Speaker 1 (00:10):
Good morning everybody. This is Sean Copelan. Welcome to another
brand new, life changing edition of the ninety four X
Kingdom Driven CEO. And today is October the twenty sixth.
Thank you fake applause. People appreciate you, guys. So I

(00:31):
had a great week last week. Was in the office
all week, no traveling. It was amazing. My grandma Charlotte
went into the hospital because of an infection. She is ninety.
She's thought she was ninety five. We just learned she's
really ninety six years old. She's been wrong about her
age her entire life. But she is better. She is

(00:54):
back home, so that is awesome. Had another good football win.
The Metro Patriots are still in defeated. Finn got a
couple of more touchdowns this week, which was great, and
the OSU Cowboys lost.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Again forty two to nothing. Now this week is huge.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
So Monday night we're gonna have a celebration dinner for
a merger slash acquisition. We are doing of a bank
in Florida called DLP Bank. So we're gonna have a
big celebration dinner Monday night for them. Tuesday all day
is the ninety four X Faith At work Summit.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
It is from eight to three.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
We have literally like ten tickets left, so if you
would like to join us, I'm telling you it's a
game changer. Go to ninety four Xmovement dot com and
click on summit.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
And then on.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
Friday, of course is Halloween, but that is when we
will actually have the closing of our merger. So it's
gonna be a very very big wee. I'm super excited.
I'm also really excited to share with you this today's
teaching and I think you're gonna really like it. Let

(02:10):
me give you a little background on kind of where
it came from. So I do taekwondo, and as many
of you know, I've done it for years and years.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
I got my.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Black belt, I stopped there at the first or Greek
black belt, but I still do the workouts. And my
taekwondo instructor is one of my best friends, even though
he does torture me extensively, and he's alway, he's very motivating.
He came here with nothing from South Korea and has
built a great business and he's always given me these

(02:41):
little sayings and things that kind of stick in my mind.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
And one of the things that he did was he
gave me this.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
He texted me this little saying, and it says a
shark and a fish tank will grow eight inches, but
in the ocean it will grow eight feet or more.
The shark will never outgrow its in environment. And the
same is true about you. Many times we're around small people,
so we don't grow. Change your environment and watch your growth.
So I started doing a study around you can't grow

(03:12):
in a fish tank. And the key scripture that we're
going to use today is Proverbs thirteen twenty. Walk with
the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools
suffers harm. And I want you to think about this.
We are and I know you've heard this before, but
we are the sum of the five people that we

(03:35):
are around the most. Okay, so keep that in mind,
and let's kind of jump in. Let's let this sink
in for a minute. Remember, you can't become an ocean
sized person if you live in a fish tank world.
You can't fulfill your God size calling if you surround
yourself with people who think.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Small, dream small, prey small, and believe small.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Some of us are ocean sharks, study in goldfish bowls,
swimming in circles, wondering why life feels so cramped. You
grow to the size of your environment. Proverbs twenty seven
seventeen says, as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
God designed you for expansion, to grow in faith and

(04:18):
love and leadership and wisdom. But growth requires the right environment.
Just like the shark, your potential is capped by the
space and people around you. If you're the smartest person
in your group, congratulations. You need a new group. The
early Disciples grew because they spent time with Jesus, not

(04:41):
just hearing about him, but being around him. When Peter
was near Jesus, he walked on water. When he hung
around Dowters, he sank. Who is your circle? Are they
pulling you toward your calling or keeping you comfortable in
your tank? You are the product of your five closest friends.

(05:01):
First Corinthians fifteen thirty three says, do not be misled.
Bad company corrupts good character. You become like the people
you spend the most time with. Your five closest friends
determine your future. If your five closest friends complain, you'll complain.
If they dream big, you'll start dreaming big. If they
walk in faith, you'll start walking in faith. Show me

(05:24):
your friends, and I'll show you your future. Jesus inner circle.
He loved the world. He taught the crowds, and he
trained the seventy two, but he walked deeply with twelve
and within those an inner circle of three Peter, James
and John. Even Jesus knew you can't take everyone into

(05:48):
your inner circle. It's okay to love everyone, but not
walk closely with everyone. Not everyone can swim in deep
water with you. Make a list this week if you're
five close influences.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Do they stretch your faith? Do they make you better?
Or do they keep you small?

Speaker 1 (06:06):
And if you don't have an inner circle, I want
to encourage you. Number one, you should have an inner
circle of three to five people. Number two you should
be discipled by somebody that walks closely with the Lord.
And number three you should disciple others. Jesus Disciple twelve.

(06:26):
I am in the process of finding my twelve that
I am going to start discipling as well. If you
change your environment, you will change your life. Romans twelve
to two says, do not conform to the pattern of
this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Sometimes God can't bless you where you are, not because

(06:48):
he doesn't want to, but because the space is too
small for what he wants to do. Abraham had to
leave his hometown before God could multiply him. Ruth had
to leave Moab before she found both as the disciples
had to leave their nets before they could follow Jesus,
you can't take ocean dreams into fish tank friendships.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Encourage people. Excuse me.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
I want to encourage you to seek environments of faith,
encouragement and challenge. Seek mentors who speak life into you.
Seek communities like Church ninety four X, small groups that
expand your mindset, and stop letting people who have never
left the fish tank give you advice about the ocean.

(07:34):
Growth requires courage. Joshua one nine says, be strong and courageous,
Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the
Lord or God will be with you wherever you go.
Leaving your fish tank is scary. You means stepping out
into the unknown, deeper water, bigger wave, stronger currents. But
that's where God does his best work. God never called

(07:57):
you a comfort, He called you to capacity. When you
step out, God provides new people, new opportunities, new faith.
Growth always feels risky, but staying small is riskier. So
in conclusion, watch your growth, change your environment, and watch
your growth. Let's ask ourselves today, what's our fish tank?

(08:21):
What environment is limiting our faith, vision or purpose? Who
do we need to start spending more time with and
who do we need to stop spending less time with.
God is calling you out of the tank and into
the ocean, out of comfort and into your calling. Don't
settle for eight inches when God made you for eight feet.

(08:43):
And I'm going to tell you practically speaking here as
we close, ninety four Eggs has a leader round tables.
This is very, very inexpensive for the price of a membership,
which right now is half off at forty seven dollars
a month. For the price of one membership, you get everything, okay,
the round table, the online community, all of the resources

(09:06):
that we have to offer. We're getting ready to roll
out chapters in all of our markets. All of that
is included for the one low price. We just want
you to grow. So if you need an ocean to join,
I want to encourage you to join a ninety four
X chapter and consider joining a round table.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
The chapter is kind.

Speaker 1 (09:29):
Of like rotary with a faith at work emphasis, and
the round tables are like your own advisory board that
goes much deeper to help you and you help them.
We want to be here for you, we want to
help you grow. I also want to encourage you to
get involved in a Bible based church. I think it's

(09:50):
very important. God created us to be in fellowship with
one another, so I think having the perspective of church
is very very critical. Having a reset once or twice
a week, having a community of people you can count
on is very very important. So please pay attention to
the people that are the closest to you in your life.

(10:13):
Thank you so much for joining us, and I'm going
to close this out in prayer. Do your heavenly Father
give us the courage to change our environment, to walk
with the wise, to swim in deep water, and to
become everything you created us to be. Father, we love you,
We thank you that you are a God of new
beginnings and you are a god of growth. Please bless

(10:35):
us and take us to new heights today in Jesus' name.
A man and I want to thank you all so
much for attending this edition of the ninety four X
Kingdom Driven CEO, and.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
I really really really hope to see all.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Of you at the ninety four X Summit on Tuesday
here in Tulsa eighty first and Lewis Oral Roberts University.
Thank you so much, and I have a wonderful week.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
