We've never we've never left Graham.
Speaker 5 (01:34):
For nine days. You should left him with me and
he did survive.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
So they don't let him come to Uncle Tod's house.

No, Hey, you guys, hit us up at five eighth
five for one three eight five or buzz buzz admedia
dot com. You're gonna be licking some thumbs. Licking some thumbs.
Speaker 2 (01:53):
So so why exactly can I can Graham not come
do Uncle Tod's house.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
Because you're not home enough.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
I'm home every day from eight to five. No, he
can't last from eight to five without somebody being there.
Why well, he's got to be fed at lunch and
let out about four times, so.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
He ain't gotta be fed a little hear me? O, kas,
I get home at five o' four o'clock.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
That's why he doesn't come to Todd's house because when
he goes come home, when he goes to Katie's house,
he gets played with all freaking day long.
Speaker 2 (02:25):
Yeah, but hey, Julie, Julie checking in. I think Thord

Speaker 3 (02:43):
He's just chilling with the guys on my lap. Look
at me, Look at the TV, look at the look
at the phone. He is blocking my view of my.
Speaker 1 (02:51):
New Oh the Bananasy Squad T shirt?
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Where's mine? I'm testing right now. You don't got a
double X for me? No? What the heck?
Speaker 5 (03:01):
I'm testing the color. The color on these, Yeah, the color.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
And the quality is just a billion times better than
what I was using. So all the designs have been
taken off zoinkies dot com except for the four that
I've redone and so and then so I'm redoing and
I'll have a new seventies Buzz podcast design. And when
you order, I mean there's literally some of the seventies
(03:27):
Buzz that are like faded, like you can't. Like one
of them on my white T shirt, you almost can't
see the design at all. It's like faded that much
out of the T shirt.
Speaker 5 (03:39):
No, that's what I'm saying. The quality just it was
so bad.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
So the quality of.
Speaker 1 (03:43):
These that my chuckle Berries I think I've watched at
least four times now and it still looks like the
day I got it.
Speaker 5 (03:49):
So the quality is going to be way better. Michael
Norris checking in. Hey, Michael, all appreciate.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
You guys checking in.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
So Yeah, So Todd is back from his vacation, from
my big vacation, and.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
I did not get eaten by any bears. Did see
a bear? You did see a bear?
Speaker 5 (04:09):
Or the one in the airport?
Speaker 3 (04:10):
Well, no, not that one. You know.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Apparently they don't call they don't call brown bears brown bears.
They call it's either a grizzly or a or a.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
Shoot. I can't remember what they call it.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
But I was informed that no, that's not a brown bear.
That's oh what I can't remember. It's too much, too much,
too much going on. The only time I saw bear
was when we were driving. So we stayed, you know,
we stayed at the lake, and we we had to
(04:50):
leave the lake Friday because that's when our time was up.
We get back into Menden Hall, which is like a
suburb of Juno, like from here to walk Homas, uh huh.
And so between Larry says, Kodiak maybe maybe, and between
Menden Hall where the airport is and where our hotel
(05:14):
was because we literally walked across the street from the
airport to our hotel. Uh uh, So we wanted to
go in town to see Juno. Just a town which
is a small town, like thirty thousand people, but it's
it's the capital of Alaska.
Speaker 5 (05:29):
Yeah, and we don't.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Well, I'm not gonna let him go too far in Alaska.
So be sure and listen to buzz Heead Radio tonight
that episode because he'll go into like all the detail
of what they did and all that good stuff.
Speaker 3 (05:42):
But I forgot where I was.
Speaker 5 (05:46):
So real quick. I'm gonna have to get on.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
You're gonna have to watch messages because I've got to
go to my notes app.
Speaker 5 (05:53):
We got some emails. Oh, we got let's do Da've called.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
Definitely call back.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
They've called called, uh Dave called, Gretchen called. I can't
Gretchen said, I wrote got a line. I can't even
remember when I wrote that.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
She was in a she was an extra in a movie.
Oh yeah, and she got a line.
Speaker 3 (06:16):
If you got a line, you should have You should
absolutely have a.
Speaker 5 (06:19):
You should have got paid if you had a line.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
Yeah, and you should have a b I DBT what
is it called IMDb? You know what he said. And
and then Dave called.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
Dave asked about a rabbits foot. I've got a green
rabbits foot. I'm surprised I haven't showed everybody on the keychain.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
And and Hacky Sack.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
I've got my original Hacky Sack over here on the shelf.
So yeah, Dave, we we played plenty of Hacky Sack.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
He's not a.
Speaker 2 (06:47):
Huge Tom Cruise fan, which I totally agree, Dave. I
totally get it once I heard that scientology crap that
he was doing with his daughter. I have not watched
a Tom Cruise movie since.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
But he does say the new mission impossible.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
I'm not watching it.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
Oh I am.
Speaker 1 (07:05):
Well, but I've seen them all, so I've got to
see the ending. And then I've been getting all the
videos on all the stunts he did, and this is
going to have to be the most stunted actor stunted
movie of all time.
Speaker 3 (07:19):
Well, he's trying to get all that crap in there
before AI takes over. Probably what it is.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
Well, I guess, but like the scene. I think this
there's a scene where he jumps out of something and
he got a parachute and it catches on fire and
then he's like falling. I think they said he filmed
that twelve or thirteen times.
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Yeah, yeah, some care. Yeah, anyway, so Cruise.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
But Dave did say the movie was good.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
And he doesn't he's not a Tom Cruise personal fan.
So we can talk about more of that on Buse
said radio.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
And yeah, and he was. He was.
Speaker 2 (07:56):
He hadn't called in because he couldn't keep track of
when you were going to be here, when I was
gonna be here, and it was confusing.
Speaker 5 (08:02):
We we were confused.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeah, but we're all back to Norman.
Speaker 1 (08:05):
Now, we're back to normal. We appreciate you guys hanging
with us. We were kind of wondering what happened to you, Dave.
Let's see, this was an email. It has a lot
to do with Buzzhead radio.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Gresham said, they're gonna cut me a check.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Oh cool, I think you have I think you yeah,
if you have a line, I think if it's a
like a movie movie, Yeah, if if you get a line,
you have to get paid.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
What was the movie and what was the line? Gretchen?
Speaker 5 (08:33):
Oh yeah, what was the line?
Speaker 3 (08:36):
Acquiring minds one to no?
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Let's see, Uh, Travis, I just want to shout out
on this episode.
Speaker 3 (08:42):
Travis the Taylor.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
I think he messaged me on Instagram. He said, Hey, Curtis,
I've been listening to all your pods for years, seventies
bus since it was a year in but went back
and listened to everything and have been current ever since.
And then he talks about Buzzhead Radio and Zoinky, So
I'll talk more about that, but anyway, I wanted to
give you a shout out on this podcast as well, Travis.
(09:06):
And then Jeffrey. Jeffrey said hello Jeffrey here.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
He says they had a tornado.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
Wow, scary. Luckily no one got hurt. I'm practicing my
gilding and next letters I'll send, we'll probably have real
twenty four cart gold.
Speaker 3 (09:25):
On them, bling bling wow.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
And that made me think about an episode idea Fonts
and arts during the seventies. The art made during the
seventies was very groovy, especially pop art.
Speaker 5 (09:39):
Curtis knows all about that.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
I do.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Erotic art became popular again too during that decade, not
only photographs and movies, but drawings and paintings.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
Pin up posters were totally groovy.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
And we have done an episode on posters.
Speaker 5 (09:56):
The art would be a hard episode to do because
it's so.
Speaker 1 (10:02):
And so anyway, and then he asked if we had
done an episode on black Light and seventies and tier Design,
which I think we did so, so that's from Jeffrey.
And then we got a long I got a long
email from Leo.
Speaker 5 (10:17):
And it has to do with the boots several of
our I'm not sure. Let's see.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
I did have a flashback that I haven't thought about
in more than fifty years. While listening to a recent
seventies buzz I remembered the old glass thermoses that used
to come with your lunch boxes before the plastic ones,
and how many I went through dropping them in elementary school.
That instant you realized it was shattered is still so vivid,
(10:46):
then opening it and seeing the silver glass floating. Man,
can you imagine something like that today? Later, buddy, give
my best to Todd, Leo, le Leola shock So and
then I'll say more of what Leo had to say
on Buzzhead Radio. And I think that I think that
was That's got me caught up on the emails.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
So thanks, guys, We appreciate you. Very cool.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
Cram please, buddy, my phones aren't that good.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
Go see talk go gee talk. There we go, there
we go.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
Yeah, I can go back to get back.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
Okay, come here, look at the phone.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
Look at the phone, I mean behind behind on comments.
So here's a question for you guys. Hey, Paul Margo's on.
Would you guys be interested? It is the big Van
Buren Cruise this weekend in Enid, and I mean it's big.
It's like bumper to bumper for miles and we could
(11:50):
go live at some point on Friday or Saturday night.
Would you guys want to go down Memory Lane on
a cruise and we might only stay live for I
don't know, fifteen or thirty minutes, just to show you
guys some of the cars and get that feel of
remembering what it was like dragging the big strip.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yeah, of course when when we were in high school,
it wasn't that big at all.
Speaker 5 (12:15):
Oh, it was never that crowd.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:16):
Yeah, this is like an annual event and it's and
it's I mean in Enid on this weekend. It's so
big that I'd have to say thousands of people come
sit out on this. They sit on the side of
the strip in their lawn chairs and just watch the cars,
(12:37):
you know, go up and down, so it's it's a
big event.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
So but anyway, we.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Could hop in the old Monte Carlo and go go
live and show you guys. So anyway, let us know
if anybody be interested in watching us go live.
Speaker 5 (12:52):
There's a thumbs up. Let's see. Julie says in.
Speaker 1 (12:55):
My last letter a couple of weeks ago to Jeffrey,
I asked him to wake up and going in on
the Oh, yeah, that would be cool, Jeffrey. He'd have
to get up very early, but come since we can't
really we can't. Like it's hard. It's hard for us
to plan to have him on an episode. But yeah,
(13:15):
it would be fun to have.
Speaker 5 (13:16):
Him on live.
Speaker 3 (13:19):
Right now, it's.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Uh oh, Gritchen says, the video keeps randomly buffering.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
That's probably you.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
So I missed some of what you said to me.
We asked you to tell us what your line was.
Speaker 3 (13:32):
Yeah, what's your line? What movie? What line?
Speaker 5 (13:35):
Yeah, it can have.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Can you divulge the title of the movie yet I
wasn't supposed to when I was in my movie, So.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Okay, well you can tell the line we wouldn't. Yeah, no,
I'm saying, yeah, don't tell them if you can't. If
you can't, don't tell us. But if you can tell us,
if you or you could just forfeit, the twenty bucks
are gonna pay you.
Speaker 5 (13:55):
Hey, my neighbor down the street, Mike Ruby's watching Hey, Mike.
Speaker 3 (14:02):
All German? How'd she get speaking line? That's what I
want to know.
Speaker 5 (14:08):
Yeah, I don't know. We might have to I might
have to quizzer and find out what else?
Speaker 3 (14:14):
What else? Did I have?
Speaker 5 (14:15):
Any other I'm trying to think.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Sly Unfortunately Sly passed away.
Speaker 3 (14:21):
I'm sure.
Speaker 5 (14:22):
I'm sure we lost several since you and I have
been on vacation. But I did. I did not watch
the news for nine days, no news at all.
Speaker 3 (14:32):
Yeah, me neither.
Speaker 5 (14:32):
Well, yeah, you didn't have a choice.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
So I didn't have the internet. I didn't have electricity.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
I told you the title. Look back in the comments. Well,
I wasn't on, so I missed it because I was.
And now I had to leave the app to go
read my notes, so I don't have those comments. I've
only got so far back. I missed your comment, Gretchen.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
I don't see it either. Dave checking in, Hey, Dave
was David?
Speaker 1 (15:03):
David hadn't been on earlier was he Dave. We answered, oh, yeah,
so I do have a I still have a green
Rabbit's foot keychain and my hacky sack original Hacky sack
is right over there. We played with it so much
it wore and got a hole in it, and I
sewed the hole up and so it's still the original
(15:26):
from back in the day.
Speaker 3 (15:27):
Is that rice in there?
Speaker 5 (15:29):
It's not.
Speaker 1 (15:29):
I don't think it's rice. I think it's like these
plastic hard plastic pellets.
Speaker 3 (15:36):
Yeah, kind of like beads.
Speaker 1 (15:39):
Dave says he just got back from running errands and
we talked about you and Tom Cruise and the Tom
Cruise movie. But we're going to talk more about that
on Bushead Radio. So Gretchen, you're gonna have to tell
us again because I did you find the name of
the movie, Todd?
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Oh, hang on, continue to win the Bee.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
The Razor story, okay, cool, or at least something like that,
something about BB Razor.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
You know, I was in a movie with.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Bo Derek and it still hadn't come out.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
No, it came out, but they changed the name of it.
When the Starbright hasn't come out yet, But that wasn't
the one with Bo Derek. The one that I filmed
in gu Through with Bo Derek. It was I can't
even remember what it was called. And then when it
came out it was like something to do with Christmas,
completely different name, and I was like.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Was there a Santa Claus or a Christmas tree anywhere
in your in your peripheral vision?
Speaker 1 (16:42):
No, because I was in just one country club scene.
Uh yeah, I can't even remember.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Kenny, I guess the cabin was very cool, Dave. It
was very cool, literally cool. It never got over.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
Well, we'll go over Buzzhead Radio.
Speaker 5 (17:02):
Yep, Hey, Shelley, Shelley checking in.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
We'll talk all about the cabin and the cutthroat trout.
Speaker 1 (17:10):
Some of you late comers we've got, and then and
I'm going to talk a little bit about the Banana
Seat Squad.
Speaker 5 (17:17):
But I promised to.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Get a Zinkies podcast episode where I'm going to give
you guys an update on the Banana Seat Squad book
and everything else going on.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
Everybody got their T shirts, no, but.
Speaker 1 (17:32):
I I had to wait for him to get because somebody,
somebody requested one and I wanted to give him so
I did. They just came in so I told him,
so his is gonna be in the mail tomorrow.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
Okay. So yeah, so to stay on this guy because
he's so they are.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
Yeah, Dave, did you see my message to you? You're
I don't know if you can see it. Your t
shirts right here, because he had left a comment last
a month ago and he said, am I gonna get
this one?
Speaker 5 (18:02):
And so that's the one I got him?
Speaker 3 (18:04):
Which it is. Yeah, matter, there it is, Dave, It's.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
Coming, It's coming, It's on the way.
Speaker 3 (18:14):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
He went to high school where we filmed back in
eighty nine. That's when the movie takes place, so back
in the eighties.
Speaker 3 (18:23):
He was on the set.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
He was actually the first person I met when I
got there at six am last Friday.
Speaker 3 (18:29):
Well, very cool. Yeah, So what's the movie about?
Speaker 5 (18:32):
I think it's She told me it was a sports movie.
Speaker 1 (18:35):
At one point, Philip Carrie says, how many of you
had one of those musical horns in your car in
the seventies? Did you have You didn't have a musical one,
but did you have a weird horn?
Speaker 3 (18:48):
No? No, somebody had like a loud horn.
Speaker 5 (18:51):
I can't remember who it was.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
I put in an ouga horn on my dad's truck.
Oh yeah, no, I didn't remember they had those. They
were like program do you could? Yeah, like five different
Did you have one?
Speaker 3 (19:04):
Philip? Did you have a musical horn? I wasn't putting
that on my car.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Todd wouldn't put a musical horn in his car, but
he did you tape the McDonald's trash can lead to
your hood?
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Or did we? Just you almost had to have it
would have fallen off.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
I did. It looked like a scoop, but it was
a McDonald's trash can.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
So I had a seventy two Caprice, which is basically
an Impala two door, two door, and it was the
one with the curved windshield or back window was curved.
And one day we went we were in McDonald's, cruising, cruising,
we pulled into McDonald's and that's back when McDonald's had
(19:47):
these trash cans outside, and it had that that scoopy
thing where you like, and it had a flappy deal.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Flappy deal, and I was like, you know what that
looks like a hood scoop?
Speaker 1 (20:00):
And I guess I had some and it actually I
think it was kind of brown like your car.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
But it was dark, yeah, it was, it was.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
And so I somehow I think I just had electrical
tape and tape that thing to my car. It went
up and down Van Buren, and I got so many
people like wanting to race me.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
I say so many. There's at least at least one.
At least one guy's like a hoot scoop on your car.
So you must have like some kind of intakeers. I
mean it did.
Speaker 5 (20:27):
It looked like it was some type of heart.
Speaker 3 (20:29):
It was huge.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
It was Yeah, it was ridiculous looking.
Speaker 5 (20:33):
Bill's checking it.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Bill, your I have not mailed your mailing shirts tomorrow,
so your shirt will be in the mail. Nobody's really responded.
We got a thumb up, but we may go live
this weekend, uh at the ENID Cruise.
Speaker 5 (20:48):
So hey, Chauncey. Chauncey checking in.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
He played the football team and they got in the
wrong crowd and ended up spending years in prison.
Speaker 3 (20:55):
And then he turned the laughing around. Oh good for him. Yeah,
what a good story. Oh so it's a true story.
Pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (21:03):
Yeah, yeah, So anyway, Yeah McDonald's trashcan lids can.
Speaker 5 (21:12):
Be hoodscoops or your car, Yes they can.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
I don't know how that damn things did on there.
Speaker 5 (21:17):
You must have been driving slow or something.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
So I was going through the uh oh from what
the Fall previews that Jason had sent us, and I
thank you Jason.
Speaker 1 (21:30):
But before I got into we'd kind of looked through them,
but I didn't really like examine them, and I thought,
I wonder if there's a nineteen seventy seven in there,
And sure enough, here it is. Yeah, Fall preview from
nineteen seventy seven. So I was going to kind of
go through there and read a few.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
That was a great year. Yeah. So I tell you what, this.
Speaker 5 (21:50):
Book is going to be so fun.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
It's it's not only a story of boys growing up
in Enid in the seventies, but there's going to be
tons of references to nineteen seventy seven throughout the book
that you're gonna have to It's like you're gonna read
it and then you're going to be like, oh, Google Google.
Speaker 3 (22:11):
Should we google these things now?
Speaker 2 (22:14):
I mean, like when something comes up, like, I'm gonna
google that to remember it better.
Speaker 3 (22:18):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (22:19):
I think I think there's just gonna be some subtle
things that by the end of the book you're going
to be like, oh, now I get what those are
and what those are, so any I mean, I'm sprinkling
it with all kinds of cool stuff.
Speaker 3 (22:29):
When's it going to audiobook? Because I can't.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
No, you're going to have to read it. Come on, hey,
john Zy, so real quick. So Saturday morning, and this
was the Fall, the Fall preview, so a lot of
these were debuting.
Speaker 1 (22:42):
But Man cartoons started at the Good Ones at six
thirty what and then seven seven am was the premiere
of CB Bears it was their debut, and super Friends
was on at seven am.
Speaker 3 (22:57):
Okay, so that this was at the tail end of
a cartooning.
Speaker 1 (23:01):
Yeah, and then I remember Bugs Money being on at
seven because it was always on early, and Johnny Quest
was on at seven point thirty.
Speaker 3 (23:10):
Laugh.
Speaker 5 (23:11):
Olympics debuted at eight o'clock.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
Mister Magoo was debuted at eight o'clock.
Speaker 5 (23:19):
A show a cartoon called Skatebirds on CBS.
Speaker 1 (23:24):
It debuted costumed actors play the three colorful birds who
serve as hosts for the animated series The Robanic Stooges
Wonder Wheels.
Speaker 3 (23:36):
Anybody remember the Skatebirds.
Speaker 5 (23:38):
And Woofer and Whimper?
Speaker 3 (23:41):
Do not remember those guys? Yeah? I don't really remember
those either.
Speaker 1 (23:48):
I did a TikTok video yesterday talking about cereals.
Speaker 5 (23:54):
A lot of people their favorite cereal was King Vitamin.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
Do you remember think had King down.
Speaker 1 (24:01):
Here, it's gonna say, I don't remember ever seeing a
King Vitamin. Anybody out there remember King Vitamin cereal?
Speaker 3 (24:09):
Yeah? No? Uh?
Speaker 1 (24:10):
And then we get to I don't remember this cartoon
And again this is nineteen seventy seven, debuting at nine
thirty am, The Adventures of Mohammad Ali, a cartoon that
was voiced by Muhammad Ali.
Speaker 2 (24:23):
Sure, yeah no, uh, Space Academy don't remember that either.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
Heckel and Jackyl remember those guys?
Speaker 1 (24:30):
And then a new show started at ten o'clock called Thunder,
And then there was again Bugs, Bunny and Friends, and
then Tarzan Batman and Tarzan Croft Super Show.
Speaker 3 (24:43):
Oh I remember those guys. Yeah, yeah, I got some.
Speaker 5 (24:49):
Gretchen loved King Vitamin.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
What was he'd be the bad boy in your book?
Do you know anyone going to GDH what that means?
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (24:59):
King Vitamin wasn't that good? Philip, Philip cary S doesn't
one that good? Gretchen love King Vitamin? H?
Speaker 5 (25:09):
I do kind of remember the Beatles cartoon, Dave.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
I think everybody had a cartoon at one time. Yeah,
you know all those guys.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
Like Dave wants to be the bad Boy. Did you
know anyone going to trying to think of what would
that be?
Speaker 2 (25:24):
JD h Oh, like juvenile detention or something juvenile detention hall?
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Is that what you're asking Dave?
Speaker 3 (25:32):
JD h.
Speaker 5 (25:34):
Let's see, I did not know.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
We did not, although we did know some people that
should should have been gone.
Speaker 1 (25:42):
Maybe it's because we didn't have a juvenile detention home
that they didn't go.
Speaker 5 (25:48):
Yeah, because there should have. There was some guys. There's
current Kirk checking an Acre. Larry didn't I think Larry
was Larry on earlier. Let's see Wide Role of Sports
was on in the afternoon and then.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Then act they got into college football. But anyway, it's
kind of fun going through here and seeing some of
the shows that debuted Spider Man, Spy, Charlie's Angels with Charlie's.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
Angels now that was seventy seven. That would have been
without Pharaoh. Yeah, yeah, she was only on one season,
believe it or not.
Speaker 5 (26:22):
Welcome Back caught her, Welcome Back, the Waltons.
Speaker 1 (26:26):
All the Goodies, all the goodies, breaking windows with rocks
with front now we did that.
Speaker 5 (26:31):
We just never got caught.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
We did.
Speaker 5 (26:35):
We did stuff that would have got you put in
detention haul.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
We just never got caught.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
Now, Okay, every time I go down Highway eighty one
and I go through Dover and I go past the
old Greenhouse, and I remember you telling me or you
guys talking about throwing something at that greenhouse.
Speaker 3 (26:56):
But that's way off the road.
Speaker 5 (26:59):
Well, we would pull over.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Oh okay, I thought you were doing it as you.
Speaker 1 (27:02):
Oh no, no, yeah, no, we would pull over, and
I think we would just pick up rocks off the
side of the road and.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
Chunk them over there. That's terrible.
Speaker 1 (27:11):
We were in high school, and I mean, would it
have like two hundred windows and like one hundred and
fifty of them were already broken out, So it wasn't
really it was kind of like the thing to do.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
One time we took my sixty two Chevy and turned
off the lights and drove into the biggest park and
park in the middle of Enid Champlain Park and I drove.
Speaker 5 (27:41):
Should I even be saying.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
This, I don't know. I don't think I was there.
Oh you weren't.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
We did We did donuts. I did donuts in Champlain Park.
And then when I was leaving, because I had my
lights off, I didn't see the tree that they had
just planted and ran right over.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
In front of Champlain Yeah, oh shit, Yeah, don't tell Rick.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
It was like right in front of Rick's house, right
literally where where I was leaving Champlain Park to get
back on the road was like literally right in front
of it.
Speaker 5 (28:11):
And there was a they had planted a.
Speaker 1 (28:12):
Little tree there, and it was I had turned my
lights off so nobody would see me, and I ran
right over that tree.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
So I was not there, had nothing to do with that,
So you weren't.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
That must have been like a Steve Voss for ye
hours at night.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (28:30):
I don't know if that's if I should be mentioning
that or not.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
It's already on the air.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
And I guess it's already out there.
Speaker 3 (28:37):
I think the what do they call it, the Statute
of Limitations passed.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
That's what I'm kind of thinking.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Philip likes Captain Crunch with the Crunchberry's. I have not
been to Disney Oklahoma. Have you been to Disney Oklahoma.
Speaker 3 (28:50):
There's a Disney Oklahoma.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
There is, but I don't know what would be there.
Have you been a slap out.
Speaker 3 (28:58):
We've been Yeah, yeah, on the way to red River.
Yeah yeah, it's you're not listening to nothing.
Speaker 5 (29:09):
Yeah, no, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
No, haveing not been to Disney. There's Seth Jenkins checking in.
Seth's from the old Broadway days.
Speaker 5 (29:16):
Yeah, not much there. Yeah, we need you to cruise.
Speaker 1 (29:21):
Oh, we need to uh, you know what we need
to do, Philip is, uh, you need to keep me
informed on like a big junk show in Tulsa, and
we can meet like in the middle and go to
some big seventies junk show or something over in Tulsa
and we'll meet you over there. And you know, like
where they have a thing where like two hundred people
(29:42):
set up booze and sell old vintage junk.
Speaker 3 (29:47):
Well it's not junk. If it's some seventies, well, you know,
some people call. Maybe you might have a somebody might
have an egg chair there that I want. What's up, Seth.
Speaker 5 (29:55):
Chauncey's on here somewhere around here somewhere. I don't know
if he's still on, so Seth.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
This is the new T shirt for the Banana Seat
Squad from all the boys that played there on West Broadway.
Speaker 5 (30:10):
Back in the seventies. The book is cruising along.
Speaker 1 (30:16):
I'll give an update on my Zoinkies podcast this week
on the update on the book.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
So, uh, what else? No audiobook? Audiobook will be Uh,
Steve's got all his stuff on audiobook, Yeah, but he
didn't at first. What's it take to get it on audiobook?
Speaker 1 (30:37):
I wonder just literally, probably just a studio. You just
go in and record it and then send it to.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Yeah. No, I haven't even nobody's even ready yet. You
gotta somebody's got to read it before I do audio.
I can read.
Speaker 1 (30:52):
So the fun part about the book is I'm literally
writing it as a movie because I know it's going
to be a movie. So it's like it's like I've
got all these scenes that I'd be like, if I
was just writing a book, I probably wouldn't put that in.
Speaker 3 (31:06):
The in the book.
Speaker 5 (31:07):
But because it's going to be a movie that's going
to be big?
Speaker 3 (31:12):
Can I be a creative consultant on the movie? Sure?
Speaker 5 (31:16):
That reminds me, Curtis, you said that you bypassed the.
Speaker 3 (31:19):
Long lines at Disney. Aren't those the best rides? Yes?
Speaker 5 (31:25):
Yeah, that's why we bypassed the line.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
You wouldn't want to bypass the line to a crappy ride.
Why is he?
Speaker 1 (31:31):
I'm sure Michael throwing us a bone there, Thanks Michael.
Speaker 3 (31:37):
Dave.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
I'm also going to do a I'm I'm behind, but
when I do my Disney podcast episode, I've got some
footage of the difference between the people standing in the
regular line and us in the lightning line lane to
show you. But the thing about and I just I
don't want to get we'll talk about Disney on I
(32:00):
don't want to keep talking about Disney. There's ways, there's
ways of not standing in line, and it's all got
to do with money and apps. And so if you
book times on the app, you don't stand in line,
and wheelchairs in wheelchairs.
Speaker 3 (32:15):
But yeah, so.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
For Philip, I would meet you, I wouldn't. I probably
wouldn't drive over. If they had a junk show for sixty.
Speaker 3 (32:25):
Stuff, oh heck no, why would you do that?
Speaker 1 (32:28):
And you know there was not really enough cool stuff
in the eighties to even sell.
Speaker 5 (32:32):
But the junk from the seventies was the best. And
why is that, mister.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Wheelers, Because that was the greatest decade not to man.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Thanks Michael Hey, Kelly, Kelly finally found us, Kelly. Things
going well there in Florida, Kelly. Any girl crushes in
your book? Actually there is, Dave, there is going to
be a cross they're actually but it's not what you
think it's. I can't give away too much much, but yeah,
(33:00):
there is going to be a girl crush. Yes, Lisa, No,
this is Oh no, No, I don't I haven't even
found a spot for that person yet.
Speaker 2 (33:13):
Nokay, I don't think she listens to this podcast.
Speaker 3 (33:18):
But yeah, no, so is it. I might I might
have to fictitious person or someone. Yeah, okay, but I
might have.
Speaker 5 (33:27):
To build in like a real so one one of
the Yeah, I.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
Don't mean one, you know, because I've been anyway.
Speaker 5 (33:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (33:37):
Next, Tulsa Flea Market is June twenty eighth. A babysitter.
I'm not sure what babysitter. Did you see Thor down there?
Thorn could go with us? You gonna go Tulsa? Thor, Hey,
Thor Thor.
Speaker 1 (33:54):
Remember I still have two banana seat bikes you can
use for the movie.
Speaker 3 (33:59):
Awesome. Hey, Kelly.
Speaker 1 (34:03):
Yeah, so I'm gonna need uh yeah, So Todd keeps
giving me poo poo for buying all this stuff. I'm
just wait till that movie comes out. In all everything
you see in this room is in that movie, and
everybody's like.
Speaker 3 (34:15):
Wow, where they get all that stuff.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
Like that came out of Oh, babysit Now I got you, Bill.
Speaker 3 (34:24):
No, I think we're all beyond.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Although there could be a babysitter on the block, some
a little crush on the babysitter. Yeah, oh you know what, Actually,
now that you say that, I did think of.
Speaker 5 (34:38):
So when we played Dave, Dave's house was bass.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
And the house next door had the O'Neill twins. They
were sisters and they were good looking, so we might
have to do a little older.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
Yeah they were older.
Speaker 5 (34:57):
Yeah, probably like four or five years old.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
On that video where it shows the chicks butt in
the bikini, Yeah, there's it's just real quick.
Speaker 5 (35:08):
I think that might be one of the O'Neill's girls.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
If it wasn't Bruce's sister, it was one of the
O'Neill girls.
Speaker 3 (35:17):
Bruce had two sisters.
Speaker 5 (35:22):
Christopher Todd checking in, Hey Christopher to.
Speaker 3 (35:25):
Where are your being? Brother? Kap's been on there for
a while. I always thought Connie was kind of cute.
Speaker 5 (35:32):
See, haven't even built in his sister.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
Yet what this is fiction? This is fiction. I always
thought Connie was cute.
Speaker 5 (35:40):
I haven't got uh.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
So disturbing. I'm not. I'm not.
Speaker 5 (35:49):
Nobody's hooking up with my sister in the book.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Sorry, all right, but damn it. There you go.
Speaker 1 (35:55):
Yeah, you write your book and everybody can hook up
with my sister.
Speaker 3 (35:58):
Yes, Bill, we all had a fair crush. Every way
at a fair crush?
Speaker 1 (36:03):
Is Michael Norris kin to Chuck? I don't know who
Chuck Norris?
Speaker 5 (36:11):
I don't you never know?
Speaker 1 (36:12):
Sub Christopher Todd, how's the uh, how's the album?
Speaker 5 (36:18):
Are you done?
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Oh? Yeah, when's that thing coming on the vinyl? He
was watching The Mandalorian.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
I'm way behind on the Mandalorian, way behind, like a
season behind.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
I'm like way behind on TV. I literally came home
from vacation and got really interested in writing the book
and doing all this extra stuff for the book. And
I never even turned the TV on. I really, I
really so all weekend Denise went to Norman. I don't
think I turned the TV on one time, like Friday
and Saturday night, didn't watch one movie nothing.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
I don't know. Oh, Christopher Todd says, it's done.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
Woo starting to work on the first video. You well,
I tell you that VO three, it could create some
really cool videos where you don't have to have any actors.
I mean, I hate to say that, but so I'm
on this, I'm having this quandary, which we can talk
more about on Buzzhead Radio, about the whole AI thing,
(37:17):
because there's this this thing came down on Facebook that said, hey,
write your own song on Songer, and that's where I
wrote those two songs on. And then if you read
the comments on the ads for Songer, you know, there's
half the people that say it's really cool and then
half the people say that it's going to put people
out of business. But I'm thinking AMI is not going
(37:38):
to replace Christopher Todd. He has a band, They have faces,
they have personalities, they have the way that they dress,
they get on stage.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
AI is not going to replace see AI on stage.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
But I couldn't go to Christopher Todd and say, hey,
I've got this four minute video of some pictures, will
you guys write me a full blown song for free?
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Sure? And so that's where so AI is kind of.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
A tool that allowed me to get the music for
the seventies video that I did.
Speaker 5 (38:12):
Now, if I want to.
Speaker 1 (38:13):
Put that song in the movie, I'll go to Christopher
Todd and I'll say, hey, here's the song that this
AI came up with that I kind of like take
it from there and do something similar, but let's make
it right real and then I can when people say hey,
who's doing that song, I don't have to say AI.
Speaker 5 (38:32):
I can say a band.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
Yeah, So like maybe at a turning point in the
movie or at the end of the movie, or you.
Speaker 3 (38:40):
Know, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:42):
So my problem is going to be copyright song copyrights,
because I heard that the most expensive part of Dazed
and Confused was the music, and so they have a
lot of really good yeah, so if I want to
(39:03):
include the songs that I want to include. So I
have found a way of including the songs in the
book because I can do it for free. But including
those songs in the movie is going to be expensive.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
So using AI.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
Making the characters I created actually move around, it's pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (39:22):
I think. Yeah, I was going to replace music industry
as we know it. There will be people in rooms
creating songs all day. No more musicians, royalties, no more artists. Oh,
don't give up on that. I don't think it.
Speaker 2 (39:37):
No, I think it's like Curtis said, it will always
be a place for musicians because.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
Like I said, you can't go watch AI.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
Yeah, I mean, AI will replace certain things. But look
at me, I was a logo designer. I would never
try to be a logo designer today. I can't compete everybody.
All you gotta do is download a free programmer.
Speaker 3 (39:57):
Go to one of the.
Speaker 1 (39:58):
Free websites and you get it'll create eighty different logos
for you. So I mean, so my industry of cartoon
logos and logos is toast.
Speaker 3 (40:07):
But now I don't know.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
I don't I think AI in the music industry and
the movie industry, if you use it as a tool,
it's just it's the people that are going to pretend
like it's more than what it is, like people that
are going to try to pass off a movie that's
not AI when it is, or a song that's not
(40:30):
a anyway. We talk about that later on the other show.
I have found music on Spotify that I like and
then found out later it was AI. Yeah, I mean
the two songs that I have on SoundCloud that are
about the seventies. So this thing called songer, you type
in what you want the song to be about. Well,
(40:51):
I typed in like a bunch of stuff, so it's
my memories of the seventies.
Speaker 5 (40:56):
And then it gives.
Speaker 1 (40:57):
You like thirty different or forty different sound like rock, dark, vibrant, orchestra,
and you can pick up to five and then you
click and it gives you a one minute version of
the song, and if you like it, then you pay
for it and you get five songs for twenty dollars.
If you don't like it, you can just keep creating
(41:20):
and keep changing it. So so the song it wrote
all the pretty much all the lyrics for me, It
just added the music, just arranged it.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
Yeah, so should we have AI do Midnight Dreaming?
Speaker 1 (41:34):
That's so funny you say that, because I was going
to It's really hard to predict what the music's going
to be. It's super that's it. Literally the two songs
that I did. My account on SoundCloud is under shags,
but I don't know that you can find it. But
it literally probably took me at least thirty tries before
(41:57):
I got to a version that I like, And so
you can't it's really hard predicting what the music is
going to we could put all.
Speaker 3 (42:04):
The words in there.
Speaker 1 (42:06):
I think there's a I think there's like an upgrade
version where you can give it the exact lyrics.
Speaker 5 (42:12):
But I don't know how well you can control the music.
But that's funny you say that because I was thinking.
Speaker 3 (42:16):
I was thought.
Speaker 1 (42:18):
I kept thinking, we ought to put Midnight Dreaming in there.
See what it comes up with.
Speaker 3 (42:23):
Finally get that song out there.
Speaker 1 (42:26):
Well, it'll have to be in the movie, so it'll
get out there.
Speaker 3 (42:34):
I can hardly wait.
Speaker 1 (42:37):
Dream Yeah, I mean you've got to be careful of that.
Let's talk about AI on Bushead Radio. They days asking questions.
You are just proving my point. AI is a future
of music.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
Yeah, I mean it's a tool. It's a tool.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
It's a tool, but it's not going to replace live musician,
you know, so I don't know.
Speaker 5 (42:59):
It's a tool.
Speaker 1 (43:00):
It's definitely going to be a too, It's definitely going
to be a tool for everything.
Speaker 3 (43:03):
It's not like when Mode came out with a synthesizer.
Speaker 1 (43:06):
Well, see, that's what my point is. People that say
I would never like go to an AI movie, well,
almost every animated movie is AI. Now they an animator
doesn't draw every cell like.
Speaker 5 (43:17):
They did back.
Speaker 1 (43:18):
Yeah, it's all you do the first few things, and
then AI takes over in the computer.
Speaker 3 (43:23):
So it's just a tool and it's just how you
use I.
Speaker 1 (43:27):
Don't know anyway, but that's going to be part of
my book too, which is kind of cool. Is and
I don't want to tell too much, but the boys
are back in the seventies and they're finding out some
of the stuff.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
That's happening in the future. So it's kind of a
there's got to good multiverse. Are you not really multiverse?
Thank god? No, nothing multiverse has been done all day.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
Hell no, I'm trying to make it as even as
unbelievable as it will be. I'm trying to make it like,
oh well, I guess that could bank Bee happened. So anyway,
let's see Cruziers. Todd says, eventually there will be no
artists who perform the songs people love because they were
created by a machine.
Speaker 3 (44:10):
But we always want to go see live bands.
Speaker 1 (44:13):
Yeah, which I guess you could like Boston. He recorded
the whole album by himself in the basement and then
got a band and went out on the road. I
guess you could create all the songs and then go
form a band afterward back in seventy.
Speaker 3 (44:28):
I don't know. We'll see, we'll see it where it goes.
Speaker 5 (44:30):
But anyway, have we doing on time?
Speaker 3 (44:33):
I don't have no idea. Let's do some trivia. I
got you set of cards over there.
Speaker 1 (44:37):
So so I've got, oh Bill a T shirt, I've
got Dave a T shirt, and so we're going to
do another T shirt. It's going this T shirt is
going to be an en a T shirt. So what
I got one on right now could be that one
right there?
Speaker 3 (44:52):
Well, not this exact one. Not the exact one. Or
let me think, if somebody's at the front door, why.
Speaker 5 (45:02):
I can't check it on my phone?
Speaker 3 (45:04):
So well, thor who's at the front door? Get him? Thor?
I wonder, probably squirrel or something.
Speaker 5 (45:11):
Now when she tells me, that usually means somebody rang
the doorbell.
Speaker 3 (45:16):
Maybe not.
