well as coming back to direct two episodes of Roswell
(00:21):
New Mexico. The Buzz at Buzzworthy Radio starts now.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
The Buzz Buzz The Buzz is on.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Buzz is on, the show.
Speaker 2 (00:31):
That gets you up close and personal with some of
the hottest stars. Now here's your host, Novelle Jaylee.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
What's going on everybody? And welcome into a special edition
of The Buzz at Buzzworthy Radio. I'm your host, Novelle
jay Lee, and we have the pleasure of attending the
fourteenth season of ATX Television Festival in downtown Austin, Texas.
Let me tell you this event, I swear is the
comic Con of television. They truly believe that, and we
(01:02):
get to enjoy television the best way we know how.
And what an honor it was for me to be
there for my second year. We got to talk to
plenty of amazing people at this event. In this episode alone,
Jane Seymour sat down with me to talk about Harry
Wild the season finale, as well as her new show
(01:22):
Relative Secrets that premiere is on a Quarant TV. Also,
Sherry Appleby sat down with me to relive ten years
Can you believe it? Ten years since Unreal premiered on Lifetime.
But first up, Paul Powell sat down with me to
talk about Art Detectives, the new show that is premiering
on the Quarant TV on June ninth, as well as
(01:43):
getting into a little bit of how a quarantinv came
to be as well as the background of the network itself.
We may have also fanboid a little bit to doctor
who I'll let you be the judge. Paul Powell is
joining me, Thank you so much, and so I was
(02:05):
teasing him before we started this that there was a
little bit of a little bit of a secret as
to what I may have known him from and what
show I watched that he has an actor on in
Art Detectives that is premiering on a Quarant TV on
the ninth of June. Said I was a big fan
of so I'm going to start with the first part.
I watched this. I didn't know you were involved in it,
(02:26):
but the Doctor Who Who's the Next Doctor special?
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Okay, we can talk for hours on this.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
I watched that because I am a Doctor Who fan.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
I'm a massive talt to Who.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
So I did watch that special and when I found
out you were involved in I was.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
Like, can we talk about that?
Speaker 1 (02:40):
How we can? So?
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Look, I was basically there when they announced Peter Capaldi
as the twelfth Doughta.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
And there was already hinted rumors even before that airing
took place that he was joined the show, was the
new Doctor. And then when it officially.
Speaker 3 (02:56):
Happened, Yeah, but even I didn't know until about two
hours before we went live. We were live on air
on BBC one two hours before, but we did not know,
but we had Yeah, so I got to, yeah, spend
a bit of time with Peter. Okay, I fan god here,
I really did. And then we Yeah, we had some
people on the panel. So we had Bernard Cribbins on
(03:19):
the panel, who was you know, regular character in Doctor Who's.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
So I had a ball. I had a great time.
Speaker 3 (03:26):
Yeah, got to hang out with Darlk's and then I
did the Doctor Who after party, which wasn't so successful,
which followed for the fiftieth anniversary.
Speaker 4 (03:35):
Oh yes, yes, yes, but.
Speaker 3 (03:37):
I did get to hang out with a whole lot
of old doctors and companions, so that wasn't a bad day.
And I got to play with the Sonic Screwdriver and
K nine.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
What did you think of the first Leady Doctor.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
I was very happy. She was great, Jody. I thought
she brought a lot of energy to the show. I mean, yeah,
I love the fact the show changes as much as
the Doctor does.
Speaker 4 (03:57):
Just like that.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
I'm just amazing how long it's lasted, because you know,
it's going back into the seventies.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
I think sixty two years. It started in nineteen sixty three.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Nineteen sixty three, yeah, I was alfy ten years because
I was going to say eighteen seventy three.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Yeah, you've got a lot of catching up.
Speaker 1 (04:11):
I was the math was a math in there, guys,
it wasn't math in there, but that was great that
you were involved in out now art Detectives. Let's get
into the description of this show, because then I'm going
to let you know exactly who I was referring to
in this show. So what is this show about?
Speaker 3 (04:30):
So this is a brand new Acorn TV show six
forty five.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Minutes based around crimes in the art world.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
It's a series of murder mysteries, the case of the week,
and it's around two characters who are Mick and Shazier,
two police officers who head up the Heritage Crime Unit,
so they go in to investigate crimes. There's normally a
murder at the start of it. So we have a
murder mystery and then we have a mystery revolving around
the art world. Okay, and that's a very broad art world.
(04:57):
That's fine.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
Wine have archaeology, we have we're literally right now deco.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Basically, someone come up behind us and steal a bottle
of wine, we're gonna look very stupid. So yeah, we
have a very broad sense of art. So it's not
just paintings. Every week. We have all different kinds of precincts.
We go to a recording studio, we go to a world,
we go to Belfast, Oh Wow, to where we have
a collective of Titanic memorabilia.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
So, you know, we do have a very broad.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Range of great mysteries and great cast you know, we have.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
To is an executive producer.
Speaker 5 (05:35):
Is that he is?
Speaker 3 (05:36):
Indeed, yes, Stephen was fabulous. He's such a good actor
and he's a lovely man, so he really helped push
the show. So and the chemistry he has with Nina
Singher is phenomenal. They are so good together. There's a
real energy there which really pushes the show. So yeah,
I'm very excited for people to see it. I think
it's a I'm very proud of it. So all right
(05:56):
here it is here. It is the show that I
was referring to.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
It's a coupling. Ah, Sarah Alexander. Alexander is brilliant Sarah
alex and I loved that show. I was a big fan.
Speaker 1 (06:07):
I loved her as Susan back to doctor who.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Show.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
So yes, Sarah plays a kind of curator.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
And I met the woman who sang the theme song
a few years ago. Really, yes, I did, okay, because
her husband was working on the show here in the
stage being on the rest of us at the time.
He was head writing the show at the time. So
I went to an after party and I met him
and my wife, Oh, this.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
Is great to talk.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
But Sarah comes on board as she is the love
interest for want of a better words, So she figures
through out the series, and her kind of on off
relationship with Mick is one of the kind of series
arc stories that we explored, along with the fact that
mixed long lost father turns up and comes back into
his life. Yeah yeah, so can he be trusted because
(06:56):
this man is a ironically a very experience forger.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
If you watch the trailer that premiere four weeks ago,
it's on YouTube, there is a scene in there where
the father is mentioned. It's a possibility that he is
also an art thief.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Yeah so yeah, So that's again, We've got lots of
little stories each week, and then a story or two
running over the series, so you.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Get value for money on Art Detectives. Pack it in,
you pack it in. And Sarah is fabulous. We had
a lot of fun with Sarah.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
She's a brilliant actor and again, a really good relationship
with Stephen, which I think really works well on screen.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
It really sizzles when they're together.
Speaker 1 (07:32):
What I missed your panel yesterday because I honestly thought
it was today. I literally thought it was today. So
I was going like, yeah, I'm gonna go, I'm going
to and then know it already happened.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
Oh man, So.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
Not only was the math not math in the days
weren't matching up.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Well, you also missed the fantastic Jane Seymour talking about
Harry Wilde. So yeah, I'm afraid you're forty yourself. You
missed it.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
I missed it. Luckily I'll be able to talk to
Jane in a few minutes. But yeah, yes, Harry Wilder
has got a new show coming out that's.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
A Relative Secrets on Acorn TV.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
Yeah. So we had a great time.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
We had a now just talking about how Acorn TV
makes crime shows, and one thing is.
Speaker 1 (08:10):
That that was really where that was really where I
was going to ask that question. Acorn TV like the.
Speaker 3 (08:15):
Home of murder Mystery, and again they make beautiful murder mystory.
That's one of the things that was important to ask
for art detectives was to make the show look good.
So you know, we've got beautiful country houses, we've got
beautiful restaurants.
Speaker 4 (08:27):
Car pations.
Speaker 3 (08:28):
Oh yes, you know, it's it's a world of wealth.
So you know, we wanted to make sure that that
was reflected on screen. So hopefully it's a nice bit
of scapism as well.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
I can't wait to watch it. That's gonna be That's
right up my alley. I'm a big Columbo guy, so
so this I feel like is going to fit right
into my wheelhouse. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it.
Speaker 3 (08:48):
I hope so, I really hope you do, because we
had a lot of fun making it.
Speaker 1 (08:51):
Thank you so June named everybody checking it out. Art
Detectives premieres on aquarant TV. Paul Pleasure, thank you so
much too. Fan Coming up, Jane Seymour gives fans a

(10:14):
Harry Wilde, which just celebrated a season five renewal. But
wait until you hear we had to discuss about her
new show that she co host called Relative Secrets. If
you thought Finding Your Roots was intriguing, wait until you
find out what we had to discuss about this show.
I can't wait any longer. You guys got to listen
(10:35):
to this right now here. It is Jane Seymour with
the buzz. Thank you so much for taking time to
speak with me today. Thank you, Jane Seymour, everybody. Harry
wild I believe is the finale is on Monday, Yes,
which also is the same day that the new show
(10:57):
Relative Secrets premieres.
Speaker 5 (10:59):
I believe. But I know it comes straight after the Yes,
I think so. But pretty exciting, isn't it.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:06):
Double double header for you, A.
Speaker 5 (11:07):
Double header two series on Acorn, back to back yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Yeah, So I already talked a Paul about Acorn TD,
just like the background of it, because for me, I
never knew about it until that's this festival.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Literally, this festival.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
It's insane, isn't it. It's crazy. And I spoke to
them because it's as you now know, because we're gonna
have our fifth season. This thing is huge and it's
sold all over the world, and I said, how can
we get this little acorn to look a bit more
like an oak? I mean, how do we let people
know it exist? And so they humored me and they
(11:44):
put it on BBC America. Yes it did, and that
was a brilliant move because then people saw it and
they went, oh, I love this, and then they subscribe
to Acorn, and from what I gather, people are thrilled.
I mean more and more subscribers because of Harry Wild.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
So I'm glad that I am so in tune with
a lot of the shows that a Quarrant TV has
because I love prime television procedurals and all that stuff.
So for me to learn about this at this festival,
which is the perfect venue for this, and learning what's
behind it is thrilling for me and I can't wait
to actually subscribe to me when I get back home
to New Jersey. Absolutely also with Relative Secrets, because I
(12:24):
feel like that's like I'm finding your roots type thing,
but it's a bit more, it's a bit more intense,
I think, way more.
Speaker 4 (12:31):
Yes, with the description of it.
Speaker 5 (12:32):
So what we did is we narrowed it down to
four stories, and each story actually also deals with a
time in history in American history where certain things happened
as well. So rather like Harry Wilde where you accidentally
learn about literature and history and culture and things, that
the same kind of thing happens here, but really specifically,
(12:53):
it's four different families or people who have a secret
in their family and they don't really know what happened,
and they really need to know because they need to
have closure. Yes, and you know, one is a woman
whose father was a serial killer and she wants to
know for her and her daughter that you know, what
(13:16):
the rest of the family were like well, and she
wants to find anyone that wasn't a bad guy in
her lineage. Oh so that was a very interesting one.
That makes sense, and we could not believe how you were.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
But she feels like she wants to break the cycle.
Speaker 5 (13:33):
Break the cycle, but also to understand where did it
come from, and how far back does this kind of
behavior go and why and how. And then there's a
wonderful one of a guy who was adopted and always
thought there was something about his adopted father. He didn't
quite know what it was, and we find out a
secret that he had no idea about about who his
(13:53):
actual birth parents were and who his adoptive parents are.
And that's I don't want to give it away for anyone,
but you would never imagine that. And that was huge.
And then we did one of three kids, two or
three kids I think, whose mother just disappeared when they
were two kids. As adults, but when they were kids,
(14:16):
their mother disappeared and their father didn't know where she was.
I mean, one day she was there, then she wasn't.
And after about six or seven years she was declared
dead and they were convinced that she actually did not die,
and they're convinced that she maybe had another life somewhere else,
so we investigated that for her. And oh and then
(14:39):
the Willie, the African American guy who was actually raised
by his grandmother who was post slavery and so we
got into where she was and the plantations, and he
had actually been involved with that too, was ninety nine
years old when he came to us about he at
fifteen had left home and had joined the navy and
(15:00):
sent his money back to his grandmother to take care
of her. And then eventually she died or who's told
she died, and he wasn't convinced that she ever got
the money or that she died from natural causes, and
so it was killing him. He said, I can't die,
I can't go to my grave. I can't pass on
(15:20):
until I know that my grandmother what happened to my grandmother,
And so we had to investigate that, and we found
out exactly what happened to his money and to the grandmother,
to the money too, and the money and he lived knowing.
He was so thrilled, so thrilled, he had tears in
his eyes. He said, thank you, thank you, thank you
for telling me this. And we celebrated his one hundredth birthday,
(15:44):
and he just passed about a week or so ago.
So we were able to do this, We.
Speaker 1 (15:49):
Able to provide that closure for him.
Speaker 5 (15:50):
And of course in doing this show, you meet all
the generations, so it's like four or five, four generations,
depends how all they are of family who all want
to know what is our family secret?
Speaker 1 (16:01):
So very cool. Shit, Wow, I'm just like, I'm just
intensified just listening to this. I can't wait to watch it.
But Harry Wilder, what did you say about the finale
that's coming up in just a couple of days.
Speaker 5 (16:14):
Well, it's themed. We have a murder right at the beginning,
as we always do, and this one definitely has elements
of Dracula, but there is no actual Dracula. As Harry
Well points out at the murder scene, she says, Dracula
didn't do it, Van Helsing did. So you know, we
(16:37):
get all kinds of information we didn't actually know and
needed to know, and then after that we we try
and figure out. But there's also another element, which is
that we know Harry has a son, Charlie, who is
the guard who's who's supposed to be the brilliant criminal detective,
and I'm always trying to help him out and usually
(16:57):
solving his cases because he's very obstentate, won't listen to
his mother obvious reasons.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
But I can't relate.
Speaker 5 (17:05):
Yeah, So but his father suddenly shows up and we
haven't seen him in a long time, we don't know
anything about him, and in this episode we find out
more about him and why he's shown up. Okay, and
and that's really interesting and and ultimately, you know, there's
(17:27):
a fantastic scene where he's in trouble and he needs
Harry to help him, and we get to see whether
or not she wants to and if she does, why
she does.
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Okay, definitely, and it's good. I heard, I just recently
heard a few minutes ago that we will be screaming
an episode tonight.
Speaker 5 (17:45):
I believe, yes, no, no, not not mine of his.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
Arttectives architective and you are.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
I'm not nothing to do with that other than that
I'm also British and Paul and I have become good friends.
And in a conversation on that, Oh no, I think
they're talking to They're talked to me first and then
to him and both of us together, I'm not sure, No, separately.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
Yeah, oh so that's what.
Speaker 5 (18:10):
But Paul and I have now of course bonded over
the fact that he you know, as you know, if
you've just interviewed and did art history and I'm actually
an artist and I've always wanted to do something theme
to that. So you never know. We maybe we'll cook
something up.
Speaker 4 (18:24):
I think you should.
Speaker 5 (18:25):
I think we should. We should, we should have Harry
help out the architectives.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
I never know.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
You never know anyway. No, so we're seeing his his show.
And but Harry Wild also has a surprise two hour
coming up before Christmas. I believe they haven't told me when,
but we've already shot it and it's fantastic. It's a
two hour episode and and actually big news season five.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Season five, I did hear about congrat relations.
Speaker 5 (19:00):
So I start actually shooting that in September.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
In September, that's the September.
Speaker 5 (19:05):
It's been a secret I've been having to keep for all.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Well, it's the perfect time to announce it here at
the festival, for sure.
Speaker 5 (19:12):
So if anyone has never heard of Acorn, this is
your opportunity.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
Please subscribe to it. Please look it up. It's absolutely phenomenal.
I just looked it up right after their panel yesterday.
Never knew about it until this festival, and it's absolutely
something that I if I watch it, you are definitely
going to watch it. Miss James Symour thank you so much.
I appreciate it. June first, twenty fifteen, Lifetime will unveil
(19:40):
a show that would have fans laughing, crying, or possibly angry,
and not just within the first episode alone. Unreal celebrated
its ten year anniversary at the ATX TV Festival, and
I got to talk with some of the cast and crew,
including Constant Zimmer, Jeffrey Boyer Chapman, and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro.
That interview was coming later this week, but first, Sheery
(20:02):
Applebee got to sit and talk about her time on
the show, as well as Roswell and possibly calling me
out just a little bit on my Buffy the Vampire
Slayer fandom. Maybe not so much as her calling me
out as me giving it away in the interview, watch
and see. It's nice to meet you.
Speaker 6 (20:28):
To meet you too.
Speaker 7 (20:30):
That was nice of you to say that.
Speaker 4 (20:34):
I feel like it ended way too early.
Speaker 7 (20:37):
I don't know if I agree with that. I no,
sixty three episodes, that's a lot of episodes.
Speaker 6 (20:46):
That's a lot of story for the network that it
was on yes time, that we don't do that anymore.
Speaker 7 (20:52):
Sixty three episodes would take you like eight years or something.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
I feel like it now because they space it out
like every turn.
Speaker 8 (20:59):
Yeah and real.
Speaker 7 (21:00):
We did the first season, we did ten, then we
went down, I got pregnant, had a baby, lost the weight,
and then they were ready to do the second season.
No one was waiting for me. Nice and I'm going
to have a Coca Cola because that's what.
Speaker 9 (21:17):
Everybody needs, that's what everyone does. I didn't get any water,
yes either words fine.
Speaker 1 (21:31):
This is what I love about this is that we
literally could do interviews and we get fed and drinks.
Speaker 8 (21:37):
Because we're actors.
Speaker 6 (21:38):
I'm an actor in this moment.
Speaker 8 (21:40):
Keep them happy.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
You have to keep the actors happy, them happy. Ten
years ten years.
Speaker 8 (21:46):
Years since Unreel came on the.
Speaker 1 (21:48):
Air, on the air, and you get to celeb and
you got to celebrate them.
Speaker 6 (21:51):
That was so interesting.
Speaker 7 (21:52):
You know, it was our very first time, thank you
very much.
Speaker 6 (21:56):
It was our very first.
Speaker 8 (21:58):
Time sitting on a stage doing any kind of.
Speaker 7 (22:00):
Like retrospective kind of thing. So it's interesting to sort
of take a look back. I've never I've never been
somebody to go back and watch a show again, Like
once I've made it, I kind.
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Of make it and then you just move on to
the next and.
Speaker 7 (22:14):
So it's always interesting to see how it like registered,
not only for the audience, with the other actors on
the show, and then just see like how is.
Speaker 6 (22:20):
Your lives going, what's new? And so it's kind of fun.
It's like going to a high school reunion.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
What was the fan reception, like when you saw you
had the panel already.
Speaker 6 (22:31):
And it seems like they liked the show.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
I hope so they showed because they liked the show.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
I hope that's why they changed.
Speaker 5 (22:40):
So funny, I.
Speaker 7 (22:42):
Think they liked it. I think, yeah, they seem like
they liked it. I think they understood like the messaging
of it. I think they understood the characters.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
A reality show in reality show.
Speaker 8 (22:54):
Yeah, and I was kind of, you know, ahead of
its time.
Speaker 7 (22:56):
We were sort of like pulling back a curtain of
like this is how reality is being made.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
Before, especially when you had somebody involved who worked on
the Beasts.
Speaker 7 (23:03):
Yeah, like there was like we were sort of like really,
I still get a lot of questions from people asking me.
Speaker 6 (23:09):
Now, like is that really how it goes down? I'm like,
I think so.
Speaker 7 (23:13):
I think that's the world. So that's kind of cool
to be a part of something that's like the first.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
Yeah, and you were and Marty, Marty Knox and Marty.
Speaker 8 (23:20):
Knox and she has a hot pen.
Speaker 6 (23:22):
I like to say, it's a very good writer.
Speaker 4 (23:24):
I know. Speaking of hot pen.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
I know a lot of people gave flat to the
season that she was a part of on Buffy, which
is six and seven. But season six really.
Speaker 3 (23:32):
Was my favorite season of the show, so interesting.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
Mainly because of when Buffy came back to life and
how she had to deal with that.
Speaker 8 (23:39):
Very excited for the Buffy revival. Yes, that was like
I didn't even finish my sentence.
Speaker 1 (23:46):
Sorry, No, I love it.
Speaker 7 (23:47):
I can feel the passion. I feel like, I'm so
happy for Sarah Michelle.
Speaker 4 (23:51):
Yes, I am so happy for.
Speaker 7 (23:52):
Her because she has really like stuck through it and
she had found.
Speaker 8 (23:56):
An iconic character.
Speaker 7 (23:58):
Now she found a real filmmaker that's going to come
in and make it even cooer and like that audience
is going to talk to it.
Speaker 6 (24:04):
And I'm happy for her. She deserves it, really happy
for her.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
Literally you said exactly as to the reason why I'm
so excited for this revivals, because she's gone on the
record saying I don't want to do this unless I
know it's going to be done.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
I liked that's right.
Speaker 7 (24:18):
Good for her for saying that too. She's like, I'm
only gonna do it if it's like the highest level
and if there's a reason.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
And she found a reason, and she found the reason.
Speaker 7 (24:27):
Right with the filmmaker that like has an oscar in
her hair, I'm like, God bless.
Speaker 4 (24:31):
And speaking of her bibles. You were a part of
the Roswell Oh.
Speaker 1 (24:35):
Yes, you guest starred in one and he directed.
Speaker 8 (24:38):
Yes directed two?
Speaker 1 (24:40):
You directed too? What was that like to come back
to that and also directing two episodes of the show.
Speaker 7 (24:46):
Yes, I directed first and I loved it. I was
realized sort of was my first episode directing that I
wasn't in as an actor, So it was.
Speaker 8 (24:54):
Like a big for me. Right.
Speaker 7 (24:56):
I was like, Okay, I'm off unreal and I want
to like make a run a direct I have to
get shows that I'm not on. Yea, so like kind
of epotism because they still have something to gain by
me directing it, but still it was a credit.
Speaker 8 (25:08):
Then they asked me to come back and do a
second one.
Speaker 7 (25:11):
Okay, and then they were like, will you please come
back the third season and just be in it for us.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
Was there any twisting of the arm for that answer?
Speaker 8 (25:21):
No, But I was just like, what do you want
me to do?
Speaker 7 (25:23):
Like the Liz character was really well formed on their show,
Like I'm not coming back as Liz, and they had
some ideas of what they wanted.
Speaker 8 (25:32):
I was like, whatever, as long.
Speaker 7 (25:33):
As you have a thing in mind, like, I'll do
whatever you want.
Speaker 8 (25:36):
They were so good to me that I was like
happy to come back.
Speaker 7 (25:40):
And I found everybody on the show really kind, really respectful.
They had every intention of making something really good, and
I was.
Speaker 8 (25:48):
Like happy for them to make it their own. I
was not like this is how I did it, It's
how I title role. It's your thing. Now go do
your thing.
Speaker 1 (25:55):
You gave them, You pretty much gave them the green
Light show. It's your show, your show, Go make it
good for you. Yeah, seeing everybody you already talked about,
seeing everybody coming back like a reunion, I think, yeah,
I missed you guys. Last night was literally coming in
last night at the rooftop bar. I saw everybody exiting
while I was coming in, and I was like, oh
(26:16):
my god, there's Jeffrey. I saw yes, just being in
that environment too, just last night just celebrating at the
A and C Studios party was what was I mean?
Speaker 8 (26:27):
It was really again it felt full circle.
Speaker 7 (26:29):
You're like man a and he treated us really great
the whole run of the show. They always had a
really well run. They really throw a party. They were
really kindness. They gave me a lot of opportunity.
Speaker 6 (26:40):
I directed.
Speaker 7 (26:41):
I had an overall deal like it was a really
rich experience, and everybody on set, like all the casts,
we were really kind in each other.
Speaker 8 (26:50):
It was like a really creative environment.
Speaker 7 (26:54):
And so it was just kind of like I said,
I kind of like going to a high school reunions.
Speaker 6 (26:57):
Feel like you're good, what's happening?
Speaker 7 (26:59):
Like Jeffrey and I used to manifest a lot on set,
you know, and like talk about like, yes, we're this
and we're in this experience, so what do you want this.
Speaker 6 (27:07):
Experience to lead to?
Speaker 3 (27:08):
Next?
Speaker 6 (27:09):
Right? And so then being like okay, so where are you?
You didn't lead there?
Speaker 1 (27:13):
Where do you?
Speaker 7 (27:13):
And he was like, actually it did, and I'm doing X,
Y and Z, and you're like, good for you. And
then Craig and I had known each other work together
when I was eighteen. Then we did the show together
and so now again seeing him ten years later, it
just feels like these people continue to be reoccurring in
your life, and it's nice to check in. And I'm
a wife and a mom now and I'm like fully
(27:34):
immersed in that.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
And it's nice to get you out here.
Speaker 8 (27:39):
I was like, I'm going out you guys, my kids
are home.
Speaker 6 (27:42):
That's right, n I fifteen.
Speaker 8 (27:43):
I have to go to sleep.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
I wish I did that last night.
Speaker 1 (27:48):
I would not be feeling the way I'm I have
to go to This is why I'm drinking water.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
That's so funny.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
But I had fun that.
Speaker 5 (27:57):
It was worth it.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
It was worth it.
Speaker 5 (27:58):
There you go.
Speaker 7 (27:59):
Is this your first I've been a few times before.
Speaker 8 (28:02):
I came for Roswell reunion.
Speaker 4 (28:05):
Okay, I came.
Speaker 7 (28:06):
They said that, I I don't know, I've been a
few times. I said, I just kind love Boston, great city.
This morning a walk and woke up early. It took
a walk down around the river. I got my ten
thousand steads.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
So what I'm going to do tomorrow since I don't
have anything tomorrow, literally, what I'm gonna be doing?
Speaker 6 (28:25):
It was really nice.
Speaker 7 (28:26):
It was really picturesque and there's a ton of people
out on the streets and I loved it.
Speaker 4 (28:30):
Awesome.
Speaker 1 (28:31):
Yeah, I'm so glad I got to meet and talk
to me too. I know you got some others out
there that I want to take their time, but I'm
so glad you gave me your time.
Speaker 8 (28:38):
I'm glad I got you a boss of water.
Speaker 1 (28:40):
I'm glad too.
Speaker 8 (28:41):
Now you're hydrated. Now you've just seen a little coke
to have a little sugar.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
And I get to talk to Sarah after this.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
Oh cool.
Speaker 7 (28:47):
She's so interesting. You'll have a really good time talking her.
Speaker 8 (28:50):
She's really really nice.
Speaker 6 (28:51):
Yeah, Sherry, thank you, Thank you so much.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
We got more at X on the way as we
sit down with the cast and crew of Finding Mister Christmas,
Unreal and King of the Hill. That's our show. I'm
