out the weekend, so that that was cool. Oh, it
was feeling nice and refreshed, relaxed. Gotta spent time in
the jacuzzi.

was all good.

I had a nice time over there in Mali. The
mini camp was awesome that I went to the rounds
one that they had in Mali. The first night we
got there was on Tuesday and they had a practice
just for the Maui residents and the Lina Kids, the
Lion of Luna Kids.

That was awesome.

They went up to uh In doing into Lina. They
helped with the homes, real rebuilding homes for Lina and
they made them a whole new, brand new sports facility
for for them for for the line of school Lion.

Then the next day on Wednesday, it was for everybody
whoever wanted to come or had tickets to come, they did.
It wasn't wasn't cool pants. They showed up a half
hour late. Understandable was their vacation. There went maybe like
two hours of just working out, going through some routes,
going through the defense is going through their their thing,

and the offensive line running backs.

Yeah it was wasn't was this cool, cool experience.

was Aaron Rodgers finally signed and he signed with the
Pittsburgh Steelers. What are your thoughts about that?

right now because they got weapons or whatever?

We got to see all good Rogers is you know.

That's That's that's where I'm going with it, Like, I'm
glad that he signed with the team that he beat
in the Super Bowl, right yeah, So I think that's ironic,
and uh, it's just funny. The memes were coming out
saying Mike Tomlin's five hundred record is finally going to
be brofiaten by Aaron Rodgers because they don't think one
he'll be healthier too, he's got anything left in the tank,

So I look, I wish him well. I don't really
much care for Aaron Rodgers the person. Also don't know
him personally, but but he's a heck of a quarterback
and if he's got anything left in the in the tank,
I would like to see see what he's got dk. Obviously,
Kay's the never one target because George Pickens, who was there,
is not the Cowboys. So I'd like to see what

he's got left and and what what the Steelers can do.
Obviously they're in a very competitive division. Everybody in that
division got better, so we'll see.

Oh yeah, but that that division looks scary with the
Bengals and the Ravens, and I don't want to see
what Schadur can do if he gets a starting job
over there in Cleveland.

Well, I'm glad you brought up I'm glad you brought
up Shadur because he was my next talking point, which is,
I'm start calling Shador, start calling speed racer. What's this
going one hundred miles an hour getting pulled over by
the authorities.

Not a good look, That's not it. You ain't getting
no freebieus, not it at all. Because they're looking up
for you know, kids looking up to you.

Absolutely, And you think considering who his father is and
the negative attention that he brought to himself from the draft,

we know the NFL, that underbelly of the NFL is
an ugly place, right, look no further than John Grugen's emails,
and you see exactly what I'm talking about. So, like,
you'd be a fool to think that everything was by

the book and everything regarding his draft situation. But this
has got nothing to do with the draft. This is
what was going on between his personal life, his personal life,
in between his ears and his own mind. So for
him to make that decision. And I know he's only
twenty three. I don't need to get on here scolding him, but.

can learn from this.

I hope so too. And I'm just glad that it
wasn't something that was tragic, right, Yes, so many of
these times you hear, look look at look at Henry

And then I saw this side by side meme of

for doing three bills in a sixty so that lebron
at the same age they were bout twenty three. So
it's like, yeah, you can recover, you can learn from it.
I just think it was a bad look and it
was really really bad timing for the situation. This is

you guys made a mistake, and he went he went
about it the wrong way. So hopefully Dione gave him
an ear fool. Hopefully, you know, hopefully, you know, the
coaches can really just set him down and kind of
get to him because I'd like to see him do well.

He's one of the most accurate quarterbacks in college and
you put that in a profession in the in the NFL,
and hopefully they he can pick up the game faster
and the talent is there. Don't get me wrong, the
talent is there. He can't make that team good, I believe.

No, they've been building and and the thing is too
for us. In the entertainment, the quarterback is the most
coverty position, right, Like, that's one where if you get
it right, and you can really prosper, you can turn
things around. Look at C. J. Stroud and Easton Texans
a couple of years back. Look look one year ago.
Jane Daniels like, Yeah, like, I mean, it's amazing what

you can accomplish when you get that position right. So
I just hope that he puts himself. I was gonna
say behind the driver's seat, that would have been good,
you know, and the driver's seat doing the speed limit
with his seatbelt on and really just kind of just
takes takes that job. Like I listen, I don't want
to see Joe Flacco in twenty twenty five, Okay, like

an advisory type role. They already got more quarterbacks than

the first five to eight minutes something like that. It
was crazy. He was he was he was gonna have
a yeah feeling, and and you could just see the
the sales the win get deflated from that team watching

him go down and having to get helped off the court,
and you see you see you see the slow motion
and you see that thing pop and you're like, I've
seen that before, and you know where it took me
back to that finals, the final finals, Like this was
when KD was still when he left, Remember he was
having the cas straight and cas straight and that thing
finally went. And so that's right back to that. And

I think like, obviously, yeah, these guys are millionaires, they're
uber wealthy and all this, but for the entertainment factor,
we don't get to see them at the at the Pinnacle.

go down with an achilles, bro you're done for the

to scare their first and only NBA championship, right they

and they really had a good chance.

took away from my joy in the NBA finals because
you know me, I too did this is like the
most dedicated basketball I watched the majority of the playoffs,
Like I probably watched seventy five eighty percent of the
games that were available. And obviously we'd run this podcast

and it's different than just getting box scores and talking
about it. But I really got a feel. I got revival.

Yeah, you're watching the game, you feel that, you know, like, oh,
maybe they can't turn it around in this game, or

Well yeah, and then and then just thinking about just

the game has changed. It's not physical, but the Recks
were letting them play.

no physicality in that. That thing just went like I
hate to see the injuries. I don't like to watch
those slow modes of people getting hurt, Like I don't
need to see that. I mean that that could happen anytime.
You could. You could get out of your truck and
blow your knee.

Out, you know what I mean, especially the non contact. Yeah, injuries,

reminder too. I mean, we are fragile beings. We are

when it's good, when you can go see your rams
and go do a little staycation when you can go,

This was a big year for him. I mentioned he
joined the Lead Company with winning the regular season MVP
scoring and NBA Finals MVP. So he joined the Korea

of the history for winning scoring champion, m v P
and NBA Finals MVP. That's that's a huge deal. And
I was I was listening to the odd couple shout

were talking about OKAC and you know, it's known for

that went off, right, So now they feel vindicated having
this championship because before then all you could point to
was younger US, young hearted and young KD. And they

times in the playoffs, has the most fifty nine made threes.
I mean, he told me he couldn't get hot down

because the Pacers were fighting. TJ. McConnell got that spark

We never had that energy like that in the first half. Yeah,
like like there was fighting for Hallenburton, you know, like,

I just had a little vacation. I just got my

A nice go to Mawi. Maybe went there for like
four days, three days, three days. Yeah, and we stayed
out the weekend, so that that was cool. Oh, it
was feeling nice and refreshed, relaxed. Gotta spent time in
the jacuzzi.

Okay, do a little laps in the swimming pool.

Bro, For reals, I got birth over there. But it
was all good.

I had a nice time over there in Mali. The
mini camp was awesome that I went to the rounds
one that they had in Mali. The first night we
got there was on Tuesday and they had a practice
just for the Maui residents and the Lina Kids, the
Lion of Luna Kids.

That was awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
They went up to uh In doing into Lina. They
helped with the homes, real rebuilding homes for Lina and
they made them a whole new, brand new sports facility
for for them for for the line of school Lion.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Yeah, it was. It was awesome.

Then the next day on Wednesday, it was for everybody
whoever wanted to come or had tickets to come, they did.
It wasn't wasn't cool pants. They showed up a half
hour late. Understandable was their vacation. There went maybe like
two hours of just working out, going through some routes,
going through the defense is going through their their thing,

and the offensive line running backs.

Yeah it was wasn't was this cool, cool experience.

You can see, like literally right there is who you
watch on TV you know and cheer for.

So yeah, it was a good experience for me. I
was stoked. I was really really stoked.

making that happen right there. I'm glad that she definitely
the radar so that you could go because, bro, like you,
how football is like these teams change up. Like Mats
Stafford almost didn't come back. They actually told him to
look look for another place.

the picture of what it's like for fans and why
it's important for one athlete to get back to the community,

up in, but to the impact that it has when
you could have a fan interaction, like you'll be fans

was Aaron Rodgers finally signed and he signed with the
Pittsburgh Steelers. What are your thoughts about that?

right now because they got weapons or whatever?

We got to see all good Rogers is you know.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
That's That's that's where I'm going with it, Like, I'm
glad that he signed with the team that he beat
in the Super Bowl, right yeah, So I think that's ironic,
and uh, it's just funny. The memes were coming out
saying Mike Tomlin's five hundred record is finally going to
be brofiaten by Aaron Rodgers because they don't think one
he'll be healthier too, he's got anything left in the tank,

So I look, I wish him well. I don't really
much care for Aaron Rodgers the person. Also don't know
him personally, but but he's a heck of a quarterback
and if he's got anything left in the in the tank,
I would like to see see what he's got dk. Obviously,
Kay's the never one target because George Pickens, who was there,
is not the Cowboys. So I'd like to see what

he's got left and and what what the Steelers can do.
Obviously they're in a very competitive division. Everybody in that
division got better, so we'll see.

Oh yeah, but that that division looks scary with the
Bengals and the Ravens, and I don't want to see
what Schadur can do if he gets a starting job
over there in Cleveland.
Speaker 3 (14:33):
Well, I'm glad you brought up I'm glad you brought
up Shadur because he was my next talking point, which is,
I'm start calling Shador, start calling speed racer. What's this
going one hundred miles an hour getting pulled over by
the authorities.

Not a good look, That's not it. You ain't getting
no freebieus, not it at all. Because they're looking up
for you know, kids looking up to you.

You know, you got to show that role model, you know,
be be a professional about it.

Absolutely, And you think considering who his father is and
the negative attention that he brought to himself from the draft,
and you know it wasn't all him obviously, like that,
we know the NFL, that underbelly of the NFL is
an ugly place, right, look no further than John Grugen's emails,
and you see exactly what I'm talking about. So, like,
you'd be a fool to think that everything was by

the book and everything regarding his draft situation. But this
has got nothing to do with the draft. This is
what was going on between his personal life, his personal life,
in between his ears and his own mind. So for
him to make that decision. And I know he's only
twenty three. I don't need to get on here scolding him, but.

We make we make these stage about I hope he
can learn from this.

I hope so too. And I'm just glad that it
wasn't something that was tragic, right, Yes, so many of
these times you hear, look look at look at Henry
Ruggs and his situation, yeah, rits, look at look.

At even even more promise career down the drink.

Well and someone's life, right, And that's that's what it is.
You're driving a machine, yeah, a one ton machine at
sometimes uncontrollable speeds like nobody. Nobody plans to get in

Yeah, so, you know, very disheartening to see that, but again,
you know, it's NFL offseason. There's things. He's not the
first one. In fact, the Cleveland Cavaliers, almost the Cavalaris
Cleveland Browns have a whole roster of players who were
speeding and pulled over, so he's just added to it.
And then I saw this side by side meme of

Lebron James right, Akron's own Cleveland's finest got pulled over
for doing three bills in a sixty so that lebron
at the same age they were bout twenty three. So
it's like, yeah, you can recover, you can learn from it.
I just think it was a bad look and it
was really really bad timing for the situation. This is
h This is when he was supposed to prove everybody like, nah,

you guys made a mistake, and he went he went
about it the wrong way. So hopefully Dione gave him
an ear fool. Hopefully, you know, hopefully, you know, the
coaches can really just set him down and kind of
get to him because I'd like to see him do well.

You know, the talent is there.

He's one of the most accurate quarterbacks in college and
you put that in a profession in the in the NFL,
and hopefully they he can pick up the game faster
and the talent is there. Don't get me wrong, the
talent is there. He can't make that team good, I believe.

No, they've been building and and the thing is too
for us. In the entertainment, the quarterback is the most
coverty position, right, Like, that's one where if you get
it right, and you can really prosper, you can turn
things around. Look at C. J. Stroud and Easton Texans
a couple of years back. Look look one year ago.
Jane Daniels like, Yeah, like, I mean, it's amazing what

you can accomplish when you get that position right. So
I just hope that he puts himself. I was gonna
say behind the driver's seat, that would have been good,
you know, and the driver's seat doing the speed limit
with his seatbelt on and really just kind of just
takes takes that job. Like I listen, I don't want
to see Joe Flacco in twenty twenty five, Okay, like

I you know what I mean, Like, let him be
an advisory type role. They already got more quarterbacks than
any other position on the rock.

bad watching them go down.

was on the wall, but they were facing a formidable
opponent in the Indiana Pacers. They they took them, they
took them to the brink, and unfortunately they lost their captain,
their star. They're all NBA. You know, point guard went

down after having one heck of a start. I mean,
the man had nine points you know, in the in
the first five to eight minutes something like that. It
was crazy. He was he was he was gonna have
a yeah feeling, and and you could just see the
the sales the win get deflated from that team watching

him go down and having to get helped off the court,
and you see you see you see the slow motion
and you see that thing pop and you're like, I've
seen that before, and you know where it took me
back to that finals, the final finals, Like this was
when KD was still when he left, Remember he was
having the cas straight and cas straight and that thing
finally went. And so that's right back to that. And

I think like, obviously, yeah, these guys are millionaires, they're
uber wealthy and all this, but for the entertainment factor,
we don't get to see them at the at the Pinnacle.
We're in the championship where all the all the marbles
are on the line. And then you think about it,
same thing with Dame Lillard and Jason Tatum. You you
go down with an achilles, bro you're done for the

whole next season.

And that that recovery process. It used to be a

you know strong, But that's not always the case. And
again from the entertainments perspective, mean you got fans calling
for shorter seasons, Get rid of the playing tournament, get

too much on these guys bodies. When Haliberg went down,

Yeah, and it just goes to show you, like, I mean,
these are world class athletes. It's not like he jumped
on the court. It didn't warm up, Like, but if
we knew that it was a possibility, and I just
hate to see it because even him at eighty percent
say that didn't happen. May have been enough for Indiana
to scare their first and only NBA championship, right they

won in the ABA.

a toss up already. Indiana show him that they can't

Halliburton took that least shot and when won it for them.

They they don't get me wrong. They played good into

took away from my joy in the NBA finals because

most dedicated basketball I watched the majority of the playoffs,

and it's different than just getting box scores and talking
about it. But I really got a feel. I got revival.

blow your knee.

when it's good, when you can go see your rams

because the Pacers were fighting. TJ. McConnell got that spark
