Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're listening to The Bible Guys, a podcast where a
couple of friends talk about the Bible in fun in
practical ways. Hey, good morning, everybody. Welcome to the Bible Guys.
I'm Chris, and this is Jeff and here we are.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
And I'm glad to be here, are you? Yeah? I am.
And today is a very special day, Chris. Why because
we are continuing this almost never ending quest to find
the very best Bible Guy's theme song. Right So it's
just consuming us right now.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Oh? Yes, wow? And I didn't know that we're trying
to figure out because you know, you've mentioned before we
should redo the roll in and all those kinds of things.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
For sure, So before we do that, only because it's
like we still headphones.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
On, it was a long time. It was a long
time ago, studios ago. Yes, So anyways, we're trying to
figure out this Bible Guy's jingle and so today what
we thought we would do is and this is one
of the most requested segments we do, by the way, Oh,
people love it when you do it. Last time we
did it, that you did you did a Bible Guys

(01:07):
jingle to the tune of the Stars starts Angel Banner,
which so far I think has the most votes. So
that's pretty good. Uh and and it has all of
the the fun ash and oomph that a show like
ours deserves. That so right. But on the other side,
because we're a podcast and a couple of guys who

(01:28):
like to talk about the Bible and finding practical ways
if you want listening to the rolling and so we
thought maybe you should try doing it to the tune
of the Golden Girls. Wow, just a couple of friends,
Yeah right, you know the tune thank you for me
and my yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
Yeah, okay, all right, So just a minute ago Jeff
went ahead and asked chat GPT.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
That's right, I typed it in. I typed in and
here's my question. My question was, help me write a
theme song for the Bible guys, a podcast about a
couple of friends who like to talk about the Bible
and fun of practical ways to the tune of the
Golden Girls theme song. That was the prompt. Yep. So
it's not that big of a deal, no, And this
is what it turned out to us. This brilliance, all right.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
This brilliance, all right, I'm gonna try this. I'm gonna
I'm gonna sing it lower. I'm not gonna make the
same mistake my friend.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Okay, here we go, Here we go.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
This is houtreads. They're just a couple of friends who
love to talk about the word. They laugh in, learn
with truths you may have never heard. That's so bad,
Don dun And if you threw a Bible party, oh yeah,

(02:37):
I don't know what that is and invited every guest,
you knew you would see the biggest Bible from me,
and the jokes would come from these two. They're just
a couple of friends. That's that's it.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Wow, that was rough.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
All right. So if we were the Golden Girls, which
one would you be?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
I would be of course Betty White, would you Yeah,
Betty White's the goat.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
And I'm probably in my madge. Is that? That's that's
you kind of the groupie you have to be. Okay, anyways,
that's terrible. Anyways, Uh, that was ridiculous, Chris.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Hey, I I definitely need a.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
Low moment in the show.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
That's a low moment.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
They're just a couple. Yeah, that was so low. They're
just a couple of friends.

Speaker 2 (03:34):
Oh, there you go. See that's someone.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
You love to talk about the words.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Well, I think you went low this time because you
started off the star spangled banners.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
So much and heard oh there it goes out, he
goes and if you threw a party, oh I'm sorry,
a Bible party. Who throws a Bible party and invited
every guess you knew?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah you.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Let's see the biggest battle from me and the jokes
would come from these two. Thank you for Oh no,
they're just a couple of frees.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
So so the biggest Bible from me? Is that metaphorical
or is that literal?

Speaker 1 (04:15):
I'm definitely assuming it's literal.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Literal?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah, like a like a family Bible, family Bible, Yeah
you have one? Are you? Are you saying that like
I have the most Bible knowledge? That's what it's timing.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
I don't know. That's why I was That's what I
was asking because I would feel, you know, like maybe
like that was a diss.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
Yes, so I can make fun of I can make
fun of your shirt or your hair or your truck.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
None of that matters. None of that matter matter.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
Don't you dare say?

Speaker 2 (04:40):
How big dare.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
You are more of a Bible guy than me?

Speaker 2 (04:43):
That's right because it ends with we're friends, and I
don't want to jeopardize it. That's true. Let's keep things.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
That is true. That's true. That is so funny, it's ridiculous,
Whereas I would probably be more offended about the hair.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Yeah yeah, yeah, So that kind of troubles me that
you were implying that you had bigger Bible than me.
You know what Jesus said. Jesus said, don't let your
hearts be troubled.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Oh wow, wow, Mercy, that was even worse than yesterday's.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
So you don't know. We always do these dumb segments
at the beginning, if your first time listener, we do
these dumb segments at the beginning just to laugh, because
we like to laugh. And then we always try to
find a transition into the devotional part, the Bible parts,
and we try to make the worst possible transition, and
that that was a pretty bad one.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Well, do not let your hearts be troubled. And I
got to tell you John fourteen is one of my
favorite things to quote at Believe or not at funerals.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Yeah yeah, good, yeah, yeah, because I just you're a
big fan, big fan of I love how.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
He multiple times in this passage says that phrase do
not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid,
because I think that that's really what he's doing, is
he's trying to say, Hey, understand, heaven is a reality.
Understand this is a comforting thought. Don't be worried. Right,
I've got this. There's a reality that I'm trying to

(06:08):
explain to you that is just as real as the
reality that you find yourself in. So that's why I
like it.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
So in John chapter fourteen, verse one, he says, don't
let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust
also in me. There is more than enough room in
my Father's home. And if this were not so, what
I've told you that I'm going to prepare a place
for you. When everything is ready, I will come and
get you so that you will always be with me
where I am. And you know the way to where
I'm going. No, we don't know, Lord Thomas said, we

(06:34):
have no idea where you're going, So how can we
know the way? Jesus told him I am the Way,
the Truth, and the life, and no one can come
to the Father except through me. If you'd really known me,
you would know who my father is from now on.
You do know him and have seen him. Philip said, Lord,
show us the Father and we'll be satisfied. Jesus replied,
have I been with you all this time, Philip, and

(06:54):
yet you still don't know who I am. Anyone who
has seen me has seen the Father. So why are
you asking me to show him to you? Don't you
believe that I am in the Father and the Father's
in me. The words I speak are not my own,
but my Father, who lives in me, does his work
through me. Just believe that I am in the Father
and the Father's in me, or at least believe because

(07:14):
of the work you have seen me. Do I tell
you the truth. Anyone who believes in me will do
the same works I have done, it even greater works,
because I'm going to be with the Father. You can
ask for anything in my name and I will do
it so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes,
ask me for anything in my name and I will
do it. Wow, there you go, there you go.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
Yep, So Jesus is there's a lot of red letters
here is This is all Jesus all the time right here? Yes,
and he's talking about the way to the Father. But
before we get to that part of it, he starts
off this, well, this thought. I was going to say
this chapter, but there was no chapter.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Which back then don't for chapter fourteen. Yes, let not
your true heart's betrothed.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
So he's saying hearts be troubled. And then the statement
that comes after that that's connected to it, or the
reason why he's saying that is because he says, trust
in God and trust also in me.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Right.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
In other words, what he's saying is everything that I'm
telling you is true. Yes, everything that I promise is true.
If you believe in the God, the Father of the universe,
then believe in me. And then he says, I am
the Father, are one, And he talks about you know,
his what I want to say, like his deity, his

(08:33):
claim to be equal with the Father, his importance as
he is the only way to the Father, and do
you not believe that I am the Father and the
Father is in me? And so he's equating himself to
the Father, right, which is awesome.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Well, I just had this thought just now. It's interesting
because you brought it up the other day. Yep. He
says the words I speak are not my own, but
my Father, who lives in me, does his work through me. Right.
So he's saying, these works, these words, the things I do,

(09:14):
I'm not doing them on my own. I'm doing them
through the power of my Father in me. And I
thought that was interesting because I always make the claim
that Jesus is doing this through the power of the
Holy Spirit. It's immediately after he says that sentence that
he says, let me introduce to this idea of the
Holy Spirit, right, So they didn't know what the Holy

(09:39):
Spirit was in the Jewish culture. In the Jewish belief system,
there was God the Father. That's it. So, so that's why
it was shocking to have this idea that God the
Father would have a human son. That was a shocking idea.
That Jesus says, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father.
Another place, he says, I and the Father were one.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Why he says that here, yeah, yeah, well no, no,
you're right. He says, I'm in the Father and the
Father's in me, right.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Right, And so he says, if you've seen me, you've
seen the Father. I and the Father were one. He says,
the Father's in me. That's how all these things are happening.
And then he goes, let me, let me, let me
introduce one more idea to you. And then he introduces
the Holy Spirit. Because the Father, the Father, the Son,
and the Holy Spirit one God, three persons, right, And

(10:30):
so what he's saying is here he's equating his power
to the fact that he's connected to the Father. And
then he introduces them to the idea of the Holy Spirit.
And this is the moment the first time the Holy
Spirit comes up in Jesus teaching. Isn't that interesting?

Speaker 1 (10:46):
Yeah, well, we didn't read the Holy Spirit part to me.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
No, no, no, no, it comes up. It comes up next.
But what I'm saying is he says, my power comes
from my Father, and then he introduces limit. Let me
explain to you. Really, how the power comes to me
is the same as going to be for you. I'm
going to give the Holy Spirit to you.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
We think that's great, yeah so so so technically no
good technically because technically all we're saying here is it's
not Jesus powers, it's God the Father powers.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
Yes, yeah, but that's the same powers available to you.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
The God the Father power through the Holy Spirit power.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Yeah, yes, yeah, I every So tell me a miracle
other than his own personal resurrection. Tell me a miracle
that another human.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Didn't do, another human didn't do. Well, that's assuming that
I believe that people have raised people from the dead.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Well they did, Paul did.

Speaker 1 (11:38):
Oh I'm in the Bible. I was, I was thinking today.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Yeah yeah, well they were real people.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
Yes, I know, thank you, thank you. They were real humans. Yes, yes,
I know they were. So yeah, no, you're right. Other
than walking on the.

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Water, Elijah made the axe head float. Well, I mean
that's that's the same same principle. Okay, sure, solid thing
that floated.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
Sure, sure, yeah, yeah, yeah, I mean it's not a human.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
But yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm telling you. So anyways, that's
the whole other thing. So here, the main idea in
this passage really is wait, wait.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
We can't move on without without you have a sense
that you're that you're leaning towards the fact that this
proves anything. Whereas what I'm saying is I'm saying both
can be true, both can be true. So so what
I'm saying is everything you're saying is true. I don't
disagree with anything you're saying, right, but I'm saying that
doesn't disprove what I said, that's all, Okay. So I'm

(12:35):
saying is those two things can still be true at
the same time. That's all I'm saying, because everything.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
You're saying is in the power of the Holy Spirit
and his own Jesus powers.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
Yes, I'm saying. I'm saying that Jesus himself if he
were exactly like us, if he were if he were
at absolutely zero knowledge other than what the Holy Spirit
has given to him, then it wouldn't say certain things
that just like I felt power leaving me. That's one

(13:07):
of them, right. I think there's others, But I think,
but I think there are things in the in the
New Testament, like, for instance, another thing was they said
something about why is he doing these miracles? And Jesus
makes the comment and says, I'm doing these miracles for
one reason, and that is so that everybody knows that

(13:31):
I'm the Messiah. Right, So, so again that that that
proves to you that or should prove. I think that
there are some things that are reserved for Jesus that
he never intended for other men, for women to do.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
But that's what I just brought up is all these
miracles other people have done well in the fact that
he's yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
But the fact that he I think that they were
also referring to things that he spoke that came true
the his wisdom. I think that that statement was reserved
for the entire life of Jesus. And I just think that.
I think that there are some things that Jesus did
that were exclusively in his messiahship and his christ title

(14:16):
that wasn't reserved for us. And I think that, and
I think that Jesus made that clear.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Yeah. So it's funny our listeners going. Didn't guys just talking.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
About this yesterday, I know, I know, we brought it
up and started gloting. Well, so I had to say things.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
So when Jesus kicks off his ministry in Luke chapter four,
he says, the Spirit of the Lord is upon me
and then announces his ministries here, and this is right
after his baptism in Matthew, Jesus says, I cast out
these demons in the power of the Holy Spirit. So
there's multiple times when he mentions the spirit in direct
connection to his ministry. So was that Matthew had looked

(14:56):
it up again? Matthew twelve twenty eight. So I cast
out these demons and the power the always, but he
never references the idea of the Holy Spirit. He only
just like drops these hints. But he never explains to
the disciples who the Holy Spirit is until this moment
right here. This is is that the next passage that
we didn't read here, But he's connecting it to everything

(15:18):
I do. I don't do on my own. It's not
coming from me. It's coming from my Father. And he's
sending the message to them that later on when he says,
and you're going to do even greater things than these
than I did, he's connecting that it's possible that you
can too, through the power of my Father. And then
he explains it's through the Holy Spirit, right the Holy

(15:38):
Spirit the Father. So all of those things come back to,
quite honestly, where he's saying, I'm gonna bring you to
where I am in eternity, in my father's home, in
my father's house. When everything's ready, I'll come and get you.
I love that. What does that mean. I don't even

(15:59):
know what that means. To mence with you when I'm
done building this house. He created the entire universe in
six days, right, So how long does it take to bill?
It must be a nice house.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
You're gonna love it. I'm spending so much time on us.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah, or is it when it's your turn.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
It's getting vaulted ceilings arches for the doorway. These are
just normal square arches.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
The plaster work is impeccable, so the crown molding is
cut perfectly. Wait to see the home theater, right. So,
so I don't think he's talking about I'm in the
process of building this and when all the permits come through,
we're gonna come and get you.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
I think we had to go down to Hell and
get a contractor and everything.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
And the code official. Yeah. So, oh, oh my goodness.
So I don't think that's what he's talking about. When
I'm done building this, I'm going to come and get you.
An what he's saying is, when your time is done,
I'm going to come and get you. Is that what
do you think he's saying?

Speaker 1 (17:12):
Yeah, yeah, I do.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
I do, because when it's ready for you, when I'm
ready for you, I'm going to come and get you.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
I personally think this falls into the same category as
all the other analogies that Jesus makes, right, so he's
able to he's able to communicate truths through things that
people understand, which is why he says he separates the
sheep and the goats, right, It's the reason why get
they're literally not sheep and they're not goats right right.

(17:40):
There are those who know him those who don't know him,
So this is something that people can understand. He's talking
about a house. He's preparing. There's room, You're welcome, you know.
Back then, in the Middle East and even today, in
some cultures, what they do is they just continue to
build on to structures, so as the family grows, they
don't just ship them off like Americans do. Hey, you're eighteen,

(18:01):
get on my household, right, that's the American mentality, that's
the West mentality. But in the Middle East even today,
they just continue to build bigger houses and stay together
as a family, which is why you and I drive
around them. We see these million dollar mansions and we say, oh,
you know, that's that's I know who lives there, right,
because that's that culture and that's what they do, you know,

(18:23):
And so I think that that's what he's doing. He's
using a literal house building metaphor for talking about a
place for them.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
In heaven, so that when everything's ready. That's the joke
I was making this. I think it's I think what
he means is when I'm ready for you, Yes, I'm
going to come and get you. And I love that
that this death process, you're not alone. It feels alone, right,
but you're not a loan. He said, I'm going to
come and get you. Bible says it's a pointed that

(18:53):
a man wants to die and after this the judgment,
so I have an appointment. I think he's referencing that
appointment right when everything's ready. But I love the fact
that he's going to come and get us. He doesn't
leave us alone. He comes and gets us. Uh. I
have to travel to India just in a couple of days,
and I've already coordinated who who's you know, who's going

(19:16):
to meet me at the hotel, Who's going to meet
me at the right It helps a lot when you're
in a new culture, when you're going to a new place,
you kind of set up. It helps a lot when
somebody's standing there. When you walk out of the airport
in the international airport, somebody's got to sign with your
name on it right right. My wife and I we
had to go. We flew to New Delhi a while back,
and the hotel we were staying in sent a car.

(19:37):
It was a nice, really nice hotel, and they sent
a car. And this guy's standing there and the guy's
hat on and his fancy uniform and he's holding the
sign it says Jeff and Bonnie Ports or mister and
missus Forster what it says on the thing. So it's
just chaos. There's so many people, there's so much going on.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
There's so many people.

Speaker 2 (19:54):
There's a there's in India and and and there. There's
there's a certain amount of anxiety of I don't know
where to go. I don't know what to do, I
don't know all the customs. I don't know even know
how to speak the language right right, But man doesn't
help when somebody says, I'll be there for you. We
were just same thing Morocco, and we had a friend
that one of the guys I was traveling with knew him,

(20:17):
and so he met us with his own personal car
and he got us and he took us to his
house and his wife made this amazing dinner for us,
and it felt so much more comfortable having somebody that
you know meet you there, get you to their home
and feed you. Right. And I love the attitude of that.
It feels so much better when you know all you're

(20:39):
doing is when you get off the plane, you're going
to meet Jesus and he's got it under control, and
you're going to go to his dad's house and it's
gonna be amazing. That's what he's saying. He doesn't tell
us tons about eternity, but he does say it's going
to be okay, and I've got you covered and I've
planned for you. You're not just some stranger in some
strange country. You're a guest. You're a fan member of

(21:01):
the king, and you're going to be invited into the
house when he's ready for you. Yeah. So I love that.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
And so Jesus talks about heaven and talking about them
and he says, I will always be with you. You'll know
where I am and you'll know the way. And he's
talking about heaven, right, and then and then Jesus and
then Thomas Thomas is disciples say, uh no, we don't know, Lord,
we have no idea where you are going, So how
can we know the way. It's it's almost like you're
you know, he's talking about one thing and Thomas has

(21:28):
no idea what he's talking about.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
I have no idea where we're going next.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Yeah. Yeah, It's like it's like you remember when.

Speaker 2 (21:33):
He was going to Nazareth again, right, heading down to Jerusalem?

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Right, do you remember when he was Uh, he just
got done with the woman at the well and uh,
And they said, Lord, aren't you hungry? And he said,
I have food that you don't know about. And they're like,
who gave him food?

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Right? How do you food? Hey?

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Are you? Are you carrying a Snickers? Yeah? It's like,
what do you It's like they have no idea. They're like, like,
who brought him food? They're so literal, they're so literal,
and Jesus always speaks in these metaphors. So then Thomas says,
what do you mean. We don't know, we don't know
the way. How can we know the way? Jesus is
still talking about heaven. He's way up here, and he says,
I am the way, I am the truth, I'm the life.

(22:10):
No man comes to the Father except through me. You
want to know the way you're looking at him? Right,
And it's just it's an incredible conversation of just showing
like It's like Nicodemus too in John chapter three where
he says you must be born again and he says,
you mean I'm supposed to crawl into my mother's womb,
And He's like, how could you be a rabbi and
not understand the metaphor the spiritual things in which I'm

(22:32):
talking about?

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Right, So then Philip goes, well, just show us the
Father then, if you're the only way to the Father,
show us the Father.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Yeah, and you'll be satisfied.

Speaker 2 (22:38):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, prove it?

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Right? He say, hey, we're prove it, indicating we're not
currently satisfied. Right, We're not satisfied with that claim.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
I love these guys. I love these guys, and sometimes
I feel like I'm that thick headed yeah that I
just don't always get it.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
But well, he calls Philip out. Have I been with
you all this time? Philip? And you still don't know
who I am? Right, anyone has seen me. Wh's seen
He's seen the Father? So wow, what what a claim?
And so Jesus is coming out with it here because
after all, he's coming to the end, right, this is
this is Uh, he had already predicted Peter's denial. Uh,

(23:17):
he already predicted his betrayal just before this, and he's
coming to the end. He's sort of holding nothing back,
isn't he.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
And it's at the end of this chapter where I
mentioned at the very beginning. It's at the end of
this chapter where he says, do not let your hearts
be troubled, do not be afraid. After he promises the
Holy Spirit, he promises peace and peace of mind and heart,
which is what I just absolutely love, because you know,
Christians do possess supernatural peace, you know, and it's it's

(23:49):
given through through God's power in our lives, through the
power of the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
So so this phrase, which I've already referenced many many
times over the last several weeks, this is any one
who is verse twelve, I tell you the truth. This
is what King James and barely verily I say under the.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
That's right, referenced by the way less than twenty times
in the whole Gospels. Yeah, yeah, when he says I
tell you the truth, it's only twenty times.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
Yeah, And he's really leaning in going listen.

Speaker 1 (24:16):
Yes, listen, closely and listen carefully.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
There's no debate about this one. Yeah right, this is
absolute truth.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Scholars refer to this as a double amen.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Oh yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
When he says, truly, I tell you, it's a double
a men.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
So he says, I will tell you the truth. Anyone
who believes in me will do the same works I've done,
and even greater works because I'm going to be with
the Father. You can ask me for anything in my name,
and I'll do it so that the Son can bring
glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in
my name, and I will do it. We've talked about
this before. That's not about a maserati, right, right, or whatever.

(24:49):
He's talking about the works I've done. If you need
help from me, I'll make sure that you get it.
And then he pivots from there into if you love me,
keep my commandments, and then I'm going to send that
Holy Spirit. I'm going to ask my Father to send
no spirit. So the fact that the Holy Spirit is
sent by the Father and him saying my power comes
from the Father, that's a whole other thing. But so

(25:12):
he's saying, your mission is the same mission I'm on,
because there's going to be so many of you. You
guys will do far more than I did. Jesus whole
ministry was relegated to this little country the size of
New Jersey. And even then he didn't cover all the
ground there, right, He mostly was between Jerusalem and Galilee.
That was it, right, like ninety miles. And so he's

(25:36):
he's saying, listen, you guys will go everywhere and you'll
reach everybody, and you're going to get the gospel all
around the world the impact. And I love this because
I'm inspired by this idea that Okay, He's going to
come and get me when he's done with me. And
I've said this before. I'm invincible until he's done with me.
So are you right? Right? We all are right? We
all feel like, oh, what if we get canceled, What

(25:57):
if we lose our job? What if we Dude, you
are in vincent until God's done with you. You need
to get on his mission. You get on his mission.
You can ask him for anything you need and he'll
provide for you. That's it, dude, what's his mission to
seeking to say?

Speaker 1 (26:09):
That?

Speaker 2 (26:09):
Which was a loss? If you just recognize the fact
you're in your office because there's lost people in your office,
you live in your neighborhood, because there's lost people in
your neighborhood. God puts you in the school that you're in,
or or in the family that you're in because there's
lost people there. And he says, you will do greater
things than I did, and if you need any help,
I'll help you. That's what he says. What kind of

(26:29):
promise is that? And yeah, we just kind of gloss
over it. We like to have in part. We don't
think about the mission part too much. When he's done,
he's gonna come and get you. It's gonna be great.
Between here and there. I got a plan for You're
gonna do greater things than me. And it's it's one
of the most inspiring passages in the Bible.

Speaker 1 (26:43):
To me, that's awesome.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
And then I love the fact that he ties to
the Holy Spirit into it. He said you can do
it too.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
That's great. Well, hey, that is our time, so hopefully
we will see you tomorrow on the Bible gush
