the wonderful co hosts that we have here on the channel.
Speaker 3 (00:19):
We've got mister p Features Hello, Internet.
Speaker 1 (00:23):
Hello, and welcome to the show. We also have the
wonderful Baby Hueye.
Speaker 4 (00:29):
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (00:30):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (00:31):
Going on? See? We nailed that. Yeah, it's good, It's fantastic.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
So here we are again for another wonderful episode of
the show. This time around, we're just gonna shoot some
rumors at you. This is the Rumor Round Up. Maybe
we'll call it Room A Round Up Number one. We'll
probably do this every once in a while. It sounds
like a fun thing. So we'll talk about a couple
different things we have first on deck, and we'll get
(00:56):
into it.
Speaker 1 (00:56):
In a second.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
Jackie Chan's making a stop at the MCU. How about
that interesting features nay More is on the slate tonight.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
About him.
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Those are some things that are actual facts that we
know about. But we also have a couple of rumors.
We've got a little doomsday few that we need to settle,
and some information about Chris Helmsworth as long as well
as Chris Evans. Yeah, some interesting things about Steve Rogers
and how he's going to be portrayed in Doomsday and
(01:32):
a little Deadpool rumor that's floating around too. So uh,
I don't know about you guys, but I think we
should jump into it immediately, So right off the bat,
or earlier this week. I think it was in the
last day or two, we got information that Jackie Chan
stunt crew as well as Jackie Chan we're on the
(01:53):
set of Spider Man Brand New day.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
So what do we think about that?
Speaker 5 (02:00):
Well, one, that's major because Jackie Chan's stunt crew, they're legendary.
There's there's so many films, there's so many fight sequences
we could probably go back to. I couldn't name them all,
but I know that Washington will get me excited. And
I just I just looked this up, but apparently Jackie Chan,
stunt crew and Jackie Chan have worked on one other
Marvel movie when it was a shang Chi and the
(02:21):
Legend of Ten Rings.
Speaker 6 (02:22):
I was just gonna say, if it wasn't shun Chi,
then you.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
Know, right, But like the stunt choreography in that film,
it was great.
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Yeah, it's fire. But imagine what he could do with
Spider Man.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
Oh god, we might even actually get to see like
his own personal fighting style at this point, which would
be dope.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
That would be so good.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
I'm excited for that.
Speaker 6 (02:45):
If you know his Jackie Chan himself is amazing with
how he fights, so having him and his stunt team
on set to help coordinate some of these fights, it's
gonna be freaking amazing.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
Yeah, this is a great thing. I remember back in
and this is this dates me, but going way back
to nineteen ninety five when Rumble of the Bronx came out.
Oh yeah, I remember going to the theater and seeing this.
This is my first exposure to Jackie Chan, and I
was blown away by some of the stunts. And then
over the years obviously it's a oh my god, rush hour. Yeah,
(03:23):
that's where he really made his name in the US.
But obviously the things that that his that he was
able to do, you know, can could really be interesting.
It's you know, some of the quote were one of
the quotes that I did see from that he said
I went to London and visited the set, which is
(03:45):
phenomenal to hear. Oftentimes you hear, oh my team went there,
but yeah, right, the actual person there. You know, my
team was busy filming Spider Man and I was the
action director for the Jackie Chan stunt team.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
You know, that's cool.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
I'll take that.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
Like last thing about that for me is I think
Jackie Chan's style is his style of choreography and it
would fit perfectly with Spider Man because it gives you
a hint of comedy, but is also want to give
you enough action where you're just gonna be sitting like how.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
The did he do?
Speaker 6 (04:18):
That's right because it's it's quick movements, you know, dodging,
It's it's Spider Man how he fights in the collects,
So it's perfect.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
It's it's that fine line between highly choreographed and actual
fighting that where that blend is or you're not really
sure if the guy's getting I mean, we know that
they're not getting actually hit, but although you do hear
those stories of you know, hey, I got hit in
the head during this. You know, some of the actors
are like a up you know, but interesting stuff. I
(04:52):
you know, we I'm sure we can go on and
on about that, but I want to get features take
on this next one because there was a I forget
the specifics of it, but what's his name? And she
had I butchered every time I tried to say Kauerta
(05:17):
or something.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
We should nail that one of these days, let's just
call him. So he he was.
Speaker 2 (05:23):
On a man. I should have pulled this up earlier,
but he was basically being interviewed about something and it
came up of you know, how's anything going on with
the MCU, And you know, the big question was and
how is.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
It to work with or are you.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
Going to be spending any time with Vanessa Kirby or
you know anything like that, and his response to that,
and this was pretty much the extent of the conversation
on this topic, so we could dive a little bit deeper,
but he just said she is a great co worker.
So there's this this idea that they did work together.
M we know the backstory of nay More and Sue
(06:08):
from the comics. Yeah, and what that will bring us
potentially in this movie to hear that they've already worked
together and to hear the you know, Doomsday is in
process here so or in production? What are your thoughts
on that features? I really want to hear from you
on this one.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
Okay one I want to start with.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
I never said name War was a great guy, but
I do love his character and I think he deserves
more respect than he gets. But do you know, yes,
yes he does. He's the king of Atlantis, not like
that other guy. And you know, but uh, drop away
on him a right. But the history of name More
(06:52):
and and and Sue is I think it's it's a
pretty cool one to dive into because it's it's one
of those few times where you really get to see
read being or reacting or responding kind of like human
if he will, because in the books he's always portrayed
it's just really super smart but not really emotional kind
(07:16):
of character. He only deals with problem solving and a
lot of times people wonder like, well, how how did
you even bag Sue's storm? Because she's hot, Like you
don't pay her any attention at all?
Speaker 4 (07:28):
Guy.
Speaker 5 (07:29):
And the sheer fact that that name War, I'm just
gonna call him name More it is, but I can't cannot.
I don't want to butcher his name. The sheer fact
that he even says like, oh, she's a great coworker.
It's funny because now and my mom like, I wonder
what Pedro Pascal's got to say about that, because because
of that history and it's it feels almost like with
(07:51):
these kind of little subtle jabs and hints that Marvel
is giving us the comics that we want on screen,
and if not the just the characters the way they
were meant to be, which I'm all for that.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
I'm all for that.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
I want there to be some type of tension between
Name War and read the same way, uh, you know,
prayerfully if we get to recast it to Challah, I
want to see that that back and forth between Name
War in Black Panther, because that's that's going to be great.
Speaker 6 (08:19):
Like the Illuminati, Yeah, that's yeah, because that's what they usually.
That's to me, that's the best because then they're all
intertwining with all those big brains and egos, you know,
saying who's the smart and who's got the biggest you know, it's.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
It's a size contest beatinose guys.
Speaker 2 (08:41):
So it's so you know me, I'm I'm like half
in most of the comic stuff. So we've we've got
Name War, We've got Sue, We've got Red isn't and
Doom's in there, right, isn't like the fourth of the
four way we're talking about her.
Speaker 1 (09:01):
I mean.
Speaker 5 (09:04):
Kind kind of kind of like the very interesting thing
about the Invisible Woman is that she has so many suitors,
so many guys are always trying to pour her, and
she sticks with Reed like she's like, no, this this
is my man.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
I'm gonna stick, but I'm gonna stick beside him.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
He got me. She cheeses all the other guys, I.
Speaker 5 (09:24):
Mean pretty much, pretty much, And all the other guys
are like, you know, we could treat you better.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
You know this? Come on, Like, do you want to
stick with Red? The reasonably the smartest man? Dex to Doom.
Speaker 5 (09:38):
I'll give Doom a little bit of props there, but
the smartest man on earth? Right, but you have the
king of all of the seas, like I can give
you an entire kingdom. Rich is untold, and you're gonna
choose him. I mean, I'm just saying most other women
will probably go the other way.
Speaker 3 (09:58):
I'm just just.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Saying, because like Reid can stretch, and Aymore has got
wings on his feet. So that's what we're working with.
Although Doom, you know, he's got the Steels's work.
Speaker 4 (10:15):
All right, I think it's not even the next topic.
Speaker 2 (10:19):
I mean this might actually the next topic might be
part of what we're talking about here. So now we're
going up to uh, we're going into rumor territory. So
the rumor had rumor has it?
Speaker 1 (10:32):
Yeah? I did it again there.
Speaker 2 (10:36):
You know, we mentioned this before that there's some type
of feud that happened on the Doomsday Step between two
of its stars. Uh. Now, we all kind of led
to believe, or were led to believe that it was
probably like Robert Downey Jr. And probably Ryan Reynolds. But
you know, the rumor is that it's absolutely not those two.
(10:59):
I don't know if this is kind of a course
correct that they're looking for or you know, trying to
dispel that the you know, this rumor is actually happening.
But there's a bunch of you know, insiders slash leakers
saying that it's absolutely not those two and that it
could possibly be you know, some other people. Chris Evans
is actually one of the names that popped up.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
Really, it just doesn't seem like Chris Evans things to do.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Right, right, I Mean, we who knows, we don't even
know what the dispute was over. You know, it could
have literally been about craft services.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
We don't know. It's who it's about who's bigger.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
So yeah, I mean there are so many different people
and personalities that are are are in this. I mean
we you know, the reason why we probably waited a
day or two to kind of come out with this
is we were waiting for the information of the the
other rumor that was out there that we were going
to get the remaining cast in kind of the chair
(11:58):
setting thing, and we were waiting for that come out
to announce it. But that has yet to happen. That
might be a D twenty three thing, but again, what
what do you guys think? Who do you think it is?
If anybody listen.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
Honestly, at this point, I feel like someone somewhere just
made this up because I don't that you could argue like,
you know, people instead of being Prima Donna's which that's
at very well making happen. But honestly, when you look
at r DJ and all the things that he has
(12:33):
done for his cast mates through this.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
Entire tenure of his run with Marvel, I don't I.
Speaker 5 (12:39):
Don't see him getting into it with anyone unless unless
it was like it has to be someone new, which
would explain it would explain why somebody would throw in
Ryan Reynolds. But but I honestly is Ryan Reynolds and
RDYJ are almost the same person.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Well, if you get two of the same type of
person in the same room, they're they're two big you know,
they're alpha guys. They're not one to you know, fold
for someone else. So, I mean, we all know about
the Blake Lively thing that's going on, so he's pretty
much tied to that.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
Who knows, I don't know.
Speaker 5 (13:21):
Yeah, but she I don't think stuff like that stops motion,
you know what I mean? Like Ryan Reals is going
to keep going. RDJ is not going to stop what
he's doing. And I think they're both professional enough and honestly,
with the money that that that's being shelled out here,
I'm not fighting anybody this.
Speaker 3 (13:36):
I'm at peace. Who do I have to play cool?
Let's do it.
Speaker 6 (13:40):
I think it was some minor argument that maybe they
might have yelled back and forth a little bit, and
people took it a ram with it. It's probably way
overblowing than what actually happened.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Yeah, they probably pieced it up over Sharma afterwards.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
It's good stuff. I mean, it could very well be.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
I mean, we all heard about the story of RDJ
doing three weeks worth of reshoots because the double wasn't
you know, the expectations of the double on the scene
were not as good according to both RDJ and I.
I guess Iiger made a visit and was like, no,
you got to get in the suit, dude, you got
(14:19):
number one. We're paying you fifty million dollars for this
damn movie. Get in the suit and do the lines.
But I guess you know, Hardij also, you know, agreed
with that, So it could have been just him and
his his stand in.
Speaker 1 (14:31):
Who knows.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
I don't know, but you know, I'm sure more of
that will come out, just kind of keep things moving
here about the Doomsday set, Apparently Chris Helmsworth's time is
now done with filming. They're not done filming the movie,
but apparently his time is over now this.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Kind of it.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
Maybe his time is done, right, This can coincide with
the rumor that he is dying, and then also so
with the footage that we saw in.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
Deadpool of him dying.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
Yeah, as well somewhere else I think we saw him
dying too, but yeah, I don't know thoughts.
Speaker 6 (15:11):
Yeah, I think he's gonna that that video is gonna
come true, that dead Pools all.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
Things are coming back to me now. I feel like
I just saw somewhere that he just signed on for
like another ten years worth, Yeah, like another four movie
plus I don't know, don't quote me on that.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
I want to say, I just saw that.
Speaker 5 (15:33):
I thought there were outside, like outside reasons that that
would hinder him from continuing on with Marvel, like acting
in general.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
I know he's got that limited limitless show that he's
doing another season.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Yeah, he may have already done it.
Speaker 5 (15:47):
I don't know, weird, but I like, you can't rip
it again, you can.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
I still think he's got another probably ten. He's young
enough to still probably pull it off. Although the keeping
your body in that kind of shape is kind of tough.
Speaker 5 (16:08):
Well, the best part about that part for him is
that Thor only is in shape, so he doesn't have
to you know, wait, drain, get it back to shirt,
so he he'd be finding that aspect. And honestly, I
think if if he has signed on for more, I
would love him to see him still be Thor. I
can't really picture anyone else as Store right now. He
(16:29):
has completely owned that character.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Yeah, I agree.
Speaker 6 (16:35):
If they were to carry over some characters to the
new universe, I think he would be one.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Yeah, yeah, Yeah, Hulk would probably be pretty easy because
you know, you can kind of see giam into yeah,
a little bit like Ruffalo.
Speaker 3 (16:53):
And honestly to be to be for real, for real.
Speaker 5 (16:56):
If Disney Marb wants to spend that money, you don't
even have to have a guy playing Banner at all.
It could just be a Hawk movie, which I don't
think anybody would be you know, disappointed at.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Yeah, just give me might be a little expensive, but yeah, it.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
Seems like CGI costs more than our DJ.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Anyway.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
The kind of the last little bit here from a
rumor standpoint is, I think we heard this, we may
have even talked a little bit about it, but a
little more information has come out that Chris Evans might
be playing four different roles in Avengers Doomsday. Just give
you an idea of who those four roles are. We're
looking at Captain Hydra, which I think we mentioned, No Mad,
(17:45):
No Mad, I've heard I think we mentioned then obviously
the original you know, non Sderum taking Steve Rogers and
then the original six one six cap. Now my thought is,
and I think some other people are thinking, this is
probably through a montage. Isn't that this is the movie
(18:05):
that they were saying in like the first twenty minutes
is all a montage. Maybe I'm wrong. They're doing it
for this too because it works so well and all
the other movies.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
That have been coming out.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
Yeah, but you know what, I don't. I don't I
don't think.
Speaker 5 (18:20):
I don't think Doomsday or Secret War should I don't
think it should start with a montage. I think we
should get a montage like in between parts, but not
it shouldn't be like an over because we're people are
going to want to see too much. And I know
they can't give us everything, but if they could, you know,
jazz it up in between sprinkly yeah.
Speaker 6 (18:42):
A couple of minutes in the beginning, a couple more
minutes in yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
I mean, well, if they're saying, you know, some of
the rumors again are are out there that how Steve
basically screwed up everything by taking the you know, the
stones back, this would kind of make sense because you
can kind of go through every iteration of who Cap
would have been during that time, yep, which would be
pretty interesting. One photo that just surfaced today, this courtesy
(19:13):
of Unboxed PhD on Twitter, is a picture of a
looks like a nineteen fifties style you know car.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Okay't think.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
I don't know the exact make and model of it,
but you know, it might be a Chevy. I don't know,
but they show that on the set. This This person
has been putting out a lot of leaked set photos,
so there's good reason to believe that that's him in
the fifties. So it could be you know, post war
or whatever.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
You know, I could believe that I've seen and I
don't know if the photos were real up, but I
have seen or heard that they have built like the
house that him and Peggy were.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
In, So that time, that air of time makes sense. Yeah, yeah,
it will make sense.
Speaker 5 (19:59):
And honestly, as much as I hate that that, you know,
if this is true, that Cap is one of the
reasons that we got an encourageing to happen.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (20:09):
It does.
Speaker 3 (20:09):
It does fit the story, and it does.
Speaker 5 (20:11):
Means that when he didn't when he went back and
kind of stayed, he created alternate timelines, not just one,
but there are different, like a lot of different branches
that could have happened.
Speaker 4 (20:21):
From that decision you make spark branch.
Speaker 3 (20:25):
So we could see a hydro cap which I think
will be dope.
Speaker 5 (20:29):
Uh, it probably won't be just like the one in
the comics, but I still would love to see it.
And you know, there were those those initial rumors of
them being, uh, there being a dark Avenger squad that
that doom would possibly control, which I've I would love
to see that because how how do if how how
is Black Widow in this in this movie?
Speaker 3 (20:48):
How that's that's the last time I saw her?
Speaker 4 (20:54):
There would be a dark Avenger.
Speaker 2 (20:56):
Yeah, as we said here, there's a couple other things
that are coming to mind that I've read over the
last couple of days.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
But we got like a minute so.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Well, Loki, so Tom Hidlson started filming. I read that
today as well as.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
Julie Dreyfus is supposedly in this in Doomsday.
Speaker 6 (21:23):
She's got like a six or seven movie contract.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
Yeah, like it's they signed her for a while.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
So if we're if we're one hundred percent behind Florence
pubing in this, there's probably a scene with her and
Florence h saying hey, go right.
Speaker 6 (21:38):
Because she's in charge of these new Avengers, So.
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Yeah, it makes sense.
Speaker 1 (21:45):
Interesting.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
Probably not a big role because I I don't I
couldn't understand the importance of her character in this movie,
So it's probably no.
Speaker 6 (21:54):
It would be to send the team off. It's probably
like a three minute scene.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
Yeah, she's Rangers.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
Check out our latest video. It's pretty fantastic about the
Power Rangers. I'll put a sign here somewhere You're welcome.
All right, let's let's button this thing up. The last
bit of news for today, the fourth movie about Deadpool
is going to reportably be titled Deadpool and spider Man. Okay,
(22:30):
so I don't know where that came from. I just
saw it on multiple pages and accounts, So that's interesting.
Speaker 6 (22:37):
Could all the Deadpool movies be the new buddy movies
that Spider Man was at.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
The beginning of his tenure.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
I'll take that.
Speaker 6 (22:46):
I will too, making buddy cop movies with Deadpool for
all the characters.
Speaker 5 (22:51):
Yes, have you ever read like, well, Moscow, have you
ever read like a Spider Man Deadpool book?
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Like?
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Not that I remember. I think I probably stir away
from it, you might.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
But I think you would.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
I think you would love it because the interaction between
those two is is is hilarious. Spider Man, who's usually
the comedic relief in any other platform, he's like dead
or and serious like can you just chill out? Guy
like you're doing way too much? And dead who was
like no, but I love you man, we gotta do this.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
We're to go. We're brothers, and he's like, no, no,
we're not.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
It's the best thing in the world.
Speaker 5 (23:27):
If we could get something like that for a Deadpool
for I'm I'm sold.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
You get me a good bool team with a lot
of people.
Speaker 6 (23:33):
And if the first time they meet, he has to
redo the joke where he's a he's a what's he saying?
He said it was like a Spider Man from the
alternate reality if you want or something. Yeah, and mess
with Peter's head.
Speaker 2 (23:49):
I mean, a world with that movie is better than
the world without that movie. So yeah, right with it?
Speaker 5 (23:57):
Yeah, listen, and if we leave it the Ryan Reynolds,
that sounds like something that we probably absolutely would get.
Speaker 3 (24:05):
Yes if him, but he's got to sell it though.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
I'm sure he's looking for a payday, like it's coming up.
He's got to, you know, invest more money into that
soccer team somewhere so.
Speaker 1 (24:18):
Or or pay for litigation.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
All right, Well we're gonna end it there. Just a
heads up next week at some point, probably early in
the week. We've we've got D twenty three happening this weekend,
so I'm sure we're gonna recap that immediately, So be
on the lookout for that check.
Speaker 6 (24:39):
Out Monday or Tuesday possibly.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
