the most explosive of quarterbacks for fantasy. So these are the quarterbacks, honestly,
that I think are very good bestball targets. There's a couple names
on this list that are going outsideof the top twelve, at least outside
of where you're probably drafting your firstquarterback. So if you're really going to
wait on quarterbacks, some really goodnames on this list. I also compiled
(02:15):
the most consistent quarterbacks for Fantasy lastyear. If you've been following along with
this research at all, you knowthat you actually really don't want consistency.
You want explosiveness, but pretty muchnobody delivers that. Every quarterback has the
same floor. Right, the flooris a four point game where they throw
for one hundred yards, they throwthree interceptions and like it's a terrible game,

and now it's not going to happento Patrick Mahomes very often. But
every quarterback has the same floor.Obviously, not every quarterback has the same
ceiling. The five most consistent quarterbacksthis list is so boring, so I'm
just gonna read it, not goingto break it down. Aaron Rodgers,
Matthew Stafford, Kenny Pickett, BakerMayfield, Mac Jones. Yeah, I
mean Aaron Rodgers, a new situation, a little maybe a little interesting.

Matthew Stafford down your last year,we can maybe see him be a little
bit more volatile and explosive this yearlux Roy Short. What you really want
in fantasy is the volatility. Youwant the guys with the huge ceilings,
and that starts with number five.A little bit of a surprise here,
Really like targeting him. This isJared Goff. I think he's easily the
most undervalued quarterback in fantasy football rightnow. He just he can't escape the

perception that he stinks, and Ithink that perception exists honestly because he's volatile.
He had four games last year withunder ten fantasy points. That's pretty
brutal. He had a five pointfive game, he had a six point
five game, he had a sevenpoint nine game, like rough stuff.
But he also had four games withover twenty five fantasy points. He was
a top ten fantasy quarterback last year. He's being drafted outside of the top

twelve this year. His supporting castin Detroit has only gotten better. Everybody
loves the Lions. Everybody loves theLions, except they don't love Jared Goff.
I don't get it. You lockJared goffin towards the later rounds of
your draft, and if you waiton a quarterback, absolutely think Goff needs
to be your number one target.And he's super stackable too, Like because
he goes so late, you canstack him with You can stack him with

Jamire Gibbs. Not many quarterbacks youcan stack with running backs. You can
do that with Goff. Obviously aMonra Jamison Williams. You're gonna have to
wait on him a bit, butthat stacks there. That's like a super
cheap stack for the second half ofthe season. Like love it. I
love Jared drafting Jared Goff this year. Then number four most explosive quarterback in
Fantasy football last year. Loved thisname too. Trevor Lawrence, so I

think it's pretty exciting for him tobe included on this list. He over
the second half of the year afterthe team's Week eleven bye, he really
he ripped off some massive fantasy gamesafter the bye. From weeks two through
sixteen, he went over twenty fantasypoints in four of five games. He
went over twenty five fantasy points inthree of the five games. The first
half of the year, he waspretty good, but he only he never

topped twenty five. So like allof his massive games came after Really like
Trevor Lawrence, just like Jared goff. His supporting GA has gotten even better
this year too, adding Calvin Ridley, so Locke, Trevor Lawrenson as well.
Tua is number three on this list. Oh man, I am not
one hundred percent sure what to makeof TWA. I am not gonna lie.

I do think his concussion history lastyear scares me from him. I
think it just takes like one bighit and we might not see him play
the rest of the season. Butbut that is playing fantasy football. Scared
two is going to be out there. Maybe I need to rethink this because
I hate playing fanacy football scared.I hate playing not to lose, So
I might have just talked myself intotwo A here. I don't think it

should be a surprise to see hisname on the list. Both of his
wide receivers We've done this list forevery position. Both of his wide receivers
were on the top ten most explosivewide receiver list, Tyree Hill obviously,
and then Jalen Waddle as well.Now, of course it makes sense for
the quarterback to be on that listas well. He showed a ceiling of

nearly forty points. He scored thirtyeight point nine points in week two,
he hit twenty nine in another week. He scored nearly twenty five in both
Week nine and ten, and Ido think his inclusion on this list is
a little bit because of his Weekfour game, where he only scored two
point four points and then left early. But he did have an eleven point
four point game in Week three,which came immediately after his nearly forty point

game in Week two. He hada twelve point game in Week fourteen,
a ten point game in Week sixteen, So Tah was a little bit all
over the place, but I dolike him here in best Ball if you
can pare him with Tyreek and Waddle. I don't think I would draft naked
Ta. I'll just put it thatway, but I would I if I'm
drafting Boddle or if I'm drafting Tyreek, or if I'm drafting both, I

think Ta makes some sense. Numbertwo Justin Fields. Yeah, absolutely,
And if you really think about it, you're probably gonna be able to guess
who the number one is, althoughit's not Patrick Mahomes, but number two.
Most explosive quarterback last year was JustinFields. The dude started his year
just terribly thirteen points eight points,four points, twelve points, and then

he just crescendoed up to just anexplosion in the middle of the season twelve
points, seventeen, eighteen, twentythree, twenty six, forty one,
and then forty Like the dude justwent off. And then over the second
half of the season he was ator near twenty points and nearly every single
game except for Week sixteen, which, of course Week sixteen fantasy playoffs.

Justin Fields maybe did not help youget to the championship game, but you
know, Justin Fields got you tothe playoffs, especially if you drafted him
off the waiver wire. I mean, it's hard to believe Justin Fields was
a waiver wire pickup for a lotof people. In the middle of the
year, he was. He justhad a complete one eighty last year and
that rushing ability over a thousand rushingyards. He gave an interview saying I'm

gonna throw for over four thousand.Now every quarterback thinks they're going to throw
it for a lot. Lamar Jacksonsaid he was going to throw for over
six thousand and a new kind ofpass happy Ravens off. But I do
think Fields rose for more yards thisyear. He was under twenty five hundred.
Last year he ran for over athousand. He's gonna probably run for
over a thousand again. I meanjust his highlight reel is just oh,

it's amazing. All right, Yeah, I think I think you and everybody
can just completely right off. JustinFields is the first month of his twenty
twenty two season. The dudes aballer and he's very legit for fantasy And
then number one most explosive quarterback forfantasy football was Lamar Jackson already mentioned.
Jackson already mentioned that the Ravens aregoing to be a little bit more pass

happy this year. We might notsee the Baltimore Ravens that runs the ball
fifty percent of the time. They'veAldo Beckham, they have a Flowers,
they have Mark Andrews, they havea Shot Bateman. Still, Lamar Jackson's
obviously still there, a new anew offensive coordinator that likes to pass the
ball. His team is Jackson's lookingpretty interesting both through the air and on
the ground. Obviously, we knowJackson's ceiling. He had back to back
(08:58):
forty point games and weeks in threehe had two. He only had two
more games over twenty points, thoughthe rest of the season, and then
of course he got hurt and hemissed the entirety of the fancy playoffs,
which was a real bummer. ButJackson I think was a little bit his
floor. He reached his floor moreoften than he usually does last year,
and he reached his ceiling less oftenthan he usually does. With that being

said, the ceiling is still there. Justin Fields showed that he can rival
the ceiling. Patrick Mahomes, JoeBurrow, Josh Allen have similar ceilings.
Jalen Hurts obviously, but Lamar Jacksonmight legitimately have the highest ceiling of any
quarterback in fantasy football, maybe justinFields, and it's purely because of the
rushing Right like, Fields and Jacksonare the only quarterbacks that can take off

for an eighty yard touchdown run.That doesn't happen every year, but it's
absolutely within the realm of possibility.So Jackson, he is being drafted highly
though people are over people are rightfullywriting off his kind of down year last
year. We know he's an explosivequarterback, we know he's a great fantasy
quarterback. Love that the passing gameis looking better for him this year.

it. That was our list ofthe top five most explosive fantasy football quarterbacks
in twenty twenty two. Kind ofa little bit of what it means for
twenty twenty three. These are playersthat you should be targeting in your Bestball
drafts. And honestly, one ofthe things I really like about this you
can take these players anywhere in yourdrafts. Fields has actually been slipping a

of those go kind of towards thebeginning of the draft. Tuah is a
player you could wait on. Youcould get Tua very easy to stack with

so you don't necessarily have to spenda premium pick to get him,
but you know, he's not likea late round quarterback. He's also very

stackable with his targets. And then, of course we talked about Jared Goff
earlier. Really anybody on the Lionsyou can stack him with, and he's
going super late in draft. Soof these as targets, very stackable,
very explosive, which is what youwant in Best Ball. All right,
