Speaker 1 (00:00):
Simply going to talk about generations this morning. Just simply
that I'm just going to talk about generations. I want
you to get in your spirit, in your mind. It
is not just about you. It's not just about your circumstances.
It's not about your conditions, it's not about how you feel.
You are serving a God who thinks generationally, and if
(00:22):
you think circumstantially and conditionally, you cannot understand what God
is saying because much of what is happening with you
right now has more to do with who is coming
after you.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
Than it does with you. Deceized lives.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Treatings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
As we approach Father's Day, I think it's so important
that the children, the sons and daughters, and brothers and sisters,
even wives, salute men who have fought for you, you and
tried for you even if they failed. If they tried,
you ought to honor them and lift them up and
encourage them. Because men become what you encourage. They become
(01:11):
what you encourage. As we prepare to honor them, I'm
going to share a message called generations, and I want
the men to know that what you're breaking through and
fighting for is bigger than you. It's for your children,
and for your children's children, and for the fourth generation.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
God declares a blessing for you. Watch this, You're going
to be blessed.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
God appears to Abram and says, now, I'm going to
show you who you really are. Well, why now, why
didn't you do it when I was younger? Why didn't
you do it when I had a better job. Why
didn't you do it before I left Chicago? Why didn't
(01:56):
you do it before I got to this stage in life?
God says, you weren't ready yet. I had to take
you through the process to get you to the promise.
Now you're ready to receive on a level that you
could have never received before. I'm gonna show you who
you really are, who you really are. But God, I'm
(02:19):
ninety nine years old. If you'd have done it at seventy,
I could see it. If you'd have done it at fifty,
I could see it. If you'd have done it at eighteen,
I could see it. If you'd done it at fifteen,
I could see it. He said, you don't have to
see it. I don't need you to see it. I'm
(02:40):
still going to do it because I'm called ninety nine
years old. It is nothing to me. He says.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Now I'm gonna bless you.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
I know it's early in discermon that have you say
something to somebody else, but look at somebody and say.
Speaker 2 (02:59):
Now, God's go bless you.
Speaker 1 (03:02):
After you've made your messages and made your mistakes, and
been through your maladies and run out of your ideas
and come to the end of your room and don't
see any way that it's going to come to pass,
God says, now I'm going to bless you. You couldn't
do it in your own strength. Your friends failed, your
family didn't come through, the neighbors didn't do what they
(03:25):
were going to do.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
But now I'm going.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
To show up in your life, just when you've given
up on any possible way that it could be done.
God says, now I'm gonna bless you. I wonder if
anybody's got now faith, not not shall be faith, not
was faith. But now in this present moment, this this
(03:51):
sliver of time stuffed in between two eternities, in the
split second of a moment, God says, now I'm going
to bless you. I know your knees are wrinkled in
your back this bit. But when I get ready to
bless you, circumstances are nothing against my word. Now I'm
(04:13):
going to bless you. I'm gonna show you who you are.
I'm gonna show you where you are. I'm gonna show
you why you had to go through what you had
to go through.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
And I swear I'm gonna bless you. Don't worry. When
I do bless you.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
It's gonna make up for all of the foolish things
you did along the way.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
I am the Lord, God Almighty.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
I get ready to bless you. I will bless you clear.
Let me tell you who you really are. You've been
playing all those games and walking in all those labels
and trying to be who other people said you were.
Cut here, boy, and let me show you who you
really are. You've been trying to live up to other
(05:10):
people's expectation, playing a role and playing a game, trying
to fit in with this one and that one. Cut are,
Let me show you who you are. You're not who
they called you. Let me call out.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Of you who you are. Shuck who Abraham?
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Come out of Abram, Come out of Abram, Step out
of the shadows. Of who they called you, and become
who you are. You shall no longer be called Abram,
but your name shall be called Abraham. And then God said,
(05:51):
for a father of manidations have I made you. You
must understand that God is talking.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
To a man who has no air.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
About being the father of many nations when he's struggling
to become the father of one.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
This is God come to talk.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Most people who tell you they've been talking to God
all day, he'll alive. Most people tell you the Lord
spoke to me this morning, told me to put cream
in my coffee.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
Theirlife.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
God doesn't come down here to help you pick out
your drapes, or to discuss what color your sofa should be,
or to come into your room and tell you to
get your hair done. All of those people have psychosomatic
symptoms that are causing emotional disturbances, and they hear voices.
But it's not God. God is too busy to speak
(06:58):
to you about diseasions you could make yourself. When God speak,
it's a destiny change. When God speaks, there's gonna be
a major shift. As little as I am, I don't
(07:21):
like to be bothered with people asking me to make
decisions about things I care nothing about. It comes to
a point in your life that you're too busy to
be bothered with triviality. It just simply doesn't matter to me.
It just really doesn't matter to me most of the time.
It really doesn't matter to me what we eat. It
really doesn't matter to me where we go to eat.
(07:42):
It really doesn't matter to me whether we wear blue
or black. It doesn't matter me whether the user have
on red bow tie and yellow bow tie.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
I don't care.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
The real truth of the matter is I saved my
decisions for the level of my influence. Now, if you
can understand that about a man, how much more can
you understand that about a god who sits on the
circle of the earth. Start asking God whether you should
(08:11):
wear a towel, or whether you should get the house
or not.
Speaker 2 (08:14):
God don't care you want to get it. It it's
your will for me to get the house. I don't care.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Should I get this chandelier or not. Gus shays, I
don't care. When I wanted daylight, I made the sun.
I was God while you were figuring out what electricity was.
I don't care about the chandelier. When I speak to you.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
It's gonna be.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
A shifts how that God, Oh, my Dad, besides me, Larius,
no other walk thou before me and be thou perfect.
It means I'm coming to bring you into a linement.
I'm coming to bring you into order. I'm coming to
(09:02):
bring you into your destiny. I'm coming to wrap this
thing up with a crescendo. In other words, or ladder
day shall be greater than your farmer day. You're talking
about the good old days are behind you, but the
good old days ahead of you. My God, my God,
(09:27):
somebody in this room. God is bringing your life into
alignment after thirteen years of mistakes and mishapson Almost isn't
just about it? Almost there, God said, I showed up to.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Show you who you are, and I'm going to bring
you into alignments.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
I'm going to bring you into alignment. That means I'm
going to take out of your life everything that shouldn't be,
and I'm going to bring into your life everything that
(10:19):
I have predestined to me. And I don't care about
your circumstances, and I don't care about your conditions, and
I don't care how old you are, and I don't
care how weak you are. When I get ready to
bless you, I will make everything line up and come
into order because I'm God. I know your wife is
(10:41):
past child bearing age. I know her breast her shriveled up,
not producing any milk. I know your body is weak
and you have lost your strength as a man. I
know that you don't have a seed. I was waiting
for you to run out of a seed so that
I could give you a seed. And when I give
(11:02):
you a seed, Sarah's womb will recognize something new has
hit my womb because it has quickened it and brought
it back to life. Y'all don't hear how good I'm preaching.
You don't even understand that when God's seed hit a
dead thing, it brings it back to life.
Speaker 2 (11:27):
Still to come on, the potter stach.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
I sustain you through all of your foolish death. I
stopped you from committing suicide. It wasn't that you were
gonna kill you. You were gonna kill who's next. I have
a plan for your life, had a future for your life,
and if you die here you will mix the next generation.
I sustain you because I need you to play a
(11:51):
role in my plan that nobody else can pay.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
But you I tapped you alive.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Sarah's womb was dead, Abraham's body was dead, their circumstance
was dead. And yet when Abraham got up off the floor,
you felt a warm feeling. Let all the fathers say, man,
(13:36):
you can explain to her what I meant in the car. Yes,
that feeling had been gone a long time, but it
is an unmistakable feeling for a man. You don't have
(13:57):
it and not know it. Abraham said, baby, I'm back. Oh, brothers,
can I get a witness? There ain't nothing like being back.
That's what I came to tell somebody in this room.
God's about to revive a dead thing in your life.
(14:20):
Glory to God, and you're going to see the glory
of the Lord coming back in your life again. And
just when the devil has struck you out, you gonna say, devil,
I'm back. I've got my sight back, I've got my
passion back, I've got my potent say back, I've.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Got my face back.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
And something is about to happen.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
God calls.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
This infinite man, the father of many nations, this old man,
the father of many nations, this childless man.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
The father of many nations.
Speaker 1 (15:20):
When God talks to you, it sounds crazy. When he
called me to preach, it sounded crazy.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
That's how you know it's God.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
When he calls you to do something that is beyond
your human ability, when he asks you to do something
that you cannot do without him, When he asks you
to do something that does not fit your circumstance and
your situation. That means that it may be your body,
but it's going to be his seed. It may be
(15:59):
your mouth, but it's going to be his voice. It
may be your hand, but it's going to be his intelligence.
For the battle is not yours. It belongs to the Lord.
Said something to my wife. Well, I really wasn't talking
to her. I was talking around her. I can't even remember.
(16:20):
We had a bunch of people over and now I
was talking about Marriage is a mystery. It's a mystery.
It's a mystery that it's a mystery that brings two
people together that are attracted to each other because of
their differences.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
It's a mystery.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Then they spend the next twenty to thirty years trying
to make each other be each other.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
It's a mystery.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Marry somebody who doesn't think right or do right, or
act right, or feel right, because right is whatever you think.
You walk past all of those people who think like
you and fell in love with somebody who was different
(17:22):
and then tried to make them be.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Like you.
Speaker 1 (17:26):
It's a mystery. It's a mystery what keeps people together.
I've seen couples that when I saw them get started,
I would have swore they wouldn't have made it a year,
and they spent thirty forty fifty years together. It's a mystery.
Sometimes they weren't romantic, they didn't even get along, but
(17:50):
they stayed together. I've seen other people so love it
duvey that you'd have swore they'd have lasted a lifetime.
They didn't make it a week. It's a mystery. Attractions
are a mystery. And one of the things that makes
(18:10):
him a mystery is because we think on such a
small level that you are thinking toward where you are
now when it could be possible watch this.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
It could be possible.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
That God brought you together your gene pool with her
gene pool, and it.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
Was never about you.
Speaker 1 (18:40):
It could be possible that God was in the laboratory
mixing up.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
The chemistry for the next.
Speaker 1 (18:54):
Generation, and he reached over and said, I'll take a
little bit of her and mix it with a little
bit of him, and I'll shake it over the fire.
And here they come, the next generation, coming out.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
Of your lows.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
And it was never about you, and it was never
about her. It was about what was in you. And
he needed a little bit of what they had mixed
with a little bit of what you had to produce
the next generation.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
He says, it's a mystery. There is a nation in you.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
God, after thirteen years of silence. You didn't come to
talk to me about me. No, I came to talk
to you about what's in you. The fight is always
over what's in you.
