Speaker 1 (00:00):
A success in life company.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
What is it you want?

Speaker 1 (00:02):
Give your best effort, show me what you got. If
you want to be a success, you've gotta have.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
It's the Burke Fathyany Coaches Shoe presented by Kobe and
Shepherd Realders and First Community Mortgage. A competitive combo championship
results and here's your host. Jeff Siedle and Muller head
football coach Burt Bethyany.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
W MOE and the Molar Broadcasting Network present the Burt
Bathiani Show between the head coach of the Moler Football
Crusaders that is Burt Bathyani. The show is sponsored by
Kobyan Shepherd Realtors. That's what I do. I'm Jeff Schneidel,
class of nineteen eighty four, and it is always great

(00:47):
to sit down with the head coach of the Crusader
football team, Bert Bathyany coach, how we doing today?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Feeling good? I want to know red to roll? We're
going to make it another want tono this week?

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Get out of the way. Yeah, hey New Territory know, yeah,
how about that last year? How about that? And uh,
you know we'll get into the Princeton game. But it
just seemed like everything, uh you know, the preparation that
getting there, everything was was in sync and everything was good.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, I think everything, you know, not according to plan,
but whatever happened, we were ready for that situation when
it unfolded. And give a lot of credit to our coaches,
our op staff, our players. They were ready to handle
every situation and they did a good job.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Coach doing the broadcast, I always like that we're calling
a lot of different names. Yeah, and uh, there's a
lot there's a lot of involvement. You know, we'll get
into it, but in a general sense, I mean, we
know what Matt's stats were, I mean very very impressive.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
I think the for me, the most impressive status nine
different receivers. Yeah, I mean you're not playing pitch and
catch with one or two guys. You're moving I think
all around that that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
Yep. And that's a testament to the talent on our
roster and then our coaching staff and their rotation being
able to get those guys in and all those players
have earned that trust from January, February, March, April May
throughout the summer, and it's a it's a body of
work that you have to develop over the course of

(02:13):
that time to then be able to go execute in
that moment. So a lot of guys touch the football,
a lot of guys made plays, and that's a testament
to the roster of the coaching staff, and you know,
really proud of them.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Coaches. A kind of a little bit of an exhale
maybe for staff and players that, hey, game ones out
of the way. The guys who have been there and
done that are kind of back into it, and maybe
the newbies, the guys who've never dressed for varsity, now
they've kind of gone through a real, you know, situation,
and now it's just kind of let's just let's just
stay on task and this is what we're gonna do

(02:46):
week to week.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
Maybe for a second. I mean, it's just like any game.
Like you you have different emotions after the game is done,
whether you win or lose, and then you have to
block those out and focus on the netwek next week,
So you got to reset pretty quick. So maybe to
a certain agree that night, and then the next day
you wake up and you realize, hey, it's not as
good as you thought it was, right, and you still
have to get better, and we'll be a work in progress.

(03:08):
So my goal is we look better this week than
we did last week, and by week ten, eleven, twelve,
all the way to the end of this season. My
goal is we look like a completely different team than
what we were week one. That's the goal.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
The evolution of the team. That's evolution. So all right,
coach and I have to throw in that. You know
there was no weather jinks. I know we talked about
on the previous show. You said I threw a jinx.
So it was. It was a good crystal clear evening
for a good football game.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Absolutely, it was great.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
All right, let's take our first break. We're gonna come
back and we're gonna roll through a little bit of
that Princeton game as the one to Oh Crusaders are
off and running as you're listening to the Bert Bathyanni Show,
which features the head coach of the Molar Crusaders. Bert
bathy Annie Show is sponsored by Comy and Shepherd Realtors
and you hear it here on w MOE and the

(03:58):
Molar Broadcasting Thank you for listening to The Bert pathy
Andy Show, brought to you and sponsored by Comy and
Shepherd Reeltors. Go Big mo. We are tuned in to
w MOE and the Moler Broadcasting Network and specifically you're
listening to the Bert bathy Andy Show, which features the

(04:20):
head coach of the Crusaders. Bert Bathy Andy Show is
sponsored by Comy and Shepherd Reeltors. I'm Jeff Schneedle with
the class of nineteen eighty four here with the head
coach of the Crusaders, Bert pathy Andy. Coach. We started
the game great conditions. Princeton gets the ball. I mean,
I'll say, to their credit, I mean, they did almost

(04:42):
a six minute drive and wasn't really a big huge
play here there. They kind of just systematically converted and
got the ball down the field and got the first
score of the game.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Yeah, I think it kind of went the way we expected,
Like for the plays that we're gonna make, we're gonna
be getting the ball out in space, and that quarterback
scrambling around and making plays, which he did. He's a
really good athlete. And they got weapons all over the
field and that's exactly how we expected them to be
successful and those are the things we had to take away.

(05:12):
So that's kind of how they drove the ball down
the field and they punched it in. Give them credit.
So they punched us in the mouth early, and I
think that's exactly the game plan they wanted to play,
was taking time off the clock, working their way down
the field, and then keeping us off the field. And
so credit to them that went their way. And then
when we went three and out right away, and then

(05:33):
our defense, give them credit, they bounce back, and then
we started changing the momentum after that fact. But that
first quarter they played really really well and they had
us on the ropes.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
That was certainly nip and tuck, so to speak. As
you know, we didn't get a couple first downs, but
we really weren't close to scoring. And then in the
second quarter, you know, Princeton, Princeton had a drive. They
got down to the twenty three, and I thought one
you know, one of the big plays was the sack
by Jacob Craven's a loss of seven, which you know,

(06:05):
it wasn't just a sack by the way. I think
we had what six, which was very good by the
Havoc mop but the timing of that sack and then
it made it fourth and ten, so they lost the
you know, it was it was third and three. Now
they're fourth and tent kind of in no man's land.
I mean they have pretty good kicker, look like, I
mean a pretty good leg. As I reference, he was

(06:25):
kicking a couple of moon balls. So but but they
decided to go forward fourth and ten, get the turnover
and down, so we get the ball back into the
offense's hands. I thought on the drive the sequences of
here's Land and Adams, you know, stepping up two big
catches in a row. Yes, and then he's really good, Yes, absolutely.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
He's Absolutely, he's really good. You got to watch our practice.
He makes plays that not a lot of high school
kids can make, and he has that wow factor where
his teammates his coaches just kind of look at each
other when they make a play and it's like, holy,
he is talented and he just and we know he's good,
but he just makes his plays where he just wowsy

(07:06):
out there. So no surprise there on our end.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
Two, as I mentioned, two nice catches by Land and Adams,
not huge, but you know, moving the sticks. And then
the other key thing was, you know, Matt able to
get out of the pocket and picked up seven yards
and got out of bounce, didn't take a hit yep.
And then of course the next play from the forty
yard line, bang to Manhattan. What a throw there, Oh,

(07:30):
I mean, unbelievable, unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, I was, well, I say unbelievable, but he doesn't
in practice all the time, So for me, it's believable.
For our team, it's believable. But when you go out
there and do that on that stage, it's just it's
pretty incredible. So and give Matt fog With a lot
of credit for making a really tough catch down the
field and then punching it in. And then after that,
I think we got some momentum and started rolling a

(07:53):
little bit.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Yeah, so you know, we tied it up and you know,
the clock was kind of working its way down. We
get the ball back with one twenty one. You know,
we basically had a forty second drive where we're able
to punch it in to Cooper McCutcheon. Again, just really
a nice throw, you know, I know we see it

(08:14):
in practice from Matt all the time. But man, I
mean he was he had open receivers, but man, that
ball was right there.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah, and give Javon Love a lot of credit on
that because we went three by one. Javon was into
the boundary and they were clouding in the corner to
the boundary, so they were trying to take Javon away
and all that attention Javon created over there, and then
Carson ko getting across the middle pulled that safety. That's
how Cooper McCutcheon came so open on that particular play.

(08:44):
So there's no assists in football, but if there wasn't assists,
you ducked that up to Javon and Carson and Matt
just went right through his read. Boom boom boom right
the Cooper and really good play and at the perfect time.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
That's what's always cool about football plays because there's things
and things that will happen that create the opportunity. But
it's one thing built on another thing to create the
actual play versus you know, one guy just running down
the field and catching the ball. Yeah, and that's that's
what's really cool and seeing that develop. So it's not
just like, hey, blown coverage. It was I mean, there's

(09:21):
a stuff of it happening. So and Coach, that was
really big because to go into half maybe as we
started slow on offense, but we're up fourteen to seven
and we get the ball.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Well, then on top of that is like they get
the ball back and they're moving right, and then Will
Atkins makes one of his huge plays and he had
a great night, but he had a sack and it
was a cool sack too. But end of the drive,
and now you end up with even more momentum. Instead
of going off the field like taking a deep breath, like, oh,
thank god, that was over, you leave with a little

(09:54):
bit more confidence because the play that you made. And
I think that led to that fourteen point swing, which
we talked to our players about all the time. We
want to start fast and finish strong. So we finished
the second half with the score, and then we came
back out and we started the first half with the score, right,
and that's huge.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
The other way. We ended the first half with the score,
and then the second half we started with the score.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
Oh whatever I said backwards, but we ended the first
half of the score, started the second half of the score.
So there's a point fourteen point swing right there, and
that's really hard to come back from.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Yeah, and it was you know, it just seemed like
everything started to click and everybody was getting getting into
the act and that was good. So, uh, you know,
it's you know, and then it got to the point
where I think, you know, the vikings just it was
gonna be tough to come back against our defense. Our

(10:45):
defense had figured things out. They got that score early.
I know they scored late, and they scored real, real late,
but you know, a really solid start.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Yeah, it was a solid start. There's a we by
no means played our best game. What's I mean? There
was a lot of things that we need to correct.
We gave up way too many big plays on defense,
miss tackles all over the place. On offense, we couldn't
consistently maintain drives to move the chains and allow our
defense to rest. It was a lot of big plays

(11:16):
and even though our offensive line did a great job
protecting the quarterback there were zero sacks. We did not
run the ball effectively whatsoever. And that was a big
issue looking at the film the next day. So that's
something we have to improve upon moving the next week.
And on defense, we have to prove upon eliminating big plays,
which really just comes down they're doing their job and

(11:36):
eliminating misstackles, and those are two fundamental things that we
want to focus on as an overall football team and
to improve throughout the year. Those two things must improve
right away.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
I'm confident we're going to get that run game going.
And but that's just essential. When you do get that
bad weather game, freezing cold, something's just not you know,
for some reason, can't throw the ball, or a team
just flat out make sure you're gonna run the ball.
So we have to do it eventually, and it'll happen.
It'll happen. So coach, as you said, uh, you know,

(12:10):
a great start, and and I look at I think
it's great that we didn't come out of the box
like on fire and thinking, man, we're just gonna be
like world beaters from beginning. I mean, you know, I
mean that's a very good team we played, and I
wouldn't be surprised we see them later. We're gonna evolve,
They're gonna evolve. Of course, they're gonna know what what
they're gonna need to do if we if we play again,

(12:31):
and I'm sure there's things we're gonna need to do
to them. So uh, but that's high school football. And hey,
let's let's hope we see them way down the road. Ye,
way down the road, all right. So that's a wrap
on the first win of the season coach a little
bit different coming into Week two one to no versus
own one.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yep, definitely a different mentality.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
I mean was I know last year being kind of
the first year in and and and and you know,
losing to a really good team. But I mean it's
got to be like, man, we just got he's got
to get a win. He's gonna get one on a board.
Let's go.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Yeah, especially being the first year, that was definitely part
of I mean, you know, there wasn't any panic or
anything like that. It's just you play the next game.
But I give Ben Davis just a really good football
team last year. So after that start, we really want
to get a win in the win or get a
notch in the win column and try to get some
mojo moving on. But definitely a different mindset, but in

(13:26):
the same breath, it's the same mindset where we just
focus on going one to zero each week and just
focus on what we can control, what we can do better.
And we're gonna play an opponent on Friday night. We
don't care who it is, we don't care where it is,
what time it's at. We know we got to play.
But we know when we execute on on our end,
we're gonna be a tough team to beat. So that's

(13:46):
always been the message, and the battle cry is control.
You can control and be the best version of yourself,
and we'll see where the chips fall after that.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Coaches, just to wrap that up, I know we start
out one and three last year, but you looked to
me dead in the eye and said, I believe in
this team that we're going to be good, and and
there was no panic, And wow, did that ever ring
true because you knew, you knew your squad and.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
I believe the same with this team too. I have
one hundred percent confidence in our offense or defense, our
special teams and going back to Prince and give our
special forces a lot of credit. Our kicker, James Cornwall
was he just joined the team this year. He was
perfect on his extra points. He kicked a field goal
for his first field goal his career. We tried a

(14:31):
bloop kick, we did a skykick, and one of those
ye ended up like getting and that changed the course
of the game again the fourth quarter, right, And that
wasn't us trying to you know, we're just trying to
kick it up in the air because they have such
talented returns and we wanted to make them have to
fair catch it. And then we end up getting the
football and Tyler Jocelyn, former quarterback, goes down laser hit
and Ricardo Harris recovers the fumble and that was a

(14:53):
big play and a big momentum change there as well.
So to give a shout out to those guys, I
thought our special force versus was the best unit of
our team on Friday night. When you look at offense
defense special Forces, they were the ones that really did
a great job.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
And coach you know, really, again, two good teams. Rarely
do you have a game where there's no turnovers. I
mean that they won.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
They won. Did the fumble Christian Harrison Gurky recovered it?
Oh that's right, that's right now if you count the
kickoffshow right. So yeah, but we but that's part of
our philosophy. Are playing to win is number one. You
got to protect the football, you got to take it away.
So right before we got that fumble, we challenged them
on the sideline and got after the defense like, hey,
you go yourselves, Avocan, we haven't had a turnover yet.

(15:37):
We need to get the ball back. And then Christian Harris,
who had a great game Stripsack Gurky fell on it.
Heck of a play and I forget what transpired after that,
but anytime you get a turnover on that side of
the field, that's big for your football team.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Absolutely so good, good things all around, but a lot
more to get to ahead of us. And we'll take
a break and then we'll come back to preview you
our upcoming opponent for week two. As you're listening to
the Bert Bathyani Show featuring the head coach of the
Molar Crusaders, Bert Bathyni and the show sponsored by Comyan
Shepherd Reeltors and heard here on w MOE and the

You're listening to the Bert Bathyany Show show featuring the
head coach of the Moler Crusaders Bert Bathyani. The show
is sponsored by Koby and Shepherd Realtors and heard here
on w MOE and the Molar Broadcasting Network. I am
Jeff Schneedle, class of nineteen eighty four and here with
the head coach of the Crusaders, Bert Bathyani, and Coach

(17:18):
one to zero. We get to go on the road.
You get to take the act on the road up
to up to Fort Wayne, Indiana against Bishop Dwanger, who
we also played last year. And I think they just
they didn't it wasn't their night last year. And the
travel and everything, but that's got to play into a
little bit. The travel.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
Yeah, without question, anytime you go on the road, it's
a little bit different, and you got a you know,
it's a different stimulus, and you had a plan ahead,
so we'll be leaving a little bit earlier than what
we normally do, and you got to make sure you
don't have bus legs when you get off the bus
and get ready to roll. So it's definitely a different mindset.
But at the same time, you enjoy getting away and
getting away from those potential distractions and this is the

(17:58):
time where you're you're that brotherhood is formed, right like
on the bus with your buddies, with your teammates, and
you're just spending time together, and we always spell love time,
And I think this is these road trips are always
a lot of fun because I think this is where
that brotherhood really starts to take shape and and starts

(18:18):
to form in all the different classes.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
So on the on these long I'll say bus trips,
it's gonna be three hours. Do you prefer having a
stop along the way? Is there silence on the bus
as they're talking with amongst the team? Is their coaching
going on it? And if you don't want to answer it,
that's fine, But it's just kind of like, what's kind
of the mentality when you say, hey, we got three
hours ahead, what are we gonna do?

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Well, it's different from when you played, And then it
was different when I played, because when I played, there
was TVs on the bus, and then coaches brought DVDs
or VHS's, and then everyone picked a movie and you
watch the movie and sometimes it works, sometimes it didn't.
Guys might have headphones and listen to music, but now
everyone's got their phone. So for the most part, right

(19:02):
like back in the day, like some coaches might lose
their mind and want guys to be focused on the
way there and want it to be silent. Well, now
it's silent already because every kid has their headphones in, right,
and they're just watching something on their phones. Checking. Yeah,
they're doing something. So we're not doing homework. Some are, yeah,
some are, I mean, but it is a Friday. I
don't know how many eighteen year olds are doing homework

(19:24):
on a Friday night.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
But some most smart ones who get who get it
done and they get a free Sunday.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (19:28):
They don't have the cram for stuff.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Some of them are. But for the most part, the
bus trip is pretty quiet, to be honest. I mean,
that's usually how it goes, and we don't try to
make a big deal about it. You know, we are
developing remarkable men and we expect them to act like men,
and you know, they just handle their business. So it's
not something we really even discuss.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
Is Are there are there any plans stops along the way.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Sometimes there are, sometimes they're not. We went and played ads.
We stopped at Upper Arlington and we did our Special
Forces check there and we just kind of keep them
on their toes. But we play in ten, like we said,
ten stadiums in ten different games. So for me to
get the right right stop, the only consistency is inconsistency.
So I have no problem this year where things are

(20:13):
a little bit inconsistent and we just got to react
and go with it all.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Right, So Bishop Dwanger, I know they lost a tough
one to I believe Browns and brown is really really good, right,
I mean they played sa Nex, you know, so they
got a good program. They're a really good football team.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
And give I mean Bishop doing and give them a
lot of credit today's day and age, where a lot
of schoolers are just scared to play talented teams, right, Like,
they're not scared at all. They they schedule Brownsburg. They
scheduled that like they ain't scared to play and they
want to compete. And when you just watch how that
program operates when they're going through warm ups, there's a
ton of respect there for them. I Mean, we get

(20:50):
there and we prayed the fifty yard line every single game,
and they were out there warming up last year and
they stopped everything and prayed with us. And I think
that's a testament to the school the culture of the school,
the coaching staff, and it was every single player stopped
what they were doing and prayed. And it's impressive. And

(21:10):
in their warm ups they like it. You can tell
they've probably been doing that for some time, but it
is perfect and it's done to the right way and
they buy into it. So I have nothing but respect
for that football team and coach Garrett over there, and
they do a great job, and they have a great
tradition too, right Like, they've won five state championships. They
won two I think back in like twenty fifteen eighteen

(21:33):
in that area, and that was when they had Tyler Riiffert,
right like Tyler Riiffert, you know, former Bengal he went
the Dwanger. They've had a handful of really good NFL
players and they played really good football. Indiana has really
good football in that state. So excuse you. This will
be a huge challenge for us, and we're excited for
the opportunity. And our old goal this week is to

(21:55):
be better this week than we were last week, and
hopefully we do that. But against a team like this,
he usually make it. They make it tough because they're
really good.

Speaker 1 (22:02):
Well, Coach Garrett I mean, he's uh, he's he's fifty
four and twenty one. So they've won more than two
thirds of their games under his tutelage. But you know
the other thing is is, you know they probably won
a little bit of revenge factor and absolutely you're coming
to our house and they're gonna be ready for us. Yeah, absolutely,
force So uh, you know, again, good program and we're

(22:25):
just gonna have to tee it up and that'll be
week two. So a little bit of travel as we
get you know, little Willie Nelson on the road again,
you know, going as uh the first of many. But
as as we say, we pretty much have ten traveling games.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
This is that this might be one of our shorter trips.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
Right, well, let's uh, let's go and take care of business.
So coach, good luck to the Crusaders. Hopefully have a
really good week. I know it's a warm week, but
you know, we'll get all these warm temperatures out of
the way and then we're gonna get some of those
crystal clear good practice days with good weather. But hey,
good planning here. At least it's real hot. At least
we're going north.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
Yep, absolutely, and give our athletic training staff a lot
of credit. And you know, so Craig Lindsay, John Michael
Leppert and then Coach Gray, our strength and conditioning coach,
they have all been one hundred percent on board each
day this week with these extreme heat numbers. We we
haven't missed a beat that we've practiced every single day now.

(23:23):
We've been smart about it, and we go out, we
have our pads off in the periods that we don't
need them, and then when we're able to, we put
them out. But give those guys a lot of credit
and our managers and you know, all the players on
our team, like we had players going out and taking
over water boyd duties just to make sure that everyone's hydrated.
We had, we had tents out there, we had cooling towels,
and everyone was completely on board for the mission at

(23:47):
hand and that is to be better this week than
we were last week and have a great day of
practice each and every day this week. So we had
a great week of practice, and a lot of it
has to do with our op staff and what they
were able to do. And it does take a village
to run to run this thing, and we have the
best in the business when it comes to those guys.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Coach, I know we had a couple of cramping issues
last week. Is that and that's you know, so here's
here's my opinion on that.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
There is there is a neurological factor when it comes
to the first game, because we couldn't have been more
prepared for cramping. And even my first game at Lexingan Catholic,
we had fifteen kids in our too deep out in
the fourth quarter because of cramping and the whole time
going in it was like, hey, coach, guess what, we're

(24:34):
gonna cramp.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
We're gonna cramp.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
And it's like in their mind where they think they're
gonna cramp. But with our guys, we started we started
to talking about hydration early in the week. On Thursdays,
they are forced to have a bottle of water before
they when they leave the practice field. We have this
jail called the right stuff that prevents cramping, and all
our skill guys got it when they came off the
field Thursday. And then we have water on Fridays where

(24:57):
there's water ice down and Coach Blum's room and Coach
Cedar's room and they're told to go over and get that.
After chapel, they get a water with a liquid IV.
Then there's another liquid IV at dinner. We have salt
provided to the guys at every single table when we're
eating the meal. They get a water when they get
on the bus, and then all those skill guys get
the right stuff as well. So there's a plan in action.

(25:19):
But there is a neurological factor when it comes to cramping,
especially on game one, and I bet if you look
across the country, game one there's drastically more cramping Game
one compared to Game two, because even my first year
and now, there are some players who just tend to
cramp a lot more than others. And Jordan used to
cramp all the time. He was one that cramped a lot.

(25:42):
But they have as much cramping there was that first
game on both teams. There's a there's something with Game one,
just that that heightened sense of stimuli. It does something
in the human body.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Coach, I was wrapping up the show. I love it.
You know what, Now I'm gonna have to come up
with the question of the day to get I love
the fire.

Speaker 2 (26:04):
You got me a little fired up with that one.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Yeah, But you're all I mean, you're all on that,
so you're aware of that, and I liked I like
the thought. It is how many times in life we
think of things and we outthink ourselves.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Think about it, like you're watching that game, and how
many people look at that and they said, oh, well,
they weren't hydrating this week, which yeah, which is complete
BS without question. Like we want to poke at our
kids and say they weren't physically prepared. That's the biggest
BS of all time. They were one hundred percent prepared.
They were going through all kinds of stuff throughout the week.

(26:37):
So I just don't like poking at our players from
that standpoint when they were ready. And there's other factors
that come into play from that standpoint. So there's my
soapbox I office.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
So if we hear someone that say, GS, I wish
coach would give them some water during practice.

Speaker 2 (26:51):
Yeah, and you're not supposed to give them water anyway,
like you drink water up into the game. That's why
Gator and all that stuff was invented to provide those
electra electrolytes and everything. And if you ask my dad,
it's all because of air conditioning. That's that's the reason
why I.

Speaker 1 (27:04):
Had a nice little conversation with your dad after after
the game. Everything on air condition was good, it was good,
it was good. Well, you know, push kids out the door.
You know, there was an old foot Molar football player
and he used to say at his parents' house he
needed it's so cold inside that he needed a blanket.
And I'm talking about the air conditioning. So cold you
need a blanket now, I mean, I think that's a

(27:25):
bit extreme. But but let's not be pampered. Now, let's
go get it right. All right, We're gonna go get
it Friday night as we travel up to Fort Wayne
to take on the Saints A Bishop d Wanger And
you've been listening, coach, appreciate your time as usual with
your show. Has everyone's been listening to The Bert Bathy
Andy Show, which features a head coach of the Moler

(27:46):
Crusaders Burt Bathian. Any firing shot you want again?

Speaker 2 (27:49):
Anything good? You got me all fired up? I gotta
calm down now that's.

Speaker 1 (27:52):
A that's right. I get your water, I get your water.
The Burt Bad the Annie Show is sponsored by Komy
and Shepherd Realtors, and it's heard here're on w MOE
and the Molar Broadcasting network, Go Big Mo and we'll
be on next week.
