Speaker 1 (00:00):
Michigan's number one for New country B ninety three. Mike,
remember when we were talking about I think you had
this as a one you shouldn't a couple of weeks ago,
and you were like, I bet you are a person
that unpacks your suitcase as soon as you get home.
Oh yeah, Well I wanted to tell you this because
I'm very much not that person. Okay, I am packing
(00:20):
because Yimmy and I are going on our first flyaway
adventure this weekend. We're going to his lacrosse Nationals. Congratulations
to the Grand Rapids Grizzlies men's lacrosse team.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Sure, congratulations on your love weekend.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
They made it. They made it to Nationals in New
York City, So they're going to be competing this weekend.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Okay, and I get to go. That's exciting.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
And I'm packing and I still haven't unpacked from that Bachelorettra.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
We're very much the same in that then. I don't
unpack either very fast. My wife unpacks immediately, bless her heart.
I don't know how she does it. I don't know
the energy. How do you have that energy when you
get back? Like, don't you want to take it? Like
for what I don't want it's a whole completely a
side rate.
Speaker 1 (01:04):
But ask her what it's like to have a brain
that works, that works like correctly and properly, and because
my like and it's full, Like I don't think I've
taken Actually I've taken one thing out of the suitcase, okay,
and it's what we had in the box last week
that we're also going to have tomorrow because no one
guessed it last week. That's the only thing I've taken
(01:26):
out of that suitcase.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Yes, I only I just take this stuff out as
I would need it. So like my my toothbrush and
my razors and stuff were in there, so I had
to take them out and use their rights, you know
what I mean?
Speaker 2 (01:36):
Right, that's it. Outside of that, I don't I don't
pack either.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Yeah, I think it means I've got way too many
clothes if I don't need anything in there. But yeah,
so I got to get all that stuff out of
there and pack because we leave early Thursday morning.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Is this your first trip as like a couple like away?
It is? So it is a love weekend.
Speaker 1 (01:56):
It is, but it's not. It is it is, but
like I don't want to make it like all about us,
you know, like he's going with his team and they're
competing and I'm there to cheer them on, and they're
gonna do so good.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
They're so good.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
That's very exciting. And I could tell you're very supportive. However,
I feel like there's a butt coming. No, I mean
we're going away from that. Like, this is a big deal.
This is a big deal. You're going away for the
first weekend ever that this tells you a lot about
a relationship about each other. I have nothing but confidence
(02:31):
of faith in this. Yeah, but this is a big
this is a big moment.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
You know what if he starts clapping when the airplane lands.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Oh would that? Would that be the deal breaker? No?
Would you tell him to stop?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
At least yes, you would go you would just stand
up with him and just support him on the first
one and be like, yeah.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
Oh that's a good that's a good call.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Maybe I would just do that, and then maybe he'll
see it and go, oh, I don't like that.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Maybe no, Because we're flying out of and rapids, so
you know, like we might know people on the flight.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Oh that's true, that's true.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
You know, you can't be acting out of pocket when
you fly out of your home airport because there's people
on there that live in your city.
Speaker 3 (03:10):
That's true, but you're gonna tell a lot like that
first trip alone with each other, there's gonna be things
that happen that don't go right.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
How does he react? How do you react?
Speaker 1 (03:21):
I had a ex boyfriend years ago and our first
fly away together it was the trip was fine, but
like flying and getting there, I was like, this is
not what I expected from you. Yeah, but I'm not
worried about you me. I feel like I feel like
it'll just be like the rest of our relationship where
it's like, oh, yeah, of course this would go smoothly.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Because so I'm excited though, that is it. That's very
it's a very exciting moment. I'll say. I'll say this.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
My wife and I went on our first weekend away
to macanaw.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
We drove, so it's not a fly road trip, Yes,
in a car together.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
We argued an entire day there on the bikes and
argue the whole time.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Amazing, such good team building.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Yeah, and it worked out for the best. But like,
even if it goes bad, it doesn't mean that it's
like the relation, it's just you're going to learn a lot.
These are the moments where you learn a lot.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
I know, I love it. I love it. It's all data.
Speaker 1 (04:20):
Does anyone have any like first trip stories, good or bad?
It's the b Natty three Morning Show. I'm Ali, Max
and Mike going on my first flyaway trip with s
Yimmy this weekend. So we're talking about first trip stories,
the good, the bad, the.
Speaker 4 (04:37):
Ugly Alida, Middleville.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
You got a first trip story?
Speaker 4 (04:42):
Yeah? I had bought my boyfriend a trip to Barcelona
and Rome. Oh we had been Dayton like four months.
Whoa Christmas present? So a month later we have on
a plane out of Chicago, had to Barcelona, get into Barcelona,
(05:02):
off the plane and all the taxis are on strike
suber Taxis. So now we're in the airport and we
don't know Spanish, we can't read anything, and we're just
standing there looking like where do we go?
Speaker 2 (05:19):
What do we do?
Speaker 4 (05:20):
And we've been dating five months, so you know we're
going on a nine days ak and we finally we
signed a train booth so to speak, look to figure
out how to get a train ticket. But we can't
read anything, nor do we know where we're going. Figure
it out from somebody else that speaks English with us.
Get on, get the train, get to our location, and
(05:44):
now we're at our stop. And we walked around dragging
our suitcases for an hour, trying to find our hotel.
What was for an hour?
Speaker 2 (05:54):
What was his reaction? Was he calm, cool and collect
or did he flip out?
Speaker 4 (06:00):
Oh my gosh, so calm, cool and collect It was unbelievable.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Are you guys, did you guys stay together.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
Or are you still together?
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Years later
