Speaker 1 (00:57):
Everybody's talking about that show is crazy and they love
of input and all that kind of stuff, So be
sure and play with that. You want to do a bonehead,
let's start out with this bonehol. I love this guy
doctor and I cannot pronounce it. He's uh he's Japanese doctor,
doctor she egen something okay, uh he he uh waited
(01:19):
for eight minutes after they had put a patient under
anesthesia for him to go in the next room and
have sex with the nurse. Oh God wrapped her up.
Eight minutes back in there and Alfred. I want him relaxed.
I want you know, I don't want him tense.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
If I'm a person that's being cut open. Hey, absolutely
want my doctor to have all stress removed from his
life before he starts to slice me.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
Kennedy Clinton, I want those guys, the guy care in
the suitcase with the numbers man the button. I want him.
I want him chill baby. So yeah, Monica, whoever I
mean you know, Kennedy.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
Monica, Yeah, if you're deterred, just trying to decide whether
you're gonna drop a nuke on Cuba to attack the Russians,
I need I need you to have a clear mind.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
I need you relaxed. That's right here, I are all right.
Here's the uh here's the top five you know, Autumnus,
here's the top five cities to visit, uh that they
say autumn is beautiful in and the leaves and all
that kind of stuff. Number five is uh bit of Ford, Massachusetts.
(02:34):
Number four dove Field, Massachusetts. Number three is Bennington, Vermont.
Number two is new Haven, Connecticut. Number one Odessa, Texas.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
No, no, come on, split second, I.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Had you from Putnam, Connecticut. So Connecticut, Vermont, Massachusetts, as
you would guess, beautiful up in there with the leaves
and everything.
Speaker 2 (03:00):
Prized.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Don't they say, like, isn't it Wisconsin or Minnesota that
have all the old covered bridges that you drive through?
Speaker 1 (03:08):
Which one is that? Remember? It was, Uh, I want
to stay Minnesota because of the late Yeah, I don't.
I may be wrong on that completely. I don't know.
I bought a lot of Model A forwards out of Wisconsin.
There's a lot of folks. They garaged them and so
they stayed. You know, they didn't have that many months
where they could drive them, so they would put them
in the garages or in the barns, you know, during
(03:29):
the winters, and so they were all fairly good shape.
You know. I bought maybe four or five out of
Wisconsin over the years. Let's see, here's things people find
attractive in other people. This list whom is going to
surprise you, and it's actually pretty good for you. I
lose out all the way around, as you can imagine.
Number five is the face, so you were a handsome devil.
(03:51):
I have of I love like Ernest Bordonine. So number four,
here's another one. I lose on smell women and men.
There's women and men find attractive all right, So don't
know what the percentage is. Usually when they do these
these when I see these groups like this, it's usually
two thousand people are above that they surveyed. I always
(04:14):
remember that, so it ain't us making it. Number three
good health, and I know that for a fact. I
had an old radio partner and she told me, she
said the sexiest thing that she liked was no matter
what the guy looked, liked as long as he looked
like he took care of himself, you know, he worked out.
And so they women like that. And I'm sure guys
obviously the same way. Number two once again, smell it
(04:38):
was on there twice. They said it was like very
very important, you stink, you know.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
Common sense.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
But also I see that's that's one where I mean,
I'm incredibly you know, hygienic, but yeah, also a habitual
cigarette smoker, and that tobacco Yeah, that can that can
weigh me down.
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Sometimes You've never smelled like cigarettes to me though never
I had a girlfriend wants to smoke, and not once
that that smelled cigarettes on her. Not one.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
I think I'm just immune to it, so I don't
smell it any and I've got the number allergic.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
So no, I've never caused you any trouble.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
Well, I appreciate it is you put in the extra
effort in number one. You want to guess what number
one is?
Speaker 2 (05:24):
Uh? Something lame like intelligence voice.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Oh, you're gonna rock it? Yeah, either.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Look, I've seen some I've seen a lot of people
in radio that I think are probably relying on number
one there over anything physical appearance, because.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
We used to say no matter that the better they said,
the better they sounded, the uglier they were or something.
I can't remember how it went.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
It's the it's the I mean, it's the same trope
of like calling you know one of those one nine
hundred sex in the nineties. You're talking to some giant,
giant woman, there's no question, but the voice is so sexy.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Radio is very similar to that.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Did you have a favorite that you like to call
miss missus?
Speaker 2 (06:18):
Chloe uh, miss Cleo, Cleo.
Speaker 1 (06:23):
Just cleo, listen. I got a lot of lists today,
so I thought this would be another good one. Here
This is ten. I saw this ten things that make
you Happy? All right? So I mean once again, they
just they went to people and they said, what do
you think makes you happy? And it's it's a uh,
it's just stuff you do. It will make you feel
(06:44):
better about yourself, all right. So this is kind of cool.
Number ten was give back the generous when you give
the and that's true, man, and much of the charity
word you and I have done. It just feels great
when you help people when you're on the way home
from some of event, you know, make a wish or
something like that. I always just it just made me
feel great, you know. And you had to balance that
(07:06):
with sick children, you know.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
And I just always just as as cliche as it
does sound, it really really does feel feel good to
give back when you can. There's especially if you can
make it routine, if it's not just a once a
year deal, because then you can really see, you know,
some amount of some level of impact you're actually having.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Right. Here's another one. Build connections that aren't profitable in
other words, you're not just meeting and being buddies with
somebody from business. It's somebody you meet and you just
you're like pals with them, you know, for no real reason.
Number eight a nature walk, just walking in nature. I
have a dirt road that goes up to my shop,
and I could cut across and go up to it,
(07:49):
but I walked this little dirt road around take the
long way, just because it's just I like the little road.
You know.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
It's kinda see we're lucky over here, you know. I,
my wife and I live in downtown San Antonio, so
we'll go walk the Mission Trail. So it's a nature
walk that connects all of the old Spanish missions down there.
I mean it's like, again, you might not think you
would enjoy it, but there's something about it that your
body is providing you, you know, providing you good, good feelings,
(08:20):
good emotions without you even realizing it.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
That starts at the Alamo and goes to the old
beer refinery down past the brewery. Yeah, yeah, the brewery. Yeah,
and that was out of business. It was who was it,
Lone Star, Lone Star Brewery, Yeah, And they turned that
into a business and hotels and all.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
And shopping trying to they got how many missions?
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Is it? It's like five missions, right?
Speaker 2 (08:50):
Six?
Speaker 3 (08:51):
I always forget if it's five plus the Alamo or
if it's six all together, and it'll.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Be your Mexican Ellis Island if you're trying to figure
out out you know what, okay, what this is where
all Mexicans are. The most of the Mexicans came up
through Mexico into the US went through these missions. From
what I understand from my history on that, right, Am
I close to that?
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Or I? Yeah? It was well, it was uh, you
know as the as the Spanish were, you know, settling
missionaries and building building the missions to you know, connect
all of their different little uh, you know communities that
were popping up, and then they were bringing in the
people like you're saying that we're coming in uh, you know,
(09:34):
basically as immigrants moving into the country, but doing it
through the you know Spanish.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Uh uh, Let's see what they.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Were safe and everything, you know where they mean.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Their own San Jose, San juan A Spada.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
And then the Alamo.
Speaker 1 (09:51):
So five five, okay, See I was right on one
thing for once, so I was let's see, uh, the
nature uh practice of faith. That's probably a good idea
if you're you know, can't hurt, no canner.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (10:08):
I pray a lot at court. It's like remember cool
hand loop. I know you don't I know you don't
owe me anyway. You got a man and help me
many cards in a while, you know.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
I pray every time I see the flashing lights. That's
where you go.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Yeah, my lucky court suit. Number six a physical act.
I'm not sure what that means. I'm guessing if you
did some kind of exercise or maybe you did some
physical act like to me, you did some work or something.
To number five, join a club.
Speaker 3 (10:41):
Uh number four, you're gonna say, join a cult, and
I was like, well changeable, let's see.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Uh check on your health. Go to the doctor and
get your health checked. You will feel better about yourself
hopefully when you walk out there. So that's good. Spend
money on a loved one, not you, but a loved one,
so that's awesome. Uh. Number two, be nice as of course,
(11:11):
it's that simple roadhouse until it's time not to be nice. Yeah,
I'm somewhere quoting Roadhouse. Patrick Swayzey would be proud. Number
one let's see, Uh, keep your mind and body active
as long as you're doing stuff, you know, whatever it is,
it keeps you, keeps you happy, it makes you happy,
(11:32):
keeping happy.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
So you know, it was like, that's one of those
ones that keeps popping up on on lists like this.
Like we were I remember a couple of months ago,
we were doing a list of like the best things
you can do as you're aging, as you're getting older,
and number one or number two on that list was
keep your mind active, Like do crossword puzzles, do absolutely
you know, any kind of games or like the word
(11:56):
a word of the day or anything like that. It
seems like, seems like keeping your mind active is pretty
important in the grand scheme of things.
Speaker 1 (12:05):
And then you're just not on your phone and you're
not on the computer just mindlessly.
Speaker 2 (12:09):
Yeah, waste a little time and brain power.
Speaker 1 (12:12):
How's their time? You want a couple of boneheads before
we get out of here?
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Oh, hit me with them.
Speaker 1 (12:17):
We got time, Okay, let me do a couple and
then we'll get out of here. Wesley Silva, he has
a support animal that he carries everywhere. He went into
the Pennsylvania Walmart and he's and they had to call
the cops because he had a five foot alligator that
was his that's his support animal. Yeah, yeah, you can't.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
Whatever you've gone through, I'm sorry you have the PTSD
from it, but you can't bring a five foot long
alligator nowhere.
Speaker 1 (12:48):
I don't take that anywhere, you know. Let's see, Oh,
this is pretty crazy. Virginia Beach. They had an incredible
explosion boom sound, but they have yet to find anything
that got blown up. They've the police was called from
(13:09):
like multiple, you know, nine to one one, multiple across
Virginia Beach, Virginia. I have some buddies of mine, utor
car guys up there. I called them and uh and
they said, yeah, they ain't figured out what it was.
They don't nobody knows what. But they said, you know,
they were looking for like a house or something. There's
no debris. These hadn't found anything yet.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Yeah, like some kind of you know, government hypersonic flight
testing that triggered like a sonic boom or something. Maybe
I don't know know, Yeah, we need to we need
to follow up on that. Except Google alerts for Virginia Beach.
See if we can't get an answer.
Speaker 1 (13:48):
I did watch something kind of like this, and I'll
get out of here with this one. There was a
German family, uh in uh. It was a guy's twentieth
birthday party and they went to put the sparklers on
the cach and accidentally put fireworks. They pought it lit
them and there is video of this cake blowing up
(14:08):
in the kitchen. I mean it lets go and they're
hitting the ceiling and it's just you know, I mean
just awesome. I mean I hate that, but nothing. It
didn't burn the house. I nobody was hurt, so you know,
but that's I mean, that's like a three Stooges movement
right there.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Birthday. He'll never forget, that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
All Right, that's hit be sure and joined Puma the
Night on the Sports Cave Live Happening to Night
