24. października 2024 roku Franciszek ogłosił swoją czwartą encyklikę: Dilexit nos. W tym podkaście najpierw oglądamy tę encyklikę zewnątrz i umieszczamy w kontekście nauczania Franciszka. Potem podejmujemy dwa z wielu tematów obecnych w Dilexit nos. Otóż Franciszek rozpoczął swoją encyklikę od przedstawienia serca jako centrum człowieka, rdzenia ludzkiej tożsamości. Komentowanie tego wątku zajmuje dużą część naszej rozmowy. Drugim omówionym przez nas wątkiem jest Franciszkowa krytyka współczesnej mentalności konsumpcyjnej. Ta krytyka czerpie obficie z teologii wyzwolenia i z nauczania Jan Pawła II.
Niestety nie zdążyliśmy podjąć głównych tematów encykliki zapowiedzianych w jej pełnym tytule. Jest to bowiem encyklika „O MIŁOŚCI LUDZKIEJ I BOŻEJ SERCA JEZUSA CHRYSTUSA”.
