Speaker 1 (00:00):
Las Vegas, Nevada. It's time for straight talk and real solution.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
We're breaking down the issues that matter to you with
no spend, just the truth from the strip to mainstream.
We're keeping it real for hard working Americans.

Speaker 1 (00:15):
This is Talk with a Conservative, Open conversation, with intelligent explanation.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Las Vegas and Nevada, let's talk. Welcome to talk with
a Conservative. I'm Garland Brinkley, actually doctor Brinkley and the
doctors for a PhD in economics. I ran for SIMPI
District one in twenty twenty two and again in twenty
twenty four. I'm a retired university professor.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
And I'm Patricia Brinkley and I ran for Senate District
one in North Las Vegas, and I'm an attorney it
law and welcome to talk to Talk with a Conservative.
Our number to night is seven zero two two two one,
seven to eighty three, and if you are unable to
get through on the telephone line, we do have an

(01:05):
email and that is TWAC Radio Show at gmail dot com.
If your question is received before the end of today's show,
we'll answer your question. However, if not, we will address
it at the beginning of our next show, and tonight
we are we have one end guest, one studio guest,

(01:28):
and her name is Guadalupe Reyes and we'll be getting
to her in a minute. She's running for the political
director of this Clark County Republican Party, and I just
wanted to let our listeners know that last week at
our town hall, I was shocked because a lot of
people did not realize that there was a Clark County

(01:51):
Republican Party, and so I just wanted them to tune
in tonight and find out a little bit more more
about the organization how they can join. And so we
want to make sure that everyone knows about the Clark
County Republican Party and they're going to be having an
election tomorrow. So that's why Miss Guadalupe Radies has joined

(02:14):
us this evening, and as a special treat we've invited
all the other candidates running for offices with the CCRP
to call in. So this should be an interesting show.
So let's get started. Tonight. We are joined by our
first in studio guests, Guadaloupe Avrias, and she's running for

(02:36):
political director. She also ran for Assembly District forty one
twice and is currently the CCRP Precinct Captain from last
March and to the present, and she was also the
Election Integrity Regional Field director for the Trump campaign in

(02:57):
last year's election. Welcome Guadaloupe.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Thank you Patricia and Garland for inviting me. I think
it's a pleasure to be.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Here and it's a pleasure to have you. And again,
our number is seven zero two two two one seven
two eight three or email TWAC Radio Show at gmail
dot com Guadalupe.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
First question, have you read the bylaws as it pertains
to the position of political director?

Speaker 3 (03:26):
Well, the bylaws is quite an extensive packet. I myself,
I've dug a little bit into it, but it's still
so extensive. I mean, we have a signal chat just
dedicated to bylaws. So I would say I've read a
little bit of it, but I wouldn't say I've read

(03:46):
all of it.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Do you think your previous experiences has prepared you for
the position of political director?

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I believe yet that it's set the path for me
to be the political director. I started out four years
ago as a volunteer door knocking, completely into grassroots getting
the vote out for various candidates, and then I got
so inspired that I ran for office myself twice. As
you said, the first time, I really just wanted to

(04:14):
know how the process worked, like how does somebody become elected?
And so I just went down to the courthouse, put
my one hundred bucks down and I was like, I'm in.
Had no idea what I was doing. So of course
I did not win. Wasn't a surprise. But then I
decided to run again because I was like, Okay, the

(04:35):
first time, I had no idea what I was doing.
This time around, I had a little bit more money,
had a little bit more experience, had more of that
grassroots under the table with me, and still had that passion.
So I was like, all right, let's do this again.
And so I had my church with me and people
who really supported me throughout my campaign. And I love

(04:58):
the campaign that I ran. I didn't win, of course,
the primary, but I was very happy with the way
that I rent my campaign.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
And so, if I remember right, Patricia and I were
at your kickoff for that. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn,
and so it's like, even if you don't win, your
learning and learning and learning. When we looked at your
bio on the CCRP website. We saw that you were

(05:28):
a realtor and a former vice chair at the Las
Vegas chapter of Moms for Liberty. Anything you want to
add to that.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Well, real estate is my day job. My civilian job
pays the bills. I do love it, though, And I
was a former chair of Moms for Liberty, which it
was an honor to be a vice chair, and I
loved working with those women, and so I had to
make a decision, and I wanted what was best for

(05:58):
Moms for Liberty, and my path with becoming political director
and other things kind of got in the way. So
I thought it was better just to step down and
let them have full reigns of it. So that's why
I am the former vice chair of Moms for Liberty.
But it was an honor to serve with those women,
and we're still friends to this day, and I want
to work with them as political director to see what

(06:19):
we can what we can do with Moms for Liberty
and all the other coalitions.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Okay, I just want to remind our listeners our number
again is seven zero two two two one seven two
a three or email us at TWAC Radio Show at
gmail dot com and callers if you call and the
line's busy, please call back because we will get to you.
So we had two previous callers and they well, just

(06:46):
call back please, Okay, So, Quadalupe, I just wanted to know.
According to the Clark County Republican Party bylaws, the political
director is to at ublish a strategic plan. Do you
have a plan in mind that you would like to implement?

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (07:09):
I do. Actually, I think I'm the only candidate that
has a three plan strategy. I've been actively working with
my team and implementing that strategy since January. So my
strategy basically consists of of analyzing the numbers the districts,
seeing which districts are flippable. Right now it's eight, ten,

(07:31):
and twelve, so we need to focus on those districts.
Also is voter registration, so it in order for us
to flip those districts, we need to get our broader
registration out in Republicans so to turn out the vote.
And so right now in Nevada, we have a lot
of we have Democrats Republicans and then we have the partisans.
So right now we're pretty much equal on Democrats Republicans

(07:54):
and the partisan voters block is getting bigger, and so
one of my strategies is to turn over those partisans
into Republicans.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
So I noticed also that another duty of the political
director is to recruit candidates. Have you heard of Dolly
Madison Projects and the Leadership Institute.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
I have heard of the Leadership Institute, and I think
that they're a great institute. And one of the things
that my team and I have been talking about as
far as recruiting, as far as recruiting candidates, as having
the idea of having a candidate farm, bringing in new
candidates from the districts that we know that are flippable,

(08:43):
so that way we have new blood into CCRP and
we're not having the same candidates over and over again.

Speaker 1 (08:50):
Okay, we do have a caller and caller okay, So okay,
go ahead. So we're this is talk with a Conservative
you're listening to. And the number again is seven zero
two two two one seven two eight three or email

(09:13):
us at TWAC Radio Show at gmail dot com.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Get Ready, football bags. The Los Angeles Revs are back
at their hungrier than ever. In the City of a Jeli,
where stars shine bright, a new chapter rug holds on
a gridired buckle up because the ReBs are about to electrify.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
Oh.

Speaker 5 (10:01):
Los Angeles Rams games can be heard right here on
KSHB AM fourteen hundred and one of seven point one
fl Los Angeles rams were all sponsored by Steiner's Berg,
a trune of better style pub.

Speaker 1 (10:18):
You're tuned into talk with a conservative for reason still
rules and free speech still matters.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Stay with us more truth, more insight, and more straight
talk coming up next. Email us at Track Radio show

two one seven two eight three. So you know we
actually do shout outs here and so you can actually
have your special birthdays anniversaries mentioned on the show three

(10:50):
times for modest f and it's KSHP fourteen hundred AM
one O seven point one FM. And also I want
to mention our Conservative Town Hall of North Ast Vegas
which is eleven forty five to one thirty at one
eight seven zero West Craig Road in North Ast Vegas.

(11:11):
It's no host. The next meeting is August seventh. It's
always the first Thursday of every month. Our main speaker
this time on August seven is Cody Whipple and he's
a candidate for CD four. You don't want to miss it.
We have great guests. There's a great chance to meet
Cody and get to know him. Call in with your

(11:31):
questions at seven oh two two two one seven two
a three or track radio Quack Radio Show at gmail
dot com, or you can do it x at Quack
Radio Show.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
Okay, so we have three callers on the line right now,
and our first caller is Stan Vaughn and stand with hello.
Are you there?

Speaker 7 (11:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (11:57):
Okay, So you have a minute and a half basically
to say, tell our listeners your name, with the office
you're running for, and why they should vote for you.

Speaker 7 (12:10):
Okay, very good? Is this Patricia, Yes, it is Okay.
So my name is Stan Vaughn, and I'm running for
the CCRP Clark County Republican Party chairmanship. Part of the
reasons why people should vote for me, I'd like to
point out a couple of issues. For example, Jill Douglas,

(12:34):
who's one of the persons that is running. She ran
for State Senate sys and the way that she conducted
her campaign if you compare it to yours, for example.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Please, I'm sorry you need to talk about why people
should vote for you. I don't want you talking about
other candidates. This is your time, use it to your advantage.

Speaker 7 (12:59):
Please, Okay, Well, I mean you should vote for me because,
as they said, one of the ideas is that my
opponents want to hire and supervise paid staff, and most
people are not aware of the NRS three fifty three
D requires employers with paid staff as of July first,

(13:22):
twenty twenty five to pay individual retirement accounts. We simply
don't have the money for that. I'm an accountant with
an acquiring background, and I think it's very important to
see how other candidates that run their campaign as you know,
as prepared to mine, or other people who have run

(13:42):
it on a very good home.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
You've got a couple of these followers. Thank you very
much for calling.

Speaker 7 (13:49):
All right, you're okay.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
Our next caller is Randa Kennedy. Randa Baldwin Kennedy, and
are you on the line round it? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (14:00):
Yes, hi, Patricia, thanks for having me.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
Good, You're welcome. So why don't you tell the listeners
your name, what office you're running for, and brief statement
as to why they should vote for you. Please.

Speaker 6 (14:15):
Yes, my name is Ronda Kennedy. I'm running for the
CCRP secretary position, and I think people should vote for
me because the by laws really do need to be overhauled,
and as an attorney, I can do that. There's a
lot of conflicting by laws that conflict with each other,

(14:36):
and there are some that are very ambiguous, so that's
the first thing we need to do is clean it up. Also,
I ran several I was a corporate counsel for several
large corporations, which means I made sure that their bylaws
were in order, that the board meetings ran smoothly, and
that they were all in compliance with all of the regulations.

(14:58):
So this will be piece of cake for me. And
I'm also I'm very very push back, so if anybody
is having any problems or anything of that sort, I
have no problems with calling them out. So John Kennedy
for Therapy Sectary.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
Thank you, and Rod do you have a question for
our insta.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
Yes, I just want to say, so with picking candidates,
are you going to pick the candidate with the most
money or you're going to pick the candidate that can
win the general.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
I'm going to I'm going to pick the candidate that
has the greatest path to victory.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Very well, all right, jes thank you, thank you.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
A quick question for you, Uh, CHRISI and I and
we're out here in north West Vegas. Do you know
who you're going to get?

Speaker 8 (15:58):
Sorry?

Speaker 1 (15:59):
Can you repeat the quest? Are you going to be
recruiting candidates in the Las Vegas area?

Speaker 9 (16:03):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Yes, I would say any candidates, especially in districts that
we need Republicans in that are flippable. That is part
of the farm that I was talking about is going
into these communities picking out candidates with that passion who
want to be part of the CCRP and really want
to see change. So whether it be North Las Vegas, Henderson,

(16:26):
as long as they have that passion and want to
be a candidate, I will help them.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
In the past, it seems like the party has just
felt like North Las Vegas was a lost cause and
they have not really outreached to them. So how will
you change them?

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Well, I believe in working with the coalitions and building
up the engagement in those communities because we need to
go in there not as Republicans but as members of
the community and using the coalitions like MAHA and and
all the other ones to get everyone involved. So it's
not just about politics. They can actually get to know

(17:05):
each other and know up that engagement before we ask
for their vote.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
All right, we're going to go back to the line
and we have our next caller is Bob Olsen.

Speaker 10 (17:16):
Hello, Bob, Hey, Patricia Garland.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
How you doing.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
We're well, how are you doing?

Speaker 2 (17:23):
Good?

Speaker 1 (17:23):
Okay, So the format is give your name, the office
you're running for, and why the voters should vote for you.
Go ahead, Bob.

Speaker 10 (17:32):
My name is Bob Olsen. I'm running for the Park
County Republican Party chair position, and the reason you should
vote for me is I'm new blood. I'm not part
of the old feud that's going on. I'm not bringing
any of the baggage in and I got new bold
ideas and small night. I will deliver my plan to
the CCRP and hopefully everybody votes for me.

Speaker 1 (17:52):
Well, thank you, Bob. Do you have a question for Guadalupees.

Speaker 10 (17:55):
Yeah, I do, Guadaalope.

Speaker 11 (17:59):
I'm glad you run.

Speaker 10 (18:01):
When you said you picked you're going to pick the candidates,
when do you picking the candidates? That's the first part
of the question.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Well, I don't see you as picking the candidates, but
I do see that there are more There are certain
areas that are more flippable than other districts, So those
ones is where we're going to be focusing on.

Speaker 10 (18:20):
Okay, So anybody can run for in the office that
they choose to and as the political officer, how do
you plan on vetting them?

Speaker 3 (18:30):
Well, the whole path is I'm going to look at
the district of what each candidate is running for, analyze
the numbers, analyze the demographics, and see if that candidate
has a path to victory. It's always going to be
up to the candidate whether or not to run. And
I would as being a candidate myself, and be people
telling me that not to run. I would never tell
anybody a candidate they couldn't run, but I will let

(18:53):
them know what their path to victory is and whether
or not they want to make that choice.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
The priority. Oh okay, Bob, thank you for the question.
We have other callers on the line. Thank you for
calling in. Okay. Caller is Jill Douglas.

Speaker 9 (19:12):
Hello, Jill, Hey the mission Garland. How are you tonight?

Speaker 1 (19:17):
Will thank you for calling, and the drill is give
your name, the office you're running for, and a brief
reason why the voters should vote for you. Go ahead, Jill.

Speaker 11 (19:28):
Great.

Speaker 9 (19:29):
Well, I'm Jill Douglas and I'm going to be the
next chair of the Clark County Republican Party. And the
reason I'm running is because it's time to make Clark
County win again. Our mission is urgent. He simply, we
have to conservatives who champion our values on our platforms,
and to get there, we need more than just the
business as usual. We have to have bold leadership, fresh ideas,

(19:49):
and a real work ethic, and I bring all three
of those. The bottom line is we have to have
fundraising at Juels victory, we have to unite the party
to fight the left. We have to implement a real grassroots,
results driven strategy. And the bottom line is when Republicans win,
our community wins. And I will work alongside all of
our talented Clark County Central Committee members so that we

(20:11):
can get the job done and we can build a big,
beautiful party again.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Thank you, Jill. Do you have a question for Guadalupe.

Speaker 9 (20:22):
When you when you think about where we are right now,
what do you think is our largest priority between now
and when when filing starts in March.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
I think right now is getting the right candidates, peaking
those candidates, getting the voters registered, getting them ready for
the next election, and getting our volunteers ready to volunteer.
Also getting everyone just granped up for a mid term
so that we can get more Republicans elected.

Speaker 9 (20:53):
Right, and we've got we've got some districts that have
really close voter registration. Are you working to help us
shrink to shrink that gap?

Speaker 3 (21:03):
Yeah, So me and my team have been doing voter
registrations at gun shows, d m vs, local fairs, carnivals,
just attacking those low propensity voters, getting the message out
that even between elections, we still need to know registration
is important.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (21:24):
We all know firsthand that it's difficult to put yourself
out there, so appreciate your willingness.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Thank you Jill for your call.

Speaker 2 (21:33):

You're listening to talk with the conservative tradition meets truth.
Stay with us. More truth, more insight, and more straight
talk coming up next.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
And we are here with Guadalupe Rez. She's running for
a political director for the Clark County Republican Party. And
on the phone right now we have Rob Rob. Are
you there?

Speaker 11 (27:40):
I am How are yousha?

Speaker 1 (27:42):
I'm well Rob, how are you so? Robert? You know
the drill. You give your name, you tell what office
you're running for, and you have about a minute to
convince our listeners to vote for you. So go ahead.

Speaker 11 (27:58):
Well, that's terrific. Thank you for the opportunity. My name
is Rob Mighty and I'm a candidate for vice chair
of the CCRP. As I think your audience knows. We
have the election tomorrow night, and that night will frankly,
help determine the future of the Republican Party and the
conservative movement in Clark County. For two terms, about four years,

(28:22):
we've had leaders that have accomplished some things. I suppose
it's fair, but they have not done what is necessary
to win at the state and local level. In fact,
today we have less power, fewer elected officials that are
Republicans than we did six years ago, and yet the
current chair calls that momentum. I'm writing as part of

(28:43):
a group, part of a slap that includes Guadalupe and
Jill Douglas, Eddie Facey and Perry Tiggaman because we want
to take a different approach. We want to emphasize winning
at all levels. We want to put the party on
a sound financial basis. We want to be able to
pay our bills. Currently are our headquarters as a ups store.
In fact that we just think we can do better.

(29:05):
So I would encourage all the people who want a
brighter future for the state, for our community to get
involved in politics, to take a lot of the Republican Party.
And if you remember to show up and support us
tomorrow night at the CCIP meeting.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Thank you, Rob, and also any Republicans out there are
free to come to the meeting also.

Speaker 1 (29:26):
And also Rob, did you have a question for Guadalupe or.

Speaker 11 (29:34):
I just wanted to say that Guadalupe, have you talked
with the audience about some of the achievements you have
already made? Him in Guadalupe is somebody who's been basically
doing the job of political director for quite some time now.

Speaker 3 (29:48):
Yeah, I've spoken a little about what my team and
I have done as far as voter registrations, spreading the
message and word, how we've been at DMVs and the
gun show. Just really putting in the work because I'm
not here just to say I want to be political director.
I'm actually doing the work because that is what I

(30:09):
want to do. And as a political director, you have
to take an initiative. You have to have a plan,
a strategy, and focus and that's what I bring.

Speaker 1 (30:19):
So thank you Rob for calling in and we appreciate it.

Speaker 11 (30:22):
Well, I know that everyone's looking forward to tomorrow. We
appreciate your giving us a chance.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
You're welcome. Okay, we did have one email from a
from a Diane Leviton and I'll read the email and Guadalupe,
if you can answer it. Do you think CCRP should
help Clark County grassroots candidates fundraise, especially if they've gone
through CCRP campaign training And thank you Diane for the question.

Speaker 3 (30:53):
Yes, Diane, thank you for that question. I'm going to
go back to my experiences when I was a candidate.
It would have helped if the CCRP would have helped
with fundraising, not exactly as far as like donating to
my campaign but just show us how to fundraise, teach
us what to say, turn us into a direction of
maybe how to get sponsorship, just some type of direction.

(31:17):
And as a candidate, we received no help at all.
There was no initiative, There was no sense that we
want to get more Republicans elected.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
So yes, And so I asked you previously about the
Dollary Madison Project and the learning, the learning the Leadership
Institute training, because when Garland and I were running, I
took training through the Dolly Madison Project and they were
actively looking for female candidates. And during the time when

(31:48):
Garland ran the first time, he took training candidate training
through the Leadership Institute. And so I think those are
two two different programs that can be offered to the
candidates here. And I'm just wondering why other people. You know,
when we took the Leadership Institute training, they were begging

(32:11):
for candidates to come. They came out here and they
paid for everything. And so because they didn't get the response,
they it was a two week training program, but they
just canceled the second week because people weren't showing up.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Well, I would have I would have loved to take
that class if I would have known if the CCRP
would have grabbed onto anything like that and would have
just showed it to us and given it to us
as an option as a candidate.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
So I'm thinking as a political director, those are two
organizations that you really, whoever's going to be the political director,
they need to reach out to them because they are
willing to share that information with our candidates.

Speaker 3 (32:47):
And I think that's a great idea. You know, if
I would have known about that sooner, I definitely would
have been involved. And I think that's the thing too,
There's there's not that information out there for candidates. It's
kind of like you're thrown out to the walls and
just got figure it out.

Speaker 2 (33:01):
Voter registration is part of your duties. Now I understand
you're a certified voter registration.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
Person field registrar cor.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Okay, and you've had special training for that from the
Secretary of State. Correct, Yes, okay, t us a little
bit about that.

Speaker 3 (33:17):
Yeah, So me and my well, I decided to me
and my team to get registered as a field registrar
because it just makes it a little bit easier when
you're out in the field. You have those credentials, you
look professional, and then you can go in places that
are nonpartisan, so you can really just go out there
just for the mission of getting people registered and you're

(33:38):
not out there affiliated with the party, which helps in
getting voter registration, it helps them not getting kicked out
as well. That's what I mostly mean by credentials.

Speaker 2 (33:47):
Okay, audience, so you know you can email us at
Twack Radio Show at gmail dot com. You can do
a shout out and we'll take care of that. And
you're shout out for like birthdays, anniversaries, graduations. We'll mention
three times during the show. Don't forget our Conservative town
Hall of North Ast Vegas. It's August seventh at eighteen

(34:12):
seventy West Craig Road in north West Vegas. It's a
no host lunch. That means you can have anything you want,
but you have to pay for it. You don't want
to miss it. And our next speaker there's going to
be coded Whimple Whipple, who's the candidate for CD four
Calling with your questions. It's seven oh two two two
one seven two eighty three. You need to put that

(34:33):
in your speed dial so you can dial fast and
keep calling it. You can't get through just there in
the line. Keep calling. You can do Gmail at Twackradio
Show at gmail dot com or x at at Twackradio Show.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Okay, so callers please call in UH and the candidates
because we still have a few more candidates that they
have said that they would call in. They haven't done
so already, So you have a little less than twenty
minutes to call in. So Guadalipe, your bile states that
you your plan is to analyze state and Assembly racis,

(35:12):
so I identify wonderful districts. Have you ever compiled and
analyzed data before to achieve electoral victory?

Speaker 3 (35:22):
I used it in my campaign, but as you know,
I was not victorious, but I'm not going to blame
that on the numbers. There were other factors involved, but
I have I think analyzing the numbers in the district
is very important because we need to know the demographics,
the age, and who to market to a who are
we representing? And I think that's very important, and that's

(35:44):
one of the reasons why there's certain districts eight, nine,
and twelve that I see that are the most flippable,
the best pass to victory.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
So how did you get that information? Did you hire
someone to run the numbers, crunch the numbers for you,
or you did it yourself. And if you did it yourself,
how did you learn to do that? Well?

Speaker 3 (36:01):
I have a really good person on the WCC organization
named Jeff Waffle. He does a lot of the analyzing numbers.
He's more of the it on that side. So I
basically tell him what I'm looking for, what demographics, age race,
and then he pulls up those numbers, and then I

(36:21):
use it to see to get the numbers of which
seats are flippable.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
Okay, And I just want to give get back to
north Las Vegas because during the twenty twenty two election
and the twenty twenty four election, Garland ran in both
of those. I ran in twenty twenty four, and it
just seems like Las Vegas is such a forgotten wasteland.
I mean, how are we going to change them?

Speaker 3 (36:49):
Well, we need to change it by changing our party.
We need to change it by having new chairmen. We
need to make a name for ourselves here in Clark County,
and not in a negative way, but in a positive way.
And I think by doing that is by bringing in
new blood to the CCRP, bringing in a new voter block,

(37:10):
and Maha is an example. Those people are looking for
a new place. They used to be Democrats, but they're
not exactly Republicans, but they still have our values. They
still share the same values as us. So I think
that's a new voting block that we can bring into
the CCRP to change the culture that we have.

Speaker 4 (37:27):
Now.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
Okay, so we have a caller caller, Hello.

Speaker 4 (37:31):
Hey, how you doing? This is Al Rojas.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
Hello, Al, how are you pretty good?

Speaker 4 (37:36):
How you guys going? I am? I have my alarm
set for every Monday at six thirty, So my alarm
went off and I remember to call you guy calling
a listener to the show.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Okay, thank you, we appreciate that. Sol. What's your question?

Speaker 4 (37:52):
Well, my question is you know we've what is the
one LUPUS plan to get candidates into some of these
races that nobody wants to They were vacant. Now, Bob Olsen,
the numbers were way against him. We all knew it
was going to be hard for him to win. He
showed a lot of energy, he showed a lot of enthusiasm,

(38:12):
and though although he didn't win, I'm sure he brought
up the percentages at least three to five or six points,
which if we were to do that across the county,
that would make the difference in a lot of races
that are going to be statewide, especially for governor.

Speaker 1 (38:26):
Can I just inject? Could I interject my thoughts of sure? Also,
he had in that slate for a Senate District one,
he had Patricia Brinkley running, who helped him with his
numbers in eighty seventeen. So I just wanted that to
be known to the world. But they'll have it.

Speaker 4 (38:45):
I'm sorry. Okay, I couldn't make that out because I'm
on a bat phone. But anyways, the point is this
is that what are you going to do to get
candidates in every race? Assembly District twenty eight, Assembly District fourteen,
which are generally in my general location? Okay, well what

(39:09):
are you going to do?

Speaker 15 (39:10):
And those those races may those candidates may not win,
but they they might make the difference to getting Joel
Lombardo with what's your answer for all these how are
we going to get candidates in every race?

Speaker 4 (39:22):
What's your plan for that?

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Thank you Al for your question. Yeah, thank you, Al.

Speaker 3 (39:26):
And I think I touched on it briefly when I
was talking about having a candidate farm, which is bringing
in new candidates. So what that means is going into
these districts like you were talking about fourteen twenty eight,
building the voter engagement and finding people with the passion
who want to be candidates who live in that neighborhood already,
who've really who've already established rapport with their community. That way,

(39:50):
we're not just running somebody who just moved there, or
somebody who doesn't, who doesn't resonate with that community. That way,
that candidate already knows community, that community already knows them,
and they have a better path to victory.

Speaker 1 (40:04):
Thank you, Wata Lupie, and you're listening to talk with
a conservative.

talk coming up next.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
And I have one last question for our guests. Are
you going to encourage Republican candidates that run in a
primary when they do not win that primary to support
the primary winner? Yes?

Speaker 3 (41:41):
I know it's really hard because I was in that position,
and so even at the polls when I was voting
for my opponent, it pained me. But as a Republican,
the goal is to get more Republicans elected, and we
need to support each other. And that's the only way

(42:03):
that we're going to get each one of us in
those seats.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
But you were honest with your answer, But how are
you Are we going to encourage candidates that do not
win the primary to support the winner? I mean, like
you said, it is difficult.

Speaker 3 (42:16):
It is, it is, And I think the way that
we can get everyone involved is just to bring everyone
together in events, invite everyone, not have these little clicks
that we usually have in the Republican Party.

Speaker 1 (42:29):
Just make it more welcoming.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
That way, we get that support from every organization within
the Republican Party.

Speaker 2 (42:36):
Okay, I want to thank all the callers tonight, So
the people called and so you know, we invited all
the candidates running for the ccr PCC for the executive board.
So thank you Gio Douglas, Bob Olsen, Stan Vaughn, Robminey,
Ronda Baldwin, Kennedy, Diane and our rojast and of course

(43:01):
our guests tonight.

Speaker 1 (43:04):
Yes, thank you Wadaloupe for coming on the show and
sharing your vision for what you hope the cc RP
will become if elected. And so I just want our
listeners to realize that tomorrow there is the election for
the Clark County Republican Party. You must if you must
be living under a rock, if you haven't seen all

(43:26):
the social media in the newspaper and on our radio
show for the past two week. And we would just
like to thank all the candidates that did take the
time to come in and let their position be known
about what they plan to do to improve our county party.
And so on that note, we just want to be Oh, Guadalupe,

(43:51):
do you have any final thoughts for comments?

Speaker 3 (43:54):
Actually yes, so I believe I would be the best
choice for political director just because I've already been doing
the work. I've built the team, i have a strategy
which encompasses voter registration, recruitment and precinct development. So with
the experience and my vision and strategy, I'm the best

(44:14):
choice for political director.

Speaker 1 (44:16):
Thank you Ladalupe, and thank you callers that couldn't get
through and our email question and all our guests this evening.
We appreciate you. God, bless America, Bless you.
