing the debris

left behind from the battle. Damage finishes, and then she
enters the elevator and the four Opus siblings leave together.
