I consible to support go to wwwdot mber to the The distinctive theater of
this case has not been the silenceas such, but the reiteration and the
(00:35):
repetition of genocidal speech throughout every sphereof state in Israel will remind the Court
of the identity and authority of thegenocidal insiders, the Prime Minister, the
President, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of National Security, the Minister
(01:00):
of Energy and Infrastructure, members ofthe Kanasset, senior army officials and food
soldiers. Genocidal utterances are therefore notout in the fringies, they are embodied
in state policy. The intent todestroy is plainly understood by soldiers on the
(01:22):
ground. It is also fully understoodby some within the Israeli society, with
the government facing criticism for allowing inany age to gather on the basis that
it is recounting on its promise tostarve Palestinians. Any suggestion that Israeli officials
did not mean what they said,or were not fully understood by soldiers and
(01:47):
civilians alike to mean what they saidshould be rejected by this court. The
evidence of genocidal intent is not onlychilling. It is also overwhelming and controvertible.
The evidence is overwhelming and incontrovertible.Welcome, ladies, gentlemen, and
gender not conforming individuals to another episodeof The Benjamin Dixon Show. Today is
(02:09):
Thursday, January eleventh, twenty twentyfour. Thank you so much for joining
me. Today's episode is dedicated tothe case that has been brought by the
Nation of South Africa against Israel, the case of genocide taken to the International
Court of Justice in the Hague,Netherlands. As we saw the seventeen justices
(02:31):
on the case take to the benchand listened to that black South African attorney
by the name of Timbeka Ungu Kaitobias he testified to the evidence that he
has and the South African coalition anddelegation they have outlined before the ICJ some
eighty four pages of evidence of genocide, not just actions of genocide, but
(02:57):
the language and the intent, therhetoric, even the scriptural references that were
used by Benjamin Netan Yahoo and thenrepeated by soldiers that alluded to the Old
Testament story of l Amelek, whereevery woman, child, man, and
animal in this biblical story were killed. This was the sentiment that I had
(03:24):
all but forgotten that Benjamin Netan Yahoosaid that I'm doing today's episode because I
think it's important that we understand theactual evidence, the truth. So I
want you to hear for yourself.Listen, Madame President and distinguished members of
the Court, it is a privilegeto appear before the Court on behalf of
(03:45):
South Africa. I will address Israel'sgenocidal intent. At this stage, the
Court is not required to determine thatthe only inference could be drawn from the
available evidence is genocida to order provisionalmeasures, as that is, to decide
the merits. Rather, the assessmentof the existence of an intent to destroy
(04:13):
could be made by the Court onlyat the stage of the examination of the
merits. That sum of the allegedacts may also amount to atrocities other than
genocide does not exclude the finding ofplausible acts of genocide. Madame President,
(04:35):
South Africa is not alone in drawingattention to Israel's genocidal rhetoric against Palestinians in
Gaza. Fifteen United Nations Special rapertoiresand twenty one members of the United Nations
(04:55):
Working Groups have warned that what ishappening in Gaza reflects a genocide in the
making and then of that intent todestroy the Palestinian people and occupation. Israel
has a genocidal intent against the Palestiniansin Gaza. That is evident from the
(05:21):
way in which Israel's military attack isbeing conducted, which has been described by
miss Hassim as c It is systematicin its character and form, the mass
displacement of the population of Gaza headedinto areas where they continue to be killed,
(05:43):
and the deliberate creation of conditions thatcoulte lead to a slow death unquote.
There is also the clear pattern ofconduct the targeting of family homes and
civilian infrastructure, laying waste to vastareas of Gaza, and the bombing,
(06:04):
shelling and sniping of men, womenand children where they stand. The destruction
of the health infrastructure and lack ofaccess to humanitarian assistance. These two elements
alone are capable of evidencing Israel's genocidalintent in relation to the whole or part
(06:27):
of the Palestinian population in Gaza. Now that's just the beginning of his speech,
but I want you to take aminute to pause and reflect on what
was just given, in addition toeighty four pages of evidence and more evidence
that is to come. The wholesaletargeting of infrastructure that is in the civilian
(06:47):
structure, to be sure, thatis one of the definitions of genocide.
The displacement of large populations of peopleother definition of genocide. But when you
add on top of it the intentionaltargeting of civilian homes and the sniping you
(07:11):
heard them correctly, the sniping ofcivilians where they stand, where they stood.
All of these things combined to showa very grim reality of what is
happening in Gad's a right now. There's no if hands of butts about it.
Anyone who is justifying this has lostthe plot, or they never had
(07:34):
the plot to begin with. Anyonewho could look at the images of rolls
and rolls and rolls of children laidout being prepared for burial, you simply
cannot look at the indiscriminate bombing, the dropping of two thousand pound bombs on
(08:00):
civilian centers, the targeting of refugeecamps, the viciousness and the cruelty of
the Benjamin in Yahoo regime has farsurpassed any of our expectations. I understood
immediately when the narrative of the beheadedbabies was spread around, I knew without
(08:24):
a doubt that this was going tobe a massacre of the innocence that live
in Gaza no longer because Gaza isno longer habitable listening more, there is
an extraordinary future in this case thatIsrael's political leaders, military commanders and persons
(08:46):
holding official positions have systematically and inexplicit terms declared the genocidal intent, and
these statements are then reputed by soldierson the ground in Gaza as they engage
in the destruction of Palestinians and thephysical infrastructure of Gaza. We show this
(09:09):
third element next. Israel's special genocidalintent is rooted in the belief that,
in fact, the enemy is notjust the military wing of Hamas or indeed
Hamas generally, but is embedded inthe fabric of Palestinian life in Gaza.
(09:33):
On seven October, in a televisedaddress, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Letanyau declared
war on Gaza, and I quoteIsrael had started clearing out the communities that
have been infiltrated by terrorists, andhe warned of an unprecedented price to be
(09:54):
paid by the enemy. That's theframing, right, that has been the
framing since day one. They haveto root out the terrorists. But when
you have targeted the entirety of Gaza, first northern Gaza, are now even
the southern portions, the places wherethe Palestinians were told to go and seek
refuge, they bombed a refugee campwith a two thousand pound bomb. When
(10:18):
you connect this with the language andthe rhetoric that was given from day one,
and then you connect the dots ofthe atrocities that have been committed since
October seventh, there is a clearline from the intention to commit genocide to
the twelve thousand children who are deadnow the twenty thousand plus civilians who have
(10:43):
been killed. Benjamin Netan Yahoo andthe far right wing Liquud Party of Israel,
the hardliners, they fully believed andexpected to be able to get away
with genocide. Now, fortunately weare powerless in stopping the active genocide that's
(11:05):
happening as we speak. But BenjaminNetanyahu in the far right wing Liqueued Party,
they believe that they could get awaywith it out without being held accountable
because of the United States cover Ifor one, am grateful that they have
found out that the world is actuallybigger than the United States. As South
African Attorney Timbecca Ungu Katobi continues withhis evidence, there are more than two
(11:30):
point three million Palestinians in Gaza.Israel is the occupying power in control of
Gaza. It controls entry, exitand the internal movements of inside Gaza and
cour Prime Minister Mister Nataiao exercises overallcommand over the Israeli Defense Force and in
(11:52):
ten the Palestinians in Gaza. PrimeMinister Nataniao, in his address to the
Israeli forces on twenty eight October twentytwenty three, preparing for the invasion of
Gaza, edged the soldiers to rememberwhat amalk has done to you. This
refers to the biblical command by Godto Saul for the retired true destruction of
(12:18):
an entire group of people known asthe Amalekites. Put to death men and
women, children and infants, cattleand ship, camels and donkeys. Now
he's referring to the passage out ofthe Old Testament verse Samuel fifteen, verses
one through three, where it readshis follow I want to give you the
(12:43):
background of what happened to the Amalekites, and why it is so critical for
the South African attorney to point outthe language that was evoked here. It
is ver Samuel fifteen, verses onethrough three. Samuel also said, unto
Saul, the Lord sent me toanoint thee to be king over his people
(13:05):
over Israel. Now therefore hearkened thouunto the voice of the words of the
Lord. Thus said the Lord ofHosts, I remember that which Amelek did
to Israel, how he laid weightfor him in the way when he came
up from Egypt. Now go andsmite Amlek, and utterly destroy all that
they have, and spare them notbut slay both man and woman, infant
(13:28):
and suckling ox and sheep, cameland donkey. That evocation of Amalek,
as it pertains to this Old Testamentscripture, has to be the clearest indication
of genocidal intentions, with the addedbonus of religious justification thereof. Now,
(13:56):
I haven't had a chance to domy deconstruction matter on this particular scripture.
I've been doing a lot of deconstructionof literature and structures and different things.
I can't quite answer the question Iwant to answer yet about this particular scripture,
But what I can tell you isthat Benjamin Nett and Yahoo reciting that
(14:18):
as justification for their actions. Yeah, that's a clear indication of genocidal intentions.
We'll be back with more than BenjaminDixon's show after this. Yeah,
(14:43):
yeah, Look, I'm in ninewith the Stars. I'm gonna sync with
the Earth ten toes deep flower Childfrom the turf. I never sweitch sides,
like even when I die. I'ma ride for the squad. A
lot of times in the hearst I'vebeen on the five. Kind of hard
to describe. I remember between themgood and it's fine, him tied in
the ground. Then I come alivein the next to realize him in the
middle. With the time of mylife, I never saw Peck Christ lied
(15:07):
on the Queen. Welcome back tothe Benjamin Dixon Show. Visits online at
the Benjamin Dixon Show dot com.Did you aside that invocation to Amalek was
(15:37):
anything but idle? It was reputedby mister Nataiao in a letter to the
Israeli Armed Forces on three November twentytwenty three. Madam President let the Prime
Minister's words speak for themselves. Hasdone to you, says our Holy Bible,
and we do remember. And weare fighting our brave troops and combatants
(16:03):
who are now in Gaza or aroundGaza. And now they had technical difficulties
at this point. But I wantyou to pay attention again to the very
beginning. You can hear very subtly, this is the translator saying, we
remember. Amleik has done to you, says our Holy Bible. And we
do remember, and we are fightingour brave troops and combatants who are now
(16:26):
in Gaza or around Gaza. Andthe deputy speaker of the Kanassat, Israel's
parliament, has called for the erasureof the Gaza slip from the face of
the f The Defense force agrees. On nine October, the Defense Minister Yoav
(16:52):
Galant gave a situation update to theArmy way. He said that as Israel
was imposing a complete siege on Gaza, there would be no electricity, no
food, no water, no fuel. Everything would be closed because Israel is
fighting human animals. We covered thatthe day he said it. Listen in
(17:15):
I have ordered Gaza and no electricity, no food and no water, everything
closed. Human animals, and sobecause they dehumanize, the entirety of the
Palestinian people in Gaza is being animals, human animals. I don't know if
(17:40):
that was supposed to soften the blow, but for sure we can say they
carried out that exact mentality. Speakingto troops from the Gaza border, he
instructed them that he has released allthe restraints and that Gaza want return to
what it was before. We willeliminate everything, rich all places, eliminate
(18:03):
everything, reach all places without anyrestraints. The theme of destruction of human
animals was reiterated by an Israeli Armycoordinator of government activities in the Territories on
nine October twenty twenty three, who, in an address to Hamas and the
residents of Gaza, stated that Hamashas become Isis and that the citizens of
(18:30):
Gaza are celebrating instead of being horrified. He concluded that human animals are dealt
with accordingly. Israel has imposed atotal blockade on Gaza, no electricity,
no water, just damage. Youwanted Hell, you will get her.
The language of systematic dehumanization is evidenthere. Human animals, both Hamas and
(18:57):
civilians are condemned within the Israeli cabinet. This is also a widely held view.
The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure IsraelCuts called for the denial of water
and fuel as this is what willhappen to a people of children, killers
(19:18):
and slaughterers. This admits of noambiguity. It means to create conditions of
death of the Palestinian people in Gaz. To die is no death because of
starvation and dehydration, or to diequickly because of a bomb attack or snipers,
(19:41):
but to die nevertheless. In fact, Heritage Minister Amihi Eliau said that
Israel must find ways for guzens thatare more painful than death. It is
no answer to say that neither arein command of the army. They are
ministers in the Israeli government, Theyvote in the Kanassat and are in a
(20:07):
position to shape state policy. Whathe's doing there is outlining the case both
against the State of Israel, aswell as key leaders like the Prime Minister,
the Minister of Defense, the Minister'sEnergy, all of the individuals he's
named. Because when it comes tocases of genocide before the Hague, before
the ICJ, not only can thenation of Israel be held accountable for what
(20:30):
it did to Palestine. But theleaders as individuals can also be held accountable.
So all of the words, Iwon't dare call them idle words,
because they made good on these genocidalintentions. They have killed over twelve thousand
children, right, But every wordthat came out of their mouths across social
(20:52):
media has been recorded and captured. And the case of genocide wasn't made by
South Africa. It was just simplyrevealed before the ICJ by South Africa.
The intent to destroy Gaza has beennatured at the highest levels of state,
as President Isaac Hertzel has joined theranks of those signing bombs destined for Gaza,
(21:19):
having previously noted that the entire populationin Gaza is responsible and that this
rhetoric about civilians not aware, notinvolved is absolutely not true. We will
fight until we break their backbone.Later attempts by the President and others to
utilize this speech have not altered thesting of his words, which was to
(21:45):
ta all Palestinians as responsible for theactions of Hamas. No, as our
show below, has it affected howstate policy is understood within government. The
Minute of National Security repeated the President'sstatements that hamas and civilians are responsible in
(22:07):
equal measure. On ten November twentytwenty three, in a televised interview,
he stated that when we say thatharmas should be destroyed, it also means
those who celebrate, those who support, and those who hand out candy.
They are all terrorists and they shouldalso be destroyed. These are orders to
(22:30):
destroy and to maim what cannot bedestroyed. These statements are not open to
neutral interpretations or after the fact rationalizationsand reinterpretations by Israel. This point is
critical because one of the master strokesof the powerful, no matter where you
find the man, let's be clear, is real with the backing of the
(22:53):
United States, is pretty powerful. But he's speaking specifically about the leadership as
they are now trying to recant andreinterpret and redefine the meaning of their words.
They didn't really mean it like that, they didn't really mean human animals,
et cetera, et cetera. Notonly do they not have the right
to reinterpret those words at this point, but the reason they don't have the
(23:17):
right to reinterpret those words is becauseover twenty thousand people have been killed,
twelve thousand of them being children. They make good on every single one of
those words. The statements were madeby pessants in command of the state.
They communicated to state policy. Itis simple. If the statements were not
intended, they would not have beenmade. We'll be back with more than
(23:40):
Benjamin Dixon Show after this break.Saudi's was wanting my presses and we're going
through it outside of your rudely. But I keep it good that game press
me, I keep if you're withintense and see what I'm wanting over so
I'm as like doing that time down. I keep it doing up on me.
I'm bless, bless big bag manof physician or stress. Aram notices
(24:00):
when I have this no hex nowhatever we do. Welcome back to the
Benjamin Dixon Show. Visitors online atthe Benjamin Dixon Show dot com. The
(24:30):
genocidal intent behind these statements is notambiguous to the Israeli soldiers on the ground.
Indeed, it is directing their actionsand objectives. On sevent December twenty
twenty three, Israeli soldiers proved thatthey understood the Prime Minister Minister's message to
(24:51):
remember what the Amalek has done toyou as genocider. They were recorded by
journalists dancing and singing we're our motto. They are no uninvolved that they obey
one commandment to wipe off the seedof Amalek. The prime Minister's invocation of
Amalek is being used by soldiers tojustify the killing of civilians, including children.
(25:17):
These are the soldiers reputing the incitingwords of their prime minister. Israeli
(25:55):
soldiers in Gaza were filmed dancing, chanting, and singing in November May their
village band may Gaza be erased. There is now a trend among the soldiers
to film themselves committing atrocities against civiliansin Gaza in a form of snuff video.
One recorded himself detonating over fifty housesin Shujaiah. Other soldiers were recorded
(26:22):
singing, we will destroy all ofkind units and this house will blow it
up for you and for everything youdo for us. These are the soldiers
putting in to effect their command. The commanders of the army are also of
the same mind. Israeli Army commanderYayre Ben David has stated that the army
(26:48):
had done in bait her known anddid there as Shimyon and Levi did in
Nablus and that the entire Gaza shouldresemble bait her. Non Israeli soldier yeshah
Yah Shalev published a video against thebackrupt of the ruins of what was the
site of al Azar University with acaption, once upon a time there was
(27:14):
a university in Gaza and in practicea school for mederas and human animals.
Soldiers obviously believe that this language andtheir actions are acceptable because the destruction of
Palestinian life in Gaza is artitulated atstage policy. It is articulated state policy
(27:36):
that matriculates and trickles down from thePrime Minister down to soldiers who believe it
to be so okay that they postedon social media. That's the fascinating thing
about this particular year's genocide. It'sthat we get to see it in real
time. And what bothers me aboutthis is that people are looking at the
same videos that we see. VideoI saw this morning that I don't think
(28:02):
I could ever forget of a kidwho had to be no more than I
don't know, twelve years old pickingup body parts of his little sister,
a baby. You know, whenwe see this happening in real time,
it also presents the opportunity for thepeople doing it who think there's nothing wrong
with what they're doing. In fact, they feel like it's ordained by God
(28:26):
because of the evocation of Amelek. They post videos and now those videos being
presented to the International Court of Justice. Senior political and military officials encouraged without
Sanschha, the ninety five year oldIsraeli i'm a reservist Ezrae Yahin, a
veteran of the de Yasin massacre againstthe Palestinians in nineteen forty eight, to
(28:49):
speak to the soldiers ahead of theground invasion in Gaza. In his tom
he echoed the same sentiment while beingdriven around in and officially Israeli Amivel just
In Israeli Amy Fatigue. I couldbe triumphant and finish them off, and
(29:10):
don't leave anyone behind. You raisethe memory of them, you raise them.
They are families, mothers and children. These animals can no longer leave.
If you have an Arab neighbor, don't wait, go to his home
and shoot him. We want toinvade, not like before. We want
to enter and destroy what's in frontof us and destroy houses, then destroy
(29:33):
the one after it with all ofour forces, complete destruction, enter and
destroy. As you can see,we will witness things we've never dreamed of.
Let them drop bombs on them anderaise them. Let them drop bombs
on them and erase them. We'llget back to the literal actual dropping of
(29:53):
bombs on Gazu, which has completelyflattened it. I have two things.
Number One, on greg Lock, white nationalists pastor Christian nationalists pastor here in
the United States asked for Gaza tobe turned into a parking lot. You
got your parking lot, pastor gregLock. It just cost you twelve thousand
(30:14):
children's lives. I wonder what yourLord and Savior Jesus Christ is going to
say, But not your Lord andSave Jesus Christ, white, Jesus White
Republican Jesus would say about that.Number Two, the erasure the parking lot
isation of Gaza was not just germaneto the physical buildings and the lives of
(30:37):
the living and now dead people ofGaza. They went as far as over
the Christmas holidays to erase Palestine fromthe history books because the narrative of Israel
bombing Bethlehem, the birthplace of Christ, on Christmas Day, which is currently
in the Palestinian territories, which wasa part of a region called Palestine interchangeably
(31:00):
with Judea, as noted by JosephusFlobbyists, the Jewish historian who was a
contemporary of Jesus Christ, as wellas the Greek historian Herodotus, who wrote
in four fifty BC e and namedit or called it rather Palestine. They
had to erase that, and soover the Christmas holidays we saw the narrative
(31:22):
go from what most people who paidattention to history knew was a region that
was traditionally called Palestine interchangeably with othernames like Judea. Yes, but they
had to erase it and say no, it was never called Palestine until a
few years after Jesus was executed crucified. See this erasure thing is really kind
(31:44):
of the point you have to understandabout genocide as a rest as. Seventh
jan twenty twenty four, a videoof a soldier was posted online where he
posts that the army had destroyed theentire village of hibbert Azah for two weeks.
He said they had worked hard tobomb the village and executed their mandate.
(32:07):
Anny suggestion that senior politicians did notmean what they said, much less
that the meaning was not understood bysoldiers in Gaza would be without any merit.
The scale of destruction in Gaza, the mass targeting of family, homes
and civilians, the war being awar on children, all make clear that
(32:29):
genocidal intent is both understood and isbeing put into practice. The articulated intent
is the destruction of Palestinian life inall its manifestations. The genocidal rhetoric is
also commonplace within the Israelinet. Membersof the Cannassat have repeatedly called for Gaza
(32:55):
to be wiped out, flattened, erased, and crushed on all its inhabitants.
They have deplored anyone feeling sorry forthe uninvolved cousins, assertain reputedly that
they are no uninvolved, that theyare no innocence in Gaza, that the
killers of the women and children shouldnot be separated from the citizens of Gaza.
(33:19):
The killers of women and children shouldnot be separated from the citizens of
Gaza. You know, here's thething about all of this. I absolutely
love the fact that social media hasexposed the type of rhetoric that is necessary
to walk a nation into genocide.See during the Holocaust, no one was
(33:47):
privy to this level of information fromevery single member of the Nazi Party and
every single member of a citizen ofGermany who may not have been a part
of the Nazi Party, but theysupported whatever the case may be, the
different layers of power, from Hitlerall the way down to the average brown
(34:07):
coat. You know, you didnot get to hear the words of the
Rwandan genocide, right, what ledup to it and what helped sustain it.
But we're watching on social media inreal time the exact language and wording
that is necessary to not only getyou into a genocide, but sustain it
(34:28):
through its entirety. And guess what. That's exactly the evidence that has been
recorded in digital format and is noweasily accessible for anyone to see. The
only question is is will the judgessee this is day one, tomorrow's day
two, and then shortly thereafter weshould find a conclusion on the matter of
(34:49):
these eighty four pages of evidence presentedby South Africa against the nation of Israel,
not against not against the Jewish people, like so many people are today.
No, it's not possible for thisto be against the Jewish people,
because there are so many wonderful, amazing brothers and sisters of Jewish origin and
descent and faith who are absolutely againstwhat is happening in Gaza. So no,
(35:15):
this is not a lawsuit against theJewish people. If anything, if
we were to refine it down toprecisely who it is against, it is
against the administration, the far rightwing administration and military leaders and officers.
I'm assuming we'll get caught up inthis as well of Benjamin Netan Yahoo,
representing the far right wing of Israel, for which many many Jewish Israelis right
(35:43):
now are calling for Benjamin Netan Yahoto resign. So no, this case
of genocide is not being brought againstJewish people. It's being brought against the
far right wing government of Benjamint andYaho and the nation of Israel, the
State of Israel, because well, yeah, he is in charge of your
nation, and because the United Statesgave him cover, well they thought so
(36:08):
confidently that they could get away withthis. And now not only is Benjamin
night in Yahoo and his cabinet andhis military officials being held accountable, but
the Nation of Israel is being heldaccountable as well. And if you cannot
separate the nation of Israel from theJewish people. Well, then you're intentionally
(36:30):
obtuse one right, you're just abad faith actor, or you are severely
uninformed about the fact that that stateof Israel. You know what I'm going
to do, and I thought Iwouldn't do it, But I think I
am now because I'm going to tellyou about it before I actually decide.
So I think that's going to helpme decide. I think I need to
(36:51):
do an exegesus. I need todo a sermon, a Bible study,
a real deep dive into why Goddid not want the children of Israel to
have a king. He did notwant them to have a king, but
they continuously demanded a king, andso he relented and gave them king Saul.
(37:12):
I think that there is a moralof the story there if you think
about Constantine and his justifications for whyhe waited to the end of his life
to fully convert to Christianity, eventhough he used Christianity to wage war,
but he didn't convert to full Christianityuntil the end because he knew that there
were things that he had to do. There were things that he had to
(37:32):
do for the empire that would puthim on the wrong side of his faith.
It's not apples to apples, butI feel like there's a connecting strand
there. The things that a nationdoes, similar to the things that an
emperor does, similar to the thingthat kings do. Yeah, as defined
(37:54):
by human history, those things mostcertainly would put you on the wrong side
of God. I wonder if that'swhy. Okay, this is in Bible
stated, let's get back to theICJ and that the children of Gaza have
brought this upon themselves, and thatthere should be one sentence for everyone their
death. Finally, the lawmakers havecalled for mercilessly bombing from the air,
(38:17):
with some advocating for the use ofnuclear doomsday weapons and a Knackba that will
overshadow the Knackba of forty eight. The Prime Minister's genocidal speech has gained ground
among some elements of civil society.A famous singer has repeated mister Natania was
(38:37):
amalk reference, stating that Gaza mustbe wiped out and be destroyed. With
every amlex sid we simply must destroyedall of Gaza and exterminate everyone who is
there. Another has called to eraseGaza, not leave a single person there.
Journalists and commentators have announced that thewoman is an enemy, the baby
(39:01):
is an enemy, the pregnant womanis an enemy. That it is necessary
to turn the strip into a slaughterhouse, to demolish every house. Our souldiers
come across, exterminate everyone, exterminateeveryone, and in fact, that is
what has been happening. Have youseen the completely flattened regions, thousands and
(39:27):
thousands of acres of flattened regions.Have you seen the bodies? We'll be
back with more of the Benjaminiction Showafter this change. Our want to see
if you five, I gave youchange, want to see you Welcome back
(40:06):
to The Benjamin Dixon Show. Businessonline at the Benjamin Dixon Show dot Com.
The intentional failure of the Government ofIsrael to condemn, prevent, and
(40:34):
punish such genocidal incitement constitutes in itselfa grave violation of the Genocide Convention,
which should recall that I'm president thatin Article one of the Convention, Israel
confirmed that genocide, whether committed intime of peace or in time of war,
(40:59):
is a crime under international law,and it undertook to prevent and to
punish it. As such, thisfailure to prevent, condemn, and punish.
Such speech by the government has servedto normalize genocidal rhetoric and extreme danger
for Palestinians within Israeli society. AsMK Moshes Sada from the Liquid Party has
(41:23):
said, the government's own attorneys sharehis views that Palestinians in Gaza must be
destroyed. I quote, you goanywhere and they tell you to destroy them.
In the kibbutz, they tell youto destroy them. My friends at
the State Attorney's office, who foughtwith me on political issues in debates,
(41:46):
said to me, it is clearthat we need to destroy all gusins.
Destroy all gusins Israel is a wayof its destruction of Palestinian life and infrastructure.
Despite this knowledge, it has maintainedand indeed intensified its military activity in
(42:12):
Gaza as to full awareness. Inthe week after seven October, NGOs and
the United Nations warned of an unprecedentedhumanitarian crisis in Gaza. The UN stated
that actors must allow humanitarian teams andgoods to immediately and safely rich the hundreds
(42:32):
of thousands of people in need.So right from the beginning, Israel knew
that it was depriving water, food, electricity and essentials for survivor. It
said, so everything is closed. It has known that it was depriving Palestinians
(42:53):
of health care and treatment for injuryin the middle of an unprecedented bombardment of
food and water and of other essentialsfor survivor. This prompted the World Health
Organization to say, we are onour knees asking for sustained, scaled up,
(43:15):
protected humanitarian operations, appealing to allthose in a situation to make a
decision or influence decision makers to giveus the humanitarian space to address the human
catastrophe. Despite this knowledge, Israelcontinues to target infrastructure essential for survivor,
(43:37):
water and sanitation, infrastructure, solarpanels, bakries, meals, crops.
It bombs hospitals, decimating the healthcaresystem. It targets AID workers and the
infrastructure of the United Nations. Itis because of the policy of Israel that
(43:58):
Gaza has become a place of deathand despair. The place of death and
despair. The targeting of infrastructure, the targeting of civilians, the targeting of
journalists, the indiscriminate bombing, thecompletely I mean the complete obliteration. There's
(44:20):
nothing left, no infrastructure. Itis honestly the perfect condition for them to
just go through the bulldozer and cleareverything off and build their new settlements.
That's how flattened the land is.And when you combine that with the genocidal
(44:40):
rhetoric that you cannot deny. AndI've lost a couple of friends over this,
and that so be it. Butyou cannot listen to the words that
are still being said and look atthe results that are being yielded and not
connect the dots of genocide unless youintend on ignoring it for whatever the justification
(45:06):
is. And if that is you, then I'm sorry that that is you,
But I don't apologize for our inabilityto be friends at this point.
It's not many people, though, honestly, well, you know, in
my personal life maybe like one personI had a block on Twitter. In
my professional life, though, thereare quite a few people that I've had
to separate ties with because of theirinsistence on ignoring what their eyes are showing
(45:35):
them, ignoring the words that theirears are hearing. The genocidal intentions of
Benjamin Nettan Yahoo and the far rightwing government of Israel have been so loud
and so clear that this case waspresented today in the International Court of Justice
by this nation of South Africa.Salutations to South Africa for taking a stand
(45:59):
in a mass that so many ofus who wanted to do something simply could
not because we didn't have the power. In conclusion, Madam President, many
propagators of grave atrocities have protested thatthey were misunderstood, that they did not
mean what they said, and thattheir own words were taken out of context.
(46:24):
What state would admit to a genocidalintent? Yet, the distinctive theatre
of this case has not been thesilence as such, but the reiteration and
the repetition of genocidal speech throughout everysphere of state. In Israel. We
(46:45):
remind the cost of the identity andauthority of the genocidal insidus the Prime Minister,
the President, the Minister of Defense, the Minister of National Security,
the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, members of the Kanasset, senior army officials
(47:08):
and food soldiers. Genocidal utterances aretherefore not out in the fringies. They
are embodied in state policy. That'sthe intent to destroy is plainly understood by
soldiers on the ground. It isalso fully understood by some within the Israeli
(47:30):
society, with the government facing criticismfor allowing in any age to gather on
the basis that it is recounting onits promise to stave Palestinians. Any suggestion
that Israeli officials did not mean whatthey said or were not fully understood by
soldiers and civilians alike to mean whatthey said should be rejected by this court.
(47:55):
The evidence of genocidal intent is notonly Chile, it is also overwhelming
and incontrovertible. Overwhelming and incontrovertible. You know, that's the hubrius of empire.
In this case, it's empire byproxy through the United States of America,
which in the United States of Americashould keep there, keep their eyes
(48:16):
open, because it's a good possibilitythat they will face a similar case of
genocide against the Palestinian people. Becauseit's our bombs that are being dropped on
the Palestinian people. It's our weapons, it's our cover, it's our political
cover. It's our Secretary of Statewho has gone over there four times since
(48:36):
October seventh to show solidarity with whatBenjamin Netanya, who is doing. It's
our for our President of the UnitedStates who showed up in the very first
week of this to support and insistedon continuing that support, insisted on spreading
the story of the baby behead atbabies with no evidence. So the United
States said, if I'm not mistaken, they might have to keep an eye
(48:58):
out themselves for a case before theInternational Court of Justice. At the end
of the day, all that mattersis that justice is served and that there
is a cease fire, and thatas many people who can be saved at
this point will be saved. Andyou would think that that should be obvious
(49:21):
to decent human beings. I knowthat when we talk about these political questions
and these debates, that when wetalk about the conservative side of the equation,
we have ample evidence to show they'reinhumanity towards everyone. But in this
case, the amount of conservatives, yes, white evangelicals, yes, Christian
(49:44):
nationalists yeah. But good old Democrats, good old liberals, the amount of
them who are supporting this and refuseto even see the genocide. Well,
again, America, keep your eyesopen, because there's a good possibility that
you too what I'm saying you weus because my taxpayer dollars are going over
(50:05):
there as well. Then we wouldbe held accountable for this genocide. I'll
see you again next time, folks. Take care. The Benjamin Dixon Show
