Speaker 1 (00:15):
Everyone, Welcome back to another edition of the Apex the Podcast.
Ladies and Gentlemen. We took a couple weeks off, sit back, relax.
Not a whole lot going on in APEX Legends Competitive
in the first place. We're just waiting for Split two
Pro League to get underway coming up here at the
end of this month. But we do have a little
bit of Roster Madia to get to as well as

(00:37):
talking about the brand new season season twenty six. E
has some thoughts, and then we also get into the
PLQ just kind of the teams that qualified, some of
the interesting things about it, and then transfer into our
interview with saying from the nice guys, but ladies and gents,
let's kick it off like this, E. How are you feeling? Man,
I haven't seen you in a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I'm doing good.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
I've I've had better starts to the split, but you know,
sometimes that's just have the cookie crumbles somewhere.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Yeah, we're somewhere.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
You're so okay, We're we're we're on a journey this
rank season and it's I'm you know, how often does
one really get to be a plat one player.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
I spent very very little of my Apex career as
a PLAT one player, and so I really wanted to
reminisce and really just soak it up and enjoy being
in PLATT because you know, it's an experience.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
I don't really get to have too often.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Yeah, It's like you just want to you want to
enjoy every second, right, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
And so I'm just really just enjoying it.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
Theree is one of the I think the worst decisions
that has been made in recent history about up there
as much with like the I whoever has been responsible
for the DEVO the last two seasons, I'm assuming.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Is the guy the Reed, and I think that he
hates us.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Yeah. Maybe I think the game in general just always
has to have one gun. That's just way better, I
will say, at least with this last Competitive, like the
DEVO was was crazy, but there was a lot of
guns getting used in Competitive when it was ranked, it
was the one. It was that one weapon. But we'll
get to season twenty six here in a second. Let's

(02:27):
get off with some quick roster updates. The big one here. Obviously,
Falcons are staying together, so that's gonna be the big one.
We had said on one of our I think our
last show that if anything happened with Falcons, that would
be kind of the big chess piece move that would
cause everything else to kind of move and shift around
the league. That one doesn't seem to be moving. Probably

(02:50):
the next biggest one after that is the roster with Furiou.
So it looks like Madness is leaving Furia. I don't
think it's by his own accord. I think I think
they came to a decision that they wanted to to
move in with a different I g L with UH
with Furia and it looks like he's joined with Rambo
and Circe, and I think Cambino is leaving due to

(03:10):
some of the champs points there, and Luxford either dropped
or or left as well. So then dropped fills in
with Keon and knocked. Now, I don't think they're going
to be under that fury A banner I said. I
think I saw a tweet that said that they were
looking for an organ, so that that's something that's going
to be going on. UH Zapto potentially rumored to be

(03:33):
playing with Zinu or core Koiful, which we could see
maybe Zionu go into the I g L role but
we've also seen Zap do a little bit of that
when he was with TSM, so that's something to keep
an eye on there.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
And then we have Talmage moving into the Fusion roster
with Dan Mattock, Kimshi and Blinkser. Talmage obviously was playing
with All Gamers Global uh just last last Land. So
those are some of the big ones there. Did I
miss anything done?

Speaker 6 (04:00):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (04:00):
No, I mean that's that's definitely the big stuff for
the America's region. Obviously to start it with Madness and
dropped and obviously, like you mentioned, they fill in the
roles are in now. The Zapp thing definitely is very
much in like the rumor stage right now, no real
concrete evidence of him joining Zainnu and Koiful last we
knew it was Zapp and Skittle Cakes. We're looking for one,

(04:23):
so we'll see if it ends up being the case.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Dated NFL I can provide given that specific situation is
they did play Zap koy Zaiinu for the Rank one
Day one grind, which obviously not confirming anything.

Speaker 1 (04:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
And then also Skittlecakes has confirmed that he is LFT.

Speaker 5 (04:43):
Got there you go, So yeah, there the Zapp thing,
you know, there's been some rumors that Zinu has been
looking to Igl potentially, and it is very interesting the
timing of it, because you would think when you decide
to do it for the first time, you know, might
be the start of a new here and not you know,
after you've kind of played. But if anything, you know,

(05:04):
they've they've banked. Obviously the champs points to feel pretty
good about it, and especially if they add Zap, it's
not gonna, you know, really hurt their chances to qualify
or anything. So honestly, if anything, he might just have
a free split to really grow into the Igl role.
And I think a lot of us have even said
he basically co igl's a lot of the teams he's
been on with how smart he is and how well
he can communicate. So, uh yeah, Zi ni KOI foldapp,

(05:27):
I mean, you know, talk about three beamers. I mean
that would be you have a hard time looking for
who my anchor in that team persus it's a it's
a lot of firepower, to say the least. So that
could be, uh, that could be a fun one. I'm
excited to see if that is what ends up happening.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Yeah, So those are kind of the major moves right now,
at least in NA. There's probably been some other ones
moving around all the different portions of the league, but
that will be for another show.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
Now.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
As we move into the next part season twenty six,
you've got a lot of changes here, boys and girls.
We obviously had a time E District, which we definitely
needed after E District has been a map for a
year and was in rotation for a month. Uh, they
made a change to it already, so that's great. I
love it.

Speaker 3 (06:09):
We definitely did not need it. Missed the darkness that
way too.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Brad definitely saw so many people ask they.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Made everything so more, so much brighter, like storm points
so much brighter.

Speaker 5 (06:23):
Yeah, I know too. It's the daytime, just like we're
fine with night time. I mean most people are grinding
into the night anyway. Like, just let people be in
their habitat of playing in the night anyway. Like and again,
like you know, they wait so long to make changes
on maps. But the one map that everybody loves me
that we all love that has the night time vibe
that we hadn't seen before in any other maps. They said, nah,

(06:44):
we'll keep it out of rotation just to change it. Like,
it's just it's I'm just gonna stop before I say anything, like,
it's just you know, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Anybody listens to to GMB. We have had funerals for
for E District many a sh because we're just like,
we love this map, why is it not here? We
finally get it back yay E District is in the
rotation and then it's like, okay, well it's daytime now
why anyway, So that's that's one of the changes they made.

(07:15):
We also had the rank changes, which obviously included the
drop ship, which I think universally when that was leaked
on Twitter and this is how you know, it was big.
A lot of times. Pros don't like interact with leaks
a lot of like most of the time, they kind
of stay away from it. Everybody was bringing it up.
Everybody's bringing up universal w until we saw it in

(07:36):
actual practice where you can just contest, you can kind
of just go wherever you want, which is just so
weird considering that.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
We already drops yeah high drop Sure.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
It's up there. It's probably you know what it is.
It's probably a pilot in training just trying to keep
it safe. You know, don't want to get too close
to the ground. Don't want to crash that thing, So
maybe that's why. And then also there's no kill cap
and and I think Donnie you mentioned something about the uh,
the getting into the match, like the.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
I forgot what it's called entry costs. The entry costs
really didn't have any sort of sort of change. It's
just it's it's just things, you know, especially the drop
ship thing is just what gets me because you have
something that works, you have something that everybody for the
most part, is really enjoyed and competitive. Why take the
time to build an extra mechanic to make it different

(08:26):
when you already have something that works, Like that's just
what blows my mind that you know, everyone's been asking
for this change, you tease that's gonna happen, and then
you still change it and it's just keeps the same
problem that you've had, Like it just yeah, it blows
my mind.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
On top of that, we had the the amps, we
had the Universal hop ups, we had the RI forty
five that Enoch mentioned earlier. We had the Peacekeeper going
to the ground and then getting buffed like it was
going to the crate. And then we have the thirty
thirty with the the hop up that you can unlock.
Maybe a little bit too early. Now, I'll kind of

(09:02):
kick it off before I let lee, before I let
e off the leash. I haven't gotten to play a ton.
All I know is I just feel like the amps
don't make any sense to me, because I figured what
they were trying to do was they were trying to
eliminate RNG slowly out of the game like that. I
thought that was the change with the EBO. Why we

(09:23):
had that, because before it's like somebody gets a purple shield,
you get white, most likely going to lose that if
they're a semi decent player, And it seemed like maybe
with some of the different things that they've tried in
the past, like they could even potentially do that with
like weapons or attachments moving forward. They obviously just did
that with the hop ups or like, hey, the fact
that you know you got to go find a hop
up and somebody else can just get one, maybe that's

(09:45):
a little bit unfair. So we'll just build them in
and you have to eventually achieve that. That seems like
all ridting RNG as much as you possibly can. But
then when you add the amps in there and with
some of these abilities that they can do, it seems
like it's like a direct antithesis to the entire point
of that. Now. I asked on Twitter for people to

(10:06):
tell me, like, am I missing something here? Like is
there something I'm just not seeing? I haven't gotten to
use them as much. Maybe they weren't as strong, But
I don't know. I don't know how you guys feel
about them. I just they just kind of seemed like unnecessary.
Like evoshield made sense, Evac Tower, survival slot items makes sense.
Like those things all felt like really positive, good changes

(10:30):
for Ranked Slash Competitive. We just if we just looked
at Competitive, a lot of the changes they've made made sense.
This is kind of really the only one where I
scratched my head. I'm just like, I just don't feel
like it was needed because now it's just another hop
up you got to grab, and as the game goes
deeper and deeper, those pills give you a higher higher
chance of getting them, and I just I don't know,

(10:50):
I don't know. That's kind of where I'm at with it.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
Yeah, I'll go real quick and then like you know,
I'll kind of take the floor with everything. But yeah,
I think you explained it perfectly, like you you like
to think when things get added into the game, there's
like a purpose for it, Like there's a reason why
it's in the game to improve some sort of you know,
aspect of the game that is either a pain point
for people or bring something new and exciting. And I

(11:14):
just feel like for me, like you just see these
amps come in, and it's just like, what is the
purpose of this, Like what it like it's not really
fixing a problem anybody brought up. It's not really like
adding a new aspect of the game that like is
gonna make the game new, fun and exciting. It's just
like it's almost just one more thing to worry about,
because like you have to have one, you gotta have

(11:34):
something to compete with everybody else that's gonna have one.
And it's just like it just again, it's didn't feel
like anybody asked for it. It didn't really feel like
it was really worth it, and now it's just one
more thing, especially when you can't even see like what
somebody has, like you don't have an icon of what
that person's caring at the time, so you don't know
if they have the overshield you don't know if they
have that you hit once a freaking syringe and your

(11:56):
health bars filled back up like it It just yeah,
it just really felt like you said, very unnecessary. But again,
I'm sure you will have some more comments on that
if you want to go ahead.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
I think we can't.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
I feel like most of the stuff that I would
have to say, we uh me and Sank talk about it.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
At the beginning of the interview.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
Yeah, I mean I I was super like excited looking
forward to the season. My my passion was it was
it was just very much dropping off of a steep
cliff towards the end of last one, and I was like,
it's all good. You know, I'm gonna be like, we're
gonna come back. It's going to be a new season.

(12:41):
They're making a lot of good changes. It's going to
be fire. And I this very much could just be
a my issue. But I am enjoying it less than
I did before, which I did not think was possible.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
But I do think that.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
It is a It is a couple tweaks away from
being way better, and I think in the last couple
of seasons, we've seen that their response time towards fixing
things outside of the Divo being busted was really good.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Like obviously the Divo they left.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Unchecked for way longer than it should have been, which
I still think it's like pretty much the same o Penis.
But you're like, why are you using a Diva when
you have a re right? And so I'm optimistic. I mean,
I'm going to I'm going to gaslight myself into optimistic

(13:39):
that we're gonna have some quick fixes in the next
couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Yeah, and it's gonna be in a great state.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Okay, Well, here's some here's some optimism for you, like
legit optimism is here. I do feel like recently they've
done a much better job with the hot fixes, where like,
let's think ten seasons ago, you weren't getting a change
until either the split or the new season came.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
Almost they've definitely improved.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
Yeah, so minus having a devotion nerve, which was just
criminally overlooked.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
Yeah, I don't know, they truthfully didn't think they needed
to do anything with that, but they eventually did do it,
but it took a long time.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Still not like the Diva was still like superbusting still now, Yeah,
I mean they didn't nerve it.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
Like they did something with the with the AMMO, like
the bass Amo or something.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
I mean they might have. I mean they did that.
All of the things that they did do nothing.

Speaker 5 (14:40):
Yeah, exactly, they did not.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Literally all you had to do is take away the
turbo charger.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Like literally all they had to do was do nothing,
and they just didn't do Like they just they left
it the thing. But you haven't heard one person complain
once about the devo because they're too busy dying to read. Yeah,
or you're getting too tapped by a p K, or
you have two guys with pks swing your lifeline bubble
and you just Sensanie.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
What about the thirty thirty.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
Yeah, I really enjoy playing Caustic. I do not enjoy
playing Caustic when I have to move from one place
to another and you have six repeaters. They only need
a small piece of you, and there's a lot of.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
There's and they just need a small little bit.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
Yeah. It does feel like ever since the thirty thirty
has become a thing, that it has been a problem
many many times throughout its history, Like it's been a
legit problem throughout this game many times.

Speaker 5 (15:45):
It's uh, gol piercers Man It's just like you got
to find a way to balance that damn skull piercer
because when people get it so easily with only four
hundred damage, Like, what do you expect people are always
going to pick that gun up, man, Like Yeah, just
especially the higher to your lobbies when they can hit
headshots more often, Like you're gonna see people getting just

(16:05):
freaking absolutely sight.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
Sometimes I see Apex do things that because I used
to play a shit ton of Overwatch before I got
into anything Apex, I heavily considered doing. Like my first
couple shows on Overwatch, I loved it to death, like
back Overwatch one days. And one thing I noticed with
Overwatch that I think Apex sometimes seems to be doing
is it feels like sometimes they want to make everything good,

(16:31):
and I think there's beauty in sometimes things being hilariously bad.
Like if you think back to the early days of Apex,
the Moseam Beiaque had an animation where when you dropped it,
you would fucking throw it on the ground. That's hilarious,
Like that was that was a fun time and for
a long time when the devotion was just terrible, like

(16:51):
you would avoid it. Yeah, but I think what it
does is like for anybody who's trying to make a
little bit extra content, like it would be it is
an interesting gun to use. Like let's say, for instance,
the mooseum beaque was back to its old ways where
it was absolutely terrible where you'd shoot a person seemingly
in the chest and it just wouldn't go. There could

(17:12):
just be a me problem. I don't know, but that's
what it felt like back in the early days. I
would just say, like there's beauty and things being shit, legends, weapons,
whatever it may be. Like sometimes that's the fun part.
And like if you want to make the skull piercer
damage on the thirty thirty, like sixty thousand, I guarantee
people could make content out of that, you know, just

(17:33):
trying to not literally sixty thousand, but like an exponentially
high number, Like I think there would be content in that,
people trying to make it happen. And just not everything
has to be good, right, Like not everything has to
be good. First of all, it takes away from the
ranks experience. It takes away from the competitive experience. You know,
it's okay for some things to be asked, It's okay

(17:56):
you put that on a quote card my face. It's
okay for things to be asked sometimes. T shirt too,
I think maybe we put it on. Maybe that'll be
our first T shirt is make some things ass. Why
bab Wayne Gretzky, Why bab again? Yeah? Like it's just
I think that's what bothered me so much about Overwatch

(18:17):
was like certain characters that were shit forever and you're
just like, oh, you know, when you're playing quick play,
it's fun to bust them out. Uh, just would make
them ridiculously broken in any game mode, and it was
just like, all right, this is a nightmare. But yeah,
So that's where we're at with season twenty six right now.
I really worry about Amps going into competitive. I could

(18:37):
just be overthinking it. I haven't really talked to Jay
or Jumba about this kind of thing too. They've been
grinding heavy, so I'd like to hear their thoughts on
it as well, because a lot of times they guide
me in the end some of these things. But we'll
just have to see. We'll just have to see where
it goes. Boys. I think that's just about it on
season twenty six. The very last thing we got going

(18:59):
into this little, tiny bit of news we got going
in before we get into Pro League Split number two
is the nice guys. The nice guys win and they're
gonna be back in Pro League for Split two. And
Don obviously you were coaching the nice guys last season.
I think this season you're gonna be more like sitting
in that analyst role with the boys. But they're able

(19:21):
to pull it off. We talked to saying a little
bit here, but it's gotta be nice to see the
nice guys back in there.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
Yeah, it's gonna be a lot of fun. Obviously. You know,
between you IANOK and myself, you know we've had different
roles with the team and help them out of times,
and you know, I'm thankful enough to continue with helping
them out with some stuff here moving into Split two.
But it's it's yeah, it's just a fun roster. Obviously,
we had a great time watching them when it was
Cody saying in r kN now our kN moves over

(19:49):
to a different role with coaching now after leaving the
team as a player. And then they bring in Morbid,
which obviously saying we'll get into a little bit more
I'm sure daring the interview, but yeah, we're it's gonna
be a lot of fun. I'm excited to see them play.
It was cool to see them. For those who haven't
seen it, you know, the Cody clip is absolutely insane
with how they won, So make sure you go check

(20:11):
that on Twitter if you guys haven't seen it. Nice
Wig and Greek also had some crazy reactions to it
as well. So it's gonna be. It's gonna be a
roster that you know, everybody remembers them for the funny
moments they had just running down lobbies at times, you know,
Cody and saying this being the goofy people that they are.
So it's it's a cool roster to see end up

(20:31):
winning PSQ and be back in ear league.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
Hell yeah, baby, So we're gonna sit it on down
to say, actually, you know what, one last thing don
you mentioned this before the show? Kind of interesting about
this new pro league split. At least in NA, we're
gonna be getting seven new teams, which is sorry eight, no,
technically seven right because nice guys were there last season,
but seven new teams in a pro league is kind
of insane.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
Yeah, it's gonna be. It's I'm gonna try not to
say the thing I always say. But anyway, seeing these
this many new teams definitely brings it a different sort
of dynamic to the Pro League, right like, obviously you're
still gonna have your teams are gonna be the really
good you know, the Falcons, the Shopify is you know
everybody else in IP lately. You know, those those teams
are gonna probably still end up doing really well. But

(21:15):
when you're talking about you know, qualifying for certain events
or we're staying in Pro League or whatever the case is,
you typically when you see those eight teams drop down,
at least a few of them make their way back,
you know, through a preseason qualifier or pro league qualifiers,
just because they have an advantage where they don't have
to play the first round. You know, they only have
to play two rounds as long as they don't drop
the losers. And to see seven new teams come up,

(21:37):
it's kind of insane, Like it's it's gonna bring a
whole new, you know, set of players in the Pro League,
some of them for their first time. It's gonna bring
you know, a lot of inexperience to Pro league, which
we've seen it before. When we have in experienced teams.
It causes some chaos during matchdays and you might see
some things that you just don't expect. So definitely keep
on eye out for some new names. Uh, it's gonna

(21:59):
be excited him for those players, and congrats all of
them for for qualifying and joining the nice guys into
par League for split two. And uh, I mean once again,
you know the America's region. You know we say it's
always the best one, but I think this one's even
gonna be more unique with this many new players. So
definitely excited to watch.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
Forgot. I was muted, all right, I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
I wasn't sure if it was literally.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
I was looking at Donnie and I was like, is
it on my Donnie looks like he's picking up what
he's picking down. I was like, why me right now?

Speaker 2 (22:43):
But I was like, it could just be like is
my internet messing up? Because he he seems I.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
Was about to take off my headset to save time.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
So much, dude, I got a point to never do
like that was too funny.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
And the fact that me and don I think I
was just like, I was like, is Donnie hearing him
and looks like him?

Speaker 5 (23:09):
We both were committed to that.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
Damn, you gotta keep it.

Speaker 1 (23:15):
Bro, I'm going to keep that in. That one hurts me.
I've been so good about not uning myself.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
You gotta watch the YouTube, guys, if you just go
to whatever time stamp it is right now.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
Yeah, you you.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
Gotta peep it.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
Anyway. What I was saying is uh saying great interview
is saying. We talked a lot about his his run
through uh just Apex in general. We also talked about
some of his other jobs, movie theater jobs outside of Apex,
and his stream and all the different kind of stuff.
He's actually a very good speaker, so I liked having
Sang on. It was awesome to have him on. Hopefully

(23:52):
we get to have him on more in the future.
But boys and girls, let's send it on down to
the Nice Guys and Sang. All right, ladies and gents,
for the first time ever on the pod, we have
a very special guest here today, and our good friend
Don knows this man all too well. We've got Sang

(24:13):
from the Nice Guys here, fresh off of a big win,
headed into Pro League for the next split here, and
it's gonna be fun. Already in Pro League for the
first one obviously, like it didn't go the way you
guys wanted to. But you're here again and you got
a second chance at it, so saying, how are you doing,
my man.

Speaker 6 (24:32):
I'm doing pretty all right, enjoying the new Apex season,
looking forward to playing Pro League again.

Speaker 7 (24:39):
So can't complain.

Speaker 1 (24:42):
We love to see it. We love to see it now.
Obviously for the people listening on audio, he said he
was enjoying it. For the people on video, they got
to see the air quotes, they got, they got to
see what was happening with the what's going on? You're
not a big fantas season twenty six, You're a smiling
near to year man.

Speaker 6 (24:58):
I felt like it had so much potential to be great,
but there's just little misses like the drop ship, the
kill cap, the pistol in the game.

Speaker 7 (25:09):
There is not a lot.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
That's a good gun right there.

Speaker 6 (25:16):
Hearing that with the DEVO, I don't think you're ever losing,
but hey, I'm glad. I always like a new season
of Apex. I just really hope we get some hot
fixes soon because a lot of people are not enjoying
some of that stuff.

Speaker 5 (25:28):
I'm just saying, bro, like I'm convinced that they are
just allergic to making the game hard, like I it is.
It's insane to me some of the things that you
see get dropped in the game, and you know, when
there's so many things, I mean, the drop ship thing,
it's like you already have a mechanic that's built into
the game that works for works, and that you just
decide not to go with it and make it different.
It's just like we're just literally making your jobs harder,

(25:51):
like you had to go through and create more stuff
instead of just putting in what you already have, Like
it just it kind of blows my bye. But I mean, yeah,
I mean you already mentioned it, the drop ship thing.
You know, the kill cap. There's no kill cap. I mean,
there's just no punishment with entry costs. I mean, I
was thinking, you guys, you know, you know, I can say,
you guys crying this stuff every day. I mean, you know, respectfully,

(26:13):
I don't think Cody is saying had a great session
based off the streams, but I mean, what do you
what do you think are of them the hot fixes
that they could probably make from your guys' perspective, Since
you guys play every day, you know.

Speaker 6 (26:24):
Would you like to go first? You're the guest, I mean,
lower rank goes first, of course, come on.

Speaker 3 (26:31):
True, I am a platin I I would I'd like
to consider myself the best Platinum player out there at
the moment, and just from your game, away from from
hitting diamond just I don't even want to think about
how many days post split. But as the lower rank, yeah,
the re has to be changed. I think that the amps,

(26:53):
like I don't like, it's just unnecessary, doesn't need to happen.
I will say I do enjoy having them when I
have them. I don't think the answer like the biggest
deal honestly, but like the ree is pissing me off.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
That gun is a problem.

Speaker 3 (27:08):
I literally don't know who thought that that was a
good idea so unnecessary. The thirty thirty either needs to
have the skull piercer taken away from it, or it
needs to be substantially more damage to get the skull piercer.
I think those would be two big ones. And then
I'm trying to think of what has been the bit. Yeah, no,

(27:30):
the ree is really just the thorn in my side.
And then I'll think about it more.

Speaker 6 (27:38):
While saying answers, we'll as the higher rank diamond for
I know, I'm like that, Come on, he's so far too,
it's crazy crazy.

Speaker 7 (27:48):
Just hit it today and a new kid on the block.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (27:52):
The Ree is definitely a gun of all time. I
posted a clip yesterday. I think I had swung out
a door and shut one peak and before I could
even swap my weapon, I was on the ground, healthy dead,
very healthy gun. Yeah, no, you just get a viscerated
Dano snapped, here's gone if you show one. I don't

(28:13):
think it feels that good to use, like like not
like an R nine beam that feels really good.

Speaker 7 (28:18):
But Ree, you just kind of hold the trigger.

Speaker 6 (28:20):
And they're either yeah, they're just probably dead most of
the time.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
I think if there was like an equivalent to a
call of duty gun, that one is the closest I
think I've ever felt in Apex, because for a long time,
any gun in Apex I just kind of felt like
it was it was Apex. I don't know if that
even makes any sense, but when I used the R
forty five, it legit felt like a call of duty gun.
And that could be because I played a ton of
zombies and there's that same exact pistol when you play

(28:48):
zombies that you can use I think in Black Ops three.
But it literally feels like that. It feels exactly like that.
It's harsh, like I guess is how to how you
say it's just harsh to use just doesn't.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
Good with enoch to thirty thirty No, no, why it
has the skull piercer still. I think I read the
boys today in North Pad in that open field, and
I immediately watched nine thirty thirties get shot at them
from every direction in the map and they were dead
before they even hit the ground. It's very ridiculous. Everybody

(29:21):
is just thirty thirty up either die point blank instantly
or you get too tapped across the map, no one between.
That's the meta right now.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
So it's very It legitimately looked like a war zone,
like with the smokes and the shots and like everything.
Like Cody, I was watching it from Cody's POV. This
man's feet touched the ground and I think he might
have breathed the one time and then he was dead.
Like it was so fast with how many thirty thirties
are just praying from all sorts of different angles and yeah,
the fact that everybody can get a skullly p after

(29:50):
you know, maybe one exchange with somebody. It just it's
it's crazy, man. You gotta think some hot fixes. Wholey
are coming.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
We gotta hope we got the list.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
The p K, they basically just buffed it and then
put it on the floor. The amount of times I've
gotten one oh eight ninety six, Like, are we serious here?
I've gotten two tapped and way more times than I shed. Yeah,
so I think you tone down the the PK, you
tone down there, you take skilly pe off the repeater,

(30:22):
and I think we have a we have a pretty good,
uh pretty good season. I would say Caustic is a
little like the fact that the control characters, for some
reason get all four of their little bonus perks on.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
Caustic is absurd.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
You you pop one barrel, you're healing, and you're getting your
barrels three hundred percent faster. You literally just pop one,
sit on it and then just yea and you're good.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
Nobody can do anything.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
That's going to translate well to competitive I'm sure it is.
It's gonna be great. It's fantastic, and I guess that's
how we'll transfer it over in this next thing.

Speaker 6 (31:00):
Now.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Obviously, like things have been kind of crazy just ranked wise,
but saying for you personally, like you got to play
against a lot of these players who know how to
use this shit the best. So, like, are you worried
about some of these changes going into uh into season
twenty six and and and going into this next pro league?

Speaker 6 (31:19):
No, I think Ranked is harder than COMPT of the time. Yeah, well,
I mean, you know, comp are ranked. Everybody can just
land on an arsenal or they're rotating in an arsenal
a lot of time. In COMP you know, you can't
just go straight to an arsenal. You have to go
to his own right, So usually the metal weapons aren't
too bad in COMP.

Speaker 7 (31:38):
Like the devo, you didn't really see it too much.

Speaker 6 (31:40):
It was used a lot, but it's most like R
nine and Peter last season, even though the devo was
just the only thing using ranked.

Speaker 7 (31:46):
So I'm not too worried about that.

Speaker 6 (31:48):
The amps, though, there needs to be a way to
tell who has what AMP, like there shouldn't be like
the extra shield one, it just shows that they have purple,
but they have more purple armory I.

Speaker 7 (31:59):
Don't think of that she shows that they have read
or whatever.

Speaker 6 (32:02):
There's no indicator or like the healing, the overflow, which
is like the best one by far, where you just
pop a cell and your full HP. That one's just
insane and there's no way to tell someone has that.
So you can exchange like a shot with somebody and
they'll pop a cell and you'll be ready to challenge
them and they'll be like full HP.

Speaker 7 (32:18):
You won't even know.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Yeah, they can.

Speaker 5 (32:21):
Theoretically you can pop a cell in the syringe if
you're like a low HP and you just start slowly
filling everything up at the same time. Right, It's just
it's it's insane, like a mechanic that is like.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
Over just beyond op like if you like. I think
like the overflow is the by far, like the best
in my opinion if you don't have lifeline, because this
is being able to just hit a sell and a
syringe and be full HP is absurd if you have
a lifeline on the team.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
The bat one is very op.

Speaker 3 (32:51):
I think those two are like the most like have
the biggest impact.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
And then the Amma one.

Speaker 3 (32:57):
I don't even think I've used it once just because
who runs out AMMO.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
I can see how I'm competitive.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
The combination of having the AMMO one and either an
unlimited bat or the over haul is gonna be like
a devious combo and you're gonna literally be able to
just swap the level ups and be like, oh I
need to get my poke damage, let me get the
full fall a lot of like, let me get unlimited AMMO.

(33:26):
Oh I got broken, pass me the pass me the
unlimited bats real quick and then you just cycle them
and it's just I don't know, I think in competitive
is the amps are gonna be have like substantially more
of an impact than Ricked.

Speaker 5 (33:41):
You already know guys like Privacy are just cooking up
some strats for that kind of stuff. Like it's we're
gonna see some broken ass stuff when it comes to
the amps.

Speaker 6 (33:48):
To say the least, I'm like afraid of that. I
really like the power Booster one where you can get
like your cool downs reduced and if you get a
knock heat your tack back. I'd be really interesting to see, Like,
I mean, no one's gonna play him, but like a Gibbie,
throw your bubble, knock some one throw another bubble. But
I mean, we know he's dead because of Bangalore, but yeah,
I think that the hop up or that part the

(34:10):
amp or whatever it's called, is very cool. That one's
probably like my favorite to use besides overflow for sure.

Speaker 1 (34:18):
So moving off of just the brand new season and
what you have accomplished so far, moving into this next
Pro league obviously you guys make it in and you
guys win that first qualifier, what was going on that day?
Like what what what felt good for you guys? What
was happening and and and getting to that point, like
how did it feel to be back in pro league
for this this second split?

Speaker 6 (34:38):
Well, those that know and I for sure what he knows.
The first two games were not the best.

Speaker 7 (34:43):
Uh.

Speaker 6 (34:45):
The first one, Morbid landed late and kidnapped himself into
a Watson fence and EMP combo, so he just exploded.
And then I kind of just abandoned Cody to try
to go res and Cody got eaten by the Wolves,
and then I eventually got hunted down. So that was
a very frustrating one because the game literally ended in

(35:05):
our spot too, so that one sucked. And then the
second game, I don't even know what happened. I don't
remember it. Honestly, I don't. Somebody on the team through,
but it definitely wasn't me. Definitely, I bring that one up.
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (35:22):
Lessons were learned, Lessons were lessons learned.

Speaker 6 (35:24):
You can you can pick up nodes using their alternate key.
You can pick up traps. You don't have to go
in and like do the right click thing or snap
your fingers and pick them up.

Speaker 7 (35:34):
I don't even know why I dropped.

Speaker 6 (35:35):
I'm gonna be honest, those that don't, those that know,
I dropped on a team because I wanted to pick
up my nodes so they couldn't have it. That made
no sense thinking back on it, because I could have
just spammed my nodes and like gotten rid of it naturally. Also,
the game ended right there too, so we really threw
away two top top five games. At they start, I
go in the wigs chat after I threw and I said,

(35:58):
just giving them a chance, mister Wig, you know everything, Cope,
you know, call me an idiot for what I did,
you know.

Speaker 7 (36:06):
I kind of crashed out.

Speaker 6 (36:06):
I said, I'm not doing the zone shit, I'm not
playing Watson and sitting here in twitally my thumbs I
need to kill stuff. So we hopped on ballistic Ash
Crypto and that's where the game started taking us in there.
Next game, second place, almost a dub on storm Point.
Next game after that, first place, when we're back back
in contention, we're like top three. Then we had some

(36:31):
rough games five and six. I don't really remember what happened.
I think we just kind of got caught out on
rotating stuff. And then the final game, I mean no,
the last two games we got a fourth place because
we started playing Valkyar. Plan was to play edge play
for Purple and then around Ring three or four valcal
In and find a good spot that's available with her
with her old where you can see like through the

(36:52):
walls and stuff. That worked pretty well. I think we
should have won. The second to last game we got
fourth with three. I think I got Sheila. If I
just played slower, we'd be fine. We probably would have
wanted it right there. And then the final game we
just did the same thing. We kind of played towards
ended nearby anomics near the No Name buildings, and we

(37:12):
just kind of played and divide the whole game, holding
it out, and we hit a crazy Valcolt somehow didn't
get shot out of the air. Shout out to PLQ,
because that does not happen in pro league. I think
we die in pro league if we even valcohol. But
we kind of just slammed in a random spot in
the middle of his zone and just tried to hold
it down. And I mean you also the Cody clip.

(37:33):
He kind of just killed everybody at the end, killed
like three teams by himself.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Basically, Yeah, that rampage, it shoots that.

Speaker 5 (37:41):
Ballistic Cody's hands. Bro, It's just yeah, that might would
be one of the better clips I've seen the end
of game. It was. It was insane. But one thing
I didn't want to mention with that val cult and
kind of finding that spot. I mean, we did talk
about being dead center zone with no Newcastle, no Rampart,
no nothing. What is that situation like when you know
you're on match point, all these other teams are just

(38:01):
surrounding you, You have no idea what team might look at you, especially,
like you mentioned, it's not Pro league, so you never
know what the hell some of these teams are gonna
do in this situation, Like what was going through your mind?
Because especially obviously you get back in you're in the
igl role now for the team, Like what is your
whole thought process as you're just in the middle of
the zone like that, and you're basically like, please, for
fuck's sake, don't look at me.

Speaker 6 (38:23):
Very overstimulated. I'm trying to like run through everything in
my head, like who can swing us? Morbid was pinging
some spots and I wasn't too sure what he was
talking about on the buildings, and he kind of landed
in it by himself. Surprisingly, no one killed him. Apparently
there's a whole three men just staring at him. Me
and Cody kind of both landed in the same spot
without commun it because we kind of just saw it

(38:44):
last second, which is like right below the railing, right
below the building.

Speaker 7 (38:48):
Honestly, very safe.

Speaker 6 (38:49):
My only fear was that rock team, a team on
the other side of the rock from us, was gonna
swing either left or right. So it was just like,
you know, hold the angles at the peak, just beam
them so they don't they don't. They don't swing us. Really,
they shouldn't swing us. There's no reason too they should
play it safe. I think Morbid got knocked because we
were gonna try to third party it that he got

(39:10):
Shilad from Height and I went to go res him
and I watched a whole Pathfinder team just zip by
us to go third party that fight win on the Rock,
and right there was like, oh my gosh, we won
the game, Like those guys just saved us by intying
that team. And I mean we just sat there and
we reset and we just waited the third party the

(39:30):
building teams and unfortunately I got knocked in the third
party attempt, but honestly getting not kind of helped because
it gave them both the boys like a purple knockdown
they could reset on. And dude, I don't even know
what the last team was doing that Pathfinder just grappled
in on two people find a knockdown, just eviscerated, and
like right there, I was just like, holy shit, like

(39:51):
we did it, Like we we actually made the comeback.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
Bro.

Speaker 5 (39:55):
That line went so hard when he said get us
a pro league at the end, I mean, that's just
that was just ice on Cody's cliff right there, you
know that just the hype moment. It was, Yeah, that
was definitely sick to see. And yeah, you guys, yeah,
I don't know how you did it. In that spot,
but you guys found a way, So hey, shout out
to you boys on that.

Speaker 1 (40:11):
So m hm, now going through like your entire APEX career.
Obviously we have this whole pro league coming up and
and you guys are gonna get prepared for that. But
I do want to go back and kind of start
off and go through how you've gotten to this point
throughout APEX, because I know there's been some breaks in between,
like some pauses here and there. So how'd you kind
of get into competitive Apex in the first place? Did

(40:33):
you kind of start off just casually playing the game?
Go walk me through like your your process into competitive Apex.

Speaker 6 (40:40):
So I kind of switched the PC. I was an
Xbox kid for a lot of a lot of my life.
Switch the PC around college time and I was playing
Valoriant because I didn't know what other PC's games will play.
I hated Overwatch at the time. My friend told me
to play Apex, and he told me that m and
Kay was a better input on the game. No, I

(41:00):
regret that decision because I'd probably be a millionaire by
now if I just stayed on Xbox, my Xbox roler.
I say that, but I had to learn a new
game on a new input. I was terrible at mouse
and keyboard. This was about season seven and a half.
That's about when I started playing. I didn't know how
to use WASD, so I was playing like hybrid. I
was using my controller in my left hand for the movement,

(41:22):
my mouse on the right to aim, and I was
just playing pubs like pubs up until about season eleven,
and I got fed up with dying at three stack
masters or preds and pubs, and I was like, you
know what, if I'm going to die to these guys,
I'm going to get a rank for it. So I
went in the official Apex Legends discord and lfg'ed in
there and leave me. There are some there's some people.
Those are some interesting people in there. But I was

(41:44):
able to lock in PRED and start talking the more
people in the community. Season twelve, I made my own
discord with some of the people I've been talking to,
like gosh High Psycho. That's an old name, but we've
made our own disc, a little LG discord, and we
would all grind the game. I kind of came into
the His and Hers community and that's where I found

(42:06):
I think my first comp teammates. I'm trying to remember rivalries.
I don't remember what we did. We didn't do like
Challenger Circuit or anything. I think it was the I forgot.

Speaker 7 (42:19):
It was like these many mini tournaments that they would do,
like two.

Speaker 5 (42:21):
Days of the Sports Arena stuff.

Speaker 7 (42:23):
Yeah, the ESA stuff.

Speaker 6 (42:25):
And I remember the biggest thing was one day I
filled for a Razor and it was Blake Ou and
Box of Tea and I remember we won that. We
won that day I filled in. I was igling that day.
That felt really good. That definitely got me into a
comp That's where I wanted to keep growing and see.

Speaker 7 (42:43):
Then I met with Blake U.

Speaker 6 (42:45):
I teamed with Gambit and we were teams Smiley and
we made Pro League season. But year three, my first
year competing we made Pro League, got absolutely thrashed because
we were very lack of experienced. I know, I just
I had just started pread grind, so I wasn't like
comfortable fighting all these players.

Speaker 5 (43:03):
I mean, to be fair too real quick. You had
like Prime TSM, Prime Dark Zero, the you know, the
NRG roster. I mean there was a ton of ton
of really good players at that time, so you could
probably give yourself a little bit of slack with with
that first result because some of those teams I look back,
absolutely insane, but go ahead continue.

Speaker 6 (43:22):
Got our friend Caprime into coaching at that time, which
he's still coaching as you know now. But right there
we kind of broke up and we picked up Tempest,
and I don't remember we didn't do so hot. I
think it took a break because I was finishing college
and I was moving to Oklahoma, and I kind of

(43:43):
just took a big break from the game. Didn't really
want to do COMP because I had to focus on
getting a job in Oklahoma. Came back to do a
little bit of COMP. I played with the Viz in
Tallis and I think we just finished right outside the
LCQ or the PLQ.

Speaker 7 (43:58):
I can't remember.

Speaker 6 (43:59):
It was a while ago, but we finished like just
outside the top eight or whatever, and that was disappointing.
I just took another break from the game, focused on
my life, and then come I started I move in
with my with my now roommates, moving out of my
parents' place. So I was like, you know, I'm gonna
give this streaming thing another chance. You know, always jokes

(44:22):
about this, but I started blowing up. I started making
it big. I was like four hundred viewer Andy. You know,
I was doing good with the ranks, the grint grind
and stuff. But then I just hit a wall. I
hated the game and then I just disappear. That's my thing,
is like when I start doing good in the game,
I like to just disappear for a while.

Speaker 7 (44:39):
I don't know why. So you're not always jokes about it.
He's like, you better not disappear. Now.

Speaker 6 (44:45):
Just took a big couple months break. I didn't want
to do APEX anymore. I wanted like a job, a
normal job, but the market sucked. And I don't know,
maybe it was a sign from higher power or something,
but job market sucked. Couldn't find one, and I was like,
I'm just gonna put my heart in the streaming in
the game again, and uh here I am now.

Speaker 7 (45:05):
Just made Pro league again.

Speaker 6 (45:09):
You gotta think r kN especially because I originally was
just going to be a rank grinder and I had
said that it was done with comp. It was just frustrating.
Our Kann kind of was like, yo, let's run it
for fun. I've always thought you were an insane player.
And I was like you know what, why not for fun?
It's good, it's good advertisement, get myself out there. We
picked up Cody and I was like, oh, the squad's insane.

(45:30):
I always knew Cody was an insane player, and somehow
we somehow we made it with that squad. And our
whole thing was we were just going to play fun
characters and in everything, we're gonna have giggle every time
we died.

Speaker 7 (45:43):
It was all supposed to be for fun, no scrims,
no worries. We did.

Speaker 6 (45:48):
We were doing pretty decent in Pro League, and then
the Open we actually did pretty decent. I think we
got like thirty fifth overall, which is not too bad.
Cody and I were up there for kill leaders on
the on the whole land, and then the rest Pro
League we kind of got slammed.

Speaker 7 (46:03):
I can't step down. Yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (46:05):
No.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
I was just gonna say, you were talking about what
you guys wanted to do as far as a team,
and we were there at the Open. I would I
would walk over and check in on Dawn watching you guys,
and that's exactly what you guys did. You guys ran
down teams and you played the fun characters and when
you guys would die. You guys would just laugh. It
was it was like a fun environment to watch the
to watch Team O MIT go hard and uh, it

(46:28):
was fun. And so after that, you guys kind of like,
like you said, the back half of the first Pro
League didn't go the way you guys wanted. But then
after it was over, what was the decision to be like, Okay,
I think I want to keep going with this.

Speaker 6 (46:42):
I think we kind of had frustrating last day because
it's like I think Cody's in my rebirth for love.
A comp kind of came back and Arcan definitely still
wanted to keep it casual because I mean, he has
a whole life. He has a kid and another one
on the way. It's a whole he's a whole dad,
so you know, to be wasting a lot of his
time with the SCRAMs and stuff and it's not really

(47:05):
his thing right now. He said that he would sectfully
step down if Cody and I wanted to try and
take it a bit more serious with a new third
and that's kind of what we did. We kind of
kept our lf L t LF one up on the
table for a while. I had some teams that were
interested in picking me up some pretty good Pro league teams,
but unfortunately Champ points exist, so I'm kind of useless there.

(47:29):
Like if a team picked me up, that would throw
their whole opportunity for Champs out the window. So it
was kind of like sticking with Cody and finding a
new third was definitely to go to.

Speaker 5 (47:41):
Yeah, I think definitely. I think what shows your guys
is kind of ability and how much you know, eyes
you've kind of caught. Was that, I know Keon mentioned
on his stream that you were one of the options
that they were looking to potentially fill the roster. And yeah,
unfortunately Champs points coming in kind of the worst time
for that to happen, to say the least. But to
you know, when you hear guys like you know, Keon,

(48:03):
you know mentioned, you know that they want you on
the team, and I always do. With everything that he's
accomplished and in comp what's like, how does that feel?
Kind of given the path you kind of got to
this point was pretty rocky until really recently. What you
guys had the success last year and the preseason qualifier
or earlier this year pieces qualifiers, the success of the Open,

(48:24):
and then he won this one how does that feel
to kind of get those like that attention now from
players like key On.

Speaker 6 (48:30):
It's definitely like it's kind of like a holy like
holy should I made it moment? Like I've always been
my worst critic. I've always I always don't think I'm
as good as I am, so to have like people
like Kean reach out and be like, yeah, I would
love to play with you. Love your vibes, love your passion,
love your commitment to the game, which is all true.
I love the game. I want to play it every day.

(48:51):
This stuff is fun. It felt really good. It felt
like I was like actually doing something in the game.
Uh made made me gain a lot of comp confidence
in myself as a player. Just very sad that the
Champ points was a thing, but I mean still that's
in the back of my mind that you know, someone
of his level would want to play with me if
it was possible, and who knows, maybe in the future

(49:13):
it could be possible after Champs.

Speaker 7 (49:16):
Yeah, I love.

Speaker 1 (49:19):
It so so going into this second split, the toughest
part about this is, like you mentioned, not only like
the Champs points not being able to potentially move to
a higher team, but also the fact that Essentially you'd
have to basically win the entire Pro League if you
wanted to get a chance at Champs. Like, it's going
to be a very difficult road. Now, nothing's impossible. We've

(49:41):
seen a lot of crazy things happen, but the odds
are definitely stacked against you as far as this Pro
League goes. What is your goal throughout this final couple
weeks of Pro league to be Is it more just
like kind of honing in on some of your skills,
realizing like where you could put go in the future, Like,
I feel like that's a very real possibility for somebody

(50:03):
who knows that. Like, it's gonna be very tough to
make it to Japan, but there's a lot still at stake,
meaning you know, you could potentially find a place of
further your career going into the next year of competitive.

Speaker 6 (50:17):
Definitely that it's not not out of the question that
we could make Champs. I mean it's a non zero chance,
but definitely is very hard, and I think we all
understand that. I think at the moment, my my understanding
is I just want to be the best version of
me and get all this comp experience in and be
maybe a more a bigger pickup for other teams, maybe,

(50:40):
you know, get myself out there a little bit more.
Always afraid because I know Cody. Cody is just a demon.
I'm like, I'm always afraid that he's gonna I'm gonna
wake up and he's gonna be like, oh yeah, this
team is paying me now, so goodbye all these him.
But I don't know what his plans are. I mean,
just besides playing pro leage. And I mean we picked

(51:01):
up our friend Morbid qq Bitty. He's brand I would say,
brand new. The comp he's done like c season stuff,
but this is gonna be his first pro league and
he's very excited and he's like doing his homework watching
Budd's learning how to play thanks to the Don's helping
out a little bit, giving him some homework. So I
think overall, we're just gonna have a fun time. We're

(51:21):
gonna be We're gonna try to be one of those
teams I averybody loves watching again, just like we were
on Omitt and nice guys, Nice guys two point zero.

Speaker 7 (51:28):
Right now, you just wanna be fun, have fun, just
goof around.

Speaker 1 (51:34):
Yeah, And I mean you guys were were definitely fun.
I would say that first half of the Pro League,
I was I was really tuning, not just because like
I'm talking to Don just about every single day, but
you guys did have a very fun way of playing
the game like it was. It was very fun to watch,
and then going into the open the exact same thing.
Now that the dynamic is a little bit different, you
guys have added a new player into the into the fold.

(51:57):
Are are you gonna pick up that igl role?

Speaker 7 (51:59):
Uh uh yeah.

Speaker 6 (52:00):
I think I'm the one on the team with the
most experience, and that was only like very little experience,
But it's possible. It's very hard, like trying to think
about your macro, your micro trying to micro manage your
players and like thinking about the next plan all while
shooting your gun and like all those all those stimulants

(52:21):
coming in. It's just very like, you know, sometimes we
got to just sit there and breathe and be like,
all right, what do we gotta do? Even though I
only think about that throw I had last weekend, I
think I think I did a pretty decent job by joined.
I mean, we won, so I hope I did a
good job. You had to do decent, right, Yeah, yeah, Yeah,

(52:43):
My whole mind was. I wasn't even like super thrilled
we won. For some reason, this the past week has
just been like thinking of that that drop down I
did and why I did that. I never mind, I
won the whole thing with my team. It's just like
I don't know that one dumb plays eat me a
lot right now. But hey, you did pretty decent, right
we freaking won?

Speaker 5 (53:04):
Yeah? Yeah, Well I just say I think any you know,
captain or coach or igl is always going to have
those moments. Right It's like you could have you know,
five first place out of six games, but you're only
going to think about that six game because you didn't
get first place in that one. I mean, I know
for me, like being a coach for a long time
in baseball, you know, playing sports, like all that stuff.
You know, I think we all can attest to that,

(53:26):
Like you can have a really good day of rank,
you can have a really good, you know, really good
weekend of games, but you're only gonna think about that
one mistake, you know. I think that just shows the
kind of that commitment you have to always wanted to
get better and obviously like kind of the path that
you've lived, like you've only had to, like I have
to always improve to continue to like gain notoriety, move
up in the ladder, like all those kinds of things.

(53:47):
And I think just kind of seeing the path you've had,
it's been it's cool to see you know, somebody that like, yes,
like they're very happy with with success, but they're always
thinking about, like, Okay, what are those things that like
I can always improve on? And I think what's fun
about you guys is like you know, there's there's definitely
some mix of like pro experience obviously with Cody yourself,
and then you also have a new player like Morbid

(54:08):
coming in that kind of has some fresh eyes that
you know, has some things to learn, but it has
a ton of ability. What is it with Morbid that
you guys saw You know obviously you know being friends
with him, you know that obviously helps, But like, what
is it with Morbid that you're most excited about when
it comes to bring him into the fold?

Speaker 1 (54:23):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (54:24):
For this next split of par League?

Speaker 6 (54:27):
Definitely picked him up because we're just like very comfortable
with him. We love playing rink with him. He's a
good guy, he's funny. I'm looking forward to his energy.
He brings like fresh fresh look on the game. Everything's
gonna be exciting for him. I mean he was you
heard him popping off sometimes when we were when we won,
he was like screaming to his wife in the background
and she was screaming back at him, like.

Speaker 1 (54:49):
I love you guys.

Speaker 6 (54:52):
Yeah, he's just good energy to have a good shooter,
good ethic. I mean, he's telling me about all the
people he's gonna watch and he's gonna learn and try
to be the best him. I told him to learn
a character and he's like, okay, I will.

Speaker 7 (55:05):
Yeah. So just good attitude. I'm excited to play with him.

Speaker 6 (55:09):
And then of course we're just we're just all friends,
like we're part of the same friend group, so it'll
be really cool.

Speaker 1 (55:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (55:15):
It's funny because I'm I'm used to like reaching out
to people first to like talk about stuff, but this
is the first time he reached out to me on
discord to talk about like getting better. I'm like, oh shit,
Like I'm usually the one. It's always anoying somebody else
to talk about stuff. So like it was cool to see,
you know how much I think he really is wanting
to learn and and get better and I'm definitely excited
to uh obviously watch you guys, but hopefully a helpful

(55:36):
part of of everything. But yeah, what what do you got?

Speaker 1 (55:40):
Well, I was gonna throw it to eat. Did you
not play with Morbid when you were going through CC?

Speaker 2 (55:44):
Yeah? That was my sixty guy. Hell him an aurprise.

Speaker 1 (55:48):
Hell yeah, what a roster.

Speaker 3 (55:52):
We did not scrim at all and not even once.
The only time we screamed was actually after we were
done competing.

Speaker 2 (56:00):
Enough, and that was just me and Morbid. I don't
even think a prize was there.

Speaker 3 (56:06):
Yeah, I mean, Morbid is a great dude, super excited
to see how this team performs. Definitely from like the
excited perspective, he definitely will provide that great energy and
uh yeah, in terms of just an individual who is
constantly working towards being better, like he definitely encapsulates that.

Speaker 1 (56:27):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (56:27):
He by far cared more than me or a prize
and it wasn't even remotely close. Uh And so it'll
be exciting to see him on a team of people
who care slightly more than me in a prize. Did Yes,
I mean nice guys are not known for caring about
the game too much, but they care slightly more than

(56:48):
we did, and so excited to see. Uh. Obviously this
is a tremendous start for the team. And with with
saying I jaeling, I don't think we'll see the back
and forth between which who's gonna out damage who sang
or Cody. I think that's kind of just talk to
big time, but it'll be in fun dynamic none the

(57:08):
less to watch moving forward.

Speaker 1 (57:11):
Yeah, So earlier you had mentioned a little bit about
like going back into igling and you know, kind of
handling and dealing with all of the different things that
are coming your way in that respect. Is there anybody
or anything that you do to kind of hone in
on those skills. Is there an IGL out there that
you pay attention to a little bit more that you

(57:32):
feel like fits your style, or is there stuff outside
of the game that you do to try and mentally
kind of zone in clock in on trying to become
a better I gluh No, He's like fuck no.

Speaker 6 (57:46):
Now, I mean I play, I play ranked every day,
and I in the back of my mind, I'm like,
should I IGL today? I know, I just get us
a lot of wins, but I'm like, eh, I'm lazy.
I don't want to. I'm just gonna gonna shoot my gun.
That's think the worst part about Igellian is like I
just miss shooting my gun. I miss competing with Cody.
I mean it was like that was our thing. Was like,

(58:07):
all right, who's gonna get the most damage with the
rampage this game?

Speaker 1 (58:10):
You know that was so funny because as I'm asking
the question, I watched you crack a smile, and I
was like, either A, he's he has this already on
lock and he was waiting for me to ask that question,
or be he's gonna say I don't do shit. I
just I love I love it. No, sorry, go ahead.

Speaker 5 (58:29):
I was just gonna say. One thing I wanted to
talk about too, was kind of your dynamic with Cody
because like obviously, like just watch you guys like play together,
stream together. It is always a great time. Like you
guys always just are doing the dumbest shit, saying the
dumbest shit. Just I mean just have an absolute blast.
And like what kind of like how did that relationship

(58:50):
kind of get to like that point because I know,
you know, you guys didn't necessarily like play you know,
years and years together, you know, through comp or anything
like that. So like, how did you guys kind of
build this this rapport where it's like, you know what,
like you don't know what the hell to expect with
these guys because it's you just know it's gonna be
a good time regardless.

Speaker 7 (59:07):
Yeah, we were.

Speaker 6 (59:08):
We were known as a lot of things, the fertile friends,
the pregnant pals, whatever you want to call us.

Speaker 1 (59:15):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (59:15):
I've always known Cody was an insane player, Like I've
always put him in my top five APIs players even
before I came with him, And to being able to
team with him was so fun and at the moment,
like when we first teamed, he was still a little
baby rager and Urkian kind of cracked down on that
made him like enjoy the game and giggle a little bit,
and him and I were just we would just have
so much fun.

Speaker 7 (59:36):
Like our synergy was just top notch.

Speaker 6 (59:38):
You'd go in and just two man white teams with
Arcian flying a drone around. It was just fun and
ranked it's the same thing. We were able to just
crack stupid jokes, giggle, just run around and kill shit
and just have a good time.

Speaker 7 (59:52):
Now I'm gonna miss that.

Speaker 6 (59:53):
But now I get to walk him around on a
droone while he giggles with morbid hopefully. So stepping back
a little bit, but I mean we just have really
good We just have good friendship. I mean, hell, he
works at job, so he's up at six am, so
I'll see a gift, like a cat gift at six
am and he's like, good morning, kitten, or some just
random ship. We just have that kind of dynamic where

(01:00:16):
it's just like we say the most outlandish things to
each other in text and on the streams. It just
everybody enjoys it, enjoy us playing together. It was a
good time. For a while, people thought we were gonna
play with Watson because I mean when we us they played,
it was just it was so fun. It was like
the most fun apex I ever had.

Speaker 1 (01:00:37):
Now, when you talk about earlier the streaming and like
the tendency you have when you're you're you're playing at
your best to just step away. You'd mentioned like for
a while there you were you were bringing in like
four hundred at a time, and that's that's the number
of scoff out there, especially in the in the streaming world.
So do you feel like Competitive is kind of taken

(01:00:58):
away from that ability to stream, or do you think
it's built more on top of it to where you
can kind of layer it and be like, hey, I
have I have both these things going for me at
the same time.

Speaker 6 (01:01:07):
Uh, definitely both going for me. Playing competitive has definitely
helped the psqs back. With Arcan and Cody blew up
my stream, the clutches, we hit, the crazy moments that
gave me the community I have now and I love
them so much and I'm thankful that and playing ranked
Enoch Enoch compete brought me back into the rank grind.

Speaker 1 (01:01:29):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (01:01:29):
Shout out to them.

Speaker 6 (01:01:30):
They're always like they always told me that, like I have,
I have what it takes to make it as a streamer.
I just need to not disappear like I do. And
you know that brought me back for sure. Those two
shout out to the shout out to Enoch, I don't
know if y'all know him, and shout out to weed
of people.

Speaker 7 (01:01:47):
They're small guys, but they're on the come up.

Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Yeah, they're they're making their way through. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:01:52):
I mean that definitely brought me back being able to stream.
I don't know why more pros don't just stream all
the time. I mean it's you're, like, dude, you get
the play video games for a living. It's so you
get to play video games and cry about unbalanced guns
for a living. That is so cool Versus I was
a social worker before this and that sucked, so rather
cry about unbalanced guns and uh, play video games. I

(01:02:13):
don't understand why my pros don't just stream all the time.
I mean that you have, that's just more income. You're
like securing your life even more. Let some of them
get complacent. I don't think I'll ever get replacent like
that though.

Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
Yeah. No, it's a it's definitely a black Now. Dawn
gave me some notes and you you just talked about
being a social worker. Did you also work at a
movie theater at one point?

Speaker 7 (01:02:35):
Yeah, I've been working.

Speaker 6 (01:02:36):
I pretty much worked every day since I was sixteen, frozen, yoga,
movie theater, movie theater manager, grocery store manager, and then
social worker fresh out of college, so I've been busy.

Speaker 1 (01:02:49):
Did you like, did you enjoy working at a movie theater?

Speaker 6 (01:02:52):
Oh, my gosh, it was the most fun and best
job ever had. And when I was at the top,
I disappeared again. I just kind of quit.

Speaker 1 (01:03:01):
He made it to the top of the movie theater food. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:03:04):
I was like, I could have been the general manager
at like nineteen and I was like, I don't want
to do this anywhay, damn.

Speaker 1 (01:03:11):
We got to figure this out.

Speaker 7 (01:03:14):
That was the best job ever.

Speaker 6 (01:03:15):
I mean, you get to just I was like a
night shift guy, so it was just like hanging out
with the employees, cleaning theaters, watching movies for free, eat popcorn.

Speaker 7 (01:03:23):
It was like the best job. And I don't know,
it just kind of did.

Speaker 1 (01:03:27):
You ever get tired of popcorn or was there a
re No?

Speaker 6 (01:03:32):
Yeah, I definitely have like a soda addiction. But then
I kicked that with coke zero. Shoutut coke zero. That
got me like off the sugar sodas. And I was
a big popcorn guy. You know, you carry garbage bags
of popcorn home at the night, the ones that you
don't the popcorn you don't eat. I got over it
for a while and I couldn't eat movie theater popcorn
for like years after.

Speaker 7 (01:03:52):
But now I'm back on time. I'm like I miss it.

Speaker 1 (01:03:55):
Yeah, yeah, I saw Spider Tips. She's one of the
broadcasters for the ALGs, and she said she tweeted out
that she walked into a movie theater, bought popcorn, and left.
That's where I'm at with movie theater popcorn. Like I
am willing to do stuff like that. I will see
a movie I don't give a shit about. I won't
even I won't watch a preview. I won't. I will
just buy the popcorn. If I'm not interested in the

(01:04:15):
movie within twenty five minutes, I'll just leave. But at
least I have the popcorn. I will do stuff like that.
That's how much I love it. So that's why I
was wondering if that was your favorite, because if I
was in that spot, I think i'd be I'd do
the same thing you did.

Speaker 6 (01:04:29):
Yeah, it'd be fantlastic being able to see all the
movies too. It's just like, you know, you kind of
know how the movie theater works too. You know how
long previews takes, so you can show up late. You
don't have to sit there the whole time.

Speaker 1 (01:04:40):
It was good.

Speaker 7 (01:04:41):
It was a good little job.

Speaker 6 (01:04:42):
That's definitely a job I recommend if you're young that
you try to work on a movie theater.

Speaker 7 (01:04:47):
Most fun you'll have was.

Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
There, like one that premiered that was like big that
you got to see like first that you were like
super excited.

Speaker 7 (01:04:56):
About a lot of the Star Wars I.

Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
Was gonna I it was probably Star Wars time.

Speaker 7 (01:05:03):
Like Suicide Squad like all those.

Speaker 6 (01:05:05):
We would do like early previews Tuesday or Wednesday night
before sick and we'd all come in and our pajamas
and stuff, and we'd just be watching a movie, making
your own popcorn.

Speaker 5 (01:05:15):
And you sound like a great manager to work for.

Speaker 6 (01:05:18):
I mean played everybody said I was the best because
I was like eighteen, so I'm still a kid basically,
I'm still a teenager. So we were just doing fun stuff,
like we would take the Minion dolls out of the
claw machine and we go light them on fire behind
the theater because we had nothing else to do. And
we were like, I was like, all right, guys, let's
go on the roof and just hang out. And yeah,

(01:05:40):
I mean, who leaves an eighteen year old in charge
of a building? I don't know, but hey, I was
good at it. I did my job well.

Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
Well. Did it ever feel weird to like? Was there
ever a time as an eighteen year old you had
to like lay the hammer down, you had to be like, hey,
let's get serious here. Was it always just like nah,
we're just messing around.

Speaker 6 (01:05:56):
I think one time I had to tell someone if
they didn't come in there fired, but I wasn't the
one to tell like that. Had the Tom I'm general
manager told me. And I didn't like that. I don't
like being the mean guy. No, that's why you're on
the nice guys.

Speaker 7 (01:06:10):
Yeah, there's that.

Speaker 6 (01:06:11):
And then I've had to yell at some Karens that
come in and yell at my employees, which was kind
of crazy that I had to yell at like a
forty year old as an eighteen year old. Yeah, you know,
they're like, I'm going to go to this other movie
theater and I'm just like, okay, I don't know what
you want me to say, Like, dude, I'm still in
high school. Like yell at me for the eighteen year old.

(01:06:35):
You gotta love it. It's fantastic. Well, boys, I mean this,
this has been great. I don't know if you guys
have anything else for him. Don I know, I know
you've coached him before.

Speaker 2 (01:06:45):
You might have some.

Speaker 5 (01:06:45):
Inside you know. I mean, no, I think the last
big thing I want to ask is like obviously, you know,
you had your first land experience at at NOLA, you
had your you know, really your first like big pro
league split you've had in a long time, you know,
going into this second split a pro league, you know,
obviously we've kind of talked about hard it might be

(01:07:06):
for champs or whatever, But what is kind of like
your main thing you're kind of looking to each pro
league day going in as the IGL is is it
just kind of going one game at a time. Is
it more of like I just want to get this
many points, like you know, each pro league day. Like
kind of what's like you're gonna be your main philosophy
kind of going in And I'm not just asking because
that'll help me give you analysis, but uh no, what's

(01:07:28):
what's kind of like your thought process kind of heading
to the second split a pro league after everything you've
kind of experienced so far and split one.

Speaker 6 (01:07:35):
I just want to like do decent, decently well, do well.
Don't want to just bottom out. I want to show
that I'm very good at what we do. Play an APEX.
It's gonna be hard with no no real experience, I gelling,
so I'm gonna look to gain a lot of experience there.
I'm gonna obviously probably beef with other teams because now

(01:07:56):
I can't hide behind me not being the IGL for
inteing people. It's to be like people DM me like
why would you do that? That was dumb, and I'd
be like, don't talk to me, talk dar can. Well,
now I get to be the guy that gets gets
message and the angry messages.

Speaker 7 (01:08:10):
That's gonna be fun. I really like, I really want
to go to land again.

Speaker 6 (01:08:15):
That was fun. That was a good experience, especially in
overseas land. But that's a probably what we're working towards,
just becoming the best version of us.

Speaker 5 (01:08:23):
Yeah, I'll hopefully I have a chair next time I find
up helping you guys out, because standing up and pacing
back and forth, I think I might have put like
a trench in the concrete of this of this convention
center just because I was that nervous. But uh no,
I'm excited to see what you guys are gonna do,
and obviously I'm thankful to help out again, and uh yeah,
it's just gonna be a fun time to watch, and
uh you know, hopefully we'll shoot a little bit better

(01:08:45):
placement this time, so we don't hate ourselves by the
end of it, make.

Speaker 7 (01:08:49):
You lose a couple less hairs.

Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
And now that you bring that up, I do have
to ask about the Revenant game. There was a game
at at the Land where you guys just busted out.
The Revenant didn't, and Down was just sitting there. I
think he said before the game started, he was like,
I would rather you not because anyway, Yeah, it wasn't

(01:09:11):
a great game.

Speaker 6 (01:09:12):
It was none of the none of the revenue games
he throughout We're ever good. The thing with Cody is
I always call him like a four trick, a five trick.
I think it's a six trick now only really good
at six legends. I mean, he can play them all,
but he doesn't really want to. So what his characters Bangalore, Revenant, Ballistic,

(01:09:33):
Sparrow He added Sparrow recently.

Speaker 7 (01:09:36):
I think there's one more but Austin.

Speaker 6 (01:09:39):
Yeah, but he's always like, let me play rev I'm
like the most flexible person. And then you have Cody
who's like, I gotta put him on a legend he
can frag on and he'll go crazy with.

Speaker 1 (01:09:48):
Cody on that on that big other characters guy.

Speaker 6 (01:09:54):
We're kind of like what would be funny to play
that We played rev but we're definitely not laughing right now.
Gone also didn't laugh at the Bengaler miragere, but that
got us a twenty four kill win at Land, So
there you go.

Speaker 5 (01:10:09):
Hey, I have one perfect all right?

Speaker 7 (01:10:13):
That one was That one's good. That was a good game.

Speaker 5 (01:10:16):
It was all good fun. Nonetheless, I'll maybe next lant
I'm good with maybe not coaching. I might stick to
the analyst stuff for now. But no, it's it's gonna
be fun. I'm excited. So and I know you guys
are gonna do great, so it could be.

Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
A good one.

Speaker 6 (01:10:27):
Our coach now is our ka and fun fact, you
want to come coach? There we go at least be
in the coaching role. So yeah, the whole families back together.

Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
Are you ready?

Speaker 5 (01:10:38):
Some of these conversations are gonna be interesting, that's all.

Speaker 1 (01:10:41):
Where it is.

Speaker 5 (01:10:42):
It's gonna be a fun one.

Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
So do you want to hit them with it?

Speaker 2 (01:10:45):
Of course? All right?

Speaker 3 (01:10:46):
So saying it's your first time on the show, and
so I get to ask a question that I haven't
asked in a while.

Speaker 2 (01:10:52):
And so the question is you are currently.

Speaker 3 (01:10:56):
Performing in the top one percent of the field that
you were presuming and especially solidifyed that with the PLQW
stamp in your ticket to this next season in Pro League.
And so with that being said, what is one thing
that you've learned along this journey to this top from
one percent that somebody, regardless of the field that they're pursuing,

(01:11:18):
would be able to take it and apply it and
help them reach that top one percent and whatever they're pursuing.

Speaker 6 (01:11:25):
Get up every day and want to work towards something.
Never get on the game without telling myself, all right,
what do I want to improve on today? Whether it's
a that's my strafe, maybe a gun, you know, maybe
it's like I want to be better crypto today, I'll
play Crypto. I always get on the game with some
intent of getting some improvement and some aspect of my
life in my career at least. So that's my advice

(01:11:49):
is get on and have a reason to play. Play
for something. Don't just get on and just brainlessly play.

Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
I think I can honestly say that's the first time
we've ever gotten that.

Speaker 5 (01:12:00):
It's definite one of the better answers.

Speaker 1 (01:12:01):
Yeah, usually we don't get stuff like that, but that
was that's the first one. So congrats to you well
saying this has been fantastic. Thanks for hopping on, man.
We appreciate you hopping on and hopefully going into this
next pro league. Man, there's a chance, there's a john
zero chance. You never know what could happen.

Speaker 7 (01:12:23):
Yeah, you never know.

Speaker 5 (01:12:25):
This guy's two point zero.

Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
Yeah, this guy's Thanks for hopping on, man, We appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (01:12:31):
Thank you all, have a good one. Appreciate y'all.

Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
All right, ladies and gents. That was saying shout out
to Tank for hopping on the pod from the nice guys.
A pleasure having him on. Boys, it's been a while
since we've had a heart to heart. It's been a
pretty long time. Holy shit, feels like forever. Don you
want to hit it first?

Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
Uh? Yeah, I guess I'm always the one that takes
jump of spot going first, so I'll gladly continue that trend.
But no, I mean, honestly, I can't really think of
anything else besides just gratitude, you know, like it really is.
It's been a very interesting few weeks with you know,
coming from the watch party, you know, doing that with

(01:13:12):
why and it was an awesome time, you know, obviously
joined us sort of Sunday for you w C. It
was so cool to do something like that because I
never thought i'd see myself doing something like that, you know,
during regional finals getting rated by uh by play Apex
was insane. So like getting into streaming is definitely a
world I just never thought i'd see myself in. Uh,

(01:13:34):
you know, not really looking to do anything crazy, just
kind of vibe out, have a good time with it.
But uh again, just really grateful for a lot of
the opportunities have been getting and obviously just grateful to
be back with the nice guys doing some research and
stuff for him for this second split of Pro League.
And again just super thankful for you know, Enoch with
getting me that started on that path to begin with,
worth working with working with the boys, and uh yeah, man,

(01:13:58):
I'm just really looking forward to a lot of great things.
And I guess I'm grateful too that I finally got
my ass running the other day, ran like two and
a half miles, which about passed out and died because
it's like eighty five ninety degrees here. But no, a
lot of good things going on. Definitely a lot of
things to be thankful and grateful.

Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
For so yeah, I'm gonna go opposite of gratefulness, even
though it's sacrilegious on this show. And it's really not
me being grateful because I am grateful that I got home.
But my travel struggles this year have been astronomical, Like
I just don't understand, like I've got to be doing
something wrong. But I've been on I think this year.

(01:14:39):
I went to Japan, I went to New Orleans with
the Boys, I went to Virginia, and then I went
to Chicago. Those are the four trips I've had so
far this year. One was for work. That was the
Chicago one. The other ones were for pleasure. But the
three for pleasure all had massive, massive problems. We were

(01:15:01):
three hours in the air and then had to turn
around because we lost radar with Japan, had to fly
three hours back to LA then restart our twelve hour flight,
and we were stuck in an airport for I think
like twenty four hours before the flight, So that one
was terrible. Then New Orleans with the boys driving up

(01:15:22):
to Lax, my fiance's car literally caught on fire on
the grapevine. Cost me a pretty penny to get that
fixed and towed back to town because we were already
basically like two hours out, and that was tough. Before
I even got on the plane, I had dropped like
a grand so that was tough. And then on this

(01:15:44):
most recent trip, my friend's wedding, everything was fine getting there,
Actually it wasn't fine. We made our flight by I
think like three minutes. They were calling group six and
we were group nine. That's when we walked like getting in.
I've never been that late. I'm usually four hours early
to an airport, but we made a mistake in judgment,

(01:16:07):
but we made it on. So I can't even complain
about that. On the way home, I go to get
my flight. We wake up in the morning, everybody's like,
did you get your confirmation email? I go, no, mind you.
When we bought this flight months ago. I bought it
first and I was streaming it in Discord for everybody
to see so that they could all buy the same
flight and buy the same seats. I buy the flight.

(01:16:29):
After I go to the desk, the guy's like, yeah, like,
you're not on here. I was like, I'm sure because
I didn't get a confirmation email, but like what the fuck?
So they basically say we're not there. I have to
find a way to try to fly back to town.
All the flights are one thousand plus dollars and all

(01:16:49):
of them are full. So then essentially me and my
fiance buy a like five hundred dollars flight to Lax
and then have to buy buy a rental car to
drive home, which is another two hundred bucks or whatever.
So that was the problem. And then my friends who
were on the flight, apparently the seat that I had
bought wasn't actually a seat, even though they showed it

(01:17:11):
on their airplane diagram when you buy your seats it
was a seat on there, it wasn't a seat. So
I'm pretty sure what happened was I bought it and
they just refunded it. It didn't let me know, and
I was just not on that flight, and I had
to go and have all this process happen and it
was an absolute nightmare. Didn't make it back into town

(01:17:32):
from my flight till five am Monday morning, so I
had to obviously call out of work. But yeah, I'm
just the worst when it comes to traveling. And you
know it's bad because I feel like a lot of
times I can gauge if I'm overreacting on things talking
to Jayhawk, and there was a recent time where Jay
was just like, yeah, dude, I don't know something fucked

(01:17:56):
stuff keeps happening. I'm like, dude, I don't know what
it is. I don't know what it is. But yeah,
so we made it home. We you know what. That's
all you can really ask for at the end of
the day. But I just wanted to share some travelos
because I'm really wanting to go to Japan again in January.
But I'm low key scared. I'm like, what else could

(01:18:16):
go wrong at this point? Like it, things just keep happening,
So we'll see. We'll see what happens there. That's my
heart to heart this week. I guess the heart to heart,
if you want to turn it into a positive, it's
making it home safely and soundly. So that's what it
is there. It is.

Speaker 5 (01:18:32):
I've literally thought about flying out to you before going
to Japan. I just don't think I can do that
now because I've already I've already terrified a flying based off.

Speaker 2 (01:18:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:18:42):
Yes, I'm really trip if dude.

Speaker 1 (01:18:45):
I literally thought about it on the way home. I
was on the plane and I was like, because we
had talked about that, like all going together on the
same flight, and I was like, dude, I have to like,
I think I have to tell them boys, I'm gonna
nerf you and I should probably go by myself, Like IX, yeah,
I need to go by myself so this doesn't happen

(01:19:06):
to you guys, Like, yeah, literally, I might just swim there.
I mean, fuck it right, yeah, uh your heart to heart.

Speaker 2 (01:19:19):
Man, gratitude, it's a great thing.

Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
Now I'm gonna I'm gonna just be real, like I'm
I'm very like, even even at the absolutely worst of it,
I'm incredibly grateful in the fact that I've been able
to do it for as long as I've been doing it,
even even when it's like like fairly like I would say,
like last like two weeks for sure have been like
fairly miserable for me on stream. I'll figure it out,

(01:19:46):
you know, even in my misery, like like my worst
day is like somebody's like dream, you know. Yeah, And
so that's always something that I always need to keep
perspective in and hopefully I will find ways, uh to
to be able to do my work and put.

Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
In a good amount of time and not be miserable.

Speaker 3 (01:20:09):
I've got some side things I'm gonna be working on
as well, which I'm excited to to see where those
things go. And yeah, I'm just I'm grateful that even
on my worst day, I'm still just beyond blessed.

Speaker 2 (01:20:27):
And yeah, I like.

Speaker 3 (01:20:31):
I complained way too much about playing video games for
a living as a guy who plays video games for
a living, and people have showed me more support than
I feel like I deserve for how much I've been
bitching and complaining as of late. But I'm getting better
at it. I entered as a state in today's stream

(01:20:53):
where I was post tilt, where I felt like I
had experienced an interaction that typically I would have just lost,
but I just was like, I'm I like, I was
just I couldn't I couldn't even bother getting it.

Speaker 2 (01:21:08):
So I was I was postel. Let's see if I.

Speaker 3 (01:21:10):
Can bring that uh, bring that energy tomorrow or just
have a good day tomorrow. You know of not having
bad days of APEX, but you know, yeah, bad days
of APEX are still really great days.

Speaker 1 (01:21:23):
Yeah, the next.

Speaker 5 (01:21:25):
Time I crash out because I literally just won an
award for those who don't know, for best end game
crash Out on the GMB Podcast. So uh yeah, yeah,
big shout out to that, but.

Speaker 1 (01:21:37):
Big shout out to Enoch for hosting the finals. That was.
That was huge till that, dude, it worked out perfectly.
I wish we would have started the game a little bit,
but dude, beautiful, it was beautiful, great finals went crazy,
it was it was awesome. Shout out Enoch for that.

(01:21:57):
