None of this is possible without you, guys. So I
thank you so so very much. Today my guest is
the founder and CEO of the Nudy System, the wonderful
(00:26):
and net Azan hi Anette.
Speaker 3 (00:30):
Hi Ash so happy to be here.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Thank you so much for joining us in ad. I
mean I've been hearing nothing but great things all about
the Nudi System. Yes, goodbye, thank I love that. So
if you could share a little bit with our audience
about how things started, what did this idea even come from?
Speaker 1 (00:53):
So I actually have had a whole career in the
fashion industry on the business and not on design. And
twelve years ago, I believe been saying those words, I
actually was getting remarried and I needed something for my
very skin bearing, very sheer wedding dress and there was
nothing on the market, and I need the market very well,
(01:15):
and I thought, I wonder if I could make something,
you know, for myself that was so light it would
just be like skin. And also you know, I was
never a big brawl wearer. I just wanted to look
natural and for it to disappear. And so myself and
my two daughters, who were like young teenagers at the time,
(01:36):
hands so the first movie out of a fabric never
used for group for beef. And the minute I put
on my body was that aha moment where I went,
oh wow, I could send something was there. This was
a completely different experience that I've ever had before. And
then when I put my dress on, it didn't look
(01:58):
like I had anything on.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
It really looked like I was flawless. So that's how
it started.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
I love that, I love it. I love it well.
So yeah, so we're talking about this, this journey, this
personal journey or you know, this need for your wedding solution,
this wedding dress solution that you had to Now this
patented product with over sixty thousand customers and forty plus
countries is incredible. Hats off to you and the team.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
So we are actually over two hundred and sixty thousand customers.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
In over forty countries.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Yeah, we've we originally launched after doing five years of
development because this is something that's never been one before.
It's not made in a blaw factory. It took a
lot of development and a lot of testing to create
this product and to make it manufacturable. And so we
decided to launch on Kickstarter originally because Kickstarter is a
(02:59):
platform or new creations. And then the audience for Kickstarter
is very bager.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
That's why we think.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
So we said, this is our audience, let's try it.
Let's see if people feel as enthusiastic.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
I need it about it.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
So we had an amazing Kickstarter in twenty nineteen. We
sold over seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars in thirty
days and shipped around the globe. So it was super exciting.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
That's how we started.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Yes, that is an incredible, incredible start, and I mean
the best is yet to come from what I hear.
So it was great things.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
And so it's been going ever since.
Speaker 2 (03:42):
Yes, that is a beautiful thing. And so the new
Y system employs a unique two letter sizing system and
emphasizes its adaptability to different body shapes. How did you
approach this redefining of sizing in this traditionally rigid in history.
Speaker 1 (04:02):
So we are redefining everything. We did call BF on
bras because really bras have done women no good. Blaws
were made to reshape us and so reshaping us, they're
basically saying, you know, you're not good in your natural form,
which after having worked with women in my entire life,
(04:25):
I could see how it would just chip away at
how you feel about yourself. So you know, the blaws
would say, Okay, you need to be bigger, or you
need to be flatter, or you need to be higher,
or need to be It's like our bodies are just
trends dictated by the broad industry, and what I wanted
to bring with mute system, what we have brought beauty
is not abroad. It actually is selling the space between
(04:47):
broads and going brad us. So it's hard your natural
shape we've been told there's been so much cultural stigma
around like what we should look like. We think we
needs support. We don't need support. Actually, there's a lot
of actrecy that comes with wearing a raw when you
(05:07):
are always like they lifted up your goop's never get
a chance to actually build that muscle let it needs.
So we're dispelling all of the things that that women
have thought they needed their entire life. So with newty,
it really hugs your natural shape. It can do a
very gentle hug from underneath, which is where you need
it the most, but.
Speaker 3 (05:28):
Also a really important thing, like in.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
My case when I first made the first beauty braws
don't work with clothing. That's like when you look at designers,
Designers don't think, oh, what's for women going to wear underneath.
That's why when you see things from the runway, we
also have a bras.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
Because they need to work.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
And you've got these incredibly unique designs now lots of
one shoulders, all these cutouts and different types of shoulder
and necklines that blaws don't work with. Part of the
magic of Moody is that our foundation style, which is
this two straps design.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
You can wear it over to the twelve different ways.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Of wearing depending on what else.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
That you're wearing, without any hardware.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
There's no padding, there's no kind of fussiness, and there's
a simplicity to it. But there's also a versatility that
really works for real life. And it's really exciting if
you like fashion.
Speaker 3 (06:26):
To actually have something where you can just go, oh.
Speaker 1 (06:28):
I want to reader my one shoulder today, and you
just move this stress over and it's comfortable. So that's
part of the innovation, and women are sometimes it takes
a while to lean in because it really is a
different feeling. You're like, Okay, I kind of feel a
little vulnerable because I kind of feel a little naked.
(06:50):
Once you kind of like lean into that feeling, it's
super freeing and it's really hard to go back to
the standard structured laws or even goal let's gallets don't
even do that much.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Yeah, I know it right, Oh my goodness. Now what
you're you're saying is all all true most women, I'll say,
you have you know, especially if you are a certain
size boobs wise as I am. Yeah, it's just it's
been this contraption that we've you know, have wrestled with
(07:23):
uh majority of our natural womanly life.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
So yeah, yeah, I mean, if you kind of look
at the history of the braw it was actually.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
Came it became like a uniform when I think it
was World War two, where.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
Are womenkind have had to wear glaws And then it
stuck and then you know, there's been a backlash. Now
with like the millennials, you forget about that. We want
to go galless and kind of be free. This is
something that's really in between.
Speaker 3 (07:52):
You can get the comfort, you can get the the.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Versatility of it and the usefulness of it, but then
you can also just embrace your natural shape, which is
super powerful. Yea. We have had women reach out to
us so when we're in meeting and said, thank you
for giving me my body back.
Speaker 2 (08:12):
Oh that's a beautiful thing. I love hearing things like that,
you know, just just embracing oneself. You know, we look
at social media today, we look online and there's all
these unrealistic expectations for women and I just want like,
and I see these young girls doing all these things
(08:33):
to themselves and all these alterations, and I'm just like,
just be your natural self. You are beautiful and what
God gave you. Like all this extra style, you know,
it's just unnecessary. So I love the fact that you're
harboring a community of women just embracing and loving on themselves.
(08:54):
So I'm all for that.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
Let's what it's all about.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Yes, yes, yes, absolutely. Now, how has it been for
you as you know, as a business owner, as an inventor.
What has been the biggest challenge that you've had in
designing this new boobwear? You know, boobwere styles and things
of that nature. What would you say has been your
(09:18):
biggest challenge?
Speaker 1 (09:21):
So many challenges. I think initially it.
Speaker 3 (09:24):
Was, you know, because I wasn't a designer.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
And I've created this, I think by nagativity was uh
was actually a good thing because I probably wouldn't have started.
But it took a lot longer to figure out how
to make it. And luckily we did have a partner
of manufacturing partner here in the US who initially thought
we were crazy, but did stay with us for five
(09:49):
years to see this through. So initially it was like,
how are we going to get this made? And really
kind of thinking out of the box with that. Now
we're actually made in Turkey and we have an amazing
manufacturing partner. But you know, we've gone beyond our initial
design and so we're always looking at what else is missing.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
We just don't want to make products. To make products,
We really want something like.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
It is something missing, is something that would be useful
because we just don't want to make a bunch of
stuff and try to sell it. It just doesn't feel
good to me anymore. So every one of our styles
there is a why around it, and so you know,
that's been challenging because everyone has.
Speaker 3 (10:32):
To be innovated. It's not just like you designed.
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Something on a pre paper and cut. It's it's an
innovation that's never been done. So it takes a while
a while to innovate and with that comes patience and
frustration and testing. But at the end of it, it's
been an amazing experience.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yes, now, and so people that want to get some
more information and they need to go ahead and grab
their newty, what is the US way for them to
jump onto that.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
Yeah, so we're like, we're based in Brooklyn, New York.
So we are going to have our first four friends.
Speaker 1 (11:09):
Pop up in September. But if you're not we sell
online and we have great education there so that you
can choose the correct style or size for yourself. We've
got lots of videos around each of the styles and
we're at w w W new Dsystem dot com. That's
(11:30):
nu U d II system dot com and we have
a wonderful team ready. You can always you can get
a styling session with one of our team members if
you want.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
And you should check us out.
Speaker 1 (11:43):
But it's you know, if you're curious, I would say
go for it. It is really a new experience and
you may find that like.
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Becomes a little bit lighter.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
Yes, yes, well and neat. I mean this has been incredible.
I tip my hat to you and all of your
team that has made this amazing product a global impact
on women and just helping us to live our better lives.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
Yeah. Really, you're all beauty. It's all beauties and selies.
You can have a lot of fun.
Speaker 2 (12:21):

this out there and that you gotta come back because
I'm I'm I'm still waiting. My nudis in the mail somewhere,
so it's coming to me, all right. We got my

(12:41):

touch on that and all the other announcements and updates
and things. I would love for you to come back
and share with our audience.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Great, great Bhi, this is so much fun.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
Ask I can't race for.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
You that you're nae.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Yes, yes, And I appreciate each and every one of you, guys.
Thank you so much for your love and support. Keeping
in mind. Anyone to tell you that you can't do
what you want to do, you look them square in
the face, you tell them, don't believe me. Just watch
watch what I do. Watch me make it happen, Watch
me make history. That's what we're doing this for history, Woks.
(13:23):
Social media is nice, but real life is so much better.
Until next time, you guys,
