let's start with the NFL preseason. Man, what's on your mind?

Well, I'm gonna say, you know, I got some good
news today from Adam Schefter. He said bo Nicks and
named the starter. Now, I was last time saying, you know,
I'm excited about it, and I know it's look, you
can only take a little bit from the preseason, but
what I saw, I appreciate it. And even if and
I know this is the case because you got people
listening to you didn't even know these scheme up the blaze, Like,

that's fine. I don't care if it's a script for
the first fifteen to twenty thirty players of the game.
The man is still out there being able to put
on the performance and move the ball. We haven't seen.
We've been the donkeys stuck in the mud recently. So
it's nice to see us get up and down the field.

forcing it, he's hitting his dump off, his main targets,

I want to see him set this quarterback up for success.
If this is the guy that's going to basically save
his legacy, because what do we know about Sean Payton.

I'm optimistic because our situation is looking up. I honestly say,
how well we played the Chiefs. We beat them that

I believe we're going to get Chiefs and Broncos. They're
going to be the games you want to watch nowadays
because I think we finally got someone level headed. That

quarterback still has enough athleticism, still grainy, right, and you have,
you know, a little bit jittery, but I'd much rather
have more awareness and be jittery and getting rid of
the ball quick than taking sacks. And that's what was happening,

get their Robert Griffin, the third Heisman winning quarterback, I honestly,

when we were talking about the AFC East UH and
the NFC East and you you agreed with me saying
Washington will probably finished second in that division behind Philly
and we will see. Man, I'm stoked. What do you
think out of jayde and Daniels quarterback for the Washington Commanders.

Well, I think there's a lot of talent over there. Brian,
Brian Robinson, don't forget they always get much his name, the.

Receiver Scry Terry Terry. Yeah, yes, I think that this.

Is a quarterback away of containing for the playoffs or I
mean trying to make a deep push for the playoffs
like a wild card. I can see that happening because

Commanders will the Washington football team. I'm just glad it's

years back, like you had to get on the waiting list.
You were hoping to get it. And you know, what
we've known in my lifetime is basically just mediocre football.
So maybe this is a brand new owner. I saw

came in and started spending a bunch of money. Now
you see, okay, franchise quarterback drafting the first round, brand

new owner. Let's see what we could do to change
the culture around here, because it was rated arguably one
of the worst football cultures in locker rooms around and
that's a shame.

If you have a toxic workplace. You could love exactly
what you do and be good at it and great
at it and get admiration from your clients and all that,
but at the end of the day, you have a
toxic workplace that doesn't appreciate you, underpays you, burns people
out and all of that. And I'm just like, you know,

The first game was good too. He made a nice
drive the first time he was the first series, I
think was did did good on the second game. He
put up some numbers. I like what I'm seeing Chicago.
Like I said, they have a lot of weapons there.
So a running game, good receivers, good tight end. I

think they're gonna might be the Rookie of the year
right there.

Wow, just jump the other two completely. Huh. But let
me ask you this. The Bears, when you think they're
going to the playoffs, but you said they're going to
a Rookie of the years, which you said, that means
they're going.

Well, that division itself, it's stocked from from head to
to all of two Minnesota. That's what I was, I
think this division is going to be a toss up.
Whoever gets win wins this division. They're gonna be in
the playoffs, and maybe second might even be in the
playoffs in the wild card.

Maybe, but you think those could be one of those
situations where they cannibalize each other and like they keep
beating up on each other in division play and kind
of allowing other teams to come up. So maybe only
one team gets out of that division. Obviously, Honestly, if
I'm you know, optimistic, I'm looking at the Lions, I'm thinking,
you know, I'm on Saint Brown. I'm thinking, you know,

hopefully Jared Goff, who has gone to a super Bowl
with the Rams. But no, no, look, look, Bears, you
talk about weapons, because we were talking about the Commanders
and we were like, oh, they got scary Terry and
who else? Right, but the big Theirs is loaded, and
we I'm hoping in terms of fantasy, like some teams,

you kind of want to stay away, Like Christian Kirk
has already hurt with the Jaguars, so I'm like kind
of fade them because I couldn't really believe in his production.
When the Calvin Ridley was there last year anyway, but
now I'm not theirs, and I'm like, well, if I
get Keenan Allen and I get you know, as a
possession receiver, and I can get you know, the rookie

o'doon saying like maybe he's he's my big play, he's
my say Flowers of this year. Maybe. Yeah, I'm thinking, honestly,
it's probably gonna be the worthy hit. The Kansas City
picked up zager Worthy, They're gonna use him. Andy Reid's

the edge, not so much in like a Tyree fashion,
because there's really no way to.

I'm thinking about going wide receiver wide receiver instead of
running back wide receiver, do you know what I mean?

Like the game is changing, it's more pass heavy. Should
is my advantage to get some of these high volume guys,
like you said, you gotta Puka Nakua, who's averaging a
sixteenth average pick for most leagues that I've drafted right now,
So that basically means second round, but going rather quick,
depending if you're in a ten or twelve person league. Yeah,

On my last draft that I did, I went to
go two receivers because all the good running backs was
gone majority of them. You got your j Robinson, Gibbs,
you got your McCaffrey's, and a couple of receivers was there,
like Jeffers was gone. Hill was gone, Yeah, Saint Brown

tight end like a Mark Andrews, who obviously was involved

position is something you can kind of fade. This year

house schedules been doing, who has the toughest schedules. The
upcoming I think was Chiefs and raven is going to
be doing the opening night, Yeah, on Thursday. So that's

Let me ask you this, okay, because we know how
the Chiefs and the Ravens played in the AFC Championship
Game last year, and we saw how the Ravens were
able to run the ball up and down the field
on everybody else except for the Chiefs, where they didn't
even really attempt it. So if they come back stick
to their game plan now with a new loaded backfield

with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry back there, Let's say
they blow out the Chiefs the first game of the season.

an opening night they lost to Detroit. Yeah, and to

you guys won like five, six, eight straight something like that.
I don't know the exact number, but are you concerned
about your rival? The San Diego Padres who are actually
getting hot themselves. I mean a little bit of injury

that's for every other, every team that's in the major
leagues this type, this time of year. But you can't
count them out. Those guys play you guys really well
the playoffs.

on every series in the whole the whole year against us,
and they're they're they're tough, they can hit, they get pictures,
good defense, and don't forget Arizona two's just right behind us,
get like two three games in the back of us.

Well in the Diamondbacks too. They're just they are an
exciting team to watch. Baseball I think has benefited for
sure with the pace of play and introduction of the pitch.
But the Diamondbacks are just a team. You said, good defense,
ball flying off of the bat. You never know who's
gonna be hot in that night. And I mean, I

think it's good for baseball to have such tight divisions
coming down because for me, if if you're going to
the postseason, you're going to play these series, which I
think what the first series or the playing series is
what two games, three game series, not a five game,
seven game series. Yeah, yeah, so in forgive me. I'm

not entirely because baseball has been changing a lot of
roles to try to stay relevant recently. But I'm excited
when I see a team like the Diamondbacks that are
in contention whether or not they make a late season run,
I like to see it. I like to see anybody
but the Houston Astros up there, them cheaters get them out.
By golly, he's a weasel. I think they should have

had their title vacated, but Baseball will never do that
because their union is too strong. But I'm excited to
see how this plays out, specifically if getting Kershaw some help,

because I think we finally got someone level headed. That

me ask you this. The Bears, when you think they're

Well, that division itself, it's stocked from from head to
to all of two Minnesota. That's what I was, I
think this division is going to be a toss up.

Maybe, but you think those could be one of those
situations where they cannibalize each other and like they keep
beating up on each other in division play and kind
of allowing other teams to come up. So maybe only
one team gets out of that division. Obviously, Honestly, if

you know, I'm on Saint Brown. I'm thinking, you know,

hopefully Jared Goff, who has gone to a super Bowl
with the Rams. But no, no, look, look, Bears, you
talk about weapons, because we were talking about the Commanders
and we were like, oh, they got scary Terry and
who else? Right, but the big Theirs is loaded, and
we I'm hoping in terms of fantasy, like some teams,

has already hurt with the Jaguars, so I'm like kind
of fade them because I couldn't really believe in his production.

possession receiver, and I can get you know, the rookie

run through the playoffs, and I hope we get the

you guys won like five, six, eight straight something like that.
I don't know the exact number, but are you concerned
about your rival? The San Diego Padres who are actually
getting hot themselves. I mean a little bit of injury

bugs coming in, you know, But like that, you said,
that's for every other, every team that's in the major
leagues this type, this time of year. But you can't
count them out. Those guys play you guys really well
the playoffs.

Some solid they got our number. You know, they go
on every series in the whole the whole year against us,
and they're they're they're tough, they can hit, they get pictures,
good defense, and don't forget Arizona two's just right behind us,
get like two three games in the back of us.

So yeah, it's getting tight in the NS.

Well in the Diamondbacks too. They're just they are an
exciting team to watch. Baseball I think has benefited for
sure with the pace of play and introduction of the pitch.
But the Diamondbacks are just a team. You said, good defense,
ball flying off of the bat. You never know who's
gonna be hot in that night. And I mean, I

think it's good for baseball to have such tight divisions
coming down because for me, if if you're going to
the postseason, you're going to play these series, which I
think what the first series or the playing series is
what two games, three game series, not a five game,
seven game series. Yeah, yeah, so in forgive me. I'm
(25:33):
not entirely because baseball has been changing a lot of
roles to try to stay relevant recently. But I'm excited
when I see a team like the Diamondbacks that are
in contention whether or not they make a late season run,
I like to see it. I like to see anybody
but the Houston Astros up there, them cheaters get them out.
By golly, he's a weasel. I think they should have
(25:55):
had their title vacated, but Baseball will never do that
because their union is too strong. But I'm excited to
see how this plays out, specifically if getting Kershaw some help,
getting some pitching back for the Dodgers to see if
they can because that's where they're lacking. They need that.
But when you see one goes down to so now

show Hay is still leading off and Mookie goes down,
he strikes out because you know he's trying to hit
one four hundred and fifty feet. You know, Mookie is
trying to make up for lost grounds. Or he goes
down and all of a sudden, you get into it. Like, oh, shoot,
we didn't score any runs in the first and now
our pitching is inadequate. And we know that again we
talked about it the first time since you know twenties

that you give up three five nothing leads five runs period.
You know in the back of your mind that can
happen if your bats go quiet.

So you know this.

For me, this is exciting and this takes the big money.
One person I'm really excited to see late in the
postseason is Aaron Judge.
Speaker 1 (26:57):
Man.

I mean, you think about forty five home runs and
I mean just just a prolific hitter. You see that
big ninety nine come up there. It's just just a
huge specimen of a man swinging.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Them, just consistency coming up to bad And I like.

It because he faced adversity. He was slumping last year
before he went on that big old run that he had,
and he was bad in like one p. Fifty seven.
You know, home runs would come every so often, but
he was getting booed in Yankee Stadium, and he didn't
let the pressures in New York crush him. He stepped
up to the play, literally knocked it out of the park.
And that's that's I'm excited. I mean, the Yankees are

in it, Dodgers. It'd be nice to see both of
those teams in the for the Pennant, right.

Yeah, don't forget.

Baltimore's right there too, behind the New York Yankees. I
think there seventy four and seventy four.

It is tired right now.

Cleveland is another seventy three win team. Houston they probably
might win that division. Yeah, it's gonna look like a nice,
nice run to the playoffs right now.

Then, all right, so, I mean you're gonna buy your
tickets and it's on your bucket list. You're gonna get
out there if the Dodgers because you know those windows
coming and go so that I don't and go. And
obviously your son's going back to Milwaukee about to go
see Yana's play again, even though I think he's wasting
his money because Milwaukee ain't got nob out there. He's like,

look at me, I was a world champion in twenty
twenty one against my sons, and then you know, look
at me, I'm a World Olympic champion. Here animal world
champion with the Celtics. Giannis is complaining about him and
not get any help Dame came, but Dame is never
going to get a ring, and it sucks. I really
like Damian Lillar, like the undersized cards, but I mean, look,

we'll see. I think you should save up your your
shekels and and ask your lady for some tickets to
go for Christmas. I think you should make that happen
because baseball baseball, like I said, it's pretty inexpensive. Now,
I don't, I don't know what it is. LA and
the Dodgers sell four menion tickets a year, but it's uh.

I think it's one of those things you don't want
to wait on. Man. You want to go.

Yes, especially now when they're winning the al be perfect
if you can see them window at least the clinching
to the playoffs.

You know you deserve it. You get up and go
to work all the time. And that's for anybody listening
to man. You know, don't have that when I call

to everybody else and you got nothing. You can't pour

gonna be time to enjoy and do those things, and

all the time is now there is no get a
job and work forty years and get a gold watch
