Speaker 1 (00:00):
Success in life.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Come what is it you want? Give your best effort,
show me what you got.
Speaker 1 (00:04):
If you want to be a success, you gotta have.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
It's the Burt Pathyany Coaches Shoe presented by Komy and
Shepherd Realtors and First Community Mortgage, a competitive combo championship results.
And here's your host, Jeff Seed and Bulder head football
coach Burt Pathy.
Speaker 2 (00:25):
Andy, have you mooe? And the Moler Broadcasting Network present
the Burt Bathyani Show featuring the head coach of Moeler Football.
That's Bert Bathynni. The show is sponsored by Komy and
Shepherd Reeltors. And I'm your host Jeff Schneedle Class of
nineteen eighty four and by the way, with Komy and
Shepherd Realtors. But it's always great to sit down with
(00:46):
the head coach of the Crusaders, Bert Bathyany coach. How
we doing today? Is ut a nice nice weather week
to work with?
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Yeah, hey, we are doing good. We have a fourth
game scheduled and where it is official?
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Rate a roll. It was a little shaky earlier in
the week.
Speaker 4 (01:03):
We didn't know what was gonna happen, but we got
a full slate of games for our regular season, so
we're pretty excited.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
And coach, you know, with that, that's that's just a
really interesting thing that we weren't sure if we were
going to have a fourth game, and it's just important
for the kids to get all the games in, you know,
with that, and you know, it's just been a very
interesting couple of weeks. But all in all, we're three
and zero. I want to say, just a really solid start.
I know you mentioned me about jinxing about the weather
(01:32):
back of a couple of shows ago, and I don't want,
I don't want to jinx this, but you know, thirty eight,
forty two and forty two points. It's really good showing
on offense. And you know, we you know, anybody who's
tuned in knows about Matt's numbers, you know, eleven touchdowns,
nine hundred and thirty three yards passing. But really I
look at zero interceptions and the thing I love. Nine
(01:55):
different receivers yep, and seven of them have six or
more catches, and I just I just think that's awesome
because I just at the high school level, you just
you really don't see that.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Yeah, we have a there's a lot of talent on
that side of the ball, and there's a lot of talent.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
All over the roster as well.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
But we have a rotation down on offense, and it
really doesn't matter who's going in the game. It doesn't
change our play call, it doesn't change our thought process,
our our coaches on the with the running backs and
offensive line and tight ends and receivers.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
They got the rotation. We stick with it.
Speaker 4 (02:26):
We let our players go out and make plays and
they've earned that trust throughout the summer and the weight
room and every day of practice. But you mentioned the
zero turn zero turnovers on offense. At the same time,
we're plus six defensively, which is huge. So in three
games you're plus six, which is part of our plan
to win is protecting the ball and taking away on defense,
(02:48):
and then on offense we're making explosive plays and on
defense we're creating TFLs and creating long downs for them.
So the plan to win has been going really well
the last three weeks.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
I know coach Sharp likes to h while it's not
officially a turnover, but loss of downs when the other
team can't convert, that's just like a turnover. That's just
like a turnover. So so coach, things are things are,
things are going well, and obviously it's a you know,
it's a it's a three to zero start, and not
to keep harping on last year, but a lot different
than last year. And and uh, you know, it just
(03:21):
seems like everybody's working, the kids are doing well in
the games, and uh, just things are hitting on pretty
much at all cylinders.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yeah, And I think it all starts with the prep
that's happened ever since January, and guys have bought in
and they've given great effort, you know, ever since then.
Anything we demanded them, I think they rise to the occasion,
rise to the challenge, and they've dealt with their share
of adversity and I'm really proud of how they've handled
it with the leadership on this team.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
And I think it really shows how they got to
be working hard and being prepared to practice. And really,
you play how you practice. I mean, you have that
bad week of practice, you kind of come out and
it's no wonder. And I'm sure as a coach you
can you know, let's not have any of those. But
I'm sure you can say, well, geez, you know, our
practices were terrible this week, and you know you're not
(04:06):
gonna come on like a light light switch and you
know be all Americans.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
Yeah, well, I mean that's the name of the game,
is right.
Speaker 4 (04:13):
You practice or you play how you practice, and you
got to stack those days together throughout the week. But
our guys have bought into that idea in that mindset,
and they're a human just like anyone else. There's still
you know, fourteen to eighteen year old you know, young
men that are becoming men, and if they didn't need
us as coaches to push them and challenge them and stuff,
then they wouldn't need us out there, right, But you know,
(04:34):
it's human nature. So there are days where you got
to kind of poking prod a little bit more. But
I think for the most part, our guys do a
really good job of coming out with the intent to
practice very very well, and they know that it's a
process where like the better I practice throughout the week,
it leads to better games. And then throughout the season
we have the mindset we are continuously going to get
(04:56):
better weekend and week out to where we're playing our
best ball at the end of the year. And that's
always the goal.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Coach with it being our first Saturday game, and any
change to the routine, anything anything change or as far
as in the uh in the schedule for the week.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
Yeah, so now our Tuesday is now Monday. Our Wednesday
is now Tuesday. From that standpoint, so you and I
are talking on Thursday, which is normally a Wednesday practice.
So today we have a normal practice. We'll go till
six and it's a third down, fourth down day, and
then a review of everything throughout the week. You know,
it's a long season, so anytime where I'm able to
give our guys off, I give them off. And they
(05:33):
had Sunday completely off, which gave them two days with
Saturday and Sunday. So I think that was a good,
like little pretend bye week, so to say, and then
we get back at it. And then on Monday, it
was obviously a whirlwind because we didn't know if we
are plane or not, and that was like our Sunday,
so I think that was probably a little bit more
stressful than your normal Sunday. But we got the game
(05:53):
figured out and then ever since then it was full
steam ahead and we're just ready to go to ironton
which we've heard nothing but great things and they.
Speaker 1 (05:59):
Do a good job and put on a good show.
Speaker 4 (06:01):
And we've played there a couple of years ago against
good counsel, and a couple of years before that we
played Ironton. So are guys like playing there? They enjoy it,
and the fans, the hospitality are awesome. So I think
this is a really cool event for our alumni, our fans,
our parents, you know, everyone at Mogate. So you know,
we're excited to play.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
And we'll talk about that upcoming game in our second segment,
and but we'll take a break here and we'll come
back and we'll talk about our recent games. As you're
listening to The Bert bathy Andy Show, which features the
head coach of the Molar Football Crusaders, Bert Bathyni, sponsored

(07:29):
That's Bert Bathyani Show is sponsored by Kobe and Shepherd Realtors.
I'm Jeff Schneedel with the class of nineteen eighty four
and coach. Let's back up a little bit because we really, uh,
just due to some scheduling, we kind of got out
of rhythm with the coaches Show, as people might have
figured out if they listened. But let's just go back.
Bishop Dwanger. Certainly that team was coming off a loss.
(07:52):
They were ready to play, We were ready to play.
It was just a really tight football game until we
were able to break it open later.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
Yeah, give them a lot of credit. I thought they
played with a ton of effort and a ton of
energy and gave us fits early on. And you know,
you have a long drive. I think we have like
a twelve play drive to open up the game. And
then you just didn't put points on the board, right,
and then they come back out, we stop them, we
get the ball back, and then Matt makes a great
throw to put us up seven. But then after that,
(08:19):
just a couple times where we just fell asleep at
the wheel on offense, on defense and special teams where
they might have got really good field position or we
messed up a play here there, and it led to
you know, the drive, ending of the drive, you know,
continuing on defense. And I think it was a good
wake up call to the guys, especially coming off Week one.
(08:40):
There's so much hoop op for Princeton Week one.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
It's the game, you know, just like I mean months
of build up, yeah, and then you finally have the
game and you win the game.
Speaker 4 (08:50):
Yeah, And you see it in college football now too, right, Like,
you know it's that game too, because Game one has
so much hype around it, and then Game two you're
always trying to you know, not have a letdown. And
I think it was a good learning lesson where hey,
like you're gonna get everyone's best every single week, and
we got to bring it right. There's no gimmes in
(09:10):
this league, and there's no gimmes on our schedule without question.
So every single week, you got to come right to
play because you're getting the other team's best no matter
what you see on film.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Coach at Bishop Dwanger game, we're ahead twenty one to ten,
and I don't want to say comfortably, but they get
a drive, they punch it in, they get the two
point conversion. Now it's a three point game, and we
come out and you insert number thirty two Gray Low
coach first carry nine yards, which I think the offensive
(09:41):
line kind of maybe took it upon themselves, but it
seemed like Graylow did a lot there to get a
nine yard carry. Come right back to them twenty four
yard carry. I think it's set the tone for the
rest of the game. I think three or four plays later,
we're in the end zone. We start to stretch it
out again.
Speaker 4 (09:55):
Yeah, and we're really excited about that running back room
because we think we have a handful of guys that
we can give the ball to and they're going to
be successful. And gray Low has had a great camp.
He's gonna be he's a sophomore right now, great camp.
You know, we trust him like crazy. He's really good
in pass pro. He's got really good hands and he's
able to make those plays when given him the opportunity.
So it was a nice little change up from Dante
(10:17):
who was carrying most of the load in the first half.
And then gray Low comes in and then he's got
a full, you know, thing of energy, and then you know,
he makes two big plays and that really gets that
drive going and then go punch it in and score
and really put us up. And I think after that,
I think, if I remember correctly, that that's when we
kind of like separated the points from that game on,
so that that twenty four yard game was a big
(10:39):
one and you get on and score real quick, and
then I think we got the ball back and scored
again shortly after that.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Well, you know, hats off to gray Low because I
don't think he had didn't have any carries up till then,
and second game of the year, he comes in and
he kind of inserted that energy. I mean as far
as just being kind of ready both memally and physically.
It just seemed like that's that's what I thought was
really cool about that back to back plays and he
(11:06):
picks up thirty three yards and it takes us we're
in a three point game. I mean, it wasn't like
it wasn't like r by forty points. And we put
someone in, we put some in a crunch time yep.
And he really really inserted himself and and that was
a good thing. It's a nice little, nice little punch there.
And I know we have some good running backs, but
but uh, you know, and that's the type game someone
(11:27):
looks at the score and says it's forty two to eighteen. Oh,
Mohler just kind of rolled it. Whatever that was, you know,
Bishop Dwanger and you know, even in the press box,
the bishop, they're like, jeezus. Their biggest i'll say disappointment
was I wish we would have played like this last
week because they probably would have won. I mean they
were like, wow, this was I'm like, yeah, you guys
played great, yep. And that was not an easy game.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Now.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
They had a good plan and they played really really
hard and they made plays and gave us fits. They
took advantage of opportunities and the game got pretty close there.
But I thought that was it, like I said earlier,
a really good learning opportunity for our team to have
that in game two. And then still the result was
still what we wanted, right, the process might not have been,
(12:10):
but it's really good to have those learning moments when
you don't have to have an unfortunate loss or anything
like that.
Speaker 2 (12:16):
Again, there's a game two and some travel and something different,
and there it is, but we get the win there.
And then we come back with East Central, which I know,
you know, there had to be in the minds of
some of the kids, you know it.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
Three and sixty five days we've been thinking about this game, yep, yep.
Speaker 2 (12:32):
And so to come out, they get the ball, a
three and out and then our sequence of plays five
yard run with Dante thirteen yard pass, twenty two yard run,
nine yard pass, eleven yard run, eight yard pass for
a touchdown. I mean, just systematically right down the field,
and man, it was it was on from there. You know,
(12:56):
hats off, great drive. I mean, there were there were
no completes with that, there were no negative yard I mean,
it was one play after another, alternating run, pass, run, pass,
kick it off. They get, we get another three and out,
and then in one play Dante Ware Dante Ware with
a forty six yard touchdown pass and and man, it
(13:17):
just seemed like everything was just just rolling. And then
they run two plays and then here comes Jacob Cravens
with you know, a pick six twenty one nothing, And
I'll be honest, coach, at that point, the game starts
getting harder to broadcast. Yes, I mean love getting all
the kids in, but I mean it's like, I mean,
(13:38):
we just we just jumped out so fast and so furious.
I mean, hats off for the kids being ready to go.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
Yep, absolutely so. Like I said, we we've been thinking
about this game for an entire year and there's no
doubt about it. We left the field with a terrible
taste in our mouth last year, but you know, it
was a good wake up call last year and it
got us off on the right foot, I think, and
in twenty twenty three. But we did not want that
same feeling again this year. So our guys, you know,
(14:05):
they were motivated for this game. They're excited for this game.
I thought we had a really good playing going into it.
I thought the kids executed really well, and that was
a good week of practice leading up to that, and
they did a good job. And like you mentioned in
the week before, how Graylow came in and was ready
to roll in this game. It was him and Tyler
Jocelyn coming in y role. So Dante got us started
(14:26):
off and made a lot of big plays. He was
player of the Game against East Central as well, just
for you know, explosive plays that he made. But Gray
Low goes in and runs the ball effectively and really
good in pass pro. And then Tyler Jocelyn gets in
former quarterback and he has some really tough runs and
then he punches it in for you know, his uh,
his rushing touchdown.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
So he said, he's an interesting athlete. I mean, he's
got some quicks, and he's strong.
Speaker 1 (14:50):
He's tough. He's tough.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
He's a maniac in the weight room in that like
what you see on the field is just straight hard
work by Tyler Joscelyn. He is a team favorite. He
busts his butt in the weight room. He's strong as
can be. He's a wrestler as well, and he actually
broke his ankle back in December, and they thought, I mean,
(15:13):
if there's a kid that's gonna come back sooner than
what the doctors say, it's Tyler Johnson. There's no doubt
about it. I mean, he looks like nothing ever happened.
I think people forget that he snapped his leg in
December during wrestling season and he's back in the spring
like nothing happened.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
Coach, I never knew of that, and there's no no
ill effects. I mean he's I mean even the massling game, man,
he had some hard runs. I'm like, wow, this kid's
in the corral too.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
Yeah, it doesn't it doesn't matter. I mean, he's just
that tough and he took his rehab very very serious,
and you see the byproduct of that. But then in
the second half, like Carl Jefferies gets in and then
Deacon gets in and they both ran the ball really
really well. So there's a lot of explosive plays in
the run game, which I was really excited about to
see that from five different guys getting the rock that night.
Speaker 2 (16:00):
That's good, well, especially when you know if there's one
knock on from the outside does have a running game,
they're a running game. They only throw it whatever whatever.
Plenty of time left to have that.
Speaker 1 (16:10):
But it is cool.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
You have a great corl kids, you know, and I
know it may get hard to get them all the ball,
but it's it's neat that they at any moments notice,
they get their number called and they're going to come
in and do something.
Speaker 4 (16:22):
Yeah, well, it creates competition and practice, right because and
that's what I love about this team is that every
spot there's a ton of competition where if you're not
doing your job or not locked in right like, you
can sit down and then someone else can take your place.
And that's the greatest motivator of all time is playing time.
And I love this team for that because the competition
(16:42):
is so high in so many different positions that it
allows you to really compete and develop at a much
faster rate.
Speaker 2 (16:51):
Does that make it hard dealing with the kids, So yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:55):
I mean it's just if you're a competitor, you want
to be on the field, right, So there's a given
to take with it. But for the most part, I
think our guys do a really good job competing and
putting their best foot forward every single week, knowing like, hey,
if I perform well, I'm gonna get the opportunity.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Makes practice kind of interesting, doesn't it. Without question, that's
what you want, what you want, you know, that's what
you want. You want to know Lollipop practices. Man, they're
gonna be working and I'm working for playing time.
Speaker 1 (17:20):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Good stuff all right. That takes care of our recent games,
as the Crusaders have a three and oh record, and
we're gonna take a short break. Then we're gonna be
talking about our upcoming opponent, who, to be quite honest,
a week ago, never even heard of the school. But
it's pretty cool. They're gonna come up and play. So
let's take a break. As you're listening to the Bert
bathy Andy Show featuring the head coach of the Crusaders,
(17:43):
Bert Bathyni and sponsored by Comy and Shepherd Realtors and
heard here on wm OE and the Moler Broadcasting Network.

the Bert Bathyanny show, which features the head coach of
the Football Crusaders, Bert BATHYNI show is sponsored by Comy
and Shepherd Realtors. I'm Jeff Schneiedl with the class of
nineteen eighty four, and we're here to talk about our
upcoming trip this Saturday to the beautiful town of football town,
(19:04):
I'll say, the beautiful football town of Ironton. We get
to go back and play in the Ironton Classic. It's
our second time going to play in the Classic. It's
our third time to play in Ironton. And Coach, have
you ever been to Ironton.
Speaker 1 (19:18):
I have not been to Ironton. I have.
Speaker 4 (19:22):
A little bit knowledge, just like the football tradition there.
I believe there's like one of the first professional football
teams is down there as well in Ironton. I think
they actually ended up in Detroit. I think that's where
they went.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
I think they went to Canton and became the Canton
Bulldogs that became the Detroit Line.
Speaker 1 (19:38):
But that.
Speaker 4 (19:40):
There's a rich history of football down in Ironton. And
when you get over that way, there's a lot of
good football in that region because you get the Huntington
West Virginia and there's some good football in that area
as well, and then in eastern Kentucky, I have a
little bit more knowledge, but there's some really good football
teams over there. When you talk about you talk about Pikeville,
you talk about Racelin, you talk about Ashton Blazer. There's
(20:01):
a lot of teams over that way that have a
good tradition as well. So it'll be fun, it's a
good road trip, and it'll be a good environments for
our guys that are excited.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
Well, we love our football, but it is really cool
to go to a town that is just invigorated yep
by the sport and their high school team and the Tigers.
I mean it is I mean, they love that and
I just think it's just such an awesome vibe. And
then you throw in a stadium that's what almost one
hundred years old or whatever it is, Tanks Memorial Stadium,
(20:30):
and it's it's just a great atmosphere. And uh, you know,
I know we went and took on the Tigers had
to be whatever four years ago, whatever that was, And
then and then we came back and took on not
Bishop Gorman. Why do I keep good counsel? Good counsel
and and coach. The one thing I take away from
(20:52):
that game with you know, good counsel came in. It's like, wow,
you know, Mola is going to be kind of tough.
And I think we had multiple really good starting defenders
that that couldn't suit up for that game. So it
was literally next man up. And our vantage point was
on the opposite side where our press box was, but
it was a shorter stand. There's only ten rows. I
(21:13):
remember the Good Council offensive line coming off and and
they just had this look about them like, oh my god,
we're in like a game, like they weren't expecting that.
And from there, I mean, we really controlled the game
and it was that was just a fun game. But
you know, we were planning on going there against one
(21:36):
opponent and things change. They decided to make a change,
and then all of a sudden, we have a team
out of Mallard Creek, North Carolina, which is a little
bit north of Charlotte, and they got good football down
there yet and they are three hundred and thirty three
miles away from Ironton the coach they come in to
play and you know, not even knowing really much about them,
(21:58):
and does it make it a man scramble or is it?
I mean, is it, Hey, guys, we're gonna do what
we do and let's just let's do what we do best.
Speaker 4 (22:07):
Yeah, I mean, I guess there's a little bit of
a scramble logistically for the coaches in the athletic department.
For the players, nothing, I mean, they just know that
they're playing someone in a different colored uniform than previous right, Like,
so there was no change for them except that they
just didn't know who what film to watch this first
couple of days. But then once we got it, they
(22:28):
locked in. They's like, all right, this is who we're
playing and we're rocking and rolling.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
So was the plan all, hey, we're finding a game?
I mean, was it like don't mentally check out thinking
you're getting like a Friday off and it was like
a we're going to find a way to play. Was
that kind of the.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
I guess I was always there's always this quite confidence
that I thought we were going to find one. Like
I never really crossed that bridge mentally of us not
having a game. I don't know if that's stupor or not.
I just I mean, I'll tell you this, I did
have my rosary in my hand for all day on
Sunday and Monday.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
On the phone in the other, well.
Speaker 4 (23:01):
You have the phone in the other trying to get
this thing going. But this all started a couple of
weeks ago where one of our assistant coaches saw on
Twitter that this team needed a game and it matched
up and looking ahead him thinking like, okay, what if
we don't find a game, this happen and maybe they
can come place at Mount Saint Joe. So we started
(23:21):
the conversation there about like a week to ten days ago.
Didn't go in the right direction, and then a couple
of days past and then we get Ironton involved and
try to figure it out that way, and you know,
and uh, I guess Sunday night we were getting closed,
getting closed, getting closed. And then Monday that's when it
became somewhat official where we felt good enough to tell
(23:42):
the players and tell the parents and everyone that it
was happening. Then I think it wasn't until Tuesday morning
that like the.
Speaker 2 (23:47):
Ink dried, yeah, and the game was happening.
Speaker 1 (23:52):
Don't count no, no, So we yeah, it was nuts.
It was a whirlwin. Never seen anything like that before.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
So what we do know about Mallard Creek is it
is a newer school two thousand and seven, and myself,
being in real estate, I've always been aware that, you know,
Charlotte is like an exploding you know development, I mean
in all directions, and you know, so it's almost like
they can't build things fast enough for what's going on.
So certainly that is a byproduct of that. I mean,
(24:20):
you need more schools, you need that, and that's where
Mallard Creek comes up. And as I mentioned, they're three
hundred and thirty three miles away from Ironton. But you
know they come in one and one and one. They
lost to Grayson, Georgia, which is a top fifty team, yep,
and they lost twenty eight to fourteen. So this isn't
just someone looking for a game. This is this good
(24:41):
quality team that's gonna come up.
Speaker 1 (24:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
I mean there were the three time defending state champions
at one point. I don't know what the exact years were,
but they're a dang good football team. I mean, they're
solid on special teams, they're fast on offense, they're very
aggressive on defense. I mean there is no weakness on
their team whatsoever. We we've been really impressed. I mean on defense,
I think they fly to the football, they give great effort,
(25:04):
they're aggressive. They got a really good front seven, a
very athletic secondary. So we got our we we're gonna
have to get the work against those guys. On offense,
they're explosive as can be. I mean, they can take
it to the house at any time, So we got
to be you know, we got to be in check
on our tackling, our coverage and eliminating big plays just
like we always have. And then on special teams, I
(25:26):
think they're really good as well. I think they're very
well coached, and when it's when it's coach to coach
and you're watching another team, you really give a lot
of respect to them when you can just see their
effort on film. And I think they do a really
good job with effort and playing really really hard on
in every phase.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
Of the game. So yeah, like you said, this isn't
just a team looking for a game like check in.
Speaker 4 (25:51):
No, and they they're they're all about playing the best
teams in the country too, right, So this is gonna
be a good matchup of two really good quality opponents
and it will be a good game.
Speaker 2 (26:00):
From a sidelight and not knowing too much about their players.
I will tell you, I look at looking over their roster.
They have some of the most unique first names.
Speaker 1 (26:08):
Yeah, and and.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
I was almost going to do a spot where read
through them and the only the only double ones are
Deuce and Caleb and everyone else. It seems like has
I think it's awesome. But Coach, what scares me of
their team? Colors Navy, Cardinal and Vegas Gold. I meant
to look up what does veg what's the difference with
(26:30):
Vegas Gold?
Speaker 1 (26:31):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
I mean, that's that that's what worries me, Coach, that's
that's a broadcast.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
Vegas Gold.
Speaker 2 (26:37):
But but now we all know that Vegas Gold, Vegas Gol.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
What's the difference idea, I.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Don't know, but I guess if you go to Minards,
I guess you can see seventy five million shades of gold. Yes,
in Vegas Gold. That just sounds good, good, Yeah, it does,
it does well. We'll see, we'll see Mallard Creek on
on Saturday game time one o'clock. Just making sure with
that that that's all good and uh and coach, you
(27:02):
know more than anything, just I know we'll have the
kids ready to go, and and there's nothing better than
just teeing it up and uh get get get on
the field and just let it hang out.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
Feel like college football one o'clock kicking yep, back to watch.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
The college football die hards have some choices to make.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
So it's okay.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
I think there's gonna be a lot of people listening
to the game, listening to our broadcast with with maybe
a TV on with some college football. So hey, that's
okay too.
Speaker 1 (27:30):
It is okay. We're just going out.
Speaker 4 (27:31):
We'll play in a parking lot, we'll play in a calfield,
we'll play you know, whatever stadium. We're just excited to play.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
But we're gonna play. It an awesome I mean, it's
it's a football field, so and the whole town and
it's the vibe is there so excited. If you can't
get the ironton, certainly tune in to w m OE
and the mol Are Broadcasting Network. But I tell you what,
it's worth the trip and it'll be great to go
see the Crusaders. And you know, we play a team
we've never played before. So because we know the following
(27:58):
weeks we get to play some familiar.
Speaker 1 (28:00):
So we get familiar really quick.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
So but hey, that's what it is. Just the next
game up, we'll take care of it. Coach, always appreciate,
appreciate your time. And I know it's just been a
fun and challenging couple of weeks. But next thing you know,
we're going to get in the normal. See if I
can say that the GCL good and get this Saturday
done and then before you know it will be in October.
Speaker 1 (28:23):
We'll go fast.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
It's all good, but we're good things with the Crusaders. Coach,
