Thank you so much for your love, your support, the love,

(00:24):
even the hate. It makes a difference. That means that
we're in circulation. Why because I get to talk to fantabulous,
ultra talented, beautiful souls like the wonderful Beth go far today. Hello, Beth, Hi,
how are you? I am great, Beth. How are you today?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
I'm doing amazing.

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Thank you so much for having me.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
Oh, it's your honor, your podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
Thank you, Thank you so much, Beth. So Beth, let
everyone know. First things first, where in the world are
you today? Which city? What's your city? Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
I'm in Boston, I mean Boston.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
Wonderful Boston. And you guys are having good weather. I
assume we thankfully.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
I'm a summer girl, so I love summer. You know,
I'm always seven. I mean, I love the fall in
all the seasons, but I'm only seven. When the summer
is like gonnay, and I know we're gonna have cold months,
so I ahead a lot of cold months.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah, but we're not gonna worry about that for now.
We're not. It's coming. We know it's coming, but we're
not gonna concern ourselves with that exactly. I love it,
Oh my goodness. So bath you know, to get things started,
you've spoken about the importance of consistency and protecting your

(01:50):
peace in a demanding industry. What would you say is
the one specific habit that you've established early running your
career that has proven itself to be crucial to your success.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
I'll say that the most important thing for me or
in my career were like setting up boundaries. So I
was learning not to give my energy to negative feedback
right when I started, because you know, when you do
social media, you expose, you know, and you have to

(02:31):
learn not to give your energy to, you know, to
the negative people, whether it's from strangers right online or
isn't from people I know? Like the truth The truth
is as isn't. The most talented famous people do incredible
things get criticized, So why would I expect to be

(02:53):
the exception? Right?

Speaker 3 (02:54):
So that was my realization.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
I had to train myself to protect my peace, to
keep creating without letting all the people that even run
for my own family thinking. So I truly believe that
if you feel coach to do this work called any
type of work, it's because there are people that who
need to see it. So one of my motos since

(03:19):
the beginning is dreams don't have an expiation date. They
do require you to keep going right, even when not
everyone understands your past. And even this family member, as
I was talking before, he was just trying to be
protective over me and wanted to make sure I was

(03:41):
doing the right thing when taking on this jobful time
when I had a career already, So that that's perfectly understandable,
right He was scared and I was scared.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Too, rightfully, So I mean it's I mean, you know,
you you better on your self, and you you left
your nine to five job to become a full time creator,
and that's a huge that's a huge leap. So for you,
what would you what would you say? Was like the
turning point that gave you the courage to make that

(04:16):
final leap of faith?

Speaker 2 (04:20):
Yeah, for me, the turning point came when I finally
quite the doubting voice in my head as I truly
asked myself, if I don't do this now when we
were right, and the honest as was probably never right,
It's like maybe when I'm a hundred years old, and

(04:43):
that that kept me more than the risk itself. I
had to choose believe over fear, even when things are uncertain,
and yes, even when some of my own family didn't
fully believe in this career, because at the end of
the day, I rather take the leap and build my
dream than look back years from now wondering.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
What is right. And when I was deciding.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
Whether to take this content, create a career full time
and leave my job as a social worker, because that
was my job before, I was a social worker, and
I read so with so much guiltash because social work
was ziemply meanful to me. Every day I was helping
people in real, tungible ways, so I worried that by

(05:33):
living I'll be walking away from that purpose. But over
time I realized that impact doesn't have to look the
same to be real, and I felt like to my content,
I could still inspire confidences or joy, like remnd women
that they are vibrant, they are visful and worthy of

(05:57):
taking up space, and I believe that's powerful. So once
I understood that I could still help people right doing
what I'm doing right now, those in a different way,
then I gave myself permission to leave and I never
look back.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Yes, keep pushing forward. And one of the things that
I really admire so much about you is that your
brand is built on authenticity and unwavering honesty. And that's
not something that is common. As you know, as I'm
also a content creator, that's not something that you see
too often. So I tip my hat to you and

(06:34):
your team for being able to just keep that in
alignment and keeping that to be true to you. But
in an industry just so saturated with trends and paid partnerships,
how do you maintain a clear line between staying relevant
and staying true to your values?

Speaker 2 (06:57):
For me, let me thinks my seasoning right country sprinkling,
but never the whole meal.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
So my my.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Foundation is always going to be classic, elevated, wearable in
style that feels like me. But to be honest, I've
turned down so many partnerships that did not align with
my audience or my values, even when the pay check
was tempting trust me. Yeah, but you know, but I

(07:31):
keep you know, I remind myself. I keep reminding myself
that if I compromise out in cheasy for short term attention,
I reached the long term trust have built and trusted everything,
especially in this field. You know that. So if you
will scroll my Instagram, you see a true line. It's

(07:52):
it's always real. It's always me, whether I'm wearing the
trend of the moment or my favorite time less I trousers.
And another thing is that I'm working letting my audience
in to get to know me on a cheaper level, right,
like talking to the camera more, being more present, and
you no more connected to my audience.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Yes, And before finding your stride, you had to learn
to quote unquote silent self doubt and ignore the voices
telling you that oh you're too late, or oh you're
too old, or oh you're you know, you're beyond your limits.
What advice would you give to someone who feels that

(08:35):
they've missed their opportunity window to start pursuing their passion.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
Yeah, that's a million dollar question. So well, first, who
told you there is a window? Right? What I think
is like, you don't need to be young and hip
to start his career. You can see the success fault.
And one of the things that I did early in

(09:05):
my career as a content creator is that I did
not believe in putting myself in a box, and I
didn't think anyone else should either. You know, I can
style both a younger wardrobe and a more mutual wardrobe
because to me it style is not about age. It's
about how you want to feel. How you want to
feel right when you put a dress, so when you

(09:27):
get yourself ready. And I started my content creator creating
my footies when the industry often tells women, you.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Know, you're too old.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Oh it's too late. You know, people told me that
it's late. It's some created. But the truth is your
life experience gives your perspective that can inspire people of
all ages. The only limits are the ones we place
on ourselves. So instead of asking is it too late

(10:01):
for me?

Speaker 1 (10:02):
I would ask why not me? And why not? Now?

Speaker 2 (10:06):
You know? So the truth is your live experiences, your wisdom,
your perspective. Those are your superpowers. Those are my superpowers.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
You know.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
They make your voice different from everyone else's. And the
only expiation date is the one you decide to be.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Living all facts, paths, all facts. I love it. You're
you're dropping those gemstones on us today. Girl, I am
already a scarred to start up some news stuff. I'm like,
you know what, that's it. I'm not too old. I
can do it. You know what? Why now can do it?

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:45):
You can't do whatever you want.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
You gotta believed.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
You gotta believe, Okay.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
Yeah, you got to be lived.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Yeah. Yeah. And of course your work as a content
creator is described as a reflection of your journey and growth.
So what is a piece of content you've created that
holds a particularly personal meaning to you?

Speaker 2 (11:11):
One piece of content that you will always stand out?
For me was my very first seed you for this
schul brand that got bitelisted. So up until then I
was just like creating, learning, experimenting. But that moment so
like a turning point for me. Not only did the

(11:31):
brand like take me seriously, but my audience didach you.
I remember I was showing this gorgeous you were send
those and people weren't just watching, they were bugs. And
I got to the comments to like the messages, the excitement,
and I realized my ad wasn't just content you was

(11:52):
influencing people's choice in a real way.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
And that was the.

Speaker 2 (11:57):
First time I thought like, hmm, I can ask beauty
career out of this. And the best Celias was like,
you know, unforgettable.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Yes, yes, And and we know now that you are
a Boston girl. So Boston, Boston is a city with
unique aesthetic and just culture as a whole. It's a
huge melting pot similar to New York. I would definitely
say up North, it's a different vibe, it's a different,
different feel as I'm also I'm a New York baby,
so I know, you know, New York baby, brought up

(12:29):
in the South, all that good stuff. But how does
your Boston based perspective influence the content creation that you
have and particularly the fashion and the beauty space.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
Right, So you've been to Boston before, of course, and
I think Boston has this beautiful because hasty, modern edge
and I really love this and like you know, full
of weapon. Ever been to Boston thing, like you know,
cover stone streets meets leadless buildings, you know, So I

(13:05):
think I think that is reflecting my style too, right.
My style is all about timeless foundations with a fresh
twist and shooting here in Boston means that I'm constantly
inspired by the seasons, you know, from the leaves and
bi conveale to the ocean building summer. So my followers

(13:28):
know they seem real life, no stage sets, and I
think that out the Cheese is part of why my
quntent connects. And honestly, you know, one of the things
I love most is that Boston is not like oversaturated,
hyper competitive thing like some of the cities are. So

(13:49):
everyone is just doing their own thing and that energy
makes it easier to focus on my creativity without feeling
like in a constant race. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
I agree with that because a lot of the different markets,
you know, I'm in the Atlanta market, and it is
very competitive on so many avenues. It's fashion, it's food. Uh,
there's just a lot going on down here. And I
will say, Boston, I think you you found your niche.
Boston definitely has it's it's way of having its own

(14:22):
little section, and like you said, it's not heavily overpopulated.
So I think that definitely has contributed to a lot
of the ways that people have found you exactly the.

Speaker 3 (14:37):
Reserve ones like me, you know, when we start this career,
it's a little it's challenging, you know, when you're not
really used to.

Speaker 2 (14:49):
To be you know, social like the social and extensive.

Speaker 1 (14:54):
Yes, Now, looking ahead, what is one major goal for
you your career that you hope to accomplish and how
do you think that you'll get about doing that.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
I think that one of my biggest goals moving forward
is too continue fighting women to go after their dreams
and to leave an impact on anyone who's trying to
do the same thing I'm doing. Not necessarily content you know, creation,
but anything that you are patiate about. And I also

(15:29):
want to get more person with my audience, not just
showing them the finished photos, the finish videos, but letting
them really get to know me, like you know, I
mean talking to the camera more, doing Q and a content,
attending more events and sharing those moments in real time.
And it also opens up the doors for new styles

(15:53):
of content, things like a blog style visus for tiktoking,
YouTube vogus, having trip questioning this style, interview on stories,
and martime pieces you know like Home New England Life
lo I see all of this as a way to

(16:13):
connect Viper while also expending my creative voice.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Yes, I love it, Beth. You are just such a
sparkle of inspiration, a sparkle of life, and I am
all for it. We are all team Bath around here,
Yes we all.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I hope I'm going to be minded more often, of course.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
I mean I was just about to say that, Bath,
I you have just sprinkled just such a goodness today
on us. And sometimes we as women, we need to
be reminded that, you know what, we need to be celebrated,
you know, and you know we're in some really trying
times right now, Beth, and we need a reminder that
you know what, women we matter, were beautiful, We bring

(16:57):
something extra to the table, we deserve to be at
the table. And hey, maybe it's our own dog on table.
We'll claim it if you take it. We bring it all.
So I am so grateful that you had time in
your schedule to chat with us today. I would love

(17:18):
nothing more, Beth, if you would just come back and
share with us, because I know that there's going to
be You've got some stuff on the pot, you know,
on the stove cooking. I know you got some things cooking, Beth.
You know we couldn't we couldn't get into too much today,
you know that the ink is still dry and on
the paperwork. But I would definitely love for you to

it inspires people every single day, especially as they look
on your social platforms and they see you out and

(18:02):
for them to continue to follow your journey and to
you know, to get some more inspiration from you.

and you really giving amazing energy, and I love it.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
Yes, yes, yes, we definitely will. We'll keep that going.
And I appreciate each and every one of you, all
that tune in, that download that stream, that shares the cares.
It makes a huge difference for this show. And I
just want to say, for anyone out there that's looking
to accomplish their goal, their dream, whatever it is, you

(19:36):
know somebody's out there that's going to try to discourage
you and tell you, you know, anyone to tell you that
you can't do what you want to do. You look
them square in the face, you tell them, don't believe me.
Just watch watch what I do. Watch we make it happen.
Watch we make history. All right, We're going to take
over and keep on pushing forward no matter what. And

(19:58):
