What's going on everybody? And welcometo another episode of the FTN Best Ball
Cast, presented by the FTN PodcastNetwork. As always, I'm your host,
Tyler Lochner, and today we arebringing you zero RB targets. The
Best Ball Draft season over on Underdogis starting to wrap up, but not

(00:26):
really. I mean they just droppedthe Puppy three, so in some ways
it's just getting started. Depending onyour bankroll, your budget, where you
like to do the drafts. Ipersonally love the you know, the puppies,
the Pomeranians, some of these, the hound dog they've released a little
bit ago the Poodle from earlier thisseason. I don't love the struck the

(00:47):
payout structure of the Puppy three.I think it's a little bit too top
heavy. But I am still draftingthere and you should still draft there.
You can use code FTN. Wematch one hundred dollars on your first one
hundred dollar deposits, so deposit oned you ge two hundred to play with
code FTN. If you sign upnow on Underdog Fantasy, you can find
me in the streets there. Maybeyou'll draft against me, maybe you'll draft
against some others at FTN. Speakingof FTN, we update our Best Ball

(01:11):
ADP every single day. You justsearch Underdog ADP you'll see it there.
We just released the Underdog ADP Explorationtools, so you can look up any
player. You can look up twoplayers, you can see ADPs rising,
ADPs falling. You can do itfor every player it's being drafted. It's
an incredible tool. Free research,by the way, completely one hundred percent

(01:33):
free. Lots of other stuff onFTN. Not one hundred percent free,
but one hundred percent worth it.Just released the Custom Projections tool for your
regular fantasy football league, whether you'replaying in an eight man league, ten
man league, sixteen man league, twenty draft rounds, whatever, start,
two quarterbacks start, three quarterbacks, start, seven wide receivers, whatever.
It is. The custom scoring toolspits out projections and also rankings based on

(01:57):
your custom league settings. That's anincredible tool. So custom Fantasy football projections.
You can either just search that onGoogle or go to FTN fantasy dot
com. You do need a platinumsubscription for that, but this tool is
incredible because it includes developed projections formallyfrom football outsiders on FTN Fantasy right now.

(02:17):
Within that tool, which is anincredible, incredible thing to assist you
with for fantasy football because it showsyou which players are actually have a better
chance of sticking on the field. That's particularly helpful as you get in the
later rounds. All right, speakingof the later rounds, if you are
doing a zero RB draft, thatmeans, I mean the definition can vary

(02:40):
a little bit. That means you'reusually not drafting or running back until at
least the sixth round. Okay,I have some of my favorite zero RB
targets to talk about with you today. Jeff Rackliffe also just published an article
called RBS to Draft and Fantasy Footballif you go wide receiver early. So

(03:00):
it's not like a one for onecomparison to zero RB, but it's it's
it's it's also a list of zeroRB targets. I mean, it really
is. It's not a list ofexclusive zero RB targets because you could go
hero RB, right, you coulddraft, you could draft Christian McCaffrey in
the first round and then maybe youdon't take another until round eight or something
like that. But look, we'regoing to run through the list of some

(03:22):
of my personal favorite zero RB targetsthis year. Why I like them,
and then you can also check outJeff's article on FT and fancy. That
article is actually free, so reallyno reason not to go check that out.
It is aimed for the season longfantasy crowd, but obviously there's a
lot of overlap with Best Ball aswell. All right, if I am
going zero RB, the first runningback that I am very interested in is

(03:46):
Cam Acres right now, he isgoing sixty eighth overall, so middle of
the seventh round, the middle ofthe sixth round, excuse me. The
RB twenty two overall. A lotof risk with Acres in terms of is
he gonna be in the coach's doghouse, but the fact that he finished last
season so strong he got out ofthe doghouse, became the starting running back

(04:08):
again, was used as a workhorse. We know Sean McVeigh likes to use
a singular running back as a workhorse. Kiran Williams is really like his primary
threat for touches. Acres has thattop ten upside because he can be used
as both a passer or sorry,as both the receiver and a rusher.
I really like him at RB twentytwo. There there's risk, of course,
there's risk That's why he's going RBtwenty two. But there's also a

(04:30):
ton of upside. I remember Acresstraight up one championship weeks last last season,
so high ceiling. Really like draftinghim. There another player, this
guy is quickly rising up draft boardsI expected to continue. He's now going
in the middle of the seventh round. Is Javonte Williams from Denver. Sam
Agi per Ryan is there, butI've been drafting Williams when he was in

(04:51):
the ninety EIGHTYP range five EIGHTP range. He's now up to the seventy seven
EIGHTYP range. I do think thatcontinues to rise. He's gonna play preseason.
They say he's one hundred percent.I mean, just a miracle comeback.
Honestly, there's gonna be doubts aboutit, which is why he's R
twenty three. I mean, thinkabout it, if if he was one
hundred percent healthy. They say he'sone hundred percent healthy. But if he

(05:14):
never got injured last year, wewould probably be drafting him in like the
RB ten to fifteen range. Ireally think so. I think he would
be going ahead of guys like KennethWalker. I think he'd I think he'd
be kind of in that ETN etnNaja Harris range. So you're getting a
discount of Javonte Williams right now.All right, another player that I really

(05:35):
like. I think he has athree down roll waiting for him, and
he's going outside the top twenty fiverunning backs right now. He's the right
eighty fourth overall. It's Rashad Whitein Tampa Bay. If I can start
my draft with no running backs andthen I end up taking Acres and White
or Javante and White, I thinkthat is a fantastic start to the draft.

(05:58):
You know, an underdog. It'sjust the half point PPR. So
the receiving work is not quite asvaluable as it is over on DraftKings.
But White there's very little competition fortouches in Tampa. They continue to talk
about how he's going to be useda lot. He's been used, and
there was that little injury scare thathe had. Fortunately, I mean shout
out to Rashad White. He gavea personal update. I want to pretend

(06:21):
like it was for the fantasy fans. It was probably for the Tampa fans,
but he gave a personal update sayingit was no big deal. So
I think we dodged a bullet. They're really like drafting Rashad White in this
range. If you are going zeroRB and then next up is Album Kamara.
He's going a pick after Rashad Whitein ADP. After his suspension was

(06:41):
announced the three games suspension, hisADP rose, but it actually didn't rise
that much. I thought it wasgoing to rise more. It only rose
about a half round. So Camarais still very cheap. He was running
with the first team offense, catchingpasses from Derek Carr. I know it's
only one drive in the preseason, but I mean, look, Derek Carr
is not Drew Brees, but DerekCarr is an improvement over the quarterbacks that

(07:04):
they have had recently. Kamara wasnot used as much in the passing game
in the last couple of years.I think there's a good chance we see
that switch and we see him usedin the passing game more this year.
There is, of course Jamal Williamsthere to steal touchdowns from Kamara. That's
probably going to happen, but look, Alvin Kamar is the RB twenty nine.
You do have to eat the firstthree weeks, which is not easy

(07:27):
to do, but all of thatis baked into his cost. The upside
there is higher than anybody else goingin this range. All right, going
down a little bit more, Iwant to rate. I want to bring
up Dalvin Cook. He's really I'mtaking a couple shots on him here.
His ADP is ninety three. It'sgonna rise a little bit. I actually
do still prefer to draft Breeze Hall. The Jets say they're going to take

(07:50):
it slow with Breeze Hall. Thatmight take a month or whatever. I
do not think Dalvin Cook is goingto be the guy in New York.
There is kind of what everyone's talkingabout on Fantasy Twitter right now is maybe
Aaron Rodgers is just gonna like beGM Aaron Rodgers and say, hey,
you're playing Dolvin Cook. Dolvin cooksthe guy, Delvin Cooks the vet I
mean GM, Aaron Rodgers has kindof built that team there. This relationship

(08:15):
with Cook is seems strong, sothat's certainly a risk. And if you
buy into that narrative, then Cookis a good value here at RB thirty
one. I'm probably just matching thefield, though at this price, I
don't feel the need to go overweight. All right, moving down further,
the list. I draft this guya ton. He's one of my top
five most owned running backs this year. Is Jerick McKinnon, the RB forty

(08:39):
at Kansas City, going in thetwelfth or thirteenth round of underdog drafts.
Right now, the dude's ceiling isreally high because of his work as a
receiver and in the red zone.In that Patrick Mahomes offense, Isaiah Pacheco
is going to be the early downback. Clyde Edwards Laya is still there,

(09:00):
so McKinnon is. He's not goingto be a three down work course.
We know that, but we doknow that he has two touchdown potential
in any given week. We doknow that he can take screen passes fifty
yards to the house in any givenweek. And we have seen the Chiefs
design red zone plays, goal lineplays specifically for McKinnon. I think there's
a lot of touchdown upside here andthey really like McKinnon. I mean,

(09:22):
it's the same backfield as it waslast year, and McKinnon was a fantasy
gold mine in the second half ofthe year, and right now he's the
RB forty, super cheap, extremelygood value. Another extremely good value is
apparently the RB one in Philadelphia.Kenneth Gainwell is flying up draft boards.

(09:43):
He's gone up like a round anda half, maybe even two rounds.
Again. You can check that ADPexploration tool on FTN Fantasy. Gainwell is
flying up draft boards. After thefirst preseason game saw him, essentially we
treated like the RB one on theteam, DeAndre Swift and Rashad We're playing
with the twos Kenneth Gainwell. Everyonethought he was just going to be this
gap back, maybe even not havemuch of a role. If it was

(10:07):
going to be Rashod Penny on firstand second and DeAndre Swift on third.
It's looking right now like it's goingto be Gainwell. Of course, the
true RB one on this team isJalen Hurts. We have Hurts projected for
over twelve rushing touchdowns, so nota ton of touchdown equity here. But
look, Gainwell's the RB forty seven. It's a crowded backfield. The odds
of Gainwell touching the ball all right, sorry, the odds of Swift and

(10:31):
Penny both not touching the ball verymuch is pretty low. But at the
RB forty seven price range, ifGainwell is being treated like the RB one
in Philadelphia. I think we definitelyneed to be hammering him here, especially
if you're a zero RB drafter, because there is pretty significant upside there.
Zamir White's another name to mention. The longer Josh Jacobs holdout lasts, the

(10:52):
better Zamir White is looking. Helooked really good in the first preseason game,
scored a touchdown there, and thenvery very late in the draft,
drafting out of Cordarol Patterson. He'sHe's third on the RB depth chart now
with b John Robinson and Tyler Augierthere. I do like Tyler Augier two,
but Patterson is free. You canget him in the eighteenth round in

(11:13):
most drafts, seventeenth round maybe insome of the drafts. He also acts
as like a wide receiver. He'sthe gadget player. You know what you're
getting with Patterson. It's probably goingto score four or five touchdowns this year.
I really like him as an extremelylate round value, and then I'm
taking a couple of shots on someof the since running backs later in the
draft. Two. You've got bothChase Brown and Chris Evans. They are

(11:37):
kind of battling for that number twospot. There's Trevin Williams there as well,
but he really looks like he's goingto be last on the on the
depth chart. Brown's a rookie, but he struggled in his first preseason game.
So I think you can take shotson both players if you do.
If you do a Chief stack ora Chief spangles stack early in the draft
with like Mahomes and Kelsey or Chaseand Higgins or Burt you know whatever,

(12:00):
this is a tiebreaker for me forthat Week seventeen game stack because the Bengals
and Chiefs are playing each other inWeek seventeen, and there's of course the
Joe Mixon potential suspension, so there'sthat path for additional upside from these players
as well. All Right, thatis my list of my favorite zero RB
targets in underdog fantasy drafts right now. Like I said, go check out

(12:22):
Jeff Radcliffe's draft on the RBS todraft and fantasy. If you go wide
receiver early, it has more names, a little bit more breakdown there.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
