Speaker 1 (00:22):
Welcome to Love your Life with Law of Attraction. I'm
your host, Jennifer Bailey, and this podcast is designed to inspire,
uplift and add more joy to your life. Hello there,
(00:45):
and welcome to Laway Coffee Chats, where a few mindful
moments can shift your whole day. Today we're talking about contrast,
and not just talking about it, but actually practicing how
to spot it in real life and use it to
move toward clarity. Because here's the truth, contrast is everywhere,
(01:10):
and if you know what to do with it, contrast
becomes one of your greatest allies. Let's look at ten
real life examples of contrast, how to notice it, the
not so helpful way to deal with it, and the
way that keeps you aligned and attracting what you want.
(01:32):
Number One, you feel dread about an upcoming Monday morning meeting.
Notice it that heavy pit in the stomach feeling. That's contrast.
The ineffective approach is to worry all weekend, complain to everyone,
imagine the worst. The effective way to deal with that
(01:55):
contrast is to notice the contrast and say, I want
to feel ease and confidence about my work, so focus
on thoughts that support that feeling. Number two, you get
a surprisingly high bill from your dentist. Notice it. Your
(02:17):
first reaction is sticker shock and frustration. The ineffective approach.
Stay mad, replay the unfairness, stress about money. The effective approach,
Notice I value financial flow and feeling abundant. Shift your
(02:40):
focus to trusting that money flows to you and solutions
are available. Number three your friend keeps canceling plans at
the last minute. Notice it you feel disappointed and undervalued.
The ineffective approach. Ruminate about how unreliable people are. Feeling resentful.
(03:07):
The effective way to approach this contrast realize I desire
dependable mutual friendships. Focus your energy on attracting aligned connections.
Number four. You realize your clothes don't fit the way
(03:29):
you want anymore. Notice it you feel uncomfortable and critical
in front of the mirror. The ineffective approach to this
contrast is to beat yourself up, stay in shame, feel powerless.
A more effective use of this contrast is to acknowledge
(03:51):
I want to feel strong and vibrant in my body.
From that empowered desire, you're in spare to make supportive choices.
Number five you're stuck in slow traffic on the way
to an appointment. Notice it you feel impatient, annoyed, trapped.
(04:15):
The ineffective approach to this contrast is to fume in
your car. Tell yourself this always happens to me. A
more effective approach to this contrast, notice I value flow,
ease and perfect timing. Relax, breathe, and trust your exactly
(04:37):
where you need to be. Number six, a project you
were excited about gets postponed indefinitely. Notice the contrast, you
feel disappointed, deflated, maybe even rejected. An ineffective approach is
(04:58):
to stay stuck in disappointment at maybe even questioning your worth.
A more effective approach to this contrast, say, I want
exciting opportunities that are fully ready for me. Open yourself
to new projects that match your energy flow. Number seven.
(05:21):
You realize you've said yes to something you didn't really
want to do. Notice it you feel heavy, obligated, maybe
a little resentful. The ineffective approach to this contrast is
to drag yourself through it martyr style. A more effective approach, notice,
(05:45):
I value honoring my true yes and true no going forward.
Then you make aligned decisions and trust that's loving to
all involved. Number eight you feel overwhelmed looking at your
cluttered inbox. Notice it, the side of it makes your
(06:09):
chest tighten. It's an ineffective approach to this contrast to
feel defeated, avoid it, tell yourself it's hopeless. A more
effective approach realize I want to feel organized and calm
with my communication. Break it down into doable steps with
(06:31):
that intention. Number nine. You hear negative news and feel
fearful about the future. Notice it your mind starts raising
with worst case scenarios. The ineffective approach to this contrast
is to doom scroll to feed your fear to spiral downward.
(06:57):
A more effective approach to this contract is to pause
and say I value stability, well being, and peace. Choose
sources and thoughts that align with hope and possibility. Number ten.
You notice you're constantly tired and drained at the end
(07:20):
of the day. Notice it. Notice that exhaustion feels like
your default setting. An ineffective approach to this contrast is
to just ignore it, push through, normalize burnout. A more
effective approach to this contrast is to acknowledge I desire
(07:42):
vitality and balanced energy. Prioritize rest, joy and activities that
recharge you. Here's the magic. Every moment of contrast is
offering you clarity. It's like a neon sign flashing this
(08:05):
way to what you truly want. But you have to
be willing to notice it without staying stuck in it.
And if you're wanting more support shifting from contrast to
clarity faster, easier, and with more confidence. I offer one
on one coaching sessions where we work on exactly that.
