Speaker 1 (00:03):
Welcome back to the Arrowhead Survival Podcast where we talk
about guns, freedom and love of God with me, your host,
Curtis Burnham and Jose Can you see there we go.
So today our show is going to be sponsored by
Right to Bear and they are a legal self defense company.
(00:28):
We got Lana here who will give you a little
brief overview of herself and her history with Right to Bear,
how she got there and also what Right to Bear offers.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
Mana well, thank you Curtis, thank you so much, and
thank you to Jose. Thank you both for having me on.
I wanted to just absolutely, I mean, Right to Bear
association is legal defense protection. It's pure peace of mind.
It's for the average everyday citizen that will do whatever
(00:59):
it takes to themselves safe, their family safe. And that's
who we protect.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
And we go.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
One step further and we protect people who serve on
house you know, on houses of worship safety teams. We
cover law enforcement on and off duty. We cover security guards,
armed or unarmed. We protect those who protect others and
that is just a very neat thing of doing it.
I got involved in this space because as an instructor
(01:28):
myself for over thirty five years I was always I
could teach anyone how to get their groupings at half
dollar size, at seven yards. I could teach them, you know,
the laws of where to carry, where not to carry,
give them their their concealed carry permit, taper, take a
sheriff's office, take it back to Department of ad whatever
(01:50):
you need to do to get your permit. But if
I didn't teach my students to what to do after
they've had to use force to stop a threat, then
I didn't do my job as an instructor.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
So so, Lana and so so. So let me ask
you if if my customers, and if all of our customers,
h you know that are that are gun owners, what
what benefit helps them with with having right to bear
as opposed to some of the competitors out there. What
what are the benefits that they offer that the other
(02:21):
competitors don't.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
So the competitors out there, first of all, I'm glad
they're there. They paid the way they started before we did.
They paid the way, and I thank God for them.
I mean, I'm not going to say anything derogatory except
the fact that what we did was take our product
and make it better. We knew what people wanted. We
heard what they were saying, So we have way more
(02:47):
benefits for the price point.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
Fantastic.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
We have other products out Yeah, the other products out there,
you know, they have their own benefits, but then their
price plays so high. Then they have, you know, an
insurance carrier that makes all of the decisions if they're
going to protect that person or not. So you're leaving
it up to the hands of a third party, whereas
(03:13):
we don't do that.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
So you and I last week, we happened to both
be in the same part of California at the same time,
which was very interesting. I didn't even know. I didn't
even know that until I talked to you, and so
that we can have you on the show this week.
And we were literally what one mile away from each.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
Other exactly, Yeah Hills.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
Yeah, So I was. I was moving my brother out
of California, and one of the things I hated the
most was not having my guns on me. And so
I kind of want to ask you a quick question,
being that you were in California, a state were conceilled
carriers is not permitted in most situations, and traveling across
the country, what are what are some of your recommendations
(03:53):
you know as as Yeah, I know you're not in
the attorney so you can't give legal advice, but what
are some of your recommendations when traveling across the entry.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
Pay attention to your situational awareness, know where you're going
and when you owe. When you do go, and you're
a member of Right to Bear, you can absolutely call
and have the attorney from that state tell you the
laws of you know, how you have to carry, if
you can carry, if you have reciprocity, and so on.
(04:22):
But I would just pay attention to your situational awareness
and know how you're going to protect yourself. I mean,
your gun is your last resort. You're guns when you
have no other option, right, But can you stop a
threat by using any other thing you know to protect
yourself and your family? Absolutely no, I would.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
Look into that.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yeah. Now, when when we got involved together, we were
actually working with another instructor in the area. He's actually
moving out of state. But you know, I've been with
with a couple of the other competitors and I learned
real quick why I like right to bear more. So,
we obviously offer right to Bear at our store, and
(05:03):
it's a it's a wonderful place to sign up. And
also one thing I wanted to throw out there is
when you come into our location, just remember Arrowheads and
seven to twenty Capitol Circle northeast. It's a sweet g
or right across from the Federal Women's Prison. Now, we
offer right to bear our at our store location, and
(05:23):
we also offer consilled carry classes. So what is one
of the things that you know, if we are offering
right to bear and the kill sale weapons classes, what's
the benefit of purchasing those together? Or at least if
you're not not going to purchase it, then why should
they carry? And why should they purchase right to bear
and have it with them after purchasing their first that
(05:44):
concealed firearm.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Well, you don't want to buy a eight hundred dollars
firearm and not have and not have any protection for
when you have to go bang with that said gun.
I mean, it's unreal when you see people walking in
buying an eight hundred dollars handgun saying it's for protection,
but yet you use it and now you're holding all
(06:10):
every bit of that you're you know, what do they
always say out of every single round it is an
attorney attached so you have to have an attorney.
Speaker 3 (06:21):
When you go boom boom. I mean, it's just, it
is what it is.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Even if you have to hit somebody or you know,
you're trying to stop the threat, because that's what we
have to do, you're going to be put into the
legal system. It's it's inevitable.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Now. Now that's interesting because right after I'm pretty sure
I told you this the situation, but right after I
signed on with Right to Bear as a as a
what do we call me? I'm a facility. Yeah, I'm
a facility.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Your facility partner.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Huh, I'm a facility partner. So right after I signed
on and I became a member of Right to Bear,
I actually had to use just the term right to bear.
I'm a Right to Bear member. I had to pull
my weapon, unfortunately, but it was because someone was coming
at me with a weapon. As soon as the threat
was gone, I reholstered. Well, when law enforcement showed up,
and we're not going to name which department or anything
(07:14):
like that, but when they showed up, they continued to
ask me questions that were a little bit invasive, and
I could tell that what they were doing was they
were trying to walk me into a situation where I
couldn't get out, and you know, he kept asking me
questions like, you know, did you feel like you were
in danger, in harm or anything like that. But as
soon as I brought up the fact that I was
(07:34):
a right to bear member, he instantly changed his tune
and stopped talking about what I did and what the
what the suspect did. But then it went a little
bit further. This officer, as we were walking back and
everything was all done, he stops it. He's done with
his reports and everything. I told him. I say, if
(07:55):
you need a firearm, come on over and let me
see what I can get you. And this officer tells me,
he says, you know, to be honest, I hate weapons,
and I don't believe that anyone should have weapons except
for police officers. Yeah, okay, so I knew exactly what
was going on there. But did had I ever told
you that story?
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yes? You had?
Speaker 1 (08:17):
Okay, yeah, and uh so I couldn't be more thankful
for it. So, so, Jose, Jose, you you carry, right, Yes, sir,
you carry? What what do you carry? It depends?
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Nine milimeter fury cow.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Okay, So, so and what do you carry.
Speaker 3 (08:34):
Alana, I carry a.
Speaker 1 (08:36):
Nine okay, what what? What? What brand are you carrying
right now? Jose it's oh yeah, forty three acts? You see?
That is that is a fantastic gun. I actually carry
the the Bodyguard two point zero, the Smith and most
body Guard two point oh twelve rounds of fantastic three
eighty goodness? And what are you carrying right now?
Speaker 4 (08:56):
Right now? I got a canck a nine millimeter, so
that the Mitte.
Speaker 1 (09:02):
Or the MC nine or nine okay, so you're carrying
the Consilma version. That is a beautiful gun.
Speaker 4 (09:06):
Like Carrie usually if it's not my glock twenty two?
Speaker 1 (09:10):
Now, Alana, do you do you prefer red dots or
no red dots?
Speaker 2 (09:14):
No red dots?
Speaker 1 (09:15):
You see, I hate red dots. And I took my
wife out actually on Sunday with my brother and she'd
been wanted to try a red dot. She hated it.
She absolutely hated it, which I do too. I've been
teaching her with iron sights. Yeah, I hated the red.
Speaker 2 (09:28):
My granddaughter, My granddaughter is number three in the country
for rifle optics and number two in the country for
iron so yeah, she trains. My granddaughter trains without them.
Speaker 1 (09:41):
So what we're saying here is, don't get in a
shootout with your granddaughter.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
Ah, that's exactly right.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
So she's a better shot than you.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
She is absolutely a better shot than me. I promise
you that. She's fourteen years old and this will be
her fourth year at Nationals.
Speaker 1 (09:58):
Yeah, all right, So we got about two minutes left
for this this segment here, So what is the I mean,
if we're gonna go and throw that in there, is
you know, we're talking about children because my kids, I
tell you, my son is a fantastic shot. So just
real quick, does right to bear cover cover children?
Speaker 2 (10:16):
One thousand percent?
Speaker 1 (10:19):
Awesome? That is perfect? And so if it doesn't cover them,
and you know, things like just just their fire I mean,
obviously they can't use a firearm, So what does it cover.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
Them if they get into a fight, into a fight
in a schoolyard. What if a home intruder breaks into
their house like the twelve year old in Montana where
she was at her grandmother's house and the intruder broke
into the front door to hurt her grandmother and she
was the state champion in Montana. I guess he picked
(10:51):
the wrong house, didn't he.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
Yeah, that's that's not a good one. So we're gonna
go ahead and you know, over our next segment here,
we're gonna go over our Bob o versus of the
day and we're going to talk about how it goes
along with our discussions today with Lana uh and we're
also going to go over a terror attack that happened
what was it in Boulder, Colorado and older Yep, we
want to talk about that and why the gun free
(11:13):
zones are you know, in a sense extremely dangerous and
and also Donnie, can you go to give the website
for Right to Bear?
Speaker 2 (11:26):
It is protect with Bear dot com. Protect with Bear
dot com.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
And can can our customers contact you our listeners contact
you for or what phone numbers can they call it
to get to get signed up? Or should they just
come into my store?
Speaker 2 (11:43):
They need to come into your store otherwise they're going
to be paying a higher rate unless they come into
your store.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Well, there you go, So we thank you and we
look forward speak to you after this commercial.
Speaker 4 (11:54):
Break and welcome back everybody to the Arrowhead Survival Podcast.
I am Jose Can you see this is your host
(12:14):
Curtis Burnham and on the phone, we got Lana.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
And all I can say is thank you for saying
my name right this time. I mean I know that
you've got that whole accent to you. I practiced you
did in the mirror with paper intervals, I hope, so
because I really didn't want to brage you this time. Yeah,
So Ian, what do you got? You know we can't
hear you.
Speaker 5 (12:35):
What do you got?
Speaker 1 (12:35):
Oh? There he is there, he is so Ian. We
we didn't hear much of your voice last time, so
now we have to hear you and your beautiful voice.
Speaker 5 (12:43):
Yeah, that's what everybody wants to hear.
Speaker 1 (12:44):
I know we all want to hear that one. So,
so we were talking about our Bible verse and uh,
I know, I know all of our listeners are are
more interested in our our dark, deep humor. But right
now our dark humor is going to go into or
actually we're to go in to light humor. Right right,
We're going to light humor. We're going to keep it
all nice and happy. So, so what would you say,
(13:07):
Jose should we have a should we put Ian on
the spot?
Speaker 6 (13:11):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (13:11):
Ian, Well, I mean it was Ian that pick this
specific scripture, So yeah, I do believe Ian should really.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
I believe so too. And just a reminder though, I
just want to remind everyone if you want to go
ahead and sign up for Right to Bear, come on
into our our store location seven to twenty Capital Circle,
Northeast Tallahassee, Florida three two three zero one, right across
from the Women's Prison, the Federal Women's Prison. And also
we can give you a great deal on firearms ammunition.
(13:37):
And if you're looking for an even better deal, go
to aarheadsurvival dot com. So ian real quick.
Speaker 5 (13:43):
Before I get to that, I also want to be
doing a shameless plug. If you want to stick around,
make sure you listen to segment four. That's where you
get another really good deal with our word of the day.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
And we talk about our firearm of the week.
Speaker 5 (13:56):
But you have to stick around otherwise you're not going
to get any information on the firearm of the week
and you're not gonna be able to get some crazy discounts.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
But here's the thing. I might throw that word of
the day in another portion of this show, because if
we throw it in segment four and everyone just fast forwards,
then we got a problem here.
Speaker 5 (14:14):
True, but you also have said the word of the
day multiple times without people knowing.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
Yeah, I mean, Lana, do you do you remember hearing
the word of today?
Speaker 2 (14:26):
I did not hear the Word of the day.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
I don't know. I thought I just heard it.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Yeah, I haven't heard it either. But are we going
to talk about box fans at all?
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Well?
Speaker 5 (14:34):
Oh oh yeah, there is so much we have to
get to in this segment.
Speaker 1 (14:38):
Let me true. All right, all right, let's first let
let you in, go in and go over the Bible
versus of the day. But also we have a way
that we can serve our local community by donating box fans.
Right we do so.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
Everybody who is listening to this right now. We here
at iHeartRadio in Tallahassee have partnered with Elder Care Services.
They they are a wonderful organization here. They supply the
meals on wheels in Tallahassee. They do a whole lot
for the elderly community in need here in Tallahassee. And
(15:12):
our DJ on X one one point five, Jared has
come up with a great way of helping out the community.
And this is the second year we've done this. We
have collected twenty dollars box fans. You can get them
at home depot. You can get them at lows, you
can buy them on Amazon, doesn't matter where you get them.
We're collecting them. We're collecting them until next week, and
we are donating every fan we get to Eldercare services.
(15:36):
They drop them off to the elderly who might have
air conditioning issues, might have issues paying their bills so
they don't have the air conditioning on, and when it
gets up to one hundred plus degrees in Tallahassee, that
can be dangerous for an elderly person. So we go ahead,
we donate these fans. Eldercare gives these fans to the
(15:56):
elderly to help them survive essentially this summer. So if
anybody out there wants to donate, please please bring a
fan to three two five John Knox Road Building. G
that's the iHeartRadio Studios. Ring the doorbell. We're on the
left side of the building. We're not at the front
of the building. Left side of the building will come out.
(16:17):
You can take a picture with maybe hose can you
see or our DJ Jared on X one point five
and we will be delivering those two elder care services
later next week.
Speaker 1 (16:27):
So I think I'll I'll one up you on this one.
If you come into our store and you donate a
box fan, I'm gonna give you forty dollars off of
a gun purchase.
Speaker 4 (16:33):
Oo.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
And that's not even a part of the special. That's
just up to tell this that steals over?
Speaker 6 (16:38):
Is it?
Speaker 4 (16:38):
One one per fan?
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Forty dollars off per gun per fan? So you spend
twenty bucks, Yeah, you spend twenty bucks, bring me that
fan and I will give you forty dollars off your
gun purchase.
Speaker 5 (16:50):
That's nice, it is, Curtis. That's awesome, man, Thank you
so much.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
You know, I gotta try something here, you know. And
then one step further, if you donate two vans, we'll
donate one on top of it.
Speaker 5 (17:01):
WHOA, okay, so donate two fans. That's forty dollars you'll
donate on top of that, and then you'll give them
the forty dollars discount. What will you give them forty
dollars per fan?
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Let's see here, I can do the forty dollars per
fan per gun. But again, if you're donating two fans,
I will donate one more additional fan to the cos.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
That's absolutely phenomenal. Thanks so much, Curtis. The elderly are
going to be very happy with that.
Speaker 1 (17:30):
Well, we definitely need to help the elderly out. They
they are our past, we are the future. That that's
not horrible. I was trying to make it sound really
deep and cool and good, but it just sounded really bad.
Speaker 5 (17:41):
So you want to against your nature, that's the problem
I did.
Speaker 1 (17:44):
I did. I went against my nature of being you know,
some some weirdo and I tried to be nice for
once and I went creepy.
Speaker 5 (17:51):
They are today paved the way.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
We pave the way.
Speaker 5 (17:57):
Thank you, Lana.
Speaker 1 (17:58):
Yeah, you see, we just had to have you say
it right.
Speaker 3 (18:03):
Absolutely all right.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
So let's go out and have Ian take it on.
Speaker 5 (18:09):
So we did the first Bible of the Verse last week,
the Bible of the Week, The Bible of the Verse,
the Bible Verse of the Week, last week's segment. So
I was watching movie clips as I do, and I
movie Fury. I don't know if you've seen this one. Yes,
absolutely phenomenal war movie. And there's a segment where Shilah
(18:33):
buff is in the tank and he's talking to John
Barenthal of Punisher Frame and he's getting worked up talking
about why he's there and everything like that, and he
mentions a specific Bible verse, which struck me, especially considering
the stuff we talk about. And while I am not
(18:53):
an avid Bible reader by any stretch of the imagination,
this kind of caught me. And I was like, you
know that, that's really cool. And it's six'. Eight anybody
who's watched the movie might already know about. It i'm
going to read a little bit before. That we're going
to start with the six to six and.
Speaker 1 (19:07):
Go through six.
Speaker 5 (19:08):
Eight so isaiah. Six six then one of the seraphim flew,
to me having in his hand a live coal which
had taken from the tongs from, the altar and he
touched my mouth with it, and, said behold this has touched.
Your lips your iniquity is taken away and your. Sin,
PURGED also i heard the voice Of the, lord saying
(19:31):
WHOM shall i send and who will go? For US then, i,
SAID here, i am. Send ME and i thought that
was a very powerful, you know because there's not a
lot of people who go out and volunteer to be
sent into situations where they need to put themselves in
(19:52):
a either an awkward situation or a. Dangerous situation but
when people, feel called you have. To, listen yeah that.
Speaker 1 (20:01):
Is right so you're talking about if people, feel called
you have. To listen. You know obviously religion And the
constitution and guns and everything else involved, with it they
kind of go hand. In hand but at the, same
time we have a separation of religious. And state religion,
and state, and uh, you know we're in a country of, religious,
(20:22):
freedom right so religious freedom should. Be, Protected now lana
was talking about the h the Idea of actually before before,
the show she was mentioning to us that she was
focusing on what, Was, it lana can you remind me what?
It was the houses?
Speaker 3 (20:42):
Of worship we the church.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Safety, teams yeah the church church. Safety teams and we've
got a lot of customers actually that are on their church.
Safety TEAMS and i think that's. That's amazing and how
as much as we we separate church, and state we
Have The first Amendment The, second amendment, and uh, you
know they all kind of go hand in hand to
protecting not only, our freedoms but our rights to. Practice
(21:05):
religion and that'll that'll kind of take us into our next. Next,
step So like evon, was saying you know you'll, be
called but how will you? Be called so what do
you have to say? About That, you well, there's sorry.
Speaker 2 (21:20):
There's well THERE'S a i don't mean to, cut off
there's a lot of there's a lot of. GOOD versus,
i mean if you look In, the bible Under The
old testament And The, new testament you know You've got
proverbs thirty one. Eight nine You've got psalm, eighty two three,
and four which is defend the weak and, the fatherless
uphold the cause of the poor and. The oppressed In The,
(21:42):
new testament you don't have, A sword sell your cloak and.
Buy One that's. Luke six you've got to protect those
who cannot.
Speaker 1 (21:51):
PROTECT themselves i absolutely. LOVE that i, love it, You
know and it's interesting because the whole idea of a gun,
free zone how do you protect those who can?
Speaker 7 (22:01):
Protect, themselves well when you think, about, that right when
there's when there's an active attacker or something happens to
a who do?
Speaker 2 (22:12):
You call you call people with guns to get there to?
Speaker 1 (22:15):
Stop, it yeah you. Got to you gotta.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Have someoneable you are your own, first responder period and a.
Speaker 1 (22:22):
Discussion, Exactly YEAH and I was i was just Looking
at facebook, this morning and you know there's a there's
a gentleman that shot and killed for the standard ground
law three teens that were breaking into this house with some.
Fake guns do you remember? THAT one? I, Do yeah.
AND uh i think it's interesting because, you know although
(22:44):
these teens were using, fake guns he was, under uh
he was. Under distress he was he was a protecting,
his home he was protecting. His family and so in the,
same sense, you know if we're protecting, our kids if
we're protecting, our families that they were protecting those. Around
us and much like the cityuition in Both, of colorado
you know which we're gonna definitely go. Over more we
(23:07):
and we're gonna go over that that a little bit
more in our. NEXT segment I think jose had something, To.
Speaker 4 (23:12):
Say oh you talk about the faith. And, caring, YEAH
yeah i was JUST gonna i wanted to pick, your
mind not necessarily, giving it not necessarily giving, any advice
but just kind of picking your brain on how you
feel as a Woman of god carrying a concealed weapon
(23:34):
and do you feel like you're not putting all your Faith.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
In god but we can get back to that.
Speaker 4 (23:40):
Here when we come back from our quick commercial breaks
here in.
Speaker 6 (23:44):
The, seconds yeah all righty.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
Long to, stand by and we will be right, with.
You everybody we're gonna. Be back we're gonna go to
a quick.
Speaker 8 (23:50):
Commercial break welcome back To, the era a survival show
(24:31):
where We, talk, god, guns Religion, the constitution and a
little bit.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Of man so we were talking about a little bit,
about religion but let's go ahead and go with religion And.
The constitution and again We've got lana here with right
to bear AND so i want to, go, over like,
let's go let's go Over The. First amendment so In
The first amendment It says congress shall not. Make, It
(24:56):
sorry congress shall make no law. RESPECT thing i am
doing a. Horrible job we're gonna have to delete that.
One out you, Want, To, okay yeah Let's have jose read. That, One,
so jose can you go Over The first amendment?
Speaker 8 (25:14):
For?
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Me oh.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
Of course So The, First amendment congress shall make no
law respecting an establishment, of religion or prohibiting the Free,
exercise therefore excuse me thereof or abridging the freedom of
speech or of, the press or the right of the
people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for
(25:38):
the redress. Or grievances.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
So how does that align itself With The? Second amendment
Because The second amendment is a well regulated militia being
necessary to the security of a. Free state the right
to the people and keeping, bare arms which right to
bare arms keeping bare arms shall not Be infringed solana
have to go.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
Together because if you don't, have one you can't enforce.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
The other so what you're saying is that to enforce freedom,
of speech you have to have the right to. Bear
arms is that what you're? Telling?
Speaker 2 (26:17):
Me correct you absolutely. Have to the way that the founders,
you know wrote our constitution and and did what they
had to do was to protect against anything to ever
happen from. The government because so we need to protect
ourselves from a government that we are the people governed by.
(26:40):
The people and so with all of your h with
all of, the amendments with all Of our Bill, of
rights we have to be protected By The. Second amendment
that's why it's, the second so that the first.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Can, Happen okay so what we're dealing, WITH is, i
mean we're counchy that was founded on freedom, of, religion
right because the religious persecution was so intense that that
the founders Of The united States, of america we're looking for,
Religious FREEDOM am? I right.
Speaker 3 (27:10):
That's.
Speaker 1 (27:10):
Right yeah so so we have we have an issue
that happened This last Monday, In, boulder colorado and it's
it's pretty intense because it's it's involving gun, free zones
it's involving freedom of speech as well as infringement on people's,
religious rights which is every portion of this was a
(27:33):
essentially a violation Of. The CONSTITUTION am? I right?
Speaker 5 (27:37):
You're.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Right yeah so, you know we're not going to discuss
the names or, anything else but, you know eight people
Were injured Sunday, In, boulder colorado and it was a,
religious radical one Man with. Wilatov, cocktails uh we're not
trusting the media. RIGHT now i personally don't trust the
media on this one because the media is calling of the,
terrorist attack but do we really know if it was
(27:59):
a tech or just a religious radical or radical of.
Something else so we don't really have enough facts. On
it and we've always seen before where the media takes
something and when it doesn't meet, their agenda What happens
it drops off, the, Map right so what's going on
right now Is that israel's War in gaza Began when
(28:21):
hamas led militants storm led militants stormed Into southern Israel on,
october seventh twenty, twenty three killing some twelve, hundred people,
mostly civilians and abducting about two hundred and fifty others
at a.
Speaker 5 (28:35):
Music festival at a, music, festival kids these are all
people Young.
Speaker 1 (28:39):
Andbuil yeah kabutzas. And, stuffing now going along with the
scripture we, read Earlier the bible verse we, read earlier
this kind of goes along the lines of what was.
Going on we have to protect those those in. Our
communities we have to protect, the young those who can't. Protect, themselves, So,
so lana you know More, About, boulder Colorade the colorado
(29:00):
laws and different situations. Like that can can you can
you give us a little bit of your your opinions
and also your knowledge of. The, situation.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Sure so you, can protest you, Can gather you can
say whatever you want, to say and that should be your.
ABSOLUTE right i would protect someone's right EVEN though i
don't believe IT or i don't endorse it or. CONDONE
it i will stand Beside the constitution for their right to,
(29:33):
do so their right, to gather their right to say whatever.
They want but the moment you hurt someone else because.
Speaker 3 (29:42):
Of, your actions that's where.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
It stops, show exactly that's what that's where it has to.
Be protected so you can go ahead and freely say whatever.
YOU want i will back you one thousand percent for
your ability to, do so but don't hurt anyone in
the process of you. Doing that Boulder and Colorada, AND
(30:08):
denver i mean That's where. I'm from, oh wow it
is absolutely terrible with their new gun legislation and everything
that they're Doing. In colorado those are the, Two Counties
boulder County And denver county where they have the most
i mean the most extreme.
Speaker 1 (30:26):
Gun laws.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
So help it is, Very personal it is. Very personal
it's the most they have the most extreme, dun laws
but yet they have the most crime in those. Two counties.
Speaker 1 (30:41):
You know and that's interesting that you, say that because
there was a terror attack in, my hometown, in fact
down the street of my elementary School, Of Sambordino, San.
BERNARDINO california i have to say it the, correct, way
right and there was a terror attack THERE and i
remember it very, very closely, you know close to. My
heart and it was attack that. Went wrong the bombs didn't,
(31:02):
go off so the the terrorist, went home grabbed, his
wife and they came back, with firearms and, you know
it turned into a what they wanted to put it
as as a, mass shooting but it was really a.
Terror attack now this is in an area obviously where
we were just talking, About it california and their strict
gun laws of not being able to carry in. Certain
places do you think that there would have Been less,
(31:25):
Uh see i'm trying to be, serious Here but i'm
having a really hard Time with Jose. And ian, i'm
sorry you've never seen. Me, before yeah they're they're, they're
literally uh, you, Know acting they're making faces, to ME
and i was really trying to, be Serious but i'm
trying not. To laugh.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
They, you know, a gun a, gun is it's. A,
gun okay if you, allow guns it's a.
Speaker 3 (31:55):
Polite society so you were we were just talking.
Speaker 1 (31:59):
About, that, yeah sorry.
Speaker 2 (32:01):
My apologies right, At guns, you're right you're. Absolutely right
so if you look at all of the different laws
in all the, different states and you look at the
look at all the Crime. In chicago look at all
the crime and all these. Major cities and by, the
way HERE'S some. I did i did a bunch of
research and check out every single city WHERE an nfl team.
(32:23):
Is located.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
That that. Is true never thought about.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
That one oh every single city THAT an nfl team
is is there look at.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
Their.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Crime right it's unbelievable how all.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
That goes hand.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
In hand NOT that i have anything AGAINST. THE nfl i,
love football but.
Speaker 1 (32:44):
JUST ironic I never i never put that two and. Two, together,
yeah yeah you know you put two and, Two, together
jose but it looked like. Something alse I'm sorry jose's
face here when you realize what he did with his hands.
Speaker 5 (33:01):
A cook reminder that this is not an. Image show
this is not. On television we need to describe things with.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
Our mouths well should we describe that? One, though, no
no that would be that would probably get. Us, canceled, noah,
yeah yeah back to the. Important topic sorry, About, That
lana we're Back on we're back. On topic, you know.
You're good we're completely unscripted and. Completely unacceptable so it,
(33:28):
really is it really is so, so yeah we were,
talking about, you know the terror attack there and and to.
BE honest, I mean I'VE had i have friends and
friends that were actually in the building and some that
were even shot during, this ATTACK and i can just
imagine some. Of them some of the people in that
that attack were also law, enforcement officers off duly enforcement
(33:49):
officers that weren't allowed to carry their gun. In there
so do you think that there would have been fewer
deaths or do you think that the attack would have
ended a? Lot quicker.
Speaker 2 (34:01):
Absolutely So the aurora movie theater shooting that took Place,
In aurora colorado, years Ago When james holmes went into
that theater to cause the destruction that. He did, you
know he had gone into other movie theaters Prior. To,
aurora now the talk was always why did he not
(34:24):
shoot up the first theaters that he went into because
they were not gun for?
Speaker 1 (34:29):
His zone so he was looking for that there were, hard, targets.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
Correct because, he, knew right he knew that when he
would have gone into those theaters because they were not
gun for, the zones somebody in that theater would have
shot his, butt.
Speaker 7 (34:44):
Back, That's, Right yes so he Waited.
Speaker 2 (34:47):
To aurora where there was it was a gun free
zone because law ving citizens follow the laws and criminals
do not.
Speaker 1 (34:55):
They do and to, be honest that's one THING that
i was going into a certain mart with. A wall
i can't say the, actual name but. THE sign i
always thought that it was a gun, free signed, but
no it actually says we encourage you not to openly
carry in. Our store so it says nothing about not carrying.
Concealed weapon it was they, encourage it you don't, Openly
carry but they don't even say don't do it if
(35:16):
the local law. Allows it it just says.
Speaker 3 (35:18):
We, Encourage, WELL curtis i got something.
Speaker 2 (35:20):
Even funnier what is the picture of? That gun first,
of all it is. The outline it's usually got to
circle around it and a line. Through, it well it Is.
A barretta so if you don't Carry, a barretta you're good.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
To, them oh there, You go there. You go that
was a fantastic wall and this one so so in
our next one or we'll. See you we'll be back
on in just a few minutes here and talk about
our word of the day and our.

(43:29):
get you the suppressors you're. Looking for we can handle.
Your SBRs, and, now hopefully hopefully before, Too Long president
trump comes through and we're not gonna talk too. Much
politics but YOU know. I did i did just speak
TO the atf a little. About it they have no
more information than, we do so hopefully not too. Much
longer and we don't have that two hundred dollars tax
stamp FOR The. Sbr, no, no no.
Speaker 5 (43:51):
For suppressors oh, for suppressors, THAT'S right. I, Heard.
Speaker 1 (43:54):
Yeah so so a lot of how. Many suppressors do?
You own.
Speaker 2 (43:58):
Actually NOT one?
Speaker 1 (44:00):
Nfa item, oh so so does that get? A change it? Will,
change good because what's? THE worst i was one.
Speaker 3 (44:08):
That protested, Oh.
Speaker 1 (44:09):
Good so so you were an. Orange protester, oh good
that IS what i, like hearing? All right, So, yeah
no the great thing about suppresseds is they Are not
they're not. A silencer i've never understood why movies seemed to,
think that, you know they go pew. Pu, PUP well
i mean we're Not Watching star. Wars here as a.
Speaker 4 (44:29):
Matter, of fact my buddy he has a five. Hundred
blackout he just got a five.
Speaker 1 (44:34):
Hundred, Blackout man that shows how much you actually Know about,
i'm sorry three. HUNDRED blackout i mean five. Hundred blackout
is that a new caliber that we don't? Know about?
Speaker 5 (44:42):
It?
Speaker 1 (44:43):
Is now oh so you got yourself a three or five?
Speaker 4 (44:46):
Hundred, blackout yeah he got a three hundred blackout and
he has a can on.
Speaker 6 (44:49):
That thing and it does sound like a.
Speaker 1 (44:51):
Movie gun you've never heard one. That goes. It's. Incredible,
OKAY well i mean he must spend a lot of money.
On it but, EVEN so i mean the amount of
money you had to you had to spend on. That
thing i'm sure it was not cheap and than the
two hundred dollars tax stamp and wait a year?
Speaker 2 (45:04):
For, it.
Speaker 6 (45:06):
Now why by one?
Speaker 5 (45:07):
Of those according to, THE movies i can just wrap
a magazine around my gun or use a pillow And,
potato LIKE all i hear is a and.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
You're, DONE yeah i mean you don't. HEAR anything i
mean as long as you got. A pillow, i mean,
come on well the pillow things? Not true WAIT what
i tested?
Speaker 3 (45:23):
That up.
Speaker 1 (45:27):
It, was, like wait wait this one because you negligently
discharged your gun in. Your, shed oh it's you're need
to redeem yourself. On this it's in. The woods it's
like in.
Speaker 5 (45:38):
The woods somebody else's for? Discharging weapons did you?
Speaker 3 (45:42):
Just?
Speaker 1 (45:42):
So Lot and i'm pretty sure that this particular situation
is not something Right to bear? Would? Cover right?
Speaker 3 (45:52):
WE cover i. Love it we never all.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
Accents self that was an evil.
Speaker 5 (45:58):
Tax accidents.
Speaker 3 (46:02):
You cover negligent?
Speaker 1 (46:03):
Discharge, Absolutely, wow okay so you're gonna protect against the
negligent side. Of, it now how? Negligent? Discharge now how negligent?
Speaker 3 (46:12):
Exactly?
Speaker 2 (46:15):
DISCHARGE agreed i don't know what is what level, of
negligent but it is a. Negligent discharge so if you
are to have an accident out of range or at
home or something, like that.
Speaker 1 (46:27):
So more like an accidental discharge with a little bit. Of, negligence,
yeah well.
Speaker 2 (46:32):
We used to call an, accidental discharge and there's nothing
accidental about. A discharge the actual charge is a. NEGLIGENT
discharge i.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
DON'T know i knew someone once that had an. Accidental
discharge well what about what.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
It was?
Speaker 6 (46:45):
A count, you know as.
Speaker 4 (46:47):
An accident they just like.
Speaker 6 (46:49):
To go off their.
Speaker 2 (46:50):
Own right i'm NOT a, fig GIRL so I don't
i DON'T Like.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
Sig now you Know what i'm gonna Do is i'm
gonna have to call my REPOVER at sig and and
have him come in here on one of our show
because there there is a little more. To that. You
know they they won their lawsuit, against, that right. They
did they won their lawsuit because they found out it's
because people don't know how to take their finger off. The,
trigger now if your if your finger is on the
(47:15):
trigger and you shoot your gun at, YOUR leg, i
mean is that just stupidity or is that? Something?
Speaker 7 (47:21):
Else yeah that's that is So so jose's gonna gohead
and close us.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
Out here it looks like we all went over about.
Two minutes, All, right ilana thank you.
Speaker 4 (47:33):

confident with, that though.

Speaker 1 (47:54):
