football is here. I finally drafted my fantasy team, so
you know, I got to tell you all about it,
and I definitely want to hear yours. How you feeling
about your draft? Man?

I feel really good being in the spot in out
of twelve.

Oh that's in okay, see went back to back. I
think we did talk about that last time. And that's
just the one league or you're in. How many leagues
treat leagues?

See that's the thing. I talked about it last time.
Only I didn't want to go against myself. So I'm
only gonna be in one league and put all the
focus in there, and that way, I'm not rooting against somebody. Right. Oh,
I need Marvin Harrison Junior to score a touchdown, but
I also need him not to score touchdown because he's
gonna blow my parlay. Like I don't want to be
doing that, right So, but I feel good about my team.

I'm just running down real quick. I took Lamar Jackson,
I took b Jon Robinson with my first pick. Nice
came back with Ittsi and Junior Jacksonville running back. He
scored a lot of touchdowns. Got Lamar Jackson with the
third pick. Davonte Smith, Jalen Waddle, Nice Ferguson Dallas's tight end.
Amari Cooper is my flex. I took Zia Zaia Franklin

my linebacker. He scores a lot of points forty nine
ers defense. And then Jake Elliott as my kicker. And
then I took a couple of long shots. I took
Nick Chubb, who I know is out to start the season,
but he was really productive for me last year before
he got hurt, and I'm excited to see what he
could do later. I wanted I wanted to get Jerome
Ford for somebody beat me to it. I took Blake

Nice. That's a good pick. I heard good rapport coming
out of there.

I feel like the Karen Williams thing. We're going to
see him being a punt returner and all this. I
think Blake Koram is too good to not see the field.
And this is when you really want to get the
most out of these running backs. You're not paying them anyway,
so this I want to run him into the ground.
He's got fresh, young legs. I also took who's also
out to start the season. TJ Hockinson. We knew he

blew out his m c L a c L towards
the end of the season last last year, he didn't finish,
but he's got a lot of good upside and I
feel like they're going to really need his services in Minnesota,
so I'm willing to sit on him for a little
bit in the meantime to finish out by bench. Cole
Comet tight end who actually was just hanging around there.
I think he's going to be a big target for

rookie Caleb Williams quarter definitely, Yeah, and then I finish
up with Jamison Williams. I think Alman Brown is the
top tier, and for the Lions that's Jared gos guy,
but James and Williams, who knows the easter out of Alabama.
He can get down the field and get going, and
I felt like there was a little bit more stock

in him in his consistency and hopefully he can catch
the ball because that was his problem, you know what
I mean? Versus like a Xavier Worthy, who I know
is going to be a Andy Reid gadget guy. But
I just I couldn't get too Worthy, So I was like, well,
let me just kind of hang in and make sure
I get some of my bi weeks covered with a

little bit. So, I mean, that's my team right there.
I'm rolling with it and I feel good, roots and harmony,
ready to rock, ready to be nice.

Oh late man, I mean he's one of those I
was saying. He kind of dropped off like Cooper Cup did. Right,

he did get hurt before. Right, he was a dealer
with some injuries, Nick Knack injuries, and then all of
a sudden, you can get a Cooper Cup in the

I mean we'll see. Matt Stafford has a lot of
report with him, so I think he might rebound. But
for Mark Mark Cooper set the franchise record for the
Cleveland Browns and receiving yards last year, so he definitely
has enough in the tank. And Cowboy fans listening, they're
still mad and Jerry Jones for giving him away for

good about having him. My wide receiver's Davonte Smith, who's
just stud with the Philadelphia Eagles. Jalen Wattle Miami Dolphins.
They're his second. So I got basically two wide receiver
twos and then a Mark Cooper, who you could argue
if Deshaun Watson is good or I don't know, Jameis

Winston is there, put him in somebody can get the
ball to Mark Cooper because he had a great year
last year despite Poorker. So I'm excited, man, I'm excited.
You know who. I didn't draft Harrison Butker. Why why, golly,
he's a weez he weezl. I was gonna draft him

up before we got on that he has been released
from the hospital and he's back in the forty nine
ers facility. So this guy putting in the work amazing,
and you know, just just a sad thing to have

of course he had to drip, and I guess it
was a droolry. It was an attempted robbery or something.
But you know, a young man threw his whole life
away over some bling and almost took the life of
a young athlete who's supposed to revitalize that San Francisco's offense.

Because you know how I feel about Shanahan. They can't
do nothing, and you know neither can Ricky Pursol. And
for the first at least four games of the season,
he'll be out, missing the first four games. And that
seventeen year old that shot him was charged with attempted murder.
And I say good because you think about seventeen years old,

what he's doing. You just trying to get through his
street class and and and make it to your senior
year high school, or make it out of your senior
or in high school. And then you got somebody running
the streets trying to put a gun on somebody and
actually pulled the trigger.

Well it went through the man. That means it could
have struck someone else, old lady or a kid anti somewhere, Like, Yeah,
it's disgusting, and I hate that because there is enough violence.
We hear about it enough and every day, Yeah, it's
it's it happens. Unfortunately, everything that's going on overseas, and
there's always too many wars and whatnot. But when it

hits the sports world and like how tragic would it
have been? It seems like every off season we lose
someone a basketball player or a football player in a
car accident before they were supposed to make it big
in the league or something. But gun violence, I don't know,
it just hits me different because it's like, when is
enough enough? Maybe rob somebody could have change that's not

going to be enough to retire on. So that means
you're gonna rob and shoot somebody else.

That's a life you're giving up. Are good costs of

I just I never understand why this infatuation in this
country with people in guns and turning them on one

I just don't understand it. I just remember just seeing
that getting a notification of just being grateful that he
was okay, because Heaven forbid he wasn't. And that's that's

I don't want Niner fans to have any excuses.

course you want to feel like you're drafted good, you
got money on it, You feel good about your team.

And I had a chance to get either him or
brist Hall, and I thought, let me take bjeon because
this is not going to be like last year where

and we saw how athletic this guy. This guy, you
get the ball in his hands and he gets yards,
he gets touchdowns. He will produce, especially because Atlanta the

energy is going to be turned up. I predict Kirk
Cousins is going to be down by week four, week five,
Michael Pennix is going to come in and look back.
This is going to be another Brady blood Cell situation
where Kirk Cousins is going to ride off to the
sunset and get his one hundred million dollar contract and
Michael Pennix Junior is going to take over and be
this generation's you know, passing Michael Vick. I guess black

He's got a way better arm and for it to
seeing him and Atlanta do well. Atlanta is just not

Though he can't shoulder the load the way like Jon
Robinson was a highly touted pick coming out, like everybody
knew it and we saw it. It wasn't like he
was bottled up a very similar way we saw Jamiir
Gibbs last year, but the Lions were intent on feeding
Montgomery instead of Gibbs. So I think he's going to
have a standout year two if they're not splitting the

carrieres as evenly. But the pick I'm most excited about.
And I know I'm really long witted talking about this,
and some people think he's just beusy football. We don't
want to hear all right, nobody can take my joy.
This is a very exciting time. But Lamar Jackson, my quarterback.
I'm excited to see his growth. I heard he's faster

than ever, has slimmed down, he's got the best running
back he's had in his backfield, Yes, Derrick Henry. And
you could say that might sneak some of the carries
away from him, but I think he's going to He's
going to try to blow the league away and show
them like now I'm a better passer than when I
came into the league three years ago, four years ago,
and now I'm faster than ever as well. And when

I don't run, you have to deal with this big
bruising back that is Derrick Henry. Which if he's averaging
yard to carry, you'll take it. This stage of his career,
he's got a lot body.

And they're going to run the ball a lot over there.

So better Todd munkin offensive coordinator, Hey, you listening, run
the ball. Their wide receiver corp is not as good
as the e Okay, it's not as good as the Bears,

put it on a part like Rashan Bateman and Jay Flowers.

like I did upgrade that as well as my running backs.
But I picked six instead of picking twelve in a

twelve person league, you know what I mean. It makes
a big deal that skill. And then once my injuries
happened Nick Chubb, who's on my bench currently out, once
he went down against the Steelers last week, I was done.
Mike Williams went down for the Chargers the week after that,
and I was scratching his survive and barely made the playoffs.

You know, that's his Every owner's nightmare it is having
You're having your your team just disintegrate every week, but
every weekend, every week.

And it's so frustrating.

put somebody else in that is producing. I don't owe

a quarterback that for the Broncos. That was upset. He's

rattles around at our head and when we come talking

talk about my Broncos real quick, and then I want

to hear about you and your rams for my team
predictions because before the season starts, it's just coming up quick.
I want to say my Broncos, I predict their team record,
and don't be mad at me, Broncos fans. I'm just
being real.

Eight but missing the playoffs. So I texted you originally
prior to the just but as I'm going through, we
play the AFC North and the NFC South, So I
was looking through. I ran through their schedule. Seahawks wins,
Steelers win because Russell Wilson is the quarterback, and we
know what that's gonna lot. Yeah, we already know. But

then we go two straight losses with going to the
Bucks that's a loss, and then Aaron Rodgers and the
Jets finally I think they get it going. So we're
at fifty five hundred four games in. We beat the Raiders,
which would be good to go above five hundred to
three and two, and the Raiders have had our tail recently,
but I think bon Nicks finally gets his sea legs

and starts whipping that ball around. Take a loss to
the Chargers. After that, will beat the Saints and beat
the Panthers for the NFC South, and they come back
with back to back losses to the Ravens and the
Chiefs on the road, come back and surprisingly beat the Falcons.
But I think that might be like Michael Pennix's first start.
So that's like Week eight, loose to the Raiders and

the Browns back to back. We'll beat the Colts and
the Chargers, with a loss to Joe Burrow and the Bengals,
and then beat the Chiefs at home at the final
game of the season. But that's because Mahomes and them
are already sitting their starters and it's just a moral
victory to go nine to eight. So again, Bronco fans,
you could say, you know, Louis didn't need to believe.

So I'm gonna say, listen, I'm just being real. I'm
looking at the skin, and you know, of course I
have faith. I did give them an overall winning record.
But I mean we'll see proved me.

Right, If what's his name your quarterback, well, if you
can stay healthy your old season, that's a good prediction
for you team.

And like you said, that's a winning season.

A winning season for a rookie, the first rookie since

Williams estimates toting the rock in the preseason. I want
to see some production. But again, I mean, I wrote

I think we did good in the draft grabbing the
too Florida State's uh defensive end and tackle. There was
a defensive team last year in Florida State and they
had They had one of the best defense in college
last year. So picking those two guys up and in
the draft got excited. We got Trail White, we picked

him up off a free agent. So I'm happy with cornerbacks.
Williams came back for one of our corners. I think
we're gonna have a good defense that I think we're
gonna surprise Warrant and what other people think.

Well, that would be good. You need it again, like
I said, with the firepower of the Niners have yes,
Zona getting better. This is a proven year for Kyler
Murray and now he's got a guaranteed bona fide number one,
even though he's never taken a snap by namesake alone
Marvin Harrison Jr. Which I wish I could have got him,
but I was trying to stay away from the rookie
wide receivers, learning my lesson from the hit and miss

and Zave Flowers last year. But he has a chance
to be something special in a way that I'm seeing
on the college level with Colorado Deon Sanders and his team.
I'm watching Jimmy Horn Junior, the son of Joe Horn,
Joe catch seven catches for one hundred and ninety eight

yards and a touchdow at North Dakota State, and I'm
just that's like, man, we're old. So you're telling me
Dion Sanders son is throwing the Sandals four hundred and
forty five pass yards and four touchdowns and and he's
thrown as a Jimmy Horn junior, who's who's just cutting
it up sixty nine yards score.

It was a great game. You know, I was pulled
for Colorado because you know all the hype and everything,
and you know, they they they scheduled these moneyball games
because they want to beat up on some talent. But

these guys win. I think they're nine to four against

like Division one opponents. Like playing them. People think, oh,
we'll go book this the Bisons, and the Bisons come
to town and start whopping on some tail. So you know,
I liked what I saw. It Basically is ken Shador
Sanders stay healthy and upright in the pocket because their
offensive and defensive line are their weak points. Still, they
struggled with this inferior I say inferior in quotes air

quotes opponent and weren't really moving. So I'm anxious to
see how they play on Saturday against Nebraska. And that's
Matt Ruhle, who's the former Carolina Panthers head coach who
got fired because he wasn't doing nothing. So seeing him

squad and see what they do. If if Colorado is
given some points, and you're a betting person, I say take.

I want the Rainbow Warriors to to succeed. But you

see something like that's on somebody's team, I'll propose trade.

Yeah, I would take him. When I saw that trade
go through, I was just like, well, wait a minute,
what's gone. I would definitely take him. I think somebody

me just give you Chris Godwin's career stats five hundred
and twenty nine receptions for six thousand, six hundred and

ninety yards. That's twelve point six yards and thirty four touchdowns.
So I mean, you're it wasn't like it was Julio Jones.
They being back in his thing right here. Chris Godwin is, Yeah,
he's been in the league for several years. But I

don't think that I don't think that that that was
a fair trade. So I'm looking here Drake London. Yep,
he's had two full seasons. He's got one hundred and
forty one career reception, so he's already outpacing Chris Godwin
seventeen hundred and seventy one yards, so he's had two

close to one thousand yard seasons, but not quite there.
Their average is the saying, and he's scored six touchdowns.
So Godwin with thirty four, I guess he's got his
gout of way. But that just shows me with that
final number that the majority of Godwin's touchdowns are behind him.
Where has a lot of upside. I mean, he was
a beast at usc SO, but I don't know, we'll see.
