Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to talk with tars. I'm your host, Socket Teresa Smith,
Doctor Tarz.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
I have Dennis Perkins with me today. Dennis is an author.
Speaker 1 (00:09):
You know, he's an former educator, former state consultant. Dennis's
mission in life has been to uplift other people.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
And so he's written a.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
New book which is called Elevation Preparation for Elevation, Ascension
in God's Kingdom. And so we started talking about his
work and how we can ascend to God's Kingdom, or
as I like to say, how can we align what
we're doing with God's purpose for our life?
Speaker 2 (00:44):
And so Dennis.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
I want to I want to jump right in and
seeking clarity.
Speaker 3 (00:57):
I am Lord.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Dennis. You're right, we all are seeking clarity.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
And the worst thing that you can do is to
think you have all the answers. You know, guys now
were dropping gyms already. I said to my students who
are going through their caps on process, I said, it's
an exercise in humility.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
What does that mean? You don't have all the answers.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
You don't have all the answers. You have to be
open to someone helping you. And until you are able
to make that shimp, you stay stagnant, you stay in
the same place. Well, that's for all of us because
we have to be open. The first thing is to
understand I don't have all the answers because we're.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
Not gone, so we don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:47):
So we are always seeking clarity in our role.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
That's our role with it could be your family, your job, a.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
Career, school children, whatever, we're all always seek our spiritual life.
We're always seeking that clarity in our role if we
are to elevate, because if we don't seek clarity, then
what we remain stay Dennis, what do you think about that?
Speaker 3 (02:16):
We will, Yes, you know, we draw from what's within us.
You know, Jesus even told these disciples, you know, they said, well,
you know where is you know where is the kingdom?
And he said, the Kingdom of God dwells within you.
And so he always tells us to seek first the
(02:38):
Kingdom of God is always him. First, we seek the
Kingdom of God. Then all these things will be added
to us. What things, you know, the things that it
takes to live on, the things, the things that we
desire in our hearts to have. All those things will
be added if we prioritize properly and seek the Kingdom
(02:59):
of God first. So everything I.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
Thought I was speaking the Kingdom of God.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
Yeah, well, yeah, you know you you remember you remember
the rich young ruler. Uh. He thought he had it
all together, you know, everything every he answered every question
that Jesus asked me. And he said, I've done all
those things since.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
I was a little bit kid.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I've been doing those things. And Jesus knew the man's heart,
and he said, well, tell you what he knew he
was rich. He said, hey, sell everything you've got, take
up everything you got to sell it, give it to
the poor, and then follow me. He knew he wouldn't
do it. And so even though he had all those things,
and he thought that he was so pleasing to God
(03:46):
and he had plateaued, he had gotten to the highest
level of spiritual comprehension that he could have gotten to,
and being right with God, he's still was still missing something.
So we never rud so and I don't know what
he did after that, you know, he pondered it. He
went away sad because it really I think Pierce is
(04:09):
hard because he knew he had to make a tough decision.
Are you going to go with the world? Is all
of your security based on what you have are is
it going to be based on your trust in God?
So he had to make the decision.
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Well, Dennis, how can someone gain clarity on whether their
dream is truly their purpose are.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Just a distraction? Because you said we gotta keep focus.
How do we do that?
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Well, you first have to know, you know, it's almost
like having your own true identity, just getting to know
who you are, getting to know what ebbs and flows
come up kind of in the natural, you know. You know,
last time we talked about you asked me a question.
It caused me to dig so deep and I started
(04:59):
going back in my ass and and bringing everything up
to the present. And and there was you could see
a line which you brought it together. You could see
that there was just a line going all the way
through my life. You know what, something that God was
trying to get me to do, something that God right listening.
(05:19):
And that was the key because it showed me what
I was going to be doing a major part of
my life in ministry and mission in life was going
to be listening to people and and so so that
it just starts from something like that. And so we
we have to we have to know, and then we
(05:40):
have to kind of go in that flow, because if
we go against it, that's when we're going to find
ourselves in a storm. That's when we're going to find
ourselves hidden up against all these ways that are opposing us.
You know, Uh, Jonah tried to go to none of us,
you know, he wanted he wanted to go to Tarsus
(06:00):
instead of men of us. And so what did he do?
He ran into all these opposing The supposing storm came
into his life and brought storms on the people that
were around him as well. And so there was there
was just so much, so much in that. And we
don't want to bring storms that are necessary storms into
(06:22):
not only our lives, but it's going to affect everybody
around us. And so God can't get the best out
of us when we are going through things like that
and we're going contrary to the direction that he wants
us to go. So it's something to think about.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
So, now, Dennis, what's one major setback that you your
self may have faced in hindsight? You now that position
you for a greater either personal or professional growth in hindsight.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Okay, well, when you say a professional, it spoke to
me because I always think about this situation that I
had with the judge, and this it caused me to
kind of bounce off of a wall and go in
another direction, which was it was God. But I ran
(07:19):
into a situation where I made a I made a
decision about something that the judge herself did not agree with,
and I got a child that I knew was manipulating
the system. I got the I actually got the girl released.
She was trying to manipultulate a situation where she would
(07:42):
have gotten her father, her stepfather in big trouble, all
this stuff. And then when I went back, just sense
that she wasn't being upfront right, and I went back
and talk with her, and after talking with her a
few minutes, I said, you're you're the one that's in trouble,
not him. I said, because it's going to separate you
(08:05):
from your family. You know things you're saying. So I
let her know the gravity of the situation. And when
she actually saw what she was doing, and now she
was painting herself on a corner. Really, she said, I
was a lying, I was lying about the whole thing.
I said, well, okay, and so I went ahead had
(08:27):
and made provisions for her to get out and to
go home where she should have been, and the judge
found out about that, and the judge called me. Was
in a some It was an officer that really felt
like that girl should have been separated from her father
(08:47):
and stepfather, and you should have seen the people and
met them. They were such outstanding people, you know, her
father and her mother, both of them, and so uh
and I tended to believe them. But anyway, it worked
out whether the judge hanned me, she fired her, and
(09:07):
I said, oh no, you know, and just let me go.
And so here I was left. I didn't know what
I was going to do, didn't know how I was
going to rebound from it. So I went ahead and
made some provisions where I could at least make it
for a little while. And then I got this position
(09:28):
working at a mental health service. It was more private,
but it was good, good experience. And then I bounced
from there and I went started working for Catholic charity
and that's where I ended up becoming a family counselor.
So if I would have stayed at the youth court,
that wouldn't that wasn't God's best, That wasn't where God
(09:51):
really really wanted me. That was just the stop off.
I went to school actually to work at the Youth Court.
They wanted to go get your man and this and
that and by the time I did all that, I
only worked there about maybe a year, maybe a year,
and I had and they saying, you know, here I
am on the street looking for and so here here,
(10:16):
you know. A few months a few months later, I
end up at Catholic Charities. They tell me, oh, we
heard about what happened to you at the Youth Court,
and we know that that judge has some problems. That
judge has some serious problems. And one of the other
judges that worked there was the one that recommended me
to Catholic Charity. He said, I don't like the way
(10:38):
he left. He did not leave right, that was not right.
And he recommended me to Catholic Charities. And I just
walked right in and they already kind of knew my story.
I didn't have to tell me anything. So it was
just set up for me to be there.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
And Dennis, you dropped a lot on us right there.
Speaker 1 (10:56):
And because you really showed us how we can ye
elevate but keep our values, we don't have to compromise
our values.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
And I want folks like to mention this.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
I showed them the book cover, Uh, so they could
see the stairs that I'm trying to pin down.
Speaker 2 (11:12):
The stairs.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Yeah, but the cross, That's.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
What I'm geting ready to say, because you see when
you said we have to start at the ground level,
which is at the bottom.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
We got under said price came down. He was born in.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
A major exactly, but he was at a barn.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
He was at the bottom.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
He then grew up and it's in the uh, in
the Kynague talking with the leaders.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
But then when he got all his disciples, he gonna
bend down.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
He is the Messiah. He gonna wash they we bottom
level again, guys, bottom level knowing that he's going to
ascend back to the bother. And to me, that was
just so powerful when you were saying it, because it's
like we a friend of mine who is deceased now
(12:05):
she was a pastor.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Hope.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
I don't mess a description, but you and know what
I'm saying, don't be gauch small begins. Yeah, because he
started he was born in a barn with the animals,
and he is send it back to heaven.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
So you don't have to.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
What I got from that, Dennis was I don't have
to backstaff, I don't have to talk.
Speaker 2 (12:30):
Critical about nobody.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
I don't have to be trying to play in somebody
else's field. Just play in the field that he has
given me with a humble heart, do my very best,
keep him first, and he will do the rest, and
then I will ascend to whatever my heaven is, whatever
my elevation is to be.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
But I have to keep all of that in mine.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
And the thing is our mod is they have to
be pure.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
And that's that's the heart.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Its thin, because that's the human nature that we have to,
you know, bring up a submission. Then let me just
say hello there to Arthur's to Kenya, uh, I think
she's Mississippi native too, for joining us, Dennis. I love
(13:21):
Joseph pull the many colors, guys. I love Joseaph, and
I like the way you walk them down today because
you showed us that we each have different gifts and
sometimes our gifts.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Will they still to make room for you. They will,
But I want to go with this part.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Our gifts will cause us to not be welcome in
our homes, our jobs, home.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Could be whatever you want it to be.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
I'm using it as a illustration, so it could be
organized relationships.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
Whatever.
Speaker 1 (14:01):
It will cause us not to be welcome. But when
God has given you a gift and Mann puts you
low because they don't look like your gift, so they're
gonna suppress the gift. This is the gift, They're gonna
suppress it, which means they gonna take you low. If
you keep your hand in God's hand and use your
(14:25):
gift the way God has ordained and tells you to
use your gift. When man is trying to press you down.
What scripture said, what man means for bad, God will
turn it for good. God will continue to rise rise
in you you, which means if he's rising in you,
God's rising in you, that means you are being elevated.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
So just saying something, you just said something. It was
something that you said that triggers something in my thinking.
And it goes back to what we've been talking about
about our mindset, about renewing our minds because we have to.
We don't know what's emitting from us when we have
(15:10):
bad thoughts, their thoughts that they emit from you, and
they create an atmosphere around you. This may sound this
may sound new AG. I don't care if it sounds
new ag. But it's true. There's spiritual principles that are
in operation all the time. And if you start thinking
the wrong thoughts that this man would have been saying,
(15:31):
look how bad they're doing me. Look at you see
how they put me in this prison. He could have
been complaining, he could have been saying everything, you know,
but he just he just kept on looking to the
hills where his help came from and continue to come from.
Speaker 2 (15:49):
He justued to.
Speaker 3 (15:50):
Look up because when he was looking up, what he
excelled because he was looking up where everything comes from, wisdom, knowledge,
and he just stayed focused on that. Lord, am I
supposed to stop hearing from you because all these things
are happening to me? God said, no, keep on listening
(16:12):
to me, keep on honoring me, keep on treating people right,
keep because people were coming to this man left and right,
right and left, and he was able. He was he
had been given us specific grace to do what he
was doing. So it just triggered that when you when
you say that, excuse me, Oh.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
That was good, that was good because you're right. He
kept looking up that's the reason he kept rising. And
you help them understand because we know that all our
help comes from the Lord. What he says, blessings as
praises go up, blessings come down. He kept looking up
and that's how.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
He kept being. The connection to God didn't get broken. Oh,
you gotta.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Understand, oh Jesus, Sometimes when people putting you in hold
you down in the bottom, they're trying.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
To break that connection. Because you gotta understand that.
Speaker 1 (17:07):
The power is in your hair. Don't cut your hair.
But that's because that was the connection to God. But
when you cut that hair, when they can sell that connection,
they got you, and they they had Sampson.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
And then he prayed to God and as if you
just give me strength.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
One more time, because he finally understood the error of
his ways. And Sampson was a judge, guys, so you
know Sampson's real deep. It ain't just him and Delilah.
But Delilah did trick him up and got his hair
cut because.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
He talked too much.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
As Miss Gloria was saying, he talked too much and
he gave his secret away. And that's how the enemy
will get you. You think it that was your friend Deliah.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
It wasn't. She was set to him because he wanted
the other women from the other.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
Tried mother nations instead of here with me his try
and so he got sucked in the lack of a
better way of staying I'm sorry.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
And he got played. And then she told she told
she the.
Speaker 1 (18:09):
Used to sold him into slavery because she told them
where his secret came from. And you know, they cut
his hair and then the subject whatever the group was
there here he jumps up. They got him because he
didn't have the strength anymore, and that his hair was
his linkage to God. But that's like Joseph's looking up.
(18:30):
He because he stayed dial in to God. He didn't
get side tracked by any other stuff that was going on.
And that just, you know, is when you when you
were saying that it just I don't know, it just
did something to me.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
It just did something to me because.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
I love Joseph that I had and I'm listening to
you and he's dropping stuff on me. But the fact
that he kept looking up for the wisdom, the knowledge,
and then we haven't finished the story. But uh, author
Technika said that she loves you Joseph too. I'm really
enjoying the line my mind. This is my confirmation with
(19:08):
the grace to complete assignment on my life. Absolutely because
thank you, thank you to me. Because Joseph had an
assignment on his life. He had no signment he was
gonna save all the people in Egypt, but more importantly,
(19:28):
he was gonna save his family.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
And that was I believe at this moment in time,
because y'all changing the minut when I get something else,
but at this moment in time, that's what resonates with me.
He was to save his family. So they talked about him.
He was his daddy's faith. The siblings didn't like him.
They gonna sell him in to they gonna kill him.
Like you said, the older gloser, this don't kill him. Uh.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
They let the daddy believe that he's dead and waved
back bye. And by when the morning comes, they don't
have no food.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
Of them been going through it. But also I think
about what they said.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
Every rhyme gets high and high, but I think about
Dennis that just dropped on.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
Me, and he was going through.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
Those trials and tribulations that we all go through. He
kept his hand in God's he kept seeking him for
knowledge and wisdom. But he got stronger, he got powerful,
but the power didn't go to his head.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
So he still had that.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
Caring servant heart, so that when his siblings came to Egypt,
he did what Dennis.
Speaker 3 (20:39):
The one thing he forgave them because the power of
that forgiveness was greater than anything in the whole story
is the fact that he knew how they had treated them.
Seeing that's that level again that we were talking about.
You know, he kept humble, he humbled himself under God
(21:00):
hand and and for Gay and you know, so thinking
about Job, and I'm not just kidding off, Job had
to do the same thing. You know, when Job's friends
came and they talked about him and they said, oh,
you're not you all this happened because of this and that,
this and that, and they beat him down with that right.
(21:23):
And the first thing that God told him, you know,
when he's about to bring him out, he started asking
Joe questions, you know, and Job, you know, he started
asking Joe questions. I mean, who created everything? You know,
just several questions like that, Joe. It's that kind of thing.
Oh hmm, okay, yeah. And so when he came to himself,
(21:47):
you know about his position, and God saw his hard
head shifted and got back on track. Well, then he said,
I want you to do something. I want you to
pray for your friends. If you don't, they're gonna be
in bad shape. You know, that's pray for them. And
so it took for the forgiveness. You can't pray for
(22:08):
somebody that you don't forgive. It's very difficult. And so
he did that, and then after that all the abundance
that Joe had lost, it came back double. You know.
It just happened in that order, you see. And so
there's always an order with God. God does everything decently
(22:31):
and in order, so one step at a time. But
you can't skip two steps and go up to the
fifth step. You can't do that. Not in his kingdom.
It's always a learning process. The children of Israel could
go into the Promised Land being the way they work.
(22:52):
So he said, I cannot let y'all go. Y'all all
be dead in about three days if I let you
do that. So you're gonna have to go the long
way to preserve life. That's the only way you're gonna
make it, is that you got to go a long way.
Through here, learn a few lessssons, and then you'll be
ready to face your enemy. And so that's what we
(23:17):
have to do. If we are not willing to go
through the steps, be patient with God. Go through the steps.
Trust God, but be patient go through those steps. See
faith and patience work together. They're never separate. Faith is
always going to require patience. And so that's how you
(23:39):
receive the promise. Through faith and patience. They work together
and be joyful in the process. You don't want to
grown and grump and grite. Just just know that Lord,
God's got this. He's got it, you know, and just
just throw it over and roll it over on him
(24:00):
and tell him that because what we speak it really
brings life. I can be going through something and I
just say, Lord, I just thank you, I thank you.
I praised you for it. And look at me. I've
got my body is your temple. I'm healthy, I'm whole,
I'm well, I'm able to do this, that and the other.
I got a house to live in, I got somewhere,
(24:22):
a roof over me, I could go and drive my car.
And you think about all these things that you have,
You forget all about what you had been thinking. About,
and so it changes the atmosphere around you, and it
opens up a gateway for God to come in, because
that's all he want is he wants entrance into your
life so that he can bring these good things into
(24:43):
your life. So we have to create a right atmosphere
for him. Can't just expect something from God. We don't
have the right atmosphere to receive it. So that's.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
What would you say to someone who feels burnt out?
Sure if their work still aligns with their passion or
their purpose, what would you say to that person?
Speaker 3 (25:08):
It comes up the scripture over in I think First
Corinthians is it five shoh goodness chapter five by But
it says in the end the last scriptures to be
steadfast and unmovable, always about founding in the works of
(25:29):
the Lord. For you know that your laborers are not
in vain. Whatever it is that you're assigned to do,
then you need to be steadfast about doing those things. Continue,
don't quit because you could quit right at the very
minute that God's about to change your circumstances completely. And
(25:50):
so the enemy's design and his plan is to bring
so much opposition unto you falter in your progression and
your forward progress, and you decide to look back, you
decide to don't look back. And when you look back,
then you become double minded. And the word says that
(26:12):
a double minded man cannot receive anything from God. So
it's a disqualification that takes place. You become disqualified from
pressing and receiving. When you become double minded, you because
you look back. You look back because you're saying, well,
this thing has gotten too hard. I think I'm just
(26:32):
gonna go back. I'm going to go back to the
way things were. I'm going to go back to the
more simpler things because it's just too much opposition and
I cannot. But the opposition is meant for you to
press press through, and it's instead of giving up. You know,
you you you have to press through because there's a
breakthrough coming. There's always a breakthrough. When you break through
(26:56):
to the other side, you say, oh, all the this
was here because you persevere, you kept pressing. Hey, if
you need if you need somebody to just you know,
edify yourself. You know, David didn't have anybody, He didn't
have anybody around him. But what did he do? He
had to encourage himself in the Lord, and so when
(27:20):
he started to encourage himself, guess what he I mean,
everybody was against him. His men wanted to kill him.
You know, he had lost everything. You know, all the
women and children had been taken away. But what did
he say, I'm going to encourage myself in the Lord
and God turned everything around. He said, let's go and
get out of our stuff back should I go up?
(27:41):
God said, go and get it, go and get it.
But if he would have stayed in the Sloan, he
would even have the ability to ask God anything. He
was just saying, well, I guess that's the animal kingdom.
Then well are you going to do that? Now you've
come this far, keep pressing because your breakthrough is right ahead.
(28:02):
It's about to happen. Let's keep going everyone.
Speaker 2 (28:06):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
I know some folks have come in a little late.
Please go back and watch the replay. This will bless
you because it has blessed me. Anika, Thank you, dear,
Because I mean, as we talk about iron sharp and iron,
this is the way Dennis and.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
I are offline.
Speaker 1 (28:26):
I never walk away from a conversation with him without
being elevated in my thinking. Because it's got to happen
here in order for you to understand how to stay
connected to God. And we just this is the type
of conversations that we go back and forth on and
(28:48):
we relate it to our real world life.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
And experiences that we're having. Because I don't people ask me, well,
how did you manage to get through the instant?
Speaker 1 (29:00):
So that this because of God? And I think because
I haven't thought about this. I think because I love Matthew.
The fourth chapter when when oh God, and I get
it now that black man man, the one that I called,
the one that walked down the water from Gallilee, that
particular black man, we don't go. But I just had
(29:21):
something then said I want to I want to owl
out with you because it may bless someone else. When
I was little, I don't God took me to that scripture.
I don't know if I heard it in church, but
it resonated with me, and I would read it over
and over again, over and over again. And the other
scripture I read over and over again as I got older,
(29:44):
was knocked and the door shall be open, Seek and
you shall find.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
And I would read this over and over and over again.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
When I go back now after this conversation with you,
I realized that Matthew the fourth chapter was his way
of preparing me for the trials that I was gonna encounter.
And I never forgot it into just now because the
devil was trying Jesus, and every time he would try
(30:15):
and Jesus would come back with another.
Speaker 2 (30:17):
Uh, he was quick, quick, wick, he's shutting down.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
He come back with something else. Jesus was shutting down.
That's how we have to be. We have to be
steadfast and what we know to be true, and when
storms come, our principalities, whatever is coming against us, we
have to hold on.
Speaker 2 (30:38):
To what we know is the truth.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
With this God's word, if he said it, it's going
to come to pass. And so I realize now that
he was preparing me. And because I read it over
and over for years probatyen fifteen years.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
I would read those things over and over again.
Speaker 1 (30:56):
But that was his way of indoctrinating me, and I
didn't even though understand it.
Speaker 3 (31:04):
Yeah, yeah, that that was We never discussed it. But
your indoctrination of separation.
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Yeah, we talk about that relationship to elevation. Because he was.
Speaker 1 (31:16):
Indoctrinating me and I didn't even understand it until now
he was indoctrinate. He was rewriting my DNA.
Speaker 2 (31:26):
He was rewriting who I was to be.
Speaker 1 (31:28):
He was giving me what I needed to be able
to do what was to come decades down the road
for some of the things decadies. But I didn't understand it.
And knock and the door shall be opened. Seek and
you shall find. He was telling me, I believe to
keep my eye on him, and if I keep seeking him,
(31:48):
I'm gonna find it. If I keep knocking at the door,
he's going to give it to me. But if I
take my eyes off of him, I don't know what
water was walking on the water, I'm gonna sick.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Yes, tell they sank.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
Well, they took their eyes off of Jesus, they would,
but they were walking the water.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Then they sank. And so again, you know, Dennis, now
that had that was just one of my revelations that
had nothing to do.
Speaker 1 (32:17):
But it does cause it doesn't have anything do, but
it really does because it's all about the elevation. And
that's my example of why he was able to not
let let me stay in the pit as it came
to the insects a man.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
That's how I.
Speaker 1 (32:35):
Got out the pit because he was indoctrinating me and
he was helping me to understand. If I keep seeking him,
he would help help me to understand how that was
in preparation to be able to help other people.
Speaker 3 (32:54):
Amen. Amen, you are right on point, and I really
appreciate our time. It's just such a bud. I tell you,
I could just we could just keep going. I know
you go so yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Dennis, again, thank you, thank you so much for me
and I always enjoy your time with the audience.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
You always drop.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
These gyms, and I hope that when folks go back
and they listen to this, they will find their own
gems and see how these things have been working in
their life for their good and they receive their confirmation
as author Tanikaus did.
Speaker 3 (33:35):
Well.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
Dennis, and to the audience, thank you guys so very
very much.
Speaker 3 (33:40):
And you shall.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
Before you go trying to take care of someone else,
please make sure you take care of yourself so that
you can elevate to the throne that God has prepared for.
Speaker 2 (33:53):
Each of us. Because He's done it.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
But you got to take care of you, and you
gotta understand what taking care of you means in order
to stay in God's plan, so until next time, make
sure you take care of you by now
