(00:15):
Hey, everybody, and welcome tothe Labor of Love or half Up.
I'm here as always with the lovelyHaley Strong and a special guest joining us.
Haley, how are you doing tonighttoday? I'm doing well. You
know, I truly think the pandemichas just completely rotted my brain because I
(00:36):
liked this show. I loved watchingListen to Your Heart. I liked the
first episode of this show, andI'm like genuinely excited to keep watching it.
But even more exciting, like youmentioned, we have a wonderful guest
with us. You know, she'sa regular on the Atmosphere and she's a
BFF of our podcast. Kurson mckinnis, Kursten, What is up, Hi,
(01:00):
I'm just I'm so happy at everyopportunity I have to like slowly nudge
my way into your trash romance TVterritory because there's room for all of us.
And yeah, we are coming togetherin one big trash conglomerate. So
in the last year you've covered LoveIsland, Us and Too Hot to Handle
(01:22):
and we've been keeping on keeping onum with the Bachelor for and I'm not
kidding, our sixth anniversary just past. We have been doing this for six
years. Wait, what's the sixthyear anniversary gift? Which and I have
brought you? Jes you being hereis gift. So the sixth anniversaries the
(01:42):
cursed in anniversaries that I'm getting fromexactly, so we are um you know,
like we mentioned um me in ourfinale. If whatever we just talked
about, you might not have listenedbecause you didn't care about listen in your
heart. Whatever, we're not offendedanyway, UM worked trying to fill our
time because you know, I'm unemployed, so I might as well be doing
(02:04):
something. And I guess that somethingis talking about labor of love. I
mean I always need some kind ofshow on my TV screen that is a
romance in some way competition And yeah, Kristen, this is a show about
a woman who's forty one and she'snot getting any younger. What do you
think about this concept here, laborof love? I mean, there is
(02:28):
there's nothing better during a time whenwe're all forced to stay home to be
like but just remember there's a tickingclock, and you know, eventually on
all of our olays. Thankfully,I'm not someone who's you know, concerned
or interested in children so I don'tneed to worry about the ticking clock.
(02:49):
I feel like this could really bringup him anxiety for a lot of people.
If it wasn't happening during COVID,I don't know if we'd be watching
it though point. And it makesme wonder, like, did Fox move
this up because they knew, like, there's nothing else got on right now.
We've we've gone through a lot offinales in the last couple of weeks
and now we're just here being like, so what's next? And Labor of
(03:14):
Love is next? And you know, I thought it was going to be
super corny, super cheesy. Foxreality shows kind of have the tendency to
be a little like tacky. AndI'm not saying that like this will class
up any living room, but Idon't I think it could have been a
lot worse. And that's saying somethingabout a show that made a bunch of
(03:35):
guys, in Mike Bloom's words,jo in a truck. Okay, so
the jomobile jomobile that is, Andeverybody needs to just never say it again.
So here's the question. So obviouslythere's a lack of content on the
horizon, you know, shows, camp, film there's gonna be gaps in
(03:58):
the calendar. Do you think Foxwill bring back the old reality shows they
canceled after one or two episodes tofill the guy air all of I want
to marry Harry. Yeah, exactly. I think that's an opportunity and they
should do that. I agree.I think that would be a good move
on their part. Fox. Payme for that idea. Um So,
(04:23):
Christie, we're introduced to her. She's forty one, Okay, she was.
She looks amazing. She does andshe actually was on Bradwalmax season of
The Bachelorrette, so this is Bachelor. This is why we're qualified, Haley,
even though nobody remembers, Um,god, if that is natural amazing
and if that is not naturally amazing, want to know the name of her
(04:46):
doctor? Holy shit? She looksgood. Um And I I like Christie.
She's very confident in what she wantsand she wants to be a mother.
And Kristen, I'm kind of likeyou, like I've never yearned her
parenthood. I can barely take careof myself. Um So, I didn't
totally. I really feel like Idon't. I don't know what's the what's
(05:12):
the word. I'm looking for likeI don't or like her situation or yeah,
I guess they don't relate. Iempathize for her situation totally. How
devastating it is, like that, like you want to be a mom and
you want a partner to be amom with. And I love that She's
like, if this doesn't work out, I'm just gonna have the I love
that great, Christie. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, Christy is amazing.
(05:34):
I just wonder how is she single? Like what what's going on there that
she is not with someone? BecauseI should I would have to imagine that,
you know, at forty one, being like this incredible you you would
think that everyone would just want tobe with her. But are they like
are they all trying to date twentyyear olds or something? All the menoryzing
(05:56):
look at something like that because shesaid, when um, the host was
asking her, she said, it'sdifficult to do. You mean Kristin Davia,
Kristin Davis, this is the hostof the show. Yeah, Kristin
Christie, And we've got Kristin here, so we've got it perfect. It's
gonna be Yeah, there's a lotof confusion here. I think we could
just call Christie Cindy avoid confusion becauseI heard that also could be her name.
(06:21):
Yeah, Kristin Davis is still sucha babe, and I thought it
was so endearing when Christie is like, Charlotte was my girl. I guess
everybody was so excited to see her. I thought the guys probably thought that
she was the bachelorette. She wasthe many of them. Do you think
(06:42):
knew who she was? I thinkthey. I think a few of them
maybe recognize her, but yeah, they probably just thought it was the person
they're competing for. Walking in rightare from one of my favorite podcasts,
Who Weekly Is Kristin Davis? Whoare them? M hm? So's where
(07:03):
I get exposed for not for notlistening to Weekly, and it's rude.
It's like, do you know, like, do people know who she is?
Or do people not know who sheis? I feel like I would
I think so, I would sayshe's probably at them, She's she's at
them. I feel like, um, the only group where it would be
(07:24):
a question of if she is awho is this group of men in their
like late thirties or the forties whomaybe have been single and not insects in
the city. Let's talk about thesemen. Okay, they're not like that.
I mean, but are they allgreat? I mean if this was
(07:45):
the cast for Claire season of TheBachelor, would I be happy? Yeah?
I think that's what I was thinking. I was like, is this
why they couldn't cast for Claire becauseall the guys in her age range were
fighting to be on this show?Yeah? Like, you know, because
we are experts in the Bachelorette,we know, not always the best people
show up to the female led seasonsof this show. So I think it
(08:09):
could have been like significantly worse ofa cast. What do you think they
guys knew? Because I thought maybeit was going to be sprung on them.
They were surprised, but they camein being like, so we're gonna
make some babies. Yeah, itseemed pretty like okay, well, and
I'm glad that they know. Um, I think it would be unfair to
spring like our lead wants to bea mom like in three weeks, like
(08:31):
to a bunch of like forty fouryear old committophobes. True, So I'm
glad that's well. And I feellike they're like obviously in this first episode
is when they they you know, get the fertility testing, but like,
I feel like they probably also hadto do some kind of fertility testing in
(08:54):
the casting process, Like imagine I'mtrying to get on the show and finding
out actually not for you can't havecannons. Yeah, yeah, I thought
you were going to get at leastone, like, oh, actually you
you probably can't have children. Ifeel like they had to do that in
the pre screening process because that wouldjust be too devastating on the actual show.
Yeah, and I feel like theywould have been a lot more upset
(09:16):
or like weird get out by havingto jack off in a trailer if when
it already when they have to putput up a hand, if you've j
owed in the last five days, they had to They had to have known
that that was a concern as well. Everyone as a Budge, who did
(09:37):
not seem super happy about it.Yeah, he was not excited. There's
a guy named Budge on this show, which one is Budge? Let me,
I'm not having a vodka, soyeah, I I don't like him.
I just scrolled through. I havea page open with like the whole
(09:58):
cast on it, so I canscroll through when I forget who they are,
because I famously have trouble telling whitemen apart, is that the women's
health meg dot com that is fullof sea all fifty Instagram profiles, because
that is what I have a bitch. Yes, of course, I'm kind
of surprised that is even a featureon women's health, but you know,
(10:20):
I mean, you know what women'shealth probably has to deal with, you
know, fertility questions too. Sothis is this is right up there,
Alie, you gonna put in thechat so you can also get it on
this. I just think Budget's realname is budget, Like, what is
it naming your child budget? BudCollinson? What does that stand for?
(10:46):
Cameron? I'll look him up onInstagram specifics, Okay, so yeah,
um, he just seems to goby Budge. He also, um hows
what looks to be an MLM product. It's like you infusion, that's what
he's the drink more Beneficial. Yeah, he's the founder. It looks like
(11:09):
he got somebody to photoshop his picturetoo, because he does not look like
the guy we saw on TV.This man has two hundred followers. I
don't think this show has really takenoff because Alan, the hottest guy in
the show, only has four hundredand seven followers like Alan is hot.
I can't even Alan is the guyfrom South Africa, right, yea,
(11:31):
yeah, yeah, Alan is farand away like the best flicking man there.
He's like people might know me from, you know, giving some sequester
commentary, and I like to pickone person I think is really hot.
This man, he's my Jack Danger, you know, he's my Nick Marano.
I thought you were going to gowith Kyle, who I believe is
(11:52):
the one who is six foot eight. No, but six foot eight is
too tall. That's scary to me, Like I want to like feel like
small and delicate, but I don'twant to feel like at risk. So
they feel like six foot eight istoo like I feel like I would be
a danger. There's actually somebody elsewho's familiar to us on this show,
(12:16):
and that is Marcus Layman, whowas on Survivor cabone with another bff of
the podcast, Randy Bailey. Youknow, I wonder if Randy's watching this.
I'll sign to his dams and askhim. Yeah, Marcus was first
out of the limo as it were, but um Christie was not there waiting
for him, So I don't knowif it has the same symbolism but thank
(12:37):
god they didn't do like limo entranceslike the Bachelor bacherette, Like can you
imagine what these men would have said, I don't even want Oh god,
honestly, maybe on the cutting roomfloor, like they were like, oh,
that would be cute, and thenit happened and they're like that was
not cute. Yeah, what doyou guys think about mark this um competing?
(13:01):
He was on some other show thatspeaking of shows that could be brought
back that we're on the cutting roomfloor. Um. I think it was
called three or something way back whenit was on CBS and it was another
like reality love competition and that justwent straight to internet television. Never even
heard of that. I feel likeI saw tweet recently that Marcus was like,
(13:24):
well, Survivors not calling, SoI'm on a new project, Labor
of Love. This is the naturalprogression, I mean to so you go
for a survivor to Labor of Love. So like, where am I supposed
to go? Like stage coach,I don't show might work? Um,
(13:48):
Marcus I thought did pretty well onthis. Yeah, all the guys,
and all the guys seem to likethem, and the head of the class
seemed to like them as well.Um, totally crushing on him. I
mean, he's cute and he's adoctor. She makes great points, and
they seem to be very much onthe same page, which I appreciate.
(14:11):
Yeah, they're on the same age, they're ready for the same things.
It seems like somebody that didn't makeas good of impression was the next guy
that arrived, Jason. Jason whoI mean, worrying Henley and like a
zip up hoodie where most of thepeople were in suits, Like I didn't
think this guy was gonna do toowell. Yeah, yeah, it's a
(14:35):
little out of his element. Washis excuse. Well, he's southern.
He doesn't know what it's like totalk to people like I don't know.
Yeah, you know, when youcome from a small town, it means
that there's a lot of pressure onyou, and it means that you don't
know how to function in society. Is basically how how Jason you know,
(14:56):
expressed himself. He's like, youknow, I'm just from a small town.
I I drank too much. Ididn't know. It's like, Um,
if I know anything about small towns, which I want to say I
do, I'm pretty sure there's nothingto do except drink too much. He
knew what he was doing, right, Yeah, yeah, I was kind
(15:16):
of surprised that he stayed around. But he had the same job as her
father, So that's that's something,right, Yeah, I you know,
I just wish I could have foundmyself a man who worked at an outdated
car assembly plant, just like myfather. That's the one thing Ethan didn't
have going for him. What ashame. I can't even I can't even
(15:39):
joke, guys, if I evereven say I am interested in dating a
military I refused to. Let smackme, Just smack me. It's not
for me. Let's see who elsestood out to you, guys. Um,
should we talk about Alan a littlemore? Yeah? I liked Alan.
I don't care if he called herCindy's good looking. I only like
(16:03):
a firefighter. Oh yeah, firefighterrose his name Angelo? Oh yeah,
Okay, So I didn't have aproblem with Angelo on the show, but
I have a major problem with Angeloin this Woman's health mag's article. Well,
I can he so many appcause thepicture of him is like scary,
(16:25):
Like why he doesn't look natural? And I feel like he shouldn't be allowed
to pose with his his fire fightinggear in this way, it's against the
code. He's like so vainy afirefighter calendar type picture. I also really
like Trend's fashion sense, Like alleverything he was wearing I wish I owned
(16:47):
for me, including like the redsuit he was wearing right off the top.
He had this great jacket in thisInstagram photo. In this post he's
wearing like a cute peach jacket thatI'd like to have. Yeah, this
peace each bomber is adorable. Iwas like, after this podcast, I'm
gonna have to look up where Ican buy this because that is very me.
He also has a he's a catin the picture relatable content. I
(17:12):
thought Stewart was great, Like youknow, as soon as they met.
A lot of the times in TheBachelor we see the like first question to
day, like can I steal youfor a second? Uh, Stewart did
it right, He said, whatcan I get you to drink? What
a wonderful move by store. Thatis exactly the question I want to be
asked. Um, that is whathappens when it's a bunch of forty year
(17:33):
olds. They actually have a littlebit of manners. Yeah, because one
of the other guys. I thinkit might have been Trent, Like,
oh, Stuart, that's what Ishould have done, Like they you recognize.
And it's so sad because I feellike that's like literally the bare minimum.
But we're all like, oh mygod, that was sweetest thing ever,
like the yeah, yeah, umyeah, let's see how I was
(18:03):
gonna ask about Tally. It's totallystood out to me, but not in
a good way. Yeah, Ithink vives from him. He also creeps
me out. She also seemed toget that impression from him. So I
don't I don't remember this man,Like I don't know him. He could
pass me on the street and Iwouldn't have a clue. But in this
(18:25):
Instagram picture, he looks like theZodiac Killer, so I'll pass he does.
He looks like a killer set oflike a serious catalog like this,
just like I couldn't see all yeah, absolutely straight out of the Sears catalog
with the like light blue blazer andthe darker blue shirt that is not tucked
in his pants, and like Icould see this being like an advertisement for
(18:51):
Dexter, like he is a serialkiller. He will uh, he will
get you, Like I if Isaw this man, I would run,
Yeah, I want to run. When he made the comment, he said,
the whole time, I'm thinking tomyself, I hope you're ready to
make a lot of babies with me. That was his first impression of yeah.
(19:12):
Yeah. And when they had liketheir secondary conversation, and it could
have been it could have been editing. Absolutely um, but you know,
every time she asked him a question, he just like, well, what
do you like? What do youdo? What do you think? What's
going on with you? And she'slike, um, you're being a little
cage dude. Good good. Ithink she has pretty good sense and she
(19:33):
sent this loser home. She's gettingthe same dexter vibes, I think,
because yeah, he was abating thequestions left and right. What does And
also like these people are getting filmedlike production probably went to her and was
like, listen, you you gottakind of loose. He's not behaving.
Well yeah, yes, So theyhave a Their party was a southern sware.
(19:55):
They're trying to differentiate from bachelor bachelorette. They can't. They don't have
the same type of limo entrances. She is not the bad stort. She
is the are you ready to meetthe mother to be Um. I don't
know what the men are called.I saw this article calls them dad chillers.
(20:19):
You know, it's very important. This is clearly happening in Georgia.
They make it. They mentioned thestate numerous times. Uh, you know,
there are a lot of incentives tofilm in Georgia, so it makes
sense, and it would be there. And they're in like two like Airbnb
mansions right next door to each other. Yeah, what are these? Those
(20:41):
are beautiful houses. Do you thinkit was built just for this No,
there's not a chance that this showhad the production budget to build homes,
I know, but it just likefelt like it looked really good. It
did look really good. I thinkthat those are like people's houses. And
they were like, listen, wewill pay you to let us use them
(21:03):
for a week and a half andwe'll put you up in a hotel.
And the people who lived there werelike, yeah, I would love to
see my show in my house onTV. And then now that they're gonna
watch these episodes and be like ahome, No, this is what it
was used for. Yeah. Yeah, it looked like just like a gorgeous
home that would be an HDTV.But then somehow there was like another home
(21:25):
right next to it, So maybeit's like the somebody has a really fancy
guesthouse and their property or something.Maybe when they all stood on the lawn
and called her name, that wasa moment that like, we're never going
to ever get something like that again. It was incredible. Yeah, yeah,
it really felt like just kind ofit reminded me of kind of old
seasons of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. I think it was Diana's season where
(21:48):
the guys actually lived like on theproperty with her or something, so it
kind of had those vibes where theyjust have barbecues in the backyard. But
yeah, they all called their name. But as I mentioned before, I
needed a little help with that.Um, Haley, what did you make
of that moment where he referred toas Cindy. I don't think it's that
(22:08):
much of a deal breaker. He'sprobably a little out of it and like,
yeah, there's only one girl's namefor him to remember. But I
don't know, I can't blame himthat much. What about you, Kristen.
It's like, yes, should heknow her name? Of course,
but look at him right, yeah, because of that, like look at
(22:32):
him. Look at the rest ofthe field. Look look at him.
He doesn't have to note my name. Yeah, let's get this guy some
more followers. I mean it's onlyfour or seven. He is what the
real Alan Santini? So he sauthAfrican. He's a writer, lives in
la oh for my writing and poetrythe edge of everything. Let me see
(22:56):
what are his poems? Looks likejust pictures of sunset. I'm I'm looking
him up now. I'm not followingBudge, but I will follow Alan.
It is the very marrow of lifethat we are made to feel. To
do so about my fin stuff. To be human is to be moved by
what we experience. It just throughthe very experience of that emotions prevail upon
(23:19):
us to feel everything fully. Ohmy gosh, that's too long. He
he buzzed his head, and I'mnot a fan. Oh yeah, really
hot obviously, but like, isit the quarantine haircut? Though? Like,
yeah, I think it's a quarantinehaircut. I don't know. Not
(23:44):
everyone should buzz at home, andI stand firm and I believe. Yeah,
Jason Hardick is looking real good withhis curls. I think. So
I had to give Ethan a hairhaircut a couple of weeks ago, and
it turned out and not terribly. That's good, honestly, proud of you.
Thanks. It could have been alot worse. It could have been
very bad, especially because he waslike, can you you just like fade
(24:06):
it out a bit too. I'moh, my god, what do you
want for me? The amount offaith that that man has in you?
I mean, wouldn't you have thatfaith in me? I mean I would
if it wasn't like your first timeever cutting man's hair, like like I
would, I would have faith inyou to get there. But if it's
like, hey, um, you'recutting my hair for the first time,
(24:27):
cool, I want to try faithtoo, I feel like just a light
fade very light. I mean,I'm I have every faith in you.
I'm I'm sure that you'll you'll beable to just become a full time hairdresser
if you want it. No,no, I'm not doing that because you
get those little hair slivers that makesme not die that I don't understand what
(24:49):
you mean. Like it's like apiece of like short hair will like get
in your finger and it hurts. It's like a hair sliver. Oh,
I don't you ever had that.I cool after this pod. Sometimes I'll
get them in like I don't knowif it's t M I I'll get them
in my broad It pokes up myboob and early hurts. You ever get
those? I cool? But Ialso just don't think I've been around like
(25:15):
short hair as much, um,because I'm I'm in the forever alone club,
so I don't have to worry aboutgrowth men's hair getting stuck in my
skin anyways, love, What elsedo you say about it? Um?
(25:38):
How did you like how they didthe elimination? Oh? Yeah, so
they have she has a tablet andthe guys get to watch it on what
she's doing, look like in realtime. They have their TV screen and
she's sitting there with Kristin Davis andswiping, moving drag and drop, moving
them over to the we need totalk column or what was the other column?
(26:02):
Just like they're safe, keep dating, keep on dating. So it
was like continue dating or talk andtalk could mean that she likes you or
that she doesn't like you, andI like that. I like it for
the first one, but then nowthey're going to know the deal and they'll
know they're not like in danger afterthat, So it's kind of a god
For the first one, I feela little dumb. What these guys dumb?
(26:26):
I like it because it provides likea positive connotation to we need to
talk, which I think. Ithink talking is important and it should be
like, yeah, sometimes a conversationgoes well and sometimes it goes poorly well,
and we saw that because she shekept four guys and then we need
to Talk column and that was Stuart. People who were Stuart, Um,
(26:52):
Philip, Tali, and Jason.Yeah. Um, so two of those
guys went home, Tali and aguy whose name I just read Philip,
because she just didn't see like aconnection with them. Stuart she wanted to
talk to just because she's like, hey, you impressed me this week.
You're on my mind. And thenJason, she actually wanted to have a
(27:12):
conversation with him to like clear somethings up. So I did really like
that. I think maybe the youknow, the iPad thing is a little
clunky, but I like that there'slike three sides to that column. Yeah,
I feel like she could have decidedto eliminate Jason too. So keeps
(27:32):
a little up in the open, out in the open and up in the
air of Okay, we had atalk, and if you didn't say something
that convinced her or made her feelbetter about her decision, than she could
said, Okay, we're not onthe same page, I'm gonna let you
go. So I did like that. We see sometimes on The Bachelor,
they'll somebody will talk to them, pull them aside before the rose ceremony.
I don't think it ever really makesa difference. So this actually lets them
(27:56):
have a little conversation. Let's see. I well, and I liked who
was it um during this time? That was like, I think all of
them are going home? Like there'sfifteen people only you think they're gonna send
all of them home right and immediatelythe same Maybe if the show is only
three weeks, that's true. MaybeI don't know what the show is,
(28:19):
but yeah, only had three threeweeks, but we'll see. I don't
know if they were caught up ornot, but um, yeah, what
did you think of how they announcedto the guys that they would have to
go um deposit a sample by waitersdelivering them specimen cups on a platter during
the suare I thought one of thoseguys at first was Harry from Too Hot
(28:44):
to handle until I look closer andI was like, yes, this is
his first La role. Amazing, but it was this was the most too
hot to handle a moment. Imean, how much would those two hot
to handle guys liked this kind ofvehicle arriving on set? They would be
so oh happy. Yeah, Iget why they had to do it.
I would say, this is obviouslykind of like the tackiest part of the
(29:07):
show. Without a doubt. Um, I just I'm I'm obviously I'm not
male. Um, I just don'tknow if I could ever jo and a
van knowing that there are six otherguys jangling in a van next to me.
I mean I think that, youknow, if you look at how
many men are you know, Jangoin all kinds of situations where they absolutely
(29:33):
should not be. I think thatthey be to get past it. You
put like a magazine in there.Yeah, and I think they'll be able
to get it done. I'm hopingthat the van is like sound proved between
the little rooms. Do you thinkthere was a sink in those rooms?
There had to be, Like Isaid, there wasn't. I heard him
say I couldn't find any hand sanitizerin there. So yeah, that will
(29:57):
the favorite part of all of thatthat, like, I wouldn't know if
their hands were clean. I mean, are any of our hands clean these
days? Yes, yeah, that'strue. That is true. I've always
had good hand hygiene, and nowI have excellent hand hygiene. I think
(30:19):
the most disturbing comment had to goto Budge, where he was the one
who was he was not going toBudge, he was not going to go
in, but then he said, well I like her, So this trailer
is gonna get a little messy. You I missed that. I missed it,
and I'm glad I missed it,and I'm upset with you Amy or
(30:42):
for letting me know about that. That is so disgusting and he should have
immediately been taken off of the showand like arrested by the FBI. And
the trail supposed to get me.I think it's supposed go in the cub.
So I feel like at thirty four, you should be well to jo
pretty cleanly, Like I'm sorry. You've got to have control over where things
(31:07):
are going. You just simply do. Whether that's solo or with a partner.
You need to know where it's gonnago. Yeah, Yeah, yeah,
m so then these samples were analyzed. Oh and somebody else said that
the bus had a rhythm going toit so well, and the bus also
had like a big logo on it. Do you think the show was sponsored
(31:27):
by like a specific fertility clinic orsomething if you on her fortility doctors.
So yeah, maybe he's all aboutgetting that publicity. She has great overies
according to him. That's true.Yeah, I think she already throws her
eggs right good on her. Youknow, if if you are thinking about
(31:49):
having a baby and you're not sure, freezing your eggs is a good option.
Caitlin Bristow talked about it because hergood friend Whitney from her season was
like an egg fertility specialist. Probablyfreeze those eggs and just like Mindy Kaling
said in The Mindy Project later babyokay yeah, or like Sheena from the
(32:09):
season of Vanderpump rolls freezing her eggs. I think it's a good thing to
talk about. You know, womenare supposed to keep their uteruses in the
dark, and we're bringing uter eyeto light. Yeah. I think the
like the tough thing is like doesinsurance cover it? Usually nottally, totally,
totally totally absolutely unfortunate, but yeah, definitely do if you can insurance
(32:32):
cover women's health better. Okay,do you need a new policymaker? Insurance
companies call me, they don't wantme. I would love to hear your
stories of working in the healthcare industryadvocating for women's health. Yeah, it
would just be like, why areyou stupid? Like be like, hey,
(32:52):
guess but I'm a person. Didyou know that I'm a person?
Has that occurred to you? Now? Do you want to give me healthcare?
Health care? Anyway? Um whatelse to say about the show?
What else we got? Well,we have the award for the right the
range swimmers range from seven million tothree hundred and seventeen million actors swimmers.
(33:15):
I think that was the motility. So they were analys and samples, volume,
concentration, motility, and morphology.Again, if they had been participating
in the past five days, itmight have affected these numbers. But they
didn't announce who was on the lowend. But they did award the high
end to um our friend Alans there. I don't want any shockers. Thank
(33:40):
you. If you see you seeAlan and you think ovaries, so it
may Yeah, he's got it all, so Yeah, I think he'll overcome
this next week when it looks likesomeone is going to reveal that he doesn't
know her name or he didn't knowher name. I feel like it's just
such an, it's such an easything to be, Like, Christy,
(34:05):
I literally just met you. I'mon TV for the first time. There's
so much going on. I wasso overwhelmed and I misspoken. I'm so
sorry, And I feel like anyreasonable person would be like, that's great.
Justly that happened again. I calledEthan the wrong name before in conversation.
I like, I called everybody thewrong name now, like I'm so
bad for being like Byanna, Byanna, Byanna, And then it's like,
(34:28):
oh, I'm talking to like Jenny. Yeah, so it happens like it
happens to all of us, Likenot that big of a deal whatever.
If somebody's trying to throw him underthe bus for that, like get a
life, dude, Yeah, theyknow he's like his competition. So and
he didn't say it to her face. It was just like, yeah,
they had just got Oh I wishthat he had said it to her face.
(34:50):
Can imagine It's even like Cindy andshe's like, excuse me who.
I want to see her get alittle more feisty. I think she has
it in her this episode, Iwould I would say she was a little
reserved maybe, Yeah, like shedidn't call out Tally at all or like
deflecting very much. She's nervous, right. I think that as she gets
(35:14):
more comfortable in this specific show environment, I think that she'll show more of
her personality. Yeah, I'm excitedfor that because I do like her.
I mean, yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited. I like the show
man, I liked I had agood time watching it. I'm excited to
watch it again. Like I don't, I don't know what's happened to me.
(35:35):
I'll admit I'm excited to see thesemen in suits have to set up
a campsite. Yeah, because nextweek they're showing up in suits. It's
like they're getting dropped off on Survivorwearing their you know. Yeah, Marcus
is like flashback, Yeah exactly, and now really excel in the camping.
Yeah, let's could bring out hisstrength. I wonder if I wonder if
(35:58):
he'll come up or if it's becausehe's like he's on a different network.
It won't They probably won't air itanyway, but yeah, yeah, no,
I'm excited to see what happens too. Um My question is, did
they sign away with these the rightsto their sperm? Is she competing for
like I don't really want you,but I just want to have the baby
on my own? Oh my god, I don't I I I can't imagine
(36:22):
anybody signing that show. But also, like when you like, I'm thinking
back, like the amount of paperworkit takes as like a single person to
go on, like Big Brother isso much paperwork and reading all of it
takes so long, and I imaginethis show must have like a much longer
(36:43):
uh you know contract because there's somany more like different ways that people could
be liable. And so maybe they'regiving up the the rights to their sperm.
Yeah, I will say Tali isan attorney and author, Um,
so maybe maybe the rights and hejust didn't care or like I don't know,
(37:07):
I mean, thankfully nobody wants hissperms, so he'll be fun.
I'm going back to this picture ofTrent. Is that a fake dog that
he has his picture? Yeah?Cat so interesting it's in this picture is
incredible I'm that's followed Trent do onInstagram. Trent, I have a hard
(37:30):
time believing he's thirty six. That'smy only I mean, I'm just hoping
that he tags the companies that makehis clothes. Yeah, what is his
job? Maybe he's the a designer. Sixty seven followers, he has more
than Allen. Oh his cat's nameis Yeah, he's a tennis inschector.
(37:52):
Horrible grumpy cat. His feet islike horrible, though. I don't think
I'll be able to follow him forlong. No, that's what you got
the fins to for. That's whereI follow the past and and like MTV
people, Okay, so here's thesituation and maybe you can help me.
I know you're against finstas so like, but like, I just don't understand
(38:14):
the purpose of the finnsta, Likeare you posting post follow I don't.
I don't post on my Finsta.I would get if other people wanted to
find purely to follow people who Iwant to keep up with, But I
don't want clogging up my own personalfeed. Like my finst I log into
(38:35):
like maybe every couple of weeks. And because a lot of these people,
like they have their accounts on privateso you'll follow them, so you can't
actually like go into a nice lurk, but I want to lurk, so
I just use my fins to tofollow them. Okay, So like the
people that I know that have finsdoes, but they can like post things
that they wouldn't post on their feedAnd I was just like, but that's
(39:00):
what your close friend story is for, is to post it just for those
few people. And they were like, yeah, but you can't post posts
that only your close friends can seeit. And I was like, but
why do you have to post postsI don't understand, And nobody has been
able to give me, like asaddest factory reason why they have to make
these posts. And then I justto fool all my friends on two accounts,
(39:22):
like I don't understand I would followtheir finsta on my fencety or what
about if you're madicine and you wantto comment on your own posts? Like
wait, so should I make ashould I make a fence to? Like
I've no not a fan page finsto, I already have an immense fan
(39:45):
base. You may or may notknow this, and I'm just people are
not going to catch a joke,They're gonna really come at me. They
like to be mad at you first. People love to be mad at me.
And it's fine because I find itso funny. So it's fine.
Um So No, I would notmake a curse and fan page finsta,
But like, should I make afin stuff for like I don't know,
(40:08):
talking shit and like following other finstas, like is there like a community?
Probably it's I it's just an Idon't know, I get it. It's
it's like weird, annoying. Thatis what I personally use my finstaff for.
Like I understood when Martha was like, I might get a fenstuff because
(40:28):
my like students keep finding me.That makes sense to me. That's like,
yeah, absolutely they should not beable to find you on social media.
But if you're just a right,no, you know what person,
I think I might agree that.I would just like if there was post
I didn't want everyone to see,I would just put them out of my
close friends post and I and that'swhat I do. Yeah, okay,
(40:51):
yeah, I get it. Ijust don't get it. And if somebody
can explain it in a way thatmakes sense, I would love for that
explanation. This is something that hasbeen like a burning thirst for knowledge in
my mind for like a year atthis point, and no one's been able
to make it make sense. Fairanyways, don't follow me on my fence
stuff, but you can't follow meon my real Instagram account at a strong
(41:13):
underscore any things. I'm just tellingpeople, Okay, might as well suck
it earlier, you know, earlyand often. Yeah, people are tuning
out. See. This is theproblem with us, Haley, is that
I'm always about to say the exactsame thing you're about to say. Yeah,
(41:34):
I don't think people are tuning outof this podcast. I think they
just never tuned him. No,I think that there are there are people
out there that are like Haley Strongis on a podcast I'm listening automatically delete.
No. I know because I amone of those people. Also,
we just don't get enough Amy inour lives to be honest, thank you,
(41:57):
thank you, because everyone wants todo video podcast and fairly that which
is like, yeah, see Amyhas been doing like the Finsta thing.
Yeah, or anybody Amy's like lastname, it's my It's like one of
my podcast. Yeah, I gotlike I gotta I gotta d M one
(42:20):
time being like, hey, whatTammy's last name? I'm like, I'm
not telling you. Thank you.Someone tag her in a Facebook group that
she wasn't in and I was like, someone takes her and if that's your
real last name, that's out there. And then you were like, don't
worry, it's your real last name. That's like cool, It's none of
my business. I just can't protected. Oh, I appreciate it. I
was like, they need to leaveher alone and Amy alone. Amy doesn't
(42:44):
want the spotlight. She just wantsto give you some knowledge and name.
I did want to ask. Iforgot about. One thing about this show
is that they had something I haven'tseen in these kind of shows before.
They brought in the family in likethese little weird yeah, so weird.
It's not just like her family likecontestants, family members, you know what.
(43:06):
Style. It was so weird. But I just loved. I love
the shaik guy. I need,I need to put this. I have
a question, So, Haley, what was it? What's your brother's name
again, Jeff? So imagine he'sa Geoff. If Geoff had like a
psychotic break and one on a realityTV show to get in a relationship or
something, and the camera crew comesto your house and they're like, tell
(43:28):
us about how Geoff is in relationship, how would you feel? I would
feel great. I would wear anevening gown, I would get my make
professionally done, and I would wearsome glasses the entire time. Um,
And then I would say that Idon't I don't even know what would I
(43:50):
say. I would just be like, listen, Jeff is great, but
his family is whacked. Maybe avoidthem he gave me because like if my
sister it was in that same situation, I would be like, honestly,
I've never liked anyone she's dated excepther husband. No, but like Jeff,
(44:10):
Jeff and I are interesting folk becauseum, neither of us particularly dated.
Um, we just stumbled into longterm relationships and here we are.
I don't know. I would justI don't know, Amy, did you
meet Jeff when you're down? Ican't remember? No, No, if
(44:30):
Jeff went on a reality TV showto date, like, I would be
so flabbergasted that I would just feellike, I'm so happy for Jeff opening
up to you know, opening uphis life to you guys. I don't
even know what I would know thelines to say. It would like,
come over you. I think you'dbe in the moment. Yeah, yeah,
if it really happened, you wouldknow exactly what to say, as
you always do. But I guessmaybe a little too hypothetical. I wanted
(44:54):
I would, I would personally wantto be visually striking. I mean,
you don't need to try that. You're right, You're no, Haley,
you are. I mean to stophearing this about your nose, because it's
a beautiful nose. I like mynose. It's just like my nose enters
(45:20):
a room first, Like that's fine, that's just what it is. Like
you act like you have this crazybeak coming out of your face and you
don't. It's a big nose,thick nose, and I broke it twice,
so I have a prominent nose.Just don't don't have like that.
You just don't have a button nose. But it's like a gorgeous I'm the
(45:40):
same as you know, just fine, because I'm not a delicate person,
like I feel like my nose islike it it fits me. I'm fine
with it. It's fine with it. When the subside in grade eight told
me I had a big nose andbig feet. No, but I'm twenty
eight now, we're fine, We'vemoved past it. I think you're Instagram
profile picture is like perfect for thisshow. If if Jeff was on it
(46:04):
and they were you could hold Jasperand just give your beautiful floral skirt and
yeah, you're in the perfect Sodo you think if that this show doesn't
work out, Um, Christie willget a cat instead? M Probably.
I hope. I hope she justhas to be I hope she's like,
you know what, I'm having ababy. I want her. I want
(46:25):
her to not end up with anyof these a holes and yeah, I
just want her to be happy withher life and her choices. And I
feel like I'm probably not going tohappen with any of these men. Yeah,
do you think she'll pick markers?I feel like they vibe mhm.
I mean I do feel like theyvibed. I just yeah, I just
want her to be happy. Hehas that right that the edit right now
(46:47):
where you don't like he's not likethe total like the front runner, but
he's not like one of the losers, so that that could work. He
could be he could be in therunning. Um, I just don't see
how she doesn't end up choosing Allen'sthe hottest. I mean, how could
you have the option of Alan andchoose anybody else unless she picks Trent because
(47:09):
she wants to borrow his clothes, which I think is respectable. Trent is
the one who he's really focused on, and his parents are really focused on
keeping the last name going because he'sthe only boy in the last name could
die out if he doesn't have kids. Yeah, I mean, that's like
a real thing that people get veryconcerned about. Like my dad was the
(47:34):
only son in his like family ofsix children, and then he did not
have any sons, and so it'slike no more mckinnis is. But you
could give I I mean, Iargue that I have my cats, Stephie
and Vetus mckinnis, and like, yeah, they're never gonna have kids,
but like, yeah, LEAs helives on, I I assume that if
(48:00):
we ever have a kid, it'lljust be a hyphenated name, so the
Strong bloodline will we'll continue. It'slike, I have a go why should
take Strong? That's what I've beensaying for I'm not kidding, Like I'm
not either. Wait, well,I wouldn't if you met somebody whose last
(48:22):
name was Strong, you wouldn't wantthat last name. No, it's great
anyway. So our kid, whatmy dream is for our kid's name to
have a longer name than body.Because I have two middle names. So
I want for kids to have tumiddle names and for the kids to have
two last names. What fun wouldthat be? I would have a lot
of joy. Ethan would not.Well, Ethan can get over it because
(48:44):
it's up to you. Well,Ethan has a middle letter and that's it,
just the letter letter, just theletter the letter Ethan G. Yeah.
And the G doesn't stand for anything, like I guess, like if
you really want to go like diginto it, like I would assume it
(49:07):
stands for his father's name, whichis Gary. But like they just had
they just didn't want to put inGary. They were like, just G.
Well, his sister's middle name isalso the letter G. That's insane,
Oh my god. What Yeah.So when we were in when we
went to Ireland, we had togo through customs and Ethan went at first
and the guy was like, really, just the letter G. And Ethan
(49:30):
was like yeah, and then Igo up and he goes, well,
at least she has enough middle namesfor the both of you. Just like
short middle names, like my middlenames are Elizabeth and Patricia. Like I
got a lot of letters going on, I've got I've got Ellen Michelle.
I like that there's a lot ofells Kristen, Ellen, Michelle mckinness.
(49:51):
Yes, it was nicely though.I like it. I like a good
flow. I still can't go orVitus mcinness is like the perfect name.
I knew your cat was Vitis, but I didn't put it with your last
saying before. It's so good.I mean, and I didn't even name
him. He just came to melike that and really just added yeah us,
yes, wow. I sorry.I was naming my cats after survivors,
(50:15):
but I didn't. I just Inever questioned it. I was like,
what what survivor is Stephy like StephanieLagrosa. I mean, I love
in my mind, I like tothink that she. Oh he got him
(50:35):
like peak vetus popularity. You know, was born like the spring after Second
Chances aired, So it's possible thatthat's where his name came from. Um,
we actually kept it name, likeour cat's name was Jasper and we
kept it. He was him andall of his siblings were named after Twilight
(50:58):
characters. Well, and that's probablywhy Scali stands your cats so much,
because he likes jazz Forer the bestout of all the vampires, even though
I repeatedly tell him the jazz Forerwas a Confederate soldier in there for a
reason. Oh that's a good point. But the name is good. But
the name is great. Yeah.Interesting, I should I go Should I
(51:20):
go back and Retwilight again? No? I shouldn't. Let's read it together,
Haley and must talk about it onmy pretty excellent call. That is
what we're doing. Yeah, Igot there coming out. I just thought
a headlined by that. Yeah, she's she's finally releasing the first book,
but from Edward's Perspective, which shewas working on forever ago, called Midnight
(51:43):
Sun and then please, well no, it just got announced that it's going
to happen. What was the novellashe wrote that got released then? Was
it like Renesmi's Perspective or something. This is the first I'm hearing about any
novella Floren. There was a Meyer. But so what happened with Midnight Sun
(52:04):
is that she had sent out thefirst twelve chapters, like a couple of
different versions to a few different people, and someone leaked the first twelve chapters
and she was like, this issuch an invasion of my primacy, on
my trust, and I just simplycan't proceed with writing this book anymore.
And it was like pretty devastating tolike sixteen year old me. That's what
(52:25):
I'm thinking. Okay, I actuallygenuinely love the host by Stephanie Meyer.
Cool. Sorry, okay, nocontinue, I interrupted it. So that
was pretty much it. So anyways, she was like, I'm not going
to write it. And then nowduring like Quarantine, it was like surprised
this book is going to get released, and she did like a countdown on
her website and her fans. I'llcrash the website because people still bad taste
(52:51):
and care about what she has tosay. Um, I don't. I
don't know. So that's finally goingto come out, and I feel like
it's going to be bad, butI will read it. And I'm sorry
everyone who came here to hear aboutLabor of Love and got this is dead.
Yes, all those twenty three people. I want to cover the episode
now we're just in free fall mode. Yeah, or anything else we can
(53:15):
like about, like, person, what have you been up to? You've
been talking about sequester and stuff? How did how did this weekends? How
did the Survivor sequester? Go?Survivor sequester was so much fun. It
had an iconic boot order, likethe first couple of boots was kind of
(53:35):
like, oh, that's not whoI wanted to go home? Can you
for us? Like, okay,if you haven't watched the Survivor sequester and
you're planning to two note for thenext three to six minutes, but come
back, person who got booted?Tell me? I know Nick Myrono went
out first, and I think Abbyone second, right, So Dean Um
(53:57):
like DK Chilling and Nick my Roanowere the first two boots, and that
was deeply devastating because they were lookingvery cute, especially Nick Nick was looking
very good. So I was disappointedUm. But then things got corrected and
the final like the final set likeeight was like bright Face, Karishma,
(54:19):
Lauren Beck, Kelly Wentworth, Abbey, Maria um Kellen, oh my forgetting
oh Genjutia and Krishma did you say? And so like the final four was
Abby, Maria, Kelly, Wentworth, Karishma, and Kellen, can you
imagine if that's that was an actuallife we lived. I lived. I
(54:42):
honestly like I couldn't handle it ona sequester Mini and it's like let a
one in a season of Survivor. And so yeah, Kellen is in Spain.
So by the end of this it'sliterally full day late for her as
it's like eight in the morning andit started at two am for her and
everyone. Abbey Maria was so wasted, like it was actually too much.
(55:02):
Like at one point Bryce asks hisjury question and She's like, we have
one thing in common, and that'spurple, and that's why you should vote
for me. I was incredible. In her final jury speech, Abby Maria
is like I saw Kellen and Itook her under my wing and I protected
her in this game. I'm Kellenwon six to one. Obviously, Kelly
(55:28):
Wantworth voted for Abby Maria. Howdo you not like she'll literally find you
and murder you. Yeah, Andit was it was just incredible, And
there was like a couple of twiststhat I think maybe could use a little
work shopping, but Audrey's really greatat actually taking that feedback and taking it
into accounts. I think that that'llthat'll come together. At the final five,
(55:50):
they did a jigsaw puzzle for herimmunity and Kelly won and they had
to stop halfway through and restart itbecause Krishma had technical difficulties and Abby Maria's
puzzle got worse the second time shetried to do it, like, I
don't know what it's like a newgirl when Winston is trying to do a
puzzle and she went, it's likethis is an edge piece. Anybody can
see it. Like it was sofunny and so entertaining, and I that's
(56:16):
when I highly highly recommend people goback and watch if they're going to go
back for any of them, becauseit's incredible. For you are you were
on the arhap one right? Iwas on the arhap one. I went
home essentially in a rock draw asthe second person in jury because I tried
(56:36):
to save Robert and I didn't flipmy vote to vote out Jordan Kayleish and
I should have just slipped my voteand that Kayish, Sorry Jordan, Well,
I was rubbing. But what Ididn't know is that POI and Leanna
we're trying to get Jordan out thatround. Uh oh no, they were
(56:58):
trying to get robbed out that roundand didn't want to get out Jordan,
and like they obviously Jordan was avalue to them because he couldn't get my
name out of his mouth. AndI are you teamed up with the Showmans?
I definitely was, but I thinkthat it was getting to the point
where they were like, we needto have like people that are more maybe
(57:21):
tractable a little bit. I'm notreally sure, but all I know is
that if I had flipped my voteand Rob goes home, then it was
basically like me and Jenny aum wouldhave been the only people actually trying to
split up the Showman, right,And because I like I worked with them,
but then at the start of JerryI almost got Pooya out, but
Leona made a move on Shannon atthe exact same moment, So like I
(57:45):
was at that point of again likeokay, we need to split them up
because I cannot like they're not goingto take me to final two, so
like, obviously gotta get rid ofone of them, and it just it
didn't work out. So like Robwent home, and I feel like me
and Jenny to Rob on the wheelspin that they do instead of Rocks.
It was either me or Jenny going. So my game was over at that
(58:06):
point, no matter what happened. So you'll you'll live and you learn and
then you go. Sometimes you gohome first on the Big Brother sequester and
it's fine. You know what thatwas? That was That was a setup.
That was not okay for you,That was not that was rude for
everyone. It was rude. Butthat's it's okay. I I've come to
(58:28):
terms. That's my thing is.I guess that I was a little bit
more like vitriolic of a sequester too, So I'm glad you weren't exposed.
Yeah, honestly, that one waslike quite talked sick. So I'm okay
with having not played the full amountof that. Yeah, early on season
thirty nine, it's like you guyslaugh. Yeah, I would love to
(58:50):
watch them, but I am tired. I'm like Liquidated made like a page
where you can watch all all thefeeds back, like on an archive,
so you can, like you couldgo and watch it back at a later
date and like pause and leave orskip rounds or do whatever like the other
(59:10):
thing too. If you're watching itlive, you can absolutely watch like the
first two or three rounds and thenleave for a while and then come back
and you'll be fine. Yeah, you don't have to sit for the whole
time. I'll think about it.Um, is there anything else about this
episode or anything else? I can'tthink the episode. Then I can't wait
(59:31):
to walk. I can't wait tokeep watching this. Yeah, I'm excited
to see what happens. So I'mexcited to see them go on actual dates.
Are they're going to do that typicalstuff that they do in the Bachelor
where they have to like have liketest their parenting skills. I think can
have those kind of dates where theytake care of dolls, and that's something
they do on Love Island in theUK. Yeah, they have. It's
(59:52):
always at the end they all haveto watch a baby, and then it'll
be like, Okay, you guysare doing great as a couple. Now
the women are going to drinking andthe men have to take care of the
babies. Always, always, alwaysgood, And so I hope that they
do that and do it well. But I also think it'd be really funny,
(01:00:12):
with this being like a low budgetFox show, if they were like,
okay, you have to you haveto watch an egg for a couple
of days and that would be ababy or like a bag of flower.
That's hilarious. I'd like to breakout like the Fox loves those, like
secret cameras or something like have thatsecret camera in the fatherhood room so then
she can see Jason just start likegetting trashed again and somebody like throwing their
doll on the ground or you know, just setting it inside. I think
(01:00:36):
that'd be good. The lie detector. Maybe they'll break out that that's a
Fox staple. Well, Fox lovesa lie detector. What want? I
was young about like the dads whowould try and find their daughters a match
or something. Yeah, for awhile, I was obsessed with married by
Mom and Dad on t LC.That was it was just like arranged marriages.
(01:01:00):
Yeah. Yeah, I'm still obsessedwith merrid at first Sight. So
it's kind of similar because now they'rejust leaning into like pairing up people that
are not good together. So itjust becomes oh no, well now I
need to watch it. Yeah, good man, I need to get back
into that. I'll get there.I mean, we have time, we
(01:01:22):
do, truly have. I havenothing but time. Honestly, just started
like a notes on my phone ofjust like, okay, all these shows
that I can you know, ifI have to come back to this list,
like in that desperate moment where I'mlike I need something to watch because
I'm still stuck at home, Idefinitely list going of shows to check out
that I haven't yet. So anyperson, I usually like to ask Hayley
(01:01:43):
for a recommendation, but anything thatyou want to recommend that you've been enjoying
besides this show. Okay. SoI've been doing a lot of like full
series like rewatches during this time.So I did a full rewatch of Mindy
Project, which was very fun,and a full rewatch of New Girl nice
um. And then now I'm justdoing for the first time, I'm watching
(01:02:06):
Avatar the Last Airbender because it's onNetflix now cool and I've heard nothing but
great things about that show. NiceHayley, you discovered anything new? Have
no we I um Ethan has beenreally enjoying The Challenge when we've been watching
it, so I wanted to goback and watch a couple of seasons of
that. So we're watching um TheChallenge Free Agents right now and he's liking
(01:02:30):
it. Um That is the firstseason. Ryan and Ali started podcasting about
um. So I'm kind of likeexcited to go back and listen to their
podcast, so that'll be a lotof fun. Um. But also I've
been watching nothing really. My soupguy every week tells me I need to
watch Below Deck, but I'm gonnado that eventually. Maybe I love you
of a soup guy. Yeah, well he's just like a you know,
(01:02:52):
it's a nice soup takeout place intown, and I go every week for
Lasagnia soup and so now our bestfriends. That sounds really good. And
the one day he was like, yeah, like have you ever heard of
like like, hey you and hewas like embarrassed Italian and I was like,
sir, I am hey, You'sbiggest proponent. And also I have
(01:03:14):
the world's trashiest taste in television,so nothing will surprise me. That's actually
um. My sister texted me afew days ago and said, are you
watching this labor of love show?I feel like it's right up your alley
and I have never been so offendedin my life. Yeah, Ethan was
not willing to watch this one withme. Oh I think Ethan would like
(01:03:35):
this. Think tell you that Isaid to give it a shot. I
will and uh, yeah, Ithink I thought it was good. I
had good time watching it. Ithink the concept scared him from away.
But yeah, episode they're campaiging likehe'll get into it. I think that,
Yeah, the specimen sampling probably idea. But that's like a challenge on
(01:04:00):
reality TV in twenty twenty is likewho had the highest firm count? Like
I can't believe what this year isand what this world is and like what
is going on? And they gota trophy for it too. Here's here's
did everyone else get a like participationtrophy because they should have. I don't
know that's against h participation trophies.Okay, but here's the thing. People
(01:04:29):
love being like all millennials and theyget participation trophies. And I would like
to know who do you think gaveus the trophies? You we didn't ask
for it. I feel like theywould be all about a participation trophy.
Yeah, true, good plan.Person? Where can people find you on
the internet? So if if theyhaven't been thoroughly scared away, um,
(01:04:51):
they can find me on Twitter andInstagram at Kirsten said what, they can
find me on twitch. Twitch dotTV's lash person said, what where I've
started doing family Game Night streams, which have been pretty fun. We've just
done one so far. UM.I also have started for that. UM.
We played Katan and Can't Stop thispast week and I think it's like
(01:05:14):
the main one we do. Butlike when you find a game that you
will think, Haley probably has playedthis and knows how to play it,
call me I lose a kit,do not call me for Yeah, I
didn't think that it was like yourkind of thing, but I would absolutely
love to have you on one ofmy Game Nates streams. So well,
if I can find a way firstto just play Crazy Eights online, absolutely
(01:05:36):
we will do that. I'll theGame of Life. I thought that's the
way you could do that. Ohmy god, I love the Game of
Life. Yea too okay, perfect, So we'll get you on for that.
UM. I also am podcasting onkowski cast about Riverdale. It is
the off season, but we havea series we've been doing where we take
in someone who's never watched Roverdale andwe give them a random episode to watch,
(01:05:59):
and then we basically spoil the restof the series for that person who
was never going to watch the showto begin with. We've done it in
my bloom sell me Josh Wiggler upmy alley. Please come on the next
two we have coming up our AliLasher and then Colin Stone Um outstanding.
Yes, would love would love tohave you on as well. Amy.
That goes for you also good.Um. It's very fun and it never
(01:06:25):
gets old, like telling people aboutlike oh yeah, and then they were
in a cult that was harvesting organsand people are like what like it's it's
always fun and nothing about the showexcept that was based on the comic.
People need to check that out aswell. Sorry for the longest plugs of
all time. No, we loveit. You can find me on Twitter
and Instagram at each Strong Underscore, and you can check out my blog strom
