A Conservative and a Liberal walk into a bar.... (well, they met in a bar). Seemingly worlds apart, different political, religious & social idealogies found friendship in finding common ground. Thus began: The Allman - Diamond Experience, the Podcast. More about Allman & Diamond: Jamie Allman (the "conservative"): 38 year veteran in tv and radio,15 time Emmy recipient, creator of "Common Sense Radio". Judi Diamond (the "liberal"): ACM, Marconi award winning radio talent heard daily multiple markets "Billy & Judi", pioneer of Mommy podcasting, Creator/star docuseries MFF on Nickeleodeon. Can their common ground and friendship spark better conversations between parties? That's their hope as Allman and Diamond are willing to put their reputations on the line and risk the love of their dedicated fan bases, in order to challenge others to see past "labels", and forge deeper connections. They will take on the major issues, of course, but first, they will learn about one another. Isn't that what we as humans should be doing first, before we decide to make judgements? Perhaps then, we can begin to communicate and listen, value and compromise for real solutions. Can we still be individuals, yet united as one whole?
