June twenty ninth.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Everything you touch is gold. That is why my soul
is shining. You're just like I'm ten years old. Everything

(00:32):
is new and surprising.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
North the Shore, New Jersey's ambitious music and arts festival,
is back for its third year, running from June and

and Newark. Also on June twenty ninth at the Stone
Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park will be George Clinton
and Parliament Funkadelic Ohe New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy and

(01:04):
his wife, First Lady Tammy Murphy came up with the
idea of North to Shore several years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
This will be the third year in a row with Newark,
Asbury Park in Atlantic City and to showcase our extraordinary talent,
from the big names that fill the rock down the
street to the very much neighborhood talent and artisans who
make our communities in our states so special. We've got
to look to the arts because we need creativity, we

(01:33):
need ways to communicate, and we need ways to make
sure that everyone feels included.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
A portion of all ticket sales will directly benefit Growing
Healthy Pantries, a partnership between Horizon, Blue Cross, Blue Shield

This year, with laughs and Jams, comedy and music as
our focus, Prudential North to Shore will be bolder, better
and more engaging than ever. Keep in mind that Prudential

gives back. In its first two years, the festival brought
in more than twenty five million dollars in ticket sales,

(02:14):
a portion of which has benefited Growing Healthy Pantries to
address food and security throughout the state. We've entertained more
than five hundred thousand fans at six hundred and fifty
concerts and events at two hundred and fifty venues spread
out between Newark Asray Park and Atlantic City and North
to Shore's Community Arts Grant Awards have given artists and

(02:36):
entertainers from our host cities the chance to perform for
thousands of new fans in beloved venues throughout each of
their hometowns.

Two of the other most anticipated events of the festival

bring energy and impact of hip hop to Prudential Center
