Speaker 1 (00:14):
What everyone.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Welcome back to another edition of the Apex the Podcast.
Ladies and gentlemen. We've got some roster manius stuff to
talk about here. No blocks of Pro League at all,
we have those coming up this weekend, but we do
have some crazy roster news to get to as well
as the heart to heart. But boys and girls, let's
check in with the boys first. E how you're feeling men, I.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Feel better that I went to the gym.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
I had a pretty miserable day on APEX, but you
know what happens to the best of us. Got to
get those out of the way eventually. But the gym
was nice.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
How's this?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
How's the ranks grind been post Seer buff Has there
been that much of a change or no?

Speaker 4 (00:53):
I mean I would say like the first couple of
days there's like a fairly large uptick of sears. But
at this point you'll run into it on every like
now and then. But there's it was like a pretty
hard drop off of everybody like hard.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Playing him, like testing them out, seeing how it goes.

Speaker 4 (01:10):
Yeah, it's not nearly as big of a deal as
in those first two days, especially.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
Okay, they'll just.

Speaker 5 (01:16):
Ring around a rosie with alter at this point.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
So, yeah, they gotta do something about that character.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Yeah, then you make it so that you literally like
cannot take the TP if you're knocked, and that the
only way that you could get like like saved while
are you being knocked as if a teammate drags you.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
We're just still gonna be really good.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
But it would definitely substantially cut down the amount of
times where a full team gets out and you're just
like because you get one, like you knock one guy
and it's like all right, hold up, everybody, let's reset.

Speaker 6 (01:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:50):
Yeah, we talked about this one was me and Jay
and I think Donnie and Connor, and we were just
basically saying, like the fact that you can have two
down makes it that like you can set one up,
like like if you were to make it that only.

Speaker 6 (02:02):
Knock players can do knock players can't take it.

Speaker 7 (02:04):
Sorry, is that you set one up if you want
to fall back before everyone gets knocked. But your alter
player could also be running around with the second alt
in their inventory that like when someone goes down, they
can drop it and then pull you and it's still
like op, like I do that right now anyways? Right,
So it's like, Yeah, I just I feel dirty because
I have since playing with E become the altered main

(02:26):
I love for tactical, it's sweet, it's fun.

Speaker 6 (02:29):
I'd love for that to still be a thing. But yeah,
I all just is lame.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, they need to do something with the character's been
around for way too long.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
JUMPA. How are you feeling feeling great?

Speaker 7 (02:42):
You know you're just been grinding out this Master's video
seeing that like I gained fifteen hundred, then seven hundred
and then a thousand RP back to back.

Speaker 6 (02:52):
If you're having bad days, you know my number. Hit
me up. Bro, I got you.

Speaker 7 (02:57):
And maybe it's just you know you're missing me like
we were.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Maybe just who's gonna be pulling?

Speaker 6 (03:07):
Like, who's gonna be sitting there with the altar report
to pull you back?

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Masters player?

Speaker 2 (03:11):
By the way, not tuh Donnie.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
How are you doing?

Speaker 5 (03:16):
Man, I'm not gonna lie. I'm tired, Bro. It's been
at these Monday Tuesday wednesdays of all the stuff we
do between the couple podcasts makes it a long couple
of nights.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Listen, bro, imagine having to edit those things afterwards. Man,
I swear my weeks just fly by I like, wake
up and it's Friday already.

Speaker 7 (03:36):
Yeah, I will not lie.

Speaker 5 (03:38):
I've thought about being like, hey, maybe I'll ask why
if he wants help. Editing are tired.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
I will take anything.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
I will take you will one of these days I'll
actually attempt to because I feel like we need to.
But anyway, other than that, though, things are, things are solid.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
So it's start an editing podcast.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Why yeah, we just edit. I just go live and
it's just editing, non stop crap. Grab my edit, yeah,
grab my atit. There we go. All right, boys, Well,
I just wanted to check in with everybody. No Pro
League this weekend, so I didn't get to see the
boys as much as I normally get to. But let's
get into some of the bigger actions surrounding the league
right now. And it was just about all roster mania.

(04:16):
Let's kick it off with the first one comes from Alberlelly.
He says, joining Noddy and Shoeby for the rest of
Pro League champs, we need top eight this Pro League
to quall. Very excited to get to work with both
of these guys.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Again.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I've got very high hopes for us as a team.
We'll be maintaining the Stallion's name as well. Let's get
to work, so al But moves over from that Stallions
roster joins up with Noddy and Shoeby and Jumba. I
guess I'll throw it down to you first. He did
say that Naughty is going to continue being the IGL.
They've played together when they were back with the h

(04:49):
with the Animals, They're back together once again. How do
you feel about this move overall for all parties involved.

Speaker 7 (04:56):
I heard and saw something maybe if you guys can
correct me on this, that you saw as well. But
I saw a tweet where Alb was saying something along
the lines is that he just felt that he had
reached his peak alongside Enemy and Crook and that it
just wasn't working out.

Speaker 6 (05:12):
He needed like a change of scenery. LG or sorry.

Speaker 7 (05:15):
Exterminators with Alb's points are somewhat of a contender now
for Champs. So you know, I've always loved Shube. I
think he's one of the most underrated players in the game.
We've talked about Naughty's eye yelling now and I want
to see that continue to develop. He's got some of
that chemistry having played with al before, and I used
to love Alb and Naughty together just like the vibes

(05:36):
in the coms with them was always so funny. So like,
I'm excited to see them back together. Now how do
they perform? I saw Alb also say that they need
top eight.

Speaker 6 (05:42):
I think it's more than that.

Speaker 7 (05:44):
Top eight gets them like literally on the cutoff of
possibly making it in.

Speaker 6 (05:48):
They probably need something like a top five. They're in
that area. They're eighth right now in pro league.

Speaker 7 (05:53):
Could they do it seeing how LG played on their
one good day, yes, but they need to find a
little bit more of that consistency. Maybe Alb can bring
that to the team. Jelly's a young guy, he's a
you know, newer to scenes, only his first year in
pro league. So again maybe Alb with more of that
experience where that skill can do that for them.

Speaker 6 (06:10):
So yeah, I'm excited for that roster.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Don They did have the one good day, but they
I believe they've also had two kind of mediocre days
with Naughdi at Igl and we were all really excited
after that first day, but that doesn't like you still
have to be consistent. Like Jumbas said, do you think
with Alb joining this roster that that adds to that
because even back in the Animals days, they were kind
of in that same boat. It always seemed like one

(06:33):
step forward, two steps back. You think they can get
back to this form and potentially reach like that top
five Jumba was saying that they need.

Speaker 5 (06:42):
Yeah, I definitely think they can. Like Jumba mentioned, you know,
just bringing in a guy that's the experienced, right, it's
usually only is gonna help a roster like this and
just even watch them a little bit to start off
with with how you know, kind of the relationship has been.
When it's come to like the ijil in and who's
calling what, it definitely feels very co igl, you know,

(07:04):
not he's not obviously having to micro album a lot,
right because I'll you know, it's been there, done that
with a lot of these situations, so he doesn't have
to tell them all the little movements that maybe he
was telling Jelly at times. But yeah, I mean, I
think they definitely can do it. I agree eighth Place
is definitely very ambitious to kind of bank your odds on,
just because, like he said, that literally puts you in

(07:26):
like that thirty one thirty two in Champs Points, and
that's if you know, you qualify basically in that position.
If the regional finals winners and the split two winners
are all different, that's the only way it extends down
that far.

Speaker 7 (07:40):
So all different and have already qualified four change yeah yeah,
which so there's plice team in Na has not qualified
for Champs. So that's already an issue.

Speaker 8 (07:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
So yeah, so yeah, there's a ton of things that
have to go right. If it is eighth place where
they end up again with how they've started, you know,
if they always can continue to build off of that,
they'll be in a really good spot. But obviously they
have to learn a lot quickly. But that's the advantage
of them playing before. You know, they have kind of
how each other plays, how each other comes, and it's

(08:11):
just kind of getting back into the groove of things.

Speaker 6 (08:14):
Yeah, not just animals.

Speaker 7 (08:14):
Remember they go all the way back to see note
like they had like some success like at times. So yeah, yeah,
so that's just.

Speaker 5 (08:23):
Yeah, there's a history, there's a there's a lot to
like on paper. Again, it's just how quickly can they
mesch Agan, I mean, all the pieces are there. I
mean it's it's hard to argue with those names are
on that roster. So let's see what happens.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Yeah, I do.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Going back to your point jump of saying that or
what Al was saying, he felt like he had reached
his pinnacle with with that twisted mind roster, I was.
I was starting to feel the same way because you
could start to see that drop off a little bit,
and it just seemed like they couldn't really get those
performances that we were used to seeing from the early
moments with the twisted minds.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Roster just felt.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
I think we had one one decent day at the
very beginning of Pro league, and then other than that,
it's like.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
The performances just weren't up to par.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
And so I gotta wonder if this had been on
his mind for a little bit now getting ready to
make a move like this, and then obviously you go
to something more comfortable. I really would love to see
them make it in just because, like you said, I
just I feel like Shoueby's got to be a champs.
He's so fun to watch, He's electric, he's incredible, he's
next level.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
Man.

Speaker 6 (09:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (09:23):
The only weird thing about all well, maybe I'll talk
about this more later, but like with all these rosterching
just happening mid split because they need to finish the
split with the team they're going to Champs, so it's
happening now rather than after Pro League. It's just it's
crazy to see, like we have so many teams swapping
like this right now. It also is affecting, like Shoeby
and Naughty had no chance of going to Champs really

(09:47):
without winning this league or without winning regional final, and
now they're a contender, right, And so that also kind
of makes it where it's like even if they think
that like Jelly would have been better for them, they
probably just like we need Max, so they take them back,
not saying that's what happened, but this could be even
the same for others.

Speaker 5 (10:03):
The factor that's definitely a factor too. I mean you
even look back to split one too, it's like we've
had both swits of Pro League now where you've had
massive changes to rosters. It's just been like what that
Pro League? Yeah, yeah, it's just like what the hell
has the season been?

Speaker 6 (10:17):
Like?

Speaker 5 (10:17):
It's just been absolutely wild.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Well, especially this Pro League, Like it doesn't like it
doesn't like really matter too much in terms because like
everything is like Champs points oriented and so like, yes,
people are gonna be picking up chance points.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Uh, but like the amount.

Speaker 4 (10:33):
Of team swapping that Champs points has impacted is just unreal. Like,
like I believe like one of the ones that we're
gonna be talking about next is like Sarce is going
to be taking out spot over on his like his
former team and he's leaving one of the top performing
teams in Pro league right now because he guarantees Champs

(10:58):
Champs and so.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
On that number one team. Imagine number one team, but
you go down in the standings because you go like
the because you're going to change.

Speaker 4 (11:05):
Because you're going to Champs and Champs points is a
large reason on why Sirs ended up playing on KCP
in the first place, because he gets the Champs points
from being.

Speaker 3 (11:15):
The sub for Orchid.

Speaker 4 (11:18):
Yeah, and so it's actually just like moves by like Loki,
he's been getting it done.

Speaker 8 (11:28):
Well.

Speaker 7 (11:28):
We made we made a joke because like he got
with they were nine lives at the time, but now
and he like he got points with them at the
Open for making the finals and so he had like
three four hundred points and like so suddenly he just
became like this this bombshell of like Hey, he's floating
around four hundred points out there. And if I was
a team who was in Pro League and like kind

(11:49):
of on that cusp of qualifying, but what like maybe
I just joined it.

Speaker 6 (11:51):
I got the least points. People might be like Surse
is kind of looking nice, right, yeah, like you might
be on the way out.

Speaker 5 (11:57):
Yeah, like some of these teams that have or it's
just like, I mean, shit, do we sign him as
a sub just a guarantee we're gonna be at jvs?
Like there were so many wild scenarios Emberolvus are thrown
out in the discord we were talking about this stuff.
It was just like it, I mean, just what a
crazy situation that man's had to be in to be
like what his fifth roster this year so far? Like
it's nuts.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (12:17):
I keep throwing out jokes about like someone like Zach
should now convince like zero in them that like Timmy
has to sub for his team so that Timmy gets
a thousand points, a thousand points like getting him dropped,
Like would you be surprised if something like that.

Speaker 6 (12:34):
I mean, Timmy would obviously have to agree to. I
don't know if he's even up for it.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
But yeah, it's just it's I don't know. I don't
know what they're gonna do going into next season.

Speaker 8 (12:43):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (12:43):
I think that the Champs point situation thing has been
interesting and stuff like that. I really hope I don't
see it continue because I just feel like it's it's
stifled a lot of like things that could have been
more fun, more interesting going into like these off seasons
in these pro leagues. I think they kind of shot
themselves in the foot with how they've set this up
a little bit here.

Speaker 7 (13:04):
Well, I think it's made of confusing too, because like
other pro leagues, you just know, okay, top eight, top ten,
top twelve are going to land.

Speaker 6 (13:11):
So if I'm someone who's a little bit more of
a casual viewer, I pop into the main broadcast. I
watch it there. I listen to them.

Speaker 7 (13:17):
I see what's happening, right, I understand what I need
to pay attention to for the teams that are qualified.
We came into this pro league talking about how it
really did not matter other than the money that they
earn and the winner and the other team like that
wins regional finals, going it shouldn't have mattered for everyone.
So I thought, there's gonna be like no stakes here
because for ninety percent of teams they got no chance anyways. Right,

(13:37):
So then I start not caring and casual viewers like
probably if they knew this, probably don't care as much either.
But on top of that, like if they need to
know the stakes, they need to know like about like
who needs to win, and then who needs to like
get regional finals win to go. But then now even
gets to a thing where it's like I'll fight I'll
say it if you're not listening to like a podcast
like this, because like you know, Jay doesn't get to

(13:59):
cover this in his videos. I don't cover this in
my videos. Who the hell is is covering this stuff
online really and breaking it down? Maybe some people on streams.
So if you're not listening to something like this podcast
or I know there's a couple of other shows out there,
how the fuck do you know who has enough points
and who's on the chopping block?

Speaker 6 (14:12):
Right? Like, even I have troubles following it.

Speaker 7 (14:14):
I know, because Jay and Donnie have created a sheet
that they talk about an update in the freaking in
the in the discord.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Yeah, right, Like literally, if you if you had no
knowledge and you just were not able to listen to
a show like this or any other show that's similar
to this, you just think Sirs is like gotta be
the most sought after player of all time.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
You're like, why why does everybody want Or.

Speaker 7 (14:32):
On the flip side, you might think, why does Circe
keep getting dropped from his teams? Because like he did
get dropped from one of his teams, right, so you
might from two of them actually, so you might be
thinking of that too, like like you might not know
about this whole bouncing around with like points thing, and
it's just like yeah, like there's like, right now we're
talking about exterminators. I know there's a couple eight back
North teams that are just on the bubble of like
making it in. There's a like another NA team fucking

(14:55):
strafing Flames, not even fucking playing pro league anymore, but
he's going to Champs right with whatever team he formed.
We still don't know, Like there's so many of these
different moves happening and you're wondering why and you don't
know that it's because if these teams do this, now
they have a chance to qualify, and no person that
doesn't look into this stuff isn't good and up.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
What I what I respect about the system is they
tried to make a change from what was happening before,
which was in between these Pro League's teams would just
randomly form out of nowhere and they just had to
keep the coach in like a sub and you could
keep like this roster for the most part, and teams
were swapping around, and I think everybody saw that there
was an issue there and that it needed to have

(15:31):
somewhat of a change. And I'm not smart enough to
know what that change would be. They tried to do
it with this system. I don't think it worked the
way they wanted it to work, because it did leave
a lot of like some of the like whatever you
want to think about the last system, there was some
pop off crazy Twitter moments with some of these roster
swaps and stuff like that. I'm thinking right after LA

(15:52):
the Falcons move right like that. That was huge. I
was crazy, it was shit. It shook everything up. So
it's like you miss out some of those because teams
are having to rely on these champs points for those situations,
and that's where you get like a crutch, like like
sir say with his ability to have so many points
being able to be like so sought after for for

(16:12):
some of these teams and rosters.

Speaker 7 (16:14):
Well, I feel like we still got that if you
consider the Falcon situation that now happened. The biggest problem
with that format before was that like people just like
snaking their teams, like the captain would just get the
sub to side with them and drop two of his
players and pick up two new players. Like that was
the big problem there, and yet they tried something to
fix it. I don't know what they saw this being
the solution though a part of it, and like, yeah,

(16:35):
I'm gonna I'm maybe being a little bit harsher with
my criticism right now, but because it's caused a new
thing where it's like we went from after Land everyone
gets dropped and we make all these roster changes to
like they're having to make them mid fucking pro league.

Speaker 6 (16:46):
Yeah uh, and on.

Speaker 7 (16:47):
Top of them making a like I think teams are
harder to follow than ever before, and they were already
harder in the past. I have no idea who the
hell is where anymore sometimes until like start diving into it,
and then uh yeah, and I think you caused just
like a completely different issue of like how teams are swapping,
because now you're swapping to make sure you qualify for
Champs rather than just trying to ride it up with

(17:08):
your team and qualify.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
So like, yeah, it also kind of makes some of
these pro leagues, like we've talked about, just not interesting,
and I think viewership can reflect that a little bit.
I mean, like there's a lot of different reasons why,
at least on Pro League days, I feel like it's
been down then typically.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Where it was at before.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
But you know, people have to know at this point,
it's like, all right, well we already kind of know.
The only thing that changes it is these mid mid
season roster swaps and it just kind of takes away
from everything. So we're just in a weird spot right now.
But luckily we're getting down to Champs. Everything could change
going into year six and we can make some adjustments,

(17:49):
make some changes.

Speaker 1 (17:50):
So I hope hopefully that happens.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
But let's move on into the next roster swap here,
which he alluded to a little bit earlier. Sir Say,
who was at the number one team in the Pro
League currently with KCP, he joins Crook an enemy in
the hole that alber Lelly had left in that roster,
so Sirs he will be joining over there now. The
one thing you can say about Sirse is there was
a lot of fun being poked at him kind of

(18:15):
his his rosters and where he was bouncing around. But
he was playing really really well with KCP, like really
really well, and I believe he was igelling. So he's
going to fill back into that spot with Crook and
Enemy Donnie'll throw it down to you first this time.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
How do you see this fitting? I know that we
haven't seen Sirs in.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
I don't know if he's going to be I jaelling
because I feel like Krook was kind of like doing
it sometimes and Al would kind of fill in sometimes
as well. Have you heard anything about who's going to
actually be illing here? And how do you think this
roster plays out?

Speaker 5 (18:48):
Yeah, if I had a guess, I haven't seen one
of their streams yet, bad I guess I think Krook
would still mainly IGL, especially because I know Krook is
a very solid crypto player, so that will help him
kind of just maintain that role. You know, maybe Sir
s has some sort of you know, input into certain things,
but I think we'll see him in a lot more
of just kind of like that fragging role more often

(19:11):
than not with an enemy kind of being their refrag.
But I'll be honest, man, like it's just to think
of like where he's like come from to where he
is now. I really don't know what to expect with
this roster. Obviously. I think you know, all three players
individually have you know, things that they're very good at.
You know, a lot of things that they can bring

(19:31):
to a team. It's just with this these three particular players,
like you're almost just like, is this gonna be like
an ROC situation where like you just get kind of
three guys that just randomly kind of been all over
the place the last year or two and then just
all of a sudden pop off, or it's gonna be
like there's just way too much like mixing and matching here.
I just really don't know what to expect. You know,

(19:54):
it's gonna be a roster we definitely have to keep
an eye on because obviously, you know, we will see
them a champs just based on the points like we
talked about. But at the very least, you know, they've
got a ton of experience with crooking enemy obviously Sirs
and his own rights also played very well recently, so
there's something that could be there. I just I don't
even really know what to expect for that to look like,

(20:16):
just because I feel like Alba and sars Outs are
just very different players. So what this is going to
look like. Only time is going to tell.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Yeah, I wonder how that changes jump, but going into
the way that they played the game, because at least
with KCP, they were just throwing their bodies at everything.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
They were hyper aggressive, and I.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Don't know if this Stallion's roster is necessarily going to
be that and and I don't know if they're going
to play into that same style. I think they have
the personnel to do so, but do you think they
kind of like hold back a little bit more with
crook iglling.

Speaker 7 (20:53):
Maybe with Sirs they can lean into it a little
bit more. With some more firepower, you stop four and
kills in this pro league currently with like six games
in hand, uh, because yeah, like Guild his forty one,
he's got thirty nine and he's only played eighteen games
killed to play.

Speaker 6 (21:08):
Twenty four, So they they he'll provide more firepower than
E or than Ty than E.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
You just took a shot at E.

Speaker 6 (21:18):
Shot at my bad dog, My bad, my bad.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
Uh. I don't know where we go from here.

Speaker 6 (21:26):
Yeah, I just keep talk and.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
That's where Brown.

Speaker 7 (21:28):
Yeah, I think he'll just like provide more firepower than a'l. Honestly,
I'll just go and say it, especially because of Roller.
I know it's p gay meta, but like still these
top PK players in the game un Roller like.

Speaker 6 (21:39):
They can do it.

Speaker 7 (21:40):
So yeah, like I I think that that they'll be
able to play into that a little bit more. The
other thing we were talking I was gonna say is
though I remember when me and E were playing with
Jay Dot and he was talking about like he was
just like really hyping up sursay in general around like
I yelling like gameplay like everything like that. So I
think he's kind of underrated because he has bound around
between Actually he didn't even play with Madden this very long.

(22:05):
He did really good with UH with the boys over
at nine Lies, even though they weren't vibing at the open.
So like now, like with another team that's got like
some more experienced players, maybe he continues.

Speaker 6 (22:15):
To farm like they were first in with KCP.

Speaker 7 (22:17):
So I don't I don't see them like really dipping
at all that much, in my opinion, at least they.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
Want to say too real quick so everyone's not confused.
Stallions is Albarelli's team. Now they took that name over, so.

Speaker 6 (22:32):
Exterminators.

Speaker 5 (22:33):
Maybe they're not exterminators anymore unfortunately. Uh and then what
was gonna be CS is now signed to f y
R Strays. So when casey guys are like very confused
come match day, of those are like the names to
go buy for those two rosters. Sometimes I could not

(22:54):
even tell you what the hell that's from. Yah, shout
out to them for sign an APEX team because we're
als short and orgs right now out. But like I
saw that name, I was just like, I mean sick,
but like, who are you?

Speaker 2 (23:04):
I Sometimes people creating an org they close their eyes,
they pick three letters out of the alphabet.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
They're like, that's our.

Speaker 6 (23:11):
Why you would have the worst ORG name if you.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Made one, Yeah, I'd make it like awful, make it
like QKW or some shit, like just three awful letters,
just all of them not vibing with one another. That'd
be my ORG name, that's.

Speaker 7 (23:25):
But have you have you gamed with Circe like because
I remember like a bit back, like you were telling
us about Sirce before he even like when he just
first won the preseason qualifiers with Vain and not correct
Vain and mcloven. So like, what's your take on Sirsa
and like how he fits and everything like that.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
Yeah, I think it's a good player. Uh.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
This is his first time being to Idrel and so
it's pretty impressive to see how well he's been able
to do in such a short time. Like I mean
he literally first time I Jaeling with KCP and they've
just been popping off. And so I think it's going
to be a really good fit. I mean in terms
of like Gunny, he definitely has it. And so with

(24:09):
incorporating Hydraeling, he's really becoming a fairly complete player. And
I know that he had I'll describe it as like
personal uh areas where he needed to improve and relation
towards how things went UH with KCP and his ability
to handle certain situations and so I mean, and that's

(24:29):
just something that you get as you get older and
have more situations to practice handling them better in And
so I definitely think that sirs is somebody who we're
going to be seeing Uh perform at a high level
for a fairly long time. I mean he's super young kid,
so there's a lot of upside for sure.

Speaker 6 (24:49):
Got a lot of young kids in the ALGs right now.

Speaker 7 (24:54):
Panic like it's like the new it's the new era,
the you know the former effects sign.

Speaker 6 (25:00):
He was koy fuls coming up.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Yeah, No, it's fun, it's a it's a good time.
So we're gonna see what happens with that roster moving forward.
That one's gonna be probably when you're gonna want to
keep an eye on, just to see what happens there.
And then lastly, friend of the program kim Chie heads
to Apax South. He'll be joining Pricey and Player K
and forming that new al Kadzia trio. So he is

(25:23):
going all the way to Australia. I saw Genome had
tweeted him and said where are you staying at? H
are you staying in Sydney? What's going on? He said,
I'm staying in the outback. So he'll be he'll be
gamed up. He'll be gamed up round so much back.
Steakhoast right could have been out blooming on.

Speaker 5 (25:40):
He was talking about a VPN so it could just
be an outpack steakhouse could be that.

Speaker 7 (25:45):
The funny thing is when I saw the VPN tweet
and like I looked into it, I think a lot
of people were like believing him that he actually was
gonna try using a VPN, and I was like, that
was I'm.

Speaker 6 (25:57):
Pretty sure a bit the entire time to Australia.

Speaker 2 (26:01):
From what you found, it's just weird because Kimchi has
been one of the premiere like I like to mess
around guys in the teams with Monsoon forever. They've had
like multiple skits together where they just kind of fool around,
like that's just that's his vite.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
Yeah, that's how he is. Yeah, so for sure.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
But yeah, so he moves over into the al Kadzia roster,
which means that there's a very specific player who had
to either step down, be kicked whatever it may be down.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
I'll throw it over to you. What is going on
in Apac South what we like to call the region
of fun.

Speaker 5 (26:37):
Uh Yeah, So obviously that was a pretty big move
for one of the big names. From everything I heard,
they just had a pretty big argument and blowout kind
of in their last match day that ultimately just kind
of was unable to be resolved, and I think they
had mentioned it even in some tweets.

Speaker 7 (26:56):
You know that.

Speaker 5 (26:56):
Sometimes you just kind of, you know, hit your hit
your end with a certain group and kind of need
to change things up, whether that's for vibes or play
Styler or whatever. So yeah, they bring in kim Chi
from hearing about you know, just their you know, people
who they talk with at lands and different stuff when
they come across you know, different people. They definitely seem
to be close friends. So at least in terms of

(27:17):
that fit, it seems to make sense how it will
play out. You know, time will tell. I know kim
Chieblei was listed as the fragger with Price the igling,
so that you know, dynamic will be something to keep
an eye on. But you definitely know those three will
bring it. You know that. Again, they're all very experienced players,
multiple lands between them. So in terms of how that

(27:40):
roster will look, I think, you know, again there's some potential.
It's just obviously weird to not see straighting flame on
that roster. And for those who don't know, he did
end up joining another team in Apax Styth. It's like
Kakoi I believe is the name. I don't think they'll
have enough chance points to qualify them forationally just based

(28:01):
on that, unless they you know, they win or get
like top two or something like that, So that would
be something, you know, it's kind of like its own
storyline on the side that will keep an eye on
just because of how see how much you know straight
and FLM is done in competitive Apex. But at least
for the roster of Alcacia, again, it's gonna be you know,
can Kimchi kind of acclimate to that play style over there,

(28:22):
because again it's it's definitely a lot more aggressive, a
lot more in your face, you know, different kind of
comps being played at certain times, So that adjustment will
definitely be key for the roster to see if they
can be successful. But again it's just another like you said,
it's a region of fun, it's a region of you
just never know what's gonna happen. Even a side note
for that region, apparently there's a lot of really bad

(28:43):
weather coming into Asia, so there's talks of possibly delaying
that because it's like hurricanes and things like that, So
we'll have to keep an eye on, you know, do
we see these story onlines play out this weekend or not,
but once we do see them play, you know whatever,
and that whenever that is, it's gonna be. It's just
gonna be a lot of fun because there's so many
storylines that come out of that region.

Speaker 7 (29:03):
I mean, looking at us for here, Kakoy's and thirty third,
so and that's pretty much just straighting flames points. Yeah,
I mean, like yeah, if they managed to like actually
finish high.

Speaker 6 (29:13):
Enough, they would need.

Speaker 7 (29:16):
They would need something like top seven, top six, and
they can maybe get into Champs if they could do.
It's a similar situation to what's going on with Alb
and them, which is why they also can't just get
top eight because now you've got a bunch of these
teams on the bubble right, Like Stallions are thirty fourth
with one hundred less points than Kakoi. So interesting, I'm yeah,

(29:39):
that's we have to watch who's gonna get that top
seven seventh spot?

Speaker 5 (29:46):
Yeah, I mean, it's really just a great way to
like react to it though, because like who would have thought,
like we would see, like, oh, kim Chi's just leaving
the country and going to play in Australia, Like that's
just what this stuff has done this split. It's just
you get so many of these different storylines with you know,
people switching teams out of nowhere, and yeah, it's just
I mean, I remember when we saw Straight and Flames
leaving the roster, It's like who you know is possible

(30:08):
to replace them? But then you see kim Chi leave
the roster of the thuggets is like, is it really
gonna be kim Chi? That's just to be moving to
Australia to play like it's just Apex Man, a weird sort.

Speaker 6 (30:21):
A guy like Kimchi.

Speaker 7 (30:22):
I guess like he wasn't going to go to Land
and just wanted to find a way however to get there,
and that meant moving to Australia for half a year.

Speaker 6 (30:30):
Then I guess he does.

Speaker 7 (30:31):
He also don't even have to go for half a year,
have to go for like a couple of weeks and
then he could come back.

Speaker 6 (30:35):
I think it's a long time until till he's got time.

Speaker 1 (30:40):
It's basically a vacation, uh uh, which I wonder if.

Speaker 6 (30:47):
He has to get like a lease or something like
how or like how does he like I wonder how
that works.

Speaker 3 (30:51):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (30:51):
I don't know any side of that thing, like do
you have to provide a legal address so like you
can't just stay in Airbnb or something like.

Speaker 5 (30:58):
I mean he might just pick up a pick potent
and just go sit the out back for a couple
of weeks, So.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Maybe it's serious.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
Yeah, yeah, we'll have to find that out. We could
probably find that.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
Out, which would be a really fun stream to tune
into mid mid pro league.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
That'd be interesting.

Speaker 7 (31:15):
We have to like, if we were to DM him,
do we have to send our letters upside down now
though work? No?

Speaker 2 (31:20):
I don't think so. No, I see where you'd get
confused in that. But yeah, just just just making sure, Donnie.
I haven't been paying too much attention to the scrims
and everything like that, but I did mention this year
earlier for Enoch and ranked have you been seeing that
get picked up a lot more in some of these
scrims while we get ready for this these next double

(31:42):
block of pro league.

Speaker 5 (31:45):
Yeah, so teams are trying it out early on again,
usually how those things go, you know, I see how
busts of these characters are. There's been a lot of
discourse on how just not worth the whole floating thing
is souls, and when I say that, literally everyone just
thinks it's dog shit, So it's uh, they got it off,

(32:09):
like yeah, it's it's something else. I'm sure they'll have
to look into for a future patch, but at least
right now, it's still very much you know, Newcastle caustic
and alter, you know, or some variation of that to
start off with. You know, we're still seeing like the
cost of going game one altered game two or three

(32:29):
typically right now. You know, we've got some cryptos newcastles
getting banned a little bit earlier, more consistently now, so
that'll be something we definitely keep an eye on. But
we definitely see like the Seers and the Maggie has
definitely come out like later on, so they'll definitely still
be in play. I think at some point, especially if
like a crypto gets like a random band in the
America's I think the region will be most interesting to

(32:52):
see is like Apac North, where crypto typically gets banned
early early, so that might be a region to keep
an eye on for. If Creed get played. They were
big fans of Sparrow, so.

Speaker 6 (33:03):
Say what been like like like did changes?

Speaker 5 (33:07):
I definitely have not seen him played nearly as much
a character that has had a little bit of an uptick.
Actually it has been. I've seen some fuses busted out lately.
I saw both n Ip and Falcons running the fuse
at one point and going pretty crazy with it. Rampart
is still a very high pick rate right now, which
I just am begging to not see Newcastle Rampart as

(33:30):
a meta going to Champs, for the love of God,
going to get something else. I'm just not going to
get into it. That's gonna be another thirty minute podcast
on its own. But anyway, Uh yeah, So that's definitely
a lot of the things we're seeing again, We're still
seeing a lot of cost of Game one band Altered
Game two again. It's just really kind of what you
like kind of moving forward, is you know what somebody

(33:54):
these teams are working with, like Falcons even today, Like
they try to run a I think it was like
Altered Newcastle and like Rampart or something like that, or
like Watson for their second game and it went horribly
wrong and they basically just did not touch all to
the rest of the day. Like they basically had the
Wraith out most of the time when she was available,
so I think that'll be a storyline that I'm gonna

(34:15):
be watching with falcons this weekend, is do they just
completely not use altar and in place of you know,
use the Wraith in place of that, because How is
not happy with the altar Garen, I can tell you
that that was probably the closest I've seen how to
like absolutely just like quitting a s grin block for

(34:36):
he was on the altar. Yeah, so it is Waltzy
on Newcastle and uh and Guild on either like the
Cosstic game one or the Watson game too.

Speaker 7 (34:44):
So I will say Zero's altar was pretty crazy fucking Yeah,
that's a that's tough alter to replace, right there, Hal
can if you I'm not picking.

Speaker 4 (34:56):
The aspect of the m n K altar alone, ye
sag on that it's just disgusting, like like an m
NK player who consistently plays Alter, Like no hate to
Hal at all, but like an m n K alter
like who's slippery and like Zero is definitely slippery, Like
it can be different.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
Yeah, yeah, I just uh, because you brought up Hal,
I just went to his uh, his Twitter, and I
just scrolled through the tweets. I'm gonna go back to
uh six days ago. Uh, so far four and zero
against the other dog. Should I jil next day five
and one against he who shall not be named? Next
day seven and one against Yeah, eight and one, nine

(35:38):
and one against my nemesis?

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Will he realize he's the problem? That was? That was
seven hours ago? So it we're just continued.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
Wait then, have you seen zeros?

Speaker 2 (35:45):
No?

Speaker 1 (35:46):
I have?

Speaker 6 (35:46):
Have you see Zero's going live?

Speaker 7 (35:47):
Tweet was a picture of a DM from how that
said hey, look at you, and then Hal sent them
a picture of a cock road.

Speaker 5 (35:55):
Yeah, and dude, it was crazy today because Falcons, like
I said, they did pretty bad today minus like the
last game of the second block and literally after the
first block, well even during the first block. Uh zero
killed Hal while Hal was running away as a solo
because the other two had died. I shit you not.

(36:16):
If I had to stop watch out, it would have
been over two minutes. He was shooting his box, Maggie
cueing his box like throwing Naids on it, like Sykes
and Funk are like calming to other stuff that's going on,
and it just keeps going back to Zero still on
his box, Tea bagging it and shooting it.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
It was each other so much.

Speaker 5 (36:35):
Yeah, I mean it's just like you can just tell
that they miss each other. There's so much.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Yeah, don't make it back one day, don't make it.

Speaker 5 (36:46):
I don't think so. No, I don't know. There's the
but uh but even after the first block ended, zz
was not playing the second block, and literally he just
goes to like, uh winning, and I think Sykes were
still in the call They're like, do you guys just
want to like watch the second block and just hate
watch Falcons the whole time, like they're not even trying
to hide it, which is like the funniest part. And

(37:06):
what was funnier too, is even when he was getting
in on it, she was like, oh yeah, let's do it,
like she was all about it. So there's plenty of
plenty of fun stuff going around. In terms of content, it's.

Speaker 7 (37:17):
Pretty Crazyke's had a tweet that was just listing out
how many fights they've lost her like the feltas have
lost them or something like that. I didn't even know
what the numbers are, right because it was like twenty
eight to three.

Speaker 6 (37:27):
I was, yeah, they're getting to that many fights in.

Speaker 7 (37:29):
These scripts, like it's crazy, but like, yeah, some shit
like that Hal's been averaging. I think I could be wrong,
but like every time I go see how he's got
like nine gay viewers, which.

Speaker 6 (37:38):
For Scrims, I think is like his viewership.

Speaker 7 (37:41):
Yeah, ever, that's what this is like breathed back into
the scene. I feel a little little bit like the
son of a divorced couple because I like both those
guys way too much, and I don't I can't even decide.

Speaker 5 (37:53):
It's just just Champs wasn't three months away due because
like what imagine Champs was like two weeks from now. Yeah,
like all this is still fresh, like okay, and I'll
say this too, I fully still think this is gonna
be drawn out for three months. There's no way either
of these guys are gonna drop it. Just imagine it
was two weeks from now when Crystal fresh.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
I don't know, change would have happened if there was
only two weeks, though, I don't know. I feel like
one of the reasons that this change happened is because
there's just so much time between now and Base.

Speaker 7 (38:28):
I think it would have happened if I think that
they would have if they could have, I think they
would have stuck together to like win Pro League or
something like that in the old system and then just
break up after Pro League and then like go as
long as they had guarantee champ spots, they would have
just broke up after Pro League.

Speaker 5 (38:45):
I'm gonna live in the world where this is gonna
happen no matter what, even if it was two weeks
from now or whatever. Probably not what's actually gonna happen,
but like, yeah, that would be interesting. Is that if
this was only like two or three weeks away, like
what have no I think even.

Speaker 7 (38:58):
If there was two months until, I think they break up,
Like it sounded like they were not happy together.

Speaker 5 (39:03):
Yeah, and I mean, especially given the fallout, it's like,
clearly there are some things I needed that The way.

Speaker 7 (39:09):
They would have stuck together is if they won the
midsias and playoffs. The only way I think they would
have stuck together, which is now. I'm saying that because
if you ask me, MISDISI and playoffs. I heard the
rumors with them breaking up, and I was like, they're
not fucking breaking up.

Speaker 6 (39:21):
These people are crazy.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
Yeah, it's it's fantastic stuff. Though.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
If you're the if you're if you're ALGs, you I
need to see some of that good, good content when
we get to Champs. I need to see some of
that good video content with them two in it. And like,
as much as they're they're fucking around, I do think
there's a little bit of it where they know they're
just it could be all of it. They're just jesting,

(39:48):
like they're just having a good time and they're just
poking fun at it. The content that they could make
for for Champs would be legendary.

Speaker 6 (39:56):
If they buy into it, which I.

Speaker 5 (39:58):
Think they w eat stuff and they at least like
somewhat respected each other. If these guys truly don't like
each other right now, like, imagine them getting stuck and
if they get together and try to make to work
that out.

Speaker 7 (40:10):
I've also interviewed Hal for Land stuff, and that man
says whatever's on his mind. Yeah yeah, yeah, like he
won't he'll be professional with stuff.

Speaker 1 (40:18):
Yeah, but he'll just say, like what.

Speaker 7 (40:19):
You later, what do you believe he came honestly zero,
Actually all of them will, like I've like, I'm pretty
sure we said it on the podcast last time we
had Waltz where I tried to get him to like
say something's like I won't say something I don't believe in,
which is good, I respect, but the thing I wanted
him to say I thought he believed in.

Speaker 6 (40:33):
So I was like, that's crazy. Okay, like let's work
on this. What do you want to say?

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Then Walt Yeah, well literally remember last time we had
Waltzy on, He's like, yeah, I don't really want to
shit talk anybody, but then pulls out the list.

Speaker 1 (40:44):
It just starts naming them off. And then the last
time how on the show, he was.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
Just like, we're like, uh, heart to heart or sorry
Enoch's last question like what have you learned? He's like
I need to be an igl again, Like just whoa
right off rip? They're like holy shit, so oh yeah.
They they will just say whatever they feel and they'll
get it out there for everybody, and it's good content
and it's a great time. It's a great time to watch.

(41:09):
So I'm I'm super excited for Champs. It's gonna be
a great time. In the meantime, I would like to
extend the invite to zero and how that if they
would like to keep this rivalry going before we get
to Champs. There is a league it's called d MR
Deathmatch Rivals. I will give how Brian very good player,

(41:32):
very good player. We'll figure out a teammate for Zero
and then we can see how they how they play that,
so it should be fun deathmatch to twenty first.

Speaker 7 (41:42):
I'm just trying to think how and Brian and like
Zero and uh.

Speaker 8 (41:47):
Troy Troy, Yeah, Troy, Zero and Richie could be a
good chunk that would it could be a good time,
could be a good time.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
Okay, well, boys, that's just about do it for all
the the action this week. We're gonna take a quick
break and then on the other side, we're gonna continue
the show and get you guys on the rest of
your week. Let's get it all right, ladies and gents,
Let's round it out with the quick little H two
H Heart to Heart.

Speaker 1 (42:22):
Boys and girls, let's throw it on down to the
infamous jump bag. He's over there, chumba jump bag. W
how's the heart to heart? How's how's the heart feeling?

Speaker 6 (42:33):
Heart's feeling, Heart's feeling good.

Speaker 7 (42:36):
It's been busy week working on this master's video. It
is devolved into the biggest project I have worked on.
I thought the script take me like one or two
days to write. I'm still writing it now. The video
is being worked on. The video is like in progress,
but like that's how big this has become.

Speaker 6 (42:54):
Where I'm literally.

Speaker 7 (42:55):
Writing the video as I have an editor working on
producing the video. I've had have a whole team. I
got an animator working on some shit. I had a
guy helped me out with like thumbnail stuff. Plus you know,
the boys in the discord are always there that I'm
like throwing shit at them and like literally being like
giving all your feedback. It has been a project, a process.
It's a team effort this time, and I'm loving all
of it. But I'm also extremely tired. I am like

(43:17):
night to day working NonStop because we're due in like
five days. But I hope it's gonna be a banker.
I'm really excited for it. If it fops, I'll be
really sad.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
But I'm also watching you could just say yeah.

Speaker 7 (43:32):
Probably probably probably could just say, like, you know what,
that's probably the problem, heavy knock if you're trip No.
I'm super excited, though, and I'm super thankful for the
team I got right now helping me because they're grinding
around clock. Like literally it's twelve thirteen right now, and
my editor just sent me the draft for day five
of seven. So you know, everyone's working late, everyone's working
round clock to get this done and because we want

(43:54):
to see like a cool product. And I'm also just
super thankful that I can be in the position to
like hire a team to work on a video that's
fucking crazy.

Speaker 6 (44:00):
Well, yeah that's cool. So that's my heart's heart. It's awesome.
Yeah I get to do.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
This, Dawn.

Speaker 5 (44:07):
Uh Honestly, I don't got much just besides, I mean,
another small cool thing that happened was Greek I guess
followed me on Twitter Slack broke out to him for that,
but uh no, I mean just made me think about
again just where you know, I was year four la Land,
knowing literally zero people and you know, doing everything we've

(44:29):
been doing with the podcast and you know, GMB and
all that stuff. Just how much Apex has brought to
my life. So you know, just another kind of step
in the little small step in the journey and all that.
But yeah, maybe just the other thing is just I'm
just tired too, just because again we grind d MR
Monday nights, then we're core Tuesday nights, and then we're
here Wednesday nights, and yeah, I know why. It obviously

(44:52):
does the where that I do when it comes to that,
but it's it's a journey, but it's always seems to
be a good one.

Speaker 2 (44:58):
I honestly kind of enjoy though, because like it makes
my work week go buy so much faster, because I
basically wake up Monday morning and then close my eyes,
go to sleep and wake up and it's Friday already.

Speaker 1 (45:10):
Like nice because.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
The second I the second Monday starts. Bro, I'm just
working basically till the end because Monday, Uh do DMR, Tuesday,
record GMB, Wednesday, record this show, sometimes Thursday, record this
show Thursday night, edit all of it Friday morning, get
it all out, and.

Speaker 1 (45:28):
Then I just throw in the yeah. And actually i'm
texting right.

Speaker 6 (45:32):
Now, I'm probably yeah.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
Well I'm texting with Jay to try to do Pacapod tomorrow,
so we'll see how that goes. We'll see how that goes.
That might be another one, but uh, we're doing it.

Speaker 6 (45:43):
If I'm done. If done doesn't much, maybe I could help.

Speaker 1 (45:46):
Maybe maybe maybe you want to do yours. Sure.

Speaker 2 (45:56):
By the way I was I was told that I
would get to see the uh the infamous toothbrush at
some point.

Speaker 3 (46:04):
Oh, that's true. You want to do that after Potter.

Speaker 1 (46:06):
I want to see it after Pod.

Speaker 2 (46:07):
Me and Enoch had one of the weirdest Twitter uh
we had one of the.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
Weirdest Twitter interactions of all time.

Speaker 7 (46:16):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (46:17):
I thought he just ripped a branch off of a
tree and said, I'm brushing my teeth this Now I
didn't understand, so I said something and then he described
why he was doing it, and then it turned into
a tweet where he got two point two million impressions
and I got like two hundred thousand, and uh, I
had to mute it.

Speaker 7 (46:37):
I argued it, dude, why if only you I don't
know if you have Twitter blue there, but well, like
you need to qualify like I have it because like
just for like the industry like it. I feel like
it's necessary, so I have it, But like I have
not averaged enough impressions per month to start making money

(46:57):
off it, you know, like five million a month or
something like that for three months.

Speaker 2 (47:00):
The thing is, I've responded to two Enoch tweets over
the course of the time that I've known him, and
I've had that happen twice where I just have some
By the way, since this podcast has popped off.

Speaker 1 (47:11):
Enokis had like four like.

Speaker 6 (47:14):
Banger tweets, viral tweets.

Speaker 1 (47:16):
Like mega viral, absolutely insane.

Speaker 2 (47:19):
I need to see that truthbrush, but at some point
I I would like to see it.

Speaker 1 (47:24):
Anything else you got for heart.

Speaker 4 (47:25):
To heart, I'm you know, I'm not gonna lie. I
had a pretty just dude. Sometimes apex is just not fun. Yeah,
It's just it's just not fun. And then sometimes it's
really not fun when you're just really are just not
having a good time. But you know that, like hell, hey,

(47:50):
everybody like you you can't go Like I'm sure I
could take the day off work, but I gotta I have.

Speaker 3 (47:55):
It's a blessing and a curse. I have a one
hundred and.

Speaker 4 (47:59):
Four sub goal Pete streak going on my stream right now. Yeah, which, yeah,
we got it to the today last second, twenty bombs.

Speaker 3 (48:10):
Saved the day. Oh shit, dude.

Speaker 4 (48:13):
But so like, dude, hi key, I mean this genuinely
when I say this like blessing and a curse because
obviously I'm not going to complain about the fact that
I'm one hundred and four days in a row of
hitting a sub goal, right Like that's amazing.

Speaker 3 (48:25):
That's a blessing.

Speaker 4 (48:27):
But man, when that's the case and you know that,
you just can't, Like, if I'm having a miserable first
three hours, I just gotta suck that ship up and
I just gotta keep going and putting in like the
ten hour day because or like if if I hit
it earlier, there's are definitely deserb all.

Speaker 3 (48:47):
Right, guys, I'm gone.

Speaker 4 (48:49):
It's been like I appreciate y'all, but I need I
need some time. But just like knowing, like, Okay, gotta
lock it in, gotta get it done. I'm miserable. Nobody
wants to watch me be miserable. Let me stop being miserable.
But then just some days you just get kicked in
the nuts on repeat, and you just gotta keep pushing

(49:13):
and you just gotta you gotta work through it.

Speaker 3 (49:15):
You gotta somehow find a way not to be miserable.
And like I'm fully aware they're like.

Speaker 4 (49:20):
My bad days are very nice in comparison to other
people's bad days. It's like my bad days is I
get bullshitted in a video game and then I get
a little bit upset about it, But you know, you
get bullshitted so many times you're just like what the fa.

Speaker 6 (49:36):
And you're just it's just really not time.

Speaker 7 (49:40):
Yeah, Like like it's it's tough to like think about,
like the comparison I'm playing a video game.

Speaker 6 (49:44):
People are gonna be like, why am I complaining?

Speaker 7 (49:45):
But the small taste if I had playing with you,
it was those days where like we were like so bad.
I'm like I kind of want to just like stop
right now. I'm like, but I've committed to being live
all day. So if I stop right now, like what
the fuck am I gonna do for the next six hours?
And then on top of that, like I've committed to
like being here with E to game for like said
amount of hours, so I'm kind of like screwing him
where now he's to finally a third So it's just

(50:06):
like it's like you just you're like I just gotta
go next. I just gotta do this again, and like
but you're miserable, You're pissed. And then like yeah, when
you're streaming too, it's like you know you realize, like, oh,
there's people watching me who are hanging out here who
want to have like a good time, and instead I'm.

Speaker 6 (50:20):
Just miserable, just like this on my phone because I'm pissed.

Speaker 7 (50:22):
Because I don't want to fucking say anything because if
I say something, I might fucking lose it, because you know,
I've just got fucking two pump pe kate for the
last four hours straight and I'm sitting in ten minute
fucking pred cues and I can't play the game. I'm
not even playing the game. I was already writing about
this day. You don't especially the morning cues e. Those
are the worst, because like you're literally no one's on.

Speaker 6 (50:41):
And then you just die, you die off, right, and you.

Speaker 7 (50:44):
Sit there for fifteen twenty minutes and you just like
like there's a clippic meal this actually just like there's
a clip of me going, oh, institute great. I don't
get I go, I go institute Great. I don't have
to sit here for twenty minutes and be fucking miserable
and like we just get back in and then you.

Speaker 3 (51:00):
Die off for it again.

Speaker 5 (51:03):
When I really learned and I admitted this man is
to his stream, I was watching today and like shit
was just not going great. Like I could tell like
it was just not a good time for this man.
He was like, you know what, like either way we're
going to hit our ten hours. We're going to get
the work done. I look down, it is six hours.
I'm like, this man is gonna sit here for four

(51:24):
more fucking hours. Hey, this goddamn game. I would have
said that this is.

Speaker 3 (51:28):
More quiet than I would have said.

Speaker 5 (51:30):
I would have said that at the six hour mark.
My ass would have quit stream at six hours and
two minutes, knowing my dumb ass. So like when I
saw that that man was going to commit to ten hours,
that I turned back in he was at the ten
hour mark. I was like, you know, he he's built.

Speaker 7 (51:46):
I always know I pop in the stream and just go, ah,
cameras off, that's.

Speaker 4 (51:50):
Not that is so true.

Speaker 7 (51:56):
This guy always liked to just pop in and alerk
and see how the days going off, like ship, Like
he doesn't even have the tracker on screen.

Speaker 6 (52:04):
I can't.

Speaker 3 (52:05):
I turned my tracker off the split. But yeah, no.

Speaker 4 (52:14):
So you know, I'm very grateful though, like I have
the challenges that I have, and I have the opportunity
to work through the bad days that I get to
work through, and that that like my bad days, right,
it's just like it just shouldn't matter at the end
of the day. But like you know, I'm not there yet.
I'll get there though, definitely not there yet. And you

(52:37):
know that's one bad, one bad day down and my
slang shot is taught to let me tell you, and
and I'm gonna I got a little bit of that
spring forward because like I hit the ten hour mark,
like we still, we're we're far. I think at the
ten hour mark, I think I was at ten subs

(52:58):
on the day and the goals forty and so I like,
if you guys haven't found one, I'll play another, play another,
die fairly quickly. And I'm like, all right, we're just
gonna hang out here, hang out here long enough. We're
just sitting there talking and then boom, just twenty bomb drops,
sub goal lives on and you know, the the kicking

(53:19):
the nuts that I received mentally over the period of
today and like the absolute just misery that I went through.

Speaker 9 (53:25):
You know, we kept the we go for one oh
five tomorrow. You know, that's all that's all that matters.
That's all that matters. I'll run it out with mine.

Speaker 1 (53:39):
It's over. It's not hold on.

Speaker 6 (53:46):
The Broncos.

Speaker 2 (53:47):
Yeah, I'm talking about the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 5 (53:50):
It's over. That is over.

Speaker 2 (53:53):
Phenix is not the guy, and uh, you know, I
spent all off season excited, but it's time to go
back to the drawing. He's just not it. He can't
set his feet. He overthrew three touchdown passes. We lost
the Chargers.

Speaker 1 (54:09):
I fucking hate the Chargers. It's over, which means that.

Speaker 2 (54:16):
I reach this point every season since we've won the
Super Bowl, which I am. I am blessed to have
that because I just don't know where I'd be if
we lost that Super Bowl and then I had to
go through what I've gone through the last eight or
nine years. I think it's beneficial for me in my
life to not watch football anymore. But I have this

(54:40):
thing where I can't not watch because I just open
up my phone and I just keep scrolling to the
top just to see if anything happens, and then it's like, oh,
we scored a touchdown. Then I turn on the TV immediately.
I gotta find a way to not watch football anymore.
So I think what I'm gonna do instead is supplement
that with preseason hockey. I'll fill it in with that

(55:04):
instead hockey. Uh, the Avalanche will probably also rip my
heart out this season again.

Speaker 7 (55:12):
Because they did last sign.

Speaker 1 (55:14):
Again, dude, don't do this right now? Because no, because no,
because he.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Showed up to training camp and he said, he said,
don't know where that came from.

Speaker 6 (55:24):
So okay, I didn't see that one.

Speaker 1 (55:27):
No, you did?

Speaker 6 (55:29):
You did? I always I always saw the clips. No,
I swear my life.

Speaker 7 (55:34):
I always saw the cliff or the tweet where like
I sent to you and you're like, it's a fake account.

Speaker 6 (55:38):
I never saw the the other tweet, the follow up.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
I will say this though, Uh, me and Jayhawk friend
of the program last year. One night we were in
Discord super late. It was about four am. And sometimes
me and Jay will get into the zone and Discord
will jit. We'll just keep talking and we'll just stay
up way later than we need to. It was a
night I was I was fast magging my cors Lights

(56:04):
had him taped finish one flip it over do the
other one. I had him fast magg and I was
just drinking beers with the boys. Jay doesn't drink. It
was a one sided affair. We pull up Twitch. We
were looking We were just looking around on Twitch and
we found the NRL, the National Rugby League. They were
playing a game. It just so happened to be the

(56:24):
championship of that league. We watched it and we fell
in love with the Penrith Panthers. The Penrith Panthers won
that game. That was their fourth premiership in a row,
and then we followed the Penrith Panthers all the way
back to the playoffs. This year they were almost not
gonna make the playoffs after winning four straight championships. We

(56:46):
tuned in to watch their first playoff matchup. They scraped
by at the very at the very end of that one,
won that one, and then we just watched them this
weekend with don don got to experience Penrith live.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
Kicked ass. We absolutely kicked ass.

Speaker 2 (57:03):
And now we have an opportunity if we win this
next one, to go to uh the Premiership Championship once again.

Speaker 5 (57:10):
So that's Saturday.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
Isn't that Saturday? So we're gonna be watching that. We're
gona be watching that again. So my heart to heart,
I guess the sports Also, me and Donnie, speaking of sports,
are getting We're back in training camp for Love is Blind.

Speaker 1 (57:23):
New season drops October first.

Speaker 2 (57:25):
We've been watching an old season, just getting just getting
the reps in, just getting the reps in with the
fellas and Jay says he doesn't like the show, and
then he'll he'll chill in there with the boys and
he'll watch he chills in there and he's like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
So October first new season, Love is Blind. I'll get
the Twitter spaces going for that. I'll get the Twitter
spaces going for the for the l ip, but that

(57:48):
is my heart to heart and ladies and gents, that
should just about doing. For this week's episode of the
Apex and Podcast. Thank you guys for tuning in as always,
and we've got a double block of Pro League coming
up this weekend, so that should be a real fun time.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
