Speaker 2 (00:26):
Welcome ladies, gentlemen, and Jenda not conforming individuals to another
episode of The Benjamin Dixon Show. Today is Thursday, October thirty,
first Halloween twenty twenty four. We are just five days
away from one of the most important elections of our lifetime.
And of course it seems like we say this every
election cycle. But if you have been paying as much
attention as I have, you know that this is a
(00:50):
flashpoint for America. This is a turning point in American history,
whether or not we're going to go down the road
of very overt and clear fascism despite what some people
are trying to dismiss. And I'll play a clip later on.
I have to call out somebody, Ana Kasparian. I have
(01:11):
to call her out because in the clip with Jank
Huger over at TYT, she doesn't seem to think that
it's fair to call Donald Trump a fascist. If you
paid attention to the speeches at the Madison Square Garden
event earlier this week, you will see the clear overtones
of fascism that were on full display. But more importantly
(01:33):
than their words, it's the very clear policies that they
are trying to enact. MAGA their intention to enact. And
you know, I know you know all of these things.
I know that you have been paying as much attention
as I have. Even though I have been away doing
some other work that I've shared this morning with the patrons,
(01:56):
I have still simultaneously kept my eye on the ball
as it pertains to what's happening in this country. And
you know, I have clips and clips and clips to share,
audio soundbites, stuff to take into consideration, stuff to analyze.
(02:17):
But it's all in motion now, Everything is in motion,
everything is in play. MAGA has executed one of the
most magnificent misinformation machines in the history of the planet.
They have billionaires backing them at every turn. Elon Musk
(02:42):
in Pennsylvania dropping one million dollars per every day for
someone who would come and register to vote underneath his pack,
and it is obviously a ploy to funnel more support
towards Donald Trump in a swing state now that has
been pulled to a halt temporarily because of a lawsuit
(03:04):
from officials there, but he still did it, and it's
indicative of the power of money. We're really and truly
in a desperate situation on this planet. I was listening
to the news in PR this morning and North Korea.
(03:25):
North Korea has committed troops that are currently quote unquote
training in Russia right now to help expand the invasion
into Ukraine. That's just another thing that's happening. Then, of
course we have we have climate change, which is always
in the backdrop. Our time is running up there. And
(03:48):
of course we have the pandemic that never ends. But
we just have to live with it because how else
are you supposed to survive. You have to just go
about your life and do your best to protect yourself.
But I mentioned all of these things because they are
inextricably linked to the same phenomenon, that is the power
of money and misinformation. Of course, the right in the
(04:10):
correct term is disinformation, but I like the alliteration money
and misinformation. It is the ability of the richest people
on the planet to just drop a few coins from
their perspective, It's just a little bit of money. It's
not a whole lot of a million dollars a day
to Elon Musk isn't anything. That's why he could do
(04:31):
it right. And the amount of money that went into
the COVID disinformation machine, it was it was just a
drop in the bucket for the backers, the anti vax
backers that supported this, this misinformation machine, the money that
(04:52):
is driving and has been driving climate change and the
reason why we can't get beyond it and halted for
the last forty or fifty years of us knowing exactly
what's going on. In fact, we've known for over one
hundred years what's going on, but it's because of the money,
and money drives misinformation what's going on in Ukraine, the
(05:14):
war money as well as misinformation. The current push to
send North Korean troops into Ukraine comes coupled with the
fact that many of the North Koreans have no idea
what their sons and daughters are doing in Russia, or
rather they're being told and being informed that this is
(05:37):
about a training exercise. And let's not forget there's always
the financial reasons for war. Why the Vladimir Putin invaded
in the first place, and a critical component of that
invasion was the disinformation of pushing the narrative that he
was going to denazify Ukraine. Y'all, it's money and misinformation.
(06:02):
And again, please do forgive me because the accurate, the
most precise word is disinformation, because it's intentional, it's a strategy,
and that strategy is so successful. I saw a scholar
in brimmer on Twitter. He said that democracy wasn't designed
(06:25):
to withstand this level of money in politics, and by extension,
it's the disinformation that comes along with it. It's it's
the monetization of disinformation. Now, it's the fact that there
is a path towards success in Maga Land if you
(06:47):
are one of the most prolific purveyors of disinformation. In
other words, if you can spread a lie successfully, you
can make money in Maga Land. And it's gotten so absurd.
I know I've mentioned this before, but let me remind
you again. Now, even high profile figures like Candice Owens,
they have gone into the realm of flat eartherism. That's
(07:11):
just how powerful disinformation is. And there's pockets of people
who believe this stuff and they want to believe it,
and they seek out voices and reward those voices that
spread this kind of disinformation. They reward them with subscriptions
(07:33):
and patronages and clicks and subscribes and shares. And it
doesn't help that we have an algorithm that is not
particularly discreet or doesn't use any discretion in filtering between
(07:56):
what is objective truths and lie. No, they've taken a
stance that there is no way to actually determine what
objective truth is. And this is in regards to everything.
It doesn't matter how many scientists actually say and confirm
(08:17):
that climate change is not only real, but it's here
and we're getting ready to go through horrific transitions, monumental
storms like we saw this season in places that normally
don't get hit in North Carolina on the west side,
on the western North Carolina areas that were three, what
(08:41):
several hundred miles away from water suffering tremendously because of
climate change. But it doesn't matter how the facts add up,
It doesn't matter what the truth really is, so long
as you have someone there with enough money, they can
drive enough misinformation to create critical mass. What is critical
(09:05):
mass is something that I've been talking about for so
long in terms of politics. It's when it doesn't matter
whether something or not is true, all that matters is
can they get critical masks and make enough people buy
into it believe it so that they can create policy
and take action based on it, or in the case
(09:26):
of climate change, inaction. In the case of COVID nineteen,
it's a combination of inaction and action. The inaction was
their refusal to get vaccines, the refusal to wear a mask.
The action that they got critical mass around based on
misinformation and they took action on was to make sure
(09:48):
that no state, they actively pressed to ensure that no
state could institute, no school board could institute mask mandates.
And so you have a combination of money leading to
misinformation slash disinformation. That is a powerful concoction that brings
(10:08):
us to where we are right now, five days out
from this election, and MAGA is in striking position. And
I know I'm a pastor and I generally try to
encourage people and try to make sure that everyone is hopeful,
but we have to be very clear and very sober
about what is happening and where we are and why
(10:31):
this is unique, and also why it's kind of disturbing
to see so many people who haven't been paying attention
over the years, even over just this election cycle alone,
but let alone the last ten years of how this
country has transformed. Since twenty sixteen, I guess that's eight years.
But over the last ten years of Donald Trump being
(10:53):
a public figure in the political realm, we've seen a transition.
And I know it's ten years. Doesn't seem like a
short period of time, but it happened so fast. Where
we moved from a nation that had the potential to
move towards you know, the Paris Climate Accords, right, the
(11:17):
Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, where we had an opportunity
to bring a run from the outskirts and bring them
into the global community. We were making progress in the
right direction, and here we are on the precipice of
the exact opposite type of world. Why because of money
and misinformation? All Right, when we come back, I'll play
(11:40):
a few clips, we'll break it down. Make sure that
you get out to vote. I hope you already voted early.
If not, Tuesday is the day. We'll be back with
more than Benjamin Dixons show right after this, and.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I'm in now with the stars. I'm gonna sing with
the earth ten toes deep, flat with child from the turf.
I never switch sides like even when I die, I'm
a grid for the squad. A lot of ties in
the hearst. I've been on the five. Kind of hard
to describe a member between him good and it's fine,
but I'm tired of the grind. Then I come alive
in the night to realize him in the middle. With
the time of my life, I never saw pack Chris
stating night on the.
Speaker 4 (12:23):
Queen.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
Welcome back to The Benjamin Dixon Show. Visitors online at
the Benjamin dixonshow dot com.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
There's notion of a fascist because look, if we're just
gonna use fascist toward anyone we dislike, all right, then
the word doesn't actually mean anything.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
Okay, what do you want me to say? You want
me to say, wanna be dictator?
Speaker 4 (12:57):
Sure, you guys, I want to be dictator. But I
don't even think he wants to be a dictator.
Speaker 5 (13:00):
Of course he does. That's what you do when you
lose an election and you go, oh, I got fake electors,
and I like to terminate the Constitution and bring out
the tanks and use martial law against American citizens and
shoot protesters. I mean, if that's not fascist, then I
guess the word just shouldn't exist.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
But was he able to do those things Trump's head.
Speaker 5 (13:21):
Okay, if you don't want to be called fascist, stop
saying fascist things. It's not that hard, not that hard.
Oh here, let me have dinner with Nick Fuentes, who's
a Nazi, Kanye who's a Nazi. And let me say
there's good people on the Nazi said, Oh, it could
be pro Confederate guys, might be guys who are pro slavery,
who are good guys.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Let me do all of these things.
Speaker 5 (13:38):
Let me say that immigrants are poisoning the blood of
our nation and Nazi term that is only used in
the past by Nazis, and then say I'm gonna ban Muslims,
I'm gonna do this and this and this to all
the other ethnic groups. And they go, oh, I can't
believe you called me a fascist. No, he is a fascist.
I'm very happy to call him a fascist.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
All right. Part of the reason we are in the
situation we are in is multifaceted, and I've given you some,
but here's some more. It's because you have people who
want to play the game of semantics all the way
down to the point where you know you're you're literally
(14:19):
on the wall, and by the wall, I mean the
wall that fascists have historically placed as a public display
their enemies on. Until you're in the gulags, there's always
there's always going to be people who concern troll you
over identifying something for what it is. And this is
(14:42):
what Ana Kasparian is doing in that clip. And I
hear Jank, you know, trying to, you know, very very
intensely combat what she's saying. But I honestly, God bless you, Jank.
But I'm not buying into that too much either, because
it's point. If you are on a clear mission for
(15:03):
truth and a clear mission to come back this fascism,
you don't keep dealing with somebody who is progressively going
towards the Dave Ruben route, progressively going towards why I
left the left route, which brings me to the other parts.
Not just the concern trolls who play the game of
semantics toil until it's too late, it's also the people
(15:26):
who monetize their truth. That's the nicest way I can
say it. They base their truth and they subjected or
they make it predicated on how much they get paid.
That's what Anna Kasparian is doing and she's taken a
long arc to get there. You've seen the clips, You've
(15:48):
heard the clips of her lamenting the success of Jenks's nephew,
Hassan Piker, looking at the success of Dave Rubin, who
was getting one hundred thousand dollars per episode from Russia.
You know, Anna is Anna was, and I have done
work with An. I've done many episodes with Anna. Kaspariana
used to love her work. She used to always speak
(16:10):
truth to power. But now now we're playing a game
of semantics with the man who absolutely said he wanted
to suspend the constitution, Donald Trump, who absolutely said he
wanted to be a dictator on day one, or maybe
it doesn't matter, because he said just for a day, dictator,
just for a day. I'm sorry, is that a distinction
(16:33):
without a difference here? And because because he said just
one day, you just dismissed the entire fact that he
literally said out of his mouth that he wants to
be a dictator, if only for a day.
Speaker 6 (16:48):
Right.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
A man who says very clearly his intention to deport
all of the immigrants, and not just the quote unquote
illegal immigrants, but the legal immigrants, in Springfield, Ohio, the
man who spread the lie about the cats and the dogs,
a man who told the proud boys to stand back
and stand by. See we're here where we are because
(17:13):
there are members of the media who are still doing
this now. I'm not going to give any flattering commentary
over CNN because CNN is just now getting to the
point where they will call a thing a thing. I
played in the last episode clip from Jake Tapper calling
Donald Trump out for what he was right. But it's
(17:37):
almost too little, too late. We're five days out from
the election. This type of commentary owned Donald Trump, identifying
him clearly as a fascist aspiring dictator. This should have
been happening all along, But because it takes a level
of courage and a willingness to lose some of your platform,
(18:01):
and because it's not the most lucrative path, The most
lucrative path in this country right now is MAGA. This
is why you see so many African American men, black
men who are all scrambling in their cars with their
phones trying to put out the most magnificent MAGA rent
they can. Why because they know they can get clicks,
(18:23):
clout and checks. This is why you see such a
deeply entrenched echo chamber because everyone is trying to relay
the same message in their own voice so that they
can get subscribers, so that they can get views, and
so telling the truth has never really been a lucrative
(18:44):
path in this country. Can't blame it all on Maga, right.
They're truths that have been needing to be said for years,
for decades, for centuries in this nation, and this nation
intentionally suppresses those truths. Why because it's an inconvenient truth
(19:05):
pun intended, I guess you think about our Gores is
messaging on the inconvenient truth about climate change. There has
been an active suppression of our ability to do something,
not just the information, but our ability to mobilize and
to actively do something to prevent the most calamitous aspects
(19:29):
of climate change. We've been reduced to doing nothing because
of the money involved. And so telling the truth even
though al Gore made a whole lot of money off
of that documentary, and even though he made a whole
lot of money off of his you know, after being
vice president, based on climate change, but for most Americans,
(19:51):
telling the truth is not a lucrative pursuit. Ask me
how I know, but it's the concern. It is those
people who want to play the game of some matter,
and it's so bad that you literally can say something
to you could play the evidence right to someone and
(20:14):
they will deny it for themselves. I want to play
this clip of CNN with Representative Byron Donald's from the
state of Florida as he listens to and hears the
full context of Donald Trump saying that he's going to
quote unquote protect women whether they like it or not,
and despite hearing it in real time, in full context,
(20:36):
he still denies the implication or even the fact that
Donald Trump said it.
Speaker 6 (20:41):
Listening donald Trump is going to protect women in our country.
He's going to protect children.
Speaker 7 (20:48):
Lost thousand children. Why say why say whether women will
like it or not? Why say why whether the women
will like it or not?
Speaker 6 (21:00):
What I will tell you is is that once again,
if you're gonna tick clip five seconds out of an
hour speech and not provide context, this is why the
American people, frankly, are frustrated with media, because you guys
play games, You take things out of context, you don't
explain them clearly, and you want to get caught up
in semantics. The heart of what Donald Trump said very
(21:21):
clearly is he's going to protect the women of our
country because Kamala Harris and Joe Biden have refused to
protect the women of our country. And that's a presidentship.
Speaker 7 (21:33):
Here's a longer clip. Here's a longer clip of him
which leads up to him saying that he, despite what
the advisors say, he's going to say he's going to
protect the women, whether they like it or not.
Speaker 8 (21:41):
Listen, four weeks ago, I always say, no, I want to
protect the people. I want to protect the women of
our country. I want to protect the women. Sir, please
don't say that. Why they said, we think it's we
think it's very inappropriate for you to say so. Why
they said, sir, I just think it's inappropriate for you
to say. I can pay these guys a lot of money.
Can you believe it? I said, well, I'm gonna do it,
(22:05):
whether the women like it or not. I'm gonna protect
them Larsa.
Speaker 6 (22:10):
And you know what happened after that that was made
The women in Green Bay, Wisconsin, they stood on their
feet and they cheered loudly because they want a president
of the United States who's gonna follow the law who's
actually going to enforce our borders.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
It's gonna And it was so funny hearing Byron Donald's
project onto the media, the claim of playing the game
of semantics, when that's literally what he's doing here, right,
It's actually worse. He's not just playing the game of semantics.
But then at the end he's just absolutely ignoring it
and saying, well, the women in the audience in Wisconsin
(22:46):
liked it. And and then maybe I don't know, perhaps
you're wondering why it matters whether Donald Trump says why
he said that matters that he's going to protect women
whether they like it or not. It's becomes it becomes
a justification for brutality against immigrants. He's setting a frame
(23:09):
that gives him a quote unquote moral justification to do harm.
It's the same thing, quite honestly, that white men have
done throughout history over their white women. That's how Immitt
til got killed. That's quite frankly, how the Tulsa race
massacre occurred. The justification of somebody did something to our women,
(23:34):
and we're going to protect them whether they like it
or not. We are in a very precarious position in
this country and where this country goes. You know, it's
it does hinge on this next election, but honestly, it
hinges on our determination not to let these people get
(23:57):
away with it, whether they win or not. If there's
anything I can encourage you on, it is to dig
in because we cannot afford to be afraid, which is
why I did what I did this morning, which is
kind of absurd and preposterous, but I'm not going to
talk about it on this episode. You can go to
patreon dot com Force Last THEVPD Show. It's open to
(24:20):
the public and you can see how preposterous of a
claim that I made this morning. But it's going to
require I digress. It's going to require that we just
be outright audacious and brave to confront and hold the
line against these people, even if it's over the next
(24:43):
four years, to fight back against them at every turn.
I want to insert something important here. We have to
fight back differently, and we have to fight back smarter.
I want to say smartly, but the grammar escapes me
right there, correct way to end that sentence, but it
doesn't matter. You get the point. We have to be
(25:05):
smarter than them. They want violence because they're the masters
of violence. They want to unleash the military owned protesters
that they deem rowdy because they desire for a paradigm shift.
They want to go past the rubicon where the military
in the United States can be used directly against citizens.
(25:28):
They want violence, And so when I say we need
to dig in and fight back, I say we have
to do it intelligently. Not that any other protest hasn't
been a form of intelligence. No, we just got to
be smarter. We have to outthink and out smart them.
What do I mean specifically, I believe that we have
to begin to engage in a series of silent protests.
(25:53):
Silent protests. Now, this has to be coupled with action
through the legal system. And I'm so excited that there
are people who are fighting that fight. They're putting themselves
out there. Mark Elias of Democracy Docket, he's all over
the country every single day fighting through the legal system
(26:15):
to stop this takeover by MAGA, to bring lawsuits against
every single one of their illegal actions, and from his account,
he's winning most of those cases. I look at some
of these content creators who literally go into MAGA land
and they put themselves in danger. There's a young man
(26:36):
who who had a video I can't think of his name,
young white brother who was on one of those Jubilee
videos where they debate, and he was debating the black
sister over iud's and he cornered her, and you know,
basically anyway I digress. He put out another video where
he went to Michigan and he was talking to a
(26:58):
Trump supporter in a Michigan Jo was like twice his size,
and that man was ready to almost hit that young
white man, but he stood his ground and exposed the
logical fallacies and the ridiculousness of everything that he was saying.
That young brother put himself in harm's way. I think
(27:18):
of people with high profiles across social media who are
actively every day putting it all on the line, all
on the line to make sure that they do their
part to hold the line for democracy. And so every
single one of us we have to be that kind
(27:41):
of brave. We have to demonstrate that kind of bravery,
We have to be willing to put ourselves on the line.
I just think that as we move into the possibility
of having to protest over the next four years to
stop MAGA from going the distance they may win. Next week,
go out and vote, don't don't let this don't I'm
(28:02):
not discouraged discouraging you. I am encouraging you to keep
at it full throttle all the way through Tuesday. But
even if they win, we have to be bold enough
and brave enough to do everything in our power to
hold the line against the fascist takeover of the United
(28:24):
States of America. And then I think about Ukraine. I
know I'm all over the place, but if you I
pray that you can see how all of this ties
together again, if nothing else, it is entangled and tied
together through money and politics and misinformation that is monetizable
by the masses. How about that alliteration rights, It's all
(28:48):
tied together. It's tied to the fact that you had
people in the United States doing the bidding of Vladimir
Putin for a check. And I bring up Ukraine because
over the next four years, if MAGA wins, I believe
they will suffer the most tangible harm, kinetic harm, and
(29:09):
by kinetic I mean kinetic action, warfare to be continued
and expanded, especially with the North Korea getting involved, and
that you take away the United States funding and support
of Ukraine and all that Ukraine is going to be
left with is whatever ammunition and weapons and support they
can get from Europe. If Donald Trump wins, that doesn't
(29:30):
bode well for Ukraine. But they're already holding the line.
They're already putting themselves in harm's way. They're already shedding
blood and doing everything they can to hold the line
over there against the onslaught against democracy. At the end
of the day, this is all about undermining democracy. Because
(29:51):
democracy by definition, by design, expands the rights of people.
It gives everyone an opportunity to participate in the power
sharing process, and because the population continues to become more diverse,
(30:12):
more interconnected, more inclusive, Democracy is an impediment to every
nationalist across the globe. And so Christian nationalists in the
United States of America paired up with Christian nationalists and
ethnic nationalists in Russia. Vladimir Putin with Victor Ubin, with
(30:36):
Benjamin and Yahoo, all of them have a problem with democracy.
And here in the United States, their answer to their
problem with democracy has been a maga misinformation machine that
is so precisely tuned, I mean, so prolifically engaged in.
(30:58):
They run that thing like a well oiled machine and
it has the ability to get actual tangible results and
policies based on lies. And they learn from the best.
They learn from Vladimir Putin. What do we do? We
(31:19):
understand the problem and win, loser draw next Tuesday, this
coming Tuesday. We don't give in. We do not faint,
we don't throw in the tile. We ignore the concern trolls.
As a matter of fact, even if they win. We
don't just ignore them, but we call them out even more.
We double down, We go harder, we go further. Why
(31:43):
because our kids deserve it, Democracy deserves it, the future
deserves it. All right, we'll be back right after this.
Speaker 3 (31:52):
I might like to wear that time down.
Speaker 9 (31:53):
I keep it to I'm bless, bless stress. You know
I noticed is when I have this no hes son,
god ca pa, I got how far we proprise whatever
we do?
Speaker 3 (32:08):
Are we keeping it florid?
Speaker 2 (32:09):
I don't see your threat, bad eving.
Speaker 1 (32:27):
Welcome back to The Benjamin Dixon Show. Visit us online
at the Benjamin Dixonshow dot Com.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Welcome back, Welcome back. So anyway, I have been alluding
to something that I have done that is rather preposterous,
and and again I'm not gonna even talk about it
in this episode, because boy, let me tell you it's uh,
it's it's it's a thing, and and you can go
(33:01):
check it out on patreon dot com. Force last THEVPT Show,
There's something else that I'm doing on Sunday. This Sunday,
I'm starting a live stream service, a virtual church. I
am still pastoring, but I wanted to move my work
into the virtual space so that we can expand it
(33:22):
and share and encourage as many people as possible. So
get ready for the Sunday stream with Pastor beIN. Sunday
Service with Pastor beIN starting this Sunday. It's only for
an hour, and if you are not a believer, then
just forgive me because for one hour every week, I
am going to be two hours on Wednesday night seven
o'clock as well as Sunday morning at ten am, I
(33:45):
will be streaming my messages, my sermons. I am a
pastor first and foremost, because that has been the backbone
of how I have quite honestly survived and in a
way thrived in everything which is so critical right now
(34:08):
because of the threat that Christian nationalism poses. They make
a claim. Their claim is that they are ordained and
authorized by God to take over the United States of America.
I have a claim of my own. It is rather preposterous,
and honestly, when you go read it, you're gonna cringe.
But you know me well enough to know that I
(34:30):
would not come out here and say anything without a
firm foundation, even if it is ridiculous. And I make
the claims that I'm making based on my faith and
based on science, I can you know I've worked on it,
so I'm not ashamed. I'm actually rather proud that when
(34:53):
we get down to the brass tacks of the mathematical framework,
I'm proud of that. But I have to act in
faith because it was given to me in faith, and
because what we're facing. I know you're like, Ben, what
the heck are you talking about? Go to patreon dot
com force last AvPD show and joining the cringe. You're
gonna be like, Oh, Ben, Yeah, because that's how I
am right now. I had to step out on faith,
(35:15):
and stepping out on faith does not require that I
step out on stupid even though what I have to
say is going to sound preposterous, but that's the context.
I'm not even telling you what it is. I'm telling
you the context so that you could understand the absurdity
of it all. There is a faction of religious people
on this planet who are committed to the overthrow of
(35:36):
democracy and the overthrow of your individual liberties and the
institution of a theocracy that can punish you by the
power of law through the letter of the law if
you do not live a lifestyle that they suggest and
they declare that you have to live, even though we
know they are not living up to that standard themselves.
(35:58):
We know that the over people who are being arrested
every single day for sexual assault, especially that against children,
come from the church, so much so that there is
now an entire vertical in the insurance industry that is
(36:19):
there only to provide insurance to churches to help them
stay afloat if they ever get charged with sexual assault
child molestation insurance. So we know for a fact that
the very people who want to institute laws that will
punish you because they don't agree with your lifestyle are
the most immoral people on the face of the planet.
(36:40):
You don't get more immoral than a person who would
abuse a child and then use your power and authority
and claiming to be a Christian and claiming to be
a moral leader to do the most immoral things imaginable.
Those are the people who are trying to change this
country into something that they can use as a bludgeting
(37:01):
tool because they don't like your sexuality or your gender identification,
because you decided that you needed to get an abortion,
because any number of things, or even because you are
an immigrant. Those are the people, and they're doing it
based on a claim that God has authorized them to do,
(37:24):
so that they have a spiritual mandate from God. Well,
you know, I've been talking to the Lord, and I
have a claim of my own, and I'm challenging, challenging
them very directly. Windows are drawl. Tuesday is not Tuesday
is going to come, and Tuesday is going to go.
Who is going to be their next president is going
(37:44):
to be the next president. But one thing that I
will never stop shouting to the top of my lungs
is that Christian nationalism is not on the side of
the Lord, not only by virtue of scripture, the virtue
by the fact that they are doing the exact opposite
of what Christian scripture tells them to do what the
Bible tells them to do, as especially as it pertains
(38:07):
to immigrants. I preach that, and I've shared that link
the scripture by scripture by scripture that shows that what
MAGA wants to do to immigrants is not only immoral,
but it is antithetical to Christ. It is Antichrist, meaning
that it is the exact opposite of every single thing
the Bible tells us. And as it pertains to immigrants,
(38:31):
they do not have a mandate from God, but they
are going to try to run the distance and run
up the scoreboard based on the claim that they do.
So I operate, and I will be continuing to operate
in my ordination and my training as a gospel preacher.
(38:54):
One thing I know probably better than anything else is
the Bible and the history of the Church and the
theological framing of some of the top thinkers in Christian
orthodoxy over the last however, many centuries and centuries. The
(39:17):
only thing I might know a little bit better than
that is it's politics. Perhaps I don't know, and perhaps
over the next few months and years you'll see that
I know some other stuff just as well. I'm saying
all this to say that we have some interesting times ahead,
(39:38):
and every one of us need to do our part,
and my part is rather peculiar. My part is quite
honestly preposterous. And the only way I have even the
nerve to play my part is rooting it in not
only my faith, because you could have faith and step
(40:00):
out on faith and be stepping out on stupid, but
also in as much grounding in scientific and mathematical accuracy
as I can possibly muster, and now reaching out and
partnering with actual scientists who can take the work and
go the distance and if necessary, show me where I'm wrong.
(40:27):
I'm going to do my part, and I'm asking that
you do yours. And your part might simply be to
not give up hope if things don't go the way
we need them to go on Tuesday, to in fact
use that as a motivation to commit as much of
your life as you can in any way that you can.
(40:49):
I don't care if it's a commitment to engage on
social media. I don't care if it's a commitment to
run for office locally. I don't care. If it's a
commitment to whatever or whatever you can do, commit to
silent protesting. And I'm going to push that if I
don't push anything else. Very clearly, it is going to
(41:09):
be to demonstrate the power of silent protest, not marches.
Marches are fine, but to occupy is space in silence,
in direct confrontation, silent confrontation with the enemy, to be
in their space, in their faces and say nothing, but
(41:32):
just show numbers. I've seen it in action, I've participated
in it, and I tell you I have never seen
something so powerful because what it does is it absolutely
neutralizes every tactic that they have to oppose us and
to combat us. And if they want to send if
Donald Trump wants to send the military to suppress silent protesters,
(41:56):
then it will be a demonstration to the world that yes,
and Asparian, he is a fascist. See you next week.
It never gets me downe city of mine, How I love,
How I love the.
Speaker 1 (42:13):
City of mine. It never gets me down. Yeah,
