(01:57):
season. We'll talk about that inthe show. A little bit we will

for having me. Sorry, Iwas on the SeatGeek dot com using my
code talk nott to buy me somefootball tickets. But what's going on tonight,
buddy, Not too much. We'rejust talking Bucks football here and we're
talking about do the Buccaneers have ultimatelywhat it takes to win a football game?
This team that started so strong, has everything has kind of fallen apart

(02:43):
for this team if you take alook at it. In the bucks first
season since twenty twenty without retired quarterbackTom Brady, they got off to a
promising three and one start, butsince their Week five bye week, they
are winless. What's going on herewith the Bucks? For you? Why?
Why can't they win games? Itseems like the run game is a
bit suspect. Rashad White has shownflashes of greatness at least in the last

(03:07):
game, but before that was alittle bit tough. What's going on with
the Bucks in your opinion, Ithink you can point to several different factors,
including one that you said we're goingto talk about a little later with
the penalties. More so, Ithink untimely penalties or as we call them,
bucks beating Bucks. A couple ofthe problems with the team overall.

(03:30):
The center of the offensive line hasreally struggled this year. And when you
have a quarterback, even a veteranlike Baker Mayfield, who's learning a new
system and a team who's learning anew quarterback and the chemistry, not being
able to step up in the pocketand deliver a throw is huge and Baker's
had a problem doing that because, let's face it, the interior offensive line

(03:51):
for the Bucks has not played well. The other thing, I think it's
almost a perfect storm. And thiswill sound like excuses. I mean,
at the end of the day, that's what we're talking about here is why
new offensive coordinator who is a newplay caller at this level. This is
what his seventh game now calling playsat the NFL level. While his resume

(04:14):
is good, you know you're installingnot only an offense, but a new
quarterback. Like I mentioned, you'vehad some injuries across the offensive line that
to me is a huge problem onthe other side of the ball. I
don't want to call players out becausethey do stuff every down that none of
us can do. But we haven'tfelt much from Shaq Barrett. We haven't

(04:38):
felt much from the edge guys. And the key, at least for a
lot of us for winning football isyou win the trenches, whether it's offense
or defense. And if you're notprotecting the quarterback like they're struggling with with
the interior line, you're in trouble. If you're not pressuring the other team's
quarterback with a pass rush, you'regoing to be in trouble. And I

(04:58):
think that's what we're seeing kind ofplay itself out here in slow motion for
us. So as we take alook at the quarterback and position to the
biggest position is the quarterback position,of course, and there was a lot
of questions going into preseason here incamps about ultimately who was going to be
quarterback number one? Of course,it was Baker Mayfield and Kyle Trask,

(05:19):
and they said that there was aquarterback competition. Color me skeptical. I
just think that was their way ofkeeping Kyle Trask's head in the game.
At the end of the day,did the Buccaneers do the right thing by
bringing in Baker Mayfield? A bitof a journeyman? Suffice is to say,
I don't want to say that theonus goes strictly on his shoulders here,

(05:40):
but I think that, you know, part of the blame goes with
him. And at what point doyou think there is a point coming up
here if they say, lose anothergame here, do they go with Kyle
Trask? I think as long Idon't want to say, as long as
you're mathematically in it. But let'sbe honest, looking at the NFC,

(06:00):
there's not going to be a wildcardteam from the NSC South in this playoff,
so you have to win the division. When you lost to Atlanta the
way you did in this streak youwent on, I mean, skeptical wise,
I think if you lose this weekendyou have to start looking towards the
future. And with the amount oflimited sample size we have of Kyle Trask

(06:27):
in actual football, I think thatmakes sense. Now. The flip side
of that is, as an organization, let's say you bench Baker after this
week, after following a loss, and you bring in Trask, you're admitting
another mistake in signing Baker to beginwith. Coupled with that, a lot
of people are like, why areyou doing that? You know he struggled,

(06:48):
blah blah blah. So I feellike me myself, being a longtime
Bucks fan, we're default to startlooking at the draft this time of year
anyway, and with the recent successwith Tom Brady, we've been spoiled.
And I think there's a little bitof that with the fan base and the

(07:10):
himming and hawing. But let's behonest. The Buccaneers are below five hundred.
They're currently third place in the division. There's no relief really coming for
the offensive line. The starting leftguards out again this week and Ryan Jensen
is all but done. We knowthat, so we have to find a
center. We have to get consistencyin the middle of the offensive line,

(07:32):
and with that will allow Rashad Whiteand any other running back behind him to
actually be a little more productive ifthat happens. If we can get a
run game going, Baker can gethot on play action and scrambling, but
you can't get any game going ifyou're continually running into a wall. So
to answer your question, bring itback to that. If they lose this

(07:55):
week and I'm the GM, myfocus now is starting to negotiations to lock
up the contracts that need to belocked up in the off season, and
I'm looking at the draft because, like I said, you're not fighting for
two spots, a wildcard or adivision title. You have to win the
division. And if you fall threegames back and you don't hold the time

(08:16):
breaker against the teams in front ofyou, or at least one of them,
you're in trouble. So yeah,I would put Trask in if they
lose this week, and it's atough thing for me, and I think
that that might be the right idea. But then I think if you go
with Trask, it's going to bevery difficult. If he fails, then
to go back to Mayfield, it'sgoing to kind of seem like the team

(08:37):
is flailing, Like you know, they don't know what they're doing, so
a tough position. And I hearthat about the draft, But my big
concern about it is is trask, you take a look at before that Jameis
Winston. It seems like they're notafraid of drafting quarterbacks. They just you
know, they don't utilize them,or they don't utilize them correctly. I
guess part of that goes on Jamis'sshoulders for you know, kind of being

(08:58):
you know, not that great ofa quarter back. But to your point
as well, the Bucks aren't outof it. The Bucks are only a
half game behind the Falcons and Saintsatop the NFC South standing, so they're
very much still in the thick ofthings as they seek a third Street Division
title. For you, as werecord this in the beginning part of November,
do the Buccaneers have what it takesto win the NFC self? Yet?

(09:24):
Like I said, I believe theydo, but I believe there has
to be some things fixed, andit starts with the interior offensive line,
and it also starts with a passrush. The Buccaneers throughout their history have
been known for their defense, pressuringthe quarterback and ceiling games at the end,
and we haven't seen that. Butto be fair, if you go
back and look at the stats sofar this season, the defense has spent

(09:48):
a lot of time on the fieldand that's due to a lot of you
know, short drives by the offense, and that's because of the problem with
the interior line. I think anyteam and that has the collection of players
they have, the Buccaneers can competefor the division. I think they still
will. Like I said, ifthey win this week, it's a whole

(10:09):
nother ballgame. Like you pointed out, now they're back heading in the right
direction. But we're on a threegame losing streak. Correct, That is
correct, And if that turns tofour, now heads start dropping in the
locker room. Now the emotions gothe wrong way, and as soon as
something bad goes wrong in the game, it's the oh, here we go

(10:31):
again mentality. And when you havea coach who is, to be fair
conservative, like Todd Bowles, acouple of mistakes, it'll kill your game.
And I think we've seen that playout so far this season. It's
a tough thing. This is kindof make or break. I know that
you know statistically or mathematically, it'snot make or break. But for me,

(10:52):
if they drop another game here,it's going to be hard to rally
and get back in the win column. All right, So coming up here
after the break, we will talkabout penalties and we'll talk about the run
game. Those are some of thethings that are holding the Bucks back.
We'll talk about that straight ahead. All right, Welcome back into this edition

(11:46):
of the Bucks Report. So theBuccaneers have struggled as of late. The
interesting thing for me is they gotoff to a strong start, you know,
kind of defying what everyone thought ofthis Buccaneers team to start. You
know, everyone who was drinking thecreamycle kool aid and they were busy patting
each other on the back. Andthen the bye we came and it's like
the Buccaneers forgot how to play football. Baker Mayfield wasn't playing well, and

(12:09):
this team that had such swig orsuch confidence, well all that got vacuumed
out of the room. What foryou is the first thing that the Buccaneers
need to change in the game thisSunday against the Texans. I want to
go outside the box here, andbecause the typical NFL philosophy is you run

(12:30):
the ball to set up the pass, and I think the Buccaneers are one
of those teams in this situation wherethey need to pass to set up the
run. That's an offensive coordinator thing. And again, like we mentioned first
year as a coordinator, first timecalling plays, there's got to be a
lot of pressure. And you knowhe's he's made this or state declaim that

(12:52):
he's going to establish to run andhe I think he's either going to die
or survive on that hill. ButI don't think doing the same thing you've
been doing over and over again withthat result is the way to go.
I will point out last game,I think one of the most successful running
plays was a wide receiver reverse toChris Godwin, and we saw some of

(13:16):
that in preseason with receivers going inmotion and getting the ball. We even
saw Kate Oughten the tight end getit and it was successful. So me
myself, and again the disclaimer,I am not a coach, I'm not
an expert, I'm not even reallyan analyst. But your two offensive tackles
are highly rated and the center ofyour line is low rated. Why are

(13:39):
we continuing to try to pound itin the one and two gap? Why
aren't we going outside more? Whyaren't we spreading the defense out in pass
formation and running from a pass formation. I just feel like there's a lack
of creativity. So to answer yourquestion, they have to establish the run.
They have to pressure the quarterback onthe other side of the ball,
and creativity is a beautiful thing inthis league. We know, look at

(14:03):
the toush push. Someone came upwith that, and now every team,
even the Bucks admitted it today, are working on their own version of it.
So it's a copycat league. Andto continue copycatting your own failure by
running up the middle on first downor early whatever, just it's not working.
So if I'm the coach, meaningDave Canalis at this point, I'm

(14:26):
looking at sweeps, tosses, reverses. But like I said, I'm using
the short passing game, shorts intermediateto open up the run game. Bring
those linebackers back into coverage and getthem used to dropping back and then hit
them with a draw. Hit themwith something outside a quick toss or reversing,
you're going to get five, six, seven yards of pop. The

(14:48):
problem that we were used to,I think as a fan base for three
years, especially the first two underBruce Arians was the no risk and no
biscuit, and we saw lots ofdeep passes and why you know, high
flying offense and all that. Thisteam right now, I feel is more
suited for three four five yards perdown. Just grind the ball down the

(15:13):
field, short pass, the intermediatepasses, run the get a run game
going, and then take the topoff the defense. I think the long
ball should be the exception, notthe rule, And I feel like Baker
is always looking for the long ball, which I get. That's what gets
you on ESPN's then they're typically touchdown, so I get it. But to
answer your question, you got toestablish a run game differently than you're trying

(15:35):
to now, and you got topressure the other team's quarterback. We're facing
a rookie this week. The offensiveline for the Texans is not healthy.
We should have five sacks and weshould be pressuring that kid constantly. So
we'll see how it plays out.But if I'm calling it, I'm establishing
the run game outside intermediate tour passesand pressuring the quarterback. But you know,

(15:58):
you got to say that the Texansall an improved team with CJ.
Stroud on the team. But youknow, just taking a look at the
run game. The run game hasstruggled to get going. The Bucks came
into Week eight with a league worstsixty three percent run block win rate.
Running Back Rashad White has shown overthe last two weeks what a reliable pass
catcher he is and just how effectivehe can be in space. That's the

(16:21):
biggest thing is I think in thislast game he found those spaces where I
think he was kind of overthinking itin previous games. It really seems like,
you know, there was a lotof people saying disparaging things about Rashad
White. Myself. I've heard differentpodcasters as well, Rick Strout as well,
talking about how he's not a greatrunning back and you know, why

(16:41):
can't they ever drop good running backs. I don't want to say that he's
totally redeemed himself, but it lookslike Rashad White kind of found himself in
the last game, Wouldn't you say? Yes? And I would say a
big reason to that is the shortpassing game to him, get him out
in space, give him some confidence. Right, No matter who you are,
I don't care, and I'm goingto go old school and new school.

(17:04):
If you're Derrick Henry or Earl Campbell. If the defensive line is penetrating
two yards as soon as the ballis snapped in the run game, you're
not going anywhere. Barry Sanders isn'tgoing to do anything with that, Walter
Payton isn't going to do anything withthat. So but what I have noticed,
and again I'm not an expert,is when Rashad White gets out in

(17:26):
space, he's deadly. He canpop a big play, he can get
you what you're looking for. Sothat's why we get frustrated as fans,
and we'll go on live streams likethe Aftermath the every day following a Bucks
game, and we'll rant and rateand complain and moan. But at the
end of the day, something hasto change in the run game and the

(17:48):
pass rush on the defense side theball. And I know I keep saying
that, but that's to me,that's the key. If you can get
the run game going, whether itbe like I said, short passes,
intermediate passes to open up the linebackers, whatever you have to do, run
off tackle, quit going up themiddle. If you can do that,
I think we've got the winning combinationhere. And I believe that that's the

(18:10):
only way to solve this. Soh, Rashad White is getting some unfair
heat. And to be fair,he looked he showed flashes of greatness and
brilliance last year, but he wasthe counter punch. Fournette was the guy
that pounded up the middle, andthey were kind of using Rashaw White as,
like I said, the CounterPunch orthe second half of the dynamic duo.

(18:32):
And right now, who is Rashard'sor Rashad's dynamic duo? Is it?
Kei sharn vaugh Is it going tobe Chase Edmonds? It wasn't Tucker,
So uh that falls to me.I feel like the lack of running
back quality depth behind Rashad is abig deal because now he's the only one
really getting the carries, so hewe're focusing on him and they keep running

(18:56):
him up the middle. So again, the hate for Rashad, I think
is a little you know, wrong, But opinions our opinions. I get
it. So I mean, let'ssay Rashad White is the guy next year.
Let's kind of widen the lens hereand take a look at next season.
Do they go out and try topick up a good RB two.
We know that Leonard Fournette signed adeal up with the Bills, kind of

(19:18):
a practice tryout thing up with theBills there. And the reason I bring
up Fournette in the first place isthere was rumblings out there that maybe he
should come back to the Buccaneers.Ultimately, I don't think that's the right
idea. I was listening to aRick Drought and he's like, he spent
a lot of time on the couch. He's probably not going to be good
to go right out of the gatethere. But for next season, for
you, for RB number two,who is that going to be? Do

(19:41):
they have someone in house in theorganization or do they need to get someone
else? I mean, at therisk of sounding like a hard take here,
I'll say in house, no,do I think Sean Tucker is you
know, unusable? No, Ithink he has a role, But I
think it's you know, RB three. So what we're really talking about here

(20:04):
is who do the Buccaneers look tofill the RB one role? Do you
go out and get a veteran likehe tried with Chase Edmonds? I mean,
I guess me, I think, you know. Putting on my prediction
hat here and looking at the draftcoming up. I think they're gonna draft
another running back. I don't thinkhigh. I don't think first or second

(20:27):
round. I think third or fourthand that's what we'll go with. But
I don't think a lot of peoplehave much face in Key Shaan von Chase
Edmonds has been hurt, so it'shard to say. And Sean Tucker,
do you remember they gave him apretty decent, legitimate go in the beginning
of the season and just nothing happened. But to be fair, he was

(20:48):
running behind the same offensive line thatcan't keep the middle from getting blocked.
So, Dan, it's a goodquestion because to answer your immediate question,
no, I don't think RB twois on this team now. I think
they're going to find them either inthe draft or free agency, but most
likely the draft, because while theBuccaneers have forty eight million in cap space

(21:08):
at the end of the season, they've got some huge signings they have to
make a decision about. And that'sjust to keep the team at status quo.
You need to also have money forfree agency to improve the team as
well as through the drafts. Souh, I think your RB two for
next season comes out of the NFLdrafts. This year. Yeah, well,

(21:29):
that's what we're hoping for. Imean, historically, I guess Jason
Light hasn't had the best luck ofdrafting and running back. But you know,
I think things could change here, all right. So coming up here
after the break, we will talkabout the game coming up against the Texans.
We'll talk about what players will returnto the Buccaneers. And the defense
is also an area of concern. We'll talk about that straight ahead. It's

(23:48):
So in the previous segment there wewere talking about what players are coming
and going. You touched on thatbriefly before the break. Let's talk about
the elephant in the room. Andthe biggest elephant that I can think of
is Mike Evans, a huge piecefor this BOS team for so many years.
Uh. The one thing, theone knock on him, I guess,
and maybe that's why there was reluctanceby Jason lt and you know,

(24:10):
the Glazers at large, I guess, is that he seems to suffer some
sort of injury each season, whetherit's hamstring, this, that or the
other thing. Do the Buccaneers haveenough room, you know, cap space
wise or money wise to bring himback? And do you think they get
the deal done and they can haveGodwin and Evans on this team again?
I think I think ultimately everybody involved, from Evans to the Buccaneers to the

(24:37):
fan base want to keep Mike Evans. I think that's a no brainer.
I think the money aspect is wherewe're at. You've got a team that's
asked Mike to restructure several times, and let's be clear, all those restructures
that Mike Evans did. He didn'ttake a pay cut, He just moved
money around and got it up front. So basically, and this isn't a

(24:59):
slight again sevens at all, butthe way that works out is his whole
year pay he got sent to himbefore the season started, when you all
like to get your yearly pay inadvance, but that allows for manipulation of
the cap. So to answer thequestion, I think everybody involved wants him
back. I will play Devil's advocatehere and say, from the team's perspective,

(25:23):
if you're purely looking at dollar signsand stats and analytics, Mike Evans
is thirty one. He's looking fora decent payday. I don't think he
wants to be paid top five, but I think he wants to be able
to see the top five from hiscontract. Do you put that much money

(25:45):
and how many years into a guywho's thirty one. I know what he's
done for the team. Again, this is Devil's advocate, not my opinion,
but I think you got to lookat it from both sides. The
team is looking he's I think he'slooking for fifteen million a year, twelve
million something like that. That it'sa three or four year deal with voidable
years. It's going to be adecent salary cap hit, and the Bucks

(26:07):
might be hesitant to do that forsomebody that age. Same way with Leamonte
David, both guys over thirty. And when you consider or factor in,
you've got Kristan Wurf's coming up,You've got Antoine Winfield junior coming up,
You've got Devin White coming up.And what nobody's really talking about is another
year from now you have Chris Godwinagain. So the money is the money.

(26:33):
It's a hard decision, I think, and I hate saying it like
this. If Tom Brady's a quarterback, they're all coming back, and I
think we all know that. Butif you don't even know who your quarterback
is, how are you going toput seventy some million dollars into a thirty
one year old wide receiver just tokeep the team together when you don't even
know who's loving the team. Sothere's a lot of hard decisions. And

(26:57):
let's say, you know, togo a little deeper, Baker Mayfield isn't
the guy. Now the Buccaneers arelooking for a quarterback. If they draft
one, you're developing a rookie,and that's ideal because it's a small contract,
but with rookies and the buccaneers historyquarterback selection, I'm not one hundred
percent sure on that. So thendo you go after a free agent?

(27:18):
Well, now you're paying top dollarand outbidding people, and you're losing a
good portion of that forty eight millionin cap space. So the short answer
is, and the answer that everybodywants to hear is yes, I think
they get a deal done, andI think everybody wants to see Mike Evans
finish his career here. The realityis the dollars and cents might not make
sense. I hate saying it,but yeah, And I mean that's one

(27:42):
of the things. One of theluxuries I think that this team has is
they have really two great options atrunning back or excuse me, wide receiver
in Godwin and Evans. And youknow, you want to widen the lens
a little bit more, you lookat Tompkins and Palmer. So they do
have some options. And I'm notgoing to say that Palmer Tompkins is anywhere
near what Mike Evans is. Ithink that they've shown flashes of greatness as

(28:04):
well, but it is going tobe a tough thing, and then you
talked about other players, Antoine WinfieldJunior. If I'm going to start prioritizing
players that I want to come back, I think that Antoine Winfield Junior is
definitely going to be one of those. Devin White love him. He's a
great motivator. If you listen tothe Bucks minute cast, he leads off
the show with his motivational speech everytime he's out there. I love what

(28:26):
he brings to the game. Buthe was kind of showing kind of attitude
problems, I guess in the beginningof the season. So let's kind of
start to prioritize here. You listedoff some players there. What players should
Jason Light prioritize on bringing back nextseason? I think, I mean,
I think it's really easy. AntoineWinfield Junior and Tristan wurs need to be

(28:49):
locked up long term. I thinkAntoine Winfield Junior is, whether he's considered
that or called that, the captainof that defense. He's definitely the leader,
you know, as far as makingbig plays and making splash plays.
Tristan Wurf's I don't need to sayanything. Just go look at the greats.
I mean, he switches from oneside to the other and doesn't miss

(29:10):
a beat. Might even be alittle better in some analytics after that.
Again, no disrespect to Devin White. I think he's a phenomenal athlete.
I think he's a phenomenal run runstopping linebacker. I think to get the
kind of money he's looking for,you need to have a game similar to

(29:32):
Levonte David where you can cover aswell as stop the run and call the
plays for the defense, which Idon't think Devin White has that capability.
So Devin White's going to be thebottom of my priority. I'll go Antoine
Winfield, Junior, Kristin Wurs,Mike Evans, and Devin White. I
would let Devin White walk. Iwould have traded him before the deadline to

(29:53):
get something, but trading assets offlike that the deadline is a sign of
giving up on the seat. Andthen the Buccaneers financially don't want to do
that. The stadium will be totallyempty, and you know, we'll be
dealing with Moose Johnson as our announcerevery week. You know. And one
of the funny things that I sawyou post, I think it was on

(30:15):
Twitter or ex whatever. We're callingit this day is you talked about the
creamsicle jerseys and let's not bring thosethings out for another ten years. I
believe you said so that was afunny thing there. I mean, being
that you have followed this team andbeen a fan for so many years.
When we talk about those creamsicle jerseys, For me, I like them.
I just it's the nostalgia. It'sthe old school. I like even the

(30:37):
old Patriots jerseys. I just thinkthat they had a lot more. I
just liked the older ones better.Suffices to say for you when you saw
the creamsicles come out, where you'relike, oh, oh, we're going
back to this, or like no, this is kind of refreshing. What
were your thoughts on that? Well, first and foremost, I'm a fan
of the creamsickles. I've been.I'm lucky and old enough to have been
here since day one with the Buccaneersnineteen seven and the first five seasons.

(31:03):
My family will season ticket holders,So from age six until eleven, I
was at every home game, andthen again I had season tickets later.
But we're focusing on creamsicle. Creamsickleuniforms to me are somewhat PTSD There's been
a lot of bad football played inthose just look at the nineties. But

(31:25):
here's what I will say, thenostalgic factor. I think the players really
enjoy wearing throwback uniforms. Something differentme myself. If I'm the organization,
I'm bringing out the creamsickles only forgames that were inducting somebody into the Ring
of Honor. It needs to bea special occasion and event something like that.

(31:48):
I love the creamsickles. I alsowant to see down the road when
we do a cream sickle or athrowback thing, and this will be a
blast from the passper Bucks fans.I want to see the white jerseys with
the orange cream sickle pants. That'swhat I want to see. The away
cream sickles, I think that thosewere slept on too real quick. While

(32:09):
we're talking uniforms, I'm going tomake an emotional plea to the Buccaneers.
I understand the fashion of the day, I understand the trends of the day.
But for the love of everything holyin football, for the love of
Vice Lombardi, John McKay and allthe Buccaneers great Derek Brooks, Warren sapp

(32:30):
Aronde, Barbara John Lynch, MikeAlstatt, can you please wear red and
pewter please? Sometimes white and whiteis getting to be a little redundant across
the league. The Buccaneers are redand pewter. White is a secondary or
even fourth color. Red and pewterplease, Buccaneers organization. All right,
I'll leave that alone now. Andyou know, I was thinking about this.

(32:52):
I was having a conversation with someoneat work about, you know,
bringing back old jerseys. And there'sone team that comes to mind that has
never really changed their logo or nota lot, and that is the Raiders.
Why are the Raiders untouched? Whenyou think about it, I mean,
I think of like the old Broncoslogo, and I think, like
I said, of the Patriots orthe Eagles, I think that I just

(33:15):
like the vintage look of it.For you, the Raiders, let's talk
about that on a bit of anoff topic here. Why is their jersey
untouched or their logo that is?I don't know if it's something because you
know, that team's been in thesame family for quite a while, so
I don't know if that's a respector homage L. Davis or if they

(33:37):
just think that the uniforms are finethe way they are, or perfect the
way they are, you know howRaider fans are. I thought there would
be a little bit of a rebrandingwhen they moved from Oakland to Las Vegas,
not like a color change or anythingdrastic, but you know a little
bit the other side of that isand I kind of experienced this. So

(33:58):
it's going to sound like I'm contradictingmyself about the cream sickle and throwbacks here
a little bit. But the othernight watching the Steelers play, heinz Field
black and gold or black and yellow, the iconic Pittsburgh Steeler uniform with the
white numbers, but the name isyellow. So the Green Bay Packers,

(34:19):
iconic Chicago Bears, iconic Oakland Raiderssomething the Cleveland Browns, as horrible as
they are, There's some things thatI think don't need to be changed.
But I do think down the road, as marketing becomes the biggest thing,
and you know, merchandise sale isobviously at the top of every team's thought

(34:43):
list, we're going to see somechanges in these iconic uniforms. I do
think the last people to hold thatwill be Pittsburgh and Oakland, though I
just feel like well, first ofall, to me, the Steelers log
or uniforms are perfect. I likethem just the way they are. I've
always you know, from a likethe Raiders organization because of the rebel mentality

(35:04):
under Al Davis. I'm not abig fan of his son. To me,
he looks like microwave John Gruden, and I don't think he makes good
decisions. But to answer your question, I think the Raiders' uniform is iconic
and I think they they're sticking withthat with tradition. And I will say
in college football at least the multipledifferent uniforms has gotten a little bit out

(35:25):
of the hand and we can thankOregon for that. But I get it,
you got to sell jerseys. Themore jerseys you have, the more
you're going to sell. So toanswer your question, I think the Raiders
are just arrogant and they like itthe way they are and they're not going
to conform to society. But Ido think there's changes in Evilie where all
these teams coming. They have toat some point and it's tough, you

(35:47):
know, And I can hear aproducer like you're saying, Dan, get
it back on topic here. Butin any event, here, let's get
it back to the Bucks. Herethey take on the Texans. The Houston
Texas Texans will start a run forthe book of facing three rookie quarterbacks in
five weeks. CJ. Stroud hasn'tplayed like most rookies, with just one
interception all season. The Texans havethe fewest turnovers in the league with just

(36:10):
four, and they've allowed only fifteensacks despite an offensive line that has seven
players on ire and four others limitedby injuries. This is the team that
has seen different centers this year. And the one thing I'm going to say
here is I don't want the Bucksto fall into what you're gonna call a
trap game, where they're going togo in and like this is the Texans.

(36:30):
Historically, they haven't been that goodand they take their eyes off the
ball. I don't think they needany disadvantages for this team. What are
your keys for success for the Bucksto take down the Texans? Well,
this is going to sound a littlebit like we're replaying earlier from the show,
but it's really that simple. Firstof all, attacking or defending against

(36:52):
the Texans. Damian Pierce, therunning back, is not playing. He's
out. They have offensive line problems, you have a rookie quarterback. Me
and most people would think what youdo is you pressure and blitz the rookie
play man for man, make himmake a mistake. And so I think

(37:13):
the key is we have to pressureCJ. Stroud, keep him in the
pocket, don't let him get freeand running around and embarrass you man.
Demand coverage because there's going to besome balls that are fifty to fifty and
from the offensive side of the ballagain, shorts, intermediate passes, soften
that defense up, and then hithim with some run game action with Rashan

(37:35):
White back in you know the day. Let's say back to the first Super
Bowl era of the Buccaneers facing arookie quarterback with offensive line injuries and they're
starting running back out. This teamwould be licking their chops. And I
don't feel that. I don't sensethat, and that bothers me because Shaq
Bartt should be every interview this weekshould be like, you know, we're

(37:59):
going to come after the quarterback, and Todd Bowles, We're going to come
after the quarterback. But it's allstatus quo, and that might be part
of the coaching philosophy. I don'tknow. But again, rookie quarterback,
banged up offensive line, no startingrunning back. It should be a field
day for the Buccaneers defense. SoI say, pressure, pressure, pressure

(38:20):
the quarterback, and you know, score twenty four points and you win.
All right? I want to lockyou in here. Do the Bucks win
the game? You can phone afriend if you want to. Uh,
well, I don't have many friends, so I'm going to call on myself
here. I'm going to say, just because I threw the number twenty four
out there, the Buccaneers win ina close one, closer than it should

(38:43):
be, twenty four to twenty oneon a last second field goal by Chase
McLaughlin with the drive being led byBaker Mayfield in crunch time. Well that's
a pretty good pick. I hateto say it because I do like the
Bucks, but I do see themlosing this game, and I know that
I shouldn't say that. I thinkI should say that they should win every
game, and I would love tobe proven wrong. It just seems like

(39:05):
this negativity snowball has gotten bigger andbigger and bigger, and this team needs
to break out. Don't get mewrong, Bucks fans. I would love
so much to be wrong on this. It's just kind of they're having a
hard time overcoming this hill. ButI guess we will find out on Sunday.
Listen to it. I want tothank you for joining me on this
edition of the Bucks Report. Talkto us a little bit about the Bucks
Report and what shows should we checkout? Oh? Absolutely, And before

(39:30):
I get into that, I wouldjust want to say, Hey, everybody
listening, this is your first time. Make sure you come back and check
out on Dan and his content. One of the best in the business,
the most professional guy that still hasfun. It's a beautiful thing. And
tune into his shows for nothing else. The hysterical Manscape promo spot. It's
beautiful words coming out of Dan's mouththat I didn't think of here, but

(39:53):
here they are, and it's abeautiful thing. Also great sponsor. If
you don't use the product, youshould use it and if you do so,
buy it through Dan's code. BucksReport. Here's what we are,
man. We know our role,we know our place here. We are
never going to overtake the big dogson the porch who've been here for ten
twenty years doing it. So whatwe are is we report on the Bucks

(40:17):
If they do something transaction win lose. We're going to put up an article
about it. But what we're reallyhere for is to get young, up
and coming content creators, whether itbe written or digital. If you're looking
to get in and you've got apassion, we want to help elevate these

(40:37):
people. We want to help getthem out as much as possible. And
we use our followers, which withour Sports Talk Forward affiliation is roughly one
hundred thousand followers across the Internet toget people like Dan and writers like jt
Olsen and Carter Brandt Lee and JeremyMoreau get their name out there, to
get our show host of the Aftermath, pregame and postgame show on Bucks Report,

(41:01):
Aj turn Up and Coach Slick. We want to get these people out
there as much as possible. Mygoal with people like Dan and anybody at
Bucks Report is obviously I'd love havinggood people working with us, and I
hate to see him go. Butand other people who have worked here before,

(41:22):
like JC Allen at Bucks Game DaySports Illustrated, will tell you I'm
excited when they get opportunities to moveup the ladder. That's a beautiful thing
in my book, and with ouraffiliation. Now that Dan brought to the
table with one or two nine inthe game broad Street South and Angel Martinez,
the impressions, the reach on socialmedia and across the internet is only

(41:44):
getting bigger. So basically was Bucksreport. We report on everything Buccaneers.
We throw in some opinion, somepodcasts, some live streams and you can
catch those. Like I said, pregame and post game, after every game
and before the aftermath, we alwaysgo live at nine point thirty the following
night of a game, so Sundaygame, Monday aftermath, Thursday game,

(42:07):
Friday aftermath and so on. That'sour reaction show. That's where you can
come on. Anybody can come on. We'll send you a link you can
come on, you can rant raveor otherwise. And as technology improves and
the dude over here figures out howto use it, we will soon be
adding a call in phone line toour stream yard and live streams and podcasts.

(42:29):
So if you're a little scared tocome on camera and you don't want
to do like I'm doing and blockthe camera out, you can just call
in and tell us we're stupid, tell us we're great. We're here because
we're fans, and we have theopportunity to use this platform to try to
elevate anybody trying to break into thebusiness, cut their teeth or otherwise.
And that's why when you see peoplelike Dan out here, they're grinding day

(42:51):
in and day out putting out content. Ninety nine percent of us don't get
paid. We're doing this for thelove of the game and to hope to
build something to which to grow upon. And that's why affiliations with Sports Talk
Florida one or two nine in thegame, We've got an affiliation with several
other outlets that aggregate and help shareour content. Again, we appreciate each

(43:15):
and every one of the listeners, each and every one of the visitors to
the website. We do this becauseit's the Bucks and some of us.
We're all football, even in theoff season. So if you are looking
for an opportunity, reach out toone of our social media pages. If
you like what you're hearing, pleaselike, share, and subscribe. And

(43:36):
when you see people like Dan oraj or Slick or even Rick Hughes and
Bucks Live on Tuesday nights at ninethirty, you see them posting, give
them a like, give them ashare, they're doing this one because they
love it, but two because theywant you to have the best and most
accurate information a possible. Absolutely alot of great content on the Bucks Report.

(43:59):
Check them out online a Bus Reporton YouTube. The best way you
can help the channel is to likeand comment anything down below That all helps
the algorithm get going and kind ofputting it on blast in front of everyone
listen to it. I want tothank you once again for joining us on
