Speaker 1 (00:00):
Scheer.
Speaker 2 (00:21):
What's up? What's up? Everybody? Welcome back to the Big
Island sports talk show. I am brother No, and always
with me is brother Matthew Parker.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
What up, man, I'm here man, coming to you from
the Ninth Island. I'm representing how you feeling today.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
Now, I'm good man. The birds are chirping, grass is greener.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
You know why White, why all this description? Because you've
got a team in the World Series.
Speaker 2 (00:45):
Oh you know that, Mat You definitely even know that
Dodgers is in. Take me out to the ball game.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
Take me out to the crowd.
Speaker 2 (01:04):
If you guys didn't know, it's gonna be Yankees against
the Dodgers, West Coast versus the East Coast. Let's get it.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
This is about as big as it gets right West Coast.
So it's like and.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
The Yankees was better in their al division and we
had the better team. So that's a perfect match.
Speaker 1 (01:22):
Man. This I'm glad you're excited. I was stoked for you.
You know, this is the most baseball I've watched all time.
And you know, we started this thing all the way through.
I don't know if baseball season was already going when
we started. I think it was because I was at
that time still doing some like updates and whatnot. I definitely,
you know, there's a lot to get to. But you know,
(01:43):
sports is great, Like we already got hockey back in regular.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
We got like four major sports going on right now
as we speak October.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
They say it's one of the best times, right basketball
it is. We're definitely gonna talk some Lakers down the
way because your boys are one and oh good start.
We had some history made there so his but let's
let keep going on on the World Series matchup. So
first off, that's got to feel good. Not only are you,
you know, going back to the World Series, but you
had to defeat the San Diego Padres to get That was.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
My biggest concern because in the regular season they got
a number. They they beat us, They beat us up
to the whole season. Yeah, they they got the better
and winning all series, well except for the last series,
right and.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
That was other than that Freddy Freeman in that last series,
and man, hey, well you know what, that's good. Congratulations
to you. I know what that's like when your team
has got a chance to bring home championship and you
did it without banging on any trash cans like the
get those guys out of here.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Man, I'm glad they got swept.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Didn't even think about it. It doesn't even matter because both
teams was out. But you know, I'm really really happy
to see you happy and you stoked and seen that.
Like I said, watching it, I was hoping the Dodgers
could come through and do work for you, and uh
and they did, you know, So that's that's gotta be great.
Just some history, just I'm sure you know they first
met in the World Series in nineteen forty one and
(03:09):
it used to be the Brooklyn Brooklyn Dodger. Yeah, Yankees
obviously playing in the Bronx, so nineteen forty one. The
most recent matchup was in nineteen eighty one, and the
Dodgers actually won that series four too, So most recently
you have winning pedigree against this team when it matters,
so you know that's got to I mean, obviously that
(03:29):
was years and years. Were you even born in nineteen
eighty one or were you alive that.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Was I was I think I was like what I
was like five.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
That negative nine, So yeah, I was born in nineteen
ninety so I don't know. But just some quick popular
things since you were at least alive right there. The
last time these two teams met in the World Series,
IBM just launched the fifty one to fifty personal computer. Okay,
MTV that was a big king.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
That was a big king.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Oh yeah, And then think about this, how we're on
this in tri Well, look me and you were on
Zoom right now. Like the fact that computers have matching.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
We came a long way, match a long way.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
And look, MTV had just premiered then Ronald Reagan was
president the last time these two teams mat. Here's the
one I like a lot Leo Tard's and ash and
wash clothing were popular. Fanny packs, Bro, you have a
fanny pack when you were a kid or what.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
You know? That definitely man.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
So look I say all that to say, this is
a big deal, right, Two of the biggest.
Speaker 2 (04:37):
Cities franchises cities.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Yes too, of the biggest highest payrolls as well, both
teams I think well over three hundred and eighty million
dollars on the payroll this year.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
So Johnny was worth every money, every penny. Show me the.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Money, show him the money. Where's it right? I think
I got the drop for you. Show me the money there,
it is there you go. So, no, that's good. But
I will let you know. The Yankees do lead the
all time series head to head with eighty eight total matchups.
They lead forty eight to forty, but regular season is
tied eleven to eleven. So whatever that means to you,
I don't think it Bradon really matters in this situation.
(05:13):
But I'm excited when first the first game starts with Friday.
Speaker 2 (05:16):
Friday, baby, man.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
You know that's gonna be much CETV, must see TV.
So you know hopefully that you I don't know what
time it starts, but hopefully you'll be settled in and
you can enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
No, I'm probably driving home. Usually I'm I'm like two
maybe three o'clock. They might play. I'm not too sure.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
I have to double phone yeah to make sure. Hey,
if you call it a little bit sick that day,
I can understand, right, I'll talk to you. I'll call
your manager and talk to them and let them know
that it's okay.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
I don't feel so good that day, really don't.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Won't be feeling good if they don't get the job done.
That's all I know, because the last two times that
you guys have been up like you jumped on them, right,
you're not battling back in the series. They take Game one.
So I'm just surprised that the Dodgers even made it
to this point because all year long, your picture pitching
staff has been held together, been hurt. Yeah, so you
(06:12):
know you gotta feel good about that. You already know
you have the bat of Mookie Betts, who has World
Series experience. You now you know shoe Hail Tani who
somehow made it healthily through as just batting this year.
And you've got him. You've got Freddy Freeman who hopefully
that hand those fingers are all good and he's doing well.
You even had Max Munsey reach based twelve times, which
(06:34):
tied to a franchise record. I think you know a
lot of that box.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
But don't forget mister Kiki Hernandez October himself.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Cut yeah, man, clutch, clutch, But that's what you need
in October, right, that's what propels you to start him
to great it. And you know, I'm really really glad
that you you're excited about this. I'm glad as my
co host I can celebrate with you. There's a lot
of Yankee fans here in Las Vegas. I'll tell you that.
Speaker 2 (07:04):
I bet, I bet they do.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Yeah, a lot of people are hating on the Dodgers.
In fact, my new boss both of them are from
New York, so they're big Yankee fan, you know what
I mean. So, but and you, of course, this is
no easy battle. You've got Juan Soto, you got Jean
Carlos Stanton, You've got Aaron Judge.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
All Aaron Judge, Yeah, all right for the Judge.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
So, I mean, honestly, I can't think of a more
star studded World Series matchup. And I'm excited. I really
am excited. It's going to be a good one, yeah,
you know, and it's lanky.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
Popcorn, relaxed and enjoyed the show.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
You enjoy the show, all right, because look, I know
you're even keel. It's not going to make or break
your day if they win or lose, but it'll be
a big deal. This will be the Dodgers' first World
Series victory since twenty twenty, right, and that was yeah
shut down. And the Yankees have have really been starving.
They haven't won the World Series since two thou nine.
Like I was fresh out of high school two thousand
(08:03):
and nine. Right, it's freshman in college, so a long time.
But it goes to show ye pay and pay and
pay and still never get there. That's how hard baseball is.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
So it is it is, Yeah, man, I mean, look,
what's well, tell me this, I mean, who's who's your
Let's just say that the Dodgers get the job done.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
What's your prediction?
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Seven? Game seven? We're gonna win that at all, hopefully
a pitch and then starts that game.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Well, okay, I was a pitcher. I'm glad you brought
that up because.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
I'm just but they are going to win in a seven.
That's a lot I'm predicted.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Okay, all right, So that's it. You guys heard it
here on the Big Island with the MVP, and there
it is. That was the next question, who is going
to be the World Series MVP? And it's a seven
hundred million dollar man according to Brother Noel here on
the Big Island sports talk show.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
I'm predicting it. I like the balls on this guy.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
Yeah, and I look, I've been riding with you the
whole time. You know, I said, I posted it on
the Instagram page this week. You're my God, I'm not
going against you. I'm saying Dodgers taking home here. I'm
saying they get it done in six though. Here's why
nice If it goes to seven games, I don't think
your pitching staff is going to hold up. Okay, you
got lucky with Tatist Junior and Manny Machado, right.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Yes, because murderers roll right there.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, they went cold though, I mean twenty three scoreless innings.
I'm glad Dodgers really patient baseball. I think they got
and they reached base by walking by being patient. So
credit to Dave Roberts. I know Dodger fans get on
him a lot for how his management style is navigating
the analytics, but you got to give credit what credit
(09:50):
is due. And he had his team prepared, but they
should have been. I mean, we spent eleven out of
twelve division titles and you go reach the postseason as
as often as they did win in the NLS. Your
team should be ready. You should be getting better at
this every time. So I'm hoping that they do bring
it home. And uh, you know, LA has something else
to celebrate. It's only four hours from where I am,
(10:12):
and you know, everybody's gonna say nice all the way
down the highway and come to Las Vegas. So you
know I'm not looking.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
Forward to definitely that that stadium is going to be
a rocket.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Yeah, man, Game one, that's you. I think we talked
about it a couple of episodes ago. It's on your
bucket list to get down there. I know you would
kill to get the World series just to see what
what it would be, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Like if I was there starting this week, I'll be
there for the Thursday night game against the Rams and Minnesota.
Then I'll probably catch a Laker game, maybe even catch
a Hugreds World Series. That'll never happen. It'll be costing
too much money. But no, some guys dream, you know,
(10:53):
dream about it.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Oh listen, you're talking about manifest that you bet why
you were card. You take care of your family, you
know October Now you have a good chance. You want
to see Lebron James before his career is over. If
not Lebron, at least you got Brownie to watch, right,
But don't don't manifest that this will never happen right there,
you know what I mean, Like you got to put
(11:14):
it on you will see it's a possible we.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
Will do this.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
I will say this time next year, right if I
hit when I hit the megabucks, you see what I said,
Not when I hit the megabucks, I'm gonna make sure
your teams, how about that? Right?
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Nice?
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Nice? But basically you're gonna need the megabucks to uh
to be able to afford a ticket. So you know,
just write average ticket price right like it's it's gonna be.
I mean, look, I just what do you think it is?
Right now? I'm looking at seat geek, what do you
think an average ticket price for game one at home? Bits?
Speaker 2 (11:51):
All depends where we're at outfield or behind the plate.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
This is okay, I guess you're right, does depend. But
let's see for the first I'm gonna say, okay, say
two tickets me and you to go to the game.
Oh my gut, I can't even bro Okay, let's just
say we're at the top deck, we're at the nose bleeds.
What do you think it's the ticket average ticket prece
just to throw out a number.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
True grind for both of us.
Speaker 1 (12:18):
Show me the money, okay, so we can both get
in for eleven hundred dollars and we're at the.
Speaker 2 (12:24):
Top, nice top top.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
That's no bleed top time. I'm looking at what you
think behind the plate costs. I didn't even know tickets
was eight eighteen thousand dollars. You're talking about showing me
the money, bro. We got to hit the megabucks two
times just to get in. But if you want to
be in those bleeds eleven you in summers, how about that?
(12:47):
That's that's out. I just had to take that.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
For the World Series, I would.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
Okay, okay, World Series. I mean, you got an uber
there because you know park is going to cost you
another two three hundred dollars. And forget about popcorn. You
mentioned pop corn and hot dogs.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Oh, the Dodger Dog. I'll experience the whole eye experience.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
I guess you're right for your first one at Dodger one.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Hundred undred dollars Dodger Dog.
Speaker 1 (13:09):
I'm gonna say probably forty seven fifty and you can
each have one bite with no mustard on it. How
about that? You know, I don't even ask about relish
your catch up because you can't afford it. All right,
you're not getting there. But look, well, one thing is
speaking about afford one thing, Uh a former Bears in
Broncos quarterback is going to have to afford his uh
(13:31):
some court, uh some court fees. He's got a dui.
That's none other than Jake Cutler pulled over in Tennessee
and arrested for driving under the influence driving right. I
heard that gun possession, man, I don't understand it. What
is it with one with the guns and two getting
behind the wheel and drinking like it doesn't make any sense.
(13:53):
Jake Cutler got to give you a technical man. What
you doing, man?
Speaker 2 (13:57):
What do you do? That's crazy? Because he's kind on
a role model, you know, somebody growing up. I'm pretty
sure a lot of these young quarterbacks looked up to him.
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Well, I mean he always had attitude problems, like he's
kind of stuck up to me. And honestly, I mean
he's a Vanderbilt alum, with no disrespect to Vanderbilt. A
lot of intelligent people go to Vandervelt. So but it
goes to show you smart people make dumb decisions too.
And anytime you are drinking and getting behind the wheel
of a car, that's dumb. You're dumb. I don't care
what it is. And look, everybody's got a different tolerance
(14:29):
some people. They may have done it before, but it's
just a matter of time before you either get caught
or you hurt or kill someone.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
And I just think, not only you you can kill,
you can actually kill somebody too.
Speaker 1 (14:40):
Absolutely, So when I see this, and you made a
good point about their role models and quarterbacks looking up
to him, like Jay Cutler. However, he had a rocket,
he had great mechanics.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
He's out armed him and Brandon Marshall at in Denver. Yeah,
that was scary man.
Speaker 1 (14:56):
And when he came to Chicago, he was a serious
force for them. So, you know, I hate to see
guys falling off like that. And there's always a bigger
issue when when when the judgment goes out the window
or or you know, in the bottle, if you will.
But again, like it's big news when somebody gets caught
Joe Schmoe down the street or a coworker gets a dui,
(15:18):
you're never going to hear about it, right unless you know,
something terrible happens. But when a professional athlete, you know,
does something like this and puts themselves in harm's way,
you know you've got to just wonder, like you know,
what's going on between the ears, you know, and like
I'm not speculating and saying it's it's something, you know,
head related, but we have seen.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
No, there's there's all kinds of ways that you can
get on. Oh not just by driving home. It's uber
call your friend, you know, thank you, there's a there's
a lot of catch the bus if you got it.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
Thank you, my man. Public transportation. Don't tell me they
don't have it in Tennessee. I know they've got it.
And you're talking about somebody who's made millions of dollars
in their career. But in the if it comes down to,
like you say, calling somebody and you don't have anybody's number,
like you got to look in the mirror, right, you
gotta you gotta look under and like anybody listening to.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
This make that smart decision.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Listen listen to brother. No, I'll be smart. If you're
listening to this and you're having a few drinks, like
it's not worth it, Okay, it's not worth your life.
And you'd never be able to look in the mirror
if you took someone else's son or daughter's life because
of your foolishness.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
So you know, if you're not wasted just sleep sleeping
up in your car. You know. Oh my man, I'm
gonna crash your That's all right, at you crashing in
my car.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
Make my keys, but you like keys?
Speaker 2 (16:36):
Please?
Speaker 1 (16:37):
That is bad, you know what I mean? Like And
like I said, it's just not this news obviously happened
a week or so ago. We haven't been on. But
when I see things like this, I just always think
it could be so much worse.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
And so there's a lot of a lot of choices
that you can make. You can just make the wrong
choice every you know.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Unfortunately some people do. Unfortunately some people do. But you know,
speaking of you know, making the right choice, Gonna pivot
over here to the NBA. The Minnesota Timberwolves took on
your Lakers last night and took an l and what
was a close game when it first started, but the
(17:15):
Lakers definitely were in contention. But uh, Minnesota Timberwolves gave
their star center Frenchman the stifle Tower, Rudy Gobert, a
three million, ten million dollar extensions. So show me the money,
basically what.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
They should show me the money.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
You already knew, show me the money. So good move,
bad move. I feel like their hands were tied. They
had to because Karl Anthony Towns is no longer there,
who's now with the New York Knicks. So you had
to pay your big man. Make sure you you got
Aunt Edwards there right, so you've got still a big
two there. Nasrieg actually has a bigger role. It didn't
(17:55):
show up last night for them. Like I said, the game,
it wasn't as close as when the score indicated, but
that was all overshadowed by history being made by one
of Lebron James and Lebron James junior Brownie James making
his debut. What what are you? What are your thoughts
about this?
Speaker 2 (18:13):
He should be made Okay, No, he can go back
down to the DV and then I'm just joking.
Speaker 1 (18:18):
But except you're not.
Speaker 2 (18:20):
They look good. But it's I want to call him
a playoff team. It's it's young. We just started. Everybody
calmed down. I'm pretty sure guy is gonna be there
and later on in the season. Yeah, everybody just gotta
find they groove. You know, Once they find they groove
and the team is clicking, then then you're gonna see
who what team separates from the others.
Speaker 1 (18:43):
The other rest so well, I mean, what are your predictions.
I mean, one game in, you're one zero eighty one
games left.
Speaker 2 (18:50):
For you guys, we make the playoff. I'm happy.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Okay, okay, pretty much.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
We got to see guys from last year.
Speaker 1 (18:56):
Well yeah, but I mean you've got two sensational well okay,
hell with this, you got one sensational rookie potential in
Dalton connect right, yeah, Charles Barkley saying the rest of
the teams were stupid to let the Lakers get this
sharp shooter.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
He hit his first shot, his first every shot in
the NBA regular season was a three pointer from dead
on on the top of the arc. And you know,
I think I don't know if he did shoot another
maybe one one for two. But he is a favorite
for Rookie of the Year. My my homie Jamar did
drop a few bucks, a few shekels on him to
win Rookie of the Year. You know, honestly, like, the
(19:33):
kid can play. And I'm not just recognized by us
here on the Big Island sports talk show, but Snoop Dogg,
who has been everywhere in the off season. Snoop Dogg
has given him a name. Listen to this Snoop Dogg
calls him Dalton with sauit connect.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
And I'm just that Snoop.
Speaker 1 (19:55):
With sit connect And as long as he keeps connecting
from three, I've I feel like the Lakers do have
a chance to make the playoffs and to make a run.
I would love to see that. For Lebron James, who
still looks spry. It's really amazing the fact that he
can get up and throw down a jamp a slam
of jama like he did last night, and to be
(20:15):
sharing the court with his son, Brownie James, who let's
just be real. I think you joked about it at
the start. He should be in the G League. He
should be in a developmental league so he can get
the confidence. I believe he's got the skills, it's obviously
in his bloodline, but there's no sense inforcing him out there.
The history has been made. If I'm Rob Polinka, I'm saying, okay,
we did it. You played with your son. His over
(20:38):
under for points was like one and a half or something,
so only one bucket which he did not get. Oh
so you know, Vegas is laughing all the way to
the bank taking out their money.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
I think all your money.
Speaker 1 (20:48):
You look, he had an open look from three but
missed it. But again, I just think him developing the
confidence is going to be better long term for his career.
History has already been made. What say you, I think
really should go, you know, somewhere to different.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Get better, you know, as a as as a season develops.
Hopefully he can develop too at the same time. And
and we just see from if he let's say about
halfway through the season, let's see how much shot see got,
how much his percent is run up or is shooting
that we can judge right now. But now I just
(21:24):
think he's just too raw right now.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
Yeah, yes, and and and the thing is too his
confidence has already shaken. The last thing you want is
for other NFL NBA players to be feeding off of that.
He already had a viral clip of Aunt Edwards, who's
known to run his mouth, trash talking brownie. Right, that's
only gonna get worse. He's lucky that Pat Beverly is
(21:47):
not in the league anymore, because at Beverly will be
picking him up. He'll be yes, And you know, like
I said, it's it's I would like to see the
long term. I would love to see Bronnie James have
a healthy career, even if it's a three and D guy.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
Like you know, he'd like you know his.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Yeah, exactly, just be just be able to run the offense.
Credit to JJ Reddick getting his first win as a
Lakers head coach. We talked about that in the offseason.
Was he the right hire, the right move? He seems
to have good energy. You have D'Angelo Russell willing to
pass the ball, not so you know, hot shooting the ball,
(22:26):
and the bright spot, which you've got to feel good about.
Anthony Davis not only offense and and you know jumped
in there. He was the difference in that game, but
on defense. I mean he had a huge block on
Rudy Gobert at the rim and let the whole Staple
Arena know it.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
So that was all more excited about. Is I think
Davids looking looking good.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
You just gotta stay healthy.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
He's got to stay healthy.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (22:53):
Yeah, So if you got to put bubble rap on
this guy when he leaves practice or or the game,
so be it. You know, I want to see him
in the playoffs and looking.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Like this, because when I see Anthony Davis looking like
he should have the last two three years, like like
this dominant, and by dominant I mean thirty six and
sixteen with three blocks, Like if you get anything close
to that eighty five ninety that night in and night out.
Of course, like the West is already packed, right, that's
(23:26):
a pack division, man, Yeah, man, But look, I'm glad
you're happy right there to see. It is really cool
to know. Like I say, we've got NFL cooking. We're
going to get to the NFL just a minute after
commercial break. But the NFL, it's full steam ahead. We're
already six seven weeks in. Already my fantasy team is
already going under like the Titanic, you know. So we'll
(23:48):
get to that right after this commercial break, big guy
in sports talk show, I'm Matt Parker, and I approve
this message.
Speaker 4 (24:00):
Imagine a world where the politicians are who exactly who
they say they are, you know, folks, I hear you
complaining about those gas prices, and I say this to you.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
You elect me, and I can't do a darn thing
about it.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Oh, A messenger of the people, you know, Stacy down
there at the mill House told me that the price
of insulin is too high. So I took out my
check book and asked her how much it was, and
then I put my check book right back because it's
too much for me too. He's not here to promise
you anything he can't make good on.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Now.
Speaker 4 (24:35):
I'm not here to promise you universal health care. No,
but I will keep that humane society from closing this November.
Remember the candidate that promised you nothing, I'm Matt Parker,
and I approved this message.
Speaker 2 (24:50):
I like the balls on this gup.
Speaker 4 (24:51):
Matt Parker's a made up fictional character for the soul
purpose of the intermission of this Hilarrity of Money podcast.
You will not see him on any futtal, state or
local ballot this upcoming November.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
If you do, it is not me, By golly, he's
a weasel. All right, guys, Welcome back to Big Island
sports talk show. It's mad here, brother Noel. That's up
unpacked right here. We are holding it down, and you know,
we got to get into some NFL like we talked Lakers,
we talk World Series Dodgers. Brother Knowles got his predictions,
but the NFL is popping before we get there. I
(25:19):
gotta nail my man. How's your fantasy team doing your best? One?
I don't need to know about all six or seven
of them that you got.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
Well, that's what I got is six and one right now?
Speaker 1 (25:29):
Are you serious? Yes?
Speaker 2 (25:30):
Yes, in my in my friends league was the last
minute things. He wanted to put something together with them,
but just just some friends that we knew back in
the day. And yeah, I've been doing really good. I'm surprised.
Speaker 1 (25:44):
Well, I know you. I heard your take on it.
He just I just don't.
Speaker 2 (25:50):
I just want to make the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
Yeah, now you're six and in one league?
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Like, yeah, well yeah, what's up?
Speaker 1 (25:57):
Well let me see. Let me ask you this, because
I know when you're in multiple leagues it gets really
tough because you're rooted for some players to do well
one week, and then you're rooted for others. So it's
this six and one league. Is this to become the
one You're like, No, I want to win this one,
and the other ones are just you know, are the
ones that lost money in?
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Is that the one you no? Not even the one
I give wants money. And the one that I'm very
very focused on is the we call it the Chuck League,
and that's the most competitive league that I have ever
played on This guy's is that they notice stuff. Don't
think you're can try to get a sleeper on the
waiver wires. This guy's.
Speaker 1 (26:39):
I know how that goes. I was looking this morning.
First thing I see, uh the Chiefs news that the
DeAndre Hopkins, former wide receiver for the Tennessee Titans is.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
No fair though that wasn't fair. Was it midnight?
Speaker 1 (26:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (26:56):
Yeah, I think it was midnight. Well at my time,
it was midnight and Bunny got was up?
Speaker 1 (27:01):
Was was was?
Speaker 2 (27:03):
Was my younger brother, he got him, he got the.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
My twin brother got him. I had to check just
to see because you know, you go search for him
to hope they're there, and you see see trade and you're.
Speaker 2 (27:14):
Like, ah, you wake up, you look for him. You're like,
oh man, somebody got it. Somebody picked it up two
hours ago.
Speaker 1 (27:20):
Yeah, and I'm really I mean my team is I'm
three and four and I actually played my wife this week.
So it's one of those like you win some you lose.
Her team was yeah, she lost by point six points
last like like mcbrid ouch, McBride only needed one more
catch to win, and Kyler was I mean James Connor
(27:42):
went off on that last drive to beat the Chargers,
So I'm happy the Chargers lost, but I really wanted
her to win. She's second in the division right now,
so we're in a different division, so I all probably
have to play her one time. So if I win, great,
I would love to close the gap. But I honestly
I would love for her to, you know, creep up
and win because the guy that's in my division is undefeated.
He's six and seven, seven and o or something like that,
(28:04):
so I'm probably I would need a miracle. I need
a lot of people to start losing ahead of me.
I think I'm second from the bottom. But again, I'm
just happy to be participating, you know what I mean.
I dealt with some injuries. I did get to play
Nick Chubb though.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
I SA nice, all he's back, he's back, He's back.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
And when he scored that touchdown, I felt like Lebron
James Cleanland, you know what I mean. So that was good.
Congratulations to Nick Chubb, welcome back. But unfortunately we do
have some injuries. I just want to shout out some
of these things. Season ending injury for quarterback Deshaun Watson
of the Cleveland Browns, and look, people had you know,
(28:44):
there was mixed feelings about it. If you're on Twitter,
you saw it. I mean literally, if you were at
the stadium, you had people cheering the fact that this
man had ruptured his achilles and it was bad. I
saw the pop.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
I saw it pop. Yeah, from the backside and they
showed it.
Speaker 1 (28:58):
Oh and like and that's the thing. And look, we
talked about decision making and with Jay Cutler earlier and
his thing, like Deshaun Watson has a look in the
mirror every day, right, He's gonna be the one that
has to know what he did, all these things coming
out to all the women that came out of the blue,
and the things that he was doing behind the scenes,
(29:19):
and you know, it just it's not good right anyway
you look at it. Right. But Cleveland Brown fans there
and Jameis Winston, who's the backup quarterback who was inactive
that day, spoke on this, like to kick a man
when he's down like this, you know, an injury like that,
to derailing season. Yeah, he's must he's paid, he's signed
(29:42):
that two hundred plus million dollar contract. But just disgusting
behavior from Cleveland Brown fans that are cheering for this man.
Speaker 2 (29:49):
To go down for a guy to be hurt, cheering
for him. A guy that's down, you're practically kicking him
in his face.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
You know, we talked about it. When you have backup
quarterbacks in the NFL, it's an ugly product. It's to watch.
Look at the Miami Dolphins.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Right Yeah, for example.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
Boil, like even Tyler Huntley who they had to pick
up from the Ravens practice squad. It's ugly stuff.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
And the team is different with different Yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (30:13):
We're gonna jump on to it. And just a minute
here after I finish up here, because also we have
Brandon I go down season ending ACM slowly trashed. Thank goodness,
he got his money. And you know I was on
here talking about Jamar Chase and you know some of
these guys holding out DeVante Adams, which we're going to
talk about him to get your money. NFL, what do
(30:35):
we saying all the time is not.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
For not for long get it when he's hot, you know,
get it while you're hot.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
And we know that if Brandon Auk had just come
and played and had you know, gotten hurt the same
way without that long term contract, you know, they would
have shifted him out of there.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
Right right next year, he's gone third round.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Fourth round pick. You know what I mean. I mean,
there's no way they're gonna be able to move.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
You're gonna trade them. They can't trade them, They're gonna
release them.
Speaker 1 (31:00):
Yeah, I mean he may not be the same player.
You argue he wasn't the same player. He definitely hit
the drops. He had already dropped one or two potential touchdowns.
I don't care because I don't have him on my team.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
That's rough. If you don't blending in the preseason with
your team, yeah, that's different. Man. You don't have the timing,
and timing is everything in football. You don't have the timing.
Year ain't gonna nowhere, Your team.
Speaker 1 (31:23):
Ain't going nowhere. Absolutely, absolutely, and honestly, I don't think
brock Perty is a good enough quarterback where he could
just drop in and plug and play. I'm still getting
burned on the George Kittle thing, even though he's a
little bit hurt too. That whole forty nine Ers team
is just banged.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Everybody's hurting.
Speaker 1 (31:38):
That window is closed, bro And you know how I
feel about Shanahan. He can't win nothing.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
And whoever dropped a Kisten McGoff in the first round
picks might lose him for the rest of the year. Yeah,
I think there's a window before you can shut a
player down for the season. If he passes that window,
I forgot what was I don't know either. So many
days they gotta they kind of put you on iron.
No more, they gotta shut you down for the rest
(32:06):
of the season.
Speaker 1 (32:07):
Yeah, man, well, I mean, speaking of shut down the
rest of the season, star Puss pass rusher for the
Detroit Lions, Aiden Hutchinson goes down out.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
I saw it all. I actually saw it out.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
And you're talking about a guy in his prime, arguably
up there with the Miles Garrett with a max. Yeah,
exactly up there for him to go down. But the
Lions still continued, got a great win against division rival Minnesota.
So now they're leading that that division five and one
for both teams, and now we just have the Chiefs
(32:39):
who are the only remaining six and oh team. But
with that, you have Patrick Mahomes playing like absolute poopy,
like absolutely terrible, Like.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
They always find a way to win, and it's it's
so frustrating. There bore you to sleep, They will bore
you to sleep. Yeah, and they win the game.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Yeah, well, then picking up the hop we mentioned earlier,
that's a big, big acquisition for them. You know, not
quite as many injuries as the forty nine ers, but
he's getting close. But they handled the forty nine ers.
I mean, obviously Patrick Mahomes in that thirty three yard
scramble where he's going out of bounds and he turns
up and then he spa in the in the in
the end zone for that to finish off that drive,
(33:18):
that's the highlight. But other than that, chiefs Man.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
Their defense, the defense is keeping them in the game.
That defranch is real deals. They got two big shut
down corners, Christians in the middle. I think, got some
good tacklers on a linebacker and they're there are these
keeping them in games, closing for their d both.
Speaker 1 (33:40):
Trim mcduffy like, what a great pickup he was. Quarter Yes,
I love my quarterbacks, my defensive backs. You know, that's
always you know a big thing for me. But you know,
I look, they do just continue to win. It is
very frustrating to see. It's almost like there's an NFL
agenda where they want to get you know, Patrick Mahomes
and can the city Chiefs that third Super Bowl, you know,
(34:03):
never been done before. This is min This is mind
you with Travis Kelcey really not even being that productive.
So maybe the addition of d Hop gets him open
and he can start getting going again. Maybe that's possible.
I don't know, hoping not. But you know, one shot
out before we moved, because I want to talk about
DeVante's Devonte Adams real quick. But one shot I got
(34:25):
to give to the local boy. Marcus Mariota stepped in
for the Washington Commanders after now with ribs eighteen for
twenty three passing two hundred and five yards. Two tuddies
added thirty four rush yards without one thirty two point
eight quarterback rating. My goodness, was that a great and
(34:46):
glorious thing to see for him to just step into
that that It's like dan Quinn really revitalized the energy
for that team. And uh and it showed. It showed you.
Marcus stepped right in and had a grip for that
that that team scary Terry doing work. Zach Ert scored a.
Speaker 2 (35:05):
Touchdown, right, you get all the weapons, my man, I
don't know they got that other receiver Brown from the
Texans was.
Speaker 1 (35:13):
The Texans in it before that. The Cowboys, right, no.
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Yes, no, yeah, musically good too.
Speaker 1 (35:17):
Whatever, man, they look you called it. I think we
both talked about it last time. The Commanders could possibly
finish second maybe first. You know, the Eagles obviously didn't
beat up on the Giants last week, but they don't
look anything special. They gave up a lot of sacks,
you know, and I know the Giants can't get after it.
They do have a monster d line, Dexter Lawrence as
(35:40):
a de tackle is like almost up there leading the
league in sacks and you know, double teams but still
getting it done. But the Giants on offense or they're
they're boogoo, you know what I mean?
Speaker 2 (35:51):
Yeah, taking up defense? Your defense looks pretty good man. Well, yes,
the Denver Broncos I said their defense is pretty good.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
Man. Look, we need to be covering up the deficiencies
for bo Knicks and Sean Payton. Look, yes, we got
to win against a depleted Saints team. I would expect
to get a win when they don't have a starting
wide receiver that you can name. And Alvin Kamara is
the only star that's left on a team who just
came out and said he had a bro the Jets. Okay,
we beat the old Jets, but we don't talk about
(36:22):
the Jets. We beat the Jets in an ugly football game,
ten to nine, and then we beat up on a
Saints team that started a rookie quarterback in Spencer Radler
in his second start. I'm not impressed bow knicks numbers.
Look just okay. He should have had an egregious interception
before half. That overthrow was hit honey badger right in
the hands and he drops. That could have been a
(36:43):
turning point for the game. And you gotta feel bad
if you're a Saints fan, you know, I don't feel
bad for you, because obviously you guys had years of
you know, success. I don't think they're at the point
where they're the Aints yet because it could always be worse. Again,
look at Miami, right.
Speaker 2 (36:58):
Well, they got a good complimentary defense. And then now
there was his name, Williams. He's starting to run in
the rock a little a lot better too. Oh yeah,
that's perfect recipe for successful rookie quarterback, running the ball
and playing tough.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
D Oh, you're right, you're right, But I mean, I say,
the d really isn't that tough? If my Broncos can
put up points on you. But going back to it,
at one point they had sixteen first downs and sixteen
total points. Like the math ain't math in there sean page?
You're listening what's going on? Man like? And I know
you can't throw the ball for a bow knix, But
(37:34):
aren't you supposed to be scheming stuff.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Up, you know, to his to his skill level. You know,
I'm not.
Speaker 1 (37:39):
I'm not saying you need to have a C. J.
Strout type season to the.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
Car he using me In Oregon they roll them out
on the outside, little dump offs there and there, welcome
you don't you don't scheme the same kind of similar
plays and put it into your playbook.
Speaker 1 (37:57):
Well, I understand that. It's the same reason you don't
see the option run in NFL football, right because you
know how you beat the option. You take away the options.
But when you start rolling out and moving you know
the quarterback, you isolate one side of the field. Yeah,
utilize the entire field. What are they seeing? These quarterbacks
in the combine can make all the throws from yes, right.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
Okay, from to the other side of the hat sideline.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Your arm is if you're thrown into the other team,
and I'm not impressed the fact that we still can't
run the ball.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Look, Dronte had two touchdowns in the last game, eighty
eight total yards. Okay, we play good against weak teams.
I'm not impressed against the teams we should be okay
and decent teams.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
Your team beat Kansas City and it's gonna happen pretty soon.
They're gonna meet up pretty soon. If they beat Kansas City,
where would you rank your your team?
Speaker 1 (38:51):
Okay, defense should be good, right because you recognize them.
I don't think we will have If he stays away
from passer ten, he hopefully should minimize some of those interceptions.
But we don't have Justin Simmons anymore, who's always basically
guaranteed to get one interception off of Patrick Mahomes. In fact,
he did so playing safety for the Atlanta Falcons at
(39:13):
So look, if we get a win and we we
split with them, I'll give the credit where credits due.
Obviously going to have to watch the game and credit
the stats as it goes. But I predicted this team
at nine to eight and missing the playoffs. You got
lucky with the Chargers dropping one against the Cardinals, but
we've got a tough schedule coming up.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
Right here, still too, still got to.
Speaker 1 (39:36):
Play the Ravens, And if the Raiders were any good
right now, we'd be fighting for the bottom of that division,
like scratching and surviving. So some people are okay with mediocre.
I've seen a super Bowl in my lifetime, so I
guess I'm good. Everything else is gravy. But I'm not
impressed by what I'm seeing here. And if this was
Sean Payton's guy, and he's supposed to be this quarterback
(39:58):
guru and everything, show me, yeah, show me like blow
out the good team the band, make make make me
past the eye test. You know, you don't play bad
teams in the playoffs. You don't play bad teams down stretch.
But like and and look say.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
No, just speaking facts. That's it, thank you.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
I'm going by what I'm seeing.
Speaker 2 (40:20):
The eye tests. You know, you gotta pass these first yes.
Speaker 1 (40:23):
Exactly, And when the team looks good and it's solid.
If if the offense looked half as good as my
defense looked, I would be giving a lot more praise.
But I'm not going to sit up here and sugarcoat it,
because we don't do that. On the Big Island Sports
talk show, as is, your Rams are falling apart right now.
They want to trade.
Speaker 2 (40:43):
But that's two guys on the team. Yes, and that's
going from scrit.
Speaker 1 (40:47):
And you can say that that's repercussions for them going
all in f the picks. Remember that a couple of
years ago that did get Sean McVay and win.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
That's the thing. We're not trading anymore. We're not. We're
saving those picks now, We're not. We're not that fing it. Yeah,
I say, if we have those picks, I think we
got two, maybe two three guys that maybe you can
take us to the playoffs. Look, depending on much our
division is not that strong at all, nuts and that's
the thing, is all you need to do. We can
(41:18):
still come back and maybe win the division. I do
not say we are, but you could though, maybe maybe.
Speaker 1 (41:24):
Beat the Niners heads ahead. You did do that already,
which you could say the Niners are not really anything,
because again, Shanahan can't win nothing. We saw the Rams
or the Cardinal Cardinals play the Chargers close, but honestly,
I don't think the Chargers or anything special and I expected,
you know, to lose to them. Twice in the season. Again,
(41:46):
I have to go back to my picks and see
exactly what I predicted. But I'm not impressed by what
I'm seeing. If they if your Rams do trade Cooper
Cup jumping over back to your team, they're mailing it in.
It's over. And I would hate to see them sell
off a piece like Kiren Williams and and and Cooper Cup,
especially if you're going to keep making the Chief stronger.
I don't understand. What is Tennessee doing. You play in
(42:07):
the AFC. You're gonna trade DeAndre Hopkins to the Chiefs.
Wise Chief, I don't understand that for the fourth round
conditional pick. Come on, come on, come on, Then you've
got God. You got the Chargers who he's throwing to
to to nickelback and in green Day over there, they
(42:28):
can't get him any help. Does hardball really want to
run the ball this much? I don't know, all right,
But look, that's a lot of football talk, I know.
But we're not done here because I got to get
to DeVante Adams. DeVonta former wide receiver. And I'm only
bringing this up because I drive by the Devonte Adams
billboards all around the city. Now all right, seven team
(42:49):
up there, and people have heard about this, right. Obviously,
there was controversy with head coach liking a post saying
that he would be traded or demand a trade, and
you know, just it's not a good look by the
head coach. I'm trying to think of his name right now.
Former New York Giants linebacker.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
What's brother's name, Oh, Antonio Pierce.
Speaker 1 (43:08):
Antonio Pierce, thank you so much for the assistance there.
Antonio Piers right, liking the post about Davonte really stirring
things up. I'm sure that shook up the locker room.
His second blunder in two weeks if you count the
business decisions comment he made postgame.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
He made a business decision.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
Yeah, well a business decision for Davante Smith. Devonte Smith,
Davante Adams, I said, DeVante Smith because he scored point
one points for me and Fantasy last week won. All right,
not even looks Davante Adams, excuse me, going back, did
get the trade he wanted, reunited with his buddy Aaron
Rodgers in the Big Apple. But I think in all opinion,
(43:47):
he went from the frying pan into the dumpster fire.
Not even the fire. The dumpster fire in the New
York Jets. This man lost back to back to the Steelers,
and you know, back to back weeks. Essentially, I'm just
thinking he well had five point five Fantasy points, dropped
the first pass that came his way. And I'm realistic
about football. I didn't think adding an aged wide receiver,
(44:07):
no matter what the report was, was gonna help fix
the New York Jets. And if I'm Robert Salah, I'm
looking back like, what's that Shannon Sharp meaning? You know
what I mean, looking at him like I was the problem?
You guys, let him hear it all.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
Really, there's more to me than then than just me
being the problem.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
There's more exactly so you know, I just think, look,
no expectations for that. I hear Garrett Wilson might be
on the track.
Speaker 2 (44:33):
Garret Wilson. I don't know why they got Adams, they
already got a sud receiver. Well, that kid is for real, man,
Garrett Wilson, that kid is for real.
Speaker 1 (44:41):
Yeah, I've seen, I've seen. Honestly, I would take a
healthy Christal Lave over him, you know what I mean.
I would take a Drake London if he can, if
he can get the targets he needs. Kirk Cousins, Hello,
shout out to you, Michael PENNINGX Junior. Good to see
him out there. You know one throw one pass, but
I would love to see you know that wide receiver
class to Drake London's, the Chris Olave's, Garrett Wilson's really
(45:04):
show out right. You don't have to be Justin Jefferson
Jamar Chase type guys, but I we all benefit when
you have wide receivers that can show up and show out,
and too often they don't. They just fall short. And
if you've got a guy like Aaron Rodgers throwing you
the ball with Davante Adams, it should take the pressure off.
Who gets cornerback number one? Is that Garrett Deavante? But
(45:26):
look and honestly, I would love to see the Jets
fall flat on their face. And I don't have any
dish like I'm just not a Rogers guy. I think
he throws the ball great, great mechanics. Don't really dig
them as a person, and I would be okay if
the Jets fall flat on their face because, like I said,
there dumpster fire, what are your thoughts?
Speaker 2 (45:44):
And as a shame man, because they got good players
both sides of the ball that can actually take you
further in in the playoffs. And definitely I play in
Kansas City.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
C J. Mosley is a great linebacker. The Williams brothers
quit william still in his prime. Just got a big
contract Breese.
Speaker 2 (46:03):
Hall and and Boss to give them a man sauce.
Speaker 1 (46:07):
Yeah, sauce garder that you go and put some hot
sauce on it, right there, some chili pepper water for
you listening back home, right.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
Like, yes, it just all right.
Speaker 1 (46:16):
Look, I know it's only halfway through the season. We're
coming up, which is even a sad thing to say.
I don't want to be getting near that halfway point already,
But is the truth. We've seen what we've seen. I
still haven't won any parlays, so everything that I'm seeing
I still can't put together on a wing ticket, but
it is it is good to see. But look, and
this is a long episode. I just want to close
with this. I've been following the WNBA all season long,
(46:40):
all right, from the preseason. We talked about in this
podcast giving out, showing out the love. I just want
to say, shout out obviously, the New York Liberty got
the job done. They are the twenty twenty four champions,
so give them credit where it's due. But with that said,
the Minnesota Links got robbed. They got robbed by the
(47:01):
Zebras wearing the black and white with the whistles.
Speaker 2 (47:04):
That's sad because you don't want to come down to that,
you know, yes.
Speaker 1 (47:07):
And that's exactly the point I was going to make.
That went to a winner take all game that was
played in a Sunday. In between all the football, all
the controversy, all the injuries, and all that stuff that
came up, you still had New York Liberty head to
head playing at home against the Minnesota Lynx one seed
versus two seed in the most watched w NBA season
(47:32):
of all time, probably due to Caitlin Clark and Angel
Reese and.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
Caitlyn Carts.
Speaker 1 (47:38):
But for the series, for the game for the championship
to be decided by the refs missing a blatant travel
call star star player Breonna Stewart who took four steps
and then got a Casper call. That's what I like
to call it of a foul which shows a clean,
clean block on her and on her for making the
(48:00):
free throws. Because remember in Game one, she fell short
and missed, went one of two and sent that game
to overtime, ended up losing. But uh, it just it sucks.
I feel bad for Minnesota Lynks fans. I feel bad
for Courtney Williams, who has got such a great mid
range game. I'm like one of my favorite players, the
Fista Collier, who is now the all time postseason scoring
(48:23):
leader in a single season for points. Sucks for the
for that to have happened. I'm really glad that their
head coach came out in the postgame press conference and said,
you know, we got robbed, that that s h I
T was stolen from us, and you know, it just
it sucks. There's already some controversy of the players union
(48:44):
for w NBA saying they want to move away from
the NBA basically their bread and butter, the people that
that that you know, are feeding that funding that league. Uh,
there's there's a lot more to this, but again, really
disheartening to see that that was the case. And then
people are gonna say, if he went to over time,
then he wasn't decided then, but but it was.
Speaker 2 (49:05):
The morale you know then.
Speaker 1 (49:06):
Yeah, and you know how sports work, with momentum hated.
And then of course you always know about sports, there's
always something behind it. The w NBA commissioner comes out
and she's got this one piece suit or one piece
outfit looking, but she's got the New York skyline just
all over her, all over her outfit. And you can't
(49:27):
tell me that's biased. You can't tell me that that
was that that wasn't done purposely. And you know, of
course you want big, big markets to win. NBA would
love if the Knicks could win, right, you know, alb
would love if it's a wind win, if either the
Dodgers or the or the New York Yankees win, because
that's a big deal, right, you want you to celebrate.
(49:49):
But again, for the entertainment aspect, I want you see
guys like Lebron James and Damian Lillard tweeting out the
rest deciding that and that was a bogus called Like,
you don't want that to be the last hour taste
in your mouth to end your season, so I won't.
I'll get off my high horse here and say that
congratulations to everybody. It was one heck of a season.
I will definitely be tuning in hockey is underway. I'm
(50:12):
gonna try hockey, fans, Cousin Jonathan, I'm gonna try do
some hockey. Yeah, at least watch I got the Golden Ninetiers.
Speaker 2 (50:18):
So my homeboy John is nice. If somebody's gonna go
to a live game, I'm gonna go.
Speaker 1 (50:24):
It's cool in there, so my wife will be down.
But bro, the temperature here is about to be dropping
into the sixties next week, about to be cold walking
these streets out there.
Speaker 2 (50:33):
It's gonna be cold like white man exactly.
Speaker 1 (50:36):
I guess you're used to it all the time. You're right,
why maya? But I'm gonna be in Las Vegas. I'm
like your degree weather over the forty degree. So brother, no,
let's get a cheat you. I love you so much, man,
thanks for jumping on. So I'm proud of you for
your Dodgers. I can't wait to see. We'll talk about
game one. We'll try to get another episode. Drop you
to Tuesday or Wednesday next week. So let's get a cheat.
(50:57):
Who in three two one?
Speaker 2 (51:21):
Oh lord,
