The Fight Starts Here:

I’m not the same person I was when you last heard from me on a consistent basis. I’ve been away, not out of apathy, but because I’ve been growing, studying, lamenting, rebuilding—and finding my center. I’ve spent that time preparing, and now, I’m coming back with a plan, a purpose, and a clarity I didn’t have before. This episode lays out the foundation for everything that comes next. I’m introducing a new, methodical cycle—a rotation of the most urgent and interconnected issues of our time:
  • Gaza and the global fight against genocide
  • The rise of fascism in America
  • White supremacy and systemic racism
  • Failures and complicity within the Democratic Party
  • Nuances within the Black community
  • Why Christianity and capitalism are fundamentally incompatible
Each topic will be revisited regularly. This is not headline-chasing. This is strategic, educational, and mobilizing work—meant to build a body of knowledge that equips us for the fight ahead. I also want to be clear about this shift: I’m leading more publicly with my faith now—not as a means of exclusion, but because it’s the source of my clarity and conviction.

That said, this space has always been and will always remain rooted in unity—centered around The People of Good Faith. That means you—whether you’re Christian, atheist, Muslim, agnostic, Jewish, spiritual, or none of the above. If you yield to truth, if you are committed to justice, if you’re willing to confront inconvenient facts for the sake of collective liberation—then you are welcome here. You are needed here.

I talk in this episode about why I’m moving to daily audio, how social media algorithms have suppressed this work, and why I’m no longer waiting for perfection to speak truth. I ask you—if you've ever stood with me—to show up again. Share this episode. Commit to listening. Reconnect.

Because the best of what’s coming won’t be possible without you. This isn’t just a podcast. It’s a strategy. A community. A movement. And it starts now.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Everybody this has been pastor been. I want to take
a minute to establish the frame for the next several
months and truthfully, as long as I can sustain this.
But there is a lot that I have been not

(00:40):
just working on, but processing, and I'm realizing that to
carry all of these things, I'm going to have to
move in a very methodical, intentional cycle in order to
not only cover what needs to be covered, from God

(01:01):
to the rise of fascism in the United States of America,
the renaissance of white supremacy, the problems in the Democratic
Party as they are complicit with the rise of fascism
in the United States of America, to nuances in the
Black community, to nuances in Christianity that need to be

(01:24):
highlighted and pointed out. For example, this morning, we began
a thirty six week Sunday school series entitled why you
Can't be a Christian and a capitalist not a Bible
believing Christian. In the black community, we have pro black impostors,

(01:45):
a term that I took from my colleague in this space,
in the content creation space, but he's far more than
a content creator. He's an attorney and a pastor. Augustus Corbett,
he coined that phrase pro black impostors. And then I'm
hoping one day, eventually we can get to a peaceful
enough existence where I can really get into the stuff

(02:09):
that I've been working on and studying about the universe,
reality itself, all of those things that are only accessible
to you if you have time and enough piece. You know,
piece is relative. But I can't even talk about those

(02:31):
things right now. All the stuff about the universe and
reality and all the honestly the very best stuff that
I've been working on, I have to put that to
the side because they're just so many issues that have
to be addressed. And I realize I have to go

(02:52):
kind of almost in a liturgical pattern. I can't cover
any one thing just once. But those categories that I
just gave you, that's going to be the big categories
of what I'm going to cycle through. Five days a
week I'm going to cycle through and I guess six

(03:12):
days a week if you count Sunday morning, Monday through Friday,
and Saturday morning Sunday morning, and then of course there
are all of the appearances that I've been making and
continue to make, so you're going to see a lot
of me. But I needed to lay this particular episode
because I need you to understand that what I'm doing,
i'm doing on purpose, and I'm doing it intentionally, and

(03:33):
I'm doing it methodically. Because there's so much, and because
it's so much, it's easy for us to get lost,
and to not even just lost, overwhelm. It is so
easy for us to get overwhelmed. Here's the other part

(03:53):
of it. If I can go on a tangent, I'm
also going to begin focusing primarily on audio content because
I need to be able to move with the speed
that is not germane for a video production right now,

(04:14):
because I'm my own video producer and there's just so
many things that I have on my plate that I
haven't put out because I haven't finished editing the videos.
But I can't afford to wait for the perfectly produced
video anymore, so you have to forgive me. A lot
of what I'm going to put out is going to
be audio primarily, and if I put a video version out,

(04:36):
it's probably going to have just one image on the
screen right, because I do want to get the word
out to all of my channels, and you know YouTube
and the other channels that you know you have to
convert it into video format. But I'm going to ask
you if you would commit to listening, and if you're
watching on YouTube, I'm going to ask that you commit

(04:58):
to watching, even if if it's just a still photo.
Here's the other thing I'm going to ask you. I
need your support now more than ever. And it's not
just financial support. I need you to share every damn
thing that I put out everything. Sorry to sounds so aggressive,
but I need your support because I am so The

(05:21):
algorithm and the throttling of my account is so significant.
Give you a case in point. I have one hundred
and fifty nine thousand followers on Twitter. On average, I
might get three hundred views. I want you to hear
that again. This is the level of suppression that I

(05:43):
am under and without you sharing, without you retweeting, and
I need you to do that as a matter of routine.
I know that over the years, particularly the last four years,
I have been very inconsistent in what I've been bringing
to you. But I think that if you knew me

(06:04):
back around twenty twenty, and you know me now. You
should see and hear and feel a substantive difference. Not
only I mean. Don't get me wrong, my content was
good back then, but I was carrying all of that
stuff without a center. And now that I have found

(06:29):
over the years the center, I understand. Now I have
to cycle through. So I have to talk about gaza.
I have to talk about fascism. I have to talk
about white supremacy. I have to talk about capitalism. I
have to talk about the black community. I have to
talk about all of these. I have to talk about

(06:50):
the problems in the Democratic Party, and I need to
be able to cycle through them, and I can't. Here's
the other thing. I can't do it based on the
news cycle. The news cycle will have a spinning out
of control. Okay, if we let the news cycle guide us,

(07:16):
we will be spinning out of control every now and then.
I'll pull a headline every now and then I'll grab
a video and I'll do commentary on that video. All
of that is secondary. What is primary is that I
am going to lay a foundational voice five days a week.

(07:39):
And if you come to Sunday School for our course
on why Christians can't be capitalists. Then you'll hear me
six days a week. I need you to listen as
intently as you can, because every word that I say
now is measured, intentional and calculated, unless, of course, I'm

(08:05):
hanging out with my friends, don't like it or not
be and DJ exclusive. We get silly sometimes and you're
gonna have to give me that space. That's my dog
and we'd like to laugh, and I need that. But
everything that I'm saying is intentional, and in many ways,

(08:26):
I'm starting over from scratch. You know, it used to
be nothing for me to put out a video and
get a million views. It used to be nothing for
me to put out a podcast and get tens of
thousands of downloads. You know, had plenty of patrons to
support everything. Thank you to all the patrons who are
still here. But in many ways, I'm starting over from scratch,

(08:49):
and that's because I haven't been able to be consistent
with you. But now I'm getting ready to open up
a floodgate. I'm getting ready to pull or out everything
that I've been working on. It's going to be audio
primary because I can't wait and I can't delay for

(09:10):
the sake of producing video content. You can help us
get back to the point of video by becoming a
financial supporter Patreon dot com for Slash the BPD Show.
You can also send financial contributions to PayPal dot me
for slash Hey pastor Bin. If you want to try

(09:33):
cash app, that's fine too, dollar sign Hey pastor Bin
on cash app. I want you to also get very
familiar with the cycle. Almost called it the liturgy, and
in a way, you can think of it like that,
but a liturgy without specific words. It's a liturgical rotation

(09:56):
in content that we will be discussing. Why because I
need you to know that when you tune in on
a certain day, you're going to get one of five things. Gaza,
the fight against fascism in the United States of America,

(10:18):
the fight against white supremacy in the United States of America,
matters that are pertinent to the black community, and matters
that are pertinent inside of the Democratic Party. Because you
know what, I know for a fact that there is
a tremendous fight that has to be had in every

(10:38):
one of those categories. And without that being a centerpiece
of our rotation, you know you would tune in kind
of feel like, oh wow, he's all over the place.
So I'm laying this foundational work right here. And it's

(10:59):
because we have to go deep into them. I need
the body of knowledge to deepen in each and every
single category. So it's not it's I could follow just
the news cycle, but the news cycle doesn't let us
get deeper into the issues, deeper into the nuances. Because
what I need this podcast to be and what I
need your time with me to be is educational, somewhat motivational,

(11:26):
definitely mobilizing. I need you to educate and mobilize. I'm
very serious about something here. We are at a flashpoint
in this country, on this planet. We are at a
turning point where the world we knew is gone. The

(11:52):
world where you could afford to have an apartment with
the roommate with one job, that's gone. The world where
you could trust, within reason, the water coming into your pipelines.
That's going out the door that you could trust. The

(12:13):
food in the grocery stores, that's going out of the door.
Because of the intentional decisions that are being made by
the most powerful people on the planet, we are moving
into an era where we won't be able to trust
the air that we are breathing. Because of the decisions

(12:33):
being made by Robert Kennedy, Junior at HHS Health and
Human Services, we're moving into an error, and quite frankly,
we are already in an error where the cruelty is
the point where the cruelty of racism. I listen to
my son as he plays video games, and every single

(12:57):
room that he goes into he has to deal with
with someone calling him the N word or calling him
a monkey. And little do they know that I've raised
I've raised somebody who they don't want the smoke with Connor.
His name is Connoisseur on across his platforms Connoisseur Connor

(13:21):
for short. Don't get me wrong, I love to hear
him read them for filth. But I'm still taken aback
by the fact that my son has to grow up
in a generation where someone would call him nigger on
a video game, on a regular basis, in random rooms,

(13:42):
over and over again, someone would call him a monkey.
Someone would say go back to Africa. And these are kids,
these are children his age seven years old. This is
the era in which we live. And if we don't
understand and the nuances of not only how we got here,

(14:03):
but how we get away from this. How do we
turn the tide, how do we turn back the time,
not to go back to something that was fictional before.
The peace that we had was pretty fictional. It was pleasant,
but it wasn't real, the peace and the solitude. And
we had a moment of hope in the eighties and

(14:24):
in the nineties, and then we saw that slowly but surely,
and then all of a sudden, all at once disappear.
And now we're living in the era of desolation, the
period of human desolation, American desolation. Now we're living in
an error where we can see a genocide, a holocaust

(14:48):
happening right in front of our eyes. And the insult
to injury is that you have people who look at
what we see right in front of our eyes happening
in Gaza, and they deny it, and they laugh about it,
they make jokes about it, they make Instagram reels and
TikTok videos mocking the dying and the dead in Gaza.

(15:15):
What a sick, evil and demented world we have created
here on this planet. So you got to forgive me.
My intention is to do my part along with encouraging
you to do your part to turn this shit around,
all in the backdrop of climate disaster that is not impending,

(15:41):
but already here help me somebody. So you understand, we
will be dealing and addressing and not just talking about it.
But I want to remind you of how we beat this.
I say remind you very specifically, because inside of your heart,
inside of your mind, inside of your brain, you already

(16:03):
know what we gotta do. I just need to remind
you of it. I just need to make sure that
we are on one accord and that we start gathering
as many like minded people. There are movements, there are coalitions,
there are groups all over this country, all over this planet.
We don't have to start nothing new. All we got
to do is unify. I'll be bringing you voices of

(16:28):
people who are doing the work, Organizations that you can
unify with, people that you can team up with, places
that you can go and do your part. We're not
in this by ourselves, but I gotta cycle through these issues,
and I need you to understand the intentionality of it.

(16:49):
I'm being very intentional. I'm being very methodical. I'm gonna
be dropping stuff on a regular basis and they're gonna
fall in those categories and they may see it's going
to be overwhelming. I've got book after book after book.
I need you to read them. I need you to

(17:09):
read them because there's not a wasted word. I've compressed
everything into as few words as possible, and I need
you to understand exactly what's going on. I don't need
you to buy them all because most of them I'm
going to give away for free. But I need you
to not take I need you to not dismiss it

(17:30):
because it's free. There's something that humans do that's extremely wrong,
is that because something is free, we don't associate value
with it and we take advantage of it. But when
I give you these books, I need you to give
me your email, and I need you to open up
my emails when I send them out. That's the price
you get the book, give me your email, and then
open your email and read the articles when I send

(17:52):
you articles. But I need you to get these books,
and I need you to download them, and I need
you to get the knowledge that's necessary. Again, let me
rephrase that. I want to remind you of the knowledge
that's necessary to accomplish what we need to accomplish that

(18:12):
is actual peace in our lifetime. To stop the evil
of Zionism, to first help people to understand the evil
that it truly is. To separate Zionism from Judaism, because
they are not the same. In fact, they are antithetical
to one another. Zionism is as antithetical to Judaism as

(18:36):
Christian nationalism is to Jesus. Zionism is putting the Jewish
people and the Jewish faith at risk because it is
removing by force the very remembrance of the Holocaust from
our minds and from our hearts, because it is replacing
it with the images of the Gossen Holocaust. But because

(19:00):
of the joy and the giddiness, and the sadism and
the cruelty that is at the center of Zionism, we
are seeing all over the globe people who once stood
by Israel. And maybe that was the problem in the
first place. How do we stand by an apartheised state

(19:22):
in the first place, How do we stand by the
people who committed the Knakba and forcibly remove seven hundred
thousand people in their first round of settler colonialism. We
got to call a thing a thing. We can't apologize
for it anymore. And I want you to understand that
this is rooted in study, This is rooted in deep meditation,

(19:46):
this is rooted in lament. There are plenty of Jewish
people who reject Zionism, and I will be speaking with
several rabbis. I've made contact with several rabbinical organizations that
are vehemently opposed to Zionism, and they will speak for themselves.
But when we see what those devils from Zionism, Benjamin

(20:08):
Nett and Yahoo in the far right wing Lakud party
is doing to the people of Gaza, and when we
see how the rank and files Zionists across social media
are laughing about it, mocking it, dismissing it, denying the
truth of it, there's a devil that has to be exercised.

(20:32):
And I've been working with the Lord on my anointing,
which is where I've been also, I do there's one
other feature that I need to put into this cyclical pedagogy.
I want to say faith in science, but it's not
going to be faith in science yet, because I will
get to the science when things settle down. Things are
just too crazy right now for me to be trying

(20:52):
to show you everything the Lord has revealed to me
through science, but faith versus atheism. And I don't mean
combative arguments about the existence of God on me and
anything like that. No, it's truly about why it is
that I am rooting my work now in my faith
first and foremost versus all of the years before this

(21:15):
when I kept my faith to myself, you all knew,
You always knew I was a Christian, but I wasn't
leading in the public fight that I was in through
my faith because I believed in the separation. I still
believe in the separation of church and state. But when
you see the spiritual wickedness that is happening, and when
you see it in high places, and you see how

(21:37):
it is trickled down, that spiritual wickedness has trickled down
not just from Benjamin and Yahoo, not just from MAGA
and Donald Trump, not just from all of the nationalistic
movements all around the globe, but it trickled down all
the way down to the rank and file member. Hell,
let's trickle down to seven year olds who are calling
my son a nigger and a monkey on video games

(22:01):
any random day. They didn't understand who was raising him.
He handles them. Oh, he handles them. I might share,
I might record some of the audio and let you
hear how he handles them. But the fact that he
has to. When I was seven years old, while I
was playing with all you know, black friends, white friends,

(22:24):
of watching Voltron transformers, you know we've come to a
very dark age in the United States of America and
across this planet. Truth is, we were always headed here.
We just had a moment of peace where we didn't

(22:44):
realize and we were too young I was to really
fully realize what was going on and how the actions
of imperialism everywhere it manifests, was always going to lead
to this place. But in the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ, and in solidarity and unity with the people

(23:07):
of good faith, I don't care what you believe. I
don't care who you believe in. If you don't believe
in anybody, y'all know I rock with y'all. But in
the name of all that is good and just and
righteous and just, pleasant and kind, let's begin to organize

(23:31):
one with the other, not creating new organizations. We don't need,
not another organization. When I say organized, I mean to
take everybody who's working on this for the good of
humanity unless tie us all together in knowledge knowledge of
one another. Do you know how many people are out

(23:53):
there fighting for justice? Ah, you would be so encouraged
to know how many people, how many organizations are out
there fighting for justice. Fascism doesn't stand a chance when
you consider how many organizations and individuals and groups and

(24:15):
movements that are out there that are fighting in all
the different ways, in the legal sector, in the organizing sector,
in the political realm, in media, boots on the ground.
You even got some people who like to knuckle up
and they'll fight a fascist if they have to. Oh,

(24:35):
I need you to be encouraged, my friends. I need
you to be encouraged. And so as I get ready
to launch this daily podcast again, I can't give you
video every day. It just takes entirely too long. But
I can talk with you every day, and I probably
won't go over thirty minutes because I don't my voice
is damaged and I've got some real vocal issues that

(24:58):
have been happening for years. So I know that I
can talk more than thirty minutes, but I think that
should be enough. You know, Let this be a rallying
point for you. Y'all know me, y'all know me at
my best. Some of you have known me at my worst.

(25:19):
But I can tell you this. I'm wiser, I'm stronger,
and I'm better than I ever was before. And I
need you to rally behind me, Rally beside me. Let
me get behind you. Y'all saw what I did there.

(25:41):
I need you to get behind me. I need you
to walk beside me. And if you're doing something, let
me get behind you. I do need your support. Patreon
dot com for slash THEVPD Show, PayPal dot me forrest Slash,
Hey pastor Ben dollar Side, Hey Passer, been on cash up.

(26:02):
I need your support. I need your email address. I
need you to open my emails. I need you to
afford my emails because you know I'm gonna be telling
you the truth. You know I'm not gonna waste your
time with something frivolous. It may not be in your
specific category. You know. Your theme might be the fight
against capitalism. Okay, I still need you to open that
email about Gaza. Your theme may be Gaza, it should

(26:24):
be all of our things. But I still need you
to open that email about white supremacy. Your fight might
be against white supremacy. Rocket, I rock with you, but
I absolutely need you to open that email about the
progressive fight against democratic establishment. I need your support like

(26:45):
never before. If you used to be a patron and
you're not a patron anymore, I need you to go
back and become a patron again, because the best is
yet to come. Right. I think that's about as much
of a welcome back as I need to give tomorrow.

(27:08):
I don't know which one I'm gonna talk about tomorrow,
but whichever one I talk about tomorrow, of those five
or six issues, just know that the next day and
the day after, I need you to tune in to
this podcast so that you can get your update and
get deeper and deeper and deeper knowledge on each of

(27:29):
these issues. What it is that we can do about it,
who's already working on it, how you can support them,
how you can support this channel, how you can support
our work, and then tell us about what you're doing.
Join the community, Go over to the discord, follow me,

it yet. Join my server over there on discord. All right, folks,
I'll see you tomorrow.
