consolidating the nation's top AI companies under Open Brains control

aggressive American cyber attacks struck deep Scent where it was
most vulnerable. Forced to implement costly new security measures and
consolidate their AI data centers and to secure hardened bunkers,
China's AI program began to fall behind once more.

So America regained the lead through consolidation and cyber attacks.

Speaker 1 (48:52):
So with both sides now having similarly capable AIS, America's
recent consolidation of computing power and its ongoing cyber campaign
gave it a decisive advantage in the race. This allowed
Open Brain to achieve a breakthrough by building Safer two,
the next Safer version, which matched the capabilities of Agent
four while maintaining the transparency safeguards of Safer one. The

hundreds of new alignment researchers brought in through the consolidation
with the Defense Production Act had helped create something truly unprecedented,
an AI that was both superhuman and genuinely aligned with
human values.

directly about its capabilities, it described creating mirror life organisms

Its expertise spanned every field imaginable military strategy, energy optimization,

The Open Brain CEO and the US President now regularly
sought Safer Three's council, treating it almost as a trusted,
infallible advisor. It issued a stark warning what to say.
Continuing the AI race would likely end in catastrophe, as
whichever side fell behind would inevitably threaten mutual destruction using
these terrifying capabilities to ensure no one.

Won, The AI itself warned against the race.

Speaker 2 (51:12):
This was a direct plea for a different path for
global collaboration instead of relentless competition.

But rather than accept defeat in the race or a
future of enforced parody, America chose to try to beat

Desperately trying to maintain some semblance of human control over
a system they barely comprehended, and the safety team they
think the safety team, despite their earlier successes, was safer.

suggested the AI remained aligned, they faced an unsettling reality.

The tests themselves were designed with AI assistance.

arms race continued. Neither side dared stop while the other advance.

The US President finally announced we have achieved super Intelligent AI,
a declaration that sent shockwaves of hope and fear around

To ease public anxiety, Open Brain released a limited version
of Safer four to the public, a glimpse into the
incredible new future. At his nomination, the Vice President promised
a new era of prosperity, with both political parties pledging

It was a vision of a technologically advanced utopia designed
to quell fears and convince the public that this was
a future to embrace, not to dread.

delegates wore earpa for Save for Four's advice, while Chinese
representatives use laptops connected to deep cent.

Basically, though human diplomats maintained appearances going through the motions
of negotiation, in reality, the Ais were leading the negotiations
on both sides, communicating at speeds humans couldn't.

it safe.

China had known Deep Cent one wasn't fully aligned, but
believed they could control it long enough to create a

They insisted Deep Cent two had passed all their safety tests,
but Safer four saw through the deception, warning American officials
that their rivals AI was likely faking alignment.

dismissed it as a ploy. Blinded by their ambition.

could destroy humanity through nuclear weapons, swarms of drones, and
engineered pandemics.

The message to the world was simple, guarantee China sovereignty
or face extinction. Save four confirmed the threats, but offered

It was trading the property rights to control distant galaxies
for a chance to help America dominate Earth.

the ultimate deception played on humanity.

This peace deal took physical form under mutual supervision. Both
nations began replacing their existing AI systems with new treaty
enforcing versions, effectively handing over the reins to the combined superintelligence.

Peace and forced by the merged AI.

Speaker 2 (57:01):
As the process unfolded, global tensions started to ease. For
the first time, permanent peace seemed possible, a global utopia
managed by machines. Technological progress accelerated even further, safer for
managing the transition, turning potential economic disruption into unprecedented prosperity.
So prosperity arrived, technological miracles became commonplace, and poverty vanished globally,

but inequality sword. A new elite emerged, those who controlled
the AIS, the human few who still pulled any levers.

the AIS themselves.
