my friend Roddley Lewis on Fridays. And we might even
be launching more podcasts here at AWAYN in the very
near future because they like them. People are liking them,
and I love the Format' about you, I mean you're
half my age. Of course you do, because your generation
likes the podcast long form chat interview style way more

than traditional talk news, which you and I do for
an or regular you know, our half hour newscasts. Your
generation don't like those very much? Do they not so much? Which? Why?
Why is that? I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
I think they just think it's too programmatic to it
just feels scripted. I've talked about this before. It's just
it's more authentic, it's laid back. It's the format, it's
the fact that you can get to know someone truly.
You don't always know who's behind the desk in the studio,
but this kind of environment, it just lends itself to that.
So you get to know plable in a way that
you just want it otherwise and we live in a fake, plastic,
superficial world these I think, Yeah, so people they just

crave the authenticity, and this lends itself to that.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Here's what I think is funny about that statement, And
I agree with you by the way, that your generation
likes this because you get the time, because a lot
of petcasts are one to three hours, and so you're
going to get to know those people more, build a
report and relationship by seeing and learning more about them
than a quick twenty two minute newscast, twenty eight minute
whatever it is because it commercials. But here's what I'll say.

Your generation doesn't like to watch longer than a thirty
second or one minute video on social media because I've
been told by the experts that if I do something
that's like crazy longer than a minute or two, nobody
will watch it. But then you want to watch an
hour to three hour long podcast, not a half hour
newscast or a half hour talk show where like you're
a nice talk show, we do like four or five

guests every night, so each segment's about ten minutes long.
Those are too long. But a TikTok video, if it's
more than thirty five or forty seconds, you guys won't
watch it. Yeah, it makes no sense to me.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
It's ironic. But the thing I will say, with podcasting,
you can just listen to it and do other stuff,
so it works for people to have issues, that's the
critical thing.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
So you're saying your generation has attention issues.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
I think it's fair to say that I do. And
I don't want to go after anybody, but it's true.
It's not deniable. You have really five to ten seconds
to capture the retention and it's gonna last for thirty seconds.
That's really it. I don't know where that comes from.
I don't understand why this generation is like that, but
that seems to be the case.

Well, I'm digging the format, and so, like I said,
I think very shortly, because there's some things in the works.

seems to wait to hear more like there's a genuine connection.

So it's been a crazy week in the news world
from President Donald Trump doing a whirlwind tour of the
Middle East and now there's talks of nominating him for
a Nobel Peace Prize, which he should get. The did
he trial? Did you see some of that disgusting testimony?
Holy cow. We'll get into that with our special guest tonight.

Markets are doing well right, some of the trade tariff
wars are starting to calm down. Everybody freak out. What
are some of the headlines that you've been following monitoring
this week?

Oh well, the Supreme Court case of course about birthright citizenship.

Speaker 2 (06:03):
That was a big one today, huge or that was yesterday,
pardon me on Thursday?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. His store case going on there,
really very eager. The way I see it, Trump is
doing everything that conservatives and Republicans before him said they
cared about, securing the border, getting prices under control, standing
up to China. Finally, all the things that his predecessors
said they cared about but didn't do. He's actually doing,
and they're going after him for it. All the resistance

he faces, it's like he's got two opposition parties sometimes.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
Did you not see the stupid ladies on the view
trying to throw Trump under the bus for lowering drug prices?
What it's like, Oh my god, listen, dude, Wait, Trump
told you this. He's damned if he does. Damned if
he doesn't. He could walk out and go. Bobby and
I just cured cancer and AIDS, and we stopped every
war and conflict on the planet. We got inflation down.

We just created ten million new jobs in the country.
He deported all the illegals, We solved homeless veterans. And
they would go, you lie in sob you're a cheat,
you're a piece that, you're a Nazi, you're a It
wouldn't matter, dude, it would not matter what the man does.
They're always going to throw shade on Donald Trump. Com

their TDS syndrome is it's flaring up. Man. It's like, oh,
it's all over me. They can't they can't stop themselves
from just paying the man a compliment for something positive.
He's done, and the list after one hundred and whatever
days it is is a huge list. But they can't
even pick one.

When DJ Daniel when he honored DJ Daniel and made
him an honorary Secret Service member, Yeah, not a single
Democrat stands and applause giving that kid's story too.

What does that show you right there?

Completely?

I had that kid on my show two or three times,
and his pops, you know, his dad's running for Congress
now down in Texas. His dad got so so first
of all, he was never political, okay, but then the
minute Donald Trump made that kid not a receecret service
agent and the Dems acted like they acted, and then
the media went off about it. Yes, his old man
looked at the whole situation and went, I was never political.

I never hated a party. But he's done with the
damn Democrats in Texas. So he's throwing his hat in
the ring down there, which is what we need. We
need more pissed off mama and Papa bears. You see
something going on out there you don't like, get involved,
do something about it. If you take your son to
our nation's capital and he receives an amazing award and

appointment from a sitting president, regardless of whoever the president is,
and you see an entire party sitting down, you see
what his dad's doing. You go to a school board
meeting and you see them trying to force a vaccine
or force some nasty ass books that are talking about
training your kid up and cutting off penises and ridiculous garbage.
With this transgender movement, go run for school board, do

something about it. That's what our special guest tonight has done.
She has turned her voice, which on social media, from
being a beauty pageant queen in Miss Universe or Miss America.
She'll tell me what it was I forget and meeting
the president and knowing the president. Now she's using her platform,
her voice, her background to now go after the issue

or issues that really mean a lot to her. And
guess what, whether you were famous, semi famous or not,
you have something to offer your community. And if you
see something wrong, go freaking do something correctly.

Tell you what you can do for your country. I
love that kind of proactive behavior. And that's the problem
is not enough people, good people were proactive. And so
we've found ourselves in a place where the country was
basically destroyed under the Biden Harris regime. We need people
to reclaim ownership of their own country. Get back in

watched it, I listened to it, I cared about it,
but I wasn't active enough.

kids are kids when it comes to everything from their
education to their sexual growth, the proper way, following science

what you and then we'll go to your background and
how you all got into this. But you really have

made this your new mission. If anybody goes to your
social media pages, they're going to know within thirty seconds
what Carrie Prejeann likes fighting about.

was their twenty twenty one. I don't know if you
remember that little girl that was in the locker room
at the YMCA. She was this young, little seventeen year
old girl and this man walked in and started undressing
in front of her. And that's when it really and
I said, you know what, there is a war on women,

on our children, and there is a war on the
nuclear family. Yes, so we had DLM, you know, which
was a scam. We all know that. And I thought,
you know what, what is the movement that is actually
rising up against this and saying no, we're going to
stand for truth, We're going to stand for the nuclear family,
and we're going to stand against this insane gender ideology

which is destroying our children. And so I decided to
get in the ring and fight back.

And so here a, yeah, well you got in the
ring a while back, and that's a great transition. You
were just talking about you fighting for kids, keeping them safe.
You also mentioned fighting for the Nuclear Family. Can you,
for Riley for the viewers, remind them kind of the
background and what happened to you, because I think that

you got used as a guinea pig for that particular
judge who wanted to ask you that question, knowing that
it would paint you in a corner and see if
you would stand by your convictions, which you did. So
back us up to the day and tell them how
this all went down, because I have my version of
watching it. I remember seeing it live happen. I think

I might have been working in Las Vegas at the time.
I don't know, it was years ago. But take us
back and tell them what happened to you in the
whole pageant world because you stood up for the Nuclear family.
And again, what is wrong with that? Like if you
have a Pride month and you have all this stuff
for the LGBTQ one, two, three, four, five, ABCQY six,
I don't even know what the hell they're letters and
numbers are anymore. You have all that for them, But

then the minute somebody straight says, hey, no problem, live
your life, do what you want. Can I have a day?
Could I have a month? Can I know you homophobe,
or if I'm like, hey, can I have something for
a Christian? No you xenophobe? Can I have something for
a white guy? And Gale? No? You racist? Anyway? Sorry
to go off, carry fillam in on what happened to you.

was twenty one years old. I was my dream. I
was Miss California. I had just won. I beat out
over ninety women in this beautiful state of California. There

and then go on in this universe and represent my
amazing country. And so there I was, and he asked
me the question. And it was a gay judge, a

very outspoken judge, Prez Hilton, And he asked me.

Yeah, by the way, I got a hold on I
interrupt you. That was Perez Hilton. Folks, you know who
that is, right, the openly gay guy that's got the
website and he's made a whole career on just celebrity gossiping.
He's one. He used to be like three hundred pounds
and then shrunk down before Ozempic came out. So yeah,
this jackass. I don't like Perez Hilton. He's a dick.
So anyway, sorry, continue to carry This is two thousands,
seven and eight.

When is this two thousand and nine?

And so he asked me, he said, Carrie, Vermont just
became the whatever fourth state to legalize saying sex marriage?
Do you believe other states should follow through? Why or
why not? And Dan, if you can imagine, I have
thirty seconds to answer this question, and here I literally
see my dreams, my hopes, all of my future just
flashing before my eyes. And I really had a decision

to make. Was I going to cave and give him
the answer that he so desperately wanted, or was I
going to stand up for my faith which I am
a Christian? And was I going to say no, I
believe that marriage between one man and one woman. And
so that's exactly what I said. I said, I believe
marriage between a man and a woman no offense anyone
out there. That's the way I was raised, and that's

how I think it should be.

This was before canceled culture, so this was what really
got canceled.

Why did I say you're the guinea pig. You were
one of the first ones. And again, Carrie, why is
it that they can stand up and say whatever they
want about their community and we're supposed to accept it?
And I do. I have a lot of friends in
the gay community. I don't care what they do behind
closed doors, as long as you're not grooming kids or
running down the street with your junk out, because that's

indecent exposure. No, seriously, if you or I did it,
we'd get arrested. If we stood outside the OA instrude
here in San Diego and took a leak okay in
broad daylight with my junk out, I'm going to get arrested.
But if I went to a Pride parade next month
in June and wrote a bicycle down the streets of Portland,
Oregon with my junk out, They've got a clap for me.

Yeah, well you knew I was a Christian, it says
on my bio, you know San Diego Christian College. He knew,
he knew what we had all where I stood, and
it was really a test. I mean, as I I'm
so glad, Dan, I'm so glad that I was strong
in my faith and that I said, you know what,
I could care less about this crown. I could care
less about any of this. I would rather be biblically
correct than politically correct and win the stupid crown and

go on with my life. And who knows what would
have happened. I mean, yeah, I probably lost out on
a lot, but you know what, I stood on my morals.
I stood on my principles, and my family is so
proud of me. I remember my parents saying, you know, Carrie,
you did the right thing. We're so proud of.

You because you were a winner when you said that
you didn't need a fricking crown and a title and
a cheap little sash and a year or two around
the country or world saying look at me and my crown.
You were a winner because you stood up for what
was freaking right in our book. Again, if you're not
a Christian, if you're not straight, you don't like our book.

You think our book is wrong. But in our book,
being straight and a Christian is what we believe. And
they're allowed to believe what they believe and say what
they want on their soapbox in a street corner, and
so should we, and there shouldn't be anything wrong with
either side saying that completely. That's why I hate getting
labeled if I say, no, I'm straight. I believe that

marriage should between a man and a woman because of
my faith. Although in man's world and man's law they've
now made it so many yes can marry men and women,
and I'm okay with that in man's law. Personally, I'm
not because I'm a Christian. Now, what the hell's wrong
with saying that? Why would you cancel this beautiful woman
who was gonna say and do all kinds of great
things for the state of California, maybe the country, and

maybe make it to miss universe. All because she was
just standing up for her faith.

Well, you just alluded to it, if I may, Carrie.
They made an example. They tried to make an example
out of you. I wanted to send a message loud
and clear to anyone else out there who might be
a little bit of a dissident who might dissent with
what the pop culture of the time has to say
about a very complex and complicated issue. So they were
trying to shame you and bully you and make you
into an example, like a scapegoat. So the left does yes,

Think they call it? Again, I have friends in the
community that hate that they call it this, But why
do they call it the Rainbow mafia? Because do you know,
and again, not everyone in the community, of course, we
don't mean that total, but a lot of the folks
that run things in the community, run organizations within the community,

are like Nazis. Since you want to call me a
Nazi all the time on the left, they run their
organizations like Nazis. It's you are okay with everything that
the alphabet soup mafia does or else, and I'll tell you,
And this will lead into what Carrie's new missions about.
There is a big portion of the gay and lesbian
community really upset that the transgender agenda hijacked their communities.

I'd like to Hey, you know what, Dan, I'd like
to see them speak out openly about that, because I
don't see them saying take off, take off our g
and RL off of that, because I don't hear that
a lot, and thank you. I'd like to see them say,

grateful that they do speak out. Yes, But you know what, Dan,
I'm going to push back a little bit on what

This is my opinion. I think that once we redefine marriage,
once we redefined a covenant that was created by God,
that was a slippery slow because if you can redefine marriage,
guess what you can redefine one a woman?

Yep. And I don't disagree with you because any movement
and I'll i'll and I'll blanket this statement whether you
like it or not. Out there folks and left. They
don't give a crap any movement from the left. If
you give an inch, they take a mile. Yes, the guns,
guns do this, Hey, we only want the bump stocks. Yes, No,
we want all of your rifles. Hey we want rifles. Nope,
we want all your handguns. That'll be next. That's what

they do. So it's like, no, we just wanted this.
And now fast forward from the gay marriage fight, which
was about fifteen sixteen years ago, right, eight oh nine
it was Oma Obama. Okay, now fifteen sixteen years later,
where a guy can cut his penis off and be

No, well, I think that's what might have been the
goal for some all along, some for some again, notice.

Agree with Carrie in that more from the community. And
again these are my friends who I'll call out right now.
More in the community need to be out there going.
Don't clump us in and throw us under the bus

Now I say trannies because it's sight. Do you know why, Well,
it's not a thing. This is who thing. It's not

a thing. There is no such thing. You are confused,
You have a mental problem. And up until five six
years ago, we used to send you to see a
shrink immediately. Now all of a sudden, it's a thing
you can decide to do.

is a recognizable diagnosable thing.

But the whole problem here the left. They always do this.
They whenever they pitch a social change, they say, you know,
we're going to do this, this is what we really want.
As soon as you say, yes, okay, sounds reasonable, they
make a decent moral argument for it on the surface
at first, and you think, okay, what's the harm.

A little bit of power goal post ships yep radically overnight.
That's the left playbook, pro every partment. We could sit
here and go off from the economy and taken from
the rich and giving to the people who don't work.
We could talk about the border that way, you could
bring up every issue on left versus right, and it
would come down to that.

All right, carry back to you, so let's catch us
up from there. So you answer and stand by your
convictions and the word of God and science. Over sixteen
years ago. Good for you. Then what happens and how
do we get up to present date? In between? Because
I know there was some years. I mean, people were
calling you everything under the sun except a beautiful American patriot.

They were harsh on this world for no good reason.

Anyway, go ahead, Well, this arrogant man, FREDS. Hulton was
shocked that I would be willing to stand on my
biblical principles rather than win the title of this USA.
He was surprise, He was really really surprised. In fact,
he said that if I would have won, I ended
up getting second place. I got first letter up. He
said he would have gone on the stage and ripped

the tirra off my head. So essentially I would have
been assaulted by a man, but because he gave free range. Yeah,
and then from there, yeah, they just attacked me relentlessly.
And this was before you got a podcast for this,
before you made millions of dollars for it. You genuinely
got canceled. And this was before Instagram, Twitter all that,

and so thank god I had millions of people supporting me,
and they were writing me letters and they were saying
thank you. It took a twenty one year old beauty
queen to stand up against this mom this mafia that
is so relentless, and they're not about many of them.
I don't want a stereotype. This particular man was not
about equality, was not about inclusivity, because if he was,

if you would have said, you know, Carrie, you're entitled
to your opinion, even though I disagree with.

Thank you for pointing that out. Why is it when
they use the word inclusivity right and tolerance it only
means for their agenda, But then us on our side,
we are supposed to be all inclusive of anything they
believe in and want, and we're supposed to be tolerant
of it. Yet they have no damn tolerance whatsoever. That
just discussed that.

I'm so sorry that that lit the fire in me,
Dan And then here I am now a mama bear.
I have two children, and I married my husband, and
I started seeing this stuff going on in the schools,
and I said, you know what, this is very similar
to what I went through. And if we don't fight
back now, if more people don't speak out, I had
Kathy read Gifford. I had so many people coming up
to me on the streets of New York whispering me, hey,

I'm so proud of you. Keep it up, keep up
the good work, and then two minutes later bashing me
on her show. I'm like, what is going on here?
So many people are so afraid to speak out and
speak up against this insanity because of the social like
they just want to be invited to the parties, they
want to be included. It's so stupid and so here.
I am now a mom, and I said, I have

to do something about this. I have even more fire
and me, I am still standing. Nothing's going to back
me down. I am even I'm doubling down. Actually I'm
doubling down, and I'm winning. And we are winning as
a culture. Oh, we are Christians. We are and Christians
are winning.
