Speaker 1 (00:14):
What's everyone. Welcome back to another edition of the Apex
the Podcast. Ladies and gentlemen. We had two back to
back banger days Saturday and Sunday of Pro League. We're
gonna get to all of that. Also, me and Donn
are gonna kind of run through not just the America region,
We're gonna go through all the other regions for people
who want to hear more about some of those regions
(00:35):
that they can't watch. And then we routed out with
the Heart to Heart. But boys, we had a banger
weekend of Apex Legends competitive and it's always good to
have the two days back to back. The one thing
that sucks is you kind of when a few days passed,
they all kind of meld into one thing. But we're
gonna try our best to separate Saturday and Sunday and
(00:57):
talk a little bit about it. We also have don
who is down deep in the dumps from the Sunday performance,
so we're gonna break down team moment and what the
hell was going on over there. But we'll let Dog
do that a little bit later. Boys, let's kick it
off with Saturday. Saturday was the big day, first one
that we've had since since the ALGs opened, and it
(01:19):
kicked off just like we would have expected. With Energ,
Shopify and Falcons at the top. You would expect those
three names to be there. Energy had an insane day.
Shopify followed up right behind them, but it was not close.
Energy with ninety three total points, Shopify was sixty five,
and then third was Team Falcons. One hundred Thieves was
right behind them as well, But that was our top three.
(01:42):
I guess you'd consider it the top four boys. Lots
of crazy stuff going on, but you got to talk
about the winners from this day. NRG jump By. I
know you watched a ton of Energy and what they
were doing, right. I remember after the first Pro League
day we were kind of saying, like, hmm, we were interested.
What was gonna happen with this team. Obviously, they made
a big acquisition. They picked up Sykes, they had jan
(02:03):
Jam went back to Team Liquid, Sykes joins the team.
And it's not like they just had this one good day.
They had some good days with Yanya as well. But
I mean, ninety three points in one day of Pro
League in the America's region. It just goes to show
how far this talented squad can go from your perspective, Jumble,
what were you seeing that was working well for NRG.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Well, so, like you said with Yanya, they had they
where like they dropped a thirty point win, so they
always had it. But like at the Open, dude, they
were the first Correct me if I'm wrong, weren't they the
first seed team going into finals? Like they played really
well with the Open, went through winners and everything like that.
I actually thought they had a good chance of taking it.
If you asked me in that crowd that day, who
I thought was gonna win. I was kind of like
(02:45):
leaning to Energy because they were like doing so well.
Now they didn't perform as they would have hoped on finals.
I think that they had like some pretty tough zones
to deal with and everything like that, but they swap out.
As soon as I saw that Sykes got dropped from
Envy and then Yanya was dropped, I was like, Oh,
Sykes is going Energy. I knew that shit was happening.
And Sykes every team he goes to like instantly elevates.
(03:07):
I think he's like one of the most underrated pros
in the scene. His accolades are like pretty crazy for
I think how much credit. He gets around, Like you
never hear him being tossed out there as like top
player in the game. But like, I mean, I think
he's finished like second, fourth, fourth, like third, third, Like
(03:28):
like the guy is always either top five or missing
finals when he when it comes to lands other than
the open. But yeah, like it's he's got a pretty
good acolades. So you know, they go out there and
they were playing everything perfect. Timmy was going stupid in
that first game on Alter every team that pushed their building, Uh,
what was it in not core?
Speaker 3 (03:50):
What's the zone? Just half the alpha base?
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, they're dropping staces array, which typically is
a terrible poy. But they were talking before the game
saying like we're gonna rotate fast thirty seconds and were
out of this POI and they were doing it. They
were flying, getting to zone first every time Timmy's zone
calls ron points, and then they were just fighting like
demons people. Everyone who just tried to push the building
just died in a millisecond, and it was impressive to
(04:15):
watch how fast they were rolling through lobbies.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
I had.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
In the first game they died, Timmy had eight kills
and they died at fifth and they finished fourteen kills
and fifth place that game, and they kind of got grief,
They kind of got trolled. Imagine winning that game, they
had fourteen kills with four squads left alive. The next game,
Timmy didn't miss a single fucking craber shot with his
like with his craber going vile.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
Yeah, that poor man Waltz everyons and you know that,
you know that the how fans were just eating that
shit out.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yeah, they were pissed.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
Every like, and it was like, I think he missed
literally one shot and he's screaming for his team to
keep coming to him. And the funny part is guild
after the game goes, Dude, you're making being pissed off
because you would call me over and then you'd one
B three the squad and then I'd leave and I'd
go knock two guys from a squad and you'd call
me over and then you'd one v three of them again,
and I couldn't finish my squad.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
I was funny.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
And that's how they were fighting.
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Each of them were one B three and guys Timmy
had like fourteen kills after two games.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Yeah, I don't know, it looked like pubs.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
And the other thing that was kind of crazy too
is like there's a couple of games that could have won.
But Timmy, like I've always known this, even when he
played with his previous team to try to eye Gelling,
he loves to be at gro He gets like, really
I think a tunnel vision on when like he gets
a lot of opening damage. He wants to jump on
a team, even if it's not the best idea sometimes
and that got them like second in one game that
they probably should have won, and you know, they got
(05:37):
a lot of points.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
That's good.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
But ultimately the big thing that they got to do
is next time they gets the finals, they want to
make sure they're closing out games and wins. And I
think Sykes is gonna help with that a lot. Sykes
immediately goes, we could have won that game. The reason
I didn't come in there with you guys is like
I was trying to like pull you guys back.
Speaker 3 (05:52):
I think there's gonna be a balance.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
The Whereas Timmy continues to improve his igl which he
looked amazing this day. I'm not fucking knocking him on
this thing. But as he improves, he keeps having these
days maybe having someone like Psychs to kind of reel
them in a little bit, kind of make them be
a little bit more calmer.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
With that, I think they could be kind of dangerous
in a match point final. I don't know, maybe I
got Recncy bias, but that was a perfect day. That
was a perfect day they played.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
Now, the one question I had coming from from this
day and just watching Timmy on energy is like, if
there was a mount rushmore of Kraber users, guys you
want holding the Kraber in their hand, who would you
have on your mount rushmore? Four dudes? Who are you
having on the mount rushmore of Kraber users in pro
league or just competitive apex in general? Timmy zero, that's two?
Speaker 2 (06:41):
Well, okay, am I going like best like and everyone
thinking about this? Are we going like best snipers like
like Kraber users in general? Because like I think, uh
base takes would actually be Trevstacks. It's kind of fucking insane,
But like, is he mount rushmore? Like I'm trying to
think like iconic like founder things Like.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
I would say on top of the two that you said,
the two that at least come to mind to me
would be Skittle and Yuka.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
See, the thing is like I go with Zero because
like I remember when I was doing my Zero video,
I was watching especially that Sweet and tournament, and I
know that's really far back, but if Zero gets a
cravener's hand, he also does not miss. And then when
I asked Zero about that, he flat out told me
he goes. Well, I started paying attention and watching how
Sweet played with the kraber, and he goes. I just
saw how patient he is with all his shots, so
(07:27):
I started playing it like Sweet. So then after and
that's how like he got so good with it. And
I asked him and said, do you think you're the
best player with the craber and he said yes, uh,
And so then the funny thing is like I put
Zero on there, but if Zero's telling me he watched
so much Sweet, I was like, am I missing something?
He's there like Sweet in there that we gotta be
throwing in aunt Rushmore is tough for just craver users.
I especially because like you don't get to see it
too often, because then after I'm like, it was fun
(07:48):
not goaded with the crab two, Like I don't know.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
I've been four.
Speaker 4 (07:53):
I mean, honestly, if you put if you got zero
and then uh yeah, I mean if sweet, I mean
if if sweat is the is zero's and spell. Yeah,
like that's an undebatable you have to throw him in there,
and I can vouch fun he is that guy, right.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Like I'm thinking, but like then like fucking Donnie had
a really good like I'm also just thinking, n a,
Donnie's right, like Yuka kind of.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
Okay, Well I'm not.
Speaker 4 (08:21):
Ok yeah, okay, but hold on, where is Mount Rushmore?
Speaker 1 (08:27):
That's a great point I have.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
No I have.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
There's no rebundal.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
I got nothing, so might saying potentially based on the
last couple of weeks.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
So no, dude, that guy he's dangerous. He's been getting
a lot of practice, a lot of practice.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
And then the funny thing too, is I think there's
like some like pub stompers, like like we we're joking
about saying, but I bet there's.
Speaker 3 (08:54):
Some pup stompers are absolutely no Mandy.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
How are we like not thinking Mandy like a here,
like I just the snipers in general, Yeah, like he'd
have to be up there.
Speaker 1 (09:03):
Yeah. I just thought it was an interesting question. Interesting
just thought in general, because there's so many moments you
associate with Kraber usage that maybe the player themselves had
one big moment, but there might be a few other
players out there. Like I wasn't even thinking of Trev
Stacks when I thought of that question. He might just
be on the Mount Rushmore of just sniper rifles in general,
(09:24):
you know, miss Yeah, so, and then we're not even talking.
I didn't even bring up Monsoon. Monsoon he might be,
you know, on the on the Mount rush or a
sniper right.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Soon's career was somewhat built off a Kraber clip of
him just dropping off a roof and insta headshotting Shroud
and then he got rated like by Shroud after that,
and Shrub thought he was cheating.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
But like, yeah, so, what's your final answer, Jumba, it's
your Mount Rushmore.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
I don't have one.
Speaker 1 (09:54):
It's your Mount rush nobody else.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
It's really it's really interesting you brought this up because
for the past couple of days I've been thinking about,
like wanting to do like a sort of like Mount
Rushmore content, be something maybe for like Twitter, and I
was just trying to think of like my Mount Rushmore
in general for APEX, and I could not narrow down
for and I was like, then I need to start
like making Mount rushmorees of different parts of apex.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
But then there's repeat guys. So I was like, well,
every time he's a repeat guy, I guess he would
have to be on the actual Mount Rushmore.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
And I couldn't narrow it down, like I'm stuck between
like like zero, like like nice week how Dizzy? I
feel like on the top Rushmore? But then who gets
that third spot?
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Like of just in general, just.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
But why would Timmy not deserve it at this point?
And then you know what I think. I don't even
watch them a lot, but you know, I think that
Fade needs a spot up there too.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
The movement, the movement thing is crazy.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
I mean, if you don't put a on there, you're
fucking troll. I feel like I have this just I
don't care if you have dizzy, but if anything like bro,
I mean A is iconic.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
He is, But I feel like, like, so, then so
then who do you take off?
Speaker 3 (11:06):
You take off nice wig or how?
Speaker 1 (11:09):
I didn't say that, No, How's number of how is?
Speaker 2 (11:12):
So?
Speaker 3 (11:12):
So you take off dizzy? So you take off dizzy?
Speaker 4 (11:15):
I mean for a yeah, I personally I mean I'm
a little bit biased, but yeah.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
But I thought Dizzey to me is like the godfather
of Apex. Like people did like Apex like competition, like
everything started because everyone was so focused on Dizzy that
dude was like crazy, Like.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
But could you say that from Dizzy bigger like nice
Wigs spawned from Dizzey. Correct, as you.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Kind of did too a little bit like not Ace
was a streamer and Asu was already competing a pro,
but like Dizzy was his friend and he brought him
over to Apex. They started playing together and he was
brought onto Energy because of Dizzey. So if we say that,
like but like but like the thing is is like
I feel like and Ace you did too. I had
this problem too, you know, I was trying to think,
how do I know put Asu there? But I was like,
I feel like from where Like Nice obviously had his
(12:00):
career launch because of the Dizzy raid, but then like
he could have just like flatlined as a pro the
entire time. He surpassed that by like elevating his gaunted,
elevating everything his impact on the game with what he's
done with the watch parties in the b stream, like
there's no way that Niswig's not the most influential like
he has like it's like most person.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
But I mean at one point that man Ashu had
like twenty five k bodies in there watching him play
pubs and right.
Speaker 2 (12:27):
But so did so did Dizzy though right and like,
and I get it, like I get it. I don't
know how I'm like, I'm fighting like no a Sue,
but I'm trying to think of that fourth spot because.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
Then like so did Timmy and how did he not
give Timmy.
Speaker 1 (12:37):
With ja.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Do you laugh?
Speaker 2 (12:43):
But the funny thing is I was kind of thinking
to myself of like, you know, is there a conversation
for actually fitting Jay in there somewhere?
Speaker 1 (12:49):
I think I think.
Speaker 2 (12:51):
I think Jay's still like on the climb though, like right,
like like I feel like he's like he hasn't like
solidified himself in the icon status, but like.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
He's working, but things working. You can have your own
personal with anything, like my personal apex I'd have I'd
have Tuscha on there. I watched so much tal Tusche
in the beginning, like Tushe for me was huge and
like getting to interview him was one of the craziest
that was that was wild, Like that was one of
the few times after the pot I just like.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
No, wow, I was an argument too, because like he
was also very like influential when especially came to like
controller players and like console players, like.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
Oh console, Yeah, he was the face of console.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Yeah we went out question.
Speaker 2 (13:33):
Yeah, so that's what I mean, like like we got
completely sidetracked from Pro League.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
But like you can't deny this is not.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
Like it's a great discussion, which is why I brought.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
It up picking up just four for general Apex because
like with the uh solo to Pread stuff that Timmy
did right, which then spawned literally like everyone doing solo
to masters like challenges and everything like that, Like the
same thing Nok was saying. He used to average like
ten fifteen sometimes thirty forty k like viewers. I think
his his Apex Soulo to Pread stream probably is like
(14:03):
the most viewed Apex stream, Like I think he had
one hundred and twenty thousand viewers when it ended m
right concurrent.
Speaker 1 (14:09):
So yeah, it was insane. Yeah, that was crazy.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
He's done everything he's he's done.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
He's he's like been a pop stopper, he's been top
pread and like he's now competing as a pro. If
he wins Land, there's no doubt you don't put Timmy
up there, so like where does your forecome? I guess
my four in that case would end up being nice weeg,
how does he Timmy? But then I feel like there's
so many names I'm keeping off.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Yeah, I think there's.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
For you only have four options there, so there's always
going to be people that are going to be like
you can make the argument for mm hmm that just
aren't going to be able to fit on for yeah,
like four spots and.
Speaker 1 (14:42):
It's not a slight to them. I think if I
had to pick my four, it would be just overall
arching apex, it'd be two sche Wig how Timmy. That's
just my personal one, just for me personally. That's what
kept me the most engaged. Yeah, I think that that
would you guys, what would you guys throw up?
Speaker 2 (15:04):
And we can refine these Maybe we'll come back to
another day where we actually really thought about this and
we'll like we'll do a recap of this.
Speaker 5 (15:10):
But see, my problem was I wasn't there like at
the beginning, so like I definitely know like I didn't
have that same influence from like ASU and like Dizzey
and stuff like that, because they were already kind of
like leaving the scene when I had really started like
getting so I mean like personally for me, yeah, because
he's the first guy I watched, but like I know,
for people, like he's not gonna be on there, like
(15:32):
respectfully to him definitely had the biggest influence for me
to get started into Apex. Is like I had never
watched Twitch, like before I started playing Apex, I never
was into any of that, and he was the first
person I started watching on Twitch. Uh Wig was second,
and then obviously like how with t s M that
was the first team I enjoyed watching like my personal
one honestly probably like hal reps Noco and Wig just
(15:54):
because those are the foremost for me and and Apex
for like again those are.
Speaker 3 (15:59):
The most for you.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
But try to think about like from what you've seen,
like you felt like like from your even your time
in here, because yours would be interesting, like you're not
gonna have some of those earlier guys, Like who do
you think's been like just most influential like for Apex
in general, right, Like yeah, I mean.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
I think the three Yeah, I think the three for
me for sure that are locked would be how Wig
and I definitely had a third one and oh and
Timmy at least for me because I think Timmy not
only just like the streams he's had and things like that,
but like him getting into competitive just the amount of eyes,
like the Red Bull stuff he's been doing. Like I
just feel like there's so much that like he's brought
(16:36):
to it. And yeah, I don't really know who that
fourth person would be because I mean there's just so
many like different routes within the scenes.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
And then you can make in you can definitely make
an argument for Sweet, and I definitely think you can
make an argument for his Watson.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Watson I never I think I never got to finish that,
Like yeah, and Sweet too, like if we want to
talk in that peak era, like there's a Pewter time
remember of Like I was obviously aware of Sweet and
then one day I was just like chilling.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
I was on Twitch. I was like, so, I say,
TENK viewers.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
When did I start getting ten k viewers? Like what's
what's going on here? And like yeah, and then obviously yeah,
his Watson as well, like you know, the content he's
done with YouTube the way he kind of like revolutionized
comp I feel like, I like, I guess that like
bleeds into a little bit of Sea Lion. But I
feel like when people saw how good Furia did because
(17:25):
of his watch, and they were like, we should get coaches,
you should we should use coaches.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Uh, okay, So nobody answered my question on Mount Rushmore
for just Kraver users.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Well, because like Craverer is so specific, that's hard. But
I gave you some names.
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Listen, don I want you to give me you had
you had two names that I'm not remembering right now,
your Mount Rushmore Kraber users, and then we can move on.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
Well, it said Skittle and Yuca f were the two
that brought up, And then who were the first two
that you'd brought up?
Speaker 6 (17:55):
Because I had agree with zero?
Speaker 3 (17:56):
Said zero? And then I did throw Timmy on me.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
It.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
The interesting thing is though, when you started throwing under
the names, it was like, does Timmy fall off this list?
Speaker 3 (18:03):
Because like then I'm thinking Mandy, I.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Don't know dude too, he has the iconic moments, So
what does Mandy? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, fuck. I wish fifth
head on it.
Speaker 5 (18:19):
I would say for me, I'd say zero to me
and then Skittle And you get the main reason why
I say Skittle is because no matter what team he's
been on, I've just always seen like, hey, Skittle, here's
the craber. Like anybody else in that team will loot
the box that has the craber or get to the
crate that as the craber, and they always immediately say,
(18:40):
hey Skittle, here's the craber. Like any situation cops. I'm like, okay,
this guy has to be go toed if every single
stop he's been on, i mean, you talk about dropped,
You're talking about all these top names and Apex, They're
all like here you go take it.
Speaker 6 (18:52):
So like, yeah, it's just not.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
If you guys let them.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
There's an I think it's Alving Is it Alvin gate
Gaming or not elban Gate? Is it an Emerald General?
Their ledge has like a fucking video it's about knocks
picking up the craber.
Speaker 6 (19:11):
One of the funniest videos I saw all the time.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Yeah. So other than other than Energy, obviously, there were
some other teams that did well out here as well.
I brought up Shopify, brought up Falcons, Uh and one
hundred Thieves. Those are all the usual suspects, but a
lot of the storyline surrounding this weekend what was going
on was a lot of the roster mania that we
at the time. We didn't really get to talk about
as much because we had just had the hal interview
(19:36):
drop and it was still kind of in limbo with
how everything was going. But there was a lot of
team changes throughout just this day and also the next
one as well. One of the biggest ones was Panic
moving on over to TSM, and it paid dividends pretty early. Obviously,
they get sixth place on the first day, and I
believe on the second day they got third. Yeah, they did,
(19:57):
so that was a big change moving forward. I did
want to kind of talk about this move because you
talk about TSM and its significance, its impact in Apex legends,
just the org itself, the name, and what it's brought
to the esport, Panic is seemingly and it's not just
us saying it, it's the broadcast, it's everyone talking about
(20:19):
Panic being up next. They started off not great on
this day, but they were able to bounce back, and
I think that has a lot to do with just
his ability, his talent. Did you guys get any chance
to watch TSM, I'll throw it on down to you.
Don What did you see from TSM in at least
on Saturday.
Speaker 5 (20:34):
Well, yeah, it's interesting because I think in the past,
with like Duplex's teams and things like that, obviously he
typically plays a little bit more towards like a harder
zone type, which they still do, and that's definitely like
they're gonna be their identity. But it was really interesting
to watch because the little bit that I saw there
was actually a clip where they turned tune into the
comms at TSM, and it was really interesting to see
(20:57):
just how far Duplex has already having Panic play, which
Panic's gonna naturally do that just because of fragger, like
they're naturally gonna be, you know, playing a little bit
further away, trying to get kills, looking for openings and
things like that. But I was actually pretty impressed with
the trust that they've already kind of built in a
short amount of time to allow him to basically overextend
(21:18):
to either look for a spot or look for openings.
I mean there was literally one point that he was
just basically playing back and forth between two alter portals,
just I mean completely overextended. From his team, which obviously
Alter allows you to do that a little bit, but like,
it was really it was pretty impressive to see the
trust that they've already built with obviously Duplex being very
established for a long time now and competitive, and then
(21:41):
Panic just being kind of newer to like his first
big opportunity.
Speaker 6 (21:45):
So it was really interesting to see. And I mean,
you just watched.
Speaker 5 (21:47):
The clips too, this this kid play. I mean, he's
just fucking disgusting. I mean, there's really no other way
to describe it other than that.
Speaker 6 (21:55):
But yeah, I think that was the biggest thing that especially.
Speaker 5 (21:58):
This on the Sunday, which I know will it too,
but yeah, just the trust, although they've already built, and
obviously Gent just does a great job of browning up
that roster with the experience that he has. I think
it's gonna be a team that's only gonna get better. Like,
I really do think that they I don't know how high,
you know, if I'm gonna say like chance potential, like
our Land winning potential kind of thing, but I definitely
(22:19):
think they're only to get better as time goes on,
and the more that Panic gets with these two and
gets on the same page.
Speaker 6 (22:26):
I just again. I think they're gonna be a roster
that's gonna be really gross moving forward.
Speaker 1 (22:30):
Another team that made a big roster move was rock
E Sports. They pick up Saucer, who I've been following
for a long time with LG and uh he moves
on over Obviously, Nocturnal comes in and replaces him over there.
But we saw kind of the Saucer experience once again
in this first Saturday. They didn't do as well. They
(22:51):
get the twelfth place. There was kind of a log
jam of teams all kind of within that twenty seven
to like thirty three point range. So really one or
two different situations could have drastically changed the amount of
points they got. But then we'll follow it up on
the Sunday. They absolutely dominated, But this is another big
roster change that you want to keep an eye on
moving forward, and just kind of looking at some other
(23:13):
quick notes about Saturday before we move into Sunday. Team Orchid.
The biggest note by far, the biggest news at least
for this podcast, is that Rambo did the thing. He
changed his name to Bonanners for Pro League. He went
Bone Andners for Pro League Boys. Super exciting stuff for us.
(23:34):
I know we kind of spoke that into existence. Go
listen to the Rambo interview. Huge day bone Anders is
such a sick name. Congratulations to Rambo for making the switch.
I don't know if he's going to keep it. I
don't know how long he's going to keep it before
if it's just for Pro League, But that was badass.
I love seeing it. Team Orchid with the eighth place finish.
And then something that I saw at Genome talk about
(23:54):
on the broadcast. And I don't know if this happened
in game six, but apparently Timmy played a different legend
in every single game up to game five. I didn't
see who he played in game six. But that's also insane,
and I just had to shine a light on that.
That's crazy. Every single game he's playing a different legend.
So shout out to Timmy for all that kind of stuff.
Speaker 4 (24:14):
Or does that I mean, he's just crutching the best
available legend at the time.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Hot topic, let's debate, let's let's have mount rushmore of
crutching legends.
Speaker 6 (24:34):
I'll just say it a more serious no.
Speaker 5 (24:35):
I will say shout out the energy, because you know,
I obviously want to talk about how dominant they were
but they only had one game where they finished outside
the top six. For somebody that's been criticized obviously for
maybe not being the best zone caller, I definitely think
Timmy did a really good job, which, like I know,
when I watched the Broken Moon games, I definitely had
a lot of favorable zones, but it wasn't necessarily that
(24:58):
even those zones are favorable. It was the spot that
he was picking for them to play. I mean, you're
talking about game one, they literally were in godspot and
for the end play you mentioned Jumba, it was literally
Roc outside accidentally poort into the house they were trying
to port on top to fight Liquid, and then the
second altar Q doesn't get all the way to the top,
(25:18):
they fall literally just in nrg's lap, which then allows
one hundred thieves the third it who eventually wins the game.
So if it really wasn't even for that big mistake
from Roc, you're talking about them potentially winning game one,
they go on to win game two, which really in
game two they maybe didn't have to push TSM off
the building that they were in, but they secured KP
ended up getting second. So it's kind of hard to
(25:40):
fault them there, and then the third game they ended
up having I think the third game they did okay,
but then the fourth game they end up winting the
first game on Stormpoint. So yeah, just overall, really good
job from for Energy with how they played.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Looking at it here, the interesting thing is that like
Guild and Sykes got to play pretty much the same
characters throughout, Like so like match one three Guild and
Sykes on cat Newcastle team plays alter Ash Wraith, so
very similar characters whereaking like you know, run around, go invisible,
do whatever he needs to do to be Agro. And
(26:13):
then fucking four five six they played Fuse Ballistic and
he played Crypto Sparrow and then.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
Bank did they win the Sparrow game?
Speaker 2 (26:23):
No, No, that's the game they actually did the worst in,
but I was curious what Sparrow did. But yeah, so
kind of kind of cool to see he was bouncing
between playing like slower characters like Sparo Crypto, but then
faster characters.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Yeah. So the last note I had on Saturday was
that Team ENV which is now Team All Gamers. They
got fifth place again, so.
Speaker 3 (26:47):
The seventh eighth always get the.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Sixth seventh eighth ninth even you know that's where they're at.
That is where Team Envy is at dropped and the
boys now Team All Gamers moved on from Team Envy
at least four Now anything else boys on Saturday before
we clean it on up and move into Sunday. You
guys got any final thoughts or let's move right into it.
Speaker 4 (27:09):
I was just saying Shopify looked really good, and that
man Ziknew is like when people like say like he's
like in the like when Walton says he's like in
the conversation for like top three, Like I get it.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
No, he is, he is.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
I think I think.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
I think he's one of the most impactful players. It's
crazy because, like I know he did win that Land
with Dark Zero, but like he was still just coming
into form at that time, like he had only played
like with Tech before that, and they got poached to
that land and goes on to win. I wonder what
like current form zi Knew would look like with like
that zero Gen Burton team probably would have been a
(27:46):
super team.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
Mm hm, no, it's it's it's crazy watching him and
also just what a match made in Heaven for him
and uh coy and uh shit yeah, empty, like what
what do together? Like just watching them calm back and
forth between one another. It's impressive. Like, I mean, I
know I talked about them what two or three episodes
(28:08):
ago where I kind of just watched them and saw
what they were doing right, what they were doing wrong,
going through and listening to them every single time. It's impressive.
He had one of the wildest games. I think it
was game five. He destroyed Team Liquid in Game five
in that Saturday set. Had no right to do it,
had no reason to do it. It was on the nut
(28:28):
out in kind of outside barometer night, right next to
the bridge. I thought Liquid had him dead to rights somehow,
he he didn't. One v three he got two of them,
and I think another team came in and finished the
third member off, but he was shooting the third member,
probably would have got the kill, probably would have had
the one v three. He dies shortly thereafter. Either way,
just insane clip from him. I also don't really know
(28:51):
what Liquid was doing in that situation. They kind of
walked in one by one either way, Zi knew. Really impressive,
really great player.
Speaker 5 (28:58):
Yeah, that Saturday said he had twenty kills, which I
believe outside of the couple members of Energy was probably
third overall. But yeah, I mean they quietly won two games.
I mean, obviously we'll talk about him still, but like
obviously that day was mainly about Energy. But I mean,
they go out, they went game two, they win Game five,
I believe, or game six. I think it was maybe
game six, But I mean both times, I think showed
(29:21):
a lot of really good patients and played the backside
of zone, whereas I know the one they want a
broken Moon, they actually were on the bad side of
zone and were able to patiently crossed end up thirty
in the final fight, and in game six they patially
waited for TSM to kind of clear out of the
godspot because TSM fought everybody in front of him, and
that Star just kind of stuck in behind him and
ended up taking the spot from them. I think it
(29:42):
was only like a five kill last game, but I
think this kind of shows the balance that they bring
between you know, they can go get fifteen twenty kills
if they want, but they're also smart enough to know
when they've got the spot handed to them or when
they need to rotate to a certain spot. So it
was just a really overall clean performance from them outside
of it energy dominating the day.
Speaker 1 (30:01):
So yeah, so a big shout out to Shopify. That
was Saturday ladies and Gentle's move on into Sunday here.
Sunday was super interesting as well. Rock E Sports with
the first overall and once again it was kind of
a little bit of a blow at eighty eight points,
second place at sixty seven and that second place team
was Twisted Minds, and then third place is the new
(30:22):
look TSM Falcons was right outside the top three by
two points. They were sitting in fourth place. Lots of
stuff to go over here in this one, but there
were a lot of other teams in additions to teams.
We look over at the Ninjas in Pajama squad that
was formerly nine Lies with Vain and McLevin. They added
Karev who was formerly on Liquid so he was in there,
(30:43):
and then we got to see the first version of
Luminosity with Nocturnal, So those were some of the newer
teams out there playing in this lobby. Boys, there was
one team that was not there, sad Rip Complexity. They
were not there. So there's only nineteen teams playing in
this for that day. But I guess I'll start off
with Dawn looking over at rock Esports. We've talked about
(31:07):
it a ton of times. We've seen Sausher at his best.
We know when he's feeling confident and feeling good, they
do really well. And we also knew the majority of
like the rest of the squad filled out together, is
a really good team. And it's weird to see their
journey throughout the like before Pro League had started to
where they're at now, Like it's just this crazy transformation,
(31:27):
all these different things going on. But what'd you see
from rock Esports today that impressed you the most? On?
Speaker 5 (31:34):
Yeah, I think the big thing for me was just
the way they bounced back from the day before. I
think the Saturday there was definitely always kind of that
one thing that they did, whether they you know, get
the game won from Saturday where they don't alter Q
right or they take the wrong fight at the wrong time,
or they end up losing the easy three E three,
just the kind of that one thing that kept happening
(31:54):
that kept them from really adding up a ton of
points on Saturday. And you want to talk about bouncing
back and just being absolut really ready to go, they
absolutely come out they win game one on the district
and just kind of take it from there. They just
did a really good job, I think, of just cleaning
up the small things and taking advantage of their opportunities
when they when they had them, you know. And there
was a couple of games that they even could have
won if it was for the right circumstances. I think
(32:16):
it was one of the Broken Moon games. They just
no matter what they did when they were in one
of the buildings, which I can't remember the ends off
the top of my head at the moment, but I
think it was the first game on Broken Moon, and
it would have been the Bionomics sending game. And they
are literally just fighting off teams that just keep wanting
to push them, like I think Nip was in was
in on them at that point, leave no witness to
(32:39):
try to push them, board to try to push them,
and they just kept finding a way to get the kill,
stay alive, end up getting the second place, which I
mean you would talk about fifth to second. I mean,
that's a good chunk of placement points if you just literally,
like they said, were able to survive, just keep fighting
them off.
Speaker 6 (32:55):
I think that's just kind of how we're going to
c ROCs.
Speaker 5 (32:57):
Just kind of that scrappy team that finds a way
and it may not be flashy at times, it may
not be the most beautiful apex at times, but I
think that's just kind of the story of this team.
Like I just I think they haven't found the easy
way to get to where they're at now as a team. So,
like you mentioned, so many different things have gone on
so make it such a rollercoaster over journey. But for
(33:17):
them to find a way and just absolutely frag out
and dominate the lobby like they did, just absolutely hats
off to them because that was it was pretty impressive
to see them bounce back in such a big way.
Speaker 1 (33:29):
Yeah, they were really impressive. And then right behind them
was Twisted Minds. The entire set, it was them going
back and forth, like trading off wins and like at
one point you're like, Okay, Twisted Mine's gonna win this day.
Then it goes back to Rocky Sports and it just
keeps going back and forth. Jump from your perspective, Twisted Minds,
they have continued to impress. They weren't just a flash
(33:50):
in the pan. And like we said before the open,
you know, getting to Japan was just like, Okay, yeah,
you know, that's cool. It's not like that anymore. This
is like a legitimate team. This is an impressive team,
and they are feeling a lot of confidence and going
into these matches with a lot of confidence. The way
they're fighting is super impressive. From your perspective, how are
you looking at Twisted Minds and how they're playing right now.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
I Mean, the biggest thing that I think Alb needed
for a really long time is just a team he
was comfortable with, and I guess he's kind of finally
found that in Enemy and Crook. Like in previous squads,
like you know, there's a lot of times there like
there was like clashing with teammates. I feel like when
he was playing Scurry, like they were alrightly, they were good,
(34:33):
but they just weren't elevating to the next level. And
I don't know, I mean, and Crook are doing that
for them, so like, yeah, it's it's cool to see.
I don't really have much else to say about them
other than, like, you know, we'll keep eyes on them
and if they keep performing, I mean, like, who's ever
gonna be upset when Alb is competing at the best
as he can. You know, there's a there's a cool
story there if he wins something.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
E Me and you have talked to alb a few
times now and gotten to like kind of go through
his entire career where there was we've interviewed him when
he was out a low, and then we've interviewed him
when he's you know, qualified for Japan. Like we've seen
him kind of do everything, like from from your end,
because just because we've talked to him before, how awesome
(35:13):
is it to see him kind of like back in
this spotlight again, Like it's cool. It's it's cool to.
Speaker 4 (35:17):
Have a fire. And I actually got the chance to
talk to him after the open uh before they kicked
us out of the building. I was getting to go
around and meeting like a decent amount of the players
and he was one of them, and I like I
specifically went up and I was like, dude, I just
want you to know, like it's like like so cool
to watch your like this story play out and like
(35:38):
you're like come up again, like going from like where
you were to then that low and then now seeing
like you just you're stuck with it, like you kept
on putting in the work and then like there was
a lot of times where it was looking pretty dark, right,
but like he's just showing everybody that he always had
the ability within himself, and as you said, like now
he has a team where he's able to like really
(35:58):
show that, and it's it's pretty cool to see. And
I think if you're somebody out there and like you
don't know about like Alb's story and like you're just
like getting into Apex and like the recent like last
couple of years, like you should you should do some
homework on that boy, Alb, because it's it's definitely a
cool story to to look at and to learn from.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
No doubt, my biggest regret at the Open is that
we were walking by Alb to go get canes and
he was walking back and I didn't stop and just
have a conversation. Briefly, it's my biggest regret with the Open.
Speaker 3 (36:34):
I've thought about that. I was like, man, why did
I say hi?
Speaker 1 (36:37):
Like?
Speaker 3 (36:37):
Why did why didn't I stop and talk? I don't know.
That's I've actually thought about that several times since New Orleans.
Did you wasn't the guy that got me into the Apex?
But anyways, continue.
Speaker 1 (36:47):
That's another one mount rushmore Like that's it. Not to
reopen it, but like that's when we forgot to bring.
Speaker 2 (36:54):
Up it is true because like of like everything he
pioneered in the beginning. I guess the reason I didn't
throw them up there is because Apex has been out
so long.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
Now I'm trying to think of like the holistic view. Yeah,
like the last two years. It's not like.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
I don't want to ever be like, oh, it's not
like he hasn't done anything. No, it's just like there's
just been other people who've like just transcended like what
like they've become like icons in like the social media world,
not just fucking Apex, right, Like.
Speaker 1 (37:25):
Yeah, don I think we've put it off long enough.
Let's talk wait.
Speaker 2 (37:32):
Wait, wait, we can put it off more. Let's talk
real quick about fusion. Them boys fusion. Let's talk about fusion.
Our boys said, like, what's it called? Damn antic January?
They pick up kim Chi are so excited for that.
And then obviously that we've talked about our boy Burke
coaches this team and they're off to just a brutal day.
Speaker 6 (37:54):
Let's go through the game.
Speaker 3 (37:58):
I was gonna I was gonna build the suspense.
Speaker 2 (38:00):
I was gonna go match one zero point here, match
two zero point.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
It's match three two points, match four zero points. Four
games in. They have two points from one game.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
And then they get second with twenty points in match
five and then seventeen points in match six.
Speaker 3 (38:18):
For another second.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
Probably could have won both games two according to Burke,
and they finished fifth.
Speaker 6 (38:23):
Will come back.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
Those boys have finished I think fifth twice now.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
One of the most impressive bounce back performances I've ever seen, because,
like you said, they had nothing going for them whatsoever,
and then all of a sudden they just bounce back
with two insane games. I I don't know if they
could have won game six, but I do think they
should have won Game five. I think Falcons ends up
winning that one and a two v three, so I
think they could have cleaned that one up. But I
guess if you're gonna lose a two v three to
(38:49):
any team, it's you know, it's.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Like, don't lose it two or three. No, I can't.
I remember watching it briefly.
Speaker 1 (38:56):
But if it's Falcons, you're like, it's Falcons, you know,
like that's okay. But no, they seriously they bounce back
so hard. It was awesome to watch and super impressive.
I remember going through We're all in the discord watching
it together and just kind of like talking as things
are going on, and all of a sudden, I look
up at Fusion, who was sitting at nineteenth. Mind you,
(39:17):
there is no twentieth team because Complexity's not there. And
I look, I'm like talking to Chris, I'm like, wait,
are they in seventh right now? He's like yeah, And
then all of a sudden, are they in fifth right now?
Like what just happened? Like a complete turnaround, absolutely huge
bounce back performance. And you love to see my guy
Kims she in there, Love Kim, she did death. So
happy to see him move on. That was another move
(39:39):
I didn't really highlight when I was going through some
of the newer teams, But for them to bounce back
in such a big way in two games is what
makes pro League so weird and also important, Like you
just have to have some of those performances and those
that ability to bounce back even when the entire day
has been going against you. You just have to find
a way, and they did so. Shout out to Team Fusion,
(40:01):
Shout out to Burke and the Boys, and he gave
us a synopsis that lasted an hour after that set
was over, like breaking down everything, how frustrated he was,
how happy he was at the end of it, what
he thought they should have done different, everything it was.
That's just Burke for you.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
Another in the group now speaking of frustration, is that
a bad transition.
Speaker 6 (40:27):
Was gonna be a good transition. So it is.
Speaker 1 (40:31):
Let's talk about the team. Don oh shit, ohment a
chance that I started. Let's talk about let's talk about
the boys, because there was some interesting team compositions and
they kept true to their identity. Uh, they were out
there fighting a lot. It just did not go our way,
(40:52):
didn't break our way on Sunday.
Speaker 6 (40:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (40:56):
So it's it's strange because I would say about the
first eighty percent of like the game that they were
like participating in, so like early game and then basically
midgame honestly was really good. They got early KP and
basically every single game the one like ROC is feeling
really good about themselves. Game one, they come Game two,
(41:19):
ROC tries to rotate through e bank because you know,
most zone teams are playing out a e bank except
for not omit because they don't give a fucking do
what they want. They just sit there basically rat and
throw our ROC's game basically out the window. They get
zero points after winning game one. So but like that
part of the game was actually pretty good, getting the
(41:40):
early KP and actually finding creative ways to get to zone.
But then that last twenty percent of each game just
felt like fucking dog shit. It was so it was
tough to watch. It just seemed like it just didn't
seem like there was a commitment to like make a
move when it came to a rotation. They were committed
to their fights, but they weren't committed to a spot,
and I think that's what definitely led to a lot
(42:02):
of really shitty ways to any game. Because there was
one that they are underneath viaducting in the second game
on the district, and they kept saying we should pour
on this team that has blue shield, which was I
think it was like movie Star Koy. I think we
ended up being that team, which they ended up finishing
fourth in that game. And if we're on purples, they're
on blues. They're a zone team that's just not does
(42:24):
not have the comp the fight and they just kept
saying we should ashboard tomashboard them, and by the time
they actually were going to make the decision, Cody ends
up getting like nateed out I think by LG who
was on top and just absolutely like ruins that game.
It just seemed like they just weren't commit, committed to
make that move like when they needed to for like
that mid to late game, and that kind of just
(42:45):
spiraled and everything else, and then we got you know,
Condo It coming out, and we got Seer and Mirage coming.
Speaker 4 (42:52):
Out, Life flying around one.
Speaker 6 (42:54):
Life lying around one.
Speaker 5 (42:56):
I just I don't want to throw people under the bus,
but I just need it on the record that that
was not me for my sake moved forward. I just
need to put it out there that that was not mere.
Speaker 1 (43:11):
Dawn did not want Lifeline.
Speaker 5 (43:14):
And I'm a Lifeline mane, so like that that says
up that but but no, it it is like I said,
I I do come into this that like I definitely
you know, I'm gonna throw out opinions and suggestions, but
at the end of the day, like the guys need
to play what they want to play or they're comfortable
playing with and whether I think that's you know, a
throw or whatever the case is. Like, you know, they're
(43:36):
the ones playing the game, and I need them to
be comfortable with what their plan is and what they
want to do. So I'm there support them no matter
what wacky comps they want to run or wacky wes
they want to play the game, and I'm just there
to help as much I can.
Speaker 6 (43:49):
Yeah, like what I can do.
Speaker 2 (43:50):
If you guys don't call for land while playing Revenant Conduit, Sir,
did you actually have fun?
Speaker 3 (43:57):
Probably not? So I check. I respect that they're playing
on rent fucking camp.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
Yeah, Mount rushmore crazy comps, ohmit, I mean it was.
Speaker 5 (44:11):
It was funny watching it back because I think it
was I think who was it was a dia in Chamberson.
Speaker 1 (44:16):
I think that we're on the Oh yeah, they were
kind of they were.
Speaker 5 (44:20):
Not even low key, bro. They were absolutely roasting. Yeah,
And I was just like, you know, it is what
it is. I mean, like I said, I I do
think that outside of the comp stuff, it's a lot
of small things that they can they can fix that
I think we'll get because I mean, like I said,
we're getting the kills for not highly as we placed
(44:41):
in like any game, we still had like seventeen or
twenty kills. Yeah, we just literally couldn't place above fucking
tenth place, which is not gonna get.
Speaker 6 (44:48):
Eat any thing.
Speaker 5 (44:48):
So like it's it's small fixable stuff that I think
that we can get in the lab and figure some
things out. So I'm not really too concerned right now.
Speaker 1 (44:57):
Yeah, that is team Oh shit, omit, those are the boys,
Oh Mid shout out to the boys. Did you guys
have any last thoughts on Sunday before moving into overall
standings and then kick it on down to Waltzee anything
else that came to you guys mind.
Speaker 5 (45:11):
And I do think we just need to bring up
real quick the fact that Falcons d seed from a
game and still won that game. They just keep because
then that that game that they beat Fusion, it was
like eight or nine squads. Yeah, there's a moment where
Zero is on pathfinder on top of one of like
the heights and core looking down outside of like the
(45:31):
main center part, and then they just stops moving and
he just gets beamed obviously, because like everyone's gonna shoot
a pathfinder that's not fucking moving, and the broadcast is
like and Zero peaking on one health, like just not
realizing what was going on, and then Jamison finally figures
out that he d seed. But then they get the
res on Zero, he's able to get back into the game,
(45:52):
and then of course Falcons fucking win because that's the
fucking plot armor they always have.
Speaker 6 (45:57):
Yeah, but like I just thought.
Speaker 4 (45:58):
That pretty sure they won as a two man at
the end of that.
Speaker 5 (46:00):
Yeah, no, well Zero got back into the game. Yeah,
he is, like he gets back in. But then as
like the final four or five teams or whatever, I
think it's Walty that ends up getting full killed.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
Under the final group of teams. They won as a
two man from the spot that they're zero. It was
pretty boller.
Speaker 2 (46:20):
Zero is revived and then something fucking happens and he
gets stuck out again and then instantized and then he
was like pissed and then Walty and Hall I close
it up. I'm pretty sure I remember losing to zero
kind of getting annoyed that he spawned and died again
right away.
Speaker 6 (46:36):
Yeah, but yeah, I just thought that was a funny
moment to bring up.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
Yeah, it was. Uh yeah, So that was our weekend,
Boys and girls. We had a lot of fun watching
some Apex Legends. We do have four days remaining and
then the final I'm gonna throw up the uh, the
overall standings as they sit in the America's region right now.
Lots of time left, plenty of opportunities left, but you
are starting to run out of time if you're some
(47:00):
of those teams in the bottom section right there, and
I'm looking at. One of the ones that really caught
my eye was Team Liquid because they had some not
great days this weekend and they finally reunited as the
Team Liquid that we know and love and not the best.
They drop five spots. They're sitting just outside. By one point,
they got thirty six, Fusion sitting inside, tied with Ape
(47:22):
Gang at thirty seven, so they're gonna want to bounce
back real quick. And there is a lot of teams
sitting right there that you hope to see can bounce
back a little bit. You talk about like the Sentinels,
Ninjas and Pajamas, Fury Illuminosities. Those are some of the
teams right there that are all kind of gauging for
those final spots right outside the top twelve. So that
(47:43):
is where we stand so far. Plenty of time left
for some of these teams. But you're gonna need some
big performances here if you're sitting there and then there's
some other teams like right now, don ohmit, we're gonna
need some big, big bangers, big bounce back days here.
Speaker 6 (47:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (47:58):
Yeah, I mean, the biggest thing for us is we
still have three match days before the regional final, whereas
there are some teams that have already played for So
if anybody's really trying to see where everything stands kind
of going into the home stretch, definitely check the standings
after the Saturday games because that'll mean everybody's played four
match days before we get into Sunday, So definitely tune
(48:18):
in for that if you're wanting to really keep track,
because that'll be the really you know, that's the last
point you could really see everybody even before it gets
in the regional.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
Final, and who knows, complexity could still find a way
and make it. Who knows, you know, anything could happen.
You know, anything could happen this league, So we'll just
have to see what happens here, ladies and gents. That
should just about do it for breaking down everything that
happened in Pro League this weekend. Me and donn are
going to kind of run through the other regions for
people who want to hear more. Let's hit a quick
gad and let's get into it, all right, ladies and gents.
(48:50):
We talked about the America's region. Let's talk about some
of these other regions before we move into the Heart
to heart. And it's just me and don right now.
But there are a lot of different things to talk
about with a lot of these different regions. We're gonna
start in EMEA to talk about what went on in
those two blocks of Pro League. Let's start off with
block number one, Donnie. Obviously, Alliance was the winner. They
(49:12):
had Gaming Gladiators in second place. They have a brand
new look with Funk on the squad. Very interesting dynamic there.
Very rarely do I feel like we see an NA
player move over to a different region, but that's what
happened with Funk as he moves on from Complexity over
to Gaming Gladiators. And in third place, we had Team Theays.
(49:32):
Just outside of third place, we had NAVI with one point.
They were back there and then I think I need
to never talk about Go Next ever again because they
I hyped them up so much before the open, and
then since then they were eliminated so early from the
open and then drop a sixteenth place at least on
(49:55):
the first block day. So let's talk a little bit
about that first day. Don from your perspective what you
see in EMEA.
Speaker 5 (50:02):
Yeah, I mean it's just kind of classic Alliance being
Alliance to get off to a hot start, Unbroken Moon
getting the first game win, had a twenty eight point win,
so sixteen kills unlucky was seven of those. I mean
again just kind of the classic Alliance performance. Had kind
of fell off a little bit towards the end, so
(50:22):
it kind of probably would have been a bigger day
then up kind of you know, still getting to seventy
eight points, but I mean they had had twenty eight
points game one, they had twenty seven game two, even
like six game three, and I guess it kind of
fell off a little bit towards the end. They bounced
back with a third place thirteen points in the last game.
But again, I you know, I think Alliance just kind
(50:43):
of knows like they can basically do what they want
to do in a mea parier league, so they're not
really too concerned about how much they win or lose by,
but yeah, like you mentioned g coming in second with
the new lacrosse with Funk Death, a big shout out
to them for coming in getting the second place. Funk
did lead them with eleven kills, did seem to fit
(51:06):
in nicely, and again I think for some way that
did come from NA they should be coming in and
fragging in these lobbies, So a big shout out to
them for how well they played. And then Phase Clan,
who I believe was in thirtieth before this last weekend,
bounce back with the third place to start kind of
writing the ship to hopefully get themselves qualified for EWC,
(51:29):
which the big difference for inn A to media is
that you have to be top eight so and even
really top seven because Alliance is guaranteed a spot, so
FASE still has quite a bit of ways to go
to kind of put themselves back in the position they
need to qualify. But them adding Nags onto the roster
definitely seemed to make somewhat of a difference at least
(51:51):
for this set. And then the new look Nabby with
a new third they had added Slab and.
Speaker 6 (51:59):
Definitely seemed to least, you know, they were already playing
pretty well in Pro League before then, so at least
seemed that the sub at least was comparable.
Speaker 5 (52:06):
To when they had Zadan. Slab ended up leading Humber
thirteen kills. So we'll have to see how they continue
to look moving forward, because again I think we all
kind of agreed that at the best they had looked
was with Sadan, So that'll be very interesting to see
what they do.
Speaker 6 (52:22):
Moving forward.
Speaker 1 (52:24):
Yeah, so that was the first block of the first
block of Pro League for EMA this last weekend. Then
we move on into the final block on Sunday. We
had zero Tenacity with the win Nah the once again
in second place. They seem to be up there a lot.
Then we have Sha La Lah in third. There we
go with go next they get the fourth place there,
so there's a little bit of a bounce back moving forward.
(52:46):
But down on that second day, anything you wanted to
add in right there.
Speaker 6 (52:52):
Yeah, I mean zero Tenacity.
Speaker 5 (52:54):
This is a different version of zero Tenacity, like the
Oregon draft, the previous roster picked up a different So
this is kind of who they have now. I believe
this was pengu Power, I believe before this and now
it's names zero Tenacity. Honestly, there was so much shit
that went on with roster median Amia, I could not
keep anything straight, So I apologize if I say anything incorrectly,
(53:15):
but just know that if I say something wrong, you know,
amiya figure shit out.
Speaker 6 (53:19):
That's all I can say.
Speaker 5 (53:20):
So But I mean Fanix and Feuda both ended with
fifteen kills on the match day, and again for a
team that definitely could use the points, definitely put them
in a pretty good position. I believe that moved them
up to even like fourth place overall with that day,
so definitely something they need. And they still have a
match day in hand, so they're gonna be in a
(53:42):
really good spot moving forward with that. But yeah, I
mean just gonna go down the list big notables, shah
La La who used to be the Exoclan roster. They
get third, look pretty good with Tyler that Tyler casewiney
and chaotic, and like you mentioned, go next absolutely having
to bounce back after the previous match day do a
(54:04):
pretty solid job. Again, I think there's definitely still some
things that they need to figure out to really get
themselves back on track. As like you mentioned, I think
that's probably the biggest shock of the Open was just
how poorly that went for them, so I'll be interested
to see if they can kind of write the ship
and get back to where they need to be. And
then I think the other big storyline was Ronan with
the first look with Nasky. Obviously everybody saw a nasty
(54:28):
situation then ip roster kind of being taken out underneath
them from at least what it sounds like. Again, we
don't really have every side of that story, so I
don't want to say too much on it, but honestly
finds himself in a pretty good situation with MG Clutch.
Bronan was already doing pretty solid before that, but honestly,
adding Nasty which he moves from like the IGL role
(54:50):
into more of a backline anchor role for this team,
and honestly, overall looked pretty good. They definitely get finished
a little bit higher on the day, they kind of
slowed down towards the end, but overall, I mean the
fifth place for them, definitely in a pretty good position overall.
And again I think another roster that I think, with
more time, with Nasci's experience bringing in kind of the
(55:11):
fragging power that MG Clutch brings, coulda be a really
exciting team to watch. And I'll be interested to see
if they can get into the qualifying places for EWC,
which we can probably move into if you want to
go through that real quick. For the overall standings for
them so far.
Speaker 1 (55:28):
Yeah, so that was the emir region. Those were the
two pro league scrim or not scrim pro league days,
Saturday and Sunday. From me, let's move on over into
a Pack North And on the first day it was
a versus B and we had our winner NOAs Fox,
second place was Meteor, third was our r X and
right outside of it was tech Wing. Let's run through
(55:51):
that first day. Don what'd you see from the first
day of a PAC North.
Speaker 5 (55:57):
I mean, honestly, just an absolutely insane day Fox. I mean,
that's really the big storyline. One hundred and seven points,
which again I don't know how many times in the
past we've seen anybody break one hundred. Again for those
who don't know all the ins and outs of the rules,
they do get an extra point when it comes to
the pro league standings. So that'll be big for them
just in terms of just kind of you know, again,
(56:18):
you're just looking for any points that you can get
because again, unlike the America's region. The other three regions,
like I mentioned with a Miya, are only going to
have eight teams qualifying from Pro League. The biggest difference
with a Pack North is that they didn't have anybody
from the Open taking a spot, so will truly be
the top eight from APAC North. So any extra points
(56:39):
you can get is huge because again you're only sending
eight of your thirty teams to EWC, so big day
for them. Every single player in double digit kills. Laika
ends up getting twenty four on the day with eleven
k damage and then Setuki and four Rufa both with
sixteen and fifteen respectfully, so a really big day for them.
(57:00):
That really is the main storyline.
Speaker 6 (57:02):
Again.
Speaker 5 (57:03):
You know, Media end up getting second place, which is
big for them, are ex coming in third, Tech Wing fourth,
and VEG fifth. But again, I mean it's just it
was such a clear as day. Nosy Fox comes out
winning game one, second game two, second game three, third
game four. I mean, just an absolutely dominant day. I
think their worst place was sixth because they ended up
(57:25):
winning the last game, so it just yeah, just absolutely
in the same day and a big shout out to
those boys.
Speaker 1 (57:31):
I guess the biggest surprise for me is that that's
pronounced nosy fox and not know as Fox, so.
Speaker 5 (57:36):
And I honestly could be wrong. That's just what I
thought I've heard, so you could be right. So I'm
not even to sit here and say anything that, but
that's you know, we're doing our best.
Speaker 6 (57:45):
I think the biggest surprise. Yeah, the biggest surprise we
can probably actually go into Fanatic in nineteenth on the day,
which they have been.
Speaker 5 (57:53):
Playing pretty well in Pro league. Obviously, I don't think
they achieved everything they were hoping for at the open,
kind of being one step away from making from making finals,
but I mean they I don't think I've ever really
seen a Fanatic roster ever finish outside of like the
top three or four on a pro league day. So
it's gonna be really interesting to see kind of how
(58:14):
they bounce back from that, because again, I think that's
kind of a shock to their system and how exactly
do they recover because they didn't play on the Sunday,
so it's not like they kind of had that immediate
you know, like we can get it back tomorrow, kind
of that baseball analogy of well there's always tomorrow, and
so it'd be really interesting to see what that roster does, because,
again for those who don't know and maybe haven't kept
(58:36):
up with the roster media as much just throughout the year,
that roster is completely different. For it was a chance,
it's libel Ace, It's Yuka f and Colonel Garcia. So
this is really their biggest piece of adversity because the
opening was its own thing. But now you get nineteenth
in a pro league day, like, how do you bounce back?
We you don't play for another week. So I'll be
(58:57):
really interested to see how they look when they play
in this Saturday. But that's gonna be I think probably
the biggest storyline outside of Nosey Fox is how does
Fanatic look moving forward?
Speaker 1 (59:09):
Then we move into the second day, here SBI E
Sports with the win Striders in second place and arneb
in third. I hope I pronounced that one right. Right
outside of that is I'm not even gonna try. You
know what I'm gonna I'm gonna stick with the top
three because I might have already messed up the Nosy
Fox one. But that's our top three from Apac North Dawn.
(59:30):
Once again, let's run through all the storylines from this
second set.
Speaker 5 (59:35):
Yeah, this was kind of the story of the lesser
known names because we had in this lobby, we had
a redtal order, we had a crazy raccoon, we had
a rechecked you know, we had to enter Force thirty six.
Kind of the names you would expect to probably be
the top of the leader board, and the top out
of those four teams was inter Force thirty six at
sixth place. You know, we had a Rettal order down eleventh.
(59:57):
We had crazy raccoon who continues to struggle, which is
for those who don't know, that's Oblei Kurmpe in Saint June.
They were down in fifteenth.
Speaker 6 (01:00:07):
You had and like I said, I.
Speaker 5 (01:00:09):
Think there was one or reject was down in thirteenth, which,
again for those who don't know, that is the roster
with Eurys and me a kay. So that's kind of
the big storyline for me. Again, huge kudos to SBI
E Sports for how well they played, getting eighty two
points on the day you know they had gotten I
believe it was like a fourth and the third. I
think they ended up winning a couple games towards the end. Yeah,
(01:00:31):
they won games four and five, so they definitely overall
had a very very solid day. And again I think
that was another roster that really needed the help because
even with winning that day, they jumped up to tenth,
so they definitely needed a big day. So big shout
out to them. And now you know you're looking at
some of these names that are really struggling just in
the overall standings. You know, you're here to have Rental
(01:00:52):
Order down in twenty first, You're here to have a
crazy Raccoon down in twenty eighth. I mean, we're literally
talking about the defending champions from nearly a year ago
or not, I guess not in defending champions, but Land
champions from a year ago being well outside qualification spots
for EWC. That's gonna be a huge story moving forward
because they're even struggling to stay in Pro League, Like
(01:01:13):
you gotta get top twenty two to stay in Pro
League or you're telling me there, you're telling me that
an ex Land champion may not even make the next
Pro league Like that, I think is one of the
biggest things that we'll have to stay tuned for. And again,
even like a roster like a Retal Order that had
melt Stra coming from the fanatic roster. They're in twenty first,
so they're barely hanging on. They won't even make a
regional finals right now. So like APAC North is just
(01:01:35):
kind of on its head. It's not used to seeing
the names like this down in the spots that aren't
anywhere near qualifying or anywhere near leading, So it's gonna
be really really interesting to see. You got a team
like RX, who I don't think many people assumed would
be leading the pro league is number one right now.
So and we got GHS Boom, who again is probably
(01:01:57):
one of the more names that people got used to
at the Open with Hugh lari Man. They're sitting there
in second with the match today still in hand, so
as long as they don't get last, you'd probably talk
about GHS, who again was a PSQ team jumping into
first place overall. So APAC North is kind of honestly
just on its head. And I think that's just what
makes APEX so crazy is that, And I think you
(01:02:17):
can agree to this. It's like you can see one
team being first place, top five that next year they
might have gotten into one single argument about what the
fuck ever, and they're not even in bur league anymore, Like, yeah,
it's honestly crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
And this was what people worried about with match point
format and what it might bring was a team like
reject now crazy Raccoons having like a win and then
being in this position. And I'm not trying to call for,
you know, saying that they're not good anymore, they've lost it,
whatever it may be. But this is what people worried
(01:02:49):
about when match point was a thing at the beginning,
that just teams would kind of randomly get chances to win.
We obviously know that that hasn't been the case. You know,
you could say almost every single Land win has been
followed up by the team or players continuing to have
like really good success wherever they go. But the one
that you can look at, at least at this point
(01:03:12):
is the reject one from La So's. That's the one
that you can kind of, I don't know, you know,
like that that might be the outlier, and I don't
want that to be the case, but at least how
it's played out since that day, it's definitely looked like that.
As as we move forward, let's move into Apac South.
Apac South. Also, every single region had two days of
(01:03:34):
ALGs Pro League. Let's move into the first one here,
VK Gaming. We've heard that name a lot and Don
has brought that name up a lot. They win another block.
Second place was MDY Black, third place was soul e Sports,
and just two points outside of that was j D Gaming. Don.
APAC South. What did you see from the first day
(01:03:55):
of APAC South.
Speaker 6 (01:03:58):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (01:03:58):
Yeah, I mean it's it's a region that if you've
never watched, it is just an absolute cluster like it is,
you never know what eager to see, You never know
what team might come out on the day. It is
just it's a brand of Apex that it's almost just
like I don't even know if I call it Apex
(01:04:18):
sometimes just because out of the game gets played over there.
But I mean there's so much talent there that I
think that's the main thing that I want to hit on,
is like there are so many solid teams from there.
I mean, again, you would think from these qualifying spots
for you know, how well teams did the open that
you know, maybe you see a couple of MEA teams,
a couple of America's teams, you know, getting these automatic
(01:04:39):
qualifying spots. One of those five went to a team
from Apax out so like and you talk about all
the team, you know, the dark Zeros, you talk about
the Walt's roster. You know, you've had all these guys
come to the Americas, and I think there's definitely a
rap that Apax South isn't is fourth best. But I
really do contend that this is a region that if
(01:05:01):
they just get a little organization, is definitely going to
continue to produce talent. And VK Gaming is definitely one
that like I love bringing up because again outside of
the open at a traditional you know ALGs Land, they've
been top ten at Year two in Germany or been
split two in Germany and then Champs. So I really
think highly of that roster. I think they've played now
(01:05:22):
in a couple of different metas and shown that they
can play with anybody, and like you mentioned, they end
up getting first on the day we'll talk about the
Sunday where they pack it up at the second place.
I think they're just a roster that is just in
fine form their first overall now in APAX South Pro League.
So really it's just a credit to them with how
well they've played and how consistent that they've continued to play.
(01:05:44):
He had a solo E Sports with again that is
Sharky's team. They end up getting third. JD Gaming was
a news new ORG into Apex. I believe they have
a pretty big standing in the league if I remember correctly,
But they had signed the old X and Y roster, which,
for anybody that knows X and Y, that is a
(01:06:05):
team that literally just fights anything that breathes. So that's
always a fun roster to watch, and it cool to
see another ORG joint Apex. But yeah, just overall just
another fun day.
Speaker 6 (01:06:16):
I mean, we.
Speaker 5 (01:06:16):
Literally saw a bands of crypto sparrow Ash ballistic Pathfinder.
Like if you saw if you said that would happen
in America's I would never believe you for a second.
Like we always see the Cats and the Newcastles and
stuff like that get banned. This region just doesn't believe
in those as much. And it's honestly just fun to
(01:06:36):
kind of see what ends up coming out of this
region because you just never know where you're gonna watch.
Speaker 1 (01:06:41):
Yeah, and then we move into the second block here
and something interesting, and I mean mean I almost tweeted
this today, but I didn't want to disrespect Donnie I
was gonna tweet I wish I had more friends to
talk about soccer with. I look over at this and
I see the Wolverhampton Wanders logo and I click on
it and apparently the Wolves from the Premiere The English
(01:07:04):
Premier League has an esports division and they've picked up
a team in Apax South. Of all regions, who would
have I would have thought they'd maybe do one in Ameau,
but they do one in in Apac South, so Wolves,
which is awesome to see for me as as just
a fan of the Premier League. They're sitting at fifth.
But let's go through the actual winners here, Green Stego
(01:07:24):
up top, and guess who is in second? VK Gaming
they're there once again, Heroes in third, and then Mdy
Black back to back good days they finish in fourth.
Right there. Like I said, Wolves in that fifth place position,
not too far out of that al Kadzia who had
a crazy run in the open. They're sitting there at
six dawn. From your perspective, what did you see from
(01:07:46):
the second day in a Pac South.
Speaker 5 (01:07:49):
Yeah, it really it was just kind of a back
and forth between VK and Green Stego. A VK definitely
got off to a little bit of a better start.
They end up winning games two and three on E District,
which I think we would get to like those E
District maps, especially for ra Pack South. I think those
teams that could have been to Land and kind of
know how to play that map probably will come out
on top of a little bit more often than not.
(01:08:10):
But when we get to like the broken moons and
like the storm points where things are a little bit
more open, I think that's definitely where you can see
some upsets here. We still saw Green Stego getting first
in game four, third in game five, and they get
up getting in eighth game six, But yeah, VK Gaming
definitely got off to the better start, but then Green
Stego definitely pulled it back, had a big game four
(01:08:33):
win with twenty six points fourteen kills. Just again another
overall solid performance from Green Stego, who I think we
can kind of come to expect these kind of performances
from them. Their only questions ever been is just how
they do it Land. If they can ever pull their
performances from the Pro League into Land. They actually end
up getting a top ten at the Open, so that
(01:08:53):
might be a sign that they might be figuring some
things out. I do say that that they kind of
did throw souls fucking finals because literally, in that game
that Falcons ended up winning, they literally just dive bomb
them on the backside of trials.
Speaker 6 (01:09:06):
So maybe these have a couple of things to learn.
Speaker 5 (01:09:08):
But overall, especially when it comes to the Pro League,
Green Stego, who again is the ex maker's roster, definitely
one that's always solid and one do you expect to
be up there? And yeah, like you mentioned Wolves again,
another just another cool thing to see a big org,
like a freaking professional soccer organization coming in and joining Apex.
(01:09:29):
For those who don't know, that was the old SWQ roster,
so definitely cool to see with that. That's crazy Kong,
no name and donut, which again is just some awesome
fucking gamer.
Speaker 6 (01:09:41):
Tags, so shout out to those guys for that.
Speaker 5 (01:09:43):
But yeah, it just cool to see new new names,
new faces and Apex and like you mentioned, Alcasia just
kind of comes in with a sixth place overall, definitely
something that they needed because even though how well they
did at the Open, they were struggling in Pro League,
which is what made their run with the But even
more insane because even after their sixth place, there's still
(01:10:03):
nineteenth overall right now, So I think that's the big storyline.
It's kind of seeing how they progress. The big thing
for them is that they are auto called, so it
doesn't matter where they finish. But if they finish like
outside the top, you know, top eight or whatever, you know,
it's gonna be the top seven. But if they finish
somewhere else, you know, it's going to really like kind
(01:10:23):
of effect where some of these teams try to line
themselves at, because they might want to try to finish
top seven, they could finish top eight, just kind of
depends where they fall, which then kind of allows the
other teams to see where they're at overall. I think
the other crazy storyline was lonely let Gon, who I
believe was in second overall, and Broley come in played
as a duo. So I don't know if you've heard
(01:10:45):
this story. I think I might have told you, but
a little bit.
Speaker 1 (01:10:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
Yeah, So essentially, I don't want to I don't want
to say too much because I don't know every single
detail would have happened. But essentially Roy, who's the main
il on that team, him and their third got into
an argument just over I'm assuming just the game in general.
It was Tao who was their third. Essentially it led
(01:11:10):
to Tao deciding not to play, but he watched Partied
only lonely let Gon play. He didn't have a bunch
of different povs. He only watched the duo play. So
I don't know what that means for like the future
of that team, if they add somebody else, if they
come to you know, some sort of agreement, he comes
back and plays. But like for a team that was
(01:11:32):
in second place and had a lot of momentum, I
mean again, they had Soji who literally was first in
who was first in the world and kills at one point,
Like to go from that to now you're in fourteenth
overall because I think they got like eighteens or nineteenth
on the day like that is just a crazy storyline.
And again just something like something I feel like only
(01:11:53):
really Apax South would produce. But yeah, I mean that's
just with you know, looking at the overall standings, looking
at names, like we'll only let Gon being outside the
top eight, yet all Cassia is down in nineteenth. I mean,
there's definitely some big names that have a lot of
work to do to get themselves into the auto qualifying
spots fore WC. But again, really it's the big names
(01:12:16):
like VK Gaming, Green Stego have kind of solidified themselves
and are looking pretty good.
Speaker 1 (01:12:19):
But before yeah, so that's just about doing ladies and
gents for everything going on in Pro league around the world,
around the ALGs. We're gonna throw it on down to
the Heart to Heart with all the boys and send
you guys on the rest of you for a week.
Let's get it. We got Heart to Heart this week,
boys and girls. And normally we start off with jumba.
(01:12:39):
Don do you want? I think I'm gonna throw it
down to Don right now. Yeah, I'm taking your spot.
You're you just got your spot taking Jumba. You just
got your spot taking fucked Don's first.
Speaker 3 (01:12:48):
Now go Donnie.
Speaker 6 (01:12:50):
That's crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
I think I will just rip that. I'm very thankful
for the group of friends that have established through all
of this is I'll be honest.
Speaker 6 (01:13:01):
Someday was a.
Speaker 5 (01:13:02):
Very rough, rough day for the Omit crew and uh
yeah definitely came in. Was was really happy for Burke
and the boys. They performed really well. But it's obviously,
like when you do so shit, it's just like all
you could really focus on. And I've asked the boys
for a long time to play among us, and what
(01:13:24):
did they do. They got a group together and we
ripped a game of among Us and that turned to
a few hours of just being able to kind of
forget about what had happened and just basically kind of
learned that, you know, some ships could have happened, but
you usually got a good group of people to back
behind you. Uh, you kind of turn any sort of
day around. So just definitely a big shout out to
(01:13:44):
the to the boys, and uh yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:13:47):
We just go next to this next weekend, so we.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Got to rip it again because honestly, I felt like
that the session wasn't even that long.
Speaker 1 (01:13:53):
No, I love, you know, I love we got to
get in there, honestly, I the problem is.
Speaker 3 (01:14:03):
Like fucking it was one am Eastern, Like, yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:14:07):
It was so spontaneous, like I did not think it
was gonna happen. Yeah, and then just like Jay started
asking around, he literally interrupted it christened them Rank Session
just to get them.
Speaker 3 (01:14:19):
They were supposed to play.
Speaker 2 (01:14:22):
We literally had like eleven thirty like set time. I
show up and then their ranking they left.
Speaker 6 (01:14:28):
So but yeah, like I said, just super thankful for that.
Speaker 1 (01:14:31):
So yeah, it was tough because like I've always been
the one who said I didn't want to play among us.
I just never wanted to do it. I just hate
that feeling of somebody just gaslighting the ship out of
you and the lobby and you're trying to defend yourself
and nobody's belief that. I hate that feeling. I hate
that feeling. So when I go into the first game,
I'm like, you know what, don had a rough day.
(01:14:54):
I'll just play it well, we'll have a time and
then I'll be good as long as I don't get
imposter first fucking game. What happens I get impostor first game,
and literally all I could do my defense was like
they'd be like I think it's why. I'd be like,
shut up, idiot, Like that's all I had. No, I
had no defense. I couldn't sharpen my skills whatsoever. I
(01:15:15):
was voted off immediately. The only defense I had was like,
I'm just gonna kill Chris in this hallway because that
that's all I had. And I was like, I just
got to hope moreover can figure out the rest. He couldn't.
He did his best, and I took a lot of
like pointers from him for the future, but I was
I was terrible. And then Burke threw me under the
bus in the biggest way I've ever seen.
Speaker 6 (01:15:37):
When I did third game to him to get gaslighted.
It was pretty bad.
Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
I actually like were like, I actually think the worst
part of that whole session was how many people were
just fucking trolling on the crewmates side, like be like, yeah,
I saw this guy vent he did this. I'm like,
you are seeing shit because I didn't touch no events.
Speaker 3 (01:15:56):
I haven't moved.
Speaker 1 (01:15:57):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:15:57):
Yeah it was bad. Yeah, jumpbo got a few times
like it was.
Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
It was among us selling out here. It was among us. Also,
I thought Jay would be the craziest impost, like really
tough to like get through. He killed somebody in broad
daylight and got eliminated in their so I.
Speaker 2 (01:16:18):
Will say though having Burke there, Burke is the guy
like where he just never tells the truth about anything
in general. He was just trying to like shoot the ship.
So he came down to where I had to guest
between Burke and Jay. At one point I was like,
we figured out his Burke was like listen Burke, like
if you fucking or no, no, we figured it was
someone else. It was like, look, if it came down
to the twou, I was believing Jay because I will
(01:16:39):
not believe you about ship Burke.
Speaker 1 (01:16:41):
Yeah you have to and uh jump, but you got
your heart to heart.
Speaker 2 (01:16:45):
Mine was gonna be about how great of a friend
Wyatt is and has been. Yeah, I take that back
after he gave away my first slot. Yeah yeah yeah,
uh no, no, no, for real though, mine was gonna be
uh last night I hit fifty k on YouTube, so
(01:17:06):
shout out that.
Speaker 3 (01:17:06):
That was fun.
Speaker 2 (01:17:08):
It was just like I haven't even posted a video
in like forty days. I'm working on a bunch of
other stuff, and like, as I was just like looking
at the screen, here, I suddenly like saw I was
like fifty thousand and two. I was like, wait, what
the fuck? So yeah, I don't know, like that's a
big ass number. Fifty percent of the way to one
hundred k. And that's been a dream since I was
like twelve years old, So who knows.
Speaker 1 (01:17:25):
A se that's huge. That's gigantic, that's absolutely gigantic. We
love to see that for jumba uh e. Do you
want to go? Do you want me to go?
Speaker 4 (01:17:34):
You got it?
Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
Okay, I can rep.
Speaker 4 (01:17:37):
It if you if you if it seems like you
need time, I'll say, like, my my thing is just
like the thing that me is just like consistency, because
like I would say that, like if I had been
more consistent with like the times that I've streamed at
and just like with everything, that would probably be way
(01:18:00):
further along than I currently am, at least like with
number wise at times. But like I've recently like gotten
back to like that early morning consistent grind, and like
it's it's like paying off, you know, it's like consistent,
Like obviously it we're not as big as we have been,
but it's it's a nice little positive trend line. And
(01:18:21):
I'm just gonna keep showing up, keep being consistent, and
I know that if I do that over a long
enough period of time, success is basically just guaranteed. And
so just consistently work hard towards the goals that you
have and it's only a matter of time. And then
at that point you just got to get down to
(01:18:42):
like being patient, because I would say the biggest thing
that like stops people from achieving like the success that
they want is that they think it should happen way
faster than it ends up happening, because like something that
they're expecting to hit in like three months might take
them two years. But like they always had the ability
to make it happen. They just were impatient and so
(01:19:03):
like they could have been where they wanted to be
at like ten years from now, I mean like five
years from now, ten years from now, but I mean
like they just quit, yeah, and so just consistently work
towards things, and it's basically like guaranteed, like they're at
least in my life, there hasn't been. They're like I
can't think of like any like big major thing that
(01:19:24):
I've been like okay, like I'm gonna go out and
I'm like gonna get this done and like devoted myself
really to it that I haven't been able to like
make happen.
Speaker 1 (01:19:32):
Hell yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:19:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:19:33):
And I definitely appreciate that consistency in the morning because
I work from home, so it's nice to have a
rotation of streams to throw on every once in a
while just to have some background noise. I can always
kind on e you can always kind on you being
there in the morning. So yeah, shout out to shout
out to you.
Speaker 4 (01:19:48):
I was gonna, let's go, I was gonna say, I
got I got Don watching. That means that Don's watching
me in the morning. And then when Sang goes live,
he's watching Sang Craber.
Speaker 6 (01:19:58):
My shit, it is actually crazy.
Speaker 5 (01:20:03):
You can probably like you could put the whole tally
and it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:20:08):
Yeah, it is funny too because, uh, my coworker, Matt,
the one who was with us in the in the airbnb.
It was funny because a few days ago, I'm like,
we sit, we work on the same table, and he
had his phone kind of propped up and he was
watching something and I look over and I see Enoch,
and uh, it's funny to me because he had always
asked me about the apex and he could never figure
(01:20:32):
out who was Finn and who was Enoch. Like he
would always be like, that's Finn, right, Like, no, that's Enoch,
that's you know right, No, that's Finn. At least in
the early days of the show when we had first started,
and then now after he's met you, he's like every
single day at work, he's got it propped up, and
he's like, he's live every day. I'm like, yeah, he is,
He's live every day. And Matt's just sitting there.
Speaker 4 (01:20:52):
At work Saturday, Friday, Saturday.
Speaker 1 (01:20:55):
Yeah, but we don't work Saturday, so he's just sitting
there every day at work. He's just watching Enoch too,
so that can sit see man like. It's got Dawn,
It's got my coworker, Matt. Everybody's watched, everybody's tuned in.
That's what we want to see. We love to see it. Uh.
The final heart to Heart mine many a time on
the Apex the podcast, I have complained about my vehicle
(01:21:17):
many a time. I have complained about my vehicle, and
I can finally say I got a new vehicle. I
can finally say it. I'm feeling blessed. I'm feeling good.
There's a lot of great things from it, and I
was blessed to get it. I got a great deal
on it. It feels good and it was it has
a C. I haven't had a C in a vehicle
(01:21:39):
of my own for I don't know, maybe.
Speaker 2 (01:21:43):
Like six seven, eight years, Like it's been along California.
Speaker 1 (01:21:47):
Yeah, and especially living in the like it's just I'm
just surrounded by heat like at all times. So I've
never I haven't had it for a long time. And
bro and behold like when you have AC when I
get off work, like I want to go do tasks,
Like I'm like, oh, I got to stop by the store,
Like I'll go do this Like yeah, no.
Speaker 6 (01:22:10):
Task, what the fuck?
Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
Yeah, Like I'll go. Before it was like I got
in my truck and I was like, immediately get me
home as fast as possible. Not only that, but the
second I would get home, I'm pouring sweat and I
immediately like have all the energy drained out of me.
So I would just take naps before the APEX episodes
because I'm like, I gotta get like something in me
to stay up. Uh it's nice, Like it feels good.
(01:22:33):
And you know, cars are always gonna have their problems,
So I'm not gonna say like my car problems are done,
because you're always gonna have more of those. But I
will say, like to have something that's newer than what
I currently have, something that's nicer than what I currently have,
it just puts a lot in perspective. And uh, it
just feels good, man, So I'm feeling great. Also, got
(01:22:53):
the other car back, Caitlin's car, after our adventure of
it exploding on the grapevine where we opened the hood
and it was on fire. We fixed that up, so
we got two working vehicles. What more could I be
upset at? You know, what more could I be upset at?
I'm feeling good. We've got ac it's great. It's great
out here, right in time for the summer too. I mean,
(01:23:15):
what more could you It does, But I mean I
rarely drive that one. Yeah, you know, it's like she's
usually in that one, so that is nice. When we
go on family trips. I've had a c I guess
you could say, but usually like driving home to and
from work, it was just a nightmare. Like it was
absolutely a travesty. And the original problem with it was
it would just randomly die, like you just randomly die
(01:23:36):
on the street. So I'd be in the middle of
the freeway and I'm like waving people past me on
like a no in mind, and like I was just
dying all the time. Got that fixed. That was prett
That was pricey. But yeah, we're feeling good. We're feeling
good right now. I already bought some like I plan
on keeping like taking way better care of this one.
So I got like weather tech stuff on the bottom
(01:23:57):
of the truck already, like we're making sure this thing's clean,
and I'll oh, here's the other thing. For the first
time in my life, my vehicle has a back seat
in it. So I've always had just like front just
one cat like one bench seat vehicles. All of my vehicles,
I've always just had one seat. I've never had a
back seat. So now I can just take the girls anywhere,
(01:24:19):
even when Mom's not there, so I can just take them.
So like this weekend, Caitlin was like, I gotta go
do something. I just loaded the girls up in the truck,
went around town, did nothing at all, just drove around.
But it felt good, you know, it felt good to
just have everybody in the same well, just me and
the girls in the same spot, driving around doing whatever.
So I'm feeling blessed. I'm feeling good. That's my heart
(01:24:40):
to heart this week. We've got a c we've got
a back seat, bought a car seat as well. Those
are expensive, so we're feeling great. We're feeling real good.
So that's my heart to heart this week, ladies and gents,
Thank you guys. We'll catch you guys soon for another
episode of The Apex. The podcast Say Yuh
